“Es ist als Trainer unheimlich angenehm, wenn ein Sportdirektor eine solche Präsenz hat, beim Training dabei und immer eng an der Mannschaft ist. Arne erlebt die Mannschaft Tag für Tag, weiß genau, was wir wann und warum als Trainerteam machen und kann auch direkt Dinge ansprechen, die er anders sieht. Wir haben nicht immer die gleiche Meinung, aber dieser ehrliche Austausch und die Einschätzung von einem Sportdirektor, der hautnah dran ist, hilft uns! Arne hat viel Respekt für jeden einzelnen Profi und lebt Hertha BSC. Die Zusammenarbeit mit ihm macht Spaß.”
