A lot can happen in 1 minute
And the worst part was Bruce had not been able to do anything to stop the chaos as all of this started right in the middle of a Gala, his children and him attended.
Bruce could do nothing but watch with growing internal horror as he stared at what was happening before him, champagne glass still in hand.
It all started with a fanatic suddenly getting the entire galas attention. Screaming something about Bruce Wayne will fall for them as they slammed some sort of magic duck thingy on the ground.
A second later, John Constantine, off all people, appeared yelling about finally finding the lad that stole a highly dangerous artifact while green smoke rose towards the ceiling of the hall.
By now some guest have started screaming and started to evacuate while other appeared curious thinking this was some sort of show. And shamefully Bruce had to admit that he lost sight of his children during this.
Though not even 10 seconds after Constantines entrance Bruce spied one of his children, Nightwing, crashing into the hall in gear and tackling the fanatic that was now yelling something at the smoke about fulfilling their end of the deal and granting their wish of tying Bruce Wayne to them.
5 seconds later he noticed Constantine was chanting something and the gathering smoke below the ceiling now started to glow.
At this point Bruce really wanted to dip out and join the scene as Batman but was rooted in place by a buisness partner clinging to him and trying to pull him to safety.
Another 3 seconds passed, and the smoke glowed brightly in Lazarus green. Worried Bruce tried to at least find one of his other children aside from the one that was still wrestling with the fanatic and was internally horrified to make eye contact with a wide eyed Jason and his glowing green eyes.
In the following 7 seconds he had tried to get to his son, but before he could even manage to get rid of the buisness partner still holding on to him a bright light blinded everyone for another 4 seconds.
Once their sight returned it took them another 5 seconds to realize that one the smoke was gone, two John Constantine was cursing up a storm holding a black haired kid and three the fanatic used the light to escape.
There was a stunned silence of 3 seconds before John Constantine looked around the room and suddenly zeroed down on Bruce. Bruce did not stiffen as the Brite looked at him with narrowed eyes, then down at the teen in his arms before marching over to him within the next ten seconds.
"You! You're Bruce Wayne, right? Congratulations, you got another kid via magic now. Here is the kid and my card. Call me if anything weird is happening with them." Before Bruce could even say anything, the teen was disposed into his arms together with John's apparent business card. The magican turned away from Bruce before marching over to his son in gear and starting to drag him out.
"Nightwing! Help me catch this bloody magic thief before some other summoning shit with stolen artifacts to spice up another rich guys ball or whatever goes down! I got a tracker spell on them! And call Bats while you're at it"
Right at the one minute mark. The chaos concluded to the point that Bruce Wayne was standing in the middle of a gala with a teen in his arm that was apparently magically made to be his and the fanatics child.
That was when the next kind of chaos broke out as his reminding children fought their way over to him through the suddenly coming back to live press and reporters that started to bombard him with questions about the unconscious teen in his arms.

♡—Wesker was a sick man, he knew that, but Albert's darkest desires could not be ignored for long. He was your dad's co-worker, and to tell the truth, he hated the man, however, there was something about your father that interested him... You.
♡— Wesker, unfortunately for you, laid eyes on you, it was just small glances behind the dark lenses of his glasses, but soon after, you were already in the scientist's darkest thoughts. He thought you were a precious thing, a little pearl that needed to be protected by him, so he decided to get even closer to your dad, it was so easy to manipulate the man and infiltrate your family that Albert found it pathetic, but he needed you... Being close to you, you were eating away at his mind with every bitter second that passed in the older man's abjacent solitude.
♡— Wesker could just get rid of anyone in the worst way possible and lock you up in a place isolated from everything and everyone, make you his untouched little doll, lock you in a glass dome and watch you all day — he could force you to loving him, worshiping him like a god, he wanted to make you walk on the ground he walks on and see your tongue lick every drop of his seed, things escalated very quickly for him, but he didn't care, in the blonde's head, he was a superior being, and could do anything he wanted.
♡— Wesker researched every strong and weak point of your personality, in a few days he had a folder and raw files of hours and hours of recordings of you, either with the wiretap he secretly placed on your cell phone, or with the cameras hidden behind home — which he put it when he went to your house, to drink some wine and hand over some papers from the umbrella to your dad — or for the hours he spent stalking every post of yours on the internet. He knew everything about you... Absolutely everything, you were his obsession, you were his property and his alone... It didn't take long for you to realize that.
♡— Wesker began with calm touches, as if he were watering a flower, wetting your petals of desire with the nectar of hot, forbidden touches. He would pay you so much attention, wearing the best smile behind his serious and cold face, his lips would always have an expression of comfort for you — He would always shower you with sweet nicknames, telling you how proud he is of you always giving your best to you. college grades, or how good you were. He would divert your father's attention just to visit you in your room, giving you expensive gifts that you had wanted for a long time. "— I just remembered you baby, it suits your eyes, don't worry about the value sweetheart." Albert would speak in a hoarse tone, placing the emerald necklace around your neck, brushing his fingers for too long on your skin and leaving soon after, leaving you with a confused feeling in your chest and a heat in your core.
♡— Wesker has been mentally writing down the best nicknames he can think of. "— My Prince/Princess, My doll, My baby boy/baby girl, My little gem, My good boy/girl, honey, darling, dear, sweet little thing." And all of them are accompanied by mischievous phrases and smiles. " — Good job prince/princess, you did well... Keep it up." " — you really are a cute little thing, aren't you? Making Daddy happy." The scientist would purr in your ear, away from your father's eyes... Not that he cares much, but he loves the feeling of adrenaline, seeing your face blush, you would be a mess for a simple compliment or word of affirmation... It was so cute to him, like a stalking prey, a deer lost and beautiful in the snow.
♡— Wesker knew that resisting his charm was never an option, and it wouldn't be. He is a man who knows how to play his cards right, and it wouldn't take long for him to trap you in his web of manipulation and possession, he would make you his body, mind and soul, break you to the breaking point.
♡— Wesker would have luxurious dinners at his penthouse, calling his family, an excuse to see you again. He would get your dad drunk enough to pull you to some corner of the house and pull down your clothes, slapping your ass hard as he knelt kissing your clit, forcing you to lean against the cold wall while he fucked you out. "— Fuck imagine if your father comes in here and sees his sweet son/daughter like that? Fucking his friend?" Albert smiled mischievously, as he inserted two thick fingers into your hole, stretching you to the sides, leaving you well prepared for him. He would hold you with his strong arms, taking you to the table where your father slept drunk, fucking you in front of the man's sleepy body. " — Fucking h-hell Mmm- imagine if he wakes up? Seeing you like this? Seeing that you're nothing but a fucking slut." He babbled, pushing the base of his dick into your cunt, while you covered your moans with your hand, feeling your eyes roll back into your head with pleasure.
♡— Wesker will fuck you in your own house, making an excuse for your father who needs to recommend some colleges to you, while he aggressively beats you on the mattress, tying your ankles with his tie, while overstimulating your pussy, inserting his shaft repeatedly into your uterus, he'll just take out even the tip and put it all in at once with a sadistic smile on his thin lips. "—I could fuck you like this all day."
♡— Wesker would say such dirty and sweet things to you while turning you into a dumb mess. " — Your sweet little pussy is made for my cock, isn't it?" His free hand reaches down to caress your breasts, pinching and pinching your sensitive nipples, eliciting more moans from your lips. He continues to tease and torment you, pushing you closer to the edge of orgasm before pulling back, prolonging your agony - and his, you could beg and whimper, as he takes a cell phone out of his pocket, focusing on your wet, abused hole. " — Oh, you little slut," he grows. " —I love the way you look when my cock stretches you out like this Ah- Fuck sweetheart-" And just as you're about to fall, he slows down once again, prolonging your ecstasy, the buildup almost unbearable. "—Not yet, my dear," he whispers in your ear, his voice filled with wicked delight. "—You will come when I say so. Only when I give you permission."
♡— Wesker will take several photos of your body covered in semen, in compromising positions and with his dick in your mouth, videos, gifs or any digital media available, he will manipulate and chat you so that you are always his, always stay on his side.
" — You will never run away from me, my little pet... Or else... Your father and all your family, friends... They will know what a whore you are, so just be good and keep your mouth shut, pretty boys/girls don't think."

Unexpected (Sukuna x Female Reader)
Hello everyone! Okay, I know that Sukuna literally reigned terror over practically everyone when he was a human in his human form. BUT, I feel like he is just a softie towards his lover and child. So that is pretty much what I wrote today! I also tried to find the artist to give them credit for the cover art, but I couldn't' find anything. Full credit goes to the artist of course! I hope you enjoy!
Synopsis: After being Sukuna's preffered concubine for almost a year now, Y/N starts to notice some changes going on with her body. She knew what this meant, and knew she had to tell Sukuna about what is going on.
Word Count: 2052
Tumblr media
In the dark and twisted world where sorcerers and curses roamed, Y/N found herself in a peculiar and perilous situation. She was a concubine, living a life of luxury within the grand, ominous palace of Ryomen Sukuna, the king of curses. Sukuna was feared and loathed by all who knew of him. With his two faces, four arms, and a mouth on his stomach, he was a symbol of terror on Earth, known for his merciless cruelty.
Yet, Y/N was different. She was his favorite, though no one could ever understand why. Sukuna would often call her to his chamber, spending hours in her company. It was as if a glimmer of humanity remained buried beneath the layers of his demonic exterior. Y/N knew better than to resist her role as his favored concubine, for disobedience often meant death. But as the weeks passed, Y/N felt a strange and sudden unease.
The first sign of change came when she realized her body was not quite as predictable as it had been. The morning sickness, the fatigue, and the subtle changes to her body all pointed to one conclusion – she was with child, and the father was none other than Sukuna himself.
As she ventured into his chambers one evening, her heart pounded with anxiety. He sat on a lavish throne, crowned in arrogance. His red eyes met hers, and he noticed the worry etched across her face.
"What troubles you, my dear?" Sukuna inquired, his voice as cool and dangerous as ever.
"I... I have news, Lord Sukuna," Y/N stuttered, attempting to maintain her composure. "I am with child." Sukuna's eyes widened, a flicker of surprise crossing his monstrous features. The room seemed to grow colder as an eerie silence settled over them. Y/N couldn't help but feel a shiver run down her spine.
For a moment, she feared the worst, that his anger would flare up like an inferno, that he would blame her for this unexpected turn of events. But then, something unexpected happened. His lips, both the one on his face and the other on his stomach, twisted into an unsettling smile.
"You're carrying my child?" Sukuna's voice held an inexplicable mix of amusement and curiosity.
Y/N nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. "Yes, my Lord. It is your child, a gift from our time together."
Sukuna's laughter echoed through the chamber, a haunting sound that sent shivers down her spine. "Well, well," he mused, "this is most intriguing. It seems fate has woven a different path for us, my dear concubine."
She couldn't fathom his reaction. What did he mean by "a different path"? Did he intend to harm her or the child? The rumors about his cruelty raced through her mind, but his next words caught her off guard.
"From this day forward," Sukuna declared, "you shall no longer be just my favored concubine. You shall be the mother of my heir, and my wife. I will get rid of the other concubines as soon as I can."
Y/N was stunned, her mind struggling to grasp the magnitude of what Sukuna had just said. Becoming his wife and the mother of his heir was a fate she could never have imagined. She had heard of the power and ruthlessness of the Cursed King, but this turn of events was beyond her wildest dreams, or nightmares.
"Lord Sukuna, I... I am honored by your decree." Y/N managed to say, her voice quivering. Her thoughts raced, and she couldn't help but wonder what had brought about this dramatic change in the notorious sorcerer.
Sukuna's demeanor shifted as he looked at her, a hint of vulnerability flickering in his eyes. "You are different from the others, Y/N. You possess a unique strength that intrigues me. You've not only survived but managed to capture my heart in your own way. I am curious to see how this new chapter in our lives unfolds."
As Y/N tried to wrap her mind around the astonishing twist of fate, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. Fear still lingered in her heart, for Sukuna's reputation was not one that could be easily forgotten. His sudden declaration to make her his wife and the mother of his heir was both a blessing and a curse. She knew she had gained a measure of protection, but she also recognized that her life had become infinitely more complicated.
Over the following months, as her pregnancy progressed, Y/N's relationship with Sukuna underwent a gradual transformation. He showed a surprising tenderness and protectiveness toward her, which left her both relieved and confused. The other concubines, who had once been her rivals, were swiftly removed from the palace, their fates unknown. Sukuna's sole focus was on Y/N and their unborn child.
Not only did she recognize his change, but she noticed a change in herself towards him. She had fallen for the strange man. Obviously before she became pregnant she had some sort of feelings for him, but this was different. She felt that this could have been love. Was it even possible to love the king of curses?

As the months passed and her belly grew round with the child of Sukuna, Y/N's feelings for the Cursed King deepened. She found herself captivated not only by his power and enigmatic nature but by the glimpses of vulnerability he occasionally revealed. Despite his terrifying reputation, she saw in him a complex soul, and she couldn't help but empathize with his struggle to balance his monstrous identity with the spark of humanity that still flickered within him.
Their relationship became more than a mere arrangement of convenience. They spent hours talking, sharing their hopes and fears, and gradually, the walls that had separated them began to crumble. Y/N saw moments of gentleness in Sukuna, moments when he would softly caress her growing belly, whispering endearing words to their unborn child. She realized that, like anyone else, he longed for connection and love, something that had been denied to him for so long due to his horrifying appearance and terrifying powers.
Y/N's once-terrifying life as a concubine had turned into something unexpected and complicated. She was no longer just a plaything of the Cursed King; she had become his confidant, his companion, and now, the mother of his child. As she considered the strange turn of events, she wondered if her love for him was mutual. Did Sukuna truly care for her beyond their unborn child, or was this newfound affection merely a consequence of her pregnancy?
One fateful night, as they sat together in his chamber, Y/N decided to broach the subject that had been weighing heavily on her mind. She watched him, her heart racing, as she gathered the courage to speak. "Sukuna, I can't help but wonder about your feelings for me. This change in our relationship, it's... unexpected. Do you love me, or is this solely because of our child?"
Sukuna, the Cursed King, regarded her with his distinctive dual gaze. His red eyes bore into hers as if searching for something deep within her soul. The room was bathed in an eerie silence, broken only by the distant howling of the wind outside.
Finally, he spoke, his voice carrying a weight of sincerity that she had never heard from him before. "Y/N, what we have is complicated. I am not like other men, and you know that. But since the moment you told me you were carrying my child, something has awakened within me. I can't deny that I feel a connection, a bond, that goes beyond mere duty or convenience."
Y/N's heart leaped at his words, her eyes glistening with a mix of hope and uncertainty. She had never expected to hear such vulnerability from the feared sorcerer.
Sukuna continued, his voice softening even further. "I may not fully understand what love means, for it is a concept foreign to my nature. But I do know that I care for you deeply, Y/N, and I want to protect both you and our child. That much, I am certain of."
Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as she heard his heartfelt confession. In that moment, she realized that the man known as the Cursed King, feared by all, had a heart that could feel, even if he struggled to comprehend it fully. She leaned in, her hand gently reaching for his, and their fingers intertwined.
"Thank you, Sukuna." she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. "I care for you too, and I want to be with you, not just as the mother of your child but as your partner, your confidant, and your love."
Sukuna's dual-faced smile returned, a rare and genuine one. He brought her hand to his lips and placed a tender kiss on it. "Then, my dear Y/N, let us navigate this strange and perilous world together, as partners, as parents, and perhaps one day, as lovers. If that is what we become at some point." Those words gave Y/N hope for the future with him.
_
_
_
As the last few months of Y/N's pregnancy approached, the bond between Y/N and Sukuna only deepened. Their love was a complex, extraordinary force that defied the dark and twisted world they inhabited. Their child was a symbol of hope, a testament to the possibility of light even in the darkest of places.
On a stormy night, Y/N went into labor, and the estate was in chaos. Sukuna, who had never witnessed such an event, stood by her side, both anxious and determined. The sound of her painful cries filled the room, which worried Sukuna as her labor progressed. He was used to the sight of death, but the sight of life happening before his eyes, made him awestruck at the beauty of labor.
After what felt like an eternity, Y/N sighed in relief as the cries of a newborn filled the air, echoing through the chamber. Y/N held their child, a tiny being that was so fragile and new in the world.
She looked up at Sukuna who had stayed almost silent during the whole thing, hoping he would say something.
Sukuna, the Cursed King, gazed down at the child in Y/N's arms with a mixture of awe and tenderness. His four eyes, were fixed on the newborn, and for a moment, it seemed as though the world had disappeared, leaving only the small family in that chamber.
For all his terrifying power and monstrous appearance, Sukuna was utterly captivated by the sight of his child. He carefully reached out to hold the child, and Y/N gently handed their son to him. The baby grasped one of his father's finger with a tiny, delicate hand, and the Cursed King's lips curled into a rare and gentle smile.
"He has my extra pair of arms." Sukuna said, releasing a soft chuckle, his voice filled with wonder. “He does seem to have my hair, but he does have your face.”
Y/N watched the father and son with tears of joy in her eyes. It was a moment of profound beauty in the midst of their dark and twisted world. She had never imagined that she would be sharing such an intimate and heartwarming moment with Sukuna, the most feared sorcerer of their time.
As the hours passed, Sukuna and Y/N took turns cradling and caring for their newborn. Their love for each other and their child grew stronger with each passing moment. They named their son Kaito, signifying a new beginning, a departure from the cursed legacy of the past.
As the two raised their child overtime, Sukuna was technically a changed man… for them at least. He still killed and reigned terror as he pleased, but the second he would return home to his wife and son, he showed his deep care and genuine love (as much as he hates to admit it) to them. Sukuna might be the king of curses, but he has a special place in his heart saved for who he calls his family.

