I am so late but I am finally done with the first round of merch that I am satisfied with. I am satisfied and we are rolling forward with this set. Now to send off all of my final sample orders so that I know these are absolutely working and are worth posting to a shop site as pre-orders.

Clan of Three lanyards. I recognize that I could easily turn these into washi tapes if I wanted to. We'll see.

Grogu Baby Crimes. Sticker & acrylic shaker charm. Completely revamped after carrying around the old version as an acrylic shaker charm and deciding it was too unwieldy and, more importantly, not cute enough. This will be a sticker option and an acrylic shaker charm option.

Keldabe kiss - Interstellar version. Matte & holographic sticker.

Keldabe kiss - Tatooine version. Matte & holographic sticker.

Live Cheen Reaction. Sticker. For all the fans of Cheen Yofree, the unluckiest third-wheeling Rodian OC.

Need A Hero. Sticker & acrylic charm. The only thing I'm putting forward with Din's face for now. I wanted something cute.

Clan of Two. Sticker. A straightforward general sticker.

The Battle Couple. Sticker (for now). This was actually designed to be an embroidered patch, but I'm not really there yet. The sticker shape is odd so I might present this as a kiss cut sticker.

Luke on Ossus - no scars. Sticker. For people who don't want scars?

The Storm. Sticker (for now). I wanted to make more merch for my fics and might use this template for the other fics in the Dangerous Dreams series.

The Clan of Three. Sticker. This motherfucker held me up for MONTHS. I didn't like the previous full-body version especially after getting several sample stickers so I started over... and then got stuck. For months. But here we are. The final piece of the puzzle.

Limited - Tron. Sticker & acrylic charm. I wanted to make a little Tron merch. The acrylic charm will be double-sided with Tron on one side and Rinzler on the other. Thank god this guy is more or less symmetrical.

Limited - Rinzler. Sticker & acrylic charm. For people who like Rinzler. This will be double-sided with Rinzler on one side and Tron on the other side.

I'm sending off a final round of sample sticker and charm orders so that I can get a feel for the revamped and new designs, and once I'm happy I'll get the pop-up shop up and running.

Round 2, I'm looking at small prints, possibly the embroidered patch, and maybe a Tron|Rinzler standee. Also a sticker for The Suns maybe, possibly also The Stars. What if I did a WarGreymon|BlackWarGreymon charm?????

Have you seen that short where Marcille goes to an "ex-dungeon lord support group"?? It's so funny that it EXISTS at all but it ends with her being awkward because everyone there lost something great and she's sitting there like "uh... I lost the will to do my hair." But it's so sweet because her hair is styled in that short by someone who cares for her 🥺

I did!! If I recall correctly, I think Pattadol actually set it up because she wants to help former dungeon lords heal?? It's very sweet and also SO funny.

And kind of tragic. Marcille thinks she got off easy because she doesn't remember how much she used to love taking care of her hair. It was such a huge part of who she was as a person and now she doesn't even remember it well enough to grieve it. She says "oh well, I guess I'll cut it short" like she didn't spend years growing it and taking care of it. Like it wasn't a point of pride for her, like it wasn't something she really loved about herself.

Sure. It's not as bad as what happened to Mithrun and Thistle, who had their entire selves taken away. But the demon still took a fundamental part of her in an active attempt to make her more vulnerable, and she doesn't even think it was a big deal...

The clocks keepers are so important to me in the little ways they show care for each other in the last chapters.

Mirai enters a new personality while meeting Nene and Tsukasa and introduces herself as the second ranking clock keepers.

She does an absolute 180° to her personnality, proving that she is indeed an old supernatural and deserves her title.

But once Akane is back with them, she goes back into her child like personnality and using the name he gave her.

It's really clear that they need all clock keepers to be here, and Mirai always refers to Akane as 'Akane'. Never as the lowest ranked clock keeper like the Owl (Kako) may be doing.

