Rouje and The City Review : Part 1

I’m disappointed,Joking! Of course not. We should all know by now that is not something possible when talking about Rouje. People want their stuff and Rouje is giving it to them. However, minus the Rouje bias, it is important to talk about where this Rouje and The City drop leaves Rouje and our understanding of our beloved, Lesfillesenrouje. You could look at this collection as a maturing of the Fille En Rouje. She has embraced all that has made her the woman she is. She has also uplifted the status of the Gabin to a business suit or tuxedo. Rouje has set itself away from clichés and stereotypes and absolutely envisions self awareness and wholesomeness in the way it should be done. This new campaign starts at being somewhat of a down to earth addition to the Rouje world. This down to earth-ness being in the sense of how the pictures are set and who is representing Lesfillesenrouje. It is a perfectly diverse cast that represents the spirit of Rouje. Our Filles are in the city, dining, shopping, gossiping and eating out in a real Carrie Bradshaw and her Sex and the City squad manner. Unlike Sex and the City itself, this campaign feels rather realistic and attainable, all from the settings themselves to the clothes by Rouje which have taken a much more forward style to them and don’t steer away from the original clothing ideas and patterns from earlier collections.
