lost phineas and ferb episode where perry is called to investigate what dr doofenshmirtz is up to because carl the intern got ahold of some intel that doof has been seen speaking to lawyers and looking up the endangered species act at internet cafes and as major monogram says, "something fishy is going on"
meanwhile phineas and ferb's subplot of "i know what we're gonna do today!" is that isabella needs her environmentalist fireside girls badge so they start researching which species are in urgent need of help in the tri-state area so that they can use new cloning and gene therapy technologies to bring at-risk animals back from extinction
(yes there is a c-plot where buford and baljeet argue the ethics of this idea, i don't have time to explain it all for you rn)
we cut back to🎵doofenshmirtz evil incorporated🎵where we see perry carefully maneuvering around doofenshmirtz's lab scared he might fall into a trap but he hasn't set off a single booby trap and it's clear something is off
he runs into doofenshmirtz and goes to kick him in the gut action movie style but doof steps back one overly confident and says, "nuh uh uh, you see perry the platypus, you are TRAPPED! by the danville section of the endangered species act of 1973!"
doof goes on to explain his tragic backstory: "you see, perry the platypus, when i was a child my parents did not show up for my own birth! but you know that already, yadda yadda yadda they did not love me and then they loved roger more, ANYways i was raised by ocelots! i had a lovely foster mother who took me in and made me one of the pride, and so you see, perry the platypus, i am still legally considered an ocelot. did you know that there are only 50 recorded ocelots still alive in the continental united states? very sad for me as a member of a near-extinct species. it would be immoral for you to hurt someone critically endangered... in fact, you have made many attempts on my life this summer"
[montage of doof's security camera footage of their battles]
"which is why i have decided to bring you... TO COURT!" we cut back to phineas and ferb's back yard where they've decided to start cloning ocelots in their kiddie pool
candace storms outside enraged and says, "phineas and ferb are you cloning ocelots in my duckie momo kiddie pool!?"
ferb's one line of the episode is "well, i guess it's more of a kitty pool, now"
candace storms away saying, "i'm going to tell mom!" and isabella turns to phineas and says, "oh, does your mom have experience in wildlife conservation?"
we cut back to the doof and perry plotline where the two are now in the danville hall of justice and we learn that doof has spent his monthly alimony check on a defense lawyer and perry turns and sees the lawyer and then vanessa helping her organize her briefcase and perry chitters at her and vanessa shrugs and says, "i'm thinking about going into legal defense. sorry perry."
the rest of the doof and perry b-plot is spent in court and perry is about to ask for a public defense lawyer when carl runs into the room and explains that he's owca's official legal defense and perry looks at him like, "uhhh is that even allowed?"
it doesn't matter because apparently the judge is out sick today but because it's danville roger's the judge now because he's the mayor and everyone loves him.
the court case continues.
meanwhile phineas and ferb have successfully cloned multiple ocelots from the original ocelot dna they had on hand and isabella asks phineas if these clones will experience health problems like premature aging, phineas casually explains that ferb figured out the problem while they were experimenting with stem cell harvesting.
back in the courtroom, doof's ocelot foster mother has been brought to the stand along with an ocelot to english translator. doof gets emotional seeing her after so long. she says that he was one of her favorite child and he was as strong a hunter as anyone else in the family. it's incredibly sweet. the jury's in tears.
meanwhile, isabella has established connections with a group in texas who are going to release the ocelots back into their natural habitat and, using the cloned ocelots to prevent inbreeding, help establish an ocelot breeding program. the group explains that they are going to send a helicopter to retrieve the cloned ocelots from danville and bring them to texas soon.
isabella gets her fireside girls badge.
candace manages to get mom to see the backyard only after the ocelots have been helicoptered off to coastal texas, their primary habitat.
mom makes it into the backyard as phineas stares wistfully over the fence and says, "if you love something, you have to let it go." candace goes, "look mom look look look!" and points at the ducky momo kiddie pool, devoid of cloned ocelots, where baljeet and buford are now chilling out, having settled their philosophical debate about the ethics of animal cloning.
back in the courtroom drama, doof looks like he's about to win when an attendant walks into the courtroom and whispers something in roger's ear.
roger looks up, grinning, and says, "good news, everyone! my attendant here has just enlightened me that ocelots are no longer considered critically endangered!"
this settles the case, with perry being decreed not guilty and the entire affair being called off. the courtroom cheers, roger walks over to doof and personally congratulates him on his species' return from the brink of extinction.
doof shouts, "curse you endangered species classification system!" at the ceiling of the danville hall of justice.
perry arrives back home just in time for mom to say, "who wants pie?"
the end.

