My Hero Academia - Valentine's Day with Some Class 1-A Characters

Mina Ashido - I feel she'd take you out to the arcade, or somewhere that's fun and energetic, like her! But, being human, and knowing that you'd could have less energy than her, afterwards she'd order takeout, and have a nice cuddle session with you underneath a warm blanket.

Momo Yaoyorozu - I feel she'd want a quiet day with you, sipping some of both of your favorite tea, maybe watch some rom-coms with you. Her gift to you would be some jewelry, and a ring/necklace would have a special engraving to you, something like: "Our love is something special, and we created together! Y/N x Momo/Creati <3"

Kyoka Jirou - She would be secretive of your actual gift for months, saying it's a big surprise. When the day finally comes, she'd grab a microphone, and sing you a beautiful song that highlights all the wonderful things about you, and how much she loves you for being you.

Ejiiro Kirishima - Now, he'll take you on a fun day at the amusement park. He's taken extra notice on what kind of rides you want to go on, and if he wants to go on one, and he's not sure if you'd enjoy it, he'll ask you first (he swears, he'll protect you from whatever comes your way, his shield is here for you!). For the night, there's an announcement that fireworks will light the sky soon, and he asks you if you'd want to kiss him to end this perfect night. He's over the moon when you say yes.

Mashirao Ojiro - He's worked hard, possibly extra hours for the two of you to have a wonderful date together, like an expensive restaurant and something you've been dying to go to. He just wants the day to be perfect, since he could be a bit insecure about being ordinary (he doesn't show you, but you have a sixth sense on when he's like this, the poor soul). When you reassure him he's always special to him, and whatever the two of you do together, his contribution and his love is absolutely enough, and that he is the best thing that's ever happened to you, his eyes light up, his smile widens, and his tail wags. He hugs you with arms and tail.

Katsuki Bakugou - At first, he'd pretend it wasn't Valentine's Day, since he's still got a reputation to uphold of being the toughest of the tough. However, he does send you a text message to meet later at his place. When you come in, he's prepared an big dinner and a nice bubble bath. You're surprised, and he's like "Tch! As if I'd forget about you. You think I'm that mean?", and he hands a whole set of "Love coupons", allowing the two of you to do whatever "lovey dovey" thing you want, no arguments. He'd never admit it, but he does love spending time with you on this special day.

AZUMANE ASAHI - a bottle of apple juice but then he gets laughed at so he puts it back and orders a hot honey citrus tea

NISHINOYA YUU - grape frappuccino with extra whipped cream and pistachios on top

TANAKA RYUNOSUKE - bro gets a chocolate croissant and an iced water usually, but sometimes he'll get hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and a warmed cheese danish with strawberry jam on top on the side when he's in a good mood

Also I think it is kind of funny that Quirklessness doesn’t have a major historical presence other than, you know, killing the Mother of Quirks. No Quirkless militia, or Quirkless hate groups. Just Midoriya having a really shitty childhood, presumably Yagi also having one too, and Melissa being pitied.

okay, something tells me this ain’t gonna be about her specifically”- I mean, in a sense, their backstories are meaningfully intertwined about the same event, with each one having a knock-on effect on the other, pushing them forward into becoming better heroes with their attempts to emulate the heroism and effort they see in each other, so it’s kinda impossible to separate them. They even have contrasting abilities, Kirishima hardens himself from the outside-in, mina softens things around her in an external matter.

2) “DAMMIT MINA EVEN GOT AN ABOMINATION SHIPPED STRAIGHT FROM THE BOILING ISLES HOW IS THIS CHAPTER NOT ABOUT HER”- Well it is, it’s just that Mina’s still an ordinary girl underneath her bubbly peppy personality, and even she needs to be saved now and then…especially from old fears. 3) “Everyone that survived is alright? I already see that kaminari is need of a stone to the head to see if it puts his screws back into place, but seemingly everything is fine. ”- If you’re gonna die, at least you’ll appreciate the small comforts more on the way out. 4) “AND THERE GOES MY GIRL STRAIGHT INTO THE JAWS OF DEATH AFTER SHE GAVE A DEATH FLAG A FEW CHAPTERS AGO OKAY I’M STARTING TO THINK THAT OJIRO IS NOT THE PERSON I SHOULD BE WORRYING ABOUT RIGHT NOW”- The problem with the kids raising death flags all over the place is, the danger level is just so high – it’s impossible to tell who’s actually going to make it or not anymore until the dust settles and the bodies can be identified. I’m not even fully certain all of 1A will make it out of this, especially since Tomura’s being directed specifically to target one of them.

