when you first told him about your friends leaving you out, he thought you were joking, so he brushed it off, but when he actually saw it...pissed was a understatement.

He didn't want to be here in the first place, but you were so excited for him to meet your "friends", so he gave in, and let you drag him out.

But he could himself getting angrier and angrier everytime your friends would ignore something you say, or started an entire conversation WHILE you were speaking.

"princess, let's go do something else, they're clearly busy with each other, next time just go on a date with each other, don't invite my girlfriend just to leave her out."

TXT when Someone Badmouths You

Pairing: OT5! TXT x Fem! Reader

Genre: Slight angst, fluff. Hurt to comfort.

Synopsis: How the boys would react when they hear and see someone badmouthing you, their lovely girlfriend.

Warnings: Some jerks bullying you for different reasons. Implied chubby reader for Yeonjun and Soobin, and somewhat body shaming for theirs too. I think that’s it? Please let me know if I missed anything.

A/N: Guess who made this instead of their thesis??? Meeeeeee! Anyways hope you guys enjoyed this, especially cause I made it on the fly. Also got a bit carried away with beomgyus lol

Yeonjun

Yeonjun decided to go out to take you shopping being the fashonistas you two are. While you’ve always loved clothes and fashion, it was always a bit of a struggle to find your size here in Korea, no actually it was a pretty big struggle, but Yeonjun never minded.

He just wanted to spend time with you and spoil you with whatever you wanted. If the store didnt have your size he’d just look for it online or actually have it custom made. Just for you. Whatever you wanted, its yours in less than a week. You were always grateful for that.

However it still bothered you a bit. It was also always quite embarrassing when you have to walk out of the dressing room to tell him the biggest size didnt fit you. It also doesn’t help when the store clerks are not so subtly or quietly poking fun at you.

“I don’t know why she even tries”

“I know right? Why is he even with her?? Like he clearly takes care of himself. Why can’t she do the same?”

“He deserves so much better.”

Yeonjun obviously heard it too, he isn’t deaf, nor blind cause he sees the looks they give you. He especially sees the small frown that you’re trying so desperately to hide.

“Hmm MY pretty baby” he says as he holds your cheek. “This store is too inclusive huh? How about we just leave and find a better store that values you more, hmm?”

“No yeonjun it’s ju-“

“Hush.” He cuts you off. “This store is clearly not a good one. Cause every good store should always carry beautiful people’s sizes which includes you and they must have RESPECTFUL. Staff too. Don’t you think so pretty baby?” He says as he leans into you.

“I-I guess..?” You say shyly, trying to ignore the harsh glares you’re getting.

“Well thats what I think baby. Come on! Lets find a better store and never come back here, okay beautiful?” He asks as he pats your head.

“Okay” you smile at him.

Before you two leave though, he pulls you in even closer and gives you such a passionate kiss, completely reassuring that he finds you so gorgeous and he doesn’t care what people say about you.

And without your knowledge he also opens his eyes to make eye contact and practically glare at the rude staff that was standing behind you. Seeing their reaction also causes him to smirk into the kiss.

He then pulls away and happily takes you away from that store. Constantly holding you close, to reassure you that he loves your body just the way it is, and he could never be ashamed of you, especially with how firmly and proudly he’s holding on to you.

“Thank you baby” you say as you snuggle into him.

“No one messes with my pretty baby. Remember that.” He said with his charming smirk.

Soobin

You literally only told him you think the weather feels perfect today, and he suddenly already had a picnic basket packed. So here you are now, at the park having a nice picnic with your lovely boyfriend. While he did pack some food from home, you two also went to your local bakery to pick up some of the most delicious bread and pastries ever. You kind of went overboard with how much you bought but you two wanted to have fun and enjoy your day with great food, if you still had some left you can easily bring them home. So it didn’t matter to the both of you.

That is until another couple who were also having a picnic nearby decided to stare at you and the large amount of food you two had. They were far enough to where you could barely hear what theyre saying, but unfortunately you could still hear. Even if you couldn’t the judgmental looks they gave you, and only you, said it all.

