Emmerdale 16.11.23 Part 2

Following his earlier spat with Billy, Aaron now is sat alone in the café ,subdued, as Paddy comes in and asks Aaron if he's been fighting with Billy again, knowing the answer by the look on his face.

Paddy suggests to Aaron he needs friends, Aaron denies he needs anyone. Paddy says he needs someone to talk too besides young Eve, only having Eve to talk to as not being good for him as well as his isolation. he tells Aaron he'd like him to talk to him, he misses him.

Aaron questions why?

Aaron is thoughtful as he takes in Paddy's kind & gentle approach.

Aaron takes in Paddy's support and he offers Paddy to join him for a coffee as it looks like they are getting back on track.

I just think of Robert hatred for Lawrence and Paddy, I think probably down to his own daddy issues and these guys dote on Aaron and Chrissie and make Robert feel not good enough probably reminds him of Jack and how he was passed aside for a none blood relation who was a violent thug who killed nearly most the family etc. Plus he also go on Chas and Paddy fighting Aaron battles for him, how he always brings up Jackson and Adam. I think resents he never has this unwavering love from anyone, He thought found it in Aaron for even Aaron to turn his back on him. :(

I wonder if ED will do a custody case with Paddy and Chas?

And if they do, will they have Aaron come back to testify for Paddy against Chas?

I mean Aaron knows better than anyone the trauma that Chas can cause. And they left Aaron and Chas on “dead to me” terms when he left.

Plus Paddy took Aaron in, cared for him and raised him, a lot of the reason Aaron is the man he is today is because of Paddy as an influence.

Emmerdale 13.11.23 Part 3

As Aaron and Billy were engaged with chirping at each other they have taken their eyes of the kids for just a moment. Eve cries out and accuses Lucas of pushing her. He denies it & Clemmie backs his version of events. As Aaron & Billy rush over.

As things are on the brink of kicking off, Aaron is in defensive big brother mode, he calls Lucas a brat prompting Billy to try & diffuse the situation as Paddy returns, Billy insists Eve is fine & Billy takes his kids home away from an angry Aaron.

Aaron scowls & is seething as Billy and his kids make a hasty exit away from him. Brooding over what just happened & the put downs Billy had said to him.

Mack rang Aaron to find out when he was bringing Isla back.

"I can't. Not yet Mack" Aaron replied "We've got a panic on, Paddy's gone missing and mum is out of her mind with worry"

"I'm coming round" said Mack.

"Moira" said Mack as he saw his sister coming out of Amy's on his way to the pub "I thought it was Kyle's hearing today"

"It was but its been postponed and there is a good chance the charges will all be dropped" Moira explained.

"That's great news" said Mack giving his sister a kiss "Did you hear about Paddy?"

"Yes. Cain and everyone are out looking for him" said Moira.

Mack went into the pub where Aaron was waiting with Isla.

"I'm glad you've come Mack I'm staying here in case Paddy comes back" said Aaron "I've ran out of feeds for Isla she's just had the last one"

"I'll nip to Erics" said Mack. "He stocks the ones she has"

"Great news" said Matty who was in the shop when Mack arrived. "About Kyle"

"The best" said Mack "I've just seen Moira she's over the moon. I'm just hoping my custody hearing goes as well as Kyle's court hearing"

"Mack if I tell you something will you keep it to yourself?" Matty asked.

"Of course" said Mack "What is it?"

"Amy is going to put in for sole custody of Kyle" said Matty.

"No she can't" said Mack "It will kill Moira and I love that kid as if he were my own and God knows what Cain will do"

"Well you can imagine how I feel stuck in the middle" said Matty. "And you must be going through hell Mack, hoping your custody hearing goes in your favour"

"It would kill me if I lost Isla" Mack replied.

"Mack don't tell my mum what I've just told you as I'm trying to talk Amy out of it" said Matty.

"I won't I promise" said Mack. "Don't worry Matty life is complicated enough without making things worse"

"What kept you?" said Aaron

"I got talking to Matty" said Mack "Great news about Kyle"

"Yes it is. Mack Is it OK if I keep Isla another night Mack?" Aaron asked "I'm worried sick about Paddy and looking after Isla takes my mind off it"

"If it helps" said Mack "But I want her back tomorrow Aaron. I hope Paddy is found and is OK. I know how much he means to you"

"Thanks" said Aaron "It's not looking good. He left notes and its freaked mum out"

"Suicide notes?" asked Mack

"Yes" Aaron replied wiping a tear away.

"Aaron I love you" Mack said putting his arms around his boyfriend to comfort him "Do you want me to stay with you?"

"It's OK Mack" Aaron replied "You go to the bar Belle's on her own shes making sandwiches for everyone and could do with some help"

"You will bring Isla back won't you Aaron?" said Mack feeling nervous after what Matty had told him.

"Of course you numpty" said Aaron "Do you think I'm going to do a runner with her?"

"No" said Mack feeling nervous "I was talking to Matty about the custody hearing and the thought of losing my daughter has unnerved me"

"Come here you big softie" said Aaron giving Mack a reassuring hug. 'No one is taking your baby away from you and of course I'll bring her back tomorrow. That's if Bear will let me, he's smitten"

"I'd best get to the bar to help Belle she's just sent me a text" said Mack "See you tomorrow Aaron. I love you"
