And despite having little to no chance of ever defeating Mewtwo, Cinderace kept trying for Goh because he loves him that much. 🤧🥺

Kamski’s Villa: Behind the Door
MKAY Y’ALL
Ever wonder what was behind the door the Chloe comes out of to give Kamski his robe?
Tumblr media
Yeah, that’s right. This door. Straight ahead.
Tumblr media
Here it is again from the back.
But wait—the back, you say, nock-and-bolt?
Yes, the back, I say.
Because with the glorious power of freecam and the gift of a friend with the game on PC, we can finally see what’s behind the door. And just like Carl’s bathroom, holy RA9 there’s actually so much they coded into it—
Tumblr media
Like, I’m actually so impressed?
Tumblr media
Here’s another angle on it. If you’ve seen a—ah, certain ending, you actually do in fact get a short, dimly lit glimpse of it. But now we know where exactly this room is located in his mansion, and we can see all of it with better lighting.
We can also explore it in greater detail mehehe, and there are two main things of note I want to highlight. The first of which being...
Tumblr media
The Newscast: Androids to be Detained
Military centers erected to recycle androids | Centers erected in L.A., Chicago, Houston, Detroit, and elsewhere | White House est...
Which, in all truth, is probably just coded to be there for that ending where this room appears, but you could certainly make some fascinating headcanons as to why this might be on Kamski’s projector now, before the Freedom March, before any peaceful demonstration or violent revolution. After all, as former CEO of CyberLife, Kamski would’ve been the boss of Philip Seymour, Director of Futurology at the company.
Tumblr media
If you don’t remember from this in-game article, Seymour and his team developed a quantum supercomputer specifically designed to analyze massive amounts of data and generate predictions. And I think it’d be fascinating indeed if Kamski was checking out possible futures for his little revolution, calculating the odds, playing God and looking to see which of the many potentialities might be the one to take place in real time.
There’s also something to be said about a certain cat and a certain man named Schrödinger. 😜Man, imagine if there were different newscasts playing in the room every time you played the game. After all, our characters could be considered “both alive and dead until they interact with or are observed by the external world” (i.e. until the game is played to completion). In which case RIP for me looking into this room when this particular newscast was playing. 😂
But enough philosophy for the moment! If you scroll back up to that newscast pic, you’ll see that there’s still yet more of the room to be explored beyond those first wide-shots I initially provided.
And this, personally speaking, is my favorite part of the whole room:
Tumblr media
BEHIND THE NEWSCAST SCREEN BEHIND THE DOOR,
KAMSKI’S GOT CELLOS.
HELLO.
Tumblr media
Based on the funky stands, however, they’re probably not actual cellos so much as ✨art✨ but the amount that I flipped out when I saw this because I love instruments. Like—
Tumblr media
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the incredible detail of scuff marks, scratches, reflections, and what have you on a hidden object in a hidden room that never appears anywhere actually on screen in-game but was nevertheless coded to beauteous acuity?

