I think Peter’s a camera nerd, I like when he’s actually into photography and not just taking selfies for the bugle

thinking about parksborn in their late 20s-early/mid 30s and peter seeing a family with an infant on patrol or helping may clean out the basement and finding old baby books, and just immediately getting hit with a wave of "i want that". hes always wanted a family of his own, always had so much love to give, and may raised him real good, so hes pretty confident in the fact that he could raise his own child just as well.

and then theres harry. harry who avoids the subject all together or tenses up whenever peter even just alludes at it. and peters not trying to force him into it, because if harrys not ready, hes not ready, and peter can wait, and he wont bother harry about it anymore.

until they have an argument. harrys been all distant lately, coming home late, being busy at odd times, etc. the kid thing gets brought up, peter asking if thats the reason harrys acting like this, asking if he was pushing it too hard.

harry breaks.

just completely breaks, screaming about how, yes it is about the kid thing, how hes been going to therapy (after years of refusal) to try and better himself and get his shit sorted out, to try and undo every little thing that norman had done and instilled into him, because harry is not fucking up this potential kids life. hes not turning into norman.

he cries and cries and cries, peter holding him as he whispers words of comfort to harry.

they talk about it calmly the next day.

harry'll go to therapy for as long as he needs to, until he feels and knows that hes ready. and peter will wait. because he's always gonna wait for harry.

a few years later, their daughter is born, and harry is the best damn dad there ever was.