the dwampyverse and all its timelines
welcome to the analysis i've been promising for like two years! this will be phineas and ferb centric simply due to the sheer amount of episodes compared to milo murphy's law and hamster and gretel. with the inclusion of hamster and gretel, i will admit this has gotten a little less easy to navigate, but i'm hoping with a bit of analysis and suspension of belief, it'll be okay. ready? lets go!
the best way i can describe this first part is by providing a visual of how i see it. and using a three-circle venn diagram makes perfect sense with all of the overlapping and individual parts.
Tumblr media
so - pictured above is said venn diagram. each part is its own timeline. ones where each show is their own timeline, ones where pnf/mml overlap, mml/hng overlap, pnf/hng overlaps and the one right in the centre where they all overlap. this doesnt include timelines where "endings" are separate (read: quantum boogaloo, act your age, doof 101, owca files... any ending that isnt last day of summer. but i'll get to those ones later). make sense?
1. where only phineas and ferb exists.
this works best before 2015. this timeline is the one that has zero murphy crumbs on it. dan and swampy haven’t yet had the idea of doing a show about a kid with awful luck and time travelling shenanigans. this is the most nostalgic timeline, for phineas has reigned over the disney channel cartoons for eight years. the lumberzacks dont exist, hamster and gretel dont save danville each week. pnf is its own show. no other shows have an influence on it.
adding to this - if you ignore any of the alternate timeline episodes and stop at last day of summer, you get my personal favourite way of watching the show. this one is basically just ignoring owca files, doof 101, all of mml and most importantly - act your age. I love the idea of an open book ending for these characters, especially for ones we saw on our tvs for over eight years [when it aired]. the events that take place after last day of summer are simply giving an idea of what COULD happen to our beloved cast, and without them, they really make no impact on the original story. the events before the end of summer are in no way impacted by the other alternate ending episodes.
2. where both phineas and ferb and milo murphy’s law exists
this is the canon, everything-exists-all-at-the-same-time timeline, pre-hamster and gretel. every piece of context works together, and everything is all connected. everything is canon! everyone is friends with each other! the pnf effect works! doof moves in with the murphy's, and this timeline is basically if you watched pnf and mml chronologically, without any of the alt ending episodes (in case you forgot which ones: quantum boogaloo, act your age, doof 101 and the owca files). this is the one i think we're all familiar with - it also includes candace against the universe (mostly uh... broadly speaking, the lumberzacks are the only mml thing in there).
3. where only milo murphy’s law exists
a timeline where pnf and hng are nonexistent. this timeline would probably exclude anything past season one, really. the crossover would not work. maybe even in this timeline the pistachions take over everything and the human characters cease to exist. (eleanor shellstrop this is the bad place!.jpeg) this further pushes the point (that I haven’t made - I’ve been thinking it I just haven’t said it lmao) that you can’t have milo murphys law without phineas and ferb. the crossover plot proves it. both in the real world AND in mml.
4. where just hamster and gretel exists
this one is a little hard to explain, especially since hng has only just finished its first season. there are a few pnf references in this show but it stands on its own feet much more than mml did. i think the likelihood of hng existing in its own timeline works a lot better than mml - but the chance of there being a surprise crossover is moderately high. like i said, it's a little hard to analyse this since its that much more removed from its predecessors.
5. where milo murphy’s law and hamster and gretel exist
this is a very unlikely scenario, but there is a chance a timeline like this exists somewhere. it’s a bit difficult to analyse or even prove since there haven’t been any kind of references or even characters that pop up in hng from mml. I wouldn’t expect the opposite either, considering that mml ended in 2019 and hng didn’t exist until after that, so hng within mml is basically impossible without a third season.
these last two timelines make a lot less sense, especially since hng still has stories to tell and we havent seen mml characters there yet (well... unless you count doof. hes technically a mml character, right? as much as some of us dislike that fact? haha. ahahaha.)
6. where phineas and ferb and hamster and gretel exists
this one works. i think it’s basically how dtva thinks it works (basically completely ignoring mml’s entire existence lmao) but this is basically the canon timeline of hng currently. but we’ll wait and see if there’s a crossover.
7. where all of phineas and ferb, milo murphy’s law and hamster and gretel exist all at once
like I say, a surprise crossover could happen (but based off what happened with the pnf effect I can’t even imagine how messy this would get) so yes, they could exist all at once. and they probably do, just that hng is a lot further removed from its predecessors in terms of references and characters popping up out of nowhere (doof and his inators don’t seem to have much importance yet, but who knows how it’ll end). this timeline, basically, is for those who don’t really mind that everything’s in a collective universe, and it seems like the easiest one to comprehend if you aren’t pedantic about all of this.
but what about the episodes where timelines end?
you’re probably here thinking okay, so what? there’s different timelines. this isn’t news. what about the other individual episodes that are within the umbrella timeline? I like to think of them as individual timelines within the show, along with all the other ones mentioned above.
quantum boogaloo
timelines have been a thing pretty much since season 2 of phineas and ferb, notably in the episode quantum boogaloo where they go forward in time and see a potential future where stacy is the president of uruguay. this is an example of something ‘canonically’ happening after last day of summer, 20 years in the future. this episode has a couple of potential timelines - the one where everything is fine, and the one where doof is emperor and everyone is named joe. the first timeline has candace ending up with jeremy and having three kids, along with ferb at camp david and phineas at an awards ceremony in switzerland. however, this particular timeline doesnt match up equally with act your age, since their ages dont line up. in quantum boogaloo, pnf are aged 30 twenty years later, in aya, pnf are aged 18 ten years later. this means they could either be 8 or 10 in the original summer, depending on the timeline. the second one is pretty much null to me since they time travel back and both of the future timelines cancel out.
doof 101
so. this is an episode i havent seen for a while. however, this is one of the perfect examples since the theme for doof 101 says "and this all takes place in fall so don't let the timeline throw you" like hiiii thank you for acknowledging that this is a separate timeline! there's a short bit in the title that shows doof facing either prison time or teaching at the high school in court, and its something we don't see the events leading up to. sure, he's done crimes against humanity but there weren't ever any consequences during the show. who turned him in? why is he on trial? what happened between him being evil and becoming a high school science teacher? and why does this monobrow edward rooney ass guy have beef with him and charlene out of nowhere? timelines, dude. got me stressed out and its not even my show.
act your age
[through gritted teeth] this episode also shows another potential canonical ending for the cast. phineas ends up with isabella 10 years after last day of summer, showing that this particular timeline has the kids aged around 8 or 9 in the original summer. we all know my thoughts on this particular ending, notably posted here. this timeline is easy to ignore if you dislike it, like the majority of us.
what does line up with the original summer, however, is doof's b-plot in act your age. I'm not a huge hater of his arc in this episode, and honestly, it might be his most in-character timeline ending out of all of them. yes, you heard me, theres something i dont dislike about act your age. like i said in the post linked above, i dont find it hard to believe he would bowl with perry and carl and monogram every week. he would totally have a mid-life crisis that wasn't real, like this guy canonically can't even hate christmas. this is so in character for him! in terms of it being a different timeline though, the only proof i have is that it's one of many different timeline ending episodes.
last day of summer
this episode is kinda like a flagship for the timelines, and as mentioned above, my favourite ending. i don’t think I need to reiterate it, but it really just provides an open ending for the entire cast, and makes room for anything else to happen. I’m curious to see how it pans out in the reboot; if they keep the continuity and acknowledge that ldos happened, or if they just kinda skip over it if it’s true that the new seasons will happen in the summer after the original one. but don’t worry - if the reboot adds any kind of canon divergence (I’m literally counting on it) You Will Certainly Hear From Me About It. lol
the owca files
I'll admit i haven't watched owca files for a number of years but i still remember bits of it. its a very strange timeline to me. i understand that doof is legally an ocelot and can be an agent but it does feel like the beginning of that out-of-characterness he displays in mml. and i guess the owca files is canon there, right? the bit with monogram during the pnf effect?
this also includes the pine tree. it feels like a way of letting us know owca files is in a different timeline. the flynn-fletcher house gets blown up, they get new plates, and we have symbolism of the end of an era with a pine tree in their backyard.
milo murphy's law
this one in particular is mostly just the pnf/mml overlap but ensures that doof ends up as professor time. if you've seen mml i don't think i need to explain it - after last day of summer (and owca files if ur nasty) the events of mml occur chronologically as if its one continuous timeline.
wait! what about the other canon divergent episodes?
ones that aren’t necessarily an ending but are set smack bang in the middle of the show with no explanation? don’t worry. I got you.
phineas and ferb christmas vacation
this episode features doof being evil in the middle of winter. dan povenmire has said he relapsed, but this is a perfect example of different timelines. a lot of the “ending” episodes were written and aired well before last day of summer so the chance of them knowing how the show was going to end was likely very little, if not zero. so, let’s imagine that last day of summer doesn’t happen. none of that arc happens, it’s just doof being passively evil throughout the year and then this christmas event happens. i don’t think he ever stopped being evil in this timeline. the chance of him just getting less… violent with his schemes is probably the best way of thinking about it. hell, he got perry a present. yes, it was a vase, but would the s1 heinz have done that? probably not. he’s definitely less evil as the show progresses, and even an episode like this one that aired in season 2 shows how quickly they turned it around.
on the other hand - the boys make their santa clubhouse invention and candace stresses what to get jeremy as a gift. does she try and bust them? surprisingly, no. her main focus is jeremy, and when it all goes south she’s in on what the boys are doing when santas elves show up. she mentions “what’s different this year than last year?”, insinuating that the boys weren’t inventing anything before the summer that the show is set in, and that this episode is definitely set after that summer. the B plot is definitely more solid proof of the alternate timeline, with heinz “relapsing” although I struggle to believe that with all the canon divergency that happens within the show and in mml/hng the chances of it just being a relapse are very remote.
that’s the spirit!
this one is similar in that it diverges from our last day of summer ending. doof is still evil, and candace - wait, she doesn’t even try and bust them. she’s keen to trick or treat with the gang and then go to jeremy’s party. she doesn’t even try and bust them. (man, it’s almost like it’s another timeline or something.)
back to doof though - he might have relapsed like in the christmas vacation episode, but he’s not necessarily evil here either. sure, he declared war on grass for an unknown reason and turned himself into a were-cow, but it’s not established that he wants to take over the tri state area like usual. if anything, it’s the opposite. he runs from the masses like it’s a witch hunt.
the curse of candace
this episode is all fine until the end where candace turns to dust and phineas says "we're gonna need a dustpan and some glue." there isnt much else to say about this one, but it indicates another timeline where candace is glued back together afterwards. and she’s also a vampire.
happy new year!
this is set after the summer the show is set in, considering that jeremy and coltrane are at the party as candace and stacy's respective dates. doof is still evil as his plot is to become ruler of the tri-state area. candace makes one last attempt at busting her brothers. this is definitely another timeline, and also apparently one where gangnam style exists. pretty easy to understand - doof doesnt have his giving-up-evil arc and continues to be passively evil like always. this could also work chronologically with christmas vacation, where he tries his naughty-inator and then a week later comes up with the resolution-changer-inator. candace's arc is a little different, she could have stayed consistent and tried to bust the boys from summer onwards, only getting to new years and wanting to change her ways with a new years resolution.
for your ice only
evil doof is back again in the fourteen days of winter vacation that fall between christmas and new years'. for him, this could be an evil scheme that takes place at some point in between christmas vacation and new years, or it could be its own timeline altogether. candace also attempts to bust the boys again, as per usual.
what's interesting about this one though, is the fact they refer back to football x7 when talking about hockey z9. and you're probably thinking 'obviously? whats ur point' and yes. obviously they bring up the original episode when referencing the sport with the same name format. but this also implies its in the same timeline as the football x7 game, meaning there's at least two timelines that divert off my fair goalie - one that doesn't include hockey z9 and one that does (this episode). and this one (i'm circling back) includes evil doof. bam!
escape from phineas tower
what! this is a normal episode, right? if that was your reaction upon reading that subtitle, you'd be thinking the same as me, until you remember the ending where the tower extends its forcefield around the entire milky way galaxy. but here's where things get really interesting. what film, may i ask, has a plot where the ensemble cast has to fly to another planet to rescue two other ensemble cast members? thats right, candace against universe! this means that catu is set in a timeline that doesn't include the escape from phineas tower episode, since they're able to exit the milky way galaxy and enter the vroblok cluster. this would be impossible if it were in the same timeline as this episode, since they would have stopped at the dome and wouldn't have been able to get to feebla-oot.
she’s the mayor
honourable mention to this episode since it features time travel and timeline fuckery and I never see anybody talk about it!
"Back at the golf course, Roger is astounded at how fast the game is going as Dr. Doofenshmirtz points out that the slight chance that the Accelerate-inator could destroy the very fabric of space-time and possibly the entire universe is a small price to pay to get done with the game. Perry then breaks the Accelerate-inator using a golf club, causing time to flow backwards at the exact moment when Linda and Candace are about to bust Phineas and Ferb, also undoing all of the day's events back to the announcement in City Hall and causing an alien from another universe to appear.
At City Hall, Mayor Doofenshmirtz prepares to announce the winner of the Mayor-For-A-Day Essay Contest. The alien destroys the Accelerate-inator, causing the time-line to be altered once again as the new honorary mayor is announced: the old coot and telling everyone that any gold that they find is now his, causing Candace to lament, "I was robbed."" (from the pnf wiki)
what would’ve happened if doof's machine wasn’t destroyed and set the timeline back into place? the fabric of time and space would have been destroyed, and there is a very high chance there would have been a last-day-of-summer-esque situation where everything within the void would cease to exist. right from the start of the episode, it begins with a clock chiming, so from the beginning we are made aware that time will somehow have significance, which it does. after the timeline resets, we hear the clock chime again, which lets the viewer know we're now in a different timeline. there don't seem to be any repercussions of this timeline fuckery later in the show since it doesn't get mentioned again.
night of the living pharmacists
second honourable mention goes to this ending that @momphineasandferbmadeablog reminded me of (tysm bestie) where it "ends" with stacy turning off her tv as if the entire episode was a horror film the whole time. however, even before verifying, i had a feeling it was debunked and its just the ending of the grievance film. and i was right.
"Dan Povenmire made it clear that the entire episode was canon instead of a film Stacy was watching, and that the "The End" card on Stacy's TV was merely the "The End" title card of the Grievance movie she was watching." (from the pnf wiki)
there isnt a citation for it and none of his tweets showed up while i was looking for actual proof but i definitely remember him saying it somewhere, but please, absolutely feel free to think of it as a separate timeline! without dan saying it's a canon episode, there isn't actually any proof within the episode that it isn't its own timeline.
across the second dimension/tales from the resistance: back to the second dimension
and for our third and final honourable mention, this one is basically the existence of the second dimension. I haven't added it as its own since the concept is pretty obvious - its another dimension where a different timeline occurs. i mean, idk if i need to fully explain it, if youve seen the film and the s4 episode you know what happens. it's explicitly stated to be another dimension, however the specific mention of timelines is nonexistent. semantics, yes, but i do really feel like atsd is separate from all of it.
it's certainly a timeline that could happen - doof could lose his choo-choo and eventually take over the tri-state area and the events of the film would occur, but the fact that the main characters cross over and meet each other puts it into a different category for me. but by all means, feel free to think of it as yet another timeline!
I want to specifically mention: this list of episodes is not at all an exhaustive number of timelines. the way I see it, this is just the ones that are “labelled” (for lack of a better word) as their own timelines. there can be as many or as few timelines within the dwampyverse as you like. this analysis is not a rulebook, but rather answering the conundrum with one solution out of an infinite number of possibilities.
the dwampyverse and its "current year syndrome"
i think we can all agree that phineas and ferb is a relatively timeless show, in that you could watch it at any point in the past fifteen years and it wouldn't feel particularly out of place. that being said, the technology used in the show makes it feel aged or weirdly out of time. most notably, the switch between candace having a flip phone in the first three seasons and a touch-screen phone in everything post-season four. this is clearly influenced by the smartphone boom that occurred in the 2010s when iphones became mainstream, and thus impacted everyday life, including in tv and film.
so, when the animators jumped on this trend, phineas and ferb became a lot less timeless. candace owning something like a flip phone, something that didn't even exist for a long period of time in real life, felt less like something that was trying to keep up with the times than when she suddenly appeared on screen with a smartphone. not to mention the alexa joke in candace against the universe. now that was a jumpscare.
if you did want to carbon date the summer that the show is set in, like this post did for example, and if you're like me, you might headcanon phineas and ferb's summer taking place somewhere between 2009 and 2012. the other times where they've crossed over is set whenever it makes sense. the pnf effect? i think its pretty much canon that it takes place in 2017, what with all the pop culture references like pokemon go, dabbing, and uptown funk. definitely things you can date back to that mid 2010s era.
milo murphy's law also makes sure it stays current too, like specifically mentioning the year 2016 when the lumberzacks formed, milo's bag of toothbrushes labeled 2012-2014, and king pistachion doing a selfie with everyone which is like the most 2016 thing ever. (you guys remember the oscars selfie?) there's certainly some purpose behind dating some of the events within the show, since its entire B-plot is about time travel, but it doesn't feel like its really trying to be a current show. at least, not until they have references and allusions to pop culture things like ducky mo-go.
hamster and gretel has what is unfortunately the worst display of the three - there's a lot of social media references in the show. not necessarily memes, but just a lot of display of the characters using social media. the first one that comes to mind is the destructress, where her typical Thing is her doing a livestream or some kind of story update announcement with her phone, clearly showing that this is a 2020s cartoon, and it feels the need to be very current. hell, eight year old gretel has an iphone in this show, but i won't go down the track of why that fact alone is so weird to me since it'll derail this entire analysis.
granted there are a LOT of inconsistencies throughout these three shows but the current year syndrome, although sometimes unavoidable, proves the fact there are multiple timelines - and they can be traced back to candace's flip phone.
so, what do we do with this?
I personally love cherry-picking the parts of canon that exist, purely from a selfish point of view but also because this universe allows for it. there are a lot of different endings or alternate paths these characters can go down, and as exemplified by act your age, we can either ignore them or embrace them. sure, it’s unlikely but there are some people who like the aya ending and say it’s their own canon, and others who like the ending where doof becomes professor time. or there's others, like me, who absolutely adore last day of summer as their timeline end. the openness of it in such a positive light makes it feel like it’s not even the ending for these characters.
it also begs the question - does everything go back to the status quo at the end of every phineas and ferb episode? well... it can't, really. most character arcs within the show are tied to events that happen, like monty and vanessa getting together, or buford joining the backyard gang, or even doof's slow arc to being a good, if not morally grey character.
no, it’s not a big deal that there’s a lot of different timelines in the sense you have to constantly think about it as you watch it. but it does present us with the classic conundrum: which one is actually canon? and to this, i say, pick your own ending. if you like cherry picking as much as I do, indulge yourself. skip episodes you don't like. ignore parts of canon that don't actually have that much impact on the timeline. hey, its not like the show doesn't allow for it!

