#i'm gonna talk about farha this time#she's not from tamriel. she is from another dimension/universe entirely#her skyrim arc is an extension of an original storyline that i have for her. it's complicated but i will do my best to explain#okay. farha is an android#she was created in another universe alongside hundreds of others to act as like. soulbound guardians of individual pocket dimensions#called realms for brevity#skyrim is one of these pocket dimensions. so is every other game you've ever played#they are commercialized as immersive vr experiences for unsuspecting consumers who are under the impression that it's all a simulation#so they often cause damage just for fun. that's what guardians are for#the corporation that created them all has untold wealth and technology#operating their main headquarters underground with full protection from the government#anyway#one of farha's very close friends is caught and exiled for falling in love with a human#farha was unsatisfied with the answers she was given and against another friend's wise advice went after classified documents in the archive#now this headquarters is essentially a maze of hallways lined with portals called gates. they lead into different realms#guardians are told that it is impossible to enter a gate that is not their own. that's a lie#farha is caught trespassing/stealing and is chased by security guards. she loses them momentarily in the maze#and makes a split second decision to risk it all and try to run through a random gate#and it works. she wakes up in the cart on the way to helgen. on her way to be prosecuted for crossing the border#though not the border we usually think of.#farha as a person is extremely sweet and kind. she has a clear set of morals and believes firmly in protecting and respecting the land#she is able to make plants grow due to her home realm being very similar and requiring her to be able to do so#she also has fire magic#which before she came to skyrim#she only ever used to light the fireplace. she hates fighting#though she will do it to protect herself#she settles in whiterun and becomes quite skilled as an alchemist#the mechanism for her being dragonborn is a bit different since she wasn't ''born''#rather there was no dragonborn until farha jumped through the gate#at which point i suppose the gods were like ''okay that one''

• Warsaw Uprising
The Warsaw Uprising was a major World War II operation, in 1944, by the Polish underground resistance, led by the Polish resistance Home Army (Polish: Armia Krajowa), to liberate Warsaw from German occupation. The Uprising was fought for 63 days with little outside support. It was the single largest military effort taken by any European resistance movement during World War II.
In 1944, Poland had been occupied by Nazi Germany for almost five years. The Polish Home Army planned some form of rebellion against German forces. Germany was fighting a coalition of Allied powers, led by the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. The initial plan of the Home Army was to link up with the invading forces of the Western Allies as they liberated Europe from the Nazis. However, when the Soviet Army began its offensive in 1943, it became clear that Poland would be liberated by it instead of the Western Allies. The Soviets and the Poles had a common enemy in Germany but were working towards different post-war goals: the Home Army desired a pro-Western, capitalist Poland, but the Soviet leader Stalin intended to establish a pro-Soviet, socialist Poland. It became obvious that the advancing Soviet Red Army might not come to Poland as an ally but rather only as "the ally of an ally". The Soviets and the Poles distrusted each other and Soviet partisans in Poland often clashed with a Polish resistance increasingly united under the Home Army's front. On October 20th, the Polish government-in-exile issued instructions to the effect that, if diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union were not resumed before the Soviet entry into Poland, Home Army forces were to remain underground pending further decisions. However, the Home Army commander, Tadeusz Bór-Komorowski, took a different approach, and on November 20th, he outlined his own plan, which became known as Operation Tempest. On the approach of the Eastern Front, local units of the Home Army were to harass the German Wehrmacht in the rear and co-operate with incoming Soviet units as much as possible. Although doubts existed about the military necessity of a major uprising, planning continued. General Bór-Komorowski and his civilian advisor were authorised by the government in exile to proclaim a general uprising whenever they saw fit.
The situation came to a head on July 13th, 1944 as the Soviet offensive crossed the old Polish border. At this point the Poles had to make a decision: either initiate the uprising in the current difficult political situation and risk a lack of Soviet support, or fail to rebel and face Soviet propaganda describing the Home Army as impotent or worse, Nazi collaborators. The urgency for a final decision on strategy increased as it became clear that, after successful Polish-Soviet co-operation in the liberation of Polish territory, Soviet security forces behind the frontline shot or arrested Polish officers and forcibly conscripted lower ranks into the Soviet-controlled forces. On July 21st, the High Command of the Home Army decided that the time to launch Operation Tempest in Warsaw was imminent. The plan was intended both as a political manifestation of Polish sovereignty and as a direct operation against the German occupiers. On July 25th, the Polish government-in-exile (without the knowledge and against the wishes of Polish Commander-in-Chief General Kazimierz Sosnkowski) approved the plan for an uprising in Warsaw with the timing to be decided locally. In the early summer of 1944, German plans required Warsaw to serve as the defensive centre of the area and to be held at all costs. The Germans had fortifications constructed and built up their forces in the area. This process slowed after the failed July 20th plot to assassinate the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, and around that time, the Germans in Warsaw were weak and visibly demoralized. However, by the end of July, German forces in the area were reinforced.
On July 27th, the Governor of the Warsaw District, Ludwig Fischer, called for 100,000 Polish men and women to report for work as part of a plan which envisaged the Poles constructing fortifications around the city. The inhabitants of Warsaw ignored his demand, and the Home Army command became worried about possible reprisals or mass round-ups, which would disable their ability to mobilize. The Soviet forces were approaching Warsaw, and Soviet-controlled radio stations called for the Polish people to rise in arms. On July 29th, the first Soviet armoured units reached the outskirts of Warsaw, where they were counter-attacked by two German Panzer Corps. Believing that the time for action had arrived, on July 31st, the Polish commanders General Bór-Komorowski and Colonel Antoni Chruściel ordered full mobilization of the forces the following day. The Home Army forces of the Warsaw District numbered between 20,000, and 49,000 soldiers. Other underground formations also contributed; estimates range from 2,000 in total, to about 3,500 men including those from the National Armed Forces and the communist People's Army. Most of them had trained for several years in partisan and urban guerrilla warfare, but lacked experience in prolonged daylight fighting. The forces lacked equipment, because the Home Army had shuttled weapons to the east of the country before the decision to include Warsaw in Operation Tempest. Other partisan groups subordinated themselves to Home Army command, and many volunteers joined during the fighting, including Jews freed from the Gęsiówka concentration camp in the ruins of the Warsaw Ghetto.
Colonel Antoni Chruściel (codename "Monter") who commanded the Polish underground forces in Warsaw, divided his units into eight areas. On September 20th, the sub-districts were reorganized to align with the three areas of the city held by the Polish units. The entire force, renamed the Warsaw Home Army Corps (Polish: Warszawski Korpus Armii Krajowej) and commanded by General Antoni Chruściel – who was promoted from Colonel on September 14th, formed three infantry divisions (Śródmieście, Żoliborz and Mokotów). The exact number of the foreign fighters who fought in Warsaw for Poland's independence, is difficult to determine. It is estimated that they numbered several hundred and represented at least 15 countries – Slovakia, Hungary, Great Britain, Australia, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, the United States of America, the Soviet Union, South Africa, Romania and even Germany and Nigeria. They wore the underground's red-white armband (the colors of the Polish national flag) and adopted the Polish traditional independence fighters’ slogan ‘Za naszą i waszą wolność’. Some of the ‘obcokrajowcy’ showed outstanding bravery in fighting the enemy and were awarded the highest decorations of the AK and the Polish government in exile. During the fighting, the Poles obtained additional supplies through airdrops and by capture from the enemy, including several armoured vehicles, notably two Panther tanks and two Sd.Kfz. 251 APC vehicles. Also, resistance workshops produced weapons throughout the fighting, including submachine guns, K pattern flamethrowers, grenades, and mortars.
In late July 1944 the German units stationed in and around Warsaw were divided into three categories. The first and the most numerous was the garrison of Warsaw. As of July 31st, it numbered some 11,000 troops under General Rainer Stahel. These well-equipped German forces prepared for the defence of the city's key positions for many months. Several hundred concrete bunkers and barbed wire lines protected the buildings and areas occupied by the Germans. The second category was formed by police and SS under Col. Paul Otto Geibel, numbering initially 5,710 men, including Schutzpolizei and Waffen-SS. The third category was formed by various auxiliary units, including detachments of the Bahnschutz (rail guard), Werkschutz (factory guard) and the Polish Volksdeutsche (ethnic Germans in Poland) and Soviet former POW of the Sonderdienst and Sonderabteilungen paramilitary units. During the uprising the German side received reinforcements on a daily basis. Stahel was replaced as overall commander by SS-General Erich von dem Bach in early August. The Nazi forces included about 5,000 regular troops; 4,000 Luftwaffe personnel (1,000 at Okęcie airport, 700 at Bielany, 1,000 in Boernerowo, 300 at Służewiec and 1,000 in anti-air artillery posts throughout the city); as well as about 2,000 men of the Sentry Regiment Warsaw (Wachtregiment Warschau).
After days of hesitation, at on July 31st, the Polish headquarters scheduled "W-hour" (from the Polish wybuch, "explosion"), the moment of the start of the uprising. The decision was a strategic miscalculation because the under-equipped resistance forces were prepared and trained for a series of coordinated surprise dawn attacks. In addition, although many units were already mobilized and waiting at assembly points throughout the city, the mobilization of thousands of young men and women was hard to conceal. Fighting started in advance of "W-hour", notably in Żoliborz, and around Napoleon Square and Dąbrowski Square. The Germans had anticipated the possibility of an uprising, though they had not realized its size or strength. That evening the resistance captured a major German arsenal, the main post office and power station and the Prudential building. However, Castle Square, the police district, and the airport remained in German hands. The first days were crucial in establishing the battlefield for the rest of the fight. The resistance fighters were most successful in the City Centre, Old Town, and Wola districts. However, several major German strongholds remained, and in some areas of Wola the Poles sustained heavy losses that forced an early retreat. In other areas such as Mokotów, the attackers almost completely failed to secure any objectives and controlled only the residential areas. In Praga, on the east bank of the Vistula, the Poles were sent back into hiding by a high concentration of German forces. Most crucially, the fighters in different areas failed to link up with each other and with areas outside Warsaw, leaving each sector isolated from the others. After the first hours of fighting, many units adopted a more defensive strategy, while civilians began erecting barricades. Despite all the problems, by August 4th, the majority of the city was in Polish hands, although some key strategic points remained untaken.
The uprising was intended to last a few days until Soviet forces arrived; however, this never happened, and the Polish forces had to fight with little outside assistance. Among the most notable primary targets that were not taken during the opening stages of the uprising were the airfields of Okęcie and Mokotów Field, as well as the PAST skyscraper overlooking the city centre and the Gdańsk railway station guarding the passage between the centre and the northern borough of Żoliborz. The leaders of the uprising counted only on the rapid entry of the Red Army in Warsaw (`on the second or third or, at the latest, by the seventh day of the fighting`) and were more prepared for a confrontation with the Russians. At this time, the head of the government in exile Mikolajczyk met with Stalin on August 3rd, 1944 in Moscow and raised the questions of his imminent arrival in Warsaw, the return to power of his government in Poland, Stalin refused. Thus, the Warsaw uprising was actively used to achieve political goals. The question of assistance to the insurrection was not raised by Mikolajczyk, apparently for reasons that it might weaken the position in the negotiations. The question of helping the "Home Army" with weapons was only raised, but Stalin refused to discuss this question until the formation of a new government was decided. The Uprising reached its apogee on August 4th, when the Home Army soldiers managed to establish front lines in the westernmost boroughs of Wola and Ochota. However, it was also the moment at which the German army stopped its retreat westwards and began receiving reinforcements. German counter-attacks aimed to link up with the remaining German pockets and then cut off the Uprising from the Vistula river. Estimates of civilians killed in Wola and Ochota range from 20,000 to 50,000, 40,000 by August 8th in Wola alone, or as high as 100,000. The main perpetrators were Oskar Dirlewanger and Bronislav Kaminski, whose forces committed the cruelest atrocities. The policy was designed to crush the Poles' will to fight and put the uprising to an end without having to commit to heavy city fighting. With time, the Germans realized that atrocities only stiffened resistance and that some political solution should be found, as the thousands of men at the disposal of the German commander were unable to effectively counter the resistance in an urban guerrilla setting.
Despite the loss of Wola, the Polish resistance strengthened. Zośka and Wacek battalions managed to capture the ruins of the Warsaw Ghetto and liberate the Gęsiówka concentration camp, freeing about 350 Jews. The area became one of the main communication links between the resistance fighting in Wola and those defending the Old Town. On August 7th German forces were strengthened by the arrival of tanks using civilians as human shields. After two days of heavy fighting they managed to bisect Wola and reach Bankowy Square. However, by then the net of barricades, street fortifications, and tank obstacles were already well-prepared; both sides reached a stalemate, with heavy house-to-house fighting. Between the 9th and 18th of August pitched battles raged around the Old Town and nearby Bankowy Square, with successful attacks by the Germans and counter-attacks from the Poles. German tactics hinged on bombardment through the use of heavy artillery and tactical bombers, against which the Poles were unable to effectively defend, as they lacked anti-aircraft artillery weapons. Even clearly marked hospitals were dive-bombed by Stukas. The Poles held the Old Town until a decision to withdraw was made at the end of August. On successive nights until September 2nd, the defenders of the Old Town withdrew through the sewers, which were a major means of communication between different parts of the Uprising. Thousands of people were evacuated in this way. Those that remained were either shot or transported to concentration camps like Mauthausen and Sachsenhausen once the Germans regained control. Soviet attacks on the 4th SS Panzer Corps east of Warsaw were renewed on August 26th, and the Germans were forced to retreat into Praga. The Soviet army under the command of Konstantin Rokossovsky captured Praga and arrived on the east bank of the Vistula in mid-September. In the Praga area, Polish units under the command of General Zygmunt Berling fought on the Soviet side. The Germans intensified their attacks on the Home Army positions near the river to prevent any further landings, but were not able to make any significant advances for several days while Polish forces held those vital positions in preparation for a new expected wave of Soviet landings. Polish units from the eastern shore attempted several more landings, and from the 15th to 23rd of September sustained heavy losses (including the destruction of all their landing boats and most of their other river crossing equipment). Red Army support was inadequate. Plans for a river crossing were suspended "for at least 4 months", since operations against the 9th Army's five panzer divisions were problematic at that point, and the commander of the 1st Polish Army, General Berling was relieved of his duties by his Soviet superiors.
By the first week of September both German and Polish commanders realized that the Soviet army was unlikely to act to break the stalemate. The Germans reasoned that a prolonged Uprising would damage their ability to hold Warsaw as the frontline; the Poles were concerned that continued resistance would result in further massive casualties. On September 7th, General Rohr proposed negotiations, which Bór-Komorowski agreed to pursue the following day. Over the next 3 days about 20,000 civilians were evacuated by agreement of both sides, and Rohr recognized the right of Home Army soldiers to be treated as military combatants. The Poles suspended talks on the 11th, as they received news that the Soviets were advancing slowly through Praga. A few days later, the arrival of the 1st Polish army breathed new life into the resistance and the talks collapsed. However, by the morning of September 27th, the Germans had retaken Mokotów. Talks restarted on the 28th. The Poles were being pushed back into fewer and fewer streets, and their situation was ever more desperate. On the 30th, Hitler decorated von dem Bach, Dirlewanger and Reinefarth, while in London General Sosnkowski was dismissed as Polish commander-in-chief. Bór-Komorowski was promoted in his place, even though he was trapped in Warsaw. The capitulation order of the remaining Polish forces was finally signed on October 2nd. All fighting ceased that evening. According to the agreement, the Wehrmacht promised to treat Home Army soldiers in accordance with the Geneva Convention, and to treat the civilian population humanely. The next day the Germans began to disarm the Home Army soldiers. They later sent 15,000 of them to POW camps in various parts of Germany. Between 5,000 and 6,000 resistance fighters decided to blend into the civilian population hoping to continue the fight later. The entire civilian population of Warsaw was expelled from the city and sent to a transit camp Durchgangslager 121 in Pruszków. Out of 350,000–550,000 civilians who passed through the camp, 90,000 were sent to labour camps in the Third Reich, 60,000 were shipped to death and concentration camps (including Ravensbrück, Auschwitz, and Mauthausen, among others), while the rest were transported to various locations in the General Government and released.
The Eastern Front remained static in the Vistula sector, with the Soviets making no attempt to push forward, until the Vistula–Oder Offensive began on January 12th, 1945. Almost entirely destroyed, Warsaw was liberated from the Germans on January 17th, 1945 by the Red Army and the First Polish Army. By January 1945, 85% of the buildings in Warsaw were destroyed: 25% as a result of the Uprising, 35% as a result of systematic German actions after the uprising, and the rest as a result of the earlier Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and the September 1939 campaign. In 2004, President of Warsaw Lech Kaczyński, later President of Poland, established a historical commission to estimate material losses that were inflicted upon the city by German authorities. The commission estimated the losses as at least US$31.5 billion at 2004 values. Estimates of German casualties differ widely. Though the figure of 9,000 German WIA is generally accepted and generates no controversy.
Most soldiers of the Home Army (including those who took part in the Warsaw Uprising) were persecuted after the war; captured by the NKVD or UB political police. They were interrogated and imprisoned on various charges, such as that of fascism. Between 1944 and 1956, all of the former members of Battalion Zośka were incarcerated in Soviet prisons. In March 1945, a staged trial of 16 leaders of the Polish Underground State held by the Soviet Union took place in Moscow. Many resistance fighters, captured by the Germans and sent to POW camps in Germany, were later liberated by British, American and Polish forces and remained in the West. Among those were the leaders of the uprising Tadeusz Bór-Komorowski and Antoni Chruściel. The facts of the Warsaw Uprising were inconvenient to Stalin, and were twisted by propaganda of the People's Republic of Poland, which stressed the failings of the Home Army and the Polish government-in-exile, and forbade all criticism of the Red Army or the political goals of Soviet strategy. In the immediate post-war period, the very name of the Home Army was censored, and most films and novels covering the 1944 Uprising were either banned or modified so that the name of the Home Army did not appear. From the 1950s on, Polish propaganda depicted the soldiers of the Uprising as brave, but the officers as treacherous, reactionary and characterized by disregard of the losses. The first publications on the topic taken seriously in the West were not issued until the late 1980s. In Warsaw no monument to the Home Army was built until 1989. Instead, efforts of the Soviet-backed People's Army were glorified and exaggerated. By contrast, in the West the story of the Polish fight for Warsaw was told as a tale of valiant heroes fighting against a cruel and ruthless enemy. The belief that the Uprising failed because of deliberate procrastination by the Soviet Union contributed to anti-Soviet sentiment in Poland. Memories of the Uprising helped to inspire the Polish labour movement Solidarity, which led a peaceful opposition movement against the Communist government during the 1980s. In Poland, August 1st is now a celebrated anniversary. On August 1st, 1994, Poland held a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Uprising to which both the German and Russian presidents were invited.