“Can you believe how much she’s eating?”

“Mhm. It’s just all pure carbs and sugar too.”

“Could she be anymore unhealthy? She’s eating so fast too.”

You were trying so hard to ignore it and were just about to take another bite of the croissant you got until you heard they made another comment and even laughed at you. You really did try so hard to ignore it and tried to take that bite but it just felt so humiliating. So you bit your lip and slowly put the croissant down. Soobin on the other hand quickly took the croissant again and put it back up to your mouth.

“Aaah!” He said smiling

“Oh.. Soobin I’m ful-“

“Don’t make me shove this in your mouth princess” he cut you off with another cheeky smile.

“Soobin..”

God the look in your eyes was so heartbreaking to him.

“You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen okay? We also came here to have fun and eat well. I want you to eat well beautiful, and I also want you to have the happiest tummy ever. Please don’t let anyone stop you. Besides, good food makes you happy. And I also want you happy. So please.. Aaaah?” He said, staring straight into your eyes with the purest look ever.

How could you ever deny that? So with a smile you took the bite you did so desperately wanted. With that it made his smile even bigger. He then also took a bite. Since then he continues to feed you, showering you with encouragement and also continues to eat with you too to make you not feel alone. You could never feel alone with him, but he wanted to make sure you knew that.

“Thank you my love.”

“Of course darling”

By the end you were so incredibly happy and so was your tummy.

Beomgyu

It’s been a while since you had a date with your boyfriend due to your busy schedules. So when said schedules finally calmed down, you two were very excited to get to finally meet up at your favorite cafe and catch up. Unfortunately you were running a bit late so Beomgyu was already sitting and sipping at his coffee when you arrived. You quickly ordered before sitting down across from him.

“Beomieee! Oh I’m sorry!” You apologized

“It’s okay sweetheart, you’re here now and thats all that matters.” He said with his usual cheeky smile on his face.

The cafe was quite packed, so it was pretty noisy but you two were able to drown everything out with your conversations. You both missed each other very much. Due to the busy cafe it also took a while for your order to get done. By the time it was you and beomgyu decided to continue your date at a nearby park and have a nice walk. He had to use the bathroom first though, and you had to get your drink. So thats what you two did.

Unfortunately for you though, just after you got your drink, you accidentally slipped and caused your coffee to spill a little bit onto the shoes of a nearby customer.

“Oh my goodness I’m so sorry!! I didn’t mean to-“

“Are you fucking kidding me?!?! You bitch!!! These are brand new and now theyre ruined!”

“I didn’t mean to! I’ll pay to have them cle-“

“God you’re so fucking stupid! Didn’t you hear me they’re ruined! How can someone be so clumsy?! There wasn’t even anything there!! Fucki-“

“Oh sweetheart whats going on- WOOOOOAAHHHHH!!!” Beomgyu suddenly showed up out of nowhere and then (purposely and quite dramatically) fell and also spilled his coffee on this customer, though this time it spilled on the rest of their outfit too.

“WHAT THE FUCK!” They yelled and you could only cover your mouth in shock.

“Dang these floors are so slippery! don’t you think?? Everyone be careful okay!!” He chuckled as he still stayed there on the floor.

“Beomgyu are you okay??” You asked as you helped him up.

“Are you?” He asked concerned as he held onto you softly.

“Are you fucking kidding me?!? You just ruined my outfit!!!” This customer bellowed before you even had the chance to answer him.

“And you yelled at my lovely girlfriend for a simple accident. Listen, you have every right to be upset. it’s understandable. Hell she would’ve been upset if you did the same to her. However you had NO. Right to yell at her and talk to her the way you just did. She said she was sorry yet you still found it necessary to berate her in front of everyone. So yeah. I find it necessary to have the rest of your tacky outfit ruined. Even though what I did was an accident too.” He said with a smirk, clearly showing everyone who was still watching, that it was in fact NOT an accident.

