Why is ranking friends, relationships even a thing? Why are there literal names that exist due to hierarchies? Why do you have to name and put a specific label on the person you’re the closest to and always prioritize them? Why? /rh You know, you feel it, you know you’re the closest to this person already, so why put that into words and put it into a hierarchy? Your best friend isn’t more important than anyone else. Where is equality in this? /rh Everyone’s worth is equal. /srs Why do you “have” to tell people that you view someone else as more important than them and that you love someone else more? /rh Why? /rh It hurts. GOD STANDS UP FOR THE OPPRESSED- YES, EVEN YOU!

Take a step back and ignore everything you know about modern Christianity. The oppression that modern Christians have put on queer people, people with disabilities, POC, EVERYONE who has been stomped on and made fun of by white Protestant Christians. Here’s some verses from one of the least books read by white Protestant Christians, AMOS-

11- “You levy a straw tax on the poor and impose a tax on their grain. Therefore, though you have built stone mansions, you will not live in them; though you have planted lush vineyards, you will not drink their wine.

12 For I know how many are your offenses and how great your sins. There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts.”

God is speaking here and talking about His own people- the Israelites! A few verses ago, He said how much they brag about their riches and offerings- and how He would burn down their mansions for oppressing the poor and disrespecting the oppressed! Sound familiar?

“Burn leavened bread as a thank offering and brag about your freewill offerings— boast about them, you Israelites, for this is what you love to do,” declares the Sovereign LORD.”

“I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses adorned with ivory will be destroyed and the mansions will be demolished,” declares the LORD.”

And guess what? GOD followed through! He sure enacted justice on the legalistic and oppression-filled legal system of Israel by bringing them back to their roots- leaving them in the wilderness to fend for themselves.

And He plans to again… and does every day. It’s no wonder random extremely rich people go missing, get arrested, somehow vanish…

IGNORE EVERYTHING you know about Christianity. It has been whitewashed and turned EXACTLY into what God despises.

We must return to our roots and realize the truth. God loves us all. He stands up for us all. He loves every queer person, every minority, everyone, despite what the white racist transphobe tells you at church. Every person in the senate oppressing us will pay with justice. They pay for their oppression every day.

Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.

I love it when white, skinny, straight people try to debate on what constitutes as racism, fatphobia, and homophobia, even though they have zero experience with ANY of that shit.

This is abt someone in my personal life telling me that fatphobia, racism, and homophobia are stupid words, because “it’s all just opinions and statements.” And, “there are good and bad people of any community.”

Call a black person the n word and you’ll get labeled as a racist.

Call a gay person the f slur and you’ll get labeled as homophobic.

Call someone who’s plus sized fat as an insult and you’ll get labeled as fatphobic.

That is a natural consequence of your words, and they are well deserved ones.

Genuinely speak to someone who is POC, gay, fat, or all of the above, and try to tell them that NONE OF THOSE THINGS exist. I promise you they’ll have SEVERAL things to say.

It genuinely disgusts me that some people actually believe this shit despite POC, and gay folks lengthy history with prejudice, and the constant fatphobia that’s prevalent in society today.

Most people had/have an ED because they want to look skinnier.

Skin bleaching products exist because people want to look paler than they are.

Gay people have to hide their sexualities all because of the violence and stigma that surrounds being queer.

And try to tell me none of those things aren’t blatant forms of racism, homophobia, and fatphobia.

All of these things stem from hatred, bigotry, and violence. Take one good look at a celebs twit/instagram page, (esp if they are fat, poc, and/or gay) and count the number of insulting comments you see. Then come back to me, and try to convince me none of those things exist because it’s all just, “opinions,” and “words.”

Words can hurt people, words have KILLED people. One of the leading causes of suicide is bullying, primarily that of verbal bullying. Do you know how bad that shit gets for someone who is marginalized and oppressed?

Some of my favorite creators have committed because of the unnecessary hate they received. Take a look at those creators, and try to tell me words don’t fucking hurt.

Take one good look at the suicide rate for youth who have stigma against them, and try to tell me it’s not because they were oppressed.

It genuinely sickens me that people don’t recognize the amount of pain some go through, simply because they are not of that group. I’m white, but i am queer and fat, i have no standing on racism because im not oppressed in that way. I have never been oppressed in that way.

What i do have, however, is standing on what constitutes as fatphobia and homophobia. And I genuinely believe that thinking neither of those things exist because of it being “just opinions,” are indeed homophobic and fatphobic.

If you disagree, you are part of the problem. Please, for the love of god, do your research.

“Picking” a favorite is essentially telling people to rank things based on how much they think about them positively or love them. But you can’t quantify love, you can’t calculate love. Making people pick “favorites” is at the end of the day, attaching the person to those favorites and ignoring all the rest. It’s also implying that only the “favorite” thing matters and they can only share the “favorite” thing when that’s not the case. Also, it’s impossible to love two things the same way or “equally”, because you can’t quantify love and ranking love is putting it in a hierarchy which all hierarchies are bad and how can you love two things that provide different feelings, desires, emotions, thoughts and energies the same? It’s just impossible, the same way it’s impossible to love someone the same their whole lives, because things happen, feelings happen, people change, you change, the relationship changes throughout time, it’s a natural process.

Back to the hierarchies, picking favorites and ranking favorites is placing them in a hierarchy, it’s placing their worth, their importance, their value and how much they matter in a hierarchy. It’s ignoring all the complexities of life, humans and love and the multi-dimensionality of you and others. It’s reducing people to their “favorites” and interests.

I don’t like being told to pick favorites, because I don’t have a favorite ever. My identity and who I am doesn’t revolve around nor only consist of those “favorites”. I’m more than my “favorites”, I like and love so many more things than the “favorites”. “Favorites” is essentially forcing people into a one dimensional mold and ignoring the rest of who they are, but also telling them to do the same. You are more than your “favorites”, you are so much more. You like so much more than your “favorites” and that’s okay, you don’t have to pick and choose “favorites” and only focus on them, that’s unrealistic and unfair to you, because there is so much more to you than “favorites”, you like and love so much more than those “favorites”, you cannot be reduced to “favorites” nor words (eg: personality traits).
