I finally reworked my beloved Monster High OC! I figured with gen3 of Monster High being a thing that it would be fun to totally remake Oozie. Part of me wanted to remake her because I made her original doll in 2016/17 and I’ve definitely grown as an artist since then. I also wanted to remake her since it’s been a hot minute since I made a custom doll. My new Oozie is on a gen3 body and I gave her a full reroot. I like to think this version of Oozie is lowkey obsessed with normie conspiracy theories (birds aren’t real is her fav absurd theory). She’s still clumsy as hell and enjoys anything artsy. It’d be fun to draw my new version of her with the typical little MH bio to go with, but I can’t promise I’ll get around to that.

So shes part maori (my culture ethnicity)part taniwha & part demi goddess her tipuna are from a long line of Tohunga.. she has been around for 100s of years she is lives in the time of jst after settlers arrived in Aotearoa..Even so her magic enables her to travel back & forth in time so she has abundant knowledge of many people & things,she prefers her own era of the 1800s... she carries her potion spoon her red Tiki magic Rakau (wand) and her bottemless bag of magic,not to be trifled with she will also eat you for dinner if shes crossed..,its her lizard lineage that makes her ferral that way..

This is one of my top favorite dolls that I have ever customized. She was originally a Howleen, I rooted her hair with fun colored yarn and gave her the cool multi-eyes and it was one of those stream of consciousness customs that just happily comes together. And a couple of days ago, some wonderful person bought her off of my Etsy store 😭

I am so grateful for the support, happy to know that someone loved her enough to spend the money to buy her. But man I will miss her