Pairing: Dean Winchester x Fem!Reader

Word Count: 1.7k

Tumblr media
You don’t know the exact amount of time you’ve been sitting in this uncomfortable hospital chair, curled up, huddled underneath a random flannel of Dean’s that was in a duffel bag in the trunk of Baby. You rubbed your eyes, trying to get rid of the sleepiness; surprised that you even managed to get a wink of sleep.
The last few days have honestly been some of the worst days of your life, as you were told by doctor after doctor that Dean’s condition didn’t seem to be getting any better. It stayed the same, which was a good and bad thing. He was in and out of consciousness, barely awake long enough to have a conversation. His eyes would just flutter open and he would briefly look at you. And you would smile at him, and he would do the same. His lips always looking like he was about to say something but he never did as his eyes just shut again. Each and every time his eyes shut, a part of you hoped that it wouldn’t be the last time.
The last few days have given you a lot of time to reflect, reflect about your time as a hunter; thinking about all of the good you have done, but also thinking about all of the times you’ve nearly died or have actually died. In the words of Dorothy, “you’re not a real hunter unless you’ve come back from the dead.” And you, Sam, and Dean have come back from the dead more times than you could count at this point, but you’re pretty sure Dean had the highest death count.
“Not awake yet?” Sam asked, two Styrofoam cups of coffee in hand.
“No,” you answered as he handed you one of the cups, “Thanks.”
“I’m surprised you fell asleep,” he said, taking a spot in the chair next to yours.
“How long was I out for?” You asked, taking a sip from your coffee. You hated the taste of hospital coffee, but the caffeine it contained had to do for now.
“Only half an hour,” he stated.
“You get any?” He shook his head. “You really need to get at least a little rest. We’re no help to Dean tired.”
Sam couldn’t help but agree, but he had the same mind set as you; he wanted to be awake when Dean woke up. “I’ll sleep when I know he’s okay,” he said, stubborn as he usually was.
Tumblr media
When Dean finally woke, he didn’t really know where he was. But all he knew was that the lights were too bright for him. He struggled to keep his eyes open as he squinted, trying to adjust. “Fuck these lights are bright,” he said weakly.
You almost had wanted to laugh, hearing Dean say these words. The man had been out for the last few days and the first thing he had to comment on was the fucking brightness of the lights. But if you were being honest, it was pretty on brand for him. “Hey Sleepy Head,” you said, getting up from the hospital chair.
“Hey there Sweetheart,” he smiled. “Sam with you?”
“Yeah, just talking to one of the doctors,” you said. You took his hand and held it in yours, and all Dean could do was just stare at your face, admiring it like he was just seeing you for the first time.
“How long was I out?” He asked. “My head and stomach are fucking killing me.”
"A few days," you replied. "To be fair, you've been on pain killers pretty much the whole time and not a lot of actual food in your stomach."
"When we get out of here, can we go get a couple of cheeseburgers?" He asked, grinning at you.
"Of course we can," you smiled.
"So, I really fucked my body up bad this time uh?" He asked, letting out a small chuckle.
“If you call nearly killing yourself fucking up your body than yes,” you said, no humor in your voice. He could tell that you were pissed. “You know Dean, I love you, but you’re honestly the stupidest fucking person alive.”
“Love you too Sweetheart,” he grinned.
“I’m serious. I thought I fucking lost you for good this time. Me and Sam…” you took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. There was no point in getting upset, no point in being mad at Dean. “We thought you were dead, dead this time.”
Dean looked at your face, hearing the sound of your voice, and it started to break his heart. He didn’t realize how much pain his actions had caused you and Sam over the course of the last few days. When he killed that vamp the way that he did, he wasn’t thinking about himself in that moment, wasn’t thinking about you or Sam. All he could think about was killing that vamp with the items that he had surrounding him. Being resourceful was one of his most useful and best qualities (at least he seemed to think so). “I’m sorry I scared you…and Sam.”
“It’s not your fault Dean I’m just…I was so fucking scared,” you felt yourself about to cry, but you didn’t want to tear up. “You and Sam are all I have left.”
“You’re not going to lose me,” he tried reassuring you, but he knew his words weren’t going to stick.
“But I almost did. And I can’t…I can’t have that again,” you said, your voice slightly shaking. “I can’t do this anymore.”
“Can’t do what?” He was afraid to ask, hoping this wasn’t you cutting and running. But he wouldn’t blame you if you did. You deserved a far better life than what he could give you. And despite him loving you, he wanted you to be happy, even if it wasn’t with him.
“Hunting.” A wave of relief washed over Dean. “We’ve died so many fucking times. More than, more than anyone. And, I know as hunters we save people, save people from all the monsters in the world but, I’m tired. I’m tired of the constant moving. The constant fighting. The constant looking over my shoulder.” Like the Winchesters, hunting was the only life you had ever known, but having a life away from the monsters and demons was something that you had dreamed of. And it was a dream that you had pictured doing with Dean; it was something the two of you often talked about.
“Okay,” was all Dean said to your speech. He agreed with all of it, and you knew that he did, as having a life away from hunting was something you two often talked about. But neither of you ever thought that it would be possible for you, as this was really the only life either of you really knew. “As soon as I get out of here, we’re done. And done for good this time.”
Tumblr media
Five Years Later…
The aroma of your homemade chicken noodle soup filled the air as you did another few stirs in the pot on the stove. You heard the front door open and close, and you smiled, quickly wiping your hands on your kitchen towel. “Honey we’re home!” Dean yelled, his voice cheerful as always.
“Mommy, mommy, mommy!” Your daughter yelled, her voice equally as joyful as her fathers as she ran to meet you in the kitchen.
Her arms opened up wide as you went down on your knees to greet her at her level, the two of you embracing each other. “Hi baby,” you smiled, kissing her on the top of the head.
“Hold me?” She asked, giving similar looking puppy dog eyes to that of her Uncle Sam’s.
“Always,” you said, picking her up in your arms. “How did you do at the doctors?”
“I was very brave,” she answered. She pointed to a sparkly strawberry sticker on her shirt. “The doctor gave me this because I did a really good job,” she said and then looked over at Dean. “Right daddy?”
“Bravest kid there,” he smiled. “Doctor even told her she’s her favorite patient.”
“Favorite patient uh?” You smiled. “Now that’s really something,” you said, giving her another kiss on her temple.
“Mom, after dinner can you and daddy tell me some more of those spooky stories?” Your daughter asked. You smiled, and so did Dean. The spooky stories that she was referencing were all of the hunts that you and Dean had been on throughout the years, but it was something that you never straight out told her (not yet at least, the both of you wanted to keep her as naive as long as possible). You never used either of your names, or Sam’s, you always changed the names, but these were stories that she had grown to love, and always expected a new one every single time. Thankfully, but not too thankfully, you and Dean were always able to tell her something new as the two of you had decades worth of hunts between you.
“Of course, what do you wanna hear about today?” Dean asked.
Your daughter thought for a moment, putting her thinking cap on until a lightbulb in her little head appeared; the biggest grin on her face. “Ghosts!”
You and Dean exchanged looks, almost thankful that she picked an easy topic for todays story. “How would you like to hear about the Van Ness House?” You asked her.
“It sounds spooky already!” She beamed.
Tumblr media
Five years you and Dean, along with Sam and Eileen have been living the domestic life, none of you have hunted for the last five years. In all honesty, you were surprised that you and Dean had managed not to hunt, as hunting was something that the two of you had only known. When Dean told you five years ago that he was done with hunting for good because you said you were done, there was a part of you that didn’t believe him, as the last time he said he was done he got roped back in (which meant you got roped back in), when the both of you found out that Sam had returned from the pit.
But these last five years have been life changing for the both of you, as not only did the two of you have a beautiful daughter together, but you were happily married in addition to that — two things that neither of you ever thought would happen nor would ever be possible.

Tumblr media
You were elbow deep in a sink of dirty dishes, your Mum towelling dry the plates next to you, when you finally came out and said it.
“Am I a disappointment, Mum?”
She froze right there, arms poised and plate hovering mid-air. It was only a second later when she recovered, gently placing the dish on the counter when she turned to look at you. Her head was titled in that concerned way of hers, and you’re not sure what it was about the look in her eyes – of hurt and worry and love – but the tears started flowing right then and there.
“Oh, my love, how could you ever think that?” she questioned, tugging you into her arms, not caring about the water from your hands or the tears from your eyes soaking her new cotton dress. She smelled of chamomile tea and custard creams and home. And as much as you thought you hated her sometimes; her reassurance was what you needed most when the world seemed out to get you.
“You could never disappoint me or Da’, you know that.” She pulled back, forcing you to look up into her eyes, noticing the shimmer across her own irises. “Tell me you know that my sweetest girl.”
“I—” and your voice broke but you kept going— “I don’t know if I do.” With a deep breath you tried to explain it all. “It just seems like everyone hates me sometimes. And I guess it, I’m difficult, I know that I am, but sometimes—I mean, a lot of the time, really, it feels like I can’t control it. When I argue and bicker and stomp away in a tantrum. It’s these feelings—I have so many, and I never know what to do with them, and it’s like drowning in indecision and I always make the wrong choice.”
“I know, love, I know,” she soothed, pulling you back in and smoothing her palm across your hair. You melted into her embrace like you hadn’t since you were ten years old. “You’re so much like me, you know? I swear, hear it every time we’re out with our friends. And when I was your age, I felt that way too. Lost and overwhelmed and like I wasn’t enough.”
“So, what did you do—to get rid of those feelings, I mean?” you asked, already dreading her answer.
“I didn’t. And you shouldn’t want to, either.” You almost lifted your head to argue but stopped yourself before you could. “Your emotions and feelings and thoughts and dreams—they make you who you are. Of course, it’s important to acknowledge the root of the ones that pester you the most and try to understand why they have such a hold over you. And maybe it’s my fault, really, for not saying it more, but we are so so proud of you.”
“I think you say it more to James and Sirius than you do to me,” you pointed out, a slight bite to your words but not enough to sting.
“James is, well, James. I can’t deny that he’s occasionally—” you raised your eyebrow incredulously at that and she responded with an amused eyeroll— “struggled with his classes and getting it together, so it seemed important to guide him in the right direction with praises. Sirius, on the other hand—well, we’re all he has. We just wanted him to feel loved.”
You nodded, understanding, but not sure how you fit into all of this. “Then you, my love. When you were younger you were always naturally good at things. I never understood where you got that from cause it certainly wasn’t from me. You put little effort into things and excelled, so maybe I got used to the idea that I knew you’d always be alright even if I didn’t say anything. But that’s my fault, I shouldn’t have withheld my pride out of laziness.”
“I don’t think you’re lazy, Mum,” you urged, but she hushed you with that stern voice of hers.
“I’m sure you don’t but shush because I won’t admit it again,” she scolded, her voice entirely mocking and somewhere between those tears, you managed a smile. “Your Da’ and I always knew you’d go on to do brilliant things. You’re intelligent, and passionate, and those muggle kids of yours adore you. You’re shaping their lives in ways you can’t even know, and they’re lucky to have you, just like I am, my sweet girl.”
She leaned forward, placing a kiss to the crown of your head.
“And do you hate that I live at home still?”
She reeled back, both shocked and confused. “of course not. We love having you here! It’s entirely selfish, really. Got to convert James’ old room into a study, as well as keep you around for the company and to help with chores. If anything, I don’t want you to move out,” she explained, serious. “Really, if you had more natural light in your room, we would’ve helped you to a new place the second you graduated from Hogwarts.”
You barked out a laugh at that, entirely believing her. “Okay, okay. I get it. I’m wanted, or whatever.” You could feel your cheeks flaring at the thought of saying it out loud, but you ignored the feeling to relish in your Mum’s embrace a little while longer.
“Oh, yeah—whatever,” she teased, reaching up to wipe a stray tear from your face. “You could never disappoint me.”
All you could do was nod before your face dropped with apprehension. “What—what is it, love?” she asked, concerned herself.
“Well, you see, you say that now but I did something kind of dumb…” you trailed off, unable to confess just yet.
“What did you—you didn’t murder someone, did you? Because I love you but I don’t think I could manage Azkaban with those arthritis flare ups I’ve been getting.”
“What--! Mum, no, I didn’t—how could I? How could you think I’d be capable of murder?!” and really it had been the longest you’d gone without absolutely belting at someone.
“You are quite easily irritated,” she reasoned.
“If people stopped being so irritating—” you stopped, taking a deep breath, before confessing— “No, it’s both better and worse.”
“Go on,” she encouraged, but even she didn’t seem entirely convinced.
“I kissed Sirius.”
And it was like crickets between the two of you. Not a scolding shout or a cry of horror or—
“Okay… and is that it?” she asked bluntly.
“What do you mean ‘is that it?’. It’s wild, unbelievable, otherworldly, even!” you sputtered, not quite comprehending the calm with which she was speaking.
“Oh, don’t be dramatic, love. It’s not a good look,” and she pushed you out of the way to continue scrubbing at the dirty dishes, ignoring your stunned frame.
“Aren’t you going to ask me ‘why’?” you pushed, peering over her shoulder to check she was very much alive and breathing and not pranking you with a bit of some sort.
“I don’t need to, I know why,” she answered simply. You balked, tugging her shoulder back so she halted her movements and turned to face you.
“And what might that ‘why’ be?”
“It’s simple, really. You love him, you’ve always loved him. Since you were five and he pushed James into the dirt for stealing your copy of that Tiger, Wizard, and Cabinet’ book.”
You couldn’t help the way your hand slapped against your face right then, from exhaustion or exasperation, you weren’t sure. “It’s the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Mum,” you groaned.
“That definitely doesn’t sound right,” she pouted. “Anyway, he got the book back from James and you were so pleased you came up to me and said ‘Mummy, I think Sirius isn’t so bad after all, can we keep him?’. And when I explained the laws around owning human beings, you huffed and hid under the dining room table all day until you fell asleep.”
“Well, that does sound like me…”
“Of course, it sounds like you. I’m your mother,” she chided. “You didn’t start pretending to hate Sirius until you were about ten or eleven and he got that first girlfriend of his. What was her name—Lacey? Macey?”
“Stacey,” you chewed out, only to realise the anger with which you spoke her name despite never having known her. “Oh—”
“’Oh’ indeed. And what did you say to young Sirius after this kiss?” she pried, entirely engrossed in the story now as she rested her hip against the damp counter.
“I might’ve—you know---”
“No! you didn’t!” she burst out, already knowing exactly what you were going to say.
“I did, Mum, I did,” you moaned, pathetic and questioning if there was any way to rectify the situation, you’d found yourself in.
“Well, I can’t help you with that, love. You’re on your own, kid,” she explained, wiping her hands clean before sending you off (you weren’t entirely sure where, exactly) with a pat on your back.
Tumblr media
If you were anyone else, you would’ve taken such an encouraging conversation and somewhat-healed trauma of your childhood as a sign to go speak with Sirius.
But no, lucky for you, you were you.
He hadn’t shown up to work all week, using the flu as an excuse. So when James and Lily invited you over for a small gathering— “Really, James, two parties in one month? What kind of home are you raising my nephew in!”—you hadn’t thought much of it, or him.
“Do let me know if I’ve got this correct– you’ve decided to host a fourth of July party despite not being American, or, now that I think about it further, ever having been to America?” you questioned, genuinely worrying for Lily’s sanity as she rocked a bumbling Harry on her lap, cheeks painted with red, white and blue stars.
“Well, when you put it like that,” James groused, pouting, arms folded against his chest despite being the adult that he was.
“How else would you put it, James?” you argued, exasperated.
Lily perked up at the sound of a potential fight and silenced the two of you with a single look. If anyone was made to be a mother, it had to be Lily. She was compassionate and kind and gentle, as much as she could scare you with a simple glance, she could soothe all your worries as well.
“Look, I just needed an excuse to have a beer, and what better excuse is there than this! The holiday of beers—” I thought that was St. Paddy’s “—Hush! Otherwise, I’d have to wait for someone’s birthday or, what’s the next holiday–? Halloween? That’s ages away.”
You smirked at his odd logic. “Obviously it doesn’t necessarily have to be very Americana or whatever. Red, white and blue– just close your eyes and pretend it’s the beloved Union Jack instead!”
The gathering wasn’t as big as the last one, and you recognised the few familiar faces as Lily and James’ closest friends: Remus, Marlene, Mary, Peter, Sirius—
Sirius? Your head whipped back in a double take, watching as he pulled Remus into a hug ‘hello’ right by the garden gate. He hadn’t noticed you, not yet, but it didn’t take long for his gaze to fixate right on you. You couldn’t read his face, not having ever quite mastered the skill, but this time especially, he looked dazed and withdrawn.
Even his smiled seemed tight, like he didn’t quite mean it, and your heart plummeted at the thought that you’d done that to him.
“I’ll be right back,” you offered, distracted, to James as he preoccupied himself with squeezing Harry’s chubby fist.
Sirius had gone straight inside, probably headed for the kitchen, and you followed suit, wondering what it was about your brother’s house that had the two of you both rushing to and avoiding confrontation.
You found him right where you had expected—peering into the dimly lit fridge and pulling out a bottle of beer.
“Sirius,” you said, announcing your presence as you let the door click shut behind you. Luckily, no one else was inside the house, rather taking in the one day of sunlight and light breeze in an otherwise damp English spring.
You watched as his shoulders tensed instantly, and you just knew he wanted to be anywhere else but there, with you, at that moment, but he turned to face you anyway.
“How can I help, Potter?” he asked, keeping his cards close to his chest still.
“Can we talk?”
“Isn’t that what we’re doing right now,” he pointed out, brow raised as he took a deep gulp of his drink, cringing at the taste.
“That’s not what I mean, and you know it,” you pushed back, inching a step forward.
“No, I don’t know what you mean,” he replied smoothly, seemingly untouched by the implication behind your words.
“You’re such a prick sometimes, Sirius.”
“And you’ve only just noticed? My, didn’t take you as slow, Potter,” he noted, mockingly, and you flinched at his casual cruelty.
“Don’t do that,” you scolded.
“Do what?” he fought back, “Speak my mind? Seems like you’re the only one allowed to do that around here, and when anyone dares contest, well, all hell breaks loose.”
“You’re not speaking your mind, though,” you argued.
“Ah, and you know my mind so well, do you?” The annoying thing about Sirius, amongst many other things, was that he knew how to get under your skin. Had perfected the craft after years of verbal combat with you. So his words poked and prodded at your soft underbelly with ease as he brandished his hurt around like a swordsman with a too-heavy sword.
“Maybe not entirely, but when it comes to us, I think I know enough.” He stayed silent after that, hesitant, as if waiting for you to make the first move. “The other day, when we kissed—” and you knew you were getting hotter because something, some feeling, flickered behind his irises “—I said it was a mistake—”
“—I know, love. I was there,” he scowled. “No need to remind a man of his failings.”
“Just— let me finish!” You inhaled, slow, before continuing. “I said it was a mistake when, in fact, I felt the opposite. It’s just—it’s you and I, Sirius, and when it comes to us, I might know, inside, what I mean and feel and intend to show but when it comes to the actual ‘doing’ part of it all, I always seem to mess up. So, when I said it was a mistake, what I really meant was—”
And it was his turn to cut you off with his mouth, only this time it was sweet and yearning and apologetic as opposed to the fire and passion and lust that had guided the two of you the last time you’d found yourself in his hold.
His mouth slid over your own, careful and inquisitive, whilst his palms cradled your face, as if you’d slip out of his grasp if he moved even an inch in the wrong direction.
It was lovely, really.
As much as you wished for him to keep going, to keeping kissing you like he might yearn for you too (though you wouldn’t be saying those three words for a while), you were horribly aware of the fact that Lily, or worse, your brother, might walk in at any moment.
So, Sirius didn’t allow himself to get carried away with you, not yet at least, and instead he pulled away with a content sigh, tracing your bottom lip with his thumb as if to memorise it by feel alone.
“Is that our thing then? Kisses in the form of sneak-attacks?” you mused, vibrating and giddy and utterly pleased.
“Could be, if you want?” and it seemed like he was still entranced with your mouth to properly reply in any meaningful manner.
“Sirius,” you pleaded, urging him to look at you, properly. He tore his gaze away from your lips, finally, and the way his face split into a grin had those fucking butterflies returning, tenfold. “Are you okay?”
“I will be once I take you to mine and do that all over again, only, a little less clothed and a lot more horizontal” he promised, the cheek of his you had come to endearing having return after his previous sulking.
“You’re a menace,” you groaned as he buried his smirking face into the crook of your neck, holding you tight to him before his grip relaxed and he pressed a kiss to your forehead, holding you right there.
“I know, and I’m only joking—well, if you want me to be joking, I will be. But I’m fine—I swear it. It just seems surreal, us, like this,” he explained.
“I get that, it is a bit odd, but I’ve realised you need to contextualise those weird, new feelings and not let them control you, at least, not if they’re ‘bad’ or whatever,” you offered clumsily, trying, in your own way, to relay the same advice your Mum had.
He snorted in response, and you smacked his back from where your arms were wrapped around him. “You sound like your Mum.”
“Mm, that is my Mum. Only, she said it better, and more concise, and in that Mum-way that just makes sense.”
“Ah, well that makes a bit more sense.” He pulled back for a moment, not letting you out of the circle of his arms yet. “We should talk about this a little more, shouldn’t we?”
You nodded, sighing as you moved away from him to get a hold of your thoughts once more. “I think, for me at least, I conflated anger with my feelings for you because I wasn’t exactly sure how to handle them, and deep down, I worried you’d reject me, so it seemed easier to argue with you than—”
“--this,” he finished for you, and he must’ve read the agreement on your face because he bobbed his head in response. “It makes sense, really, and it’s about the same for me, only, there was the whole issue of James and, I mean, I’m older—”
“—by a few years,” you maintained, scowling, and he wanted to kiss you for it.
“Yes, love, but a few years means different things depending on how old you are. We’ve never really been in the same phase of life until now, so I don’t think I wanted it—nor would it have been appropriate, really—until a year or two ago. By then, it seemed too late, so I just kept—”
“—bickering.”
“Yeah, bickering. Arguing. Biting back. It was the safer option.” And everything he said made sense, it was all entirely reasonable, but you still mourned the time lost to not being entirely honest with each other.
“But there’s no point worrying over that now, not when we can’t do anything about it,” he reasoned, noting the faraway look in your eyes and centring you back, there, with him.
“We should get back to the party,” you whispered, fearing what would happen when the two of you left the safety on the kitchen, flooded still with gold and a certain stillness that had you aching for this moment to be forever.
“Yeah, love, let’s go back,” he answered, just as quiet, nudging his head toward the door. Just as your hand came up to turn the doorknob, Sirius’ palm came up in front of you, halting your movements. He stood, still, behind you, and close as ever. You could feel every breath he took, and that damn cologne you’d started missing in the bookstore as well. “Don’t worry about us, love, we’ll be fine,” he assured you.
You answered by turning the knob and making your way back towards the garden. Sirius followed from behind, and when you stepped through the backdoor, you realised how little had changed since you’d gone inside, but also just how much had changed, as well.