A Future Return For O.W.C.A. Files? (Discussion):
Tumblr media
A frame from the OWCA Files theme song sequence.
O.W.C.A Files is a 1 hour special that premiered on Disney XD November 9, 2015 a while after Phineas And Ferb’s “final” episode.
It was one of the possible spin-offs the creators thought about doing, but it didn’t really go anywhere. It followed the B-plot characters post Doofenshmirtz turning good which is a smart idea for a spin-off since most people tended to like the B-part of the story better while more were bored with the A-plot.
However, among the fanbase it is a pretty controversial episode. Some complaints are that Doofenshmirtz is too annoying in the episode, the character design isn’t great, animation is mediocre, the pacing isn’t good, and the existence of the “Bits of All Of Us” song which some found very pre-school-like.
Tumblr media
It definitely could have used Norm or Vanessa to balance out the absence of another talking being while also toning down Doof’s annoying-ness over the course of a series, but I still think it was a pretty solid episode with other Phineas And Ferb level songs and shows the Doof n’ Perry action packed secret agent show spin-off that could have been.
Other spin-offs like a Fireside Girls one and Doof 101 were also contemplated, but out of many different show pitches, Milo Murphy’s Law would ultimately become the next show Dan and Swampy would work on instead, as well as the next Dwampyverse show.
Tumblr media
But could O.W.C.A. Files still be?
Before the revival was announced the creators have always talked about how they might one day revisit the show in “the next summer”.
Since it’s starting to look more and more like the Phineas And Ferb Revival will take place in the next summer while also visiting other episodes of the characters in the future it is possible that we could see an O.W.C.A. Files like B-Plot in a future episode once again, especially since Doofenshmirtz might likely be good after he turned good in the Season 4 Finale and after the events of Milo Murphy’s Law.

