just sharing my thoughts here, but I still feel connected to the name Danny & I still imagine myself going by that name. I think the sudden change I made felt very forced & I would need to ease myself into it. Additionally, I don't *dislike* my own name Holly. I love it I think it's such a great name & it suits me well. But I've stopped wearing my name tag at work because whenever people see or hear that name they immediately assign me the gender 'female' in their minds. With the name Danny, strangers would be less eager to gender me maybe?? But then it's like. am I doing this to make me happy or doing this for others. It's kind of both? It's the same thing with binding really. I love my boobs but I flatten them in public. I don't know if I will ever fully change my name. Danny is more like my secret alter-ego. This sort of character I can play sometimes. Maybe Danny can be a nickname. Really at the end of the day I just wish people would stop calling me ma'am.

I don’t know if I can feel excited for them that they found someone else when they broke my heart when they left me and never contacted me again. I thought that maybe they were the one. I was depressed and crying every night on and off for months. I want to just move on, but I wanted real closure and that kind of hurt doesn’t just go away so quickly. It’s one of those times where I wish we had never met because then I wouldn’t have known them to miss.