author's note: this was prompted by god knows what but this is my new passion project. jenson girlies, this one is for you. shoutout to @mev33 for losing her mind over this with me <333
bound by fate taglist!
chapter one: united front
attached at the hip, jenson button and y/n l/n are the unstoppable duo. the same soul in two bodies. all but 4 points separating them. // “where you go, I go. What you see, I see. I know I’d never be me without the security of your loving arms, keeping me from harm. Put your hand in my hand and we’ll stand.” - Skyfall by Adele
chapter two: time cast a spell on you
spending nine months with someone is a long time, especially when you’re forced to be with them. feelings grow, both good and bad.  - “Time cast a spell on you but you won’t forget me. I know I could have I loved you but you would not let me. I’ll follow you down ‘till the sound of my voice can haunt you. Oh give it just a chance. You’ll never get away from the sound of a woman that loves you.” - Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac
chapter three: the blame is on you
two mclarens spin out, drivers at each other’s throat but only one’s to blame. what’s said on track doesn’t always stay there. - “It’s my own design, it’s my own remorse. Help me to decide, help me make the most of freedom and of pleasure, nothing ever lasts forever. Everybody wants to rule the world.” - Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tear For Fear
chapter four: no grace
jenson can’t take it anymore; the back stabbing, the betrayal. he did what he thought was best and left. on what was supposed to be the happiest night of y/n’s life, she’s heartbroken and upset. — “I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace, so the battleships will sink beneath the waves. You had to kill me, but it kills you just the same. Cursing my name, wishing I stayed. You turned into your worst fears and you’re tossing out blame, drunk on this pain. Crossing out the good years and you’re cursing my name, wishing I stayed.” -  My Tears Ricochet by Taylor Swift
chapter five: the final tango
y/n and jenson find themselves front and centre, smiling for the cameras in their sunday bests, yet their hearts are in different places. - “it hurts to be something, it’s worse to be nothing with you. I’ve done the math, there’s no solution. We’ll never last. Why can’t I let go of this?” -  Promise by Laufey
chapter six: secrets of us
when all is said and done, it’s never really over, is it? jenson spills far too much in a tell-all interview that back fires on both he and y/n. - “And you don’t seem to understand, a shame you seemed an honest man. And the fears you hold so dear will turn to whisper in your ear. And you know what they say might hurt you and you know that it means so much, and you don’t even feel a thing.” -  Duvet by Bôa
chapter seven: a chapter of me
four long years have passed, both y/n and jenson are in different places of life but they find themselves at Silverstone, together once again. jenson’s a commentator and y/n’s still a racer. seems the dust has settled. - “Just wanna let this story die, and i’ll be alright. We can’t be friends, but I’d like to just pretend. You cling to your papers and pens, wait until you like me again.” -  We Can’t Be Friends by Ariana Grande
chapter eight: a glimpse into the past
people come and go, life moves on; that has always been your view. you can’t move on when your past comes back to haunt you. -  “So I ask myself, do I let you go or do I keep you in the frame of my mind? Now I’m growing wise to your sugar coated lies, nothing’s sweet about my misery. Yeah, I finally found what went wrong, i finally found the wrong in you.” - On My Mind by Jorja Smith
chapter nine: twelve steps forward, one step back
the final race of your life, mixed emotions truly. your career was one out of a movie, you’re waiting for the final shoe to drop and when it does, it hits you hard. - “Isn’t it strange? I am still me, you are still you, in the same place. Isn’t it strange how people can change from strangers to friends, friends into lovers, and strangers again?” - Strange by Celeste
epilogue - chapter ten: the last bow
life post retirement is a funny thing, you thought you’d be having fun but you’re bored out of your mind. a solo trip results in seeing a ghost from your past.  -  “I'm sure we're taller in other dimension, you say we’re small and not worth a mention. You’re tired of movin’, your body’s achin’. We could vacay, there’s places to go. Clearly this isn’t all that there is, can’t take what’s been given. But we’re so okay here, we’re doing fine.” - White Ferrari by Frank Ocean

Having the worst period cramps I've had in a while, so may I request a lil bit of period fluff with re2 leon?
Hey there anon! So sorry to hear that your period cramps are especially bad this time around, I really hate when that happens. Even though it's been a while since you sent this in, I hope this little drabble piece will bring you some comfort. Also hoping that your period is a bit better now too, take care. 🩶
1.1k words | cw: fluff, modernized RE2 Leon x reader, mentions of menstrual cycle
Tumblr media
It doesn’t matter how often you forgot you had a cycle, the moment the red river of doom appeared every month it still always took you off guard. It was always the same, the cramps, the sickly flow, the soreness, the heat flashes, and the lightheadiness followed by nausea and loss of appetite. It was all too damn much.
You hated it, and it always put a damper on your mood and disrupted your routine. If you were allowed to pause your cycle like a subscription, you absolutely would. Sadly, periods don’t work that way. To make matters worse, this particular cycle seemed to be harsher than the ones you’ve had before. The cramps were more like consistent punches to the gut than the usual pinch that eventually went away.
Currently in bed doubled over with a hand over your heating pad, it was the only position you found to be comfortable. Frankly, you felt like shit, the constant pain in your body was putting you through a whirlwind of emotions that could quickly spiral out of control if you let it. Instinctively, you curled more into yourself, a fresh wave of cramps making your whole body shiver from the strength of it.
What did I do to deserve this treatment?
Before your thoughts could get any more melancholic, you heard the bedroom door creak open. Lifting your head at the noise, your eyes peeled away from the current tiktok on your phone to meet with crystal blues that felt warmer than anything else.
“Hey sweetheart”, Leon said softly, coming towards you on your side of the bed. He already knew what was going on, could tell from the way you were snuggled up and wore his hoodie to comfort yourself.
“Hey”, your voice was rather meek, not fully meeting the blonde in the eye for a moment before your body changed angles, turning so you’d face him on the edge of the bed instead. He had a mug in his hand and placed it down on the bedside table, probably something for you to drink as you huddled up in your bedroom.
“Brought you some tea and Midol that might help. Are you holding up okay?”, he asked, running a soft hand over your cheek. You accepted the touch, sighing at the gentle contact.
“Trying to, the cramps are beating my ass this time around”, you muttered, groaning in discomfort when your point was proven as you felt the familiar spasms in your gut again. “Can’t believe I’m being punished because I didn’t pop out a damn baby”
That got you a light chuckle from Leon who gave you a sympathetic look. His fingers on your cheek went towards your head, running his digits through your scalp as if he were petting you like a cat. His touch was a mere distraction from the ache you felt, like an intense push and pull in your pelvis that just couldn’t be stopped.
“Is it that bad now? I’m sorry hun”, of course, he was trying to be supportive. He’s only seen your cycle impact you this badly a handful of times, and every time he wishes he could take that pain away so you never had to deal with it again.
“Is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable?”
“Is getting rid of my uterus an option?”, you were joking, but with how you felt, you had half a mind to consider it before your next period hit.
“I’m just a guy babe, not a board-certified surgeon. If I was, it would be an option”, he could only entertain the thought, ever the considerate guy. At least he made you laugh a bit, even if it hurt to do so.
“How about I go and get you some food? Do you have any specific requests?”, Leon didn’t mind getting stuff for you, hell that was what he enjoyed doing. Whatever it took to make you feel less irritable, he’d do it.
“Maybe a sandwich of some kind? I don’t know, I’m just craving something to munch on”, sometimes you were timid in asking for things, as if you didn’t have a boyfriend who would drop everything to give you the world and more.
“Want me to go get you that burger from your favorite place? With an order of curly fries and a milkshake right?”, Leon saw the way your eyes brightened up at the thought of getting some greasy food you liked, and he only smiled back at you.
“Yeah, that would be nice”
“Burger, fries, and a milkshake coming right up. Take some of the pills and drink your tea, I’ll be back alright?”, you nodded, Leon leaned down to give you a soft kiss on your forehead. He got up from the bed, giving you one more glance before walking out of your shared room. You could hear him grab the keys to his jeep from the trinket bowl in the entryway and close the door behind him, taking a Midol pill and downing it with some tea as you waited for his return.
It was 40 minutes of scrolling on TikTok and trying to find something to watch on Netflix before you heard the door of your apartment open and close again. There was the shuffling of what sounded like multiple bags, Leon coming in to peek his head through the bedroom door with a plastic bag in hand and a milkshake in the other.
“So, I went on a quick shopping trip. Got your food, and some more of what you need for this time so you can be stocked up. I didn’t know if you wanted your chips or anything, so I just got you everything you liked. Oh, and I found those frozen chocolate-covered strawberry treats you liked, just figured you’d want some later”, Leon placed the milkshake down on your bedside table, giving you a sheepish grin as you raised an eyebrow at him.
“You didn’t have to get all of that for me…”, it still surprised you how Leon was willing to give you what you wanted without having to lift a finger.
“Yeah, I did. Wanted you to have what you needed, it’s not a big deal”, he shrugged, kissing you on the lips which you happily received with a hum.
“Besides, I don’t like seeing you cranky. Best to avoid any possibility of a tantrum”, you rolled your eyes at that, shaking your head but your lips curled in a smile.
“I love you”, one of your fingers curled around a blonde strand of hair that fell in front of his face.
“I love you too silly. Now eat so we can watch something, I saw that they just put some new rom-com on Netflix”, Leon said excitedly, finding the remote to the TV as you began to dig in the bag to take a bite out of a curly fry.
Sure, this cycle may be bad, but you’ll be able to get through it so long Leon was there to help.

