Have you watched the Chip and Dale movie? If so, whats your opinion on Peter Pan being the main villain?

I did a couple days ago!

I think the way they did it was in seriously poor taste (Considering how very similar they made his story to Bobby Driscoll's.). It was bad enough, but they didn't even have soul enough to give him a happy ending- even a little bit of hope? Maybe have Wendy turn up to visit him in prison, or he sees the error of his ways, but no- they just used a tragedy as a villain story with no apology.

The thing is though, they totally coulda made Peter a really cool villain without the blatant disrespect? Peter isn't supposed to grow up- which means he will never learn right from wrong. Everything's a game for him. He's obnoxious.

If the writers really wanted to make him a creepy middle aged man for the shock factor, that would've worked! Make him a child star that never moved on from his roll and grew into a terrible adult.

But- ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, sorry 😅 I will finish there.

To finish on a high note though!- I LOVED Captain Putty XD And Chip N Dale themselves were very cute ^^

No. 15 Emotional damage (lies)

He was working at a console, whistling happily. Scotty would be so proud when he saw how fast Keenser had managed to fix the problem.

Lately the Scotsman had seemed so sad. He spent most of the time at his office, didn’t want to be disturbed. Even Keenser couldn’t get through to him.

But when Scotty would see the fixed console, it would surely cheer him up. So Keenser finished his work and headed to his best friend’s office.

He wanted to knock but found the door to be open. That was strange.

“Scotty! Scotty, dammit! Wake up!”

That voice. It was the doctor’s voice. And it sounded in panic!

Keenser bursted into the room and was shocked at what he saw.

Scotty was lying on the ground, McCoy at his side.

There was a hypo in the Scotsman’s lifeless hand. McCoy grabbed it and swore loudly.

Keenser grunted worriedly but the doctor didn’t even seem to notice.

“Come on, come on! Don’t do this to me!”

McCoy slapped Scott’s cheek but nothing happened.

Keenser fell to his knees next to his friend and he grabbed his hand tightly. He heard McCoy calling for help before the man focused on Scotty again.

“Wake up, Scotty.”

Tears were swelling in McCoy’s eyes.

Keenser whimpered and squeezed Scotty’s hand. What had he done? Why was he unconscious?

Fear gripped his heart.

Hours seemed to pass before a med team arrived, handing McCoy a hypo. The doctor took it and injected it into Scotty’s neck.

“Scotty…”

Keenser murmured his friend’s name and finally! The eyes fluttered open!

Scotty seemed to look at him for a moment, eyes wide.

“Keen…ser?”

The Roylan nodded eagerly.

“Scotty! Wake up!” McCoy ordered again. Why? Scotty was already waking up. Didn’t he see it?

Scotty blinked a few times before he looked at McCoy.

“Keenser… he…”

“He’s dead, Scotty. He’s dead…”

Keenser’s body froze. What? What was the doctor talking about?

Tears ran down Scotty’s face as McCoy hugged him tightly.

“But… no… he was there. I saw him.”

McCoy swallowed.

“Because you took an overdose.”

Keenser grabbed Scotty’s arm but only now did he realize that his green skin looked different. It… was bright. Nearly transparent.

He shook his head in disbelief.

No… this was a lie! It wasn’t real! McCoy was lying.

He couldn’t be dead. He… he was here. With them.

“I… I should have been the one dead. I was supposed to be the one working on that bloody console! Not him!”

Scotty sobbed violently.

No…

“You really think he would want you to kill yourself?!”

Keenser tried to hug Scotty but his body went right through him.

No… he wasn’t dead!

It was a lie! A nightmare!

“I…” Scotty shook his head.

Keenser felt hot tears on his cheeks as memories flashed through his mind.

Him working at a console. The console exploding.

He couldn’t help but cry out as realization set in.

It… was no lie.

Keenser was dead.

"why should I get invested in shows if they'll just get canceled" I was deeply invested in Heroes (2006) and it was not canceled, it just got really terrible. I also got really invested in the sandwich I had a few weeks ago despite it only lasting like 15 minutes. You must embrace the ephemeral. You must be willing to love things that may not love you back, that might betray you, or that may die an untimely death. PSA:

Acetaminophen/paracetamol has a hard stop upper dose limit, above which it becomes extremely toxic.

That limit is 4g (8 “extra strength” (500mg) tablets) in 24 hours (about 2 tablets every 6 hours).

A single dose of 22 extra strength tablets can kill you.

Taking 12 or more tablets per day for more than a week can also kill you (this is about 3 tablets every 6 hours).

Symptoms of overdose take up to 24 hours to manifest, and are fairly difficult to distinguish from other problems. They include abdominal pain (especially right upper quadrant), nausea, malaise, and confusion.

The antidote (n-acetylcystine) must be given within 8hours of ingestion in order to be useful.

After 10 hours the only thing that will work is a liver transplant.

You might think “why would I ever accidentally take so much?”

Well, acetaminophen is in almost everything in the cold/flu/pain aisle. Migraine combos like Excedrin, cold and flu combos like NyQuil, basically anything that says “non-aspirin pain relief”, and anything that’s branded as a fever reducer. It’s all probably acetaminophen/paracetamol.

So the goal of this post is to get you to read the labels on your medications. Because taking taking Tylenol and NyQuil together for a week (like you might if you had the flu) could kill you.
