A/n: Not exactly what you asked for but close enough i think.

TikTok is the bane of your very existence.

It’s the bane of your professional life as a chef because everytime you turn around one of your crew is using prep time to make a concoction and upload it to that godforsaken app.

And in your personal life?

Well, in your personal life, it feels like every time you blink you're being sucked into filming one of those stupid videos with your girlfriend.

The first time it happened, you were barely even sure what was going on.

The two of you had been getting ready to go on a date to a relatively nice restaurant, when she pulled up in front of her phone’s camera so she could show off what you were wearing.

That had been the beginning of the madness (as well as a very hard launch of your relationship to the public).

It didn’t really matter what you were doing, if Mary had decided that a video needed to be filmed, it’d be filmed.

A literal walk in the park. TikTok.

You driving. TikTok.

You tearing a member of the kitchen staff a new one. TikTok. (Although she’d been asked not so politely by the head chef to never do that again).

You cooking in your shared flat. TikTok.

Hell, she even made a TikTok of you sharpening your knives, a task you find completely mind numbing.

And if having your every move recorded wasn’t bad enough, she also had you joining her in filming one of the more popular trends. You mouthing along to the silly sounds that are currently popular on the app. Or worse, dancing, you hate the dancing.

Asking how often you think about the Roman Empire (only as often as you need to).

Throwing herself fully clothed into the shower  and singing Taylor Swift while you were trying to brush your teeth.

Making you record a two second clip of everytime you changed clothes while on vacation.

The list is neverending.

Which is why you should be more alarmed when you see her walking into the kitchen  with her phone out but you’re too focused on chopping the vegetables you’ll be using in your meal prep.

 “Baby,” she says.

“Hmm?”

“Can we record a TikTok?”

“Can I keep doing what I’m doing,” you ask in return, still not looking up from the cutting board.

“You don’t need to do anything but stand there and look pretty,” Mary says as she sets her phone up next to you. “And answer questions,” she adds as an afterthought.

You roll your eyes but don’t make any additional comments as you see her hit record.

“So a ton of you have been asking in the comments how my wife manages to be a professional chef when she has so many food allergies,” Mary says, looking directly at the camera. “And I figured it was better if I just let her explain it. Babe?”

Admittedly, you hadn’t really been listening to every word that she had been saying, only really listening to every word that she had been saying, only really catching the words ‘allergies’ and ‘professional chef’, which is a topic you get asked about a lot. So you just answer without really thinking.

“My main allergies are seafood, peanuts and treenuts. And since I’m one of 2 or 3 sous on any given night, I just,” you pause, “wait, what did you just call me?”

You can feel cheeks heating up as your brain finally processes what just happened.

“What? Babe?”

Mary’s playing dumb on purpose. She knows it. You know it. And you both know that the other one knows.

“Not that, the other thing.”

“What my wife,” she asks.

A cheeky grin breaks out on Mary’s face as she watches even more color rush to your face.

For you, when she repeats it, you suddenly feel like you can barely breathe and you know that your next words come out a little choked (much to Mary’s amusement.)

“Yup, that.”

As calmly as you can manage, you put your knife down and take off your apron before walking out of the kitchen.

“Wait, where are you going?”

“I have to find my wallet and keys,” you shoot back.

“Why?”

“I gotta go buy a ring before you change your mind!”

The sound of her laughter is the only thing you hear as you close the door behind you.

The video is up on that cursed app by the end of the week.

How the AU’s work

Each au has four version (book style in which it falls into silver eye’s continuity, game style in which it falls into game continuity, movie style in which it falls into movie continuity, and amalgam style in which it combines all three continuity’s into one)

In xanthophobia Cassidy is the villain (William afton die’s extremely soon in the AU and for once in his life never comes back)

So in my most of my AU’s the souls are able to grow old despit not being alive which explains any shipping you might see. Most of it isn’t my doing though

Elizabeth x Nick is only cannon in golden children

Unless its Evan x Cassidy or Mike x Charlie

TF2 is cannon in the golden children au (i mostly just wanted to make fnaf 2 Jeremy TF2 Jeremy)

The golden children au takes place in the late 80s to early 90s with flash forwards towards the pizzaplex era while the shattered souls au takes place in 1991 and the malefactor malfunction shifts the entire time line to start in 2000 GMTC takes place around 1999 to 2018 xanthophobia takes place in in the 2000s and 2010s

In shattered souls Springtrap is much nicer due to him losing his murdeous tendencies after getting spring locked

malefactor malfunction is a Ben 10 fnaf crossover with Cassidy having a version of the omnitrix called kaizotrix

favorite thing about them -> You drive a hard bargain, picking one of my faves and expecting just one thing. I love his awkwardness because I find it relatable, LOL. But like, okay, I think my favourite thing about him is this quiet fortitude he carries himself with? Like, he's shy and doesn't always offer up his opinion, but he will almost always quietly defend his loved ones and what he thinks is right. And I love that, that he's not generally bold but is willing to defend his values.

brOTP -> I loved his supportive friendship with Christopher. Sadness. But honestly, all of the Merry Thieves fall into this category. I hope James and Matthew understand that while there were 4 inseperable friends, they were always kinda paired off, and they work hard to include Thomas more.