There’s no life after you. | Dean Winchester x Reader (one-shot)
Summary: Dean felt like he had no other option than to push [Y/N] out of his life completely. When he and Sam find a case in her hometown, he’s hit with all of the emotions he’d tried for so long to bury.
Warnings: swearing, mild-angst, mostly sadness and ending with fluff.
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Reader
Flashbacks are in bold.
Tumblr media
Dean and Sam had found a case in Reno, Nevada—a city that had a lot of memories particularly for the older Winchester. Sure they’d worked a dozen or more cases around here over the years but that wasn’t the type of memories that kept playing on his mind. He only wished it was that simple. Sam had opted to take the backseat, needing some extra rest on the drive and Dean usually drove his precious ‘67 impala anyway. Ever since they’d found this case, the eldest Winchester was uneasy. Not because it was anything special, from the details online it seemed like it was just another vamps nest—maybe even just a handful travelling together.
No, what began to plague his mind was something that cut much deeper than that. All he could think about was you.
It had been roughly two years since he’d last seen you. Every other second of the last year and half had been him fighting the urge to reach out, knowing two things for certain. One: you’d be far better off without him holding you down. Two: even if that wasn’t the case, he’d really hurt you the last time you spoke and despite how much he missed you.. you’d likely never speak to him again—but that’s what he’d wanted right? You to move on, you to live a life that wasn’t plagued by the dangers of all things supernatural. Find a good man, a normal man, settle down.. get married and have kids. Not have to worry about tending to someone who had spent his entire life broken. Shaking his head to try and rid himself of these thoughts, it seemed the universe had other plans.
It seemed at some point in the drive his playlist had changed and delved into the ‘divorced dad rock’ side of things—the first few notes of what he recognized as a Daughtry song began to play. Seemingly just as they’d finally crossed the state lines into Nevada, the lyrics began..
“Ten miles from town and I just broke down, spitting out smoke on the side of the road. I’m out here alone, just trying to get home to tell you I was wrong but you already know. Believe me I won’t stop at nothing to see you so I’ve started running.”
Now Dean knew exactly what song this was and it damn sure wasn’t helping with his desperate need to stop thinking about you. He reached out to change the song but when the chorus hit, he stopped and his finger merely hovered above the button.
“All that I’m after is a life full of laughter, as long as I’m laughing with you—and I think that all that still matters is love ever after, after the life we’ve been through. ‘Cause I know there’s no life after you.”
It was as if the song was delivered down by the hand of God himself, which only made the ache in Dean’s heart that much worse. He’d been in pain ever since he left two years prior, but he had no right to be—he knew that. After all, the reason he didn’t have you by his side was because he left. It was because he walked away. Deeply he’d sigh as the next verse again would line up with the exact thought in his head.
“Last time we talked, the night that I walked burns like an iron in the back of my mind. I must have been high, to say you and I, weren’t meant to be and just wasting my time. Oh why did I ever doubt you? You know I would die here without you.”
Death had truly paled in comparison to how he felt seeing the look in your eyes. All of the pain, the hurt as he watched you break in front of his very eyes. You’d been together three years in total, but what you didn’t know—what he refused to tell you is that his worst fear was becoming a reality. Lucifer had threatened you in order to make Dean comply with his demand. He’d figured out the only way to get to the elder Winchester was through you, seeing as Lucifer himself needed Sam for his own personal vendettas. It wasn’t long after this that Dean knew he had to get as far away from you as possible. All the pain and suffering he’d endured in his lifetime would be nothing if your death was due to him. He couldn’t live with that and more importantly, you deserved more than that out of this life.
“All that I’m after is a life full of laughter, as long as I’m laughing with you—and I think that all that still matters is love ever after, after the life we’ve been through. ‘Cause I know there’s no life after you.”
Sam began to stir in the backseat, which he’s caught sight of through the rear view mirror and so Dean quickly changed the station. He’d use Metallica specifically to shift the mood before his brother woke up and started asking too many questions. Questions that Dean wouldn’t have the answers to and he was already battling his mind to keep it all at bay.
Gripping Baby’s wheel tightly in his hands, he’d continue to path to Reno. About fifteen minutes later was when Sam’s eyes actually opened. “Mornin’ sleeping beauty.” Dean said with a (fake) smile on his face. “Ha-ha, very funny. Wait.. how long was I out? Are we in Nevada already?” He asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and noting their desert-like surroundings. “I don’t know, hours Sammy. Yeah we’re in Nevada—about an hour or two ‘til Reno.” Just saying the name of the city was enough to have him nervous again. There was a brief bit of silence between the brothers, Sam had a thought on the tip of his tongue but he didn’t know whether he should say it. Dean’s eyes had fixated on the road ahead and he sensed that his younger brother was gonna bring it up—bring you up, he’d always really liked you. Besides that, he could always seem to tell when things were troubling Dean despite his best efforts to hide it. “You know you could-“ Sam started but knowing it was coming, the elder brother immediately shut it down. “Sam, don’t. Please. I can’t and you know that.” Dean’s voice was shaky and that let him know that he’d already been thinking about things far too long. “You’ve been thinking about it. I know you, man. You think I didn’t see the look on your face when I told you we had something in Reno?” He sighed, knowing that his older brother was struggling with this didn’t make him feel good but he also knew it was making Dean feel worse. “Sammy, please.. I don’t wanna talk about it anymore.”
Sam would shake his head but he let it go, rehashing this with Dean while he was attempting to drive wasn’t gonna end well for either of them. Not to mention an hour and a half of odd tension in such a small place wasn’t ideal either. Instead, the younger brother’s eyes averted from the front of the car altogether as he turned to gaze out the window next to him. Sighing partially in relief and partially from the lingering thoughts, Dean would fully place his attention on the road and on the directions to this particular motel. They needed to get in, solve this case and get out before he did something he’d been trying for quite some time not to do.
Surprisingly this case was a little more difficult to follow through on, these vampires were incredibly elusive and their nest wasn’t the easiest to find. However, after a couple days lingering around they finally located the nest and were able to kill the three vamps that had been killing the locals. As it had become part of the job, Sam and Dean went out to a local dive bar to celebrate the victory—but Dean was trying to do more than that. He was trying to drown the lingering thoughts of you with whiskey, swallowing the liquid and letting it gently burn his throat. This would end up having the opposite effect and only made him think of you more. Over the first hour and change the brothers spent at the bar, three separate girls tried to hit on Dean but he didn’t really pay them any mind. Around the two hour mark the elder of the brothers decided he needed some air, getting up and walking outside. Dragging his dominant hand over his face he was doing anything to cling to that last bit of pride that he had. You were better off and he knew that, but every day that had been lost it was eating at him slowly. He needed a distraction and so he walked over to his precious car, getting into the driver’s seat and sighing. One flick of the wrist and the lights would come on, the radio coming in clear as day: it was that goddamn song again.
“You and I, right or wrong, there’s no other one. After this time spent alone it’s hard to believe that a man with sight could be so blind, thinking about the better times.. must’ve been out of my mind. So I’m running back to tell you.”
Again it seemed like the universe had intervened and Dean Winchester was far too drunk to fight it. Tears threatened to spill from his eyes and right now, all that he needed was you. He opened up the driver’s side door and got out just to come face to face with Sam, who had been worried when he couldn’t locate his brother in the bar. “What is it Dean?” He asked, noting the emotional state it was clear he was in—confused but not entirely. It wasn’t like him to be so open with his emotions, but you’d helped him with that. “I need to see her, Sammy. I can’t do this anymore.” There was enough emotion in his voice for his younger brother to know what he meant. Nodding Sam would approach the driver’s side door. “I’m driving, we’re not risking it with you.” Dean normally would protest but right now? All he needed to do was get to you. It didn’t matter how, he just needed to fill the void that he’d put there himself.
“All that I’m after is a life full of laughter, without you god knows what I’d do.”
Dean’s eyes were technically gazing out the window, but that’s not what he saw. His mind was flashing different images in rotation—one happy memory with you followed up by something he’d done to chase your memory away after he’d run away.
“All that I’m after is a life full of laughter, as long as I’m laughing with you and I think that all that still matters is love ever after—after the life we’ve been through. I know there’s no life after you.”
It seemed fast, but it had probably been about thirty minutes of time that had passed. Not that you lived very far at all, if you were even still at the last address the Winchesters had for you—Sam took a longer route hoping that Dean would sober up a little more before talking with you. Anyone would be able to smell the whiskey on him at this moment, but his words needed to be coherent if there was any chance of you hearing him out. It seemed that he had sort of the same idea because even when the impala had pulled into the driveway, he just sat there. “What if she doesn’t wanna talk?” Dean asked, somber tone to his voice as his eyes remained fixated on the front door of what he hoped was still your home. Mind racing almost as fast as his heart. “Dean, if I know anything about [Y/N], she’ll at least listen—even if she’s incredibly pissed and still hurt.” Sam reassured his older brother. Dean sighed again, not wanting to waste another second and also wanting to see have some alcohol in his system for this conversation. Slowly he opened the passenger side door and stepped out onto the asphalt driveway. Gently closing the door, it had still alerted a dog inside the home who was barking just a little bit every couple of seconds. He carried himself up the few cement steps, turning to see the front door closer than ever. Now more memories of the last time he was here were coming back.
“Dean, please.. why are you doing this? You can’t possibly just have stopped loving me, that’s not..” Her sobs were breaking his heart but he knew this was something he had to do. “Why are you walking away from this? From us? After everything we’ve been through.. after the life we’ve built from the ground up.. you’re just throwing it all away.” She felt as if there was a fire in your chest, she’d been sobbing so intensely for what seemed like forever. Mascara and eyeliner were smudged and made a mess of the space underneath her eyes. “Say something, Dean—please.. why are you pushing me away? What did I do?!” Every word became far more intense and the actual words were hard to discern from the sobs. Dean had just been staring at the floor since the words left his mouth. Three years next to her and he never imagined this day would come, but if you died just so Lucifer could get one up on him? He’d never survive. He’d never be able to carry the weight of your death or your blood on his hands—so this was the only way you got to live a long and happy life without him putting you in harm’s way. “[Y/N/N] I.. I just don’t think we were meant to work out. I’m sorry, I just-“ he was cut off by her intense sobs hearing him saying it again. “Please Dean.. don’t do this.. whatever I did wrong, whatever’s not working we can fix it. Please..” She pleaded, voice already hoarse from the crying and the wailing. “Sweetheart you didn’t do anything wrong. It’s me, I’m just, not made out for this relationship stuff.” He’d barely lifted his gaze again to meet her own, but only for a second. Seeing her like that was too hard for his heart to bare. “Why Dean.. please.. it’s been three years. Three years of this and we can talk about it. Whatever it is we can move past it together, don’t you love me anymore?” She sobbed out, arms wrapped around her own chest as Dean looked up to her face and met her gaze one last time. “Honey, I’ll love you ‘til the day I die.” Sighing he turned to walk out the front door, closing it and never looking back. He couldn’t look—his heart had already shattered.
Now here he was again, roughly two years later, taking the last few steps to fully stand at your front door. Lifting his hand which had formed a loose fist, he’d knock three times upon the wooden material of the door. There was no answer and no sign that anyone was home other than the dog barking that he’d heard moments prior. Dean was about to turn and walk back down the pathway when he heard the doorknob turning after the lock clicked out of position. “Do you know how late it is, what do you nee—“ her eyes widened when she realized who had just knocked at her door. “D-Dean.. what are you..” she felt her bottom lip quivering. Dean could tell this was the last thing she’d ever thought would happen. “Hi, sweetheart. I-“ before he could get another word out of his mouth, he was met with a harsh slap to the side of his face. His eyes fell as he collected his thoughts, waiting before speaking again. “I deserve that. I deserve that and so much more. [Y/N/N] I’m so sorry.. I’m so fucking sorry.” He got out, not being able to look back up at her just yet. “You’ve got some kind of nerve showing up here, this late at night.. Dean you broke my heart and you stomped on it to boot. Why do you think after two whole years that I’d listen to whatever the hell you have to say?” It was obvious that there was sadness and hurt laced within her voice, more so than the anger she’s trying to push forward. Slowly his head tilted back into its usual position and his eyes found hers again. “I know there’s no life after you.” It was all he could say in that second and her expression softened, before she’d built the wall back up. “You came all the way to quote a Daughtry song?”
“No, I’m quoting that damn song because for the three days Sam and I have been in Reno I’ve heard it everywhere. My car, in a store, hell in my head—[Y/N] I’ve been trying every day since I left to push your memory from my mind. I wanted so badly to forget about you and know that you were free to have a normal life. I also know that I’ve got no right to stand on your doorstep telling you how much pain I’ve been in since the second I walked out this door two years ago when this whole fucking thing is my fault.” He paused, tears slowly falling as he tried to blink them away. “[Y/N] I was afraid. I was so afraid.. I couldn’t lose you like that-“ Again he was cut off but just by her words this time. “Dean you did lose me, you pushed me away—fuck you pushed me out of your life altogether. You’re absolutely correct, you don’t have any right to stand here talking about your pain. I didn’t eat, I barely slept, for weeks after you left. All I did was lay on that couch and sob. Endlessly. After I couldn’t physically sob any more I thought, there has to be some kind of monster or witch doing this and so I researched for weeks and still barely ate and slept only a fraction more. All I came up with was dead end after dead end and so I finally had to realize the truth.” She sobbed out, pausing to try and steady her own voice. “You chose to leave on your own.” She’d opened her mouth to continue talking but now it was his turn to sob out, which caught her completely off guard. “He made me feel like I had no other choice..”
Now you stood with a perplexed look on your face as tears were streaming down your cheeks. “What.. who-“ before the question could even fully leave her lips, the man she loved began to speak again. “Lucifer. He needed Sammy, you know all that one true vessel shit, so he couldn’t hurt me that way. He knew any threat he put to Sam wouldn’t stick because deep down I knew that Lucifer needed Sam alive and well to complete whatever sick and twisted plan he had thought out.” She felt both her heart and her stomach drop, figuring out exactly where this was going. “[Y/N] he said he’d kill you and not think twice. I couldn’t.. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if you died all because I love you. I wouldn’t be able to breathe knowing that your death was my fault and I’d never get your blood off my hands.” His confidence had wavered, the alcohol mostly wearing off. You sighed, a silence falling over the two of you as you attempted to process what he’d just said. “Dean.. why didn’t you just talk to me? Tell me what he said and we could’ve talked about it.” She asked, the venom gone from her words and a sadness settling over them. “I was scared. I didn’t know how to admit that I was scared especially to you, I’m the one that was supposed to keep you safe. I know that’s not an excuse and I’m not trying to excuse me hurting you like I did—that image of you hugging yourself and crying the hardest I’d ever seen someone cry has haunted me all this time. I never wanna hurt anyone but I damn sure never wanted to hurt you.. at all—let alone like that..”
Again a silence fell between them, it felt like a lifetime between their words and the action she’d finally take. Stepping forward she used both of her hands to cup his face, both having glassy hues due to all the tears. “I forgive you, Dean.” She said almost in a whisper. He felt his heart racing and he eyes searched hers for any sign that this might not be true. Seconds felt like hours but he couldn’t find any sign of deception and instinctively, he plunged forward to connect his lips with her own. It had caught her off guard but she was returning the kiss with an explosion of passion. They chased the other’s lips in a back and forth motion until they both couldn’t breathe. After pushing the limit a little further they’d separate but remain forehead-to-forehead. “I know there’s no life after you.” She spoke in a soft tone before pulling Dean inside of her home and re-locking the door.