“But yknow what? Here.” He explained before opening his wallet and throwing a good couple of bills at them. “Take this to go get those cleaned, or yknow, get better clothes that not only look better but wouldn’t be ruined by simple coffee. Come on my sweet.” He continued as he lead you to the door of the cafe.

And with that the both of you left.

“You okay darling?”

“Yea.. but you shouldn’t have done that beomie” you pouted at him. “I mean thank you! But ruining their outfit was-“

“Sorry to say sweetheart but I couldn’t care less about their outfit. Whoever is mean to my girl especially over something so trivial deserved that kind of treatment okay? I’ll always stick up for you my sweet. Never forget that. Plus, it waaaaas an accident” he said with his cheeky smile again. While you still felt a little bad, you could only chuckle and roll your eyes at this silly boy you call your lovely boyfriend.

“Thank you once again my prince” You said after giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek.

“For whaaat? It was an accident!”

“Oh stop it!!” You laugh

“You’re welcome my sweet”

Taehyun

You were never the biggest fan of the gym, however you always note that it’s not that bad. It gets you healthier when you need to feel like it, gets you to get out of the house a bit more and best of all, you get to spend time with your gym rat of a boyfriend. Who you love to look at when he’s all sweaty.

You don’t come as often as he does, you only join him like about twice or week sometimes once. Sometimes it’s even once a month but you still go occasionally. Just to fill in some gaps in your schedule. Furthermore because you’re not the biggest fan of the gym, you do usually only very light workout, again just to get your heart pumping and muscles moving, and usually people don’t have an issue with that. You’re healthy and thats all that matters.

Yet for some reason some people decided to be very judgy today. Typically you always have your music playing to focus on yourself, but while you were taking a break and making light convo with your boyfriend, your ears couldn’t help but pick up the chatter of nearby gym goers that can’t mind their own business.

“She barely did anything here and she’s talking about leaving already?”

“And she wanted to get fried chicken too like dang that bare minimum of work out is really gonna go to waste huh?”

“Why is she even here?”

Taehyun who was putting on his hand wraps to have his boxing training session also couldn’t help but hear and lets say he wasn’t pleased. You took notice of that and simply patted his shoulders.

“It’s fine baby” You smiled at him.

“They shouldn’t be saying that.” He grumbled

“Hey its whatever..” You said trying to reassure him, but also yourself. ‘Cause to be honest, you couldn’t help but start to feel maybe you should workout a bit harder.

“No. Here baby put these on.” He said as he suddenly gave you some hand wraps too.

“Tyunnie, it-“

“No come one, lets have some fun” he cut you off with a smirk.

And how could you say no to that?

While you and Taehyun didn’t share your love of workouts or gym equipments, what you did share was your love for martial arts, specifically boxing. While Taehyun mainly did it for its physical benefits, yours was its mental benefits. It was kinda fun throwing punches and showing your strength that way, a good way to get all your anger and frustrations out too.

Plus when you first started doing it you realized you kinda had a knack for it too. So with Taehyun’s encouragement, and some slight anger towards those comments, you put on your gloves and started sparing with him. And let’s just say your punches and kicks were LOUD. People from across the room could hear and kinda feel it.

But mainly you and Taehyun just had fun, he constantly reassured you that you were doing a good job, you still had it, and he’s happy you’re here with him. Once you two were done, even though you were exhausted you two became a giggly mess. You quickly packed up and left to go home and still order some nice delicious fried chicken.

“Thank you baby” You said as you fed him some chicken.

“No worries my strong princess” He chuckled.

Hueningkai

You and your boyfriend, hueningkai, had many common interests, from movies to food, one of the cuter interests you two shared are plushies. You both just LOVE plushies. How fluffy they can be, how soft and squishy they are, their cuteness. Like whats not to love really? The amount of plushies you share is quite concerning but hey! They make you both happy!

Today you decided to go out to see a new movie that came out, but you still had some time before the movie started so you decided to look around the mall first. You had no destination in mind, just wanted to walk and talk with your boyfriend before, hopefully, enjoying this new movie.

