Haaaappy Litha!!! Honestly, there was no ship besides Moanida I could use for the summer solstice. Like bonfires are a big thing for summer, and like...is Merida NOT the human embodiment of a bonfire??? Like the hair??? The ire??? The REBELLION??? And Motunui and the South Pacific in general is like...THE place you think of when you think of summer. And they’re both such high-energy, passionate people, they just ABSOLUTELY have the summeriest vibes I’ve ever seen.

I actually highkey love how this came out and I’ve been super excited to post it!!! Especially the mango popsicles, like man...don’t tell me they WOULDN’T eat those! I like to think that when Merida visits Motunui (or hell, maybe she’d just MOVE there), they make their own popsicles out of the local fruit and they taste SUPER good because they’re literally as fresh as you can possibly get!

At first I wasn’t crazy about the blue outline, but...it kinda grew on me??? It’s surprisingly relaxing to look at. Kinda has ocean/seashore vibes.

Pagan Holiday Shipping Moodboard Project #6--Lughnasadh Ramaari Haaaaappy Lughnasadh!!!

I gotta say, I’m actually really happy Raya and the Last Dragon came out the year I did my pagan holiday shipping moodboard thing because like...I legit had no idea what ship to do for Lughnasadh. But RatLD has a lot of food symbolism (e.g. the Tom Yum with the ingredients from all the different nations being a symbol for unity and trust and whatnot) and just generally having people celebrate and bond over food a lot (including smol Raya and Namaari initally, swordfighting with those pork ball sticks like the dorks they are!), and Lughnasadh is supposed to be all about the fall harvest and gathering food for everyone, so it’s lowkey perfect. And we got some Moana x Merida energy going on for Litha, but I’m always down to add more sapphics to the lineup!!!

I gotta say, Disney may be an evil megaconglomerate these days, but I’ll still grateful to them for giving us lesbian-coded SE Asian characters. I think that’s pretty neat!!! Diversity, bitch!!! Like sure, they didn’t have the balls to say they’re gay explicitly, but whatever--I’ll fish for scraps XD Kelly Marie Tran you absolute QUEEN thank you for just saying fuck it and being like “Yeah Raya’s a lesbian and she’s into Namaari that’s just how it is.” Like you’re RIGHT!!! And it’s glorious!!!

Also y’all ain’t gonna BELIEVE how hard it was to find a picture of someone who looked like Namaari IRL with her haircut, like!!! All the girls that popped up when I searched up the undercut aesthetic were white and it was SO frustrating -_____- BUT I’m fairly happy with the pics I ended up finding, so...happy ending, I guess? I mean I wish her skintone was darker but you can’t have everything I guess

Pagan Holiday Shipping Moodboard Project #4--Beltane Sweet Tooth (Bunnymund x Toothiana)

WHAT UP WHAT UPPP

Hope y’all don’t mind that I missed actual Mayday by a couple days XD ANYWAYS I almost put these two for Ostara, but I figured Bunnymund’s whole spring/hope motif and Tooth’s bright, summery personality fits plenty well for Beltane, too.

These two are highkey so CUTE!!! I mean, I’m always Soft for the whole “The Grumpy One Is Weak For The Sunshine One” trope, and that’s these two to a T. They honestly balance each other out really well, and Bunny DOES certainly seem to have kind of a soft spot for her. And she always gives him the benefit of the doubt, despite the grumpiness! Tooth works a lot better with Bunnymund than with Jack, I think--she seems more like a mom figure or a fun aunt to Jack than anything. Besides, shipping a giant bunny with a hummingbird lady is far from the weirdest interspecies ship I’ve had XD (Remember in Shrek how A DONKEY FUCKED A DRAGON???)

I lowkey love how this one came out!!! So cheery <3 Had to throw a jacaranda tree in there because a) the purplish tree in Tooth’s palace courtyard (over where the pool is) looks like it could lowkey be that and b) they start blooming around this time of year in California and I couldn’t resist <3 Honestly was delighted when the aesthetic program I use auto-generated that pink border--very spring-esque! I’m really excited for the next one--I made it in advance already because I got hyped XD I think y’all are really gonna like it!

Happy Mabon!!!

Come now, you knew this pairing had to be coming XD You didn’t really think I was going to do a whole long moodboard project for my favorite CGI animation ships and not include my OTP, did you???