You stood deathly still in the middle of the thick, dense jungle. Sweat ran down your skin in pools, the muggy heat doing nothing to help calm you down. Your muscles had grown so taut you feared they might snap under the pressure. Your limbs were frozen in place as you fought against the rising panic in your chest.
This was a nightmare. Your worst nightmare.
The one thing you feared above everything else.
And you were stuck--unable to move to free yourself from the situation.
You whimpered pitifully as your captain came hopping back down from the tree he had climbed, bouncing like some ball as he called your name, arm extended to show off the stick he had found for you to admire.
“This one is so much cooler then the one you found. Usopp is going to be so jealo--why are you all pale?” Luffy asked, titling his strawhat adorned head and blinking his long eyelashes slowly at you as he tried to figure out what was wrong.
Everything was wrong. So, so wrong.
“H-Help.” Your tightened throat croaked out. “Help me. Please.” Luffy’s easy going nature shifted instantly, steady seriousness filling his dark brown eyes as they scanned the small amount of cleared space you both stood in.
“What’s wrong? Someone here?”
“Luffy.” You stressed, that nightmare growing closer and closer. He snapped back to you and you found the strength within you to shakily lift your hand to point to your other, already outstretched arm. “Please--get it off.”
His eyes followed your guidance to find the big, furry spider crawling its way slowly up your arm. One that had some how, thanks your horrible luck, had found its way to land on you.
But, instead of instantly coming to your rescue, that signature grin of his stretched across his face, bringing attention to the thin scar just under his left eye.
“Cooool! Where did you find that tarantula?” Luffy asked, coming into your orbit. He took your wrist in his strong, warm hand only so he could observe the creature more closely.
“Get it off!” You panicked, your heart feeling as if it might burst out of your chest. “Please, please, please get it off!” Your panic turned into a near sob of fear, your eyes beginning to sting with it.
“‘Kay.” Luffy shurgged, happily scooping the too-many legged monster off your skin.
The frozen spell the vile beast had put you under fell away and you scrambled from Luffy, bumping into a nearby tree in your rush. You frantically swiped and scrubbed at your skin to try and get rid of the icky feel of all those furry legs.
“He’s not bad, Y/N. He’s friendly, see.” Luffy said, bounding back over to you, spider in hand, to show you just how ‘firendly’ it was.
“NO! Luffy!” You screamed, sprinting away from your captain who continued to happily chase you with it like this was a game, that cackling, mischievous laugh of his never ceasing.
“He’s so tiny and fluffy! He’s not gonna hurt you.”
“Tiny? Look at it’s fangs!” You screeched as Luffy hopped infront of you again. You were quick to freeze in your place before you could run head first into Luffy and the horrid demon he held. Luffy smiled brightly at you as he raised the spider up all too close to his eyes.
“You know it would be the coolest if we could have fangs too.” He mused, lightly petting the tarantula who seemed too at ease within Luffy’s hold. “Like….this!” Luffy snapped his head back towards you, both his canine teeth stretched, thanks to his Devil Fruit powers, to resemble that of long, sharp fangs. You huffed in annoyance at him.
“Can you please just--throw it away or something? It’s--I don’t like it.” Luffy gave a loud whine in protest, teeth snapping back to normal.
“But--Y/N, just come look at him. He’s super cute. And you like super cute animals. He’s like Chopper--well…expect he’s not a reindeer and can’t talk.” Luffy said, starting towards you once more. You took a step back with every step he took forward.
“It sure as hell is nowhere near as cute as Chopper. I don’t want to look at it.” You snapped.
“He’s more scared of you then you are of him, I swear.” You yelped when your back hit another tree, blocking you from moving any further. Your heart began to race as you spied the demon still resting in Luffy’s plam.
“Luffy--I’m serious.”
“And I’m serious too. Can you just look at him? Please? I’ll hold him the whole time.” Luffy begged, thankfully stopping in his journey towards you. You watched him and the monster for a very, very long moment. A moment you took to try and calm your heaving breath.
“Will it make you quit bugging me with that--thing, if I do?” Luffy nodded rapidly, his smiling growing ever the more wide. “Don’t you dare more or I swear I’ll kill you.”
“Still as a statue.” Luffy said, making a show of freezing up his body. You approached him as slow as a snail, your breath becoming heavy and short all over again.
“It’s okay. You know I won’t let anything happen to you.” Luffy smoothed as you came to a stop a few inches before him. His words helped steady your breathing, but made your heart pitter-patter in a different rhythm then that of fear or panic.
A rhythm your heart had been beating for your captain for a long, long time now. Ever since he had dragged you from your little back water home and took you on all the adventures you had ever dreamed of.
From wicked, hook-wielding Warlords, islands in the sky full of angels, strange games amongst enemy pirates, to islands flooded with water, and the start of new friendships--that rhythm had been there, sounding only for him. For the man who was making your dreams become a reality and whose kind and warm, yet strong nature pushed you to grow more then you could have ever thought possible.
And here he was again, pushing you to over come this seemingly silly fear of yours in such a--loving and caring way that just made that rhythm beat all the more fast.
“Its…” It was ugly. It was just as horrible to look at in Luffy hand as it was on your arm…but it was fluffy…and you did enjoy a good fluffy animal. “It looks like he’s wearing orange socks.” You observed, glancing up at Luffy whose smile was brighter then the sun beating down on you.
“He does! That’s what we should call him then. Socks!” Luffy broke his statued state to pet the spider again. “Hi, Socks. You’re gonna love it on the Sunny. We’ll even have Franky build you a tank--Oo! Right next to the aquarium!” You snapped away from the spider with a shake of your head.
“No. That thing--”
“Socks.” Luffy reminded you chipperly. You only huffed.
“Socks is not coming with us back to the Sunny.” Luffy whined again as you started for your dropped supply pack.
“But--he’ll be lonely here.” You felt your skin prick in more fear when Luffy’s voice was much closer to you then it had been before. You hesitantly looked to the side to find a thousand beady little eyes staring back at you. You gave a throaty scream that you tried to keep as muffled as you physically could, all but throwing yourself backward.
“He--he has family here, I’m sure.” You said as calmly as you could, pulling your pack onto your shoulder. Luffy groaned, but agreed with you.
“Yeah.” You watched him place Socks on a moss covered log, saying a quick goodbye to the furry beast. Luffy’s sad face made you feel just the tiniest bit sorry for him…for him and Socks.
“Luffy…” You said as he grabbed up his stick again and you both started back through the jungle. “I’m sorry we couldn’t keep Socks.” Luffy shrugged.
“Eh. You’re right. He has a family here. A life. I couldn’t take him from that.” Luffy said, that lovely smile of his pulling to his face. “Besides,” He continued, throwing an arm over your shoulders and pulling you into his side. You felt your skin heat and heart start up its pitter-pattering all over again at his closeness. “I wouldn’t want Socks to keep scaring you like that.” He said, nuzzling his face into your cheek. You leaned into his affectionate touch, savoring anything he would give you.
“Thank you…maybe we can find a less--leggy animal to keep as a pet.” Luffy lit up like one of Usopp’s fireworks.
“Really?” You nodded, spurring Luffy’s hold on you to fall away despite your want to keep him close. “Awesome! I’m gonna go look!” He stated before bouncing off deeper into the jungle, leaving you to try and calm your racing heart all over again.

the guy was so confused about why you looked like you were glowing and why his heart was about to beat out of his chest.
death stared you the entire first week you moved to town.
he later confronts you asking if you do witchcraft. you obviously answer you don't. he thinks you're lying and got plastic surgery.
you say you didn't with like the prettiest smile he's ever seen. he takes your word for it and everyone was shocked.
since then he's been like a parasite who always seems to be stuck with you always there to shoo off anyone irrelevant.
thinks he has asthma bc every time he sees you his breath cuts short and fucking hates himself for "having" asthma.
has tried on multiple occasions to "get rid" of people who bothered you even in the slightest way.

is actually so fucking flustered around you.
when he saw you in the cafeteria walking in he couldn't take his eyes off you the entire time, even with his friends calling for him.
if you even give him the slightest hint you're into him, he will take matters into his own hands and just brag to everyone.
for funsies of course.
deffo helps you away from any unwanted eyes, help meaning may literally threaten them in the worst ways possible.
when he's around you its like he's in a daze for him, he just feels like he's on cloud nine and is living the best life ever.

the classic and boring response is a throws up. but he actually doesn't do that contrary to popular beliefs.
he faints instead!
he thought he died since he saw an angel and then his vision went black but he thought hey at least that meant hed be in heaven.
he is stunned when he wakes up in the nurse's office and sees you worried about him of all people.
is like a stuttering mess but he starts slowly but surely relaxing around you, still very nervous talking to you though.
has bragged very purposely in front of wendy that y'all are friends.
while he may not be good at romance, he does try. and by trying i mean he makes u a picnic and brings takeout.
Tumblr media
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ kenny mccormick.
ay, he has a heart attack because of you.
kidding. but bro does feel his heart like- stop when he sees you walking down the halls like it's some rom-com movie.
instantly starts making moves on you, no hesitation.
doesn't matter whats going on, if he has the chance, hell take it.
at one point thought you were like his actual guardian angel because he had yet to die after meeting you.
still thinks you are and worships the ground you walk on.
very much one of those "ill do anything for you" but he actually will do anything for you, like seriously. just ask.
Tumblr media
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ butters stotch.
surprisingly the most normal of the bunch.
treats you like a normal human being thankfully.
though he does like stutter around you a lot but that calms down and he's usually back to his normal self in like a day or two.
is very much attached to you especially since his parents have
brags so much to the guys and tells them to "suck on these nuts bitch" because you don't hang out with them, ever.
has tried, and failed, to set up a date with you two. cried himself to sleep, and repeated this process for like a week.
it did work. at his house, in front of his parents! but it was kinda fun, you surprisingly got along with them very well.

warnings: angsty themes, mentions of abandonment, arguing, happy-ish ending (but also sad)
wc: 1.2k
a/n: this is my first angsty fic, so please bare with me! <3
You should have known better. You did know better.
Yet for some reason, you found yourself caught up in his chaos again. Luke was always a hard worker, this is something he prided himself on. The way he could completely immerse himself in his work and focus on nothing else. It was the only time his mind was quiet.

Sometimes it occurred to you that maybe his job was his only true love because, for the third time this week, Luke found himself walking through the front door at an ungodly hour. He assumed you’d be tucked away asleep, but was proven wrong when he saw your displeased features looming at him from the couch.
He gently set his hockey bag down, clearly sensing the thick tension practically rolling off your body. Luke was scared to move or talk for that matter. Now of course, he knew why you were upset with him, as you had every right to be, but what you didn’t know was Luke would often find an escape on the ice, a way to heal scars he tried so hard to conceal. So it was easy for him to lose track of time, needing to expel all of his emotions. It was the only way he knew how to process.
And with your ongoing relationship issues, Luke began to disappear. At least, that’s what it felt like to you. One of your biggest fears was Luke leaving you, so it truly felt like you were living in your worst nightmare when the distance between you grew. The feeling of abandonment engraved in your mind was impossible to get rid of.
Letting out a deep sigh, you couldn’t find the energy to scold him again. “Why, Luke?”
The simple question hung in the air like a rope, tight and unwavering. Truth be told, Luke didn’t have an answer. He didn’t know why all he wanted to do was bury his head in the sand until morning when he could get back to the rink. He didn’t know why he couldn’t convey his feelings properly. He didn’t know why he felt so scared to be vulnerable around you.
Taking his silence as an answer, you rose from the couch. Not taking a second glance in Luke’s direction, you made your way to your shared bedroom. Luke immediately followed suit. He watched as you grabbed an overnight bag, half-hazardly throwing things in. He reached out to touch your arm.
“No!” You yanked your arm away looking up at his guilt-ridden eyes. “You don’t get to feel bad. I told you. I told you how you being distant all the time made me feel. But you clearly don’t care enough to change anything.”
Luke roughly ran a hand through his messy curls.
“Look y/n, you know I care about you. But-” You quickly cut him off.
“See? There shouldn’t even be a but. You simply just don’t care, Luke.” Tears began to fill your eyes at this point. “I’m at a loss. I told you I wanted to work on us and I thought you did too. But apparently I was wrong.”
Luke shook his head in protest, “Of course I want to work on us! You haven’t given me a chance to try and explain!” He tried tirelessly to let you hear him out. Unfortunately, his attempts were in vain.
“I gave you plenty of chances to explain, Luke. It’s too late.” The next words that left your mouth cut through Luke’s heart like a dagger. “I-I think we should take a break.”
Luke’s breath quickened as his heart rate began to rise. Tears immediately sprung in his eyes, “Don’t say that. You don’t mean that. Please, please say you don’t mean that” He begged.
You had never seen Luke break down like that. The pain in your chest was hard to ignore as you tried your best to control the sobs that now shook your body. You didn’t trust your voice enough to speak, so you grabbed your bag and attempted to go around Luke’s frame. He gripped onto your bag, causing your body to sharply turn back.
“Y/n, don’t leave it like this,” He sobbed, “Don’t leave us like this!” You scoffed at his last remark.
“I’m the one leaving? Luke, you left this relationship a long time ago. It just sucks I didn’t notice it until now. I could have saved us both the time.” Your voice became dull. You had lost all motivation to fight for what you and Luke had lost. You were tired.
“I-I don’t understand. You told me you wanted me to try and here I am, trying. This time you are the one walking away. Not me.” Luke’s voice began to become unsteady. Overwhelmed with the severity of the situation. He was flooded with anger, confusion, and most of all: sadness. He felt completely helpless. Two hours ago all he wanted was to stay on that ice until the world stopped, but now it felt as though the world did. Except now, all he wanted was you.
“Just stop it, Luke. This is it. What’s done is done, and I need you to understand that.” The tone of absolute in your voice made his blood run cold.
“I don’t want to understand, I want you to stay.” Luke felt his ears start ringing. He was pierced by your neutral gaze. You didn’t continue towards the door, but you didn’t make a move for him either. Luke was in agony waiting for you to say something. He chose to take your silence as an opportunity.
“Just let me say something. Please.” He pleaded with you. “I know, I messed up. I wasn’t there for you, or for us. But I can’t stand the thought of waking up every day without you. Not hearing you sing in the shower when I come home from practice. Not smelling your perfume on my hoodies, or watching the way your mouth twitches when you’re reading. But most of all, I can’t fathom the thought of not having you love me. Out of everything in this world, you have been the one constant thing I can depend on. So please, please, just stay. Stay for me.” Luke’s bloodshot eyes bore into yours as his tears violently spilled from his eyes.
You felt your own drip down your face at his words, leaving hot wet trails in their wake. This is the first time Luke has ever been this vulnerable in front of you. You felt as if you were truly seeing him for the first time, the real Luke Hughes.
“Okay,” You whispered, “I’ll stay. I’ll stay with you, in this relationship. But I can’t stay here right now.” With that, you managed your way out of the bedroom to the front door. Luke desperately followed your steps.
“Baby, please. Wait.” He stopped in his place when you turned towards him. You walked up to him, cupping a gentle hand on his cheek. You placed a soft but promising kiss against his swollen lips. The love shared between you lingered as you pulled your lips from his. You stepped back, readjusting your bag on your shoulder.
“I need some time to think. But I’ll be back. I promise.” And with that, you left.
Luke knew better than to follow you. But here he stood, staring at the closed front door. Left with a reassuring promise, yet a shattered heart.