Demon Slayers—that is the name given to those with special powers that hunts down Demons.
The Demon Slayers operates in a nameless task force to deal against supernatural beings—better known as Demons. No one knew when this task force came into existence or who the boss of the organization is. Rumour has it that this task force has been present in Japan since the Heian period.
Throughout history, the existence of Demon Slayers has been lost to the general public. Only those working in the higher division in the government were aware of their existence. Throughout history, every single Japanese prime minister has attempted to either shut down or take over control of Demon Slayers, but each time they were met with failures.
The first reason being the threat of Demons that the governments themselves were unable to deal with. The second—as well as the main reason—was that Demon Slayers were too powerful. They possess inhuman strength and speed that even bullets can't catch up to. They wielded katanas that were no longer being crafted in the modern age and with their blades wrapped in their powers, they can split a building in half.
They were monsters wearing the skin of humans, just like those Demons they slay. Demon Slayers only operates in the night, never in daylight. Throughout the years, no matter how hard the government tried, they can never locate their headquarter. Even meeting the boss of the organization had only been a handful of times throughout the centuries, the last being exactly a hundred years ago.
While the government continued to wreck their brains to figure out a way to contain the Demon Slayers—as they have always been—the Demon Slayers were having issues with their own.
That issue was a single Demon Slayer name Urokodaki Sabito.
Sabito was a legend among the newer generation of Demon Slayers. He was the Water Hashira—the highest title a Demon Slayer can get, as well as proof that he was the strongest Demon Slayer among the Water Breathe users. Sabito was an orphan, adopted and trained by none other than the previous Water Hashira, Urokodaki Sakonji.
Not only was Sabito strong, but he was also very kind and although strict when training, he was an excellent teacher. Unlike other Hashiras who never bothered teaching their subordinates, Sabito made sure to have a personal training session with each member in the Water Division. He always wore a kind smile on his face and greeted everyone respectfully and equally. He was never arrogant in being stronger and higher ranked than everyone else. He was like a warm flame in the cold winter night, attracting people to him.
The lower rank Demon Slayers were blissfully oblivious, but the other Hashiras has entirely different stories to tell when it comes to Sabito.
They all had one Tomioka Giyuu to thank for that.
Giyuu was also a student of Urokodaki Sakonji, as well as Sabito’s childhood friend.
The two of them were inseparable.
Although Giyuu possessed abilities of a Hashira, his rank remained as Kinoe. It wasn’t that he wasn’t given the offer, it was just that Giyuu had no interest in becoming a Hashira. His only wish was to stay by Sabito’s and slay Demons.
If there was anyone in this world that can make Sabito lose all of his composures, that would definitely be Tomioka Giyuu.
The Hashiras knew that better than anyone, as each one of them had been at least threatened once by the seemingly kind man.
The Insect Hashira—Kochou Shinobu—being the most recent example.
The genius paramedic would pop a vein while maintaining her smile whenever she recalled the incident. She had simply pointed out the truth of how nobody liked Tomioka Giyuu right in Giyuu’s face.
As much as Shinobu dislike Giyuu, she trusted his personality and his ability to keep silent on matters. That was why she was surprised when the very next day an unpleased looking Sabito stormed into her office. What occurred afterward was anyone’s guess, but Sabito would never raise a hand to a woman so Shinobu was considered to be let off easy. To this day the Insect Hashira was still searching for whoever that tattled her to Sabito, just so they can assist her in testing some of the latest poison she made.
And currently…that very same Urokodaki Sabito was livid.
If looks could kill, the Sound Hashira—Uzui Tengen—would be dead a hundred times over. Well…perhaps he wasn’t too far into dying, considering how his flamboyantly beautiful skin was beaten into ugly shades of purple. His three girlfriends were shivering in the corner of the training room, not even daring to whimper as they watched the one-sided beating of their beloved for the past thirty minutes.
“My apologies, I don’t think I’ve heard you properly, Tengen-san," Sabito spoke softly. Despite speaking so respectfully, there was nothing respectful in his actions. His voice was void of any emotion, like the calm before a storm.
Gray eyes stared down at the man lying before him in a heap of limbs.
“What did you say you made Giyuu do, Tengen-san?”
Ah…so this is how I will die—Uzui thought as he stared at the man with a huge scar across his right cheek and coral pink hair pulled back in a low ponytail. Those silver eyes were void of emotion as the man raised the wooden sword over his head, taking a very familiar stance.
Yep, he was going to die. Not by the hands of Demons, but by the hands of a fellow Hashira.
…All because this damn Hashira got jealousy issues?!
Seriously?!
This was not the flamboyant way he imagined when he met his end! No, screw that! He never imagined meeting his end at all!
“S-Sabito-san!” A boy with red hair squeaked at the far end of the other room.
Sabito stopped.
Uzui didn’t dare to even breathe as he stared at the wooden sword hovering just an inch away from his face. He could feel the sharp wind from the force of the blade, brushing against his skin as if taunting his uselessness.
“Yes, Tanjirou?” Sabito asked, voice still even while those gray eyes never leaving their prey.
“Shouldn’t we look for Giyuu-san?” Kamado Tanjirou asked with slightly quivering voice and a face full of concern as he sneaked a glance at Uzui. For the love of Oyakata-sama somebody bless that kid.
That seemed to bring Sabito out as he turned to fully look at Tanjirou.
“Tanjirou, gather the team and have them meet me in the office in thirty minutes.”
“Yes!” Tanjirou shouted. With another glance at Uzui, he hurried away to relay the orders.
Sabito watched until Tanjirou disappeared through the door before looking back down at Uzui. “You better hope Giyuu doesn’t lose a strand of his hair, Tengen-san. Otherwise…”
Sabito didn’t finish his sentence. He didn’t have to.
Tossing the wooden sword aside, Sabito vanished in a blink of an eye.
Certain that the other Hashira was gone, Uzui let out a long sigh of relief before he was tackled down by his three girlfriends who began crying all over him.
“Tengen-sama! Don’t die!!”
“I’m not going to die!” Uzui choked. He might be spared by Sabito, but these women were clutching onto him in all the wrong places. Scratch that, there was no right place, his entire body hurts and he was certain the bastard broke (or at least cracked) every single bone in his body!
“Hurry and call…the paramedics!” He spat out a mouthful of crimson fluid, causing the women around him to freak out even more. None of them even heard his request. With one of the girls practically strangling him, he can’t even explain that it was just the tomato use he drank an hour ago finally spilling out.
Damn it, how did this happen?!
Oh, right…Uzui remembered now.
It had all began with three high ranked Demons. The three of them banded together and formed an underground organization. With their powers and abilities higher than normal humans, they were rapidly rising through the ranks in the underworld and expanding at an alarming rate.
As Demon Slayers, they needed to hurry and take out the three Demons. They couldn’t afford to let them accumulate power any more than this. After those three are taken care of, what’s left of the organization will be the government’s problem, not theirs.
Through the information they had gathered, they learned that the three Demons love to frequent a red district in Kyoto. This particular red-light district was popular amongst the underworld. Many big-name criminals go there, whether to exchange information or for pleasure.
Through weeks of observation and information sent from their spies, Uzui can be certain that these Demons visit the red light district at least once a week. They don’t have any preferred brothel. They would roam the street and look for whomever that catches their eyes.
Taking care of the three Demons wasn’t the main issue. The main issue was those human bodyguards hiding in the shadows watching over their boss. Criminals or not, it was against the Demon Slayer code to turn their blade against humans. That's why they needed to isolate those Demons from their bodyguards—along with the rest of the humans.
The only time that happens was when those Demons find a man that catches their eyes.
Yes, these three Demon’s tastes were into males.
Young and handsome males, to be exact.
The first thing that came to Uzui’s mind was that boar-headed brat. He was perfect for the job and what’s more, he didn’t belong to any division, so he was free to grab. Unfortunately, that idea was quickly discarded when they found out that these Demons liked to conquer their victims. They love pretty boys with strong resolves—especially ones that didn’t wear emotions on their faces—so they would get the sick sense of satisfaction when they break them in bed. They will play with their toy over and over until they get tired (which was in a week at most), devour the victim and move on to their next hunt.
That was how Uzui ended up in this kind of situation…because no matter how much he thought, Tomioka Giyuu who served under the Water Hashira was the only one that fitted the bill. On top of that, being ranked Kinoe meant Giyuu would have no problem taking care of himself should anything happen.
As if Oyakata was on his side, Sabito had been sent away for a one month trip in Korea.
It seemed that Demon Slayer branch in Korea was inadequate with their works so Sabito was sent to smack them into shape. After all, when it comes to teaching Sabito was the only reasonable choice among the Hashiras.
That was two weeks ago, which means there’s still another two weeks until Sabito returns!
In the beginning, Giyuu had walked away when Uzui flamboyantly told him to go with them on this mission. However, the moment the older man announced that this was an order from a Hashira, the raven—like the good soldier he was—reluctantly obliged.
Sure, Uzui had worried about Sabito finding out. After all, the man always has some ways to find out things when it came to Giyuu. However, with the Water Hashira out of the country and Giyuu never being one to tattle or gossip, Uzui was certain he could return Giyuu before Sabito even realized he was gone.
So why?
Why was Sabito who was supposed to be gone for another two weeks back in Japan?! Who the hell leaked their information?!

