Trying to remember an axolotl thought I had a while back. I don't love the idea of the dichotomy between them and Bill Cipher being just "good vs evil." I think they're "peace vs chaos". Rest vs action. Stagnation vs change. Mountain vs river. The axolotl isn't trying to fix everything it is just having a nice time in its lil corner of the multiverse, and its chill energy benefits those who happen to stumble across its path. It just wants to do its own thing 99% of the time, but since Bill is so committed to influencing everything and everyone all the time, he managed to even catch the attention of someone whose attention is very rarely caught. So Bill has influenced the axolotl to play a tiny bit of an active role in the fate of the universe, and in exchange, the axolotl has influenced Bill with the hope that Bill will calm down one percent and maybe even find some peace.

I Just Don’t Understand...

Why it’s so hard for people to design a cute cow plush.

It’s got the eyes of a predator animal (close together, forward facing), and the muzzle is so small and un-cowlike.

I know it’s pretty obvious that this is just a bear base that they’ve added cow features to, but if you’re gonna make a cow, then make a cow. I feel so threatened by this thing.

How do I explain the ways in which the bill origins fic 'A Romance of Many Dimensions' by haley3 rewired my brain without needing to give paragraphs upon paragraphs of context. The fic is something like 200,000 words long. Almost every single good moment calls back to things that are set up earlier in the fic
