Okay but running with the Nemeton-created-Eli theory is just. Scary as hell but also really funny. Like imagine Stiles and Derek both feeling drawn out to the tree stump, confused as hell as to why they feel like they HAVE to get there, only to find baby Eli full on baby-in-a-basket-style.

So they take him to the station because duh they need to figure out who his parents are, so they run his dna but since his eyes flared they keep it quiet since they don’t think a social worker can handle a werewolf baby

And just who’s dna gets pinged?? None other than the (exonerated) murder suspect Derek Hale AND the delinquent sheriffs son Stiles Stilinski (who’s dad once booked him to try and scare him after he first stole the Jeep when he was like 14 (which definitely did not work))

Noah just reads the results, sighs so hard he nearly breaks something, and then goes to Derek’s loft where he and Stiles are babysitting the kid, and he can hear the bickering and sarcasm before he’s even through the front door

*then Stiles and Derek go on to raise Eli, Stiles decides he doesn’t want to be in the FBI and instead opens up a private investigation business specialising in supernatural shit, they buy a house together, they fall in love, Noah has flashbacks to raising Stiles whenever he babysits Eli and Derek has a family that loves him*

On the topic of Hell's Best Dad

So in the wake of those latest two episodes dropping, I have seen a ton of speculation on Al's motivations for his beef with Lucifer. A vast majority of these theories say that he is playing up his affection for Charlie just as a way to get under her Dad's skin and also to manipulate her.

After giving it some thought, I'm sticking with the Occam's Razor Theory:

He was jealous/insecure.

From what we- the audience- have seen of Alastor, we know that he loves attention. This is especially so when it happens via making others lose their composure. The only time (outside of episode 5) we've see him get riled up is when he gets brushed off by Carmilla at the overlord's meeting. He wants other people to notice him, to care, to think he's mysterious, etc. He might just be the most prideful guy in the pride ring.

And part of his pride comes from what he perceives as his turf: aka the hotel. He's a business partner. He named it. He has his radio tower on the side. He's the de facto protector/handyman/whatever else they need from him.

So imagine how he felt when he found out that his business partner (who for the past 5 months relied on him when she needed a powerful, demonic, heavy hitter) suddenly decided to bring in somebody else to help her. Somebody way stronger, who can give her things that he can't, like a meeting with Heaven.

Girl, of course this messy bitch was mad!

I do think that during the song, he played up the whole 'father/daughter' dynamic between him and Charlie to piss Lucifer off, but I also believe that the underlying emotion was genuine. 'I hate that Charlie is looking to someone else to help her with the hotel'.

I also think that's why he was so much calmer after the shark attack. During the final number, he could be seen in the background, but he didn't look nearly as furious as he did at the beginning. I think that this was because he had just come in from defending the hotel and being the one to save it for Charlie. Dude just wanted a chance to show off and be recognized.

I could be entirely off base with this, but until contrary evidence presents itself, this is what I will be believing. Underneath his snark and insults, Alastor enjoys being Charlie's right-hand man and guards that position fiercely.
