I love @opalthefluffmaker’s [REDACTED] design! It’s the only one besides my own (and some other guy on here but i can’t for the life of me find them again) who has scribbles obscuring their face so of course i had to draw mine and her’s interacting!

“H-H-Huh??” Mikan stares for a moment in disbelief. After re-reading the message a few times to make sure this wasn’t a cruel joke, her face burned and tears pricked at her eyes.

“Hhhhnnn....” She whined, pathetically. The nurse wanted so badly to reject these compliments, but... she was trying to get better. It’s okay. They’re not making fun of you. They might mean it. They might.. maybe. It’s okay. “T-Thank you very much...” Her voice came out softly, fighting the urge to continue talking about how she didn’t deserve this. Baby steps.

I don’t think the despair stuff was what they were referring to. Nagito’s been through a lot of childhood trauma, and while there is no excuse to hurt innocent people, you have to understand everything he was put through even before Hope’s Peak and the Neo World Program.

“I know his backstory. I know everything about all of my classmates. Hajime went through a lot too, but he doesn’t act like that. Besides, I said it’s not a bad thing that he’s weird. Just when he tries to hurt people. But him being weird on its’ own isn’t bad. Mikan and Hiyoko and Kazuichi are weird but I like them. They’re not bad. I know I’m weird too, because most people probably don’t play video games so much that they forget to eat or sleep or even breathe.”