Tomioka Giyuu was feeling extremely uneasy.
He stood under the roof of the brothel he had been assigned to as he stared at the rain falling from the grey clouds above.
He has been working here in the red light district for five days now, yet still no signs of Demons. The black-haired man gazed down at his clothes and wondered what Sabito will say if he sees him like this. Giyuu could still remember those four painful hours he spent with Uzui’s girlfriends as they dragged him off to shop for suitable clothes.
He was wearing two layers of tank tops. A plain black one underneath and a navy one with leopard prints on top. The black one was a size smaller than it should be, sticking uncomfortably tight against his skin with the navy tank top being a bit too big, causing the right strap to constantly slip off his pale shoulder.
Giyuu’s fingers itched to pull the strap back up, but every time he would remember Uzui’s girlfriends lecturing him how it’s supposed to be this way—just like the leather jacket he was half wearing. His arms were through the sleeves with the jacket itself pooling around his waist. For some reason, the girls had repeatedly told him not to pull the jacket over his shoulders. It was extremely awkward and very hard to move—which would be incredibly dangerous in battle. The leather pants sticking against his legs were also a huge restriction to his movement, matched with those tight boots and buckles.
Since his pants were rather low and his tank tops couldn’t cover much, his waist was revealed, showing off the beautiful abs and v-line disappearing into his pants.
If that wasn’t enough, his nails got painted blue to match his eyes and he even had to wear a black choker which Giyuu still sees as a collar. According to Uzui, this was a tracker so that his team would know his location at all time,
Giyuu heaved out a soft sigh and stepped outside.
He wasn’t the least bothered by the rain soaking into his body as he strolled down the quiet street. In one more hour, the brothels will be open for business and people will flood in. Giyuu walked over to the hydrangea garden at the center plaza. The hydrangeas were in full bloom during this season. The blue and purple flowers complemented each other beautifully as raindrops gently cleaned their petals.
He found this place on his second day of work. It was a good spot for him to relax and think. He reached out, about to touch a blue hydrangea when his senses went haywire.
Demon.
Giyuu’s eyes narrowed just by a small fraction, but his hands continued to reach out, not even faltering as he gently brushed his finger over the soft petals.
“My, my, what’s a lovely thing like you doing here?” A voice spoke behind him as shadows passed over Giyuu. The water droplets that had been hitting against his body disappeared.
Giyuu turned to see an ordinary-looking businessman, dressed in gray suits and holding a black umbrella over him to shield him from the rain.
Giyuu didn’t say anything and just stared impassively at the man.
“Are you lost?” The businessman inquired politely as if he seriously believed Giyuu was some innocent young man lost in the underground red-light district.
“I work here," Giyuu deadpanned, turning his head away.
“Oh?” The raven pretended not to notice the way the Demon’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “That must be harsh—pardon me, I shouldn’t say that. It’s just that you’re so charming that I couldn’t help but notice you. Where do you work? I’ll walk you back.”
“No need," Giyuu said curtly, stepping around the Demon as he walked away. While he never looked back at the Demon and acted like he didn’t care, Giyuu was actually focusing all his senses on him.
The Demon didn’t follow him. He acted casual, but Giyuu could feel the Demon’s gaze burning holes into his back.
Giyuu did not doubt that he will see him very soon.
After he returned to the brothel, he headed straight for his assigned room. He ignored the front desk lady who was too used to his cold shoulder to bother with him. He went up the stairs, passed by a couple of rooms with questionable sounds coming from behind closed doors, and shut himself inside his room.
It was only then that he relaxed just the slightest bit. He still couldn’t drop his guard, as there was no telling who might have come into his room or if this place has been bugged. For the hundredth time, Giyuu wanted to go home.
He missed the dorm he shared with Sabito.
He missed their bed that carried Sabito’s scent.
Most of all, he missed Sabito.
Giyuu slowly sat down on the corner of the room. It was the only place he ever used in this room, whether it was to sleep or eat. Never once did he touch any of the furniture within this small, confined space.
Giyuu pulled his knees up so he can rest his head. He closed his eyes, briefly wondering what Sabito was doing before deciding to get some rest.
Tonight will be busy.
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼
No one dared to speak.
Never has the Water Breathe users been so terrified of their Hashira. To them, Sabito has always been a mentor and an older brother figure. The Water Division has always been proud of their Hashira because unlike all other Hashiras, Sabito was normal gentle.
He treated his subordinates kindly. He taught them everything they needed to know. And most of all, he was extremely responsible in his work. Unlike some of the Hashiras that pushed all their paper works to their underlings, Sabito never did any of that. He was dutiful and efficient in everything he does.
Yes, their Hashira was the best.
Kind, strong and wise—except he was currently oozing bloodlust as he stood over his mahogany desk, glaring at the materials they’ve been ordered to steal gather from the Sound Division.
Makomo was perhaps the only one unaffected. Then again, rarely anything affects her. She was smiling—humming even—as if the entire situation was completely unrelated to her.
Never has the Water Breathe users wanted to beat up the Sound Hashira like they were doing in their hearts right now. What in the world was he thinking?! Why the heck did he make their second-in-command go undercover in a brothel of all places?! If they were capable, they would charge into the Sound Division just to give Uzui Tengen a piece of their minds!
Of all Water Breathe users, Tanjirou—their latest addition—had it the worst. Due to his sensitive nose, he was pretty much drowning in Sabito’s rage. The poor boy had to be supported by his sister who was also somewhat affected by the pressure Sabito was giving out.
Sabito wasn’t livid anymore.
There was no longer any words to describe the heat bubbling through his veins as he stared down at the pictures taken of Giyuu from the past couple of days. Giyuu who was dressed in all types of flimsy clothing he had never in his life wore before, living in a sex house and being eyed by men like a product.
Sabito had to use all his strength to hold himself back just from charging back into the Sound Division and giving Uzui another round of beating.
“Murata.” Despite the anger, Sabito still managed to speak so calmly. If the Water Breathe users didn't know their Hashira well, they would have all been fooled.
“Y-yes!” Murata was nearly in tears just from being called out. In his hast he almost dropped the laptop he was clenching onto.
“What is the current intel the Sound Division has gathered?”
“Yes!” Murata shouted as he looked down at his laptop. He stared at the screen of data coming from the Sound Division that he had secretly hacked into, praying desperately that the Sound Division hasn't noticed yet. If they throw up a firewall and kicks him out of their server, who knows what Sabito might do!
“The last information was sent an hour ago! G-Giyuu-san has made contact with one of the Demons. It’s very likely the Demons will make their move on him tonight!”
"Good," Sabito whirled around as the Water Breathe users shuddered at the calm and composed look on his face because they all knew Sabito was nowhere near calm or composed. “Makomo.”
“Yes, Sabito?” Makomo replied in that sweet and airy voice of hers, beautiful emerald eyes smiling up at her Hashira.
“Take care of the people from the Sound Division. There’s no need to worry about the Sound Hashira. He won’t be able to move tonight.”
What the heck did you do to the Sound Hashira?—was the thought flowing through all of their minds except Makomo and Tanjirou who was the witness to the crime scene.
“Tanjirou, Nezuko.”
“Yes!” The Kamado siblings straightened up at being called.
“You two will accompany me in tonight’s hunt. We leave in an hour. Murata, keep us updated with Giyuu’s location and status. Send Makomo the locations of the Demon Slayers from the Sound Division.”
“Yes sir!”
Sabito waved his hand, a signal of dismissal and all the Demon Slayers filed out, leaving Sabito to stand alone in his office. The man leaned back against his desk, swiping a picture of Giyuu and held it up over his head.
A small frown tugged on the man’s lips as silver eyes stared at the picture of the blue-eyed man standing next to the glowing red lantern in the night. Whoever took this picture had taken it high up in a building across the street.
Giyuu’s long black hair was brushed over his shoulder, a black chocker on his neck and wearing a crimson t-shirt with the collar so big it was sliding off his shoulders, showing off his defined collar bones. The raven’s ripped jeans seemed to hug his legs so tightly that Sabito doubt he could even bend down. And worst…Sabito could even see the edges of Giyuu’s underwear sticking out.
It was red.
Giyuu never wore or own red underwear.
The raven had his arms crossed, leaning against the doorframe with cornflower blue eyes gazing off into the distance. Sabito would have laughed at how the Giyuu in the picture was dozing off if not for the situation he was in. The warm light from the lanterns wrapped around his lithe frame, making him all the more eye-catching as well as giving him a delicate feature that only Sabito knew of.
Sabito felt like there was a tidal wave crashing around inside him, pushing his organs left and right.
He sighed, leaning his head back as he slowly closed his eyes.
“What should I do with you…Giyuu?”
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼
Night came faster than Giyuu had anticipated.
He had only gotten three hours of sleep before he was woken up by a sharp knock at the door and order to get to work.
Giyuu wasn’t liked by the workers at the brothel—not that he intended to be liked. He was only here for the mission. The raven walked down the street, ignoring the burning gazes of various men as their eyes raked over his body, accessing him like some sort of goods.
It was time to bring customers back to the brothel.
Giyuu tucked his hands in his pocket, feeling around the small bags of drugs hidden there. These drugs were given to him by Uzui, made by none other than Shinobu. Every time Giyuu finds a customer, he could bring them back into his room before smacking the entire pack of drug into their faces to send them off into dreamland.
The Sound Hashira did mention something about letting them drink it, but Giyuu found this method more efficient. With the help of the drugs, these people would hallucinate and believed they really had sex, leaving the brothel next day extremely satisfied and gave Giyuu enough tips to get him on the owner’s good grace.
Giyuu stopped upon feeling an arm snaking around his waist, grimy hands slipping under his tank tops to feel his skin.
It was disgusting.
“How much for a night, pretty boy?” Foul breath reached his nose.
Everything about this man was repulsive.
The touch, the sound, the smell…it was all wrong.
Sabito…
Giyuu spoke a price.
The man was delighted.
As easy as that, a deal has been struck.
The man pulled Giyuu close, muttering dirty promises into his ears, causing Giyuu to tilt his head away as the stench of alcohol wrapped around him. He closed his eyes, mentally counting to hold back the urge to lead this man into an alleyway and just knock him out.
It was at this moment that Giyuu felt it—the presence of Demons.
They’re here.
He kept his eyes closed, acting as normal as possible as he felt the slimy hand gliding up his skin—edging towards his chest.
One moment the hand was still there, the next, it was gone along with the man’s presence. Giyuu snapped opened his eyes just as he was pulled into a different embrace. The raven breathed into the fresh minty scent rolling off the clothes pressed against him. A normal person might be swooned by the delicacy of the person holding them, but if anything Giyuu was more disguised.
He felt nauseous.
Giyuu didn’t have Tanjirou’s sense of smell. He couldn’t sniff out the difference between human and Demons, but he could feel the Demon’s presence. It was a revolting feeling, like insects crawling in the layer between his skin and flesh. Being held within a Demon’s arms was more nauseating than any drunkard.
Right now, he wanted nothing more than to run a blade right through this Demon’s neck.
If only he had his sword…
“We meet again.” The Demon’s soft voice spoke. Giyuu looked up and just as he thought, it was the Demon from earlier. Beside him were two other Demon males. One looked more like the punk type with long wavy blond hair and the other looked rather shaggy with bushy beard.
The bearded Demon was gripping onto the drunkard, whispering something to him that had the man stumble away in fright.
“These are my friends.” The businessman Demon introduced with a perfect smile when he saw Giyuu eyeing his two other companions.
Giyuu didn’t say anything. He stepped out of the Demon’s arm and turned, about to leave when his wrist was caught. Giyuu looked up at the punk Demon.
“Now, now, we’re sorry for ruining your date.” He said with an arrogant smirk. “As compensation, how about you spend a night with the three of us?”
Giyuu stared at him for a long time before slowly nodding. The man whistled, wrapping an arm around Giyuu and pulling him against his body.
“Fuck you smell so good.”
Giyuu jolted when the man buried his face into his head and inhaled hard.
The raven was barely holding back his disgust as he brought the three Demons to his brothel. They needed to dispose of them away from the eyes of public and their bodyguards. The best way to do that in such a crowded red-light district was in one of the brothel rooms.
Giyuu was certain Uzui and his subordinates were waiting for them already.
This wasn’t the way the Water Division worked, but the Sound Division has always been trained in assassination more than face to face combat, so this method was the best for them.
Giyuu had to force himself to calm down when he felt a tongue running up his neck. If only he has his sword, he would behead this demon right here and now.
Sabito…
Giyuu frowned at the thought of his lover.
Really, he should never have taken Uzui’s request. Hashira’s order or not, he wasn’t part of the Sound Division, he has no obligation to listen to him. If Sabito was to find out, he would be extremely angry, wouldn’t he?
“Oh my, Sasaki-san! How wonderful it is to see you visiting us again!” The owner of the brothel ran up to welcomed the four of them the moment they stepped through the entrance. “I see you have found Yukio-chan! Such good eyes you have! Yukio-chan here is our latest addition! He’s been very popular with our guests!”
“Your name is Yukio?” The punk Demon purred as he licked the shell of the raven’s ear.
“Such a lovely name for a lovely person as yourself.” The businessman Demon hummed as he dropped a card into the owner’s hand. “We’ll take him.”
“Of course, Sasaki-san!” The owner was smiling so wide her lips were practically splitting her face apart as she ran the card through the card machine.
“Yukio-chan, show our guests to the room, be sure to treat them well! I will have someone bring some appetizers and drink to you!”
“No need.” The gruff Demon snapped impatiently, reaching out to snatch Giyuu from his companion’s arms and sniffed him loudly. “Fuck, I already can’t wait.” He licked his lips, beard scratching over the raven’s pale skin and leaving red markings. He was practically running his hands all over the young male.
Giyuu closed his eyes, trying to hold down his anger before he stepped forward despite the hands all over his body.
The journey to his room felt like an eternity. More than once, Giyuu would be forced to stop, pushed against the walls as hungry lips attacked his throat. Many times these demons tried to claim his lips, but Giyuu had avoided all those attempts.
He pushed off the gruff Demon, muttering quietly about going into his room to escape their clutches. The Demons weren’t put off by his reluctance. If anything, they were only getting more and more excited.
Uzui wasn’t wrong when he told Giyuu to act like himself and the Demons will fall for him.
The moment Giyuu opened the door to his rooms, he was all but thrown onto the bed he had avoided touching ever since arriving at the brothel. Immediately, he was crushed under a large body with something hard pressed against his stomach.
His heart pounded as something he kept neglecting finally sank in.
It was fear.
It wasn’t the fear of possible death, but the fear of being touched any more than he already had been. Giyuu was about to push the man off when his wrists were grabbed and pinned over his head.
Azure blue stared as the demon's face distorted, losing that human appearance and becoming the Demon he was all too familiar of. His long tongue snaked out, licking Giyuu across the face, edging closer and closer to his lips when a foot suddenly slammed into the side of the Demon’s face.
It was as if time had slowed for that very moment.
Giyuu watched with wide, unblinking eyes as a black combat boot he was all too familiar with shattered the demon’s skull—distorting the entire shape of the demon’s head. As the demon was sent flying into the air and off of Giyuu, there was a flicker of silver light, moving so fast that the other two Demons didn’t even know what had happened.
Giyuu saw it clearly though.
That flicker of light was from a katana, running smoothly through the demon’s neck.
And that familiar colour and shape the blade…Giyuu only knew one person who wields it other than himself.
A leather-gloved hand grabbed Giyuu by the elbow, pulling up and secured him against the familiar black and navy coat that was not the Sound Division’s, but the Water Division’s uniform.
Giyuu’s heart was racing as the salty ocean scent of his lover filled his nose.
Sabito.
Sabito was here.
“Sa—”
“Quiet, Giyuu.” Sabito voice was as cold as ice.
It was as if a bucket of cold water was dumped over his head, washing away the heat that started seeping through his body. Giyuu didn’t even dare to look up, fearing the expression he might see on Sabito’s face.
It also reminded him that if Sabito was here, then that means he must have seen everything.
“Fucking Demon Slayers!” The other two Demons snarled when they saw the Demon Slayer uniforms all Demons were made to be aware of as well, as well as the Nichirin blade that could end their lives.
Before they could react, two more people dropped down from the hole in the roof. One was a red-haired boy and the other a black-haired girl. Both youths were clad in the Water Division uniforms as they drew their swords.
“Water Breathe Fourth Form: Striking Tide!”
“Water Breathe Fourth Form: Water Wheel!”
Just from the sound, Giyuu knew the battle was over. Taken by surprise, the Demons couldn’t even react in time and just like that, their lives had ended.
Giyuu heard the rustling sound of clothes before Sabito removed the coat of his uniform and wrapped it around his body. This also reminded the raven how unsightly he must look right now.
Sabito didn’t say anything as he hooked an arm under Giyuu’s knees, sweeping the raven off his feet and holding him within his arms.
“Tanjirou, Nezuko, I will leave the rest to the two of you," Sabito ordered. Without waiting for a response, he disappeared from the room.
The entire way back to the headquarters, Sabito and Giyuu didn’t exchange a single word.
The moment they got back, the first thing Sabito did was go to their dorm. As Hashira, Sabito’s dorm was naturally bigger and more luxurious than the rest. While it’s still considered a dorm, it was more like a condo.
They have a wide bathroom with a large tub. While it couldn’t be compared to the public bathhouse, it was more than enough.
Despite Sabito’s rage, Giyuu found himself placed in the bathtub gently before warm water sprayed over his head.
“Don’t move.” Sabito’s tone was demanding as Giyuu froze. The raven stared at his feet, not daring to look up as Sabito began to lather his neck with soap.
So he has seen everything.
Sabito’s touch was soft as usual despite how much Giyuu wished he could just rub his skin raw to get rid of the disgusting feeling. In fact, that’s probably why Sabito was doing it…because as much as Sabito hated the idea of other beings—men or Demons—leaving their marks on Giyuu, he hated the idea of Giyuu getting hurt more.
