Unpopular opinion but painkillers should be more easily and readily available to people who need them without all the red tape and "oh but what if you get addicted" oh but what if i live the rest of my life in pain.. not that it matters right?

We don't talk enough about how fluctuating needs don't only mean day-by-day. They can change pretty rapidly throughout the each day. Hour-by-hour, or even within minutes!
Anyways this lack of acknowledgement caused me to feel a little strange in the beginning because there was just no representation for my experience! Even though it should go without saying, the way a lot of people present having fluctuating needs is as if they know exactly what their limits for the day will be first thing in the morning when they wake up and that's just Not Me.
So, I'm here to let you know that you're valid for needing to make adjustments to your accommodations throughout your day, and it's okay that you can't predict the future daily. Just be prepared and make sure nobody gives you shit for it, not even yourself!!

(Ibuprofen, NS, and Aspirin are all NSAIDs)
I am both curious and trying to figure out if what I use is typically most effective.

I see a lot of people (rightfully) complaining about their sciatica, and I know many of these people might not be able to see physical therapists or doctors for various reasons, so it’s time to learn about the sciatic nerve glide! This will help with numbness, and also some pain, and it’s super easy. It’s technically a stretch.
Instructions
Sit with the affected leg stretched out a bit with your heel on the floor, foot is angled upwards.
This sounds weird for a back stretch, but lean over.
With your heel still on the floor, angle your foot up and down like pushing on a pedal.
Sometimes you will feel a stretch in your muscles, but this is stretching and moving your nerve. This has helped me bring feeling back into my leg.
As with any stretch, don’t do it too quickly, or for too long, and listen to your body.

its not talked about enough but i realized that i can talk about it. so here i am.
breast soreness when your period is upcoming? happens.
cervical headaches when your period is late? happens.
jumping from a large appetite one day to no appetite at all the next? happens.
but again, if any of the symptoms are troubling you or are new to you, PLEASE visit a doctor. consider it a normal checkup, but please go. take care of yourself because in most cases, you simply dont tell anyone. how much is too much pain? every pain, is simply pain. less pain or more pain doesnt change the fact that its PAIN. PERIOD.

I was wondering if you might have had a similar experience to me after getting a spinal cord stimulator? A lot of people in my life assumed my pain was "cured" and it took a lot of months to get people to stop treating me like I was suddenly abled just bc I had a computer in my back. I'm thinking this probably isn't an isolated experience
Oh, shoot. Hello! I just saw this. But yeah I had a similar experience. It doesn't help how the reps and doctors push the narrative that a majority of patients experience like 80% pain relief, so everyone in my life was hoping for that. (But luckily my past failed surgery and only semi-successful back surgeries previous did help their expectations a little.) My spinal cord stimulator definitely helps, but I'm still in a lot of pain on a daily basis. Still disabled and all that.

Mixed signs, a tangled web, emotions swirling, heartache's ebb. I try to let go, though it's tough, loving you, knowing it's not enough.
I want to be the one, in your gaze, yet you've moved on, leaving me in a haze. You came and went, like a gust of wind, here, me in tears, it hurts within.
I thought you were different, special, and profound, but you also left me, feeling down. Seeing you with her, it cuts so deep, what did she have, that I couldn't keep?
