On the second flag, the top three stripes form a gradient from dark blue to soft blue, the middle two stripes are black and white, and the bottom three stripes form a gradient from soft orange to dark red. End description.]

right: maindox.
feindox, also known as girldox, is an othellic-in-nature (link) term for when one's gender simultaneously is and is not female-in-nature or female-aligned. one's relation to being a girl, woman, or female-aligned feels paradoxical.
maindox, also known as boydox, is an othellic-in-nature term for when one's gender simultaneously is and is not male-in-nature or male-aligned. one's relation to being a boy, man, or male-aligned feels paradoxical.
"feindox" and "maindox" are derived from "FEIN" meaning "female-in-nature" and "MAIN" meaning "male-in-nature" respectively, and "-dox" from paradox.
these terms were originally coined on our old blog, @vesivampire-archive; feindox was coined here (link), and maindox was coined here (link). the old flags and definitions are fine for personal use, but these should be considered the main/"official" flags and definitions.

Pxnothellic & Plexspirellic
Pxnothellic - A term for being pxngender (also known as panagender / apangender) but specifically in an othellic way. In which one is both agender / has no gender and is also pangender / all the genders or any other form of pxngenderness.
Whether that be because be because they consider their pxngenderness to be a contradiction, impossible or paradoxical; or it feels like a never-ending loop; or the parts of their identities feel like inversions, mirrors or reflections of each other; or anything else that makes it feel like pxngender falls under othellic.
Plexspirellic - A gender under the Othellic and Spiralline umbrellas that is ever changing and always shifting. It contains multitudes yet is also singularity, it is paradoxes and infinite branching fractal versions of itself. Being told what it is or what it is ‘supposed’ to be will make it appear as such until the next time; it plays the role that is ‘expected’ of it. You never know what it actually is just what it has been made to be, disruptions to your sense of self.

Think you know what characters inspired these terms? Feel free to send me your guesses! Any time from now until ~5 days after the end of the event (Dec 24th 2023) ^^

INFRATRAST .
— an othellic neogender linked to the harsh contrasts between black and white . there is no grayscale in this gender, and may be linked to feelings of absolutes and unreasonable certainty . there is This , and there That . nothing in this world can bridge that gap .
— infrared + contrast .
— not a req .
FLAG : @epikulupu . TERM : UNKNWN @ 02/07/22 .
Edit ; added further clarification to the definition of this term . !

lindox.
[Image description: Two similar flags, each with eight stripes of varying sizes and the black and white othellic symbol in the center. On both flags, the top and bottom three stripes are the same size, and the center two stripes are thinner.
On the first flag, the top three stripes form a gradient from dark pink to peach, the middle two stripes are black and white, and the bottom three stripes form a gradient from soft cyan to blue. On the second flag, the same colors are used, but with the blue tones at the top and the pink tones at the bottom. End description.]
left and right flags are interchangeable.
lindox, also known as boygirldox or girlboydox, is an othellic-in-nature term for when one's gender simultaneously is and is not androgynous-in-nature or androgynous-aligned. one's relation to being an androgynous-in-nature gender (such as androgyne, boygirl/girlboy, femache, etc.) or androgynous-aligned feels paradoxical.
"lindox" is derived from "LIN" meaning "androgynous-in-nature" and "-dox" from paradox.
the definition and flags were updated on oct. 4th, 2023. the old flags and definition can be found below and are fine for personal use, but these updated versions should be considered the main/"official" flags and definition.
[Image description: Two similar flags, each with eight stripes of varying sizes and the black and white othellic symbol in the center. On both flags, the top and bottom three stripes are the same size, and the center two stripes are thinner.
On the first flag, the top three stripes form a gradient from bright red-pink to peach, the middle two stripes are black and white, and the bottom three stripes form a gradient from soft teal to blue. On the second flag, the same colors are used, but with the blue tones at the top and the red tones at the bottom. End description.]
the original definition read as follows: "an othellic-in-nature gender where one simultaneously is and is not lingender and/or androgynous-aligned. one's relation to androgyny and/or androgynous-alignment feels paradoxical."