5) “DON’T- DON’T GIVE A MOTIVATIONAL INNER SPEECH WHEN YOU’RE ABOUT TO RUSH RIGHT INTO THIS MONSTER’S MOUTH MINA, DON’T DO THIS TO ME”- The panelling literally showing that Machia is the old fear that will freeze Mina in place when he speaks.

6) “It is a true fuckstorm over here jesus. The league is being pushed back and is about to be overrun, now only something truly horrible can save them from this pickle”- The walking act of god that was mindlessly steamrolling you before ‘waking up’ and actively targeting you fits the bill.

7) “DONT YOU FUCKING THROW THAT DEATH FLAG INTO ANOTHER PERSON MINA, COME THE FUCK ON!

I MEAN, I’M GLAD THAT YOU ARE DOING EVERYTHING TO SURVIVE THE GRIM REAPER, BUT THROWING IT INTO YOUR TEACHER’S BACK IS NOT COOL

THROW IT INTO MINETA INSTEAD, HE WAS LITERALLY RIGHT THERE”- That was actually Mineta speaking, and Mina remembering his words. When she says that she’s gotta ‘melt it away’, she means the uncertainty that’s handing over her and the others as to their teacher’s wellbeing, and the faint hope that she’s still alive, if they can just settle matters with Machia quickly enough and come to her aid. Whilst she seemed to brush it off before, Mina was actually doing the same thing she did with Machia before, putting on a brave and confident face to reassure others despite her own fears, taking the pressure off of others, but putting it all on herself instead…and that much pressure, in a crises moment, can cause you to unexpectedly crack at the worst possible moment.

8) “It is, of course, through, but I have a feeling those guys on your back wouldn’t enjoy the ride that much.”- The commandment he was given, empowering him like the voice of the lord himself, and whatever he has to do to fulfil that order filtered through his low-mind state. 9) “OH THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT GOOD

I HAVE A FEELING HE WASN’T REALLY CARING MUCH ABOUT THEIR ATTEMPTS TO STOP HIM, UNTIL NOW

So it was Machia back then? Oh, that’s interesting- a little worrisome that he was just walking around and nobody gave a shit, really worrisome I must say, as much as much as what he’s about to do now that he’s mad”- Machia’s a big guy, but for some inexplicable reason he has the weird ability to become absolutely undetectable and unseen by others for long periods of time, despite the fact that people should be searching for him and that he sticks out like a sore thumb. His ‘Mole’ and “energy saver” quirks are useful if he’s hiding for a long period in places like the mountains, but the guy just seems to somehow have the ability to just ghost around the place however he wishes when he’s not ordered by his master to wreak the joint in a loud and spectacular fashion – and we know what it’s not a Quirk he has either. Even more concerning is that he was on a direct mission from AFO at the time, which apparently succeeded, but again, nobody noticed it. AFO’s plans have proceeded like a dream so far, regardless of what the heroes did, but even at this late stage in the game, we still don’t know what they are really – it seemed like he wanted Tomura to actually succeed him as a villain in his own right, but now that he’s actively trying to overwrite his consciousness, that’s out the window, and it’s again unclear what goal he wants to achieve through all this chaos. 11) “I also remember that, you were terrified, but even so, you didn’t let that stop you Mina, and that was exactly what made Kirishima fall in love with you.”- That time, she had a few moment to mentally prepare herself. This time, in this split second, it catches her off-guard and the fear makes her freeze up and not be able to think straight.   12) “OH NO THAT AIN’T GOOD THE VISUAL METAPHOR OS REGRESSING TO THAT SCARED, YOUNGER SELF- THAT USUALLY COMES RIGHT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS THEIR SPINE CRUSHED IN HALF BY SOMEONE’S ELSE JAWS”- Mina thought she’d conquered her fear, but it was there all along, and it came back to haunt her at the worst possible second….luckily for her, there’s a guy in her corner who’s done nothing back face his fears head-on to become tougher for it all this time. 13) “Mt. YEET “- Her neck is almost certainly broken now. Machia is done being gentle.

Ojiro is a character who is in a world where people have outstanding quirks, even his classmates have extraordinary quirks! Meanwhile his quirk is just plain and simple, basically his quirk y just having a tail.

Ever since the beginning of the series I always wondered "wow, this dude has a plain quirk and yet he managed to qualify to the top tier Class 1-A" and later on he shows us how amazingly he uses his quirk to be a great hero!