Doof does return to evil in the timeline though.
When it comes to the episodes that Doof is still evil in, but take place after the events of the Summer, (the Christmas and New Years specials/ etc.), Co-Creator Dan Povenmire’s explanation was that sometime after the events of Doof 101 (the fall after the summer) and before or after OWCA Files (I forget) Doof relapsed to an evil phase again which is believable, but after the events of Milo Murphy’s Law where his new, less evil, destiny is revealed it is less likely the creators will want to make him evil again unless they decide to switch of the Dwampyverse timeline once again🫠.

Milo Murphy’s Law and O.W.C.A. files both proved the B-Plot does not rely on Doofenshmirtz to be evil for entertainment. Not to mention some of the most memorable moments of the B-plot in the series have Doof being pretty tame and actually working together with Perry to accomplish a task.
However, it still seems unclear whether the crew or executives will decide to make him evil again or not in order to capture the same charm of the original show. We’ll just have to wait for the next announcement of new details soon.
Overall, it’s probably about a 50/50 chance whether the B-Plot will be an O.W.C.A. Files like Doof n Perry duo fighting evil, or not.
Even if nothing like that appears in the revival, Povenmire did sign a deal with Disney to make additional shows for the Disney Channel, including properties for the Dwampyverse, which means something like O.W.C.A. Files could still be on the table as a future show.
Tumblr media
How do you think they will handle the show?
Also, feel free to point out any details in the essay that should be changed.