Giyuu stared at the hands moving his view, noticing how the long sleeve of Sabito’s uniform was getting wet. He wanted to say something but decided against it.
After all, what could he say in a situation like this?
There was no excuse behind his actions. Job or not, he went to work at a red light district while his lover was away on a business trip without even telling him.
“Close your eyes.”
Giyuu obeyed and felt a soft towel rubbing over his face, carrying the fresh scent of soap. After that, Sabito pulled down the showerhead to wash the soap off the raven’s face.
“Here, you can wash the rest can’t you, Giyuu?” Sabito put the towel into his lover’s hands. Despite sounding like a question, it was really a command.
Giyuu nodded mutely, still not daring to look up. Sabito sat on the edge of the tub for a little longer before he walked out of the bathroom.
“I don’t want to see any part of your skin scrubbed red.” Those were his parting words before the bathroom door closed, giving Giyuu his privacy.
Despite how angry Sabito must be, how could he still be so gentle?
Giyuu buried his face into his knees as warm water continued to splash over his body.
Thirty minutes later, Giyuu slowly walked out of the bathroom. He was dressed in a large, maroon t-shirt and baggy black sweat pants that Sabito had kindly left on the counter for him. Giyuu never had these clothes before, and he was certain Sabito didn’t have these either. They seemed new and the fabrics were unusually soft against his skin.
Giyuu didn’t need to think to know that Sabito must have gotten these for him during his time in Korea.
The raven’s heart swelled with shame. Even in Korea, Sabito had been thinking about him and yet he…
Ocean blue eyes glanced across the room, landing on the man with coral pink hair sitting on the edge of their bed, looking through reports.
This was Giyuu’s first time seeing Sabito’s face after in two weeks.
His face was carefully blank with silvery gray eyes concentrating on the papers in his hand. However, Giyuu knew that Sabito was not even looking at those documents at all. His eyes were too distant and his posture too stiff.
Sabito didn’t look up as Giyuu slowly approached him. He didn’t even look up when Giyuu stopped right in front of him. He just turned to the next page and continued reading.
Giyuu felt more and more insecure as time went by. He opened his mouth, but he couldn’t even utter his lover’s name with how hard his lips were trembling.
Being ignored by Sabito of all people hurts.
He hated this feeling, but he got no right to complain.
“I’m sorry.” Giyuu finally mustered the courage to speak. Even his voice was trembling. “I’m sorry, Sabito.”
Sabito finally moved. He tilted his head back, looking up at Giyuu with eyes that seemed to have the power to suck his soul in.
“Sorry for what, Giyuu? You’ve done an excellent job in assisting the termination of three high ranked Demons. There’s nothing for you to be sorry of.”
It hurts.
It hurts so much to hear Sabito speak to him in such aloof tone. There wasn’t even the slightest bit of sarcasm in his voice. It’s like Sabito was sincerely stating a fact.
Giyuu stopped thinking for the first time in his life and acted on impulse. He threw himself against Sabito, wrapping his arms tightly around the other man’s neck and buried his face into his shoulder.
“I’m sorry…I should have talked to you. I shouldn’t have done this without consulting with you first. So please don’t ignore me, Sabito. I won’t do it ever again so…”
Sabito sighed. His arms came up, wrapping around Giyuu and flipped them around.
Giyuu hit the bed softly with Sabito on top of him, holding him so tightly that a normal human’s bone would probably crack from the sheer force. But to Giyuu, Sabito’s hug was so warm he could just melt into it.
"I'm angry, Giyuu," Sabito said through gritted teeth as he buried his face into the raven’s pale neck. “Do you have any idea how I felt when I got the news of you working undercover at a brothel taking in customers? Do you have any idea what I felt when I saw those demons running their hands and tongues over you? Giyuu I—do you have any idea how hurt I am when you left me in the dark?!”
“I know…I’m so sorry, Sabito," Giyuu whispered. "I hated it…I don't like feeling anyone else touching me. I never let them get far, I—!"
“This isn’t a matter of how far they went! They touched you! You put yourself in a position for other men to touch you!” Sabito shouted, pulling back as Giyuu saw the rage and bitterness mixed on his face. “And those clothes you wore—damn it Giyuu!”
That was the only warning Giyuu had before Sabito smashed their lips together. The raven gasped in surprise when Sabito’s tongue pushed its way inside his mouth, moving so violently it was as if he was being swept away by a tsunami.
The raven couldn’t do anything but shake within his lover’s tight arms as his mouth was ravished.
This was the first time Sabito had ever been so forceful.
Giyuu shivered when he felt large hands slipped into his pants and cupped his butt cheeks. They kneaded and squeezed the flesh while Sabito kissed him like a starved man. As Demon Slayers, their lung capacities were far greater than humans. However, even Giyuu couldn’t hold on from the onslaught of his Hashira.
Ten minutes later, he was practically drained. His lungs burned in pain and as if knowing that, Sabito allowed their lips to separate with a wet pop. The pink-haired man’s tongue was the last to withdraw from his mouth before he latched onto Giyuu’s neck, kissing and marking his skin like a painter painting over an empty canvas.
Giyuu let out a small gasp when the hands gripping his butt pulled him upward, causing his front to press into Sabito’s. The raven trembled. Through the soft fabric of their pants, Giyuu could feel the shape of Sabito’s cock and the heat radiating off it. When Sabito slid their hips to fit together better, he had to hold down a moan as pleasure jolted through his body.
“S-Sabito…!”
“I’m sorry, Giyuu, but I won’t wait. I can’t.” Sabito breathed hotly into his ears before Giyuu felt his pants and underwear pulled down his legs.
He was then flipped around, face planting into the pillow as his hips were pulled up and held by firm hands.
Giyuu could hear the sound of bottle being unscrewed and instantly knew it was lotion. He bit down on his lower lip when cold fingers slipped inside of him. Usually, Sabito would warm up the lotion in his hands first, but it seemed Sabito had meant it when he said that he won't wait.
Giyuu panted into the pillow, burying his face inside as those fingers moved around inside him, checking to see if he was loose enough. Sabito’s fingers were quick to slide out before Giyuu felt the thick member rubbing against his entrance.
A soft wheeze was all that left his lips as Sabito began pushing himself inside. Giyuu shook as he felt the familiar shape of his lover smoothly sliding into his body until Sabito’s balls were pressed snugly against his ass.
“…!” Giyuu gritted his teeth, holding back a moan when Sabito experimentally rolled his hips.
“Giyuu.” Sabito suddenly called his name as his body draped over Giyuu’s. Their bodies slid against one another as Sabito overlapped his hands with Giyuu’s and laced their fingers tightly together. “Tell me, how many.”
“…What?” Giyuu panted weakly, already short of breath.
“I want—I need to know. Please Giyuu, how many men touched you?”
“I—ah?!” Because his mouth had opened to speak, Giyuu couldn’t contain the yelp that jumped out of his throat when Sabito thrust in him again. “Sabit—ngh!”
“How many, Giyuu.”
“F-four!” Giyuu wheezed. “J-just four…one…ahn…a day…!”
“And?” Sabito snapped his hip forward as Giyuu whimpered beneath him. “Do they all touch you the same way as the ones today?”
Giyuu’s mind wasn’t that far gone yet, so he keenly caught Sabito’s choice of words.
As the ones today?
Sabito didn’t specifically say Demons, which meant Sabito had also seen him on the street with that drunkard. His lover has seen the process of how he hooked up with other men…and yet there was nothing Sabito could do about it. Not without ruining the operation and endangering humans.
Shame and guilt filled Giyuu as he buried his face into the pillow. He gripped the bedsheets, which in turn tightened their fingers that were still laced together.
The raven's silence and action were more than enough answer for Sabito.
Goosebumps crawled over his skin upon feeling the change in Sabito’s aura. Before Giyuu could think about it, Sabito was pistoling in and out of him so fast that Giyuu couldn’t even hold back his voice.
Giyuu was never vocal in bed.
If anything, he barely makes a sound. No matter how good Sabito made him felt, he would always hold his voice in because he didn’t want to look unsightly in front of Sabito.
Sabito had only questioned about this one time. Even after he assured Giyuu that he could never look unsightly or how he would never hate his voice, Giyuu just couldn’t do it. Sabito was never bothered by this. After all, whether Giyuu wanted to let out his voice or not was his choice. All he ever wanted was to pamper and spoil his cute boyfriend.
The pink-haired man once told Giyuu that he enjoyed listening to Giyuu’s breathings. He loved listening to the different changes in his lover’s breaths. He even memorized every pitch and tempo. Sabito could tell how good Giyuu was feeling just from listening to the pattern of Giyuu’s breathing.
Their sex life had always been gentle and unhurried. Holding back his voice might have been hard, but never impossible like right now. Giyuu wailed as Sabito fucked him into the mattress, using strength he had never used in any of their lovemaking before.
Each time the man’s balls slapped against his ass, Giyuu would be pushed forward from the force before Sabito jerked him back. Throughout that, he never once saw Sabito’s face. This made him extremely insecure as this was the first time they had sex without facing each other.
“Sa—Sabito…please ngh…l-let me…let me see you…!” Giyuu pleaded. He wanted to see Sabito so bad. He didn’t like this position despite the intense pleasure wrecking his body. He wanted to see Sabito so bad.
Unfortunately, Sabito didn’t listen. He didn’t even respond.
His movement got rougher and rougher, slamming into his prostate repeatedly as tears prickled the corner of Giyuu’s eyes.
With a half scream, half moan, Giyuu came. His seeds shot out, splattering against the mattress as Sabito tightened his hands over his. With a few more thrusts, Sabito plunged himself deep inside and with a low grunt, Giyuu felt burning hot fluid flooding into his body.
His body was shaking uncontrollably as he lay against the pillow, struggling to control his breathing.
Giyuu felt the hands gripping his slowly loosened before sliding away. He felt those hands taking each side of his hips, applying a bit of pressure as Sabito carefully began easing himself out of him.
Giyuu’s breathing hitched as Sabito did so. When his lover’s cock was completely out of him, he felt an uncomfortable emptiness and longing to feel his lover back inside. He closed his eyes, the unshed tears latching onto his dark eyelashes as he used his breath to calm himself back down.
A warm hand touched his shoulder, making Giyuu open his eyes as Sabito nudged him onto his back.
Giyuu blinked at the blinding light from the ceiling. When Giyuu finally saw Sabito’s face that was just inches away from his. The raven froze, completely forgetting his need for air.
Sabito hovered over Giyuu. His brows were furrowed as he gazed down at Giyuu with a sad smile on his face. A hand gently touched his face, fingers brushing away the extra moisture in his eyes before Sabito dipped his head to press their foreheads together.
“I’m sorry, Giyuu," Sabito whispered as his breath tickled Giyuu’s face. “I didn’t want you to see me like this. I just…”
Sabito couldn’t finish his words as he wrapped Giyuu into a tight hug and buried his face into his hair.
Giyuu was shocked by Sabito’s action. With his head tucked under Sabito’s jaw, he couldn’t see anything, but just from Sabito’s tone, Giyuu knew that his lover was feeling insecure…scared even. These were emotions Giyuu had never seen on Sabito before. He never even considered the possibility that Sabito could feel it. Even in the Final Selection when they faced Demons for the very first time, Sabito hadn’t shown any fear.
“I was scared, Giyuu.” Sabito finally admitted. “You’re strong. Even without your sword, I know you can protect yourself be it from Demons or humans. But when I saw you wearing all those exposing clothes and letting them run their hands—lips—all over you, I…!!”
Sabito paused. His lips were still parted, but no more words came through. He seemed conflicted, as if he wasn't sure whether or not he should say it to Giyuu. His silver eyes were also swirling with uncertainly—something that Giyuu also never seen on Sabito before.
Then after a long time, Sabito finally whispered out the last part of his sentence.
“…I wanted to kill them.”
That was no joke or exaggeration.
Sabito truly wanted to kill anyone that had violated his lover—even if it was simple touching. He was scared for Giyuu…as well as scared of himself. This was the first time he came so close to losing himself to rage. That was why he had brought Tanjirou and Nezuko with him. He needed someone to act as an anchor for him—to remind him of his responsibility as a Hashira and a Demon Slayer. Had he not brought them with him, he would most likely lose himself and do unspeakable things to those Demons that Oyakata will never approve of.
Worst of all, he might have done it in front of Giyuu…
Sabito was pulled from his thought when he felt Giyuu’s arms wrapped around him, giving him a firm squeeze.
“I’m sorry," Giyuu mumbled against his neck. “I…”
Giyuu thought back to the feeling of those hands roaming over his body and the tiny bit of fear he experienced at the time.
“I was scared.” He said quietly, feeling Sabito’s arms tightened around him. “When they were touching me, I was more afraid of their touches than the possibility of them killing me. But you came for me. Thank you, Sabito.”
“…Just promise me to never do that again, Giyuu?” Sabito sighed, voice much calmer now.
Giyuu responded with a small nod.
They stayed like that until Sabito locked their lips in a tight kiss.
Giyuu shivered when he felt Sabito’s tongue licking across his lips, requesting permission to enter. He didn’t hesitate to part his mouth, welcoming the tongue that slid inside and began playing around with his.
Sabito’s hands—calloused from the years of wielding swords—slid down the curves of his body, hooking onto the back of his left knee and hiked it over his hip. The gesture surprised Giyuu, causing him to gasp into his lover’s mouth before that gasp morphed into a long moan as Sabito’s hard cock slid back into his body.
“S-Sabito…” Giyuu pulled back with a thin thread of saliva stretching between their moist and kiss swollen lips.
“Sorry, Giyuu.” Sabito nestled himself inside that delicious heat. “But I can’t hold back.”
“Then don’t. There’s no need to hold back...” Giyuu shuddered, turning his face away to hide his embarrassment, only for Sabito to guide his head back by the chin.
“Let me see your face," Sabito said softly as he rested his palm against Giyuu’s cheek. The adoration within his silver eyes turned into sadness as he brought Giyuu closer.
“I’m sorry about before…did it hurt Giyuu? I know I was rough on you, I’m really—”
“No.” Giyuu leaned against Sabito’s touch. “It felt good. You’re always gentle, Sabito.”
Sabito frowned, silver eyes searching Giyuu’s face until he was certain there was no trace of lies anywhere in his words. And then, Sabito began to move. He rocked slowly against Giyuu, causing the raven to suck in a sharp breath of air.
“Sa…Sabi—…” Giyuu panted, grasping the wrist of the hand on his cheek. It was the only thing he could think of holding onto as his breathing started to become a mess all over again.
“I know…” Sabito groaned, leaning forward until their noses were lightly touching. “Ngh…You feel so good, Giyuu.”
Giyuu’s cheeks heated up at the compliment. Sabito always knew exactly how to set him off. It wasn’t fair.
“Giyuu?” Sabito’s eyes widened when Giyuu suddenly pulled his hand away from his face and grabbed him by the shoulder. With a burst of strength, the raven turned Sabito onto his back and seated himself on top of him. Both men had to fight down a moan as Sabito’s cock slipped deeper into Giyuu.
The raven was trembling hard with half-lidded eyes swirling with desire.
“Giyuu, you don’t need to—!” Sabito was cut off when Giyuu tried to lift himself. The Hashira’s hands instantly flew up to catch the raven by his hips. “Giyuu!”
“I want to do this," Giyuu said so quietly that Sabito almost didn’t hear him. “Please Sabito, let me do this.”
Sabito stared at Giyuu with wide eyes before he slowly lay back down. His hands still rested on those pale, boney hips, but they were no longer gripping Giyuu’s hips to restrict his movement.
“Just…tell me any time you’re tired—or when you want to stop," Sabito instructed him. As an afterthought, he grabbed his coat lying at the bedside and threw it over Giyuu’s shoulders.
Sabito was honestly just thinking about Giyuu’s wellbeing. Their room temperature wasn’t that high, and Giyuu’s naked. He just wanted to find something to provide him with some warmth. However, the visual was so mind-blowing that Sabito found himself blushing hard. The way his uniform hung off that beautiful, lithe body was incredible. The contract of Giyuu’s pale skin and the darkness of the coat were also amazing.
Sabito was certain he never had any weird kinks, but this came dangerously close.
“It’s…a bit cold…” Sabito stammered, trying hard to control himself while hoping that Giyuu didn’t feel the way his cock twitched inside him.
Rosy pink hue dusted over Giyuu’s pale cheeks. With that shy expression and beautiful blush on his usually stoic face, Giyuu looked enchanting. Sabito hurriedly swallowed the pool of saliva that had gathered in his mouth without him knowing.
Really, Giyuu will be the death of him one day.
“I-I’m…going to move.” Giyuu bashfully averted his eyes as the colours on his cheeks deepened.
“Y…yeah…” Sabito swallowed hard as Giyuu lifted himself, then slowly lower back down until he was fully seated on Sabito.
Both men shuddered at the sensation.
“Ah…” Giyuu couldn’t contain his voice. It was deep, too deep. He didn’t know if it was because he was taking the initiative first time or if it was because of this position, Sabito’s cock was going into places it had never reached before.
“Sabito….Sabito…” Giyuu chanted Sabito’s name as his movements gradually became fluid. His speed began to pick up and when he sank down at just the right angle, his eyes widened upon feeling Sabito’s cock digging right into his prostate.
Giyuu screamed.
Having cummed not too long ago, Giyuu’s body was naturally sensitive. Just the slight aim into his prostate was enough to have him cumming over Sabito’s abdomen. The raven breathed heavily, his heart beating so hard he felt like he could have a heart attack at any moment.
But he wasn’t done.
He still needed to get Sabito off.
The thought of Sabito was the only thing keeping him moving. Even when Sabito called out his name and tightened his hold on his hip to stop him, Giyuu continued to move on trembling legs.
Then finally, Giyuu saw that familiar expression on Sabito’s face. It looked like a wince—as if he was trying to hold something back but couldn’t. The grips on his hips tightened to the point where Giyuu could no longer move, so he did the only thing he could think of. He squeezed his muscles, clamping his walls around Sabito and pushing him across that final line.
“Giyuu!” Sabito came with a gasp of his lover’s name.
Giyuu moaned faintly as he felt another wave of heat flowing into him. Finally, without any strength to keep himself upright, he collapsed onto Sabito. Sabito caught him in his arms and pulled the blanket under them, wrapping them up within a cocoon as he held onto Giyuu tightly.
Sabito’s cock was still buried deep within him, but Giyuu didn’t mind. He wanted to feel Sabito longer. Although it had only been two short weeks, he dearly missed his Hashira. He smuggled into Sabito’s warm embrace.
It was always strange to him how making love with Sabito could drain so much of his strength when he can go an entire night hunting down Demons.
“Did…it felt good…Sabito?” Giyuu asked quietly, heart pumping as he nervously waited for a response.
Sabito chuckled, his voice practically vibrating off his body and into Giyuu’s. The pink-haired man dipped his head and kissed Giyuu right between the eyes.
“You’re amazing, Giyuu.” He breathed, pulling Giyuu even tighter against him.
Giyuu let out a small, comfortable sigh. Azure blue eyes fluttered open to look up at Sabito.
“Sabito.”
“Hm?”
“Welcome home.” Giyuu wrapped his arms around Sabito and snuggled against his chest, missing the way Sabito’s eyes widened before warmth and adoration filled those silver orbs.
“Yeah…” Sabito buried his face into Giyuu’s black hair. A small smile graced his lips. “I’m home.”