. . .
The whistle of snowflakes dancing through the gloomy winter air was a faint tickle against your ears as you slumped boredly in your seat with a soft pout forming upon your chapped lips. It felt like you had been waiting for Alastor’s return for a long, dragging eternity.
You had long since ceased your search of the store as the minutes dragged on, and soon you retreated back to the waiting room to wait for Alastor.
But leaving yourself alone with your thoughts in mere silence proved to be one of the worst decisions you’ve ever made.
You scrunched your nose up in disbelief. What could they even be discussing that was so important, anyway? And Alastor was so quick to get rid of you, and he hadn’t even thought to introduce his friend to you! Instead, he flung you around like some toy that wasn’t meant to be shared!
Granted, you already knew Rosie’s name, but your point still stood!
You looked over to the grandfather clock. A little over half-past noon, now. You sighed with slight ire and looked out toward the window that had been kissed with February’s frost, but the gloomy fog did nothing to cool your temper.
Lately, Alastor had been given you such mixed signals, not to mention the frothing volcano of overwhelming emotions that felt as if they would erupt any second. One moment, you were both mere inches away from each other, sparkles rejoicing behind your eyes, and the next, Alastor had pulled – though he never pushed you – away from you with a never-faltering grin, ready to drag you along with whatever antics he had next in store for you as if nothing had ever happened.
He was an overwhelming, unpredictable sandstorm that swept you off your feet and tugged at your heartstrings, somehow knowing how to push all the right buttons.
A rumbling gray cloud formed above you as you crossed your arms in your seat, wondering where you had gone wrong with him. Perhaps he simply didn’t want a relationship with you? Possibly, but he wasn’t the kind of man to string a poor girl like you along with all of these confusing messages, whether they be a secretive, flirtatious wink in your direction, or the sensation of soft, caramel brown hands wrapped around your wrists as he taught you to play piano from behind, tender instructions brushing against your ears like devoted prayers.
You groaned and held your head in your hands, smoothing out your scrunched brow and entangling frustrated fingers into your hair.
What in the world could you possibly have been missing? Was he too afraid to confess himself? Or were you just reading him wrong?
“We’re finished, darling!” Alastor’s voice rang out like a siren, and you instantly perked up at its dulcet tone. You mentally berated yourself for being so dependent on the man, but your heart seemed to answer for your head, these days.
“Oh? Are we heading home, now?”
Alastor entered the waiting room with a raised eyebrow, peeking inside to find where your voice was coming from and visibly relaxed once he spotted you laying lazily upon the lush sofa chair, nearly swallowed up in the enormous cushions.
“Not to worry, my dear,” Alastor fully stepped into the waiting room, with Rosie in tow. She stepped back a few ways away from you with scrutinizing eyes, and a finger rubbing against her chin while she observed you and Alastor. “This was only a detour to our main event, this afternoon! I wouldn’t want you to miss out upon the surprise, after all!”
Well, he seems chipper.
You raised an eyebrow at him. “I thought that this was the surprise...?”
“Oho, no, no! No, as much as I enjoy dear Rosie’s company,” he side-glanced the store owner from where she stood with a knowing simper stretching her black-lined lips and a raised eyebrow, as if to say, ‘Go on.’
“This meeting was merely to discuss business. Had it been simply pleasantry, I wouldn’t have regretfully forced you to wait for me for so long,” Alastor took your hand within his, a silent apology dancing behind his deep, dark eyes. Rosie nodded with approval behind him, making your eyebrows raise even further, to the point of nearly rising off your forehead. What were those two talking about?
Schemers, the both of them.
“It’s nothing to worry about, Al’... Just, let me know next time that you’re gonna be long, alright?” You smiled softly up at him; every doubt you had evaporating in an instant the moment you saw his genuine expression.
Though your suspicions had remained unsatiated from the glances he and Rosie shared.
“I suppose I can help that, but I do love keeping you on your toes,” your annoyed scowl made him chuckle lightheartedly. “Though I shall try, darling, since I most definitely want to keep mine!”
“Oh, you two are just too sweet!” Rosie looked as if she were about to wipe a tear from her eyes, while Alastor’s smile just ever so slightly tightened as she suddenly stepped towards you with an outstretched hand.
“I’m afraid I haven’t formally introduced myself! You may have guessed, but the name’s Rosie, my dear.” She gazed down at you, a perfect white smile gleaming in the warm light of the antique lamps as you shook her hand, craning your neck so you could properly look her in the eyes.
“It’s nice to meet you. Again, I suppose,” her smile doubled in size as she instantly whisked you away from Alastor, much to his dismay. When he allowed Rosie to get near you for the sake of your relationship, he didn’t mean she could intervene entirely!
Though, the woman had her mysterious ways, he supposed. But this was a bit much, even for her!
“My goodness! I can’t believe that Al’s been hiding you away from me for so long! Now, dear, tell me all about yourself,” Rosie sat you down in front of a table beside a large glass window, though the mannequins donning such expertly crafted dresses and attire had blocked the small tea-table from an outside view.
Alastor could only watch on with brewing envy as she talked your ears off, and how you cast an unsure glance back at him for just a moment, before answering her questions with a sudden surge of shyness in the light of her exuberant personality.
“So, how’s New Orleans treatin’ ya’? I sure do hope Alastor’s been hospitable!” Rosie chirped, her exuberance infecting you as you nodded up at her.
“O-Oh, yes, he's quite good company. I do hope I've been just as pleasant,” The seamstress’s smile widened, and she winked over to her friend, who's already twitching grimace of a smile tightened even further in response.
“I’m quite certain you are! We’ve been friends for a while, you know,” Rosie grinned cheekily, like a mother sharing her son's baby pictures to a close friend of his. “And in all my years, I must say, that I haven’t seen him been so close to a lady like he has been with you!”
You perked up, your eyes wide and instantly attentive to what she had said, which Rosie picked up on in an instant, sniffing out your immediate interest in Alastor like a bloodhound.
“Oh, don’t get me wrong, now, Alastor is quite the chivalrous one towards young ladies such as yourself,” Rosie glanced over at him with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, “but I’ve been friends with him long enough to know when he’s truly taken with another, and that doesn’t happen often~!”
“...Really?” You glanced over at him, before realizing he was staring directly at the both of you. You then noticed how far away from him Rosie had pushed you, but you paid no mind as her captivating presence pulled you in for a loop once again.
“So, have you been seein’ anyone recently? Anyone that little chocolate in your pocket could be meant for?”
“Well...” You made the mistake of glancing sideways towards the eavesdropping radio host, and the mirth that sparked within Rosie’s eyes warned Alastor of you being sucked into her diabolical scheming.
Now, the seamstress truly adored Alastor, as he’d been quite the friend to her all of those years, spiffing and entertaining in every way, being a renowned radio host.
...But she’d be lying if she didn’t admit that he was, without a doubt, the daftest man she’d ever met when it came to romancing.
And God forbid that you use innuendos or flirtatious remarks around him. It was quite possibly the worst case she’d ever seen, really.
And so, a little interference from a dear friend wouldn’t hurt him.
Well, maybe his ego.
But he had plenty of that to spare, did he not?
Though, even Rosie knew she was getting quite carried away, as she stole more of your attention and time away from Alastor.
What could she say? The woman was taking quite a liking to you.
I’ll have to tell Alastor to bring this one around more...
You and Rosie began gossiping like a pair of teenage girls over the disgruntled radio host like he wasn’t standing in the corner, hearing – or trying to hear – every word you spoke.
His right eye twitched as your giggling filled the emporium, and he strode over to insert himself into every conversation that seemed to concern him. Alastor had even startled you a few times when you were talking about him with Hugo, seeming to materialize out of thin air whenever he was a topic of conversation.
Especially when you were involved.
“Just be careful, now,” Rosie caught sight of Alastor heading towards you, and her soft, all-knowing grin widened. “He’s always been quite averse to sharing!”
“Oh, tell me about it,” you sighed, “Though, I know he’s only protecting me. I must say, I never thought I’d enjoy such attentions,” the older woman put a hand to her lips with an excited grin, the both of you being ignorantly unaware of how Alastor loomed over you until he placed his hands promptly on your shoulders.
You jumped with a slight squeak and looked up at him, your cheeks burning as Alastor smiled down at you, hopefully oblivious to what you had been foolishly spilling your heart out to Rosie about. “And just whose ‘attentions’ do you seem to be so taken with, darling?”
Uh...
“Oh, the Doll was only telling me about your famous cooking! No need to get so riled up,” Rosie spoke up for you, to your immense relief. With a creeping sense of dread, you realized how much you had let on to her.
But something in Rosie’s twinkling, sympathetic gaze that shifted towards you made you relax, and you beamed hopefully up at him. “I was thinking you could teach me your mother’s recipe, sometime! I was kind of just following the instructions, and I'd like to learn from the chef himself!”
Alastor's once tightened smile that was shadowed by a grimace softened significantly at your words. “I believe you’re already quite the master at it yourself, my dear~.”
He fondly recalled the thick, warm consistency of the broth you had made, and the perfect blend of aromatic spices that melted and fizzled upon his tongue, bringing waves of nostalgia and reminiscing that rocked him back and forth.
It was the night that it felt like he was seeing you through opened eyes.
Had you always been so beautiful?
“Alastor? Have we lost ya'?” Rosie elbowed him slightly, and with a shake of his head, he snapped out of his trance, realizing he had been staring into your eyes for just a bit too long.
“You’re gonna give the poor girl a heart attack, at this rate,” she teased with a soft smile. Oh, lord, you two would be a piece of work. But she was sure that her hard work would be worth it.
Plus, a sweet, darling Doll like you deserved someone as gracious and gentlemanly as Alastor; there were too many brutes in this world, and he was certainly not one of them.
And her old friend had been alone within his twisted mind for far too long.
“Alright, you two get on movin’, now,” Rosie abruptly began steering you towards the front door, a bit of a pep in her step as Alastor tread behind you, while she chatted your ears off.
“Oh- well, we don’t have to go now, do we?” a pit of disappointment burrowed in your stomach. You liked the eccentric seamstress quite an awful lot, and her contagious, extroverted energy infected you with the same amount of enthusiasm.
“Aw, don’t stick around just for me, now. I’ll do just fine, I promise!” She glanced at Alastor with a twinkle in her eyes. “But I wouldn’t mind if you brought her along for more trips to the boutique, not at all!”
"I suppose I'll take it into consideration," Alastor chose to be the calm one for the both of you as you nodded your head enthusiastically.
"We'll definitely be coming back!" Rosie chuckled and led you both into the waiting room.
“I do hope you’ll protect her, Alastor, what with that slasher running around,” she dramatically cupped her own pale cheeks, and the radio host caught onto her hint, squeezing your shoulder and narrowing his eyes at the store owner.
Oh, Alastor wasn’t a brute, certainly not. But if he wasn’t the most dangerous man in New Orleans, then some sort of eldritch God must’ve been stalking the woodlands. Though, you were too focused on what she had said to catch the pointed glances that they shared.
“Oh, I’m perfectly safe with Al’, here!” You sounded confident enough, though Alastor still felt your slightly trembling grip on his coat sleeve. A small smile made its way to his face as he tugged you into him for emphasis.
“She’ll be safe in my company, don’t you worry about her, now!” A small bloom of pride welled up in his chest as he preened at the fact that he would be indeed keeping you safe, by ridding these streets of the pesky little insects that dared cross into his territory.
“Careful, now. Don’t get too excited to swoop in and rescue your little damsel in distress,” Rosie grinned toothily after the both of you, adoring the proximity between you and Alastor as if she were watching the romantic development of a soap opera.
“I’m afraid we must be going, now. A pleasure as always, Rosie,” he waved a fluttering hand in the air in farewell as he pushed you towards the door, and you turned back to Rosie and waved with a small smile that grew wider as she waved back.
“I hope to see you troublemakers again soon~! Take care, Alastor.”
He nodded and opened the door for you, the bell jingling softly as you stepped outside and headed for the car. As you walked across the rocky pavement, you inhaled the seasonal scent of fresh evergreen and sunlight, enjoying the sight of the cleared sky until you slipped into the warmth of Alastor's car.
As you buckle your seatbelt, the rays of the sun warmed you in your seat, and much to Alastor's disappointment, you seemed to be content without his jacket.
“So, where are you taking me now, mister? What kind of surprise do have in store for me?" You leaned against the dash, admiring the soft glow of sunlight that bounced against his caramel brown skin, illuminating his eyes and weaving through his dark hair.
“The entire point of a surprise is not to spoil it for the end, darling~,” Alastor hummed as he turned the keys in the slot, and the car rumbled to life.
The once heavy fog that hung over the city of New Orleans had dispersed, as if your joyful mood had caused the Sun to break through the clouds, leaving the city bathed in delicious apricity.
Alastor, ever the biased man when it came to you, would've preached your powers over the weather for that one.
You reached over for the radio and turned the little knobs a few times, smiling as a familiar song began to play, the speakers crackling with soft static.
"Midnight, the stars and you..."
Humming along, you bobbed your head as you took a peek out of the window, watching as the blur of large brick buildings and stores slowly faded into the natural lushness of the countryside, forest and woodland galore surrounding the road as Alastor drove uphill.
"Midnight, and a rendezvous~..."
As the murky afternoon made way for a vibrant, vermillion-tinted sunset, the headlights of the car illuminated the rocky dirt path ahead as the trees overheard blocked out the sunlight.
"Your eyes held a message tender, saying "I surrender all my love to you..."
Soon, the vehicle was pulled to a stop, right in front of a pathway that led uphill, supposedly to a cliff, by the looks of it.
"Midnight brought us sweet romance, I know my whole life through..."
“Where have you taken me, now?” You narrowed your playful gaze at the radio host, and he simply chuckled and reached over to brush a stray hair from your cheek.
"I'll be remembering you, whatever else I do...
“You’ll see, my dear.”
"Midnight, the stars and you."
Damp grass crunched beneath the soles of your black Mary Janes as you slid out of your car seat. The scent of misty dewdrop overwhelmed your senses, and as you inhaled the crisp winter air, you shivered off your pent-up nerves.
The trunk of the car slammed, and Alastor emerged from behind it with his hands clasped behind his back. You narrowed your suspicious gaze at him as you stood behind the wooden fence overlooking the edge of the cliff.
“And just what do you have there, Al’?”
“Can’t get anything past your eyes, can I, darling~? Oh well, if you must know,” with a gentle simper, he brought his hand to your jaw.
“It has something to do with this,” a blush crept up your cheeks and burned against the tips of your ears as he murmured breathily against your cheek and turned your chin towards the edge of the cliff.
The twinkling lights of New Orleans mimicked the showing stars above as they danced merrily in the sea of a deep violet dripping into an alluring crimson, and finally fading into the radiant glow of the sun as it slowly dipped beneath the earth.
“It’s... Oh, God, Al’, it’s so beautiful...”
As the last dying breaths of daylight fell beneath the horizon, you flickered your gaze to Alastor, memorizing every inch of his face, every freckle and pore in the rare proximity that you had with him in this moment.
Your eyes fell to his lips, a soft tug aching at your heart, begging you to move closer, and oh, how you couldn’t have known how he was fighting that very same urge now. His eyes watched the sunset for a moment more, before falling to you.
Radiant couldn’t even begin to describe you.
Slowly, his hand edged along the fence, the unfamiliar gesture so hilariously foreign it made your eyes widen in surprise.
You pretended not to notice it as your fingertips teased along the wooden gate towards his, and his inched closer in return, warm, slender fingers nearly brushing up against your own.
“Breathtaking, isn’t it?”
“Utterly,” you finally murmured, the air nearly pulled out of your lungs at the sound of his voice. It sounded so... pure, so genuinely like Alastor in his relaxed state, his accent a foreign, suave undertone to his words, carried upon a smooth tune that one could only catch when he sang, or when you heard him like this.
And only you could ever hear Alastor like this.
“Thank you for showing me this... It’s amazing,” you whispered, flickering your awestruck gaze from him to the fading light of the impending night sky.
Honestly, the sunset wasn’t even the highlight. You just wanted an excuse to trail your gaze along the glowing features of the man that haunted your dreams and managed to chase away your nightmares.
It was Alastor. God, it always had to be Alastor, didn’t it?
“Oh, the night’s just begun, my dear!” A gush of wind tousled your air as you were twirled from your place beside him, eliciting a delighted giggle from you as you landed firmly upon your feet, or rather, Alastor's tight grip wouldn't allow you to fall.
"I have just a few more tricks up my sleeve. Now, close your eyes."
You blinked dumbly, and he chuckled as he released you.
"Oh, alright. I suppose I'll indulge your whims, just this once," you turned on your heel and covered your eyes, only able to hear the rustling of cloth, the clink of a glass, the spark of a match being struck, and finally, Alastor calling out to you.
"Open your eyes, darling~."
Slowly, you turned around, opening your eyes to the sight of him kneeling upon a plaid patterned blanket laid out upon the grass, holding two glasses and a bottle of red wine in his hands.
You placed your hands to your lips with a soft gasp as candlelight flickered softly against the blanket, protected by a tall, cylinder-shaped glass case.
"My God... Rosie was right," you muttered, chuckling softly as you shook your head and sat yourself down beside him. His content, close-lipped smile drew you in like a moth to a flame, seeking more of his warmth, even if it meant being burned.
"You're going to give me a heart attack one of these days," you took a glass, watching his attentive gaze as he carefully poured yourself and him a cup of wine.
The tantalizing liquid swished in the glass, catching the flickering candlelight in glimpses.
"Then I suppose an antidote is in order," Alastor lifted his half-lidded gaze to you, clinking the glasses together in a silent toast.
. . .
The rest of the evening felt like a beautiful, distant dream, doused in bubbling laughter and warm liquid happiness, as you two remained blissfully unaware of the candle's slow descent of melting into a pile of cooled wax.
Its dying light flickered softly, casting shadows onto you as rested your head against Alastor's slender chest. The man was holding you so tenderly that you almost didn't recognize it was he who pulled you into his arms.
Luckily for you, Alastor could hold his alcohol better than anyone you’d met, and so, within the content clarity of laying with you in his arms, he pulled you flush against his frame and reveled in the intimacy that wouldn’t come with your remembrance of anything that happened that night.
He settled onto the blanket, snuggling you close and enjoying your flush body’s warmth, teasing his hands along your sides while inhaling the scent of your shampoo coupled with the dewy midnight air.
"Hey, Allie...?"
Alastor blinked at the nickname, chuckling softly as he replied, “Yes, my dear?”
"I don't know if I like you as a friend..."
"Oh? Well, it ails me to hear that, darling," he pretended to pout softly down at you while your squinted in frustration.
"Nooo... I just," you huffed, resting further into his chest as he held you, reveling in how perfect you fit into his grasp.
Ah, a bit of a clingy drunk, are we?
As long as you were clinging to him, then Alastor didn't mind.
"I... don't think I can like you... as just a friend."
"Oh?" His eyes flickered from the small back of your neck to your eyes as you stared up at him, imploring for him to understand.
"I think... I think I really like you..." you mumbled softly against Alastor's chest, a soft blush tickling your cheeks as you pressed yourself further against him.
“Many people do.”
"Hm... Not like I do..."
Alastor's breath hitched in his throat. Now, just what could that mean? Did you like him more than just as a friend? That perhaps you liked him more than you even let on? Maybe, just maybe, could it mean that you loved him?
But Alastor knew better than to trust the drunken words of his intoxicated darling. Besides, it was getting late, and he'd hate to keep you out in the cold any longer. Plus, you and Rosie would've let the radio host have it if he purposefully left you out there simply to get more answers out of you.
"Hey, where are we going?" Alastor stood you up, raising an eyebrow at the slight sway in your stance as you nearly stumbled, and had it not been for his steadying grip, you would have eaten a mouthful of dirt.
"Ah-ah-ah! Steady, now, I can't have you falling all over me, can I~?" You rolled your eyes half-heartedly.
*Hiccup* "Yeah, yeah... I'll be fine, Al'," you muttered, though you put up no fight as Alastor swept you into his arms into a bridal carry.
"Heh... Y'know, Al', have I ever told you that you kinda look like a deer?" You reached up to play with the frays of his coat as he carried you back to the car.
"Hm... No, I don't believe anyone's told me that," he replied hesitantly, his lips thinning slightly at the observation. Alastor didn't exactly love his likeness being compared to prey.
"Well, you do," you smiled and reached up to fluff out his hair, which he reluctantly allowed for now.
"And what makes you say that, my dear?"
"Your eyes. They're so... soft and round. Like your hair," you continued to tangle your hands into his hair, sighing softly as you leaned against him with a dreamy smile, completely lost to the affect you had on the poor man who was restraining from just squishing and kissing your cute little face-
Alastor's grip had shifted slightly to open the car door and he laid you down upon the car seat with a head pat and a tender, close-lipped smile. "Looks can be deceiving, my dear. Remember that."
You weren't so sure about that. The radio host had been nothing but kind and generous to you, and this warm, fuzzy feeling that bloomed in your chest, starting from your heart and reaching to your feet definitely wasn't caused by the alcohol.
"Wait," your hand snatched his wrist before he could pull away from you, and with a kind, patient gaze, Alastor raised an eyebrow down at you.
"Yes, darling?"
"Could I..." your eyes flickered to Alastor's jacket, and it took a few moments for him to realize what you were implying. With a chuckle, and a steady stream of blush - not just from your copious alcohol intake - across your cheeks, he slipped off his jacket and tucked you into it.
His gaze grew tender as he observed how comfortable, how perfect you looked all snuggled up in his clothes. Hidden away from the world and tucked into his car.
Perhaps these little detours should become more frequent...
"Now, sit tight, my dear, we'll be home in no time," his soft whisper made you shiver in your seat as the car rumbled to life, and the beginning chimes of a soft jazz number began to sooth you to sleep.
Around when you and Alastor were halfway back home, you finally nodded off, completely unaware of how the radio host’s gaze shifted to you more than once, completely willing to crash the car if it meant simply watching you while you slept.
He sighed softly, humming along to the music as his eyes kept to the road for the final stretch of the ride. How could something so... personal to him bloom from an unconventional friendship like this?
Love is unconventional, Rosie’s voice chirped back to him in his head, and he rolled his eyes at his imaginary conversation with the seamstress.
Oh, well. All would be clear in due time, Alastor supposed. He would have the rest of his life with you, wouldn’t he? That should surely be enough to navigate these baffling urges to hold you and keep you, bury his nose in your hair, flicking his tongue against the sensitive nape of your neck as he dig his claws into your hips and-
The guttural rumble of the Loa questioned sharply, but Alastor stifled any seeping doubt as his fists clenched the steering wheel.
He had no time for this. Alastor only wanted to be home with you, tuck you into bed, and do his usual survey of your room, taking any loose articles of clothing or towels, keeping them for his own to inhale and put his wanting lips to until your scent faded from the cloth.
It had become a little hobby of his, simply to satisfy his spiraling yearning for your warmth in his arms.
It couldn't replace you, but it'd have to do.
Alastor's eyes flickered to you one last time as the car slowed in front of the manor, and despite his inner judgment, he carefully reached over and cupped your cheek with his hand, and all his self-deprecation was instantly silenced.
The rest of the world could wait, for now.
He had his precious Doe to put to bed, after all.