Finkit and Fern - The Ducky Momo Show
The final episode of The Ducky Momo Show is now available!
Here is a link to the playlist for the series: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLl99Rn3tFsRPnZf4oslvB0P9oZoR_a5RX&si=66u3Q-RFdr2Sn7ep
Now, remember a certain post I did way back six or so months ago, back in July? Well, The Ducky Momo Show won that poll as the thing I was going to do next, so here's another poll:
@cantdanceflynn
Also, thoughts on me doing podfic versions of each episode? The eventual goal would be to make something resembling an animated show, and a podfic would cover the audio aspect of that, although with the addition of descriptions of any visual elements. If I do this, I'll be voicing all the characters myself in the original podfic, though later I might make a version with other voice actors, as I'd use the same lines in any actual episodes I end up making. This isn't an option in the poll because I'd want to write the episodes first, so to get to this option we'd need to go [write episode as script] -> [write episode as ao3] -> [make episode podfic]
This project as a whole might be called Finkit and Fern, and I'll be doing the Phineas and Ferb seasons + movies first, but after that I'll be doing Milo Murphy's Law and Hamster and Gretel, as well as anything additional that's released later. (think H&G S2/PNF reboot).
Hold on, where's a cute picture I can add to the post? Oh, I know:

Suzy/Curlkit concept art :)

+ her design reference! Cute, right?

Dib: "DAD! Don't listen to them There trying to sabotage--" (something happens and Dib, P&F run off)

Back when the original Club Penguin still ran circa post-2013, I attempted to convince the team to host a Phineas & Ferb takeover party via letter, not only because it was one of Disney's most popular IPs at the time and I thought it would fit really well on the island, but it was mainly an excuse to ask for platypus puffles, and I even drew concept drawings of "platypuffles" and Herbert dressed as Doofenshmirtz for them along with the letter for further prodding, so I guess what I was going for was a collaboration between the EPF and OWCA as part of the party. Obviously nothing became of this idea, but hey, I can still dream.

Kid Human Perry Stuff
You know I've seen various Human Perry the Platypus AUs. When he's an adult he's always Phineas and Ferb's Uncle, typically from Ferb's side of the family.
Which I've never exactly understood why. Is it because of teal and green being more similar than teal and orange? Or is it because they also tend to make him Australian, and Australia is part of the british commonwealth?
Not to mention making him a Fletcher doesn't really make any sense, because it seems like most of the time the AU also makes him adopted. Like I feel like I've primarily seen AUs in which he's Lawrence's adoptive younger brother.
Anyways this post isn't about that. This is more about Human Perry who is also a child AUs, which there are significantly fewer of, primarily because Human Perry was more or less created by Perrysmirtz shippers to make it less taboo.
So child Human Perry the Platypus, how does he fit into the Flynn-Fletcher household. He's obviously way too young to be Linda or Lawrence's sibling, because I'm having him be close to the same age as the boys and Candace. Right in the middle. If Candace is (recently turned) 15, and the boys are 9 (8-10) then Perry is 12.
He can't be a nephew. Tiana (Linda's sister) doesn't have kids and we see her get married in the series. While Adrien (Lawrence's brother) wouldn't have named him Perry.
He could be adopted. Linda and Lawrence could have adopted him after they got married, but that wouldn't make too much since as they haven't adopted each others' kids yet. Ferb is still just a Fletcher, while Candace and Phineas are both still just Flynns, while both Linda and Lawrence are Flynn-Fletchers.
He could even be a foster. Which would explain how OWCA would be able to just rehome him to a new family if they ever decided he had to be relocated, or his secret identity as an agent was revealed to his family.
I however vote on Perry being Ferb's older half brother on his mom's side.
Let me explain. So Lawrence and Linda obviously at one point had long lasting and serious relationships with different people. Linda with Candace and Phineas's bio-dad, and Lawrence with Ferb's bio-mom. Not to mention both Linda and Lawrence both whole heartedly take on and treat their step-children (remember no legal adoption) as their own children.
So I could totally see Lawrence still getting with Ferb's bio-mom, even if Ferb's bio-mom already had a kid from a previous relationship (human Perry). Like he married Linda and she already had two kids.
Anyways, Lawrence did indeed end up adopting Perry, so Perry is legally a Fletcher, but he's not biologically related to anyone but Ferb. He had to adopt Perry in order to retain custody after the death of his (first) wife shortly after Ferb was born.
So Perry and Ferb are bio-half-brothers but legally full brothers. And they're both Candace and Phineas's step-siblings. If Perry really needs to be Australian than his and Ferb's bio-mom can be Australian.
She died too early for Ferb to pick up the Australian accent, which is why he's so completely British. While Perry learned her Aussie accent long before his introduction to Lawrence (his step and later adoptive father), and later the American accent.
We already know that accent drift isn't a thing in P&F's world, with Ferb being the clearest example of this. He's apparently lived in America around americans for years, but his accent is just as british as any other british character in the show. With it being implied that he and Lawrence joined the Flynns in America when Ferb was a toddler.
So in P&F accent is something that's more or less set for the rest of your life by the time you get the talking thing down.
The OWCA situation is a bit different in this AU. You see, the thing is, Perry isn't an official secret agent. Or at least he didn't start off his nemesis-ship with Doofensmirtz that way.
His beef with Doof originally started because as we can see from canon. You see, Doof's inators very frequently just end up pointed at what Phineas and Ferb are doing in the backyard. Occasionally directly putting them in danger.
Much like how Isabella figures out that Doof's building was the origin of the static plague in Night of the Living Pharmacists. Perry similarly figured out where all these crazy sky beams that occasionally put his little brothers in danger were coming from, and went out to put a stop to that.
I imagine he eventually got co-opted into OWCA at one point, because that's kind of what OWCA does. Just accept/shanghai any effective agent that they can find. Let us not forget Planty the Potted Plant. And he's been with them for at least a couple years by the time we get to The Summer (the one that starts with a roller-coaster).