“Murata-san.” Tanjirou greeted as he walked into the surveillance room with Nezuko poking her head from the doorway. “Nezuko and I are going to the cafeteria for our lunch break, do you want to join us?”
“Ah, yes! I’ll go!” Murata said, shutting his laptop as he glanced up at all the security screens in the wall. He heaved out a heavy sigh he shoved his laptop into his bag.
“Were you busy?” Tanjirou frowned, hoping he didn’t intrude on Murata’s work.
“Oh, no!” Murata waved his hands. “I’m free! I’ll be free for a while...I think…”
The older man heaved out another sigh.
Tanjirou gave him a confused look, but didn’t question any further.
As Murata finished packing his things, he secretly prayed to anyone who would bother listening to him. Please do not let the Sound Hashira—or any Hashiras for that matter—find out that it was him who had been tattling them to Sabito.
He had no choice! It was the job Sabito gave him after all! Since Giyuu never says anything, Murata had to keep an eye on Giyuu through the headquarters’ security cameras and report to Sabito whenever he sees anything unusual—such as a Hashira talking to Giyuu.
If they ever find out…Murata shivered, not daring to think down that line. He hurriedly joined the Kamado siblings as they head for the cafeteria.

Ch13 - Operation Grandpup Drop (A SitBoy Discord Crack Fic)
MA
Chapter 13:
Walter205Last Saturday at 7:50 PM
"Any new leads?" asked Sesshomaru as he entered the main room to the Secret Headquarters for the Public Security Intelligence Agency. The lone occupant glanced up from the bank of monitors with a half dead look on his face as he once again considered why he was helping his former nemesis instead of seeing him killed.
It had been a long five hundred years for Naraku, who had changed considerably in that intervening time period with his enemies unknowingly sealed away, freed of the influence of the shikon jewel, rid of the influence of Onigumo's heart, and finally knowing the joys of true fatherhood after he had sired legimitate children. There was only so much a person could change though and even though Naraku now sought to protect his bloodline and homeland, there was no better place suitable for him to do so from apart from working behind the scenes as the Secret Head of an Intelligence Agency, putting his skills at manipulation and subterfuge to full use.
"No, not since the Okinawa Breakthrough," Naraku responded as he leafed through the various reports. Someone or something had been operating under his nose for at least the past five hundred years, sealing away his former enemies and creating clay copies of them, infiltrating the government and defense force. He had no inclination to help Sesshomaru out but wanted to get to the bottom of who was threatening his government's stability, had ordered a missile attack on four of its citizens, and what their next moves were.
The so called Okinawa breakthrough was a discovery of shipments of high quality clay to an odd location that had turned out to be a pottery cave similar to the one once used by Urasue, but this one had been used to make potentially hundreds of clay people and had apparently been unused for quite some time. The trail had gone cold soon there afterwards.
Naraku felt like they were missing something, something important. It was that moment when the intruder alarms in the HQ went off.

The sprinkler system went off with a whir, buzzing as water spewed from the taps. Naraku's eyes went wild as he threw up waterproof canvases over the computer systems. Managing to save his life's work, he snapped at Sesshomaru, "I'm going to kill whatever you have lured into my lair."
Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes, "Not before I do."
Naraku threw opened the door, and smoke billowed. Sesshomaru's nose was useless in the fire.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I raise a toast to you as we commence the opening stages of Operation Hellstorm, may the spoils of Supreme Conquest soon be ours," said the masked figure as it raised a glass of wine to the other eight figures seated around the round table in the secret underground bunker.
To his right and progressing further around the table was seated an array of formerly vanquished villains returned from the depths of the underworld through a secret portal opened upon the destruction of Inukimi's Interdimensional Necklace.
Sounga, a Dragon Demon Lord originally from Hell itself who was sealed away within an old Sword.
Muso, a collection of demons and a human named Onigumo who had been discarded by Naraku and left to die under the collapsed remains of Mt Hakurei.
Urasue, a Pottery Demon whom they had utilized to construction an army of clay soldiers, bringing souls back from the depths of hell to power the clay dolls with.
Ryukotsusei, another Dragon Demon that had been sealed away by Inutashio and slain by Inuyasha, like Sounga he was present now in human form.
Hyoga, formerly defeated and his power sealed away by Inutashio during the attempted Mongol Invasion of Japan.
Menomaru, son of Hyoga who was later defeated by Inuyasha and Kagome after gaining his father's power.
Tekkei, a powerful demon bird that was slain by Naraku to open a path to the world between this one and the next. She is present in human form.
Abi, daughter of Tekkei who was also slain by Naraku. Like her mother, she wants revenge against Naraku.
And finally there was the masked man himself, none other than the former collection of demons and humans trapped within the Shikon No Tama, the entity known as Magatsuhi, now forever free of the Jewel itself to wreak havoc on the world. Together with the group of nine he had formed the Shikon Cabal for the purpose of Supreme Conquest.

Sesshomaru and Naraku paused as soon as they noticed the slender figure traipsing through the raining smoke filled hall. Her long black hair had been piled up in a tight bun, but the four dashed markings between her brows was unmistakable. "Midoriko..." Sesshomaru had only known her from old scrolls. Her piercing gaze felt damning. She pulled down her soaked ribbed black leather jacket and got down to business, "Excuse my intrusion Demons, we have a problem. I require your immediate assistance."
 SlayerLast Sunday at 4:19 PM
"My reincarnate is in trouble. Come we must hurry if we are to save your mate and pups Sesshomaru." Midoriko turned on the toe of her black leather boot and walked out of the room.
 Walter205Last Sunday at 6:20 PM
"Explosions have rocked MI5 and Parliament in London....,"
"Reports of gunfire within the walls of the Kremlin...,"
"Smoke is rising from both the White House and the Pentagon...,"
"Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building has just collapsed, I repeat just collapsed...,"
Together Kagome, Miss Higurashi, Jii Jii, and Inukimi watched the scattered news reports with growing dismay, tears and hands over hearts taking hold as more and more breaking news alerts sounded, with the whole world suddenly seemingly coming undone by as of yet still unknown assailants.
"Everyone, be on guard, we're surrounded," warned Inukimi. Kagome looked up to see her mother in law scenting the air as she looked around her. Clearing her stuffy nose from crying Kagome took a whiff herself and growled as she detected the scent of clay and graveyard soil.
Suddenly the darkened skies outside lit up with a brilliant flash as a familiar sound clattered through the house, followed by what sounded like a china shop's worth of broken pottery clattering onto the ground outside.
Rushing outside in battle formation, Kagome and Inukimi came across the broken forms of perhaps fifty clay ninjas, along with three familiar grooves in the ground. Turning, they sighted Inuyasha and Kikyo advancing towards them.
"Kikyo?" Kagome questioned in surprise. What was even more surprising was that Kikyo scented of a normal human, not death.
"I've been dispatched by the Kami along with other formerly deceased miko's on a special mission. We don't have much time, we need to evacuate you and the others," said Kikyo as Inuyasha extended his hand.
Stormie Like WeatherLast Sunday at 6:36 PM
Just as Kagome took his hand the well house imploded in on itself and a haunting red glow erupted from it's center. Every demon that had it's bones once thrown into  the well reformed and exploded out from the light with a loud zombish groan.
 Walter205Last Sunday at 6:45 PM
Through their mating bond Sesshomaru received a mental image of the battle that had been ongoing for some time now as the three of them neared the shrine. Kikyo, Inuyasha, Inukimi, and Kagome were all covered in wounds with hundreds of dead demons surrounding them and thousands more circling in for the kills. Between the four wounded warriors knelt Jii Jii and Miss Higurashi, the former throwing ineffective sutras with stoic fear while the latter just prayed for a miracle.
"Mate, Barrier, Now!" Sesshomaru telematically sent to Kagome as he drew Bakusaiga from its sheath. When he saw the faint glimmering of pink through the horde he sliced through the demons with his sword, the green lightning cutting down all fifty thousand remaining demons in just a few moments.
"Heh, that's what the fools get for clustering up," Naraku remarked snidely.
"Yes but until the secret portal to hell is closed, they'll just keep coming back, which is one of the reasons I was sent back. Inukimi's Inter-dimensional necklace was a gift bestowed upon her by the Kami for a task she had undertaken for them in the far distant past and it was made from a sapling of the Tree of Ages. I can close the secret portal by undertaking a ritual upon the Tree but it will take some time and I will need to be protected while doing so," explained Midoriko as she landed next to the tree.
With a flash of spiritual energy Midoriko waved her hands and instantly everyone was healed of their injuries and reinvigorated with renewed stamina.
"An old miko technique, lost through the ages after my death I suppose," Midoriko explained after everyone's surprised glances as she moved to the Tree.