I'm not the first person to bring this up but, I do feel that the general response to the gun range scene has mostly failed to acknowledge the context that would call for such extreme levels of self-defense training in the first place. We know from episode 23 that even just a few years after the release of the doodler (when Lark and Sparrow themselves are still just teens) things are already pretty bad (to the extent that in Lark's case the stress of it all has already begun to take a physical toll on him- don't forget that he and Sparrow too were once kids who had the world placed on their shoulders), and one need only look at how quickly the situation with the mayor has degraded to imagine how bad things would have gotten by the time Hero was 12. Training your six-year-old to use a gun in a normal or at least mostly normal world? Batshit crazy. Training your six-year-old to use a gun in a world overrun by an eldritch horror where danger, death, and the possibility of corruption from said eldritch horror are around every corner? Still intense but, much easier to understand the reasoning behind.
oh oops it's a long post woops woops woops
In Sparrow's case in particular, we know that he behaves quite differently under alternative circumstances, and that Normal (Hero too for that matter) lives a pretty different life in a post code purple world:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not that it hasn't been Sparrow's intent and priority to mitigate the extent to which Normal was caught up in everything from the get-go, as evidenced by his namesake. Recall what he had to say on the matter:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In some ways this extreme self-defense training is a "two sides of the same coin" sort of deal vis-a-vis Grant's extreme isolation of Lincoln for his protection, a major difference being that Lincoln still deals with this in a post code purple world (to the extent that he literally had to pretend to starve himself to get his dad to let him go to public school), whereas Normal and Hero get the chance to live mostly normal lives and do as they please (the disapproving words of a drunken and partially-doodlerized Sparrow aside), now removed from the immediate threat of the doodler.
Hero's case is, at least from what we currently know about the prophecy, more complicated than Norm's. It is easy to reprimand Lark and Sparrow as being the worst parents (and/or uncles) whilst forgetting that their circumstances are fundamentally different from the other kiddads. The first half of this lying in their shared responsibility (and guilt) in releasing the doodler. Grant and Nicky can retreat to their respective homes on the basis that this is the best they can do, resolving to put their energy into protecting their closest ones first and foremost. At the end of the day, they aren't really any more responsible for dealing with the doodler than any other bystander. The same cannot be said of Lark and Sparrow, who can't exactly look away from the fact that they were the ones who brought the doodler into the world. At least from their perspectives- of course Lark (and Sparrow by extension) in reality was a child that was manipulated into doing what he did, which as some people have pointed out is not dissimilar to what happened to Normal at the end of this episode (and if Sparrow felt the need to rid Normal of his memories of this event in particular, perhaps it was to spare his child from feeling guilty about it for the rest of his life).
The second half of what differentiates them is, of course, the prophecy (right- now we can actually get to Hero lol). We must remember that, as far as the twins knew, the only way to actually "defeat" the doodler permanently was through the chosen one, i.e. Hero (probably- after last episode I'm starting to think that Norm may be more directly involved in the prophecy than previously thought, but that's a tangent). "Continue to let the being you released into the world kill and torture millions (very likely billions) of people, which could wind up including both of your children, or put your ill-fated child through very intense and ultimately traumatizing training to put an end to it, potentially losing her in the process", is essentially the choice the twins were given. Hero isn't made to kill a deer with her bare hands for the hell of it, she goes through what she does because Lark (who likely did not see the same thing that Normal did on the throne- or at the very least interpreted things very differently) and Sparrow had no reason to believe that there was any other possibility. This certainly does not negate or undermine the extent to which Hero was deeply traumatized by it all, but it's not exactly a detail that you can choose to ignore when discussing the ethics of Lark and Sparrow's decision-making.
And yet, despite it all, Sparrow and Lark do ultimately chose saving their children over saving the world. Not before significant damage has already been done (to Hero that is), but they do decide to go through with the one plan that allows both of their children to (hopefully) live a doodler-free life: code purple. Code purple, which ultimately reduces to a trolley problem with a presumably near-equal number of people on both tracks, with the important difference of sparing their own children in one case, and likely not the other. And if we want to talk about Henry's ethical stance in the matter and how it compares to the twins, we need to consider what it says about him if he was *not* in favor of code purple, with all of this in mind. Not to come to any hasty conclusions about Henry either- I think there remains too many unknowns on that front to assume much and... Ultimately it's a complicated matter! But that's kind of my point.
Even post code purple, Lark and Sparrow (and the rest of the kiddads) try to pursue that which they believe (or at least hope) will both put an end to the doodler without involving their children and without the enactment of the prophecy. Is blowing up an entire world with the sun to save all the others a plan I'm gonna sit here and defend? I don't think so lol, but you can't exactly look at it and pretend that Lark and Sparrow don't care about protecting their fucking kids.
My point isn't that Lark and Sparrow haven't made a lot of mistakes and questionable decisions, my point is that their circumstances are so much less black and white than the majority of the takes I see on them make them out to be, and a lot of the conclusions I see people jump to when it comes to the twins' feelings and intentions strike me as... Pretty odd? Tangentially-related: if you don't think Sparrow is someone who is affectionate with and deeply loves his kids despite his flaws, I don't really think we're listening to the same podcast. But even in Lark's case, yes he's more subtle about it and yes, Lark can be quick to anger (not that I personally read him yelling in the last episode as anger so much as panic but all the same), but affection can be sewing bulletproof material into your nephew's mascot costume, or secretly taking him out for pizza, or pretending to be his dad so that you can tell him you're proud of him, or putting your gun down when he asks you to. The twins are anything but perfect but, fuck if they aren't trying (and changing, and improving). And yes, they deserve some damn nuance.
Also, okay, I couldn't really find a neat way to bring this up in the above but, speaking of no-nuance and bad faith takes, can we talk about the locks? Or lack thereof, rather. "How could they be so stupid as to leave the door unlocked?" you're right, that does seem odd, and Anthony made a point to explain that every other door was very thoroughly locked, and Normal seemed to have practically been moved into opening the door against his own will so... Hear me out, maybe, just maybe, the door usually *is* locked??? And something fishy or unusual is afoot? I also wouldn't take their immediate, knee-jerk reactions to a dangerous flesh monster being released to come to any conclusions on whether or not Lark and Sparrow "blame" six-year-old Normal for it. In Sparrow's case, I struggle to even imagine it. In Lark's case, though I wouldn't put him above getting angry over it, my doubts on his deeper feelings are still high. Conversely, if he actually did place some of the blame on Normal, at the very least there is an interesting discussion to be had on how this relates to Lark's own guilt over what Willy manipulated him into doing, and subsequently being denied the catharsis of punishment. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Like I said, a lot of important things are yet unknown.
*breathes* okay end of overdue ramble [insert proper conclusion paragraph here lol], thank you.

hey hatchet!! hope youre doing okay, could i request some angsty romantic headcanons between ticci toby and a gn!reader? maybe like if they argue about toby's behavior and whatnot
hey there darling! i’m actually doing great, and i hope you are too! i absolutely love the sound of this request, so here we fucking go (disclaimer i am not an expert on his MULTITUDE of conditions, which practically make up his whole person atp)
arguments about Toby’s behavior are not uncommon.
Toby was born with multiple diseases and disorders; though he doesn’t know his own past, you figure that if his parents did even a little less for him, he would be way worse off than he is now. in fact, you’re pretty sure this is as good as it could get.
but oh, there are so many things you simply do not love about this man.
his CIPA (congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis) prevents him from feeling pain, and as such he has not felt pain since he was born. as such, completely lacking the concept of pain and never remembering that others are susceptible to it, he is often a little too rough with you, not just in bed. sometimes, he grabs you just a little too hard, and it gets to you.
you know he is as dense as he seems, but just in case, you hope hard that he never realizes you’re slowly becoming distant from him. you simply can’t do it, not with his roughness and lack of reverence on your body.
and oh, this is just scratching the surface of his behavioral issues.
Toby is also diagnosed with BPD (borderline personality disorder). this is what you consider to be the worst part of his behavioral issues.
you had the misfortune of ending up as his favorite person (though in his defense there are not many others around him so his poor mentally ill brain pretty much has no choice).
you talk to the cashier at 7-11 for a millisecond too long? suddenly as you walk out, Toby is gone from where he was waiting for you and when you look back, the cashier’s gone too. but you know somewhere behind the store, the poor cashier’s blood is being spilled.
and even if you need just a small something from his fellow proxies, they’re not immune either.
though, you have to say, you prefer asking a random person instead.
because even though tim and brian may be punished by Toby, you feel like you are the one being punished the hardest.
he’ll give you the cold shoulder and guilt trip you and manipulate you.
it’s to the point you don’t think you know what a normal relationship feels like anymore. are boyfriends supposed to be loving? or are they supposed to scowl at you, go silent and cold the moment they notice you talking to someone else, even if it’s absolutely necessary?
and so you do the only thing you can do to rebel: argue.
you first start out gently, chiding him when he does something he’s not supposed to do. you correct him and explain to him why it’s wrong.
but you’re not sure if it goes through to him at all. you genuinely cannot tell, between his desperate apologies right after and the blatant repetition of his behavior.
for a while, it’d just been the apologies and repetition. though you disliked it, you soon came to realize that it was better than apologies, repetition and THEN arguments, guilt tripping and manipulation.
“why can’t you just love me for who i am? do you not love me after all? i was right all along. you’re desperate to get rid of me.”
and the truth is, you are.