However as you continued your stroll you came across a new store that had just opened and was filled to the brim with the cutest teddy bears you’ve ever seem, and they came in every size you can think of. From teeeeny tiny to massive teddy bears that fills the corner of the room. So without much thought and a huge gasp you dragged hueningkai inside to check it out.

Quite the understatement to say you were having a blast checking out all the adorable teddy bears they had. They even had clothes for these bears. However excited you were, you didn’t actually have the intention to buy any, but Hueningkai being the angel he is offered to get you one.

“Are you sure?”

“Oh come on its like you don’t know me. Come on I’ll get one for myself. Our teddy bears can be dating too!” He said with his angelic smile.

Now thats an offer you couldn’t refuse!

So you two picked out your teddy bears and dressed them in matching outfits. You then left making your way to the movie theater, as the movie would be starting soon, but you couldn’t stop giggling and hugging your bear. It was just so cute and fluffy. You still had your bear in your arms as you waited in line to get your snacks, when suddenly the people behind you started whispering.

“What a fricken weirdo.”

“I know right? What is she? 5??”

“Exactly! Like who the hell would willingly carry that around?”

“Why would you still even want one at her age?”

Then it was followed by snickers. It made you gulp and as much as you hate to admit it, embarrassed. You were never ashamed of your love for plushies but hearing that just isn’t nice. You started to slowly try to put your plushie back into the bag the store gave you, when Hueningkai gave your hand a firm squeeze.

“Oh look honey, it’s our turn. So what do you two want?

“I.. huh? Us two?” You looked at him confused.

“Yeah! You and this cutiepie! And what should I get him too?” Hueningkai explained as he pinched your cheek, the teddys nose and then pulled out his own too.

“O-oh!” You giggled before answering what you wanted, and just some gummies for the plushies.

“What a great idea!” He added before ordering, then carrying the snacks for you, and sweetly asking you to carry his teddy for him.

As you two made your way to your designated theater you did catch the judging eyes of the people behind you.

“You didn’t have to do that you know hyuka” You pouted.

“Do what?” He asked with a tilt of his head.

“You know.. now those people think you’re a weirdo too”

“Why should we care? I don’t feel like a weirdo for liking cute soft things, and neither should you honey. These things make us happy! I don’t think we’re weird for that, and hey if it is, lets be weirdos together hmm?” He said, again with that angelic smile and a cute raised eyebrow. And you know, he’s right.

“You’re right, these cuties do make us happy.”

“Mmmmhm! So lets go! The movie is about to start!”

“Okay! Oh! And thank you hyuka”

“Anything for my cutie”

chalk art contest!!!, loves seeing you in flowy dresses, takes you to SO MANY FLOWER FARMS, feeding the ducks at your local park, but your highlight of spring HAS to be picking blueberries at the blueberry farm, he absolutely adores the smile on your face while making little pastries with him after, "look at this blueberry! its so dark it kinda looks like your boba eyes, tae..." then gives you the most endearing smile known to mankind.

kai ; autumn

PLEASE TAKE HIM ICE-SKATING ITS SO FUNNY (you kinda feel bad for him when he falls), takes you on dainty little picnics under the amber leaves!!, usually its staying home and being in each others presence, also watching anime together but its at 2am and yall are just giggling to yourselves while watching haikyuu, holds your hand then puts your laced hands in his pocket. <3

YEONJUN gets you material things, mostly, aside from his love for you.

He would definitely get you something you’ve been dying to buy for yourself; it’s either you haven’t saved enough for it yet or it isn’t a priority as of right now. He knows that, and he’s more than pleased to buy whatever you want and anything you don’t need, but insists you do.

Yeonjun walks up to you while you’re seated, focused on a mundane task. It sucks to be busy on the day of your birthday, so he does his best to put a smile on your face, even the slightest. Yeonjun lets out a noise in greeting to get your attention and you whip your head, eyes immediately aligning with the gift wrapped item. You look up at him with an adoring look, honestly not expecting anything too grand for your birthday. He barely gets to open his mouth before you get ahead of yourself. “Yeonjun…”

The patterned paper hides a box, not too big that he hides behind it, but not too small that his hands completely cover it. It’s now in your hands and you can’t help but bite your lower lip out of anticipation.