He is very aware that his quirk is pretty normal, he even said once "I might seem more ordinary than the others... and I often think about how... my Quirk is pretty plain. But... I'm fine with that. Most of the world's pretty ordinary. In a way, that gives me... a grounded view. And the fact is... I'm proud of my Quirk."

I love Ojiro so much because he got me thinking, there's a lot of people in this world who feel like they are just plain and simple; Ojiro taught us that no matter how ordinary and simple we think we are in comparison to others, we can still be outstanding in ways we don't even know yet! You may feel like a pretty average person, but you have to believe in yourself and that there is really something special within you.

Many people discover their great qualities in arts, sports, science, math, literature etc… other people find their qualities in how they relate to others and provide emotional support, and other people find their talent in many other ways no one can imagine and that's even cooler!

He is the most ashamed of his thighs, genitalia and tail; however he is sometimes ashamed about his overall body type.

He has Body Dysmorphic Disorder and the symptoms he suffers most from are:

1) Constantly comparing his appearance with others

2) Being extremely preoccupied with a perceived flaw in appearance that to others can't be seen or appears minor

3) Strong belief that he has a defect in his appearance that makes him ugly or deformed

4) Belief that others take special notice of his appearance in a negative way or mock him.

5) Unstable self esteem

6) Intrusive Thoughts pertaining to oneself

His intrusive thoughts are him thinking about cutting off his tail, these thoughts terrify Ojiro to sleeplessness due to the pain he imagines along them.

Ojiro believes that he is feminine because he has a stocky, mildly toned body while having a pear-shaped body type

-He used to have Bulimia,he ate a bunch during school time ,but during vacations he would fasts and uses laxatives, but now he overzealously restricts his food.

-He is an only child

-He can play the Piano and viola.

-The reason Ojiro prefers "boring" and "bland" clothing is in hopes that he blends in too much into the background for anyone to notice how "ugly", "girly","inhuman" and "animalistic" he looks

He is worried about being too normal while also being afraid of looking too monstrous

Also, he hates being called ordinary because afterwards it always has some kind of back-handed compliment.

-Pretended to be mute in middle school because he was self-conscious of his voice

-Japanese Mythology and Martial-Arts expert

-His parents are divorced.

-constantly insult himself, afraid his class will see him as worthless

-He is very insecure about his body, because of his quirk. He has bumper than average skin and stretch marks.

which is why he designed his hero costume to show his a little breast region, he hopes to avert people’s attention away from his tail area (also because some Martial-Arts Gi do that).

-Ojiro’s father is a very insecure man, and he has high expectations of Ojiro because he believes in him so much.

-He is always praising Ojiro for everything. He tries to make his son feel better by insulting himself.

-His mother was always strict and always compared him to others. His Father does the opposite because he doesn’t want Ojiro to feel the way he did when his sister [Ojiro's Aunt] would do that.

-Because of this Ojiro is always second-guessing himself. His Father is always telling him he is perfect yet his Mother is always telling him to do more. he never knows if he is doing enough.

-Ojiro's dad uninteniolly insults people

Example:

“The pants doesn’t make you look any wider than usual." And Ojiro is usually the victim to these words.

-Ojiro likes trash music ironically like Nickel-back music or Everyday Bro

-He definitely browses reddit or tumblr just for fun

-Listens to podcasts as he cleans

-Ojiro loves break-dancing and Martial-Arts equally.

-Fast reflexes come from his practicing break dancing

-Strength comes from Martial-Arts and Table-Waiting.

-Ojiro would spend hours a day looking in the mirror feeling so off and uncomfortable with himself

-He would constantly compare himself to his other classmates; he saw everyone else as flawless and he felt like there was some kind of “flaw” he needed to fix in his appearance

-He would temporarily feel okay after he felt like he fixed what ever was bothering him but, soon after the anxiety would return and he would go back to trying to fix it

-He would be so preoccupied with his appearance that he would distant himself from the others; he feels as if they’ll make fun of him for the flaws he sees in himself

-This isnt the case at all, the other have actually noticed how distant Ojiro was being. He would avoid them and cover his face or look down at the ground when he passed them

-Ojiro's bdd ( body dysmorphic disorder ) even gets in the way of his love language . He wants to be hugged and things like that , but he feels like he can't . because if someone gets too close to him physically , they'll figure out his figure isn't so perfect.

The Ojiro vs Kaibara fight is freaking amazing. Really highlights how good Ojiro is of a martial artist, he's an expert and close hand to hand combat while highlighting how dangerous and good of an opponent Kaibara is.