stupid boy | kim seungmin
one thing you had learnt over the course of your arrangement with seungmin was that he would do anything to please you // 18+, minors dni
words: 3.21k // warnings: fwb to potential lovers, praise, service top!seungmin, dom!reader, spanking, choking, slapping, sucking on fingers, nipple sucking, unprotected sex, reader is referred to as mommy, reader calls seungmin pup/puppy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
seungmin had been pissing you off, and he knew it.
ever since you started screwing around together, you’d both made it clear that it was okay for the other to sleep with other people - you weren’t a couple, you weren’t exclusive, so if the other wanted to sleep with someone else, that was okay.
the only other rules you had were that if you were bringing a partner back to your shared apartment off campus, let the other person know and keep the noise at a respectable level if the other roommate was at home.
worst of all, they were seungmin’s rules and he was the one breaking them to rile you up.
every time he brought a girl home, he would be obnoxiously loud to the point that even earplugs weren’t helping you. every time you brought a guy home, he would be extra annoying - complaining at the noise, complaining that someone was over, or making some lame excuse for them to leave.
“i really did have a headache, (y/n). the pain medication must’ve kicked in just after he left. but- you know, i think i’m starting to get a fever. be a sweetheart and make me some tea, please?”
god, how you wanted to slap him.
unfortunately, he’d enjoy that too much.
the next time you initiated a hookup with seungmin, you truly thought he was aware of the punishment he was about to receive for the way he’d been acting. you were majorly wrong.
you had placed the blue collar he liked wearing while he fucked you out on your bed, along with a sweet pair of baby blue laced panties, before you had left for class. sending him a simple message, informing him of your plans with him when you returned from your lecture.
a small smile graced your features at his response once you were seated in your class. a simple “yes mommy” and he had you ready to ravish him.
this ninety minutes needed to pass fast.
however, back at the apartment, seungmin had other plans. he would never admit it, but he liked riling you up because he knew it would make the sex so much more rewarding. it would be harsher, you’d speak to him like he was worthless and he was obsessed with it. the way you’d slap him and call him a dumb mutt, god, even the thought of it had him hardening in the pretty blue panties you’d so kindly laid out for him.
surely you wouldn’t be mad if he made himself cum a couple of times before you were back, right? he’d (in his opinion) been so good the last few days, and you knew it was hard for him to control himself knowing what was waiting for him upon your return. so maybe, you wouldn’t be upset with him, right?
not that it mattered anyway, he was already leaking, his pre-cum staining the panties so prettily. his body seemed to decide before he could make up his mind, because his hand was trailing down his body, cupping his bulge as he let out a whimper.
with his large hand grasped around the tent in his panties, seungmin felt like he was flying. sure, it was nothing compared to what being inside you felt like, but the scent of you surrounded him and it had his mind spinning.
laying spread across your bed, seungmin threw his head back into your pillow as he palmed himself. he knew he shouldn’t touch without your permission, but it was just too tempting - how was he supposed to control himself?
he couldn’t even bring himself to rid the panties from his body completely, opting to tuck the material under his balls so he was fully on display. the material rubbing against his body gave him an extra wave of adrenaline, wanting nothing more than to be stuffed in your pretty cunt and drooling into your neck.
he spat on his palm, wrapping his slender fingers around his cock, and god he could’ve came on the spot. it had been so long since you touched him, and no one else could compare to the way you made him feel. he stroked himself gently, lip tucked under his teeth as he hissed.
his mind was swirling with images of you - you pinning him to your bed while you sucked him dry, you riding him with his wrists cuffed to your bed frame, you pulling him closer by his collar to kiss him full of drool and lust, you, you, you.
he was enamored, obsessed, utterly under your spell. just the simple thought of you walking through the door to see what a mess you’d made him, had his hips bucking into his hand, whines and pleas falling from, his lips effortlessly.
the movement of his wrist sped up, hurling him towards release faster than he’d ever been before. the scent of you, the images in his mind, the thought of what you’d do to him when he got back - it was all too much. he needed to be inside you more than he needed oxygen, needed to hear you degrade him for being so desperate for your perfect cunt.
with a pathetic whine, curses fell from his drool-slick lips. “hnng, fuck- oh god, mommy, please-!”
warm strings of cum spurted from his cockhead, tip angrily red and he twitched against his palm. that may have been the best orgasm he’d ever given himself. he couldn't even help the way he collected him cum in his fingers, sticking the white-coated digits in his mouth.
nothing could compare to the way you’d make him choke on your finger covered in his cum after he’d made a mess on your tits, but for now this was enough. what was it you’d usually say to him? ‘that’s it, pretty puppy. clean up the mess you made like a good boy, yeah? mommy’s perfect boy.’
even the memory of you forcing your fingers into his throat had him whining around his own digits, cock already hardening again. he was insatiable when it came to you, and he couldn’t bring himself to be apologetic for it. you were just so perfect. an angel sent just for him.
he was so lost in his own fantasies, that he didn’t even hear the front door open. didn’t hear you walking down the hall, kicking off your shoes and throwing down your bag. didn’t hear you come into your bedroom, taking in his fucked out state and the mess he’d made of your bed.
you tutted, pulling him out of his thoughts. “now, puppy. what’s this? couldn’t wait for mommy to come home, no?”
he whined around his fingers, looking up at you doe-eyed as you crossed the room to meet him on your ruined duvet.
“thought you were gonna be a good boy for me, pup,” you sighed, pulling his fingers out of his mouth and stroking his flushed cheek. “wasn’t the thought of mommy’s pussy enough reason to behave?”
he whimpered and shook his head rapidly, the thought of not being able to fuck you making him regret all his actions. you simply watched as tears welled in his eyes and he grasped your wrist, trying to pull you closer to his desperate form.
“no, mommy. wanted to be good- tried really hard! just needed you so, so bad!” he pouted, fingers clinging to your skin. you almost felt bad for him, willing to show some sympathy by pulling him in for a soft kiss.
“you’re still mommy’s good boy, baby. but you know you have to be punished for touching without permission, don’t you?”
you didn’t miss the way his eyes widened - you could be relatively harsh with your punishments, and he was always scared the night would end with his cock stuffed in a cage, unable to cum until you saw fit.
his eyes darted to your bedside table, where you kept your plethora of sex toys, and your suspicions were confirmed. he was such a sensitive puppy, you couldn’t help but coo at him, lovingly.
“not the cage, baby boy. mommy wouldn’t do that to you. now, be honest for you, my beautiful boy, how many times did you cum, hmm?”
“just once mommy, i promise! a-and i cleaned up my mess too!” he whimpered, rubbing his cheek into the palm that was still caressing it.
you cooed again, planting a soft kiss on his forehead. “i know, my pup. mommy still has to give you a spanking though, okay? just ten, and then i’ll let you touch me how you want, yeah?”
while your tone may have seemed condescending, the way seungmin’s eyes glazed over was proof of how much he enjoyed being babied by you. he nodded enthusiastically, learning very quickly into your arrangement that his punishment would be so much easier if he took it like the good boy he was.
you gently stroked his soft, brown hair, sitting on the edge of the bed and gesturing for him to lean over your lap. “that’s my good boy. you’re mommy’s best boy, you know?” you coaxed, rubbing the skin of his ass gently as he settled against your thighs.
he preened at the praise, hips wiggling slightly as if he was wagging his tail. you’d always found it endearing how puppy-like he truly was.
with a gentle whisper of affirmation to him, your hand came down harshly on seungmin’s ass - a red patch outlining your fingers forming almost instantly. but yet, he was a good boy. he took his punishment without complaint, even counting the number of spanks out loud without needing to be ask.
he barely even squirmed or flinched the entire time, making your heart soften. you wholeheartedly adored the way he’d do anything to please you. ten spanks later, and you returned to gently caressing the bruising skin across the expanse of seungmin’s behind.
“my beautiful pup, you took it so well. i’m so, so proud of you, my gorgeous boy.” you cooed, helping him to sit on his knees on the bed next to you. “mommy’s gonna treat you so good now, baby, how do you want me today, hmm?”
you never really let seungmin have clear control over the position you fucked in, so he knew he was in for a treat. and honestly, with how fucked out he was the second you touched him, all intentions of punishing him for his behavior over the past few weeks melted away. you just wanted to care for him and make him feel good.
he took a second to contemplate his options, the expression on his face clearly emphasizing that as you petted his hair softly. his hands were sat upon his thighs, curled up in fists, which you had learned very early was to stop himself from touching you without permission. he always found it hard to keep his hands to himself around you, but he also thrived on having rules in places and the rewards that came from following them as well as he could.
“could you-” he cleared his throat as his voice broke slightly, face flushing a soft hue of red in embarrassment. “i mean, could i fuck you in missionary? wanna watch how good i make you feel please, mommy…”
oh how your heart jumped.
“of course, angel. why don’t you help mommy undress, hmm?”
he scrambled to do so, hands almost tearing the buttons from your shirt in his rush. once your shirt was successfully removed - and no buttons lost - he pulled you onto his lap so he could reach behind you and unclasp your lacy bra. you knew seungmin had an ungodly obsession with your tits, loving the feeling of them pressed against him as he held you close, so you allowed him to indulge for the moment.
once the straps had slipped down your shoulders, you moved back to toss the material across the room and seungmin almost drooled at the sight of the plump flesh. its like his eyes were glued to the way your nipples had hardened, the buds practically inviting him to wrap his lips around them - but that could wait. he needed to be inside you right now.
words lacking him, seungmin’s fingertips grazed your waist and he pouted at you, eyes shining. you took his unspoken ask of you to rid yourself of your skirt and panties, laying on the bed and chuckling at him.
“come on then, puppy, make mommy feel good. you’re so hard, my poor baby, it must be hurting now, hmm? come let mommy’s pussy make it feel better.” you cooed, spreading your legs for him to see how wet you were.
your folds were glistening, and all thoughts left seungmin’s head. its like he was in heat, the only thing he comprehend was that he needed to fuck, needed to cum, needed to make you feel good.
whimpering, he positioned himself on his knees between your legs, grasping his cock and rubbing the tip along as soaked folds. you held back your gasp at the contact - you didn’t want to overexcited seungmin and take this moment of bliss away from him. if he caught wind of how much he affected you, he’d put your pleasure solely above his right now, and you wanted him to indulge himself with a little of the control he so easily gave up to you.
you hooked your ankles over his calves, practically caging him in position and encouraging him to finally enter you - which he gladly did. and it felt delicious. while seungmin wasn’t exactly the girthiest you’d ever taken, he definitely made up for it in length. and the curve of his cock allowed him to reach your most sensitive spots almost instantly.
you both let out a moan as he finally bottomed out inside you, and you swore you’d never felt so full. the way seungmin’s cock fit inside you would never be something you got used to. you could practically feel every throb, every vein. it was heavenly.
you allowed seungmin to take a moment to compose himself - he had been known to cum as soon as he entered you on numerous occasions - before he started shallowly thrusting into you. almost instantly he threw his head into the crook of your neck, whining and whimpering like the overwhelmed puppy he was.
“that’s my good boy,” you groaned, finding a fistful of his hair and whispering sweet nothings into his ear. “feels better, right? fit so perfectly inside me.”
his hips stuttered at your praise, but he quickly found his rhythm again, gaining more speed and confidence as your legs tightened around him. he knew it was only a matter of time before he’d have to fight off an impending orgasm, and he was determined to make you finish before he released inside of you.
his hand that wasn’t holding him up snaked down between your bodies, leaving delicate caresses over your clit, causing you to tense and clench around seungmin’s length. your back arched off the bed, the rush of pleasure from his nimble fingers hiring you closer to your release - although nothing could make you more aroused than the fucked out look on seungmin’s face as he pouted down at you, desperate to see you cum.
“what do you need, baby? wanna suck on mommy’s fingers? C’mon, pup, tell me.” you whined, wanting nothing more than to give him the level of stimulation he was currently providing you.
he glanced down at your hands, contemplating, before his words let his mouth in a fucked out pant.
“throat, please. wanna feel you choke me, mommy, please.”
and what else could you do but comply?
the second you reached up and wrapped your hand around seungkin’s delicious throat, he let out a sound that could only be described as a howl, before he began fucking you with much more enthusiasm and vigor than before.
his fingers sped up on your clit, eyes screwed shut as he tried to keep the warm forming in his abdomen at bay. he couldn’t cum before you, he just couldn’t. he’d feel like he’d let you down, that he hadn’t done his job properly, so he refused.
halting the movement of his hips, he added extra pressure to your clit and leant down, wrapping his soft lips around one of your nipples. nipping with his teeth, sucking the delicate skin like a man starved. it was the most attractive thing you’d ever seen.
you tugged on his hair, pants and gasps leaving your lips in fast pace, coil tightening in your abdomen faster than ever before.
“seung- oh, fuck me, pup, please. c’mon baby boy, move for me. wanna feel you cum inside me, yeah? need you to fuck mommy full, please angel.”
he could never deny such a request, moving his hips slowly as to not lose his placement on your chest. switching to the other nipple, he moaned against you, the vibration giving you a stimulation you didn’t know could affect you so much.
“so close, angel boy, go a bit faster for mommy, yeah? let me watch you fall apart, wanna see that pretty face.”
reluctantly pulling his mouth away from you, he opted to lean his forehead against yours, speeding his movements again as you both sped towards your release. even still, his fingers on your bundle of nerves didn’t relent, and your hands found their way back to his hair.
as you clenched harder on him, his hips faltered, losing his pace as he teetered towards the edge. you moved a hand to grip his face, squishing his cheeks together and forcing him to look you in the eyes.
“look at mommy while you cum, yeah? such a gorgeous sight for me.”
he whined again, drool pooling around the edges of his mouth and threatening to fall out, and his words came out slurred.
“pretty mommy, look so pretty when you cum for puppy. my mommy.”
the praise had your eyes nearly rolling to the back of your head, seungmin had never been particularly talkative during sex and his words almost ruined you for anyone else.
with a light pinch on your clit, seungmin had you free-falling over the edge, cumming harder than anyone had ever made you before. the tightening of your core squeezed him just right to have him cum in time with you, and it was almost cute how well it was timed.
he fought to keep his eyes open like you asked, arms shaking under him as he tried not to collapse on you in his pleasure. you, on the other hand, had a hard time letting him pull out after you both rode out your highs, almost crying out as you felt his length leave you.
he flopped on the bed next to you, hair bouncing adorably as he curled into your side.
“see, why would you sleep with anyone else when i can fuck you like that?” he mumbled, rubbing his face against the arm he cradled so delicately.
you chuckled through your tired pants, caressing his hair as you looked over at him with a smile.
“you’re right. don’t need anyone else when i’ve got you, do i?”

Requested: Fic request: WereDaryl and Glen find a she wolf (in human form) out and talk to her about coming to the prison. She and Daryl are mates
🐺 🐺 🐺
A freshly skinned and eaten deer carcass let the two men know this house had recent visitors.
"Fuck.." Glenn's voice dragged on as he slumped through the hallway back where the archer who accompanied him was fishing some painkillers out of the deepest end of a cabinet.
"Whatcha whinin' about this time? Forget ta give yer wife a goodbye kiss?" Daryl's face held a teasing grin as he stood up and showed off his finds.
"Nope. But now I'm seriously confused because there's a neatly taken apart deer in the kitchen, but also still unfound painkillers here?"
Daryl stalked past his companion and into the kitchen, inspecting the leftovers noticing none of it had even slightly dried out and the person who carved it couldn't be far away. "Ya check the area, Imma head upstairs."
Your hiding space upstairs was probably the worst idea you ever had. Hidden away in the bathtub, praying the wolf downstairs wouldn't sniff you out. There were two people on your trail. One was human, it was faintly there underneath a heavy cloak of the dead. The only reason you knew these weren't dead was because you heard them talking.
Now, the other one was the one you were terrified of. You praised your late father for teaching you to hide your scent and appear human to even the most skilled of hunters.
The wolf that stalked around the lower floor had no intention of hiding his identity. If there was any other creature around they were gonna know what he was which meant he was strong. Weaklings hid while the strong ones paraded around their might.
And in all honesty it was working for him. His scent was ...Oh no, no no not gonna get attracted to the first male wolf you met since the world went to shit.
You kept yourself hidden for as long as possible, which wasn't long at all as the shower curtain was torn down and the creature revealed itself.
You raised your hands in defeat but couldn't help to give him a once over from the gorgeous blue eyes behind messy brown locks to the dirt covered muscles and the crossbow currently pointed at your head.
"I travel alone. I don't want trouble."
Luckily Daryl didn't want trouble either.
He also knew you weren't lying. There was no scent of any other people on you, he made sure to double check. And then triple check, and one more time for good measure. He couldn't help it, you smelled so damn good.
“Can take ya home with us.” The words came without a second thought, same with you accepting his offer.
When Glenn came back from his quick area check he was shocked to see Daryl with a random woman, seeming to be friendlier that he had been with anyone in a long while. He found it strange, but was happy to see the other survivor they stumbled upon wasn’t a threat.
“She coming with us?” Glenn asked question after question before a round of introductions was done and you all went on your way back to the prison.
After you went through your introduction again with the leader of the group and then a couple more times with other people who came to say hi to you.
“Daryl,” carol came up to the archer when he returned from checking the fence. “Why did you bring the girl here?” She glanced at the prison entrance where you were getting rid of piled up walkers.
Daryl gave her a look like he had no clue what she was talking about, looking your way as he talked.
"Wouldn't ya have taken her in? Was all alone 'n Glenn agreed." He turned his attention back to his best friend who was way too nosey for her own good. "Why're ya askin' anyways? She do somethin'?"
Carol only laughed at the horrible way Daryl was hiding his truths.
"Oh, Pookie.." She placed a hand on his shoulder in comfort. "If you were showing your tail it'd be wagging like a little puppy staring at a plate of ribs."
Daryl scoffed and looked down, the skin of his thumb chewed to shreds already. "She also turned down my cookies, saying she's allergic to chocolate and I'm pretty sure I saw her snack on raw leftover meat yesterday." Her smirk was clearly one of having caught her friend's true intentions. "Sounds pretty familiar, huh doggie?"
Daryl only answered in grumbles as Carol smacked his arm. "You have a crush on her. You found a lady wolf and you're head over heels but too scared to admit it." Her voice went quiet at the last bit, not wanting to draw attention to Daryl's love struggles.
Daryl just kept quiet, letting her words sink in and weigh his options. He had to be honest and admit he had no idea why his wolf tried to tear out of his skin every time he got close to her, howling like crazy and making it barely possible to focus on anything.
"Want me to talk to her? I might be able to carefully let her know we're all okay with non-humans." Truly she was curious about what you thought about Daryl.
Before Daryl could even think up an answer Carol had decided to go relieve Maggie of corpse duty and have a chat with you. "I'll report back later, see ya Pookie." She winked at him on her way down the field as Daryl could only stand and watch, knowing not even he could change her mind.
"Hey Maggie!" Carol's voice reached the girls easily. "Hershel was looking for you, I'll take over so you can go see what he needs."
Maggie thanked her for coming to fetch her and said waved you goodbye as she walked off and Carol took her place.
"You lie." A simple statement made it clear you weren't in the mood. "I heard you and Daryl talk. And it's not what you think it is. He doesn't have a crush on me." You hauled another corpse onto the burn pile as you went on with your talk as Carol was only getting more confused now. "I went with him because we're supposed to be together. I thought that's why he asked me to come here but he hasn't made a move yet so I kept my distance as well.” There was a clear sadness in your eyes now as you looked back up at Carol. “I guess his family never taught him the signs of meeting your mate..” carol knew that word, maybe not entirely in the right context, but she got the general idea.
“Sweetie, Daryl knows nothing about relationships, human or werewolf. He got bitten and didn’t have anyone to teach him anything.”
This time it was your turn to be confused. Daryl was a bitten wolf? You were always under the assumption they were weaker and lesser than born, pureblood werewolves like you but then again, you had never met one before since your parents were very strict about who they let into their pack.
A laugh left your lips once you realized you had been an idiot all this time. Your mate who you were so desperately waiting for to make a move, didn’t even know he was supposed to. All those nights of your wolf making you dream up these scenes of you finally presenting yourself to him so you could be be mated properly.
“Well, why don’t you do that then, if Daryl doesn’t know how to make the first move.” Her voice made you quite literally jump up in surprise. Did you say all of that out loud? “Did I say all of that out loud?” Carol nodded and you begged for the ground to open up and swallow you whole. Your face turning beet red as you stammered out a response. “I.. It’s not something you do when others are around..” Fidgeting with the handle of your knife you still couldn’t believe you mentioned that to a human. “It’s.. Intimate. Something for after you’ve, I don’t know the human terms. We meet, learn we are mates and then after properly introducing our packs we …mate.” You look at her, hoping you made at least some kind of sense. “So when you say you mate, you mean you two have sex, right? As the last bit of your relationship ritual?” A bright smile makes its way onto your face and you nod, letting her know she got it right.
“Is Daryl still around? You can smell him if he is, right?” You nodded again, pointing towards the closest wall that surrounded the outside kitchen area. “He’s probably trying to listen in on us. Why?” Carol was one with plans for everything. On the spot she’d come up with solutions or tryouts for any issue you found yourself having. She just smiled and turned around before taking a deep breath and called out for the archer to come over, stating she needed help with heavy lifting.
Reluctantly Daryl made his way over to the two women at the far end of the field. “Ya don’t need help, so what’s it?” He looked between the two of you.
“I’m sorry for staying away from you and making you think I disliked you.. I really didn’t mean to.” Daryl didn’t understand where the current confession came from, but Carol must have set you up to this. “I really want to talk in private, if that’s okay with you.”
A hesitant nod came before he responded with a soft ‘yeah’.
Carol took this as her cue to leave and make sure no one would bother you here at the fence for a while. “Go talk, lovebirds.”
“Do you know what mates are, Daryl?” You sounded so childish and you hated it, feeling like you had to teach the pups in your pack about the whole ordeal, but instead of pups it was your adult mate who never learned from another wolf. “S’what mah head’s been howlin’ at me every time yer near me. Makes me wanna claim ya.”
You cover your mouth as a laugh spills from your lips before you get a chance to stop it, but nodding as well. “Yeah okay that’s a healthy response.” You took a step closer to him and took his hand, looking him in the eyes. “I want you to.. Claim me, as you say.” You bit your lip and blushed like a little girl, feeling so weird to be making the first move. You noticed him sniffing around as soon as you had stepped closer to him and found the action to be adorable. He was absolutely clueless to a point where you had to spell everything out for him. Yes he was an almost perfect hunter and possibly the most terrifying werewolf you’d ever met in terms of strength and might, but he knew nothing about the rest of his instincts. “Can’t get enough of my scent, huh?” Your soft voice sent shivers down his spine. Your hand reached up to pull his face into the crook of your neck. He took a long whiff and growled against your skin. “Why?” He asked against your skin as he kept his face buried in your neck.
“Because it’s how we find our mates. You know,” You pull away from him to look him in the eyes once again. “Our partners for life. The ones we have puppies with?”
He could only blink down at you. How had you so casually spoken the one thing out loud that had been haunting his filthiest dreams ever since he found you.
Your mouth hung open in awe as you realized what his frozen response implied. It also didn’t help he suddenly reeked of arousal at your last words.
“I’ll teach you all there is to know about being mates, yeah? Puppies is the last step. Giving me a kiss right now is the first.” You leaned back up as you talked sweetly at him.
“Ya really want this? With me?” The insecurity in his voice was so sad to you, you had to resist the urge to jump his bones right there. You were going to take this slow so he could learn and one day teach his sons how to properly court a lady.
“I want this with you, Daryl. Only you. No one else.” You nudged his cheek with your nose, returning his sweet gesture of taking in his scent and growling softly before pressing your lips against his jaw.
A smile pulled at his lips and he pulled you flush against him so he could kiss you properly, his wolf howling in celebration as yours did the same now that your mate was finally yours.
He may still had to learn a lot, but you were willing to teach him everything you knew.