“Open it!” You’re easy to talk to, so you do as he says. You’re shocked because not only did he get you the very expensive thing you wanted, the box is filled with other individually packed little things for you. You were frozen in place.

He preens, giggling at your reaction, enough for you to snap out of your trance. You abruptly stand up, mindlessly shoving the box on your desk, kissing his face while thanking him repeatedly. “I love you. Nothing but the best, for the best.”

SOOBIN handwrites you a letter. And something else.

The gesture he does goes a long way, especially if you’re a very sentimental person. He would give you a handwritten letter, everything he wants to express to you in three papers filled back-to-back with beautiful words. He tells you that the three pages weren’t enough for him, but was worried you’d get tired of reading. You probably wouldn’t.

After you carefully fold the letter and place it back into the white envelope embellished with your name at the back and a little Pokémon sticker to seal it, you turn in your seat to face Soobin again. He mustn’t have heard you shift since he’s stuffing his face with your birthday cake, not realizing you’re finally looking at him. He munches to himself and it takes him about two whole minutes to notice. Slowly giving you an unintentional side eye, he’s surprised to catch your own.

“What are you...? Oh! You finished the letter. What d’you think?” The affection he’s showered in says enough, but Soobin’s still hiding another gift behind him. He tries to get you off him for a moment and you complain that it’s too early to stop appreciating him.

“Wait! Before we continue, I have one last gift. Close your eyes and put out your hands.”

You, although suspicious, oblige. The thing he drops into your hands feels like it's in a small mesh pouch with something that has the slightest weight to it inside. He tells you to open your eyes.

“I know you like keychains, so I got you one of me!” You look up at his real face, blinking. “Now, I’ll be wherever you go.” He continued.

You supposed the thought was sweet…

You feel like BEOMGYU's courting you all over again with his guitar skills.

He's naturally a very playful person, but when it comes to important occasions— especially yours— he can and will take them super seriously. Being his other half meant that he knows your likes and dislikes, including your favorite song. Ever since you’d told him, he started learning the chords of the tune on his acoustic guitar to a T. He was so excited to finally play it to you, and get you to cry. Half-kidding, of course…

Beomgyu pulls you out onto the garden rooftop with the sun setting in the background. It’s perfect, the both of you think to yourselves and Beomgyu gives himself a mental pat of the back. A chair designated for you awaits in the middle and you make a beeline to it, not noticing Beomgyu suddenly going missing; the moment you do is when you’re settled. And in the same second, you hear a familiar intro on the strings. You gasp, looking for the source of the melody.

“Is that—?”

You’re impressed with the way he walks from behind you, to your right, and lastly in front of you all while strumming the song’s intro. He gives you a homey smile, and from your seat, you feel the warmth emitting from it engulf you. “Happy birthday. I’ve learned this song ever since you told me you loved it.”

He gets past the intro, singing and playing the song so beautifully, and you’re left wondering how in the world you were so lucky to have him in your life.

Beomgyu got what he wanted, you were in tears by the end of it.

TAEHYUN isn't big with words, but his actions speak louder.

Among the members, he would realistically be the only one to take you out on a proper date on your special day. Not to say that the others’ actions aren’t thoughtful, he’d just want to spend some quality time while spoiling you. A little change of pace and environment. He wouldn’t be one to give you a long sappy message, but he’ll show you how much you mean to him through his actions.

Taehyun has heard you talk about this restaurant in passing before, mentioning how your friends thought you’d enjoy the food a lot, but weren’t able to as you have a certain budget for a night out. He didn’t tell you where he was taking you, just to dress nicely, so it was safe to say you were surprised to hear the name of the place when a waiter greeted you both. The moment you sat down at your reserved table, you couldn’t help your string of questions.

“I— how’d you know I’ve wanted to try it here? How’d you get a table? I couldn’t possibly let you pay for the bill!”

He chuckles at your shock, holding your hand across the table, effectively pulling you back down to the ground. “Calm down, babe, we just got here. Don’t worry about the bill, it is your birthday, after all.”