Kako has always had a more authoritarian/professional/parental figure to the other two. Akane is always looking for his confirmation during the trial and all the times where Kako is with Mirai in the previous chapters, he is always carrying her with him.

And of course, we have how Akane reacts when he sees Kako getting destroyed. His face isn't one of fear like when he saw Teru beaten up by Number 6 in chapter 88, it's one of absolute anger. He even has his gavel out, ready to fight.

The last time we saw Akane angry like this, was when he learned that Teru lied to him about Aoi and his first reaction was to punch him. I don't know if Akane would be able to have any logical reaction after this (freeing the others right away for example) or if he will go straigth up into action.

It's a funny thing to see, especially when Akane insists so much on how he is forced to be here and to do his duties. He is forced to do this trial and he clearly doesn't like it so why is he reacting so strongly to Kako being destroyed?

i NEED to know if the voicemails are real shit ashley said or are just andrew’s subconscious guessing what she could’ve said

i’m curious as to whose mind it reflects. if it’s really ashley, it shows a Lot about her insecurities and what exactly bothers her the most about julia’s relationship with andrew. we know she has a lot of internalized misogyny from the way that she talks about herself and other women, but for her to express that she doesn’t think andrew values julia as a person is.. wild!!

on the other hand, if it’s andrew’s subconscious putting its own words in ashley’s mouth, it’s very interesting to see how he views her without a filter.

andrew knows ashley super well, and he has known about her possessive problems ever since she started having them as a kid. he knows why she feels insecure, he knows she feels threatened by julia and everyone else who gets close to andrew, and he knows that she’s sent voicemails because (presumably) julia told him during their breakup phone call. (or he heard her???)

there’s a possibility of julia playing the voicemails for andrew, but i don’t think that’s very likely considering what we’ve seen of her thus far. (she asked andrew not to get mad for her suggesting a little distance between him and ashley. whether she’s saying it Just In Case or because he’s gotten angry at julia about ashley before is a mystery!) but, maybe ashley had been sending voicemails for a while, and julia just got to her breaking point.

maybe ashley has sent previous girlfriends of andrew’s similarly scathing voicemails? maybe he just subconsciously filled in what he’s heard from her before? maybe he’s projecting some of his own issues with ashley?

i’m so so curious. the fact the ashley sent voicemails is real,

Thoughts on akutagawa being drawn with no highlights in his eyes, hair, coat, or on rashomon,,,like everything is drawn pure black? I like when he's drawn a little bit like not-human--contrasts real well with Atsushi's dilemma of being a tiger, personally thinking. Also like when he's drawn like a void. Little bit like the cryptid creachur he is. I think you wrote something about it in the tags on panels in his introduction in the Manga. I like to think other characters also see him the way we see him so his void ass scares the fuck out of others too. Man's skeevin and tweakin even in his design

I'm OBSESSED with Akutagawa's design. Look at him. This is what he looks like on a white background:

And this is what he looks like on a black background:

It's BRILLIANT. He literally disappears in the black. He's the ultimate monster. In his appearance, he embodies what above all is most scary for the human psyche: the darkness, the unknown. The way Harukawa took advantage of the the art rule of never using pure black by breaking it in the most clever way! No light gets reflected on him, because his form absorbs everything– is absolute darkness. Visually, his figure itself is Rashomon eating everything it encounters, and it's genius.

He is so nightmare coded. I love his big, inscrutable eyes that look like two voids, two black holes. I love how oftentimes you can't tell where Rashomon ends and where he starts, I love how sick and unhealthy he looks. I love how he looks scruffy like an abandoned dog. I love how young he looks– way younger than he is. It gives the impression of a ghost, someone who was killed before growing up and is now stuck with his young appearance no matter how many centuries pass.