Inuyasha and Kikyo were muttering under their breaths. With Midoriko chanting, Sesshomaru turned to his Mate and family, "Inuyasha take them to the safehouse you're whispering about."
"Uh, yeah, sure." He grunted.
"I'm not going without you." Kagome narrowed her gaze at him, "I'm not going to be separated from you at a time like this."
"Hn." He cut down a demon that had just flown up from the well, grabbed her by the waist, and dipped her for a kiss. By the time they separated again she was breathless and heavy lidded, "You will take our young from this danger and protect them at all costs."
She nodded, rubbing her stomach and looking over her shoulder at their adopted puppies in his Mother's arms. "Okay. I'll do it." One last kiss and they parted.
Unfortunately the safe house wasn't as safe as assumed.
 Walter205Last Sunday at 7:33 PM
Everything was proceeding according to plan. They had everything that they needed from hell already so there was no harm in letting Midoriko seal the secret portal and in exchange their ambush at the safe house had yielded a number of significant prizes, a first taste of the rewards to come.
Magatsuhi examined the prizes captured, looking over each with a spectacled eye before turning to the other Cabal members that happened to be present.
"As we all previously agreed upon, Muso shall take possession of the reincarnated Kikyo, Ryukotsusei shall have Inuyasha, Tekkei will take Miss Higurashi and Jii Jii, while Hyoga takes Kagome," said Magatsuhi as the spoils were divided. The two adopted pups of theirs had been wounded in the ambush and left to die, for Sesshomaru to find when the others caught up to the Safe House location following the completion of the Ritual.
Hyoga and Menomaru grinned as they looked over their new prize, largely untouched but still unconscious from the effects of the knock out gas specially tailored for humans, half demons, and demons alike.
"Now my son, we shall take her offspring and feed them into my power pool and then, when she is ready once more, you shall use her to birth the strongest and most powerful offspring the Hyoga Clan has bore witness to in generations," Hyoga said as the two of them carted Kagome off.
Magatsuhi turned to Sounga as the latter came to stand next to him.
"You're up to bat, I'll be staying at the bunker to coordinate our activities worldwide," said Magatsuhi. Sounga grinned as he prepared to make his official re-debut on the world scene.

Having been hidden behind a barrier far too strong for the likes of the forces present, InuKimi took hold of the pups as soon as the canal members had set sight elsewhere, "Take care of the young ones." She passed them to Sango whose large wings barely fit in her barrier. InuKimi pricked her finger and marked the Slayer's head, "This will allow you to enter my domain, have a safe flight." Holding both the pups and the hands of her children, Sango nodded and left for the sky castle. InuKimi scented out Hyoga first, who'd stopped to piss letting his son take Kagome up ahead, taking the foul beast out with her bare claws. It'd been far too long since she'd sunk her hands into hot flesh, but rusty she was not. Her poison bubbled through Hyoga's body. Let them try to bring him back twice. His son had tried to hold Kagome hostage when she found him. His quivering voice telling as he croaked, "I'll kill her if you don't back the fuck off!" "By all means." She rolled her eyes, slicing through him in one quick roll of her wrist, the deadly ribbon of her power broke him and his two halves squished against the ground. Kagome fell into InuKimi's arms just as she melted the remains of Menomaru like that of his father.
 SlayerLast Sunday at 9:53 PM
Kagome cried out in pain and felt a rush of hot liquid go down her leg.
"No no no Inukimi isn't  it too soon?" Kagome looked up at her mother-in-law with pleading eyes.
"Hush now girl everything will be fine." Inukimi took her daughter in law in her arms and flew to the sky palace.
Stormie Like WeatherLast Sunday at 10:02 PM
By the time Sesshomaru had caught up with and dispatched Tekkei, he felt a terror through his mating bond like no other. Following the scent of his Mate had led him to her mother and grandfather. He left them with Naraku as he continued to follow her scent. Blood and amniotic fluid assaulted his nose, his mother was with her. Good. Seeing red, he flew for the flying Shiro of his mother's.
 Walter205Last Sunday at 10:12 PM
Midoriko finished the ritual and stood back as the Tree of Ages glowed with an unearthly light of the Kami's. Thousands upon thousands of pinpricks of light streaked out from the tree like needles, each one trailing a thread of red string. Through the entire world every demon, clay soldier, and being that had passed through the secret portal was skewered and then dragged back down into the depths of hell through a new portal opened in the well. Magatsuhi was the last to go, screaming about "How could this be?" and "But everything was going according to plan!" before disappearing and the Portal closing.
Midoriko collapsed as Naraku caught her now frail form.
"What was that?" he asked in awe, having an idea but not entirely sure of what he saw.
"In sending me back, the Kami bestowed additional powers upon me, sufficient to seal the portal spawned from the destruction of their gift and forcefully return everyone who wrongfully used it. In his planning Magatsuhi didn't account for the possibly of the Kami intervening more forcefully against him and that proved to be the downfall for both him and his 'Shikon Cabal'," Midoriko explained.
"What now?" he asked in a more concerned tone.
"Now, I and the others who were dispatched from the heavens above shall return, our missions accomplished. Go in peace," whispered Midoriko before being encompassed within a ball of light. When it faded, she was gone.

Inuyasha found Kikyo just as she began to dissipate. With his children grown, he took her hand, determined to join her in the afterlife. "Are you sure?" She whispered through tears. He nodded, pulling her to his chest. They kissed as they left for valhallah. Odin saw them coming into his domain and welcomed them with honey mead.
 Walter205Last Sunday at 10:36 PM
"Auuurrgggghhhh! You did this to meeee! Take this and that!" Kagome yelled at Sesshomaru as loud slickish popping sounds emanated from the area where she was giving birth. Sesshomaru spotted a pair of projectiles flying at him and started to dodge, but stopped when his vision afforded him a quick look at said projectiles to see what they were his third born son and seventh born daughter. Quickly he caught them instead, cradling them in his arms.
He knew his mate wasn't in a right state of mind right now; quite frankly he wasn't entirely sure he was either as he licked the afterbirth from the two pups. What came out of his mate at a time like this sure was tasty though, not unlike a fine vegetable soup with a tomato base, just with a tad more copper flavor on the side.
"Come on Kagome you're almost there, I believe there's only about a dozen more or so to go," soothed Inuemi as she handed off a couple more pups. Bat Eri and Yuka flew in with more towels to handle the pups and add them to the growing collection in the nursery next door.
Stormie Like WeatherLast Sunday at 10:51 PM
"Didnt you say she only has four breasts?" Asked Mai, Inuyasha's eldest and baby sitter to most of the pups in the pack, "This is the largest brood I've ever seen. Kagome's mom had held the first fifteen but after they just kept on coming, she gave up and picked two favorites. Petting thier soft heads, she shrugged, "You think she will need nursemaids?" Mai bit her lip, "Yeah, I do. Even in her true form 29 and counting... There's no where to put that many nipples on one body."
 SlayerLast Sunday at 11:11 PM
Sesshomaru  was starting to panic they had gotten up to 32 and he wasnt really sure how the hell they were going to deal with so many pups. Perhaps his mother could take a few to raise or maybe they could adopt a couple out to the newly youkai former humans.
Stormie Like WeatherLast Sunday at 11:19 PM
"Kagome," He swallowed hard as she growled at him. "Perhaps you should just keep the rest in." InuEmi barked a laugh as she handed off number 33 and 34. Kagome squeezed his hand so hard he thought it might break, You're getting exactly what you asked for, jerk." He looked down at their first pup, already and still nursing on her breast. One he could handle, "Have we considered adoption?" Her eyes bled red, "Try giving away my pups and I will rip you limb from limb, starting with your cock." InuEmi held up the final pup with a huge smile, "Great job, Kagome!"
 SlayerLast Sunday at 11:49 PM
35 was the final number. Inukimi called the maintenance  department  and asked them to bring all the cribs and bassinets in the castle. Even with that she wasnt sure their would be enough. So she knixed that idea and asked them to bring all the mattresses  into the adjoining room they would make one huge bed.
 Walter205Last Sunday at 11:50 PM
Even with her greater reserve of demonic stamina Kagome had still been exhausted from the ordeal. She had four pups nursing and another thirty one waiting their turns.
"Inuemi, if you would please just move them around as needed...," muttered Kagome wearily before she fell into a deep slumber.
As his eldest sister complied with moving the pups around on the feeding stations Sesshomaru wiped the sweat from his mate's forehead before touching his mating mark.
Through it he began channeling his stores of demonic energy stamina into his mate, helping to replenish some of what she had lost that would be sorely needed in the big week ahead.
 SlayerLast Sunday at 11:51 PM
"This will do for now Sesshomaru  but you need to provide your mate a proper den. It seems these silly human trappings will not work for this litter." His mother glared at him.
Stormie Like WeatherLast Monday at 6:31 PM
Using the funds of the deceased Imposter Sesshomaru, the real Sesshomaru was able to secure a thousand acre parcel of wilderness deep in the heart of Japan. Using youkai builders and more than a little magic a cave was manufactured with all the joys of modern conveniences with the necessary accommodating space a growing brood of 35 needed. The center room was large enough for many full grown Inuyoukai to lay side by side. Currently Kagome occupied the space with half her pups nursing and the other half sleeping snuggled up to their father. She licked thier little heads and nuzzled them with her nose.

The years rolled by in a blur of adorable puppy tails and wet noses until at around 5 years old they all started to take on humanoid  forms. All that is but the runt of the litter poor little Inuyasha was always smaller and weaker then his brothers and sisters.

"Oh, my poor baby!" Kagome scooped up her littlest and snuggled him up to her chest, "You three, quit picking on your brother." The other boys frowned and in unison pouted, "Sorry Mama." She patted little Inuyasha's fluffy head, "You're okay."
Sesshomaru rolled his eyes, "You're coddling him, he will never grow larger."
InuKimi sighed, "Let me take him for awhile, he will flourish as an only child. You know, Sesshomaru was also a late bloomer when it came to obtaining a true form."
"I was not!" He snapped.
"Were so. You were my cute little fluffykins for many years." She cackled as he growled.
Kagome looked down at her pup and back at the full house behind her, perhaps he would do better with his granddog...

The little white puppy in her arms glowed with green energy. And Kagome  was suddenly holding a tiny version of Sesshomaru  complete with stripes and crescent moon.
"No." He growled at his granddam  "Stay with mama."

InuKimi chuckled, "He's just like his father, a little mommy's puppy." Inuyasha proceeded to nuzzle Kagome's shoulder. "Hehehe," Kagome looked at her Mate and snickered, "Looks like he's the same level as the other's now." Sesshomaru huffed, "We shall see. Pups!" He clapped his hands, "Get your coloring books, we are going to have a little competition."

Little Inu jumped from his mother's  arms and ran to the long line of pups armed with coloring books and boxes of crayons.

While the rest of the pups completed lovely pictures, Inuyasha accidentally melted the entire box in an acidic rainbow on the page.

"Well my boy it looks like you did inherit  your father's  gifts." Inukimi giggles as she watched the sad little pup stare at his melted box of crayons.

Sesshomaru rubbed his chin, "Well, he is the first to show any signs of poison." Suddenly whining broke out in the ranks, "What about me, Daddy!" "Daddy look! I made this dragon bleed just like in the bedtime story!" "Daddy look what I can do!" No less that ten of the pups had crayons up their noses or in their mouths. "No, no, no..."Kagome ran through the room dislodging crayons. Inuyasha grinned, "woof."

At the edge of the room sat their first born daughter, the first of all her siblings to achieve a humanoid form and looked the most like her father as she stared upon her family with no amusement to be found. Her pure white hair looked like snow and her piercing golden eyes dug even into her mother’s soul. “This Kiyomi does not wish to color,” her voice was deep as though she were saying something profound, “I wish father to teach me how to harness my poison so I may thin the heard.”  This wasn’t the first time Kiyomi suggested she be allowed to kill her siblings. “I also desire a juice box,” was her follow up demand.
 Walter205Last Tuesday at 7:39 AM
The thousand acre parcel with secret cave was nice, but not perfect. The backlash from the humans was growing by the day following the events of Operation Hellstorm and both nations and the world councils were voting on resolutions to reduce all demons to second class citizens and sequester them into specially designated living regions. Sesshomaru had seen this coming from a mile away and had spent the past five years preparing for the construction of their new home, an idea that had come to him one day whilst he had been staring up into the night sky one evening.
Totosai had forged at his behest a magnificent sword of construction for him, one that he had been feeding stores of demonic energy each day for the past five years. Now it hummed to indicate it was ready to perform its desired task. Kagome came outside, the pups being left inside with the others as she came to stand at his side.
"What was it you wanted to talk about?" asked Kagome.
"Not talk, show," replied Sesshomaru before encompassing both of them inside his bubble and taking off at great speed. He could feel Kagome's fear as she regained her senses just as they left Earth's atmosphere and entered space but he quickly reassured her that his bubble contained sufficient oxygen.
Soon enough they landed on the surface of the moon and she looked at him questioningly. He stared at his sword of construction before plunging it into the surface of the moon. In a flash of blinding light the sword unleashed five years of vast stores of demonic energy, magically transforming it into terraforming procedures that turn the landscape into grasslands, craters into lakes, bare mountains into forested peaks, as the stars reappeared in the night sky along with the Earth as an oxygen enriched atmosphere shimmered into existence.
"May I welcome you to be the first visitor to the Land of the Moon?" asked Sesshomaru.
Stormie Like WeatherLast Tuesday at 8:35 AM
And thus, InuKimi's quest for grandpups ended with her son and his pack living happily on the Land of the Moon.