You wanted to protest again, but he pulls the “ah, ah, ah!” card when he sees your mouth open again, so you ultimately let him go on with his plans to treat you. “Thank you. This is perfect.”

Little did you know, he has a little surprise in his back pocket; it’s the necklace you eyed during your last date, with his and your initials carved at the back of the little pendant.

(“Kang Taehyun, you did not!”

“Oh but for you, I always will.”)

HUENINGKAI is soft for you, just like the plushie he got you.

He's out in the mall the day before your birthday to find a gift for you; he’s been pacing around the mall, worried that you might not like whatever he’ll get you. Poor Kai just wants to get you something perfect. Ultimately, after the most stressful hour of his entire life, he steps into a cute little store with the most adorable trinkets and plushies.

Something I can work with, Hueningkai tells himself while looking around diligently. His pacing is a little slower than earlier, his nervousness dissolving with every step. After a little bit, he stops in his tracks when he spots the cutest thing he has ever seen in his life and it immediately reminds him of you. He hit the jackpot.

The only thoughts going through his head as he walks to the counter are about what you’d think about the gift, how you’d react, what you’d do. This precious boy is so in love with you, please never break his heart.

Kai, out of question, would be the first to wish you a happy birthday. He came over to your’s an hour before, doing his best attempt at hiding his gifts from you. You noticed, but didn’t have the heart to tell him. Eventually, after hanging out a bit, he excuses himself to “go to the restroom” at around 11:57 P.M. In reality, he goes straight to your kitchen to light the candles and turn off the main living room lights. As he’s singing to you at exactly midnight, carefully bringing you the cake he got, you admire the way the candlelights illuminate his face. He’s ethereal. “Make a wish!”

You blow out the fire. He rushes to turn on the lights again and comes back with a poorly, yet endearingly, wrapped plushie.

Your face lights up when you finally see it, hugging it tightly. “Wah, it’s so cute! Thank you, Hueningie, I love it; I love you!” He sighs in relief, feeling silly for worrying so much.

days where he’s able to have off and be able to go on a date with you rarely came by... the same time that you were feeling a bit off. not off as in something detrimental had happened but... you know, those one-off days where you wake up and feel like the world absolutely sucked no matter how you tried to reshape your view. that led you to call him; to let him know that you didn’t feel up to the date you had planned and...

[🐰] soobin soobin responds in a way that makes your heart flutter despite the lingering heaviness around you. he’s gentle, understanding, even asking you can i still come and see you? he arrives with a minute to spare than his estimated time. he’s got a bunch of snacks in his bag pack, some of your favourites, some of his; altogether he’s ditching it by the side of your door as he pulls you into a hug that melts you to your knees. sits with you quietly, just co-existing. every now and then he’s checking on you with a worried gaze during a show you’ve put on the television but easily smiles when you still have the energy in you to smile at him with a hand cupping his cheek. rests easy when you nap against him and he’ll admit it–this was better than the planned date, anyway; just as long as he was with you.

tl;dr: soobin will be more than happy just staying at home with you as long as he gets to be with you. as a homebody-person, he 100% appreciates being at home, anyway. however, knowing that you were feeling down, activates his caring mode to the max. expect this man to try to take care of you to his best abilities. snacks? gotchu. cuddles? say no more. rather than using words to make you feel better, he’ll definitely show it in his actions.

[🦊] yeonjun yeonjun’s mind jumps to the worst possible scenario to why you’re feeling the way you’re feeling. had something happened? did something upset you? did he do something or was it something he didn’t do? when you reassure him that it was nothing in particular, just... one of those days, he understands immediately. “...is it okay if i still come over? just wanna see you, wanna be with you.” honestly, there was no way you could turn him down, you monste–he shows up with flowers and it puts a smile to your face despite the world not giving you reasons to today. he’d gush over you and shower you with compliments to make you feel shy, and to top the icing on the cake the second he sees you smile, he’d say: “ah... look at that pretty smile. that’s all i ever ask for.”

tl;dr: man’s freaking out the moment you want to cancel the date out of fear he was the reason why but is relieved when you explain to him of the reason why... only for him to get worried about you soon after. the moment he gets to see you, though, he’ll try to use his words as a way to make you feel better. compliments? you’re drowning in them. words of encouragement? yeonjun would never let you doubt yourself again. yet, in the midst of all this, he’d try to get you to speak about your feelings so he can try to make you feel better. and if you didn’t feel like talking, he’ll be more than glad to just sit there with you and have you in his arms.