I adore everything about these chapter 33 pages. The way he initially appears as just a single black shape, hardly resembling a human. His crunched, unnatural stance. The staggering. The way you can feel with your senses the thick and sticky blood. The top picture is the left page of the manga, so just imagine the visual impact of turning the page to be hit with an almost full-black page- it's meant to impress, it's meant to shake. The way he's one with the darkness: no textures on him, only white making out his outlines. The way you can't tell where his coat ends. His left arm hanging numb, limp, lifeless, inhuman. The spurts of blood on his face. His smile, how you won't notice it at first and how that makes it all the more disquieting; its juxtaposition with the violence that surrounds him and that he is the cause of. The way he covers his face, the impressions of hiding and looming. His face being split, which only adds to the horror elements. Akutagawa's character design as a whole is an ode to the gothic and grotesque.

And then this. Hello??????????????? The progression from how Akutagawa used to be to the last time we saw him alive is astonishing. It's upsetting. It really makes me wanna cry from a technical execution standpoint alone (imagine from a plot related standpoint). All the black is now replaced with predominant white, everywhere. His shirt is white and candid and pure, emphasizing contrast with the splash of blood in a way that almost results sickening. The blood on him is his this time. His face looks rounder, and healthier, and he overall looks more mature. His smile is sincere and genuine, it's light, it's affectionate. This scene is the culmination of Akutagawa's character both visually and thematically: the monster, Akutagawa, too, can be good, and arguably had good within him since the very start. Does it really matter if he lives after this? His character already developed to be the best version of himself‚ and this panel here is the proof.

oh so when moth flight has kittens as a medicine cat and gives them away to strangers, one of which let his own son die and considered killing babies, because she can’t deal and somehow cant ask her clanmates to help, shes noble and brave and wise and shaped things for generations to come and she gets to die peacefully with all her children being like “wow mom that was so cool of you, we’re so happy and you are so smart and epic”, but when leafpool has kittens as a medicine cat and gives them to her sister who she knows wont mistreat them, she’s treated like shit by most people around her and shes so unforgivable that her children can’t help but snark about this at her funeral and shes almost sent to cat hell. ok

#no lets talk abt how fucked up moth flight was for that actually. like heres the thing atleast the three grew up together #at least they had a family at least they were happy. and they were too young to remember leafpool nursing them #so its understandable when theyre mad but leaf did what she could with the circumstances #moths kittens were attached to her and each other and her clanmates. and she ripped them from all of that #this was FAR from her only option like the rule wasnt even set at that point. her hand was not forced at ALL #yes she struggled but she was not by herself and she didnt have stigma around it stopping her #not to mention uh. clear sky held her hostage a few chapters before. he let his own son die over his pride.#hes considered killing kittens before for the sake of it.#but he ''deserves'' her child more bc he lost a son and this is so cute and wholesome for him #even tho he hates outsiders and treats them like shit #nah lets demonize moth flight a bit more for this bc she was actually so morally fucked up and in the wrong for this #and it drives me crazy how this is not portrayed as a heinous act but a bittersweet noble sacrifice thats shes rewarded for #ntm leafpool only suffered as bad as she did over moth flights actions.#echoed voice

By late morning, Jason and the brats were off the train and walking through the city of London, looking for the little tailor shop where their final document pickup was supposed to happen.

So far, Jason hadn’t noticed anyone trailing them, and it was honestly sort of putting him on edge. They hadn’t seen a hint of the League in several days… But hopefully they really threw Ra’s men off by hopping on that train in New Delhi.

Maybe Ra’s could be thinking they were still in India, since the identities they’d flown to India with technically never left. That would be cool if Ra’s could just waste his time forever searching for them in India.

But Jason wasn’t naïve enough to believe that. Chances were Ra’s had some sort of access to the security cameras around the world, and had already figured out they were in Europe. Jason did his best to not look up for cameras to get a good shot of his face, but he had to be realistic here. Him and three kids were kind of obviously the four of them.

The tailor’s was a small little shop wedged between a sandwich shop and the lobby for what Jason assumed was the apartments upstairs. Casually, Jason opened the door and motioned for the kids to go inside first, then he followed right after them. He hardly had a chance to size up the two men inside before he heard the door click shut behind him.
