Oh, Anon, the question should be ‘what songs don’t make you think of your favourite jatp fics?’ the answer would be much shorter 🫠
Alas, that is not the case! (especially because this is a show about a band, and therefore music is involved in almost all the fics somehow)
In no particular order, songs that immediately come to mind:
Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Deep Blue Something makes me think of We Found Wonderland by @pink-flame (ICanSpellConfusionWithAK on ao3) - the chokehold this fic still has on me 🙃🙃 istg
anything Jukebox the Ghost (iykyk cc: the @pearlcaddy cinematic universe)
@missjoolee wrote one of my favourite one-shots ever (it’s such a vibe) and whenever I hear Sandstorm I am immediately transported to a road trip dance party
@sanssssastark used Don’t Look Back in Anger by Oasis in her fic of the same name and now I can’t listen to Oasis without immediately thinking of Luke Patterson
I could go on and on 🙈 the majority of playlists saved in my Spotify are from juke/jatp fics and a large number of songs in my ‘Liked’ playlist are songs that I rotate the JatP characters to on a daily basis, but this answer has already gotten too long! Perhaps I will share more another day!

Last song I listened to: The Underdog by GUM, which is the last track on my Discover Weekly playlist this week.
Three favorite foods: This question is stressing me out! I like... food? Lots of different food? Uh, let’s say, Cheetos, the strawberry salad from Publix, and Sour Patch Kids. Two-thirds of those have no nutritional value, but oh well.
Last thing I googled: RV Rental. Starting to think about JatP Season 3 and (spoiler alert) the financial feasibility of touring. Tour buses cost around $150k, y’all, so there definitely won’t be a fancy bus w/the JatP logo on the side.
Dream trip: Probably some kind of month long, see everything in Europe trip. Or, I’ve been thinking lately about an Alaskan cruise--Mom always wanted to do that, so it might be cool to do in her honor or something.
Anything I want right now: a new job? a good night’s sleep? a month off to just deal with unfinished tasks around the house?

apparently today is fanfic writer appreciation day so i’m going to take a quick moment to give a few quick shout outs. if you’re not on this list, it’s not because i don’t love you or your fics, it’s just because this is a quick list.
@willexxmercer: everything you write astounds me. i can’t tell you how many times i’ve read the letters to juliet au. i can’t tell you how hard mutants hit me. i can’t tell you how excited i am every time i get to read something new by you. i love you and i love everything you create.
@hufflebibin: you. you’re the one. i agreed to beta a fic for you and only after i agreed did i find out that it didn’t have a happy ending. and you got me hooked. granted, it was through your writing that got me hooked (though i will ALWAYS at heart be a HEA person). your mind and skill at crafting plots is one that i admire, and i’m so lucky to be able to brainstorm with you.
@willexmagic: like rob, you’re incredible at crafting stories. each of your own aus is brilliant. you’re such a brilliant storyteller and author. you’ve got an unstoppable mind in creating plots, and it always blows me away how you can spin anything into an amazing tale.
@pawprinterfanfic: your writing blows me away. i’m thankful to get to read your work.
@sunsetsandcurves: everything i have read by you i’ve immediately fallen in love with it.
@pearlcaddy: you’re able to take such ordinary things and turn them into extraordinary stories. jatp fic about food service? never thought i’d read that 15-20 times.

the debate episode of community will forever make me feral. Jeff literally does not care about the debate at all (so he says) but he strives to make it super apparent that he's only doing it for a parking space. but then Jeremy teases at Annie, calling her by her insecurity, and suddenly Jeff is like "ABSOLUTELY NOT I NOW CARE ABOUT THIS BC YOU CAN'T TALK TO HER LIKE THAT".

1. What are three shows in your watchlist that you’ve been meaning to get to?
I am actually the worst for saying “oh, I’m gonna watch that!” And then instead going back and rewatching my old favourites (*cough* JatP *cough*), so I could for sure list more than 3 but, off the top of my head:

Outlander (one day I *will* finish it, I swear)
16. Describe your favorite hoodie. How long have you had it? What makes it unique?
My favourite is an oversized cobalt blue hoodie, it’s worn in all the right places and the inside is so soft. It’s missing the hood string, but that just adds to its charm.
I got it as part of an outdoor ed program I took in high school, so I’ve had it for..twelve years (doing that math physically hurt me jsyk). It has the acronym of the program and the program year in Roman numerals stitched on it in white thread. It also used to have my nickname from the program stitched on the left arm, but it was related to an ex-boyfriend of mine so I ripped it out a few years ago so I didn’t have to keep explaining what it meant to people over and over again 😅
37. Do you mind if others are in the kitchen when you’re cooking or baking?
In my own home, yes. GTFO of my kitchen. But my kitchen is small and husband has a tendency to stand right where I need to be at any given moment 🙃
I’ve had many kitchen related jobs in the past and never had issues sharing the kitchen space then, but that’s likely due to the fact that those kitchens were designed for collaboration.
46. What’s the last thing a friend recommended to you that you looked into and actually liked?
Well directly, @claire8216 recommended Daisy Jones and the Six and though I have only just begun reading it, I like it very much!
Indirectly, @pearlcaddy influenced me to finally watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer through all her gif making/sharing and of course her fic Some Killer Queen You Are

So, it just occurred to me that Carrie explaining Julie and her ‘hologram band’ to her dad in 1x09, pretty clearly for the first time, means:
He didn’t go to Eats ‘n Beats, which, I guess I knew, but it just kind of hit home that he should’ve been there to be supportive. But at the very least, wouldn’t you have told your dad about it later?
She also didn’t tell him about being “upstaged” at the spirit rally.
She didn’t tell him where she was going when she went to Julie’s garage party.
She didn’t explain in any detail when she came home with a bunch of kids to throw an impromptu party the night of the dance.
So Carrie doesn’t go to her dad when she’s upset, doesn’t vent to him, and doesn’t even ask him for professional advice. Like, does he have any idea what’s going on in her life? Does he even care? It’s just sad.