Do you have anything to share about The Hirano Files timeline? Also did you ever end up writing Dimensional Thrift? I tried to google it but I couldn’t find it?
Hi! I'm very bad at, actually writing my fanfics, unfortunately.
Dimensional Thrift was always more of a loose collection of character interactions gathered around a vague concept for an actual plot.
Part of the issue with it now is that I came up with the original idea in the middle of both Amphibia and the Owl House, and a lot happened in those shows afterwards. Owl House hadn't introduced Hunter and Vee at that point, for example, and I'd need to decide if I wanted to include them and what they'd actually do in the plot.
The Hirano Files I'm hesitant to work on because there's no way they don't follow up on Stacy in the Phineas and Ferb reboot. My general plans for the concept were that it was going to be structured like a series of episodes:
Stacy and Perry have to work together to hide a Vanessa and Monty date from Monogram and Doof.
Dennis the Rogue Rabbit comes back. Perry can't fight him without blowing his cover, so Stacy has to do it.
Meap Me in St Louis
Retelling of Candace Against the Universe where Stacy is there helping Perry.
Villain team-up episode where Big Mitch, the Regurgitator, Kevin Destructicon, Khaka Peu Peu, and Dennis fight the Beak. Perry and Doof recruit Peter the Panda and Stacy to help.
Ultimately this results in Stacy being deputized as a freelance OWCA agent (like Carl in Carl Incognito, Paul in Delivery of Destiny, and Monty in Save Summer).
something something stanessa happens

Alright so if Dan's oddly vague "probably next Summer" is indeed true (look he knows the answer, is the mouse holding him at gunpoint for a mere basic timeline confirmation???), it obviously does beg the question of how this is going to be addressed in-show.
Like, he also said it's basically the same show, so that means Doof is back to evil, and Candace is still busting. The latter has some room to it (especially if it's a literal compulsion she has), but the former would probably need some explaining.
Like, viewers will need a catch up on why he's evil despite the series finale being "ok I'm not evil now". Probably means they will have to address the spin-off pilots(?) and... yes, Milo Murphy's Law. Anyone who knows me knows my feelings on the trajectory MML went on, but I think they could just vaguely explain his time between Summers as "I went and did some shit, it didn't work out, so now I'm stuck back here". I do think it will be interesting to get into the character motivations behind it all though, like is it just a case of being directionless and nothing working out (ha ha accidental meta commentary), or is there more to it?
As said with Candace, I do think it's easier to have her back to busting. Candace Against the Universe was the closest we got to closure for her, but well apparently it takes place before Last Day of Summer so it obviously didn't stick. OCD is a bitch. There's obviously the post-Summer episodes showing her still, which are a weird enigma in themselves (two episodes that take place on Halloween night lol), and if you ignore my weird broken timeline theories, it does even show in Happy New Year she "relapses". So point being, I think it can work. Same with Doof even if that's harder to justify. What if she also falls back into busting cuz she struggles to know what to do and that causes a mega relapse cuz old habits die hard (again, kind of meta too lol)?
Hmm, what else is there to cover... I guess they'd need to address Vanessa's OWCA internship, if that ever went anywhere. There could be potential subtle changes too because it's a year ahead of the original run, how those would look I have no idea.
I do wonder if the opening of the next episode is going to be one big "we're back" song (it feels very in-character for the show to do), but I also wonder if they could use it as a way to explain what happened between Summers, any necessary changes. On that note... what if they get more specific and deliberately mirror the Curtain Call song? The fourth wall hasn't been set yet, and they just explain what's been happening. Also, it would be cool if the episode started with Phineas opening the door and waving HELLO this time.
So yeah, many possibilities. All I ask is that there's none of those stinking probability ions in the revival. I'm trying to keep the MML salt to a minimum, but I do think despite personal biases for ease of non-MML viewers MML refs should be throwaway and simple. Obviously that's a bit harder when they make some big changes to PnF lore in that show, but if it's not important, most that's necessary is a nod to what happened without dwelling on it. But please... no probability ions. I'm begging you.
To be positive again, I do think a "next Summer" allows for more creative freedom, so if they wanted to drag in MML and (probably more likely for show synergy) Hamster and Gretel guest stars, they could. Would be harder to do if it was the same Summer.
I guess another thing worth wondering is... how will the show be broadcast? Disney TVA stuff airs on Disney Channel/XD usually, but The Proud Family is proof this isn't set in stone. I mention this because PnF is HUGE on Disney+. I won't be surprised if it airs on Disney Channel, but the Disney+ userbase makes me wonder if that will be the primary broadcast method for the show now. Could also be synchronised. Hard to know for sure, but I know marketing has to take the Disney+ viewerbase into account.
Okay I think that's everything about the whole "how will the show be back" topic, so yeah. Guess we'll see sometime next year how it looks. Also, I promise I'm going to try as hard as possible to be quiet about probability ions. I swear. :'(

Phineas and Ferb is coming back, here’s what I’m expecting.
Tumblr media
When I woke up to this news, I had to drop everything I was doing to comment on it. My favourite childhood cartoon, Phineas and Ferb, heading back into production for one or more seasons is something that always seemed possible. Dan and Swampy had been hinting at it…basically as soon as the show ended, now that I think about it. And they spent a lot of their second show, Milo Murphy’s Law, planting clues that they weren’t done with the characters yet. Unfortunately, I never followed Milo that religiously, so I can’t comment on if it worked or not. And their third show, Hamster and Gretel, has been an improvement but still feels a bit niche. It’s clear their team’s style hasn’t changed much since 2012, it’s dependable but not innovative. However, that’s always been the case with PnF. It wasn’t a game changer for animation, just a really, really funny and polished show, and that’s great.
But now it’s back, and I’m a little worried. There’s a few things I really want them to do, and others I don’t, and I think they’re going to do both. Season 4 was a very special and event-oriented run, and that was great for a final season…but where do you go from there? Do you make more specials for Season 5 and 6? Less? Reel it in a bit and do more standard episodes again? There were a couple standard episodes in Season 4 that ended up feeling unremarkable, so I wouldn’t want the new run to carry that feeling over. Going back to Season 1’s mix of plenty of normal episodes, plus 5 or 6 longer adventures, would be the best way to go around it, I think.
Still on the topic of Season 4, it brought a few status quo changes that I can see them bringing up for the revival. Things like Doof having been an OWCA agent, Stacy knowing about Perry’s secret identity, confirming Phineas and Isabella won’t hook up until they go to college. Some have more potential than others, but others might be ignored or upstaged by new developments. It depends on how much they want to bend to the whim of the formulas, because those’ll probably be further tested.
In terms of which characters should be given more emphasis, I really want them to use Phineas more, explore what makes him so resourceful and optimistic. The crew are well aware that he could come off as a blank slate, so if they’re coming back, I hope they’re going to put some thought into fleshing out their title character. Another character I want to see them do more with is Jeremy, if just to see if they can give him a quirk. He was always sort of the everyman compared to Candace, who soaked up 99% of the energy in their shared scenes. Giving him more time to hang out with his band members could be cool too.
As for jokes, I expect their sense of humour to say the same- character based humour, subverting expectations, comedic song numbers and a few references here or there. Just because I’m expecting the sort of humour they’re doing doesn’t mean I’m tired of it. It would be more worrying if they did jokes uncharacteristic of the show. The one thing I bet they’re going to do that I’m concerned about is include more memes. That alien flossing in Candace Against the Universe might be a harbinger of “well, they referenced that”. It’s not like they’ve never been in touch with the internet, the 10th episode was about Phineas and Ferb making viral videos after all, but I don’t want them to bring memes and modern references into it if they’re gonna feel shallow.
That’s another thing, how will time flow this go around? Will it be set in the same summer as the original 4 seasons, or a year later? Could we possibly finally see what the rest of the year looks like, with the kids in school? That in particular is unlikely, but there has to be some debate internally over whether these new episodes will be set after The Last Day of Summer. Probably not, since Candace Against the Universe was confirmed not to be, but who knows. Will the timeline float though? The show started in the 2000s, and did its best to keep the technology timeless, only adding smartphones in Season 4. But will technology and culture change for Season 5? Is there a chance they’ll go back to flip phones and bulky TVs? The first 2 episodes are 16 this year, edging into the nostalgia cycle window, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they played into that nostalgia in some way. Maybe have a joke where Candace wonders why she still has her old flip phone laying around. “It’s older than me!”
These are just the questions and concerns at the top of my head, but I’m fairly optimistic that the show will still be good. There have been shorter breaks with rockier comebacks in animated shows. All it can take is 2 years sometimes. Now try 8! If it ends up being a tier or two lower than the original run, I won’t be shocked, but I will be happy that Disney still care about these characters at all. They’re currently the best at handling new IPs too, so I’m not even worried they could be relying on this show for the sake of nostalgia. It’s always going to be a new and popular show to kids, and long may this continue.