But well worth the wait, I think!!! Honestly I can’t imagine a more perfect vibe for Hiccanna. I was considering doing them for early spring (maybe Beltane) but honestly, they have more Autumnal Energy to me. I mean, Anna’s got the ginger hair and her very fall-centered outfits and aesthetics in Frozen 2, and ain’t no one telling me in a modern AU she WOULDN’T be a Pumpkin Spice Bitch who crams her instagram with pictures of her jumping in leaf piles, going apple-picking, and sitting around in pumpkin patches every October XD As for Hiccup, I often see him as an autumn spirit of sorts in RotBTD Four Season Spirit AUs, and it kinda fits, since he spearheaded a major change in his society and all that. Plus, his kinda mellow, easygoing personality still supplemented with lots of subtle snark and stubbornness kind of has autumnal vibes as well, idk.

alSO CAT TOOTHLESS WITH LEAF ON HEAD need I say more

I included not one but TWO fall drinks because Anna would be a shameless connoisseur of them and would be absolutely obnoxious about it. I know this from the depths of my very soul XD

Pagan Holiday Shipping Moodboard Project #3--Ostara Vaniro

So anyways I lowkey forget I was doing this and my dumb ass completely missed actual Ostara (March 20) like a total dweeb, so I did the next best thing and posted 2 days after Easter instead XD

Man, it was honestly such a debate whether to use Vaniro or Sweet Tooth for Ostara. I ultimately decided on Hiro x Vanellope because the cherry blossom motif in San Fransokyo (which bloom right around Ostara, IIRC) and Vanellope’s general sweets and candy motif just have a very early spring kinda vibe, idk. And Bunnymund’s whole “hope and new life” thing and Tooth’s kinda bright, summery personality can work for later spring too, so I’m saving them for mayday!

Also please don’t flay me for shipping this!!! D: I’ve seen Vaniro/Hirellope shippers get a lot of flak so I just wanna emphasize that I ONLY ship them in an AU where Van is aged up a bit and she and Hiro are the same age. Even their canon age gap, as I understand it, is only about 4-5 years (and even then, Vanellope’s age is pretty damn vague because she’s a video game character so who even knows???), which ain’t really a big deal later in life. I understand if you don’t like the ship--it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay, I understand couples with canonically large age gaps can weird some people out. But please just blacklist the ship tags and move on, no need to bash when you can just ignore it.

Idk man I just feel like they’d have such epic chemistry and sass battles if they ever met (and again, this is in an AU where they’re around the same age lol), and I’m never NOT a sucker for those Smart Guy x Energetic Girl pairings (Hiccanna anyone?). That, and Hiro kinda needs someone to keep that ego in check, and Vanellope would never let him get too cocky XD Also I’m pretty sure I read in some BH6 supplementary material that Hiro canonically got bullied for his intelligence when he was in school, so he could relate to Van on the whole bullying thing too.

Also ALSO they could both be a bit autistic-coded imo??? I LOVE the idea of them connecting because of that. Valid if you don’t see it though--I think it’s pretty subtle for both.

Hey, uh...remember me??? That kid who used to actually POST???

I’m so sorry I’ve been so dead on this account!!! I’m trying to ride out a hyperfixation that seized absolute COMPLETE hold of me in early January, so I’m admittedly taking a bit of a breather from the RotBTD+ fandom. Not because I don’t still love it!!! I’m sure I’ll be back I just gotta obsess over a yaoi pairing in another fandom for a while first XD

BEHOLD, another RotBTD ship I like!!! I miss Eugene x Elsa, honestly :( I remember when it was such a popular side pairing to Jackunzel, and now that the “Elsa is gay” headcanon is so widespread I rarely see it anymore. Not that I DON’T support the “Elsa is gay” take, but...I like to think she’d be straight for Eugene Fitzherbert and absolutely NO ONE else XD

I chose them for Imbolc because if I associate Jack with the middle of winter and the winter solstice, I definitely associate Elsa more with the end of winter. Partly because her whole arc in the first movie is learning how to thaw the winter she accidentally caused and bring back the warmth, and partly because Eugene could help her be a LITERAL Defrosting Ice Queen! Pun very much intended XD

This one was a lot of fun to make!!! I love the pic I found for Elsa’s hair...I don’t know how to fully articulate what Imbolc Energy feels like, but that pic definitely has it. Also very much a fan of the melting ice over the stream pic, and the ice crown <3

Geddit Flynn’s pouch is full of silver coins instead of gold coins because something something it matches the ice winter aesthetic better than gold

Pagan Holiday Shipping Moodboard Project #1--Yule Jackunzel

Happy first day of Yule!

Hey all! This is the very first in a new moodboard project I’m doing! So I’ve recently gotten more into pagan holidays and the pagan holiday wheel in general, and I’ve decided that just for the hell of it, I’m going to make a moodboard for one of the CGI crossover couples I like for each pagan holiday on the wheel!

First up is Yule--and what better ship to use for the Winter Solstice than Jackunzel??? I mean, Jack is basically the embodiment of winter, and Punzel I imagine absolutely loves the holidays, what with all the pretty lights, excuses to bake sugar cookies, and general festivities!

Fun fact--that’s a hazelnut yule log cake! My headcanon is that Rapunzel is an absolute FIEND for anything hazelnut-flavored, and will use basically any excuse to bake with nutella. Or eat it straight out of the jar, that works too XD (Hey, it’s not like this has no canon basis--she DOES like hazelnut soup!)