Site Premise and Timeline
Almost as important as our rules is telling you about what we’re actually based on! Now, we know Sanctuary is a niche sort of show, relatively speaking, and it’s been off television for years - we get it. As such, we’ve provided you with not only the basic premise of where we’re at current-day on Survivor Guilt, but we’ve also provided a timeline of the vital events throughout the show - including alterations made, as this is an alternate universe anyway! A lot of this happened behind the scenes until the parts we added anyway, so extensive knowledge is not required to join. Just give this a skim!
Premise
Survivor Guilt is an alternate universe Sanctuary roleplay, designed to be welcoming for both those who have and those who have not watched the show. In this timeline, the Cabal are still very much active and the SCIU attack was far more successful than seen in the show finale. It is now years after the attack and the United States has become a disaster zone. SCIU remains operational, under heavy influence of the Cabal, and its existence has lead to a divide between the United States and the United Nations. American abnormals are left fleeing the situation as best they can, but many are unsuccessful and find themselves trapped in a mandatory registration system. Behind the scenes, their experimentation has expanded back into creating Abnormals from humans as well, encouraging the strife present and making it worse in hopes of igniting a full-scale, global war between humans and abnormals.
Timeline
700 AD
The Cabalis Nocturnum is founded as a secret society, intent on collecting beings of power and abnormals.
May 1886
Helen Magnus, Montague John Druitt, James Watson, and Nigel Griffin ("The Five") inject themselves with the source blood — pure, untainted vampire blood. Their abilities surface. Nikola becomes a vampire.
April 1898
The Sanctuary is founded in London, England.
September 1898
Helen arrives in the past from 2011.
The Five are enlisted to track and capture or kill Adam Worth.
Helen shoots Adam, who falls from a cliff into the river below. John shows him a kindness and lets him go, believing he will die in the river.
June 1899
Future Helen finds her way to Hollow Earth and begins negotiations to achieve better relations with the surface dwellers.
November 1899
Helen begins working on the Underground Sanctuary.
May 1914
The Old City Sanctuary is founded.
April 1951
Bigfoot arrives at the Sanctuary and refuses to leave after Helen saves his life.
Early 1960s
Nigel Griffin dies.
Late 1980s
Ashley Magnus is born.
Early 1990s
Henry Foss is found without parents on the moors and is brought back to the Sanctuary to be raised by Helen.
October 2008
Will Zimmerman joins the Sanctuary.
December 2008
Helen finds her father, Gregory Magnus, still alive. He is cryptic about how and, ultimately, leaves without answering her questions.
January 2009
The Cabal completes a dry run of their latest biological agent, drawing the Sanctuary's attention back to them.
Helen, John, Nikola, James, Will, and Nigel's granddaughter, Clara Griffin, retrieve the source blood from Bhalasaam.
James Watson dies.
Ashley and Henry are taken captive by the Cabal. They escape, but Ashley has been genetically altered.
Ashley brings the source blood to the Cabal, allowing them to complete their project: creating mind-controlled super abnormals.
October 2009
The Cabal attacks the Sanctuary Network with their super abnormals. Tokyo, Beijing, New Delhi, and Moscow Sanctuaries are destroyed. The UK Sanctuary is heavily damaged.
The attacks end in Old City when Ashley's mind control slips and she teleports, caught in the electromagnetic shield and ultimately killing herself and the remaining super abnormal.
John and Nikola begin to dismantle the Cabal to the best of their ability; but they miss a few key players.
November 2009
Kate Freelander joins the Sanctuary.
January 2010
Will dies and, in death, visits a chamber containing the personas of various abnormals. He returns to life with a message for Helen from her father who was also present.
November 2010
Helen and Nikola discover the existence of Hollow Earth through examining a holographic map device left behind for Helen by her father.
December 2010
Adam Worth, not actually dead, tricks Helen into jumping through an inter-dimensional rift, thereby poisoning her so that she will be forced to help him find a way back into Hollow Earth.
Helen, Will, Henry, and Kate travel to Hollow Earth and are killed for their efforts. They are revived in order to track and apprehend Adam, who left Hollow Earth on particularly bad terms.
John and Adam attempt a rescue of the Sanctuary crew, but Adam has other plans, leaving John to be killed by co-conspirators.
Adam is found and nearly apprehended, but escapes in a pod. John, still alive, catches up and makes a deal with Adam. Adam is believed to be dead by John's hand.
May 2011
Helen and Nikola investigate an old tomb containing vampires in stasis. They blow up the tomb, believing they have killed all vampires remaining.
June 2011
The Cabal, slowly rebuilding, extract a few undamaged stasis pods from the tomb destroyed by Helen and Nikola. They begin experimenting in-house to develop different delivery methods than injection.
Praxis is attacked. Abnormals from the outlands of Hollow Earth begin breaching the surface. A camp is set up in Old City to provide shelter to these abnormals.
John appears again to inform Helen of what actually happened, having been betrayed by Adam. The two hunt down Adam and discover him in the middle of traveling back in time using the Praxian energy systems. Adam succeeds and Helen follows, finding herself in 1898 again. John is believed dead in an attempt to overload the machine and stop Adam. Praxis is destroyed and much of the city's population is killed.
July 2011
The Department of Homeland Security founds the Specified Counter-Insurgency Unit (SCIU), claiming to be a research-based unit intending to study and protect against abnormal threats. Nikola is placed in charge of the unit, but the advisor through Homeland is a member of the Cabal.
October 2011
The United Nations cuts off the Sanctuary's funding and support.
Helen attempts to find a new financial supporter to keep the Sanctuary running.
November 2011
The Sanctuary team find out about the existence of SCIU. Tesla leaks them information, not particularly pleased with the organization but believing he can be more useful inside.
December 2011
Abnormal insurgents from Hollow Earth intend to attack SCIU and other leaders in a summit in order to retake the surface. The attack is stopped, but it puts surface dwellers on edge.
Nikola is fired by SCIU. They retain his research and fashion it into a weapon.
Using the weapon fashioned from Nikola's research, SCIU attacks the camps of abnormals from Hollow Earth. Helen attempts to garner the assistance of the populace by revealing the existence of abnormals, but this fails. The attacks are successful and all abnormals within the camps are killed. The Old City Sanctuary is destroyed. Helen is believed to be inside and dead in the blast. Death toll is high.
The Sanctuary is believed to be disbanded and surface locations are closed down; operations continue in the Underground Sanctuary, safe from the discrimination of the surface dwellers.
January 2012
SCIU targets Hollow Earth next and manages to eradicate Abnormal life from a large part of the outlands.
February 2012
SCIU falls under scrutiny from the United Nations. Everything quiets down — for now.
Praxis begins to rebuild.
January 2013
SCIU begins expanding operations again, independently funded by the Cabal.
SCIU begins exposing individuals in the general population to source blood, triggering biological changes which produce new abnormals, termed 'chimeras'.
July 2014
The presence of abnormals is confirmed to the public globally, after years of debate and conspiracy theories following Helen's announcement.
The United Nations condemns the actions of SCIU in the Battle for the Surface in 2011 and promises to implement new safeguards for Abnormal safety.
January 2015
The United Nations insists on the disbanding of SCIU. The US government fights this and separated from the United Nations.
To help counter the harmful possibilities of SCIU's continued operation, the United Nations begins developing a team of their own: the International Specialized Investigative Taskforce (ISIT), with global jurisdiction and the intent to serve in place of the Sanctuary. In honor of its predecessor, the first headquarters is built on the ground of the Old City Sanctuary.
March 2015
After a few false starts, the United Nations places Nikola in charge of ISIT much to his reluctance after the SCIU debacle.
July 2017
The American abnormals rebel against the SCIU initiative of abnormal registration. Many die. The remainder are relocated to camps. Those who escape flea to the safety of the Canadian border and are taken in by ISIT.
ISIT expands to feature locations in Hong Kong, the UK, and Mexico City. They attempt to expand into New York, but are blocked by the government.
January 2018
SCIU is almost entirely Cabal agents.
Source blood experiments expand with alterations to the formula to encourage aggression and lack of ability control in the new chimeras.
October 2019
SCIU's abnormal registration is pushed through as law.
Helen returns to the surface, hearing of the strife, to find Nikola taking care of it. Disagreements ensue on how best to handle the situation. No resolution process is decided upon until months later.
January 2020
Ground breaks on the London ISIT facilities, intending to be the biggest facility and eventually the main headquarters of the organization, to allow more space for abnormal refugees in the Old City facilities.
An entrance to the Underground Sanctuary is completed in the United States to provide an escape route for fleeing abnormals. The tunnel is kept protected by ISIT agents.

Pirate Strongholds
Port Royal
During the “Golden Age of Piracy” in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, Port Royal, Jamaica stood as one of the most popular ports of call for thieves, prostitutes and pirates of every stripe. The small harbor’s association with marauding began in the mid-1600s, when Jamaica’s governors offered it up as a safe haven for pirates in exchange for protection from the Spanish. The buccaneers accepted the deal, and the town soon became a major staging ground for British and French privateers—ship captains commissioned by the Crown to disrupt Spanish shipping in the Caribbean and Atlantic. One of the most famous of these state-sanctioned pirates was Sir Henry Morgan, a Welsh captain who used Port Royal as a base of operations for raids on the Spanish strongholds at Portobello, Cartagena and Panama City.
Tumblr media
Port Royal prospered on the back of its pirate economy, and by the 1660s its streets were lined with taverns and brothels eager to cater to the whims of young buccaneers flush with Spanish loot. Contemporary accounts describe a seamy harbor overrun with gambling, prostitution and drink, where hard-living mariners often squandered thousands of Spanish reals in a single night. Even after the age of privateering had ended, the so-called “wickedest city on Earth” continued to serve as a retreat for a new brand of lawless, freelance pirates. But when these raiders began indiscriminately plundering shipping traffic in the Caribbean, Port Royal’s colonial authorities were finally stirred into action. By 1720, the town had begun to clean up its act and its “Gallows Point” became a notorious site for pirate hangings.
St. Mary’s Island
Peg-legged pirates and swashbuckling sea captains are usually associated with the Caribbean, but many of the most successful buccaneers plied their trade in the Indian Ocean. Beginning in the late 17th century, well-armed bands of freebooters used the African island of Madagascar as a base of operations for raids on European and Asian shipping. According to pirate legend, some of these pioneering thieves even set up a utopian colony called Libertalia, where they mingled with native women and organized a democratic government. Libertalia is most likely a seafaring myth, but Madagascar was home to several other pirate strongholds, most famously St. Mary’s Island on the northeast coast.
In the 1690s, St. Mary’s boasted a population of around 1,500 and served as a vital supply base for pirates like Captain Kidd, Thomas Tew and Henry Every. As part of an underground shipping arrangement, many St. Mary’s-based buccaneers would attack ships carrying exotic goods from India, and local traders would then sell the booty to crooked merchants in cities like New York and Boston. Some of these raids were among the most lucrative crimes in history.
Tortuga
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the early 1600s, the rocky island of Tortuga served as the chief stronghold of a motley group of adventurers, thieves and escaped slaves who preyed on Spanish treasure ships in the Caribbean. These raiders started out as a band of French hunters on nearby Hispaniola (now Haiti), and it was the French word for their method of curing meat, “boucaner,” that inspired their feared nickname: buccaneers. The buccaneers fled Hispaniola for Tortuga around 1630 after the arrival of Spanish settlers, and they soon turned to the lucrative business of piracy. To support their operations, they made Tortuga into a fortified stronghold. Jean le Vasseur, a buccaneer leader who had once worked as a military engineer, even built a 24-gun castle called Fort de Rocher to help guard the island’s harbor.
Tortuga became a prime destination for pirates, attracting men of rough character from as far as England, Holland and Portugal. As more would-be marauders arrived on the island, they organized themselves into a loose fraternity of thieves called the “Brethren of the Coast” and developed their own code of conduct. Many of the Brethren received privateer commissions from England and France, and they proved a thorn in the side of the Spanish, who responded with repeated attacks on Tortuga. This amuse me.
Clew Bay
The west coast of Ireland might not seem like prime pirate territory, but in the 16th century the rugged shores of Clew Bay served as the stronghold for of one of history’s most formidable lady corsairs. During a time when Ireland was ruled by dozens of local chieftains, Grace O’Malley defied convention and emerged as the leader of a seafaring clan who controlled the coastlines through intimidation and plunder. From her base of operations at Rockfleet Castle, O’Malley—also known as Granuaile—commanded hundreds of men and some 20 ships in raids on rival clans and merchant ships. She also ran afoul of government officials, who made repeated attempts to curb her activity. When a fleet from Galway besieged her castle in 1574, O’Malley led her pirates in a counterattack and forced the ships into a retreat.
O’Malley was captured in 1577 and spent several months behind bars, but by the 1580s she was once again stalking the seas surrounding Clew Bay. Her hands-on style of leadership earned her a reputation as a ruthless fighter—a popular legend states that she once gunned down a Turkish buccaneer only a day after giving birth—but she also showed a keen understanding of politics. When English colonial authorities eventually captured her son and impounded her ships, O’Malley petitioned the Crown for redress and then set sail for England. During a historic 1593 meeting with Queen Elizabeth I, she personally negotiated her son’s release and even secured the return of her fleet.

New Providence
Long before it became a popular stopover for cruise ships and vacationers, the Bahamian island of New Providence was known as a lawless “nest” of pirates—and for good reason. The island sat in the center of the well-traveled trade lanes between Europe and the West Indies, and its capital of Nassau offered a safe harbor for marauders to repair and resupply before setting sail in search of plunder. By the 1710s, New Providence had become a popular gathering place for some of the Caribbean’s roughest customers. Among others, raiders like Blackbeard, Stede Bonnet and Charles Vane were known to haunt its seaside taverns and bars.
Pirate activity in the Bahamas eventually became so rampant that the British government feared for the long-term survival of its colony. In 1718, the Crown dispatched three warships to New Providence along with a new governor—the privateer-turned politician Woodes Rogers. Governor Rogers offered a pardon to any pirates who surrendered—some, like Benjamin Hornigold, even became pirate hunters—but he showed little mercy to those who resisted. In December 1718, he sent a chilling message to unrepentant buccaneers when he executed a band of convicted pirates in Nassau. From then on, New Providence was slowly transformed from a playground for thieves into one of the main headquarters for anti-piracy operations in the Caribbean.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Barataria Bay
The swampy islands surrounding Barataria Bay, Louisiana, once served as a sanctuary and safe harbor for the famed pirate-turned-patriot Jean Laffite. In the early 19th century, Laffite and his brother Pierre led a syndicate of thieves who terrorized shipping in the Gulf of Mexico. Working as privateers for the upstart Republic of Cartagena, Laffite’s buccaneers plundered Spanish merchant vessels and then smuggled stolen goods and slaves into New Orleans. By the 1810s, their illegal colony at Barataria Bay had grown into one of the busiest black market ports in all of North America. Between 500 and 1,000 marauders frequented the area, and more than a dozen pirate ships regularly occupied its harbor.
In 1814, Laffite famously interrupted his pirate activity to play an unlikely role in the War of 1812. After receiving an offer from the British—who hoped to use Barataria as a point of access to New Orleans—Laffite instead offered his services to the United States in exchange for clemency for his past misdeeds. Laffite and his followers went on to serve with distinction in the Battle of New Orleans under future President Andrew Jackson, and he was rewarded with a full pardon. But despite winning a clean slate, Laffite would not stay away from a life of crime for long. He later led his men to Texas and formed yet another pirate haven on Galveston Island.

