More about what I have to say:

rät is basically a song about finding out the person or person you’ve idolized and worked to become your whole life are actually terrible people. You feel betrayed. You feel like you have betrayed others. You have been abused in the capitalist world. You are breaking free. These people cannot control you any longer. They could’ve been great, and maybe they were, but they certainly aren’t now.

What’s been happening to Mickey is basically. Um.

Basically every line of this song fits him I think. It’s literally called rät. There is the insane amount of swearing, but I think it adds something. Mickey (not just Mickey, mind you, the 1928 version of Mickey) is free now. The company that wants to oversimplify him and keep him as family friendly as possible have had their power weakened. (The Paul Ruddish shorts are exempt from that btw; those things are in a league of their own.)

I was gonna call attention to some specific lyric, but now I can’t pick, but I have this weird theory that the second chorus of a song will almost always be the most relatable and malleable, and so far it’s been holding up pretty well. I think mostly the entire verse around “I thought if mankind toured the sky it meant that all of of could go,” because Mickey was brought into this world by a company that did at the time just want to make good quality content for people. He was brought up and developed to just want to help and want the best for people. Yet suddenly, he’s shoved in a little corporate box, where they say he’s treated like the boss, but he’s really just the company’s most prized possession. And still, everyone else is just a means to an end, while Mickey is always the face of the entire company.

Playing as Peach in Wonders has been a delightful experience for me!

I may struggle with some of the controls a little but you can’t deny how fun this game is and the fact how it leaned into the cartoonish aesthetics (think of Looney Tunes or Paul Ruddish’s Mickey Mouse) just made it all the more charming.

5. Once upon a christmas mickey: him and minnie are really sweet together in this one and he is just really sweet and kind overall, i like him

4. Runaway brain mickey: simply for the fact that it's my favorite mickey short of all time

3.Three Musketeers mickey: i really like the facial expressions of this movie and all the emotional weight the movie has in the third act, it makes me like this mickey a lot

2 .Epic Mickey mickey: he is nice but actually makes really big mistakes which makes his acts of kindness feel more satisfying, and makes the thinner path more interesting. He gets to interact with oswald too which already makes me like him a bit more

1. Paul Ruddish mickey: He is really really funny and sweet, reminds me a lot of Wander, he is the best one for me

Great, now you've got me wanting more of Beakley interacting with the boys? Heck, Beakley's dynamic with Louie in Mervana was a solid start. Funny comment aside, what do you think of The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse seeing as its now the only series with Mickey and Friends that isn't a preschool show? You hope some elements of Ducktales show up there like Della, David Tennant voicing Scrooge, and Cristina Valenzuela as HDL?

I mean.....eh. I'm not personally a big fan of the whole MMS13/TWWoMM things. Really not a fan of them personally. (I have been known to even insult them by saying Paul Ruddish? MORE LIKE PAUL RUBBISH.) Personally not into the art style or the comedy style.

But IF they were to add more DT17 elements to the show I would at least be more willing to watch them. I would suspect these characters would still be just their very basic characteristics so the boys would remain trouble makers, Scrooge remain a greedy capitalist, and Della would probably be shown as stubborn and a thrill seeker. AKA not the best versions of themselves. But I mean I probably would at least give it an honest chance if we got some of the DT17 elements.

I don't care what anyone says, it is iconic. He is such a complex character. least favorite thing about themHow little merchandise I can find of him? Does that count? I actually have more Mickey shirts than Donald ones just because I can never find anything with Donald on them! Even in Disney stores aside from plushies there always seems to be more Mickey Mouse stuff. It annoys me. Favorite lineFrom Ducktales 2017 "We're gonna die. I've wasted my life!" and in regards to adventures "Someone always seems to get hurt." *sniff* also "I can't keep track of all your sworn enemies." He get a lot of good lines in this show. He gets a lot of good ones in the Paul Ruddish Mickey shorts as well. "I loooooveeee yooouuuu" and "whoo wants a huuug?" brOTPMickey and Donald! My absolute brotp. I love them so much, ok? Donald and Goofy, (the Disney trio is pure), Donald and Sora (so is the Trinity Trio) Donald and the triplets as a family relationship, Donald and Della, Donald and Gladstone, Donald and Fethry, Donald and Scrooge for family relationships as well. Oh, Donald and Storkules! Donald and Minnie makes a sweet friendship too. OTPDonald and Daisy! Donald, José, and Pachito ot3! He is also afraid of losing other people close to him like he lost Della if Spear of Selene proves anything. And that fear always come from his negative opinions about himself. unpopular opinionI thought maybe he could have used a bit more of his temper in the Kingdom Hearts series. Also, I think he would have worked better as the knight than the mage given his personality. Also, I don't mind his more jerkish characterization in the recent Mickey shorts. He's still the same loveable, temperamental, relatable, duck I know and love, only with a slightly more dickish streak. I tend to have a lot of little shits as my favorite character anyway. More so when in comes to his inferiority complex and always feeling second best at everything. Listen to them. Just replace the line where the girl is talking about how she is tired if being compared to Britney spears with someone like Gladstone or Mickey as Donald has felt like he is always second best to his cousin and best friend or constantly being overshadowed by them.
