BREATH  IS  RAGGED  AND  STUTTERS  THROUGH  GRITTING  TEETH.  one  arm,  shaking  with  more  cuts  and  bruises  hidden  beneath  sleeves,  does  its  best  to  grasp  around  three  large  slices  ranging  from  the  hip  to  stomach  while  violent  red  seeps  through  usually  dark  robes.  the  walk  to  kenobi  is  slow,  quinlan  hunches  over  himself  with  a  grimace  tugging  his  features  ;  yet,  he  attempts  at  his  usual  charm  towards  the  other  jedi,  appearing  like  he  wasn’t  worse  for  wear.

❛  dunno’  what  you’re  talking  about,  kenobi,  this  is  my  usual  look.  ❜   he  replies  with  a  strained  tone,  now  almost  at  the  other.  in  reality,  a  mission  given  by  the  council  to  track  a  lowlife  had  gone  exceedingly  wrong,  like  it  was  doomed  right  from  the  get-go.  EVEN  THOUGH  TRACKING  WAS  A  SECOND  NATURE  TO  HIM  it  had  started  off  all  too  easy  ----  he  should  have  listened  to  his  own  instincts.  perhaps  it  was  his  ego,  maybe  it  was  because  he  wanted  it  to  be  easy,  but  those  screaming  thoughts  had  been  pushed  to  the  back  of  his  mind  and  now  he’s  paying  the  price.  they  had  been  waiting  for  him,  and  a  group  of  ten  mugged  and  beaten  him  mid-tracking  when  distracted  with  his  psychometry. 

he  had  let  his  guard  down.  

body  now  beginning  to  succumb  to  the  ever  growing  tiredness,  quinlan’s  energy  starts  to  drop  dangerously.  it’s  the  last  thing  he  wants  to  do,  but  when  he  finally  reaches  obi-wan  his  free  hand  roughly  clasps  his  shoulder,  groaning.   ❛  don’t  think  you  could  help  me  get  to  the  infirmary,  could  you  ?  ❜
