I recently started re-reading the finishing school books because I cleaned my room and finally found my copy of Etiquette and Espionage. Bean is having lots of fun chewing on the cover and pouncing on the pages whenever I try to turn them!

Yooooooo I just finished The Heroine’s Journey by Gail Carriger and it was so good!!! I don’t read a ton of non-fiction, especially not about writing, but  I picked this book up because I love Gail Carriger’s writing (I’ve read most of her Parasolverse and I’m planning on reading her other series eventually) and it was definitely worth it! Would highly recommend to “writers, readers, and fans of pop culture” as it says on the cover.

so i ordered a series of books that i've been meaning to re-read but i got them secondhand off ebay and one of the books got here yesterday but it's the FOURTH one in a series of 4 so yeah, i am impatient for the rest of them to get here (if anyone is wondering it's the Custard Protocol series by Gail Carriger, which is the only part of the Parasolverse that's been missing from my collection.)
