7 years sober and clean 🏋️‍♂️ Some of you know or may not know I will have 7 years sober on 5/31/23. I know that a lot of you struggle with different types of addictions 💪 I can pretty much get addicted to any drug, money, food or person. Anything that makes me feel good. I always have to check myself each day to remember how I felt before I was sober and how bad it was. I always ask myself. Am I getting too much of one thing and obsessing about it? Then I ask, why am I obsessing about it? Usually the answer is inside myself. Maybe I'm depressed. Maybe things are not going the way I think they should. I may need to talk to a friend or mentor to help me sort things out. I don't ever try to figure it out alone because usually I will continue to obsess. If you feel like this sometime or a lot. When I ask my clients to name 5 things they will do, they come up with something like: I’ll fix my schedule, I’ll go swimming, and be more social. Oh seriously? That’s everything you can come up with? You could have done all these things yesterday. Let’s check being happy and healthy. You could be happy today you chose not to. And healthy? Whom are you kidding? If it’s not a matter of life and death human beings don’t change. All the mentioned above is not enough motivation for your brain to change. Transformation and change is very energy consuming activity so you better come up with something more solid than that. Why I Created My Program 🏋️‍♂️ I saw men that gave up on their body's once they hit 40 years old. Obesity was common and I was tired of watching people being unhealthy because of their day-to-day choices of food and lifestyle. I want to change lives. When men give up on their body then their mind gets depressed, and they cannot get out of it without help. I wanted to help people get out of their negative thinking that kept bringing them down. I helped some of these clients that I trained lose close to 100 pounds. Their depression is better. They started dating and their sex life has improved. They are confident and productive again. Once all this happened their quality of life improved. They are much happier now. 3 major mistakes people do when they want to change 1. Changing everything instead of changing one thing and implementing the change gradually. The first job of our brain is survival, and if you put too much challenge on yourself your brain will go into survival mode and fight you not to change because change will be perceived as a thread. 2. Assuming your plan will work. It might not. Ask yourself - is your plan going to work on your worst day or your worst week or you made your plan for ideal circumstances? 3. Waiting for the perfect moment to implement your ideal plan. Waiting for the next day, next week, next year to start. Waiting for the perfect hour. Let me tell you there’s no major difference between starting at 6am on the 1st of January and 6pm on the 2nd of January.