OWCA origins
“hot take: OWCA is not a spy organization. it’s an experimental therapy program. if needed I will elaborate but I think we can all agree.“
Tumblr media
Theatrical villains are rampant in the Phineas and Ferb universe. Before the existence of OWCA, it was worse. People lived in constant fear that they would fall victim to mustache-growing laser beams shooting through the sky and OSHA-noncompliant bear traps opening in the sidewalk. Authorities were desperate for any solution. So desperate, in fact, that they did something unheard of: They turned (partially) from violence, and towards psychology.
A leading study showed that all these depraved theater nerds had one thing in common: a tragic backstory, full of neglect and deprivation. The head of the study, a little-known sociologist/expert in animal behavior/genetic engineer/major general i guess/gymnast/seriously what has he not done?, got an idea. Here’s a transcript of his conversation requesting permission and financial support from the President:
Major Francis Monogram: “I’ve got it! I know what they need to change for the better!” President: “Well, don’t bust my chops man, what is it?” MM: “Emotional support.” President: “???” MM: “That’s right: Emotional support.” President: “But they already have all the emotional support they need via L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N.!” [Direct result of CIA involvement] MM: “No! I mean emotional support in the right direction. Companionship.” President: “Well, sir, at this point I’ll accept anything. What’s your proposal?” MM: “I propose... emotional support pets.” President: “Emotional support pets?” MM: “Quite right. Although, we’ll call them NEMESES. Nemesises? Whatever. We’ll assign each villain a custom Nemesis, based on their personality and crime patterns. For example! That old coot in California who’s really into hijacking aquariums and stealing the decorative coral? We’ll set her up with an octopus nemesis. Say that five times fast. AH. HAH. HAH.” President: “Stopping crime with cute animals? It’ll never work!” MM: “Ah, but what if these cute animals were also highly intelligent and trained in JIU JITSU?” President: “Ahhhh, through experimental genetic engineering that hasn’t been cleared by NIMH or WHO etc etc etc?” MM: “Yessir that’s the one sir.” President: “Permission granted. Go nuts.” MM: “The point is, these Nemeses will provide an outlet for combative and contraption-esque violence, but the whole time what’s actually going down is COMPANIONSHIP. And the national casualty count. We’d love that to go down, too.” President: “yeah ofc ofc, just one thing. Who will lead this mission?” MM: “Carl the intern and I, sir.” President: “And where will you get the genetically modified animals?” MM:  MM:  MM: “We’ve already got them, sir.”
[FLASHBACK to Carl the Then-Paid Intern sneaking animals out of the lab under cover of night]
President: “Fantastic! Make it so!” MM: "Now, about our funding?” President: “Ha! Don’t look at Uncle Sam. 100% of taxpayer dollars have gone to filling the potholes and funding mustache removal syndicates.” MM: “But there are still potholes everywhere. Not to mention mustaches.” President: “Not my problem. I have a hovercraft that takes me wherever I want to go. Slash Carl’s income, or let your science project die!” MM: “Yes sir.”
-
And thus, Organization Without a Cool Acronym was born. The effects were seen almost immediately. Crime went down, canceled out by the efforts of the emotionally-intelligent martial artist pets. All of OWCA’s budget went to taking care of the animals and bribing people from NIMH, PETA, and just about every organization with a cool acronym out there. That’s the ugly truth you don’t see onscreen. But that’s the truth. Everything you see on the P&F wiki is lies and propaganda. This may be my final message to you all.