[🐯] beomgyu beomgyu playfully whines that he’s been wanting to go out with you and take pretty pictures but is quick to read the tone of your voice when you explain to him that you weren’t feeling a 100% today rather than you calling it off as lazy. he tells you that he’ll be over in an hour, to which you didn’t have room to reject him (not that you were going to, you wanted to see him, anyway). he shows up a little bit earlier than he had predicted and you’re surprised at the way he was able to get your favourite takeout, a singular heart balloon accompanied with a small bouquet of dried flowers. “just because you didn’t want to go out on a date, doesn’t meant that the date can’t come to you.” has this shit-eating-grin on his face when he sees you getting emotional at what he’s done but falls to your mercy as he sets everything down so he can hug you.

tl;dr: this guy puts the ‘a’ in ‘romantic’, because he’s ALL about trying to use romantic gestures as a way to make you feel better. if you’re not up to go out on a date? say no more, he’ll bring it to you, instead. though, don’t get fooled with the gestures he’s pulling, it doesn’t steer him away from comforting you with just his presence alone; hugging you, kissing you, cuddling you until you feel better. you don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to because all he wants to do is be there with you.

[🐿] taehyun taehyun would try not to sound disappointed (only because he wanted to see you) and would ask if you wanted space to be alone. when you sound hesitant, that’s when he’ll ask if he can come by to see you or if you wanted to come by the dorm instead. whichever it is, taehyun would get you to open up and allow yourself to feel the emotions you feel, then slowly pick you up from there. he’ll still try to cheer you up, but he would want you to feel free in what you feel and not pretend around him. and if all you wanted was for him to hold you, that’s exactly what he’ll do.

tl;dr: his advancements might seem cold compared to the others but he only has your best intention at heart. he wouldn’t try to push to be affectionate, knowing that’s not what would help you at the moment but he would be there with you, quietly supporting you as you felt the emotions you felt. when it seems like you’re feeling a bit better, that’s when he’ll kick in his affectionate side and smother you with affections–cue taehyun clinging onto you like a koala.

[🐧] kai kai would initially sound like he’s whining because of the cancelled date, but you come to find out that it’s only because he misses you and wants to spend time with you. when you tell him that it’s only the date that’s cancelled and you’d still want to see him, boy, this boy flies to your place at the speed of light. he’ll remember to bring a snack or two, maybe even bubble tea of your liking, but most importantly, you greet the door with a cute plushie in your face; one of the tens upon twenties from his dorm that he gives to you as a way to be there for my favourite person, protect them with all your cuddly might. as you hold the plushie in your hands, your heart grows soft but you would ask kai to hug you instead; to which he does very willingly.

tl;dr: say no more, this boy will be right over with a plushie and he makes you keep the plushie at your place, telling you to sleep with it because it’ll make your heart feel better. as he cuddles you, he’ll make you cuddle the plushie and it’s a cuddle-ception. though playful, he’ll then get to the quiet moments and start asking if you wanna talk about your feelings. whichever you chose to do, be it talk to your heart’s content or stay in silence with him, it doesn’t matter as long as you held onto that plushie, and he holds onto you in the process.

Friday means WIP day

Censored for tumblr-safe audiences, this is the current WIP section of my endless ot5 series. (There’s a nsft section directly before this, but the important part to know is that it’s a little Ben/Carlos ice cream date and they’re having a great time and no angsty plot-relevant conversations happened directly before this :) )

“Do you want to try a bite?” Ben tries instead, holding out his ice cream. It’s pretty good. His pack only ever shares food with each other, but he gets to be a part of that now, because they’re his. And he’s theirs. And sometimes, when the stars and their schedules align, he gets to take one or more of them out on ice cream dates in town, because his people deserve to have nice things like ice cream and time spent in the sun, and Ben can help give that to them.