Is Loki a good person?
Hello nonny! For all intents and purposes, I would say, yes, Loki is a good person. As you can read in this post by @lokistan, Loki has done a number of selfless things. I’ve put some of my thoughts in my reblog of that post, too, if you want to check it out.
Really, what I think it all boils down to, is Loki is a good person who has done some questionable and (depending on how you frame it) bad things. Namely, I’d say his attempted genocide of the Jötunn is arguably the worst thing he’s done. And beside the very idea of it being wrong, I would say this is the worst because it is when he had the most control of his will.
Now, notre i said the “most” control, not full. Sure, it could be seen as full, but that gets into a bit more of a gray area. What is full control of the will? I have never taken an ethics class, but we are covering morals in my theology class (the topic is called “moral theology” however, so this is largely subjective as it is based on religion. Then again, I think it could be argued all moral philosophy is somewhat subjective, but I digress). My point in bringing this up is that, according to this class, full intent of the will is affected by things like peer pressure. In other words, if you feel pressure to do something because everyone else around you is, and you want to fit in, that is not full intent of the will.
Now, let’s look at Asgard. Based on what we’ve seen, Asgard is first and foremost a warrior society. The kingdom was built on bloodshed and violence. Not to mention prejudice, especially against frost giants. From a young age, Thor was saying he wanted to destroy all Jötunns. Heck, when he goes to Jötunheim, Thor invites his father to help him finish off the frost giants. Odin declines and they go back to Asgard where he promptly gives his son a scolding, banishing Thor to Midgard. It’s only on Midgard, after being given a whole movie, that Thor changes his tune.
So what about Loki?
What I personally have pinpointed as his worst action happened in the first movie he appeared in, one of the ones where he was admittedly acting as a villain or an antagonist. (Again, I say “acting as” because a character opposing a hero or protagonist doesn’t immediately make everything black and white to be able to go “oh, then they’re a bad person.”) This action, the attempted genocide of the frost giants—which he actually is, by the way, but that’s opening a whole other can of worms—can be seen as a decision prompted by outside influences, such as culture and family. Before this, he’s never done anything undoubtedly evil. Perhaps one or two things that are questionable, but upon closer inspection, I would say not bad/his fault. And after? His will and mind are not his own in Avengers 1, and how can you (fully) fault someone for doing something they didn’t have control over? Then from TDW through IW he doesn’t doing anything bad. Maybe it’s a little frustrating he took the Tesseract, prompting the battle with Thanos (again, a whole other can of worms. Besides, Thanos probably would have attacked them anyway if he came across the ship). In Endgame, he only appears as 2012 Loki, the one from Avengers. He’s free of the mind control at this point, but is escaping imprisonment from something he didn’t have control over really a bad or evil thing? Again, I’d say no.
So, to conclude, Loki has done at least a few morally questionable things in his life, just like anyone would. The attempted genocide of the frost giants, which is what I consider the worst things he’s done, was heavily influenced by the environment he was raised in and prejudice he was exposed to. Thor threatened the same thing, but we cannot have a double standard just because he did not get as close to the actual action. Thor was given the chance to redeem himself, and is now viewed as a good guy. Loki, just like his brother, showed that he was better than that one action, and for the sake of the argument and lack of better words, redeemed himself. It only stands to reason that he is a good guy too.

Vincenzo, Episode 15
""Since you were the one to purchase it, you would be the one to give it to your mother." "No, thanks. You should-- "What?" "Why are you so surprised? Just give it to your mother." "Was it your father who told you?" "No. Dad never told confidential information to his daughter." "Then how did you find out?" "You paid for all of her bills, avenge her by getting back at Shinkwang Bank even though you don't like to do it, know the same difference between the red bean fish pastries...anyone would know that you were Oh Kyung Ja's son." "I...hate to get involved into any other family's business, but I'll be nosy for once. "How about telling her right away? That you're her son? "She really doesn't have much time left. For your mother, a day isn't just a day. "You told me once--regret is one of life's greatest hells. "Those words were true. I'd like it if you didn't live in that same hell."
I love this conversation between Vincenzo and Cha Young, one of the few serious ones they have outside of defeating Babel. The drama doesn't treat Vincenzo being Oh Kyung Ja's son as some big secret, and Cha Young doesn't have a dramatic reaction after she finds out. Much like her accepting his violent past, she also does with his parentage, and that shows her true character.
She doesn't try to judge or tries to persuade Vincenzo to do anything, far from it. She gives him advice from a daughter who's lost a father and has regrets after his death, and wishes that Vincenzo would not suffer the same fate.

Putting my years of experience in ICT to use by creating detailed databases of all the companions in the Baldur's Gate series (1 and 2 only, will add BG3 once I play it after it's fully released*) and their stats, interactions with each other, possible party compositions depending on Charname's class, alignment, lore/RP potential, willingness to swap party members throughout the game, and more.
(*I'm bearing in mind that they might change stuff between now and the full release, and also I haven't played the demo yet because I'm saving myself for the full thing and also I don't have a good charname for the game. I'm thinking gith, for the lore potential, or tiefling because they're neat.)