Phineas and Ferb Platonic Soulmate AU
Big thanks to @pftones3482 who gave me Perry's soulmarks for his kids. I was suffering a creative block and I knew she'd be able to solve my problem ha ha
This AU takes place within the events of the series, so for this Phineas and Ferb are ten at the start of the most Epic Summer ever, Candace still turns fifteen during her birthday episode.
-Soulmarks appear on a person's body on their tenth birthday. Soulmarks are pictures that are of significance to their soulmate. Romantic soulmates have matching marks
-Perry and Pinky, as far as they know, are the only animals in history to have gained soulmarks. Perry receives his when he turns two.
-The darker the soulmark, the more powerful the bond between soulmates. If a soulmark is in full, solid colour, the person gains a sense connection to their soulmate. This sensation is very rare
-Candace's soulmarks: a heart with C+J inside of it for Jeremy, a teal hair bow for Stacy, a teddy bear for Phineas (matching the one he brought home with him from the hospital when he was born) and a chocolate bar for Ferb (the food she shared with him the first time they met) and a fedora for Perry. Her soulmarks for Perry, Phineas and Ferb are in full colour
-Phineas' soulmarks: a pink bow for Isabella, a calculator for Baljeet, a boxing glove for Buford, a wrench for Ferb, Ducky Momo for Candace, a grappling hook for Perry. His soulmarks for Candace, Ferb and Perry are in full colour
Ferb's soulmarks: a rainbow for Isabella, an atom for Baljeet, a goldfish for Buford, a screwdriver for Phineas, a grilled cheese for Candace (lunch that he made for her by himself when she came down with a nasty case of the flu) and a jet pack for Perry. His soulmarks for Perry, Candace and Phineas are in full colour
Perry's soulmarks: a white electric guitar for Phineas, an acoustic guitar for Ferb, a microphone for Candace. All of them are in full colour
-Perry knew immediately that his soulmarks belong to his kids. There's no one else in the world he loves more than them. The night he gains his soulmarks, he sneaks into Candace's room to see her soulmark for him. He is both delighted and panicked by the brown fedora on the palm of her left hand. He keeps a close eye on her the next day, trying to determine what her sense connection to him is, and is relieved when it's a scent connection. Though he expects she will be confused by some of the scents she experiences through their connection, he doubts it will be enough for her to figure out he's a secret agent
-Perry's marks are hidden beneath his fur, and if Monogram and Carl ever find out he and his kids are soulmates, it will be purely by accident, and he will fight through the entirety of OWCA if they ever try to take him away from his family
-Candace is initially excited when she starts to smell things that aren't there. A sense connection is established when both soulmates have their soulmarks, so she assumes her soulmate just turned ten. But she freaks out when she smells smoke, terrified that her soulmate is in trouble. Her parents soothe her, and when the scent disappears as quickly as it appeared, they figure a member of her soulmate's family is a firefighter or something. Candace grows used to the sour scent, but Perry tries to cover his nose as he destroys Heinz's -inators to keep her from getting too overwhelmed
-Phineas' sense connection to Perry is hearing whatever Perry hears. He can't hear full words, just unintelligible sounds and background noise. He doesn't think much of the explosions, the muffled booming against his eardrums. Almost immediately after the bangs, he'll hear the whistling of wind, the roar of a rocket, the ding of an elevator. He's intrigued by the garbled chatter, which he hears a lot, and he can't pinpoint the accent
-Ferb's sense connection to Perry is through touch. He's the first to figure out Perry is their soulmate, and that there is more to him than meets the eye. When Perry fell into the sandpaper factory, Ferb's skin erupted with a horrible burning sensation. He puts the dots together when Perry comes home all scraped up, and understands that when Perry comes home everyday, he goes straight to Ferb to make sure he isn't harmed by the aches, pinches and throbbing he experiences while Perry is gone. Though concerned, Perry always comes home, and in pretty good health, and Ferb decides to keep his suspicions quiet for the time being
-Perry's sense connection to his kids is through vision, which he is absolutely thrilled by. He can see through their eyes whenever he focusses, able to check on them no matter how far away he is

The Kids Know Perry's Secret Headcanons
-Whenever Candace sees Lawrence or Linda cleaning out the litter box, she'll remark, "Why don't you just get Perry to do it?" Phineas and Ferb crack up every time, but her parents, and Perry, get sick of the joke very quickly
-For the first few weeks, Phineas asks Perry for permission for almost everything; taking him for a walk, petting him, snuggling with him, if he prefers to give himself a bath, etc. Phineas worries about crossing Perry's boundaries and when he starts making a list of acceptable activities, Perry takes him aside and communicates that he loves just being with them, and that he'd never once felt demeaned being their pet, and he doesn't want that part of their relationship to completely disappear
-Ferb and Perry share fond, exasperated conversations over Phineas and Candace's abundance of energy
-When one of the kids are instructed to clean Perry's litter box, they immediately pass the task onto the platypus
-Candace realizes that all this time, Perry understood every mean comment she's directed at him. Overcome with guilt and shame, she apologizes tearfully, and though Perry appreciates it, it is unnecessary. He makes sure Candace knows that he doesn't care, that he's had many snappish thoughts about her, and that's just what they do. They bicker, they fight, they get on each other's nerves, and they still love each deeply through it all
-Phineas and Ferb build Perry a collar that has the ability to translate his chatters into speech. He doesn't use it very often, since all of the people he cares about most in the world understand him fine with his non-verbal communication, which he prefers, because it feels more intimate
-After every mission, Phineas and Ferb eagerly listen to Doof's scheme of the day. Candace has no interest, which Perry is extremely grateful for, because if she found out that Doof was responsible for most of the boys' inventions disappearing, he'd have to act as the man's bodyguard
-Candace asks Perry if she can borrow his spy gear to bust Phineas and Ferb. He gives a firm no, and that night she sneaks into his lair, only to find Perry waiting for her. They get into an argument, with Candace furiously stating that he's always liked her brothers much more than her before storming out. She tries to barricade herself in her room but Perry breaks in, and an emotional and heartfelt conversation ensues

My #1 post of 2022
Phineas, Ferb and Candace finding out about Perry’s secret a few years down the road and Monogram just lets them be, because he’s getting tired of erasing this family’s memories.
Perry shows the kids his lair and leaves them for a minute while he finishes up some paperwork with Monogram regarding the whole situation.
Candace finds a CD with his theme song, which she thinks is incredibly dorky. Phineas and Ferb are delighted and they stick it in Perry’s computer. Candace hears the opening beats and her eyes go wide.
“Oh my gosh, that slaps.”
When Perry returns he can hear the music blaring from the other end of the corridor. He enters his lair to see the siblings singing his theme at the top of their lungs and dancing enthusiastically to the rhythm.
With a wide grin, and overwhelming love in his heart, Perry joins them.

DTVA/DTS TAGTEAM TWEET-ATHON MOVIE #83: THE O.W.C.A. FILES (2015)
I’m gonna be honest, you shoulda left this in drafts.
I’ve always been of the mind that Phineas and Ferb are the least interesting parts of their own show, but I also have always been of the mind that you need both the Doof vs Perry story and the Phineas and Ferb build something story for an episode to work.
If you only focused on one, the show would be much less interesting. This special is an obvious backdoor pilot for a spin off series that gets rid of the Phineas and Ferb storylines, and gives top billing to a story about OWCA characters, and it’s definitely funny.
...but
I don’t think this needed to be a TV show. I’m glad it wasn’t, but I also didn’t need it to be a Special Episode. It takes the core of what made the original series special, and kind of messes with it. It does have a new supplemental story, however. It’s about bugs.
The bugs are really funny, but I don’t think they work as a side story that ties in with this world. I’d like them better as a series of shorts a la Looney Tunes or Animaniacs.
As it’s own thing it’s fine, but I don’t think it would have worked. I’m glad Milo Murphy’s Law was the real next step for these guys...until it wasn’t. Anyway, the movies fine.
7.5/10

Text
one time I had a dream that I was working for OWCA from phineas and ferb and my secret mission was to find the ‘terfinator’ from which all terf blogs originated like a bee colony and when I found it it was called “abortion 2” and contained a single text post with just the word “terf” and when I went to go destroy it it sucked me into the internet world and made me play galaga until I lost and when I did I cried so hard I instantly died and woke up
