I can’t believe the Qsmp is at this point now where I don’t want Slimecicle to login. Selfish, I know, but I have my reasons why I don’t want him to appear. For him to see the ruin the server has fallen into while he has been gone. For him to realize why there’s so much destruction. Why the people he once called his friends, family even, are unrecognizable. Why there’s a cloud of grief looming over every inch of the island, not just his house anymore. But worst of all, I don’t want him to find the solution to all his problems.

The Pills.

An easy way to regain your happiness after life has fucked you over again and again and again? A painless procedure to get rid of the apathy lodged in your fucking chest, slowly consuming you whole? A one-way ticket to forget all that shit that was bothering you in the first place? A chance to see Flippa again? It’s a dream come true! This is what Slime wants—not to heal, not to move on, not to deal with therapy and the feelings and paperwork that comes with it. He wants to be happy again. And the Federation’s treatment is quite literally his perfect medicine!

Almost too perfect...

What if the Federation had originally created the medicine Slime and it consequently worked on the other islanders? But wait, no, that doesn’t make sense. If the pills were made specifically for Slime, then why wasn’t he prescribed them? I mean, there would be no reason not to; the Feds were never particularly fond of Gegg given the rampant threats of arson. So why are we seeing them now? Or, a better question: why did the Federation create them in the first place? How were they able to have the pills on hand in case of mass hysteria and the destruction of the island?

It’s almost as if the Federation had the perfect control for their experiment. Someone who initially grieved not with tears or deals or a shoulder to lean on, all of which would come later, but with a wrath so volatile it could tear the server in half. Someone who’s parental rage could only be quelled through resurrection, a feat never to be taken lightly. Someone who would be their worst-case scenario if their ire were ever directed towards them.

It seems as if the Federation was prepared for the worst-case scenario. The antidote to an islander’s worst qualities; best taken when vulnerable. And it’s all thanks to Slimecicle! Without him, who knows what the Federation would have done with our favorite melodramatic president? Everyone is a cog in the machine, whether they know it or not! :)

If Slimecicle realizes this, I’m not sure whether he’ll survive the weight of the guilt on top of what he already forces himself to carry. Therefore, what you don’t know can’t hurt you.

Tic is subtle and has a hard time being straightforward. He'd built up the courage to tell them several times, over several months. Each time, pushing himself to get less subtle about it.

The first few were mixed into bad jokes. "knock knock" "who's there" "a sphinx" "a sphinx who" "a sphinx I like you". Every time, they laughed and blushed, but then assumed it was just a joke.

The last couple of times weren't even mixed into jokes, yet they still assumed he was just messing around.

This time he goes all out. He brings them somewhere beautiful, maybe under a starry sky, and after watching the stars for a bit, he grabs their hands and tells them he loves them. And when they still don't believe him, he brings them close. Inches from a kiss, and tells them he's 100% serious. He shuts them up by closing the gap before they can deny it again.

Tac has been very obviously flirting with this person for about a month, but he guesses he flirts with a lot of ppl, so it's not too farfetched to think he's just like that, so he steps up his game.

He gets more romantic with it. He gets them flowers and asks them out. (He'd asked them out a few times before, but they thought he was just being his usual flirty self. Which wasn't entirely wrong, but doesn't mean he wasn't serious.)

When they think he's just messing around again, he pulls them in with a hand on the small of their back. He assures them that he's 100% serious, and brings them into a deep kiss.

Tou is already very physically affectionate with his friends. Anything they'll allow. Holding hands, kissing their forehead/cheek, friendship cuddles. But with his best friend/crush, he always lingers longer than with the others.

He's absolutely ecstatic that they like the physical affection, but he wants more. He kisses their cheek often, and wishes he were kissing just an inch or two over, but they just don't see what his constant physical affection and lingering touches mean, so he gets more verbally affectionate.

Tbh, his verbal affection was already strong too, so this doesn't do a lot either, but he'd thought if he's now constantly calling them cute, beautiful/handsome, stunning, etc, they'd get the hint.

One day he leans into them, grabs their hand, and calls them the most attractive person he's ever met. He thinks surely they'll have to get the hint now, but they still think he's just being nice.

He gets a little frustrated and picks them up, tossing them over his shoulder, and ports into his room. (He rarely ports outside of battle training.) He sits them on his bed and sits next to them, grabbing their hand and leaning in a lot closer this time.

He kisses their hand, not breaking eye contact for a moment. He tells them he loves them, and that he's not just being friendly, and once they finally get it, he brings them into his lap for cuddles.

Snaps honestly takes a very long time himself to realize he actually wants to be with this person rather than just fuck them. Anyone else would have realized he has feelings for them far before he did.

They've been friends with benefits for months before he realizes it (with some help from his boss).

Once he's done having a crisis about having emotions he was sure didn't exist in him, he goes straight to their apartment and tests the waters.