Planning For The Crypto Price Recovery | Hacked.com
Bitcoin fell below $8,000 this week. There have been many articles saying that we will be stuck in a “purgatory” following the bear market, as compared with previous bitcoin cycles. I usually don’t agree with technical people, but they could also be right from a fundamental perspective. New buyers aren’t going to be joining when the SEC is trying to arrest people for trying to start a business. The purgatory could be us waiting on the sidelines until the rules are set. We need the American public.
Eight percent of Americans are invested in cryptocurrency, and 4% will be “joining eventually,” according to recent data. Seventeen percent American Millennials own cryptocurrency. That is absolutely nothing. The main reasoning behind why the other 83% don’t own it is because it is “too complicated”. I know people who have put large sums into the cryptocurrency market and don’t understand what distributed ledgers have to do with bitcoin. Lack of knowledge is a very silly problem to have, especially when the benefits are so apparent.
Coins can provide the security that credit cards can’t. In 2016, there were over 15 million identity thefts related to credit cards in America alone. That is one in 16 people who were affected. All of us know that these credit card numbers are constantly being bought and sold on the dark web. There is nothing for these people to take hold of if everyone is transacting with coins. You have private wallet addresses, sure. But you can’t pay for something in a private wallet address. I have said before, paying for something in Litecoin was a very pleasant experience. They gave me a QR code, I snapped it with my smartphone, and the transaction was done. No expiration dates or CVC codes being inputted into websites/swiped over and over again.
American Regulations
As it stands, the true way in America to offer a coin is through a regulation D offering. Regulation D offerings cannot be listed on crypto exchanges, and accredited investors must only exchange it with other accredited investors. The Regulation D offering legal fees range in the 6 Figures (priced in USD). This is called a barrier to entry. Millennials have not had access to high paying jobs yet, as only 16% have saved more than $100,000 in some capacity. They aren’t going to blow it all on an ICO regulation fee.
This is what led me to see how drastically different other countries were handling blockchain technology and its use cases. My first stop in Singapore was refreshing! They were actively trying to encourage blockchain in their financial services sector through federal incentive programs (ITMs). With a population of roughly 5 million, they have the ability to adapt to change very quickly. Their prime minister is close to holding a weekly talk show on the subject. In my opinion, this country would be very hard to beat in terms of favorable conditions for cryptocurrency investors and investments.
My next stop is Switzerland. The country that many have considered a haven for all things banking and discretion, Switzerland has been the trusted holder of valuable things for hundreds of years. Their history in global banking is what makes them such an interesting choice for an ICO. As a politically neutral country, they have the ability to connect many financial pieces that other countries are too emotional to do. Cryptocurrency seems to be flourishing within Switzerland, giving rise to the first Crypto Valley.
Background
The first modern Swiss banks were established in 1741 to manage the wealth of Swiss mercenaries (fought for foreign armies for pay) and merchants. Some of the banks are still recognizable on hedge fund DDQs – Lombard Odier (1796) and Pictet Group (1805).
Today, the banking industry accounts for 11.6% of GDP, and employs over 100,000 people both domestically and abroad. It is estimated in 2016 the Swiss banking sector managed over $6 trillion dollars in a variety of different account types and instruments. In 2007, that figure was $2.7 trillion – a record in those days. Countries around the world rely on Switzerland so much, they decided to make it all of their hubs. The Bank of International Settlements acts as the conduit between all member central banks. It was founded and headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.
The country’s formal relationship with cryptocurrency began in 2013 and has since evolved into a set of ICO rules that were provided to us 2/2018 by FINMA, the regulatory watchdog of Switzerland. Blockchain has shown to be of great interest to the country, as there are plenty of things that I am sure they would like to enhance about their banking and transaction processes with an AUM of over $6 trillion.
Legal Rules
Banking Law of 1934
The law that made everyone love Switzerland was passed in 1934. These laws made it a criminal act to reveal the name of a bank account holder. The bank accounts are numbered, and they reserve the right never to reveal the identity of an account holder to tax authorities or foreign regulators. Also conveniently in Swiss law is the difference between tax evasion versus tax fraud. To put it simply, they believed the former was tolerable.
This law was challenged in 2007 after whistle blower Bradley Birkenfeld outlined just how large Switzerland’s underground economy was becoming. His report showed the UBS was actively soliciting tax evasion strategies to American clients, even going as far as bringing encrypted computers into the country.
The aftermath caused Switzerland to make the unprecedented decision to provide documentation via UBS of thousands of tax evaders from the United States. Over time, the G20 countries led the charge to demand treaties to be signed with Switzerland to cooperate with tax regulators, and to abolish the differences between tax evasion and fraud. The United States eventually left the final blow for themselves, in which they forced a new Swiss law in 2014 to make bankers work with tax authorities according to Foreign Account Compliance Act.
The regulatory body that was born out of debate was the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In their Mission Statement they encourage “soft laws,” but treaties may be necessary. Clearly, that was the case for the Swiss. Now the focus has shifted to the new place for foreigners to take their money and hide it: Singapore. That will be wishful thinking, as Singapore’s response to the global community was to enhance security measures to protect client identities, not limit it. Overall, the global game of hide and seek continues.
Regulators
FINMA
This is eerily similar to MAS in Singapore. Enacted in 2007, FINMA merged all financial regulation under one roof to provide a unified front for the entire industry within the country. Because UBS and Credit Suisse are so vital to the country’s economy, they have dedicated teams working with each company to ensure there is an open dialogue between the government to resolve issues immediately. The trend with these crypto-friendly countries is they have one single regulatory body.
An example of their nimble structure was in the UBS tax evasion scandal. FIMMA was entrusted by the Swiss government to be the intermediary between UBS and the US Government. They dictated the terms of providing names of US citizen tax evaders. FINMA was eventually halted by a Swiss administrative court from releasing all names, but this tale is for future reference on just how much power they have within the country to dictate outcomes.
The U.S. has more than five regulatory bodies, all of which need funding and a seat at the table. With such a rapid development like cryptocurrency, I am always looking at how many agencies have power over it. The FBI shut down Mt. Gox, the SEC has handed out subpoenas to ICOs and Hedge Funds, and the IRS has gone after Coinbase. I could keep going. Each one needs their head on a stick to bring back for the meeting on budgets for the next year. Those heads on a stick are presented to people who have been running campaigns on bank money since the start of their careers, clearly this system isn’t going to produce innovative financial infrastructures before countries like Singapore and Switzerland.
VQF
The SRO who seems to be taking the lead on cryptocurrency within the country. They were established in 1998 in Zug to oversee and educate anti-money laundering practices within the country. Read the following for more:
“In addition, since 2009 the VQF has also exercised the function of an Industry Organisation for Asset Managers (BOVV) with professional rules of conduct officially recognised by FINMA. As such, the VQF contributes towards protecting and strengthening the interests of financial intermediaries and their investors, as well as the interests of Switzerland as a financial centre.”
Their role changed in 2009, now gaining the ability to oversee and regulate financial intermediaries and their investors. The laws were almost designed for blockchain and ICO regulation. According to FINMA rules, you must either be under their direct supervision, or an SRO’s. This SRO seems to be very crypto-friendly. Their main concern is Anti Money Laundering, and other than that they are not designed to intervene.
Government Timeline
2013
Spring/Fall
Niklas Nikolajsen founded Bitcoin Suisse AG, a bank, wealth manager, and service provider for the cryptocurrency community within the country. Based out of Zug, Switzerland, Bitcoin Suisse is the first company regulated under VQF. This was an unprecedented decision by the SRO to allow digital asset banking to be conducted in the country, especially when you take into account the immaturity of the market at the time. Bitcoin Suisse also had a network of ATMs that were within Zurich, but remained offline until full government approval (ATMs were approved by FINMA).
Winter
The government of Switzerland considered adding bitcoin to its list of foreign currencies allowed to be transacted within the country. This would ensure Bitcoin Suisse’s perpetual existence within the country, along with giving the government powers to regulate it as such.
2014
June
In response to the postulates (requests for information) from parliament, the Swiss Federal Council stated that virtual currencies are “not in a legal vacuum” and their regulation was not needed at this time. To me, this was an even better answer than what the pro-bitcoin people were hoping for. The government was going to allow this all to pan out before definitions and labels
2015
Franz Gruter, a Swiss Parliament official, filed multiple motions to change the definition of a bank to make it easier for cryptocurrency companies to do business. His main point of contact was Xapo (Wallet provider) CEO Wences Cesares, who was working with regulators on moving his business to the country. For half of 2015, Gruter kept his motions live. This was in annoyance of the government, who repeatedly told him they were not interested in making such large changes.
In June, Cesares and Gruter were approached by FINMA personnel who told them that they would soon be releasing regulations that were designed to open up the barriers to entry for blockchain company operations. Gruter rescinded his motions.
FINMA did not disappoint. They began to offer “fin-tech licenses” to businesses, with capital requirements of $300,000 to remain within compliance. The rules of Fin-tech licenses? Here is FINMA’s response:
“Leaving institutions free to implement the requirements in a way that takes account of their differing business models and of the particular risks associated with them.”
Couldn’t get more free and open than that, can you?
2016
The local government in Zug, Switzerland proved to be the first city that wanted in on the revenue that blockchain companies were beginning to produce. In an effort to appeal to the nature of a “de-centralized” utopia, they began to accept up to 200 CHF in Bitcoin to pay for government services. There were only 10-15 transactions within the year, but this was the marketing piece that Zug needed early on to attract talent.
CODE is Born
Centrally Organized Distributed Entity, or CODE, was created by a consortium of blockchain professionals now living in Switzerland. The focus was to try to create a legally complaint ICO framework that FINMA/VQF would approve as a legal way to operate. The Ethereum Foundation, Consensys Project, and Zug law firm MME were the co-authors. By the end of 2016, there were 12 projects using the CODE framework to operate their blockchain companies in Switzerland.
2017
Crypto Valley Assocation
The same folks who created CODE wanted to formalize it. This consortium of cryptocurrency and blockchain professionals were getting country-wide support from FINMA, VQF, the Swiss Government, and the many different entrepreneurs now working within their framework. The result was the Crypto Valley Association. Their website describes the launch in the following terms:
“In January 2017 the Crypto Valley Association was established as a professional organization to coordinate, accelerate, and scale the further development of Crypto Valley into the world’s best ecosystem for crypto technologies and businesses. The founding members included Bitcoin Suisse, Bussmann Advisory, iprotus, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Luxoft, Monetas, and Thomson Reuters.”
The Swiss incumbents were able to create something very quickly that the government accepted. This association would be the conduit between the blockchain community and government officials that were trying to regulate them. This does NOT exist in any other country, especially in this type of format. The Swiss listen to their citizens. They want to help.
Personal Taxes
The government clarified once again that they would be joining Spain in saying that Bitcoin is not subject to VAT. The opinion of accountants in December 2017 is that all cryptocurrencies would not be subject to capital gains, but they would also not be able to report losses as well. The government still deemed it to be a reportable asset on tax bills each year. American taxation is still supposed to be charged at full capital gains rates.
2018
January
With more than 500 individual and corporate partners apart of CVA, it was time to upgrade CODE ICO Procedures into something more formal. In January 2018, CVA produced the updated code of conduct for all Swiss cryptocurrency and blockchain companies. Although not explicitly said, this was approved FINMA, who has been working with CVA exclusively on regulation. The following quote from the Crypto Valley Association provides more:
“The Code calls on all organizations running an ICO to be fully transparent about all details pertaining to the process. Importantly, these details should be disclosed in a manner that can be easily understood even by those that are not technologically sophisticated. This includes being clear about how funds raised are intended to be used and how the token will function, as well as providing a clear risk assessment for the underlying technology.”
This is the widely accepted definition of a utility token. They want to make sure KYC and AML procedures are bank-level quality, but they are widely accepting global crowdfunding. If this code of conduct remains, it will be one of the most liberal interpretations of digital currency, especially with no capital gains taxes in the secondary market!
February/March
When any country like the U.S. begins to crack down on cryptocurrency, it prompts all of the other countries to re-evaluate their positions. One Swiss Finance Minister even said “I am just waiting for Washington to call Bern and ask what the hell we are doing in Zug.” The CVA has remained strong, and the government has not tried to disrupt the framework that they are building alongside regulators.
In February, FINMA came out with their own ICO guidance for companies that were interested in starting in the country. Still having an autonomous feel, the agency defined three different tokens, which are as follows:
Payment tokens are synonymous with cryptocurrencies and have no further functions or links to other development projects. Tokens may in some cases only develop the necessary functionality and become accepted as a means of payment over a period of time.
Utility tokens are tokens which are intended to provide digital access to an application or service.
Asset tokens represent assets such as participations in real physical underlyings, companies, or earnings streams, or an entitlement to dividends or interest payments. In terms of their economic function, the tokens are analogous to equities, bonds or derivatives.
In true Swiss fashion, FINMA let the door open just like its difference between “Tax Fraud” and “Tax Evasion.” They wanted utility tokens to still have a chance to be offered, but also needed to differentiate between coins that were blatantly either tied to hard assets or only for means of payment.
Conclusion
Swiss regulators have been doing cryptocurrency related work for years now. Each industry within the country has FINMA as its parent, but also has the freedom to work under direct guidance of an SRO that wants them to make money. VQF AND CVA are the two main contributors to policy in the country, and I can only hope that remains. These people aren’t trying to create a decentralized world filled with Monero and money laundering. They are just trying to conduct their businesses to serve the needs of a gigantic population struggling to find a home.
The differences between Switzerland and Singapore are surprisingly pretty large. MAS is not of the same level of intimacy as VQF. The SRO is literally located in Zug, and their indirect job is to keep the crypto guys happy. I like the level of care Swiss authorities have put into not only their regulation, but their dialogue. The 20 year-old genius from Russia, Vitalik Buterin, was immediately welcomed into the country via the Ethereum Foundation, and given an opportunity to give his opinion on how token offerings ought to be conducted. That type of outreach is not common, especially during blockchain infancy in 2014.
If I had to choose between the two, I would choose Singapore if I was not living there, and Switzerland if I was. Singapore just recently upgraded their account holder secrecy laws, and their ICO structure is purposely free-wheeling. They only care about AML and KYC. It seems as if Switzerland is being forced to regulate incrementally more, as their relationship with the United States is a crucial one.
On the other side of the coin (no pun intended), Switzerland’s infrastructure is designed to be resilient, and the amount of support you would get in a community like Zug is like nothing Singapore can offer right now. This isn’t just a meet-up group at a high end hotel; CVA is a quasi-regulatory body headed by the same people who started the blockchain commerce boom. It is an awfully good group to be close to during your design and implementation process.
This is not a recommendation to buy or sell cryptocurrency. Market looks like crap right now anyway. Please be safe, and always be on the lookout for government announcements. These are what is really affecting the market right now, and it is best to be prepared. Best of luck- @raijincrypto.