Alright so this is real specific but I have feeling you’ll have a good answer. Are there any Taylor Swift songs that remind you of Stiles’s pov of Stydia or Lydia’s pov or both?

This is a fun ask! There are several actually. And specific is awesome, by the way. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to a new Taylor Swift song over the years, convinced that she watches Teen Wolf, is a fan of Stydia, and wrote the lyrics specifically for them.

Anyway, to keep this response from becoming an actual book, I’ll delve into three songs – one for Lydia, one for Stiles, and one for our OTP – and I’ll just list the others.

Let’s dig in…

– Begin Again –

This is a favorite of mine. Soft. Emotive. Nostalgic. It was the inspiration for the final chapter of Falling Slowly, a song that has always reminded me of Lydia (especially in s1/2). Seriously, it’s like a snapshot of the thoughts and feelings she would have been going through with Jackson – the power struggle, the conflict, the lack of connection, the disrespect. In the meantime, and happily-ever-after for us, she’s building this genuine friendship with Stiles. One of the many things I love about their development—something that, too often, gets overlooked—is how in awe of him Lydia must have been, the kind of awe that is so beautifully expressed in this song. If you look closely, it’s there…on their first date, and again when they go ice skating… Something in her expression that says: Oh, so this is what it’s supposed to be like. And who could blame her? Stiles is the complete opposite of Jackson. He lights a match to everything Lydia thought she knew about relationships, simply by being himself. Which is to say, someone who treats her right, who cares deeply for her, and who listens to her because he actually wants to know her. Someone who opens doors, and camps out in hospital waiting rooms, and pays attention to the things that matter to her because they matter to him too. For the first time, she’s realizing someone can appreciate and admire her for who she truly is, not just her outward appearance and popularity. And all it took was this cute-awkward, hyperactive but super-smart guy who laughs with the exuberance of a little kid to show her that real love isn’t something that hurts you. It heals you. That with the right person, you can always begin again.

– You Are in Love –

This is Stiles, through and through. Because he knew he loved Lydia for a long time, but it was from a distance. Then, he starts spending quality time with her, and it really sinks in: He is in Love. I can just picture Stiles having all of these *moments* – meeting by their lockers, sitting in class, driving Lydia home, stepping into her room, studying together, sharing peanut butter cups, seeing her snuggle into one of his hoodies – all of these little moments where he realizes he’s more in love with her than he ever thought. Moments where he senses their unspoken connection, the kind he can hear in the silence… Moments when he feels and—even with the lights out—sees that maybe, just maybe, Lydia is beginning to feel that way too... It's slow burn bliss, I tell ya! It’s love. True love.

– Everything Has Changed –

For the phrasing, obviously. Also, if you’ve read chapter 37 of Falling Slowly, (apologies for another shameless plug—it’s a year since I finished it, and I’m feeling super nostalgic) you’ll understand even more why this song gives me serious Stydia vibes. Not so much in the context of love at first sight, but rather, an awakening moment. Something that makes you want to know another person on every level, how with each new thing you learn, you want to know more and more. Always more. It’s about being affected by the little details. How your thoughts keep circling back to this other soul. The notion of letting someone in because—with or without explanation—being with them feels like coming home. If that’s not Stydia...

When Devi gets sick, Ben teases her but is especially doting and tries to stay home as much as he can to keep her company and because he is concerned for her. He tucks her in and feeds her chicken soup and takes her temperature frequently and calls in sick for her and Devi feels like the luckiest person in the world to have such a caring partner

When Ben gets sick, Devi isn't as doting but is definitely concerned for her partner. She calls/texts him every few hours and tells all her friends that "Ben's sick, I hope he's okay" She moves a TV into the bedroom and puts on Gossip Girl reruns and calls Patty to find out how Ben likes his laundry done so she can do it while he's sick.

Devi, 100% She knows Ben likes the chase and that it drives him crazy in the best way possible.

That's so hard because their relationship has soooo many twists and turns but I saw a great video for The Very First Night by miss taylor swift and the lyrics do fit them perfectly

Ben: Reality TV shows (particularly the Bachelorette) and gossip, brightly lit restaurants, groups of little kids playing on the playground (reminds Ben of when they first met)

Laughing my ass off because I feel like they would use this opportunity to roast each other. Ben would choose a hot pink sari because Devi hates them and thinks they are uncomfortable while Ben would wear a tuxedo too sizes too small.