He makes them a nice breakfast before they get up (tics not bothering him this time, as he's too focused on making it good for them). He holds their hand while they watch TV instead of holding their thigh/waist. He kisses their hand before they leave for work, and sneaks in the pet name "honey" rather than the usual "bunny" as he sees them out.

All of this, they only seemed mildly suspicious of, or flushed at and waved it off, so he gathers that he has to go further with it.

When they get back, he greets them with flowers at the door, dressed well, in a nice button-up and some dress pants. (Tho, he's still wearing his fingerless gloves.)

He leads them to the table, where he'd set up a candle lit dinner. (Food delivered from one of their favorite places, bc he wasn't confident he wouldn't mess up a fancy dinner.)

When they assume he's just buttering them up to ask if they can do something new in bed, he chuckles and assures them this isn't about sex anymore (tho he wouldn't mind that after dinner). His eye light appears, and he leans in, grabbing their hands, and he tells them he wants to be more with them, that he thinks he loves them.

#UAUHGG im havung oc thoughts. plaguing myBRAIN. i can feel my heartrate spiking holy shit #ok so. i rly wanna touch up presto and shuffles story without scaring myself out of it by overthinking it. esp the implications of #them having animal features and what they would eat. as well as worldbuilding character dynamics setting background characters ugghh.#constantly have to tell myself its just for fun. basically theyre rival magicians who keep their identities secret and fuck it up in #the funniest way possible LMAO. they rent the same apartment and the landlady accidentally gives it to both of them without them knowing #so they end up walking in on each other out of costume and have this weird tension around not revealing each others identities despite thei #borderline malicious rivalry. blackmail may or may not be involved i havent decided yet #they DO consider backing out of tenancy but they decide not to so they can make sure they dont reveal each others identities #thats the idea but its really abstract bc i dont have a direction or writing in mind. they just rattle in my head like spare change #other stuff i have rn is. they both consider each other a copycat and they have the same skill level of magic #but they have different styles and techniques theyre just too focused on outperforming each other to notice #presto likes to make people laugh so they probably include gags and impossible feats. shuffle is more elegant and focuses on #smooth movements and dangerous stunts. i want to make that reflect in their costumes but its hard bc stage magician costumes tend to stick #to suits and capes.. so idk. then maybe side characters like the landlady and other tenants but i havent given em much thought orz #i really should practice with concepts because i have a bad habit of making everything similar to the first try so its frustrating #and i suck at writing characters. but im doing this for fun so im trying not to get hung up on whether its generic or not #yapping #stares at the floor. maybe i should make a carrd for my ocs #oc talk #presto #shuffle

like I wanna be clear, I never really wanna talk people out of not liking the show or whatever. like sure I want people to enjoy it but also if you don't like it in general or don't like certain plot points or changes, I am not posting to try to talk you out of that. I'm posting because I'm a brainrotted girl with lifelong OCD who literally has a brain wired to obsess over things and its healthier for me to obsess over things I like

I mean, I'm gonna point out takes that I don't think make sense (like "oh but Lanfear would have just Traveled to get Rand" literally makes no sense for instance and I'm gonna point stuff like that out) but like I don't really wanna talk people into the show unless they like actually want me to. if you come on my posts or send me an ask and question my opinions/theories/takes, I'll talk about them with you happily, but I have no interest in really commenting on people's stuff to try to argue with them into liking things or agreeing with me and that's never really my intent. there are valid complaints and all that and its better to see those then like mindless hate from bookcloak types. complaints in and of themselves should not be dismissed on the nature of being a complaint

Standing up and walking back to his computer, he found himself hesitating. Would Marinette think it's weird to see that he has the Ladyblog bookmarked? Alya was his friend, it wasn't weird to bookmark her blog right?

Maybe it just felt weird to pull up the place he would spend hours, hoping to catch more glimpses of the girl he once loved while the girl he loves now watched.

Maybe it was especially weird because he still sometimes pulled it up to see what new pictures they got of his good friend.

Just good friend.

“Alya has some really good pictures of them on the Ladyblog.” Marinette's voice startled him as she came up behind him.

He nodded and bit the bullet, pulling up his bookmark. Marinette didn't comment at all, in fact, she didn't even comment as he started scrolling through the pictures of Ladybug and him. He glanced over at her, only to find her seemingly deep in though as she stared at the screen.

Marinette noticed him looking at her and gave him a nervous smile.

Oh. Maybe she felt weird about it too, since she used to have a thing for Chat Noir.

I saw a post regarding fic collections/how they're difficult to navigate, so I put some outlines in the descriptions for both Reflections and Delights:

I hope this is easier to browse! I'm never sure if folks somehow miss seeing these... Looking back, I probably should have made each of these fics their own individual oneshots, but I was self-conscious about spamming the wolgraha tag on AO3 and thought people would get mad at me somehow. lol (I realize this is silly, now, almost 2 years later.)
