Story: 

Her parents died shortly after Orchidkit was born. She put her grief into working for her Clan. They were her family, and she would be the best warrior she could for them.

Unless that meant not taking a mate from another Clan. In a drought, Windclan was forced to drink from Riverclan’s water supply. During one of these trips with two of her Clanmates, she met Riverclan warrior Blizzardheart, a meeting that turned to mutual love at first sight.

It turns out the name suited the warrior just fine, because his heart was thrown all over the place, in Windclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan, and Thunderclan. Even a kittypet was growing his kits in her belly.

It stood to reason that Orchidtail was upset at this discovery. She broke it off quickly, ignoring him at gatherings, focusing her attention once more on her Clan, her friends, and her own happiness. It wasn’t the end of the world. 

But maybe it should’ve been. Her two friends, Harefoot and Pounceclaw, were killed by a rabid dog. Orchidtail wasn’t so lucky. It was a moon of laying in the medicine den before she was physically healed. Maybe things would be better again. But oh, did it seem like Starclan was against her.

Voices began to shout, words that she could hear but no one else could, ideas she had but no one else thought of. She had tried to ignore them at first, she really did. Clearly Riverclan was blocking their water supply! Clearly everyone at the gatherings were mocking her! Clearly Spottedstem, Pearflower, Minnowpelt, and Goldfish had seduced Blizzardheart and taken him from her. 

Clearly they had to die.

Pearflower was first. Orchidtail pinned her down and tore out her throat.

Spottedstem was second, her head bashed open with a rock.

Minnowpelt was next, held under the surface of the water her Clan kept Windclan from.

Lastly, there was sweet Goldfish. Her and the kits she held inside of her. The kits of warriors. She didn’t deserve to have such an honour. She died in her garden, with her throat slit open. 

There was one more to go.

Orchidtail went to the river. At this point-- long before this point, really--she was looking a wreck. Drool constantly dripped from her jaws, her body was always gaunt and skinny, as she never ate.

She confronted Blizzardheart and one of his Clanmates, where she let slip her crimes and the realization that Starclan would never accept her now. Believing her to be sick, Blizzardheart reached out to help her. Orchidtail refused, thinking it was a trick, and fell into the water.

She awoke in the Dark Forest. The voices were no longer there, nor were the horrible thoughts and thirst for blood. But she still had the memories of what she had done. Forced to sit in the dark, never able to take them back.

I was considering starting a comic about the dark forest in Warriors. There's not enough info about the forest and I thought it'd be kind of interesting to explore. So here's a maybe cover. On the cover we have Firefall (the ginger tom; ThunderClan) Blossomfeather (the orange and white she-cat; ShadowClan) and Orchidtail (the wet tortoiseshell she-cat; WindClan) Headcanon that will be featured is the cats are constantly reminded of the way they died. Orchidtail drowned that's why she's soaking wet. Sooo yeah here we go.

P.S. You said that sweet was a lesbian, so is it a poly that goes sweet<—>orchid<—>golden but not sweet<—>golden?

So okay and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but Sweetwhisker is just attracted physically to she-cat. So she would find Orchid attractive sexually but not find Goldenpelt attractive. However, romantically/friendship love wise she'd totally be all for the little gremlin. So I guess she's, what, panromantic?

I'm not sure what it's called but basically she's totally affectionate with him even though he's a guy but wouldn't like boink him because she's firmly attracted to females, if that makes sense?

Like with the exception of Mapleshade aren't all of the cats in the dark forest there because they wanted some kind of leadership? It's stupid. You can go to hell for different reasons.

Firefall wanted to be leader yes but he's in the dark forest because he killed cats because they pissed him off somehow. Snowstipe was ust his last victim. But let's move on

Blossomfeather killed for attention. Orchidtail killed because she was sick. Capeclaw (tried to kill) for revenge. It's really not hard to make villains that aren't one dimensional mwahaha I will have the throne types? I mean that works when it's one arc (Tigerstar, Brokenstar, etc) but when you've got a whole hellscape that works on the premise of "you're bad so you go to hell" does power really need to be the only reason?

Wonderful question.

Firefall could pound like millions of regular french fries. Just normal ones he doesn't need anything fancy. Put any seasoning on them other than salt and he will gut you.

Orchidtail loves waffle fries.

Owlwhisker likes mashed potatoes and and breakfast hashbrowns that Blossomfeather makes him.

Blossomfeather likes scalloped potatoes and mashed potatoes.

Nobody cares but my favorite are crinkle cut.