They both love neutrals in the bedroom. Their sheets are almost all white or a light beige, sand colour.

Nope. They love each other but Harper refuses to share a razor or toothbrush with Steve.

Maddie snores but she’s not loud. Chris finds her little snores cute.

Who goes to bed first?

Harper. While Steve can function on very little sleep, she needs at least six hours a night. She either takes herself to bed or fall asleep on the couch or at her desk at work.

Who’s more likely to go over-the-top with decorating for holidays? Chris. He loves Christmas. Live Tree. Lights. The works. Maddie lets him do his thing.

What’s one song/movie one person loves that the other person can’t stand? 22 by Taylor Swift. Steve says it’s like nails on a chalkboard.

What’s each person’s favourite place in their house? Chris loves the back patio, spends most of his free time out there when the weather is good. It’s not uncommon for Maddie to find up asleep on the swing bed. Maddie loves the reading nook. It’s a safe space for her, especially when she’s overwhelmed.

How do they help each other get ready for a night out (zipping dresses, straightening ties etc?) Definitely, of them while telling each other the things they want to do when they take their outfits off. Harper always checks his tie and medal bars when Steve is in his dress uniform. It’s her little routine.

Do both partners buy any personal items (sanitary items/contraception etc), or is it one specific person's job? They have no hang ups on buying each others stuff. However Chris likes to buy his condoms himself, even the ones stored at Maddie’s place because he’s of the mindset that it’s 100% his responsibility so he wants to be the one to do it.

Which partner is the one that forgets to hang up their towel? They’re both pretty good at picking up after themselves

Which partner writes love notes in the steam on the mirror? Steve has once, after the first time Harper stayed over at his place

Was there a moving-in-together talk, or did someone just stop going home? Chris brings it up. They’re spending basically all of their free time at each other’s places anyway so it makes sense that they live together.

Do they have an office or a study? Who spends more time there? There’s a small study area in the dining room. Steve often has files from the current case scattered over the desk that he goes through when he can’t sleep.

What’s the big item they had to compromise on to make room for when they moved in together (Piano, pool table, bookcase etc)? There wasn’t really any compromise that a needed to be made, however Chris did a big clear out of the whole house and git rid of a lot of random stuff that he didn’t need to declutter and make way for Maddie’s stuff so she doesn’t have to get rid of anything.

How do they organise their books/DVDs/CDs? Are they kept separate, or together? Alphabetically? By genre? They don’t have many DVD’s, Harper got Netflix a few years back and they use that most of the time, but the DVD’s they do have are organised alphabetically

How many kinds of milk will you find in their fridge? Two, light and full cream/creamer. Maddie can’t stand stomach full cream dairy products and Chris can’t have his coffee without full cream/creamer.

Do they know each others’ tea/coffee orders? Can they make it well? They do. They make each others if they’re the first up. Steve does coffee with sugar and butter which makes Harper’s stomach churn. Harper likes green or fruit tea. She can’t stand coffee. Loves the smell of it though.

Who forgets there’s wet laundry in the washing machine and leaves it till it smells funky? Probably Maddie.

Who never stacks the dishwasher ‘right’, and who always ‘fixes’ it? Neither, they don’t have a dishwasher. Harper’s been trying to convince Steve to get one but he argues it’ll be a waste since it’s just the two of them.

How do they decide which photos are on display? They don’t really have a system for deciding. It’s more a case of they print the photos they like the best and add them to their ever growing photo wall in their living room.

Is this their dream home, or do they plan to move again someday? They love their place. It belonged to Steve’s parents. He grew up in it and they hope to raise raise their children in it. They have no plans to move.

How do they divide the chores up? Does each person stick to their agreed job? They’re both pretty good at dividing everything fairly evenly. They don’t really have set cores they each do, more of they just do a chore if/when they see it needs doing.

Who’s always turning the thermostat down? Who’s always turning it up? They don’t have a thermostat. Their house was built in the late 70’s/early 80’s and nobody ever got round to upgrading the heating and cooling.

Do they rent, or own their place? They live in the home Chris owns in LA. Maddie also owns her apartment in Vancouver which she plans on renting out if/when she leaves Supernatural.

How long were they a couple before they moved in together? They were together for about eight months before Harper moved in with Steve

Who’s bed/couch/fridge did they keep, or did they buy a whole new one? They kept all of Chris’ stuff because it was already there and Maddie was living with Seb so it made no sense to take the fridge and couch. She did leave her bedroom

Who’s more likely to lock themselves out? Neither, they both know how to pick locks.

Who’s more likely to invite other people over? Chris. It’s not uncommon for Maddie to get home to find him in the backyard cooking on the BBQ with a few friends or Scott having a beer.
