I really wish there was a better way to consume wrestling content. I don't need it all to be on some big streaming service but just a more accessible way of viewing various wrestling archives would be nice. I desperately want to get familiar with more wrestlers, their stories, characters and so forth but it is practically impossible to track down some of their matches. Hell, even with AEW being as big of a company as it is I still have no way to watch their back catalog. I know some stories being carried into All In predate AEW and that's fine but that brings me back to my original point of lack of access to archival wrestling footage but it also brings me to a second point: People who are new to AEW, namely myself, want to understand the dynamics of the wrestlers and the only way to do that is to watch from the beginning. But you can't do that with All Elite Wrestling.

I just want to watch wrasslin and have it make sense.

petty complaint of the day: nbc has finally removed from hulu the only late night show i watch, with seth meyers, and embedded it in peacock instead. and while i have peacock, because i love amber ruffin and would pay just to support her show, i hate that their streaming service always pops up a bar asking me to disable my adblocker in order to watch the content. not because i care that they say that--it makes sense that they want me to watch ads, lol, though i think i have the ad-free version so that’s weird anyway. but because whenever it asks me to disable my adblocker, i close the bar that says that...and then shows play without a problem. why bother people about their adblockers if you have no enforcement mechanism? annoying.

Okay before tonight's ep, my final predictions for week 2 of Knockouts on The Voice that absolutely no one but me cares about:

Team Reba:

Justin & Jeremy vs Zeya - the twins win solely because Zeya's blind audition was glossed over so I don't expect her to make it to the live shows (Though Anya is still alive so 🤷🏻‍♀️)

D: I'm slightly leaning Maddi and John steals Kamalei because Kamalei singing one of John's own songs seems like the perfect set up for that, but it could honestly be reversed. Either way, John's swiping the loser though so they both stay in

Alyssa vs Rletto - which means one of these two are definitely going home. Based off previous performances, I'm predicting Alyssa wins but it will be close

We have absolutely no teaser for who is paired with who amongst his remaining 4 contestants, but after much deliberation about who John would pair to set up a steal, this is my prediction.

Gene vs Zoe - Gene wins and Reba steals Zoe

Jackie vs Mafe - Jackie wins

I think if you're going to purposefully set up a steal, you would use Gene to do it, the same way Reba used Asher to keep Tae in the competition and like Chance is using Maddi. Gene is way too damn good to lose, and Zoe has shown big improvements so John (and/or producers behind the scenes) would probably want her to stay in the competition. Zoe also makes sense for Reba to steal (though idk if they would've known ahead of time which coach would be stealing). Jackie should be safe enough to win against Mafe, though it will be close. John's team is just stacked at this point. I wouldn't want to be battling any of them :S