Carlos takes Ben’s wrist to steady the cone. “You’re too kind.” he says drily, and takes a bite out of the side of it. Not a giant bite, like Mal would take when she feels like being annoying, but a normal-sized bite, appropriate to have when you’re sharing with a close friend. Because they’re in public, and they’re good friends, who are having new experiences together.

The ice cream is pink, and there’s a little smear of it on Carlos’s lip as he lets go of Ben’s wrist and does something very important and attention-worthy with the ice cream in his mouth. Or maybe it’s not attention-worthy, and Ben just likes looking at his mouth.

Either way.

“Right. Uh, I give this flavor a ten out of ten.” Ben says, in the most normal possible way. “It’s really good. I think I’ll get it with the blueberry drizzle next time.”

“Yeah? What flavor is it?” Carlos asks. His eyes are bright, like he’s teasing, and he knows that Ben’s distracted by the gorgeous curve of his mouth. Like he knows Ben won’t remember the answer. “If it’s so good, maybe I’ll try it next time.”

“Strawberry…cheesecake?” Ben guesses. It’s strawberry something, and it really is good. If they were going directly back to school, he’d bring some home for Mal to try.

“Shortcake?”

Oops. “Right, that’s the one. It really is good. You can steal another bite if you want.”

“Hmm,” Carlos makes a considering noise, and then takes a huge, crunching bite of his own cone instead. “Noted. Can we head on soon? I wanna get some of the stuff in the toy store for Jay.”

“Sure. Am I funding this adventure?”

Carlos blinks at him. “Do you want to help me cover Jay in silly string?” he asks finally, with the general tone of someone who is talking to a particularly stupid child. “If you’re too busy I can buy a can or two myself.”

“With the size of cans these days, I think you’ll need at least four to cover him entirely,” Ben says thoughtfully. “Unless that’s not the goal, in which case I still think you should buy at least four cans, because then you can plant the extras in the girl’s room and try to divert any revenge onto them.”

Carlos grins, and it feels like Ben’s heart is going to burst. Like this is it, this is where he’s meant to be, and what he’s meant to be doing. “Unbelievable!” he crows, voice rising in a familiar teasing cadance. “I cannot believe that the king of Auradon would stoop so low as to try and frame an innocent bystander for his crimes!”

“The girls are hardly innocent,” Ben points out, but he’s laughing now, and it’s hard to get the words out. “And I hardly think it’s a crime to cover your roommate in silly string when he so clearly deserves it.”

“That’s what you think!” Carlos crows, delighted and loud about it. “I’m hearing direct support from the kingdom of Auradon here!”

Ben swallows back his laughter. “Am I wrong?”

“Silly string is a crime worthy of a thousand prank-backs.” Carlos says seriously. “If you’re funding this, we’re getting enough for everyone, and it’s a war we’re starting.”

There’s a right answer here, and it’s obviously the one that’s going to end with silly string all over their rooms.

“Sure, I’ll start a war for you,” Ben says, like that’s a normal thing for him to say to anybody. It’s probably not something he should be saying so lightly, especially not in public, but it’s also true. He would start a war for any of them. He’s not exactly a perfect judge when it comes to the isle kids, but in his biased opinion, if there is anyone in the world who deserves to have people who are so devoted that they would start a war, it’s his family. “But I want no credit for whatever nonsense happens after we plant the extra cans around the school.”

Carlos grins up at him, close and warm and slightly sticky. “Does this make me Helen of Troy?”

“I don’t think I’m much of a Menelaus.”

“You can be Paris. Mal can be Menelaus, and you can steal me away from her and launch the war of a lifetime.”

“And the silly string….” Ben says, grinning back. “That’s just a casualty of the war?”

“Exactly. And you’re funding it, so let’s go before they sell out of purple.”
