you mumbled, your legs on either side of him. the two of you sat in your cabin, the fact that your siblings aren’t around is a miracle. a miracle you two take advantage of.

luke looked up at you, a look of admiration written all over his face. his expression was softened, his lips slightly parted as his eyes seemed to slowly taken in every part of you like you were gonna disappear.

luke’s grip on your hips tightened ever so slightly. he hummed quietly before kissing your forehead.

luke always thought you were pretty, how you got even prettier up close is a mystery not even the gods above can figure out.

“you’re prettier than i’ll ever be.”

“yeah?”

you ask, cupping his cheek gently. you always admired his scar, a permanent medal of glory is what you thought of it as. as lightly as possible, you traced said scar with your thumb.

luke felt his face get hot and his mind go blank for a second. he watched as your eyes shifted away from his and toward your hand and his scar. as much as he wanted to do the same—luke couldn’t bring himself to not look at you.

you stared at him with the type of admiration he could only dream of, like he was the only boy in the world. luke couldn’t imagine a life where someone like you loved him the same way he loved you.

it’s mind blowing that it happened to him in this lifetime and not some other one. fate was a wonderful thing, thank the moirai for this.

luke put his hand over the one that was tracing his scar, bringing your hand down slightly. he turned his head just enough to gently kiss the palm of your hand. planting one, two, and three kisses in the same spot repeatedly.

“yeah. the prettiest.”
