Alright let's go, DPxDC ideas that won't let me sleep part two electric boogaloo
There is a universe out there where none of the 4 major Robins made it alive long enough to become Robin. Dick Grayson died flying with his parents, Jason Todd died on the streets in the year after his mother died and before Bruce picked him up, Tim died alone in his house due to parental neglect, and Damian died by Ra's blade, having failed to meet his expectations
Dick, being lighter, sees his parents die before he does, and has just enough time to regret not living longer with them. Jason just wanted a better life. Tim wanted to live with someone loving him back. Damian wanted to be good enough. They have just enough regrets to become ghosts.
In his lair that takes on the shape of a cozy but forever empty apartment, Jason feels alone without his mom. He goes out occasionally and finds a sad new ghost in a mausoleum of a house lair, and decides to bring him home. Soon after they find a traveling ghost who doesn't like his own lair of a lively circus full of people and animals made by his own memories, full of everything but his own parents. They adopt him too. Dick goes back to his lair occasionally, and there he finds a kid petting all the docile lions and winged horses, and after he befriends him through a few encounters discovers the kid hates his own lair so much he won't ever return there, and so he is adopted on the spot too.
Now enough of the sad backstory, because this is a story about four 5-9y olds becoming semi-powerful ghosts, all crammed into one apartment and also owning a circus and a mansion lair as their playground
Anyway each day begins with the simulated equivalent of ghost sleep, which Dick interrupts by vaulting himself onto the cuddle pile because "it's morning! let's go!" ("There is no fucking morning or evening or day or night here you fuckwad!") followed by Damian swinging his swords at the backflipping heathen, while Jason makes coffee to beckon Tim out of the sheets
Days consist of watching sitcoms, plundering Tim's lair for human-like tasty food and swinging from the chandeliers, visiting the circus for fun, and sometimes taking winged horses and tigers out to terrorize the GZ
Most times they just have fun, but sometimes they set their sights on something from another ghost, go WOAH and decide they MUST HAVE THAT
And then they become a scarily efficient team
Damian is the leader, already taught how to lead units, now with the added incentive of wanting all his brothers to do their best and complete a mission objective that is completely in their own interests
Tim is the smart one, quickly developing from a lonely to calculating ghost effortlessly building gadgets or hacking Technus' ones to offer support and a bit of mad genius
Jason is the mother hen, but also the one crazy motherfucker who will bring out explosives out of fucking nowhere to fuck you up. He is responsible and carries absolutely EVERYTHING on his person because you never know when you'll need it, and he is NOT AFRAID TO USE IT
And while the three of them are one savage combination, Dick's there to provide the fun and lightheartedness, offer quips that the others soon return and turn into constant banter, make inside jokes and get the others to high five as a team dynamic, all the while displaying a high level of body manipulation, not just flipping or contorting but straight turning his body plasticman style through bars or door locks because why not
They don't often go out, but sometimes they do and they see something and then they're stashing a giant robodog from Technus in Tim's mansion (Damian names him Ming, because he especially loves smashing the Ming vases), a hi-tech ghost core analyzer from Far Frozen (it was Tim's deathday), Walker's hat (Jason: ACAB 🤠) or a whole chunk of forest from Skulker's island because Dick wanted a backyard (Skulker: hOW EVEN)
On one occasion they straight up steal Wulf from Walker's prison because Damian wanted to pet him, and Wulf just chills there sometimes before going out again. They also occasionally steal Skulker's animals and Technus' gadgets, just because, and Damian sometimes plays with Cujo. They're also friends with Youngblood, but draw the line at going to the human world with him
They don't leave the GZ when the Fenton portal opens because they don't have anything tying them there any longer, and also there's plenty to do where they are
They also love it when ghosts try to retaliate because that's just a fun day to them, to defend Tim's lair of stolen goods (bc Jason's apartment is a secret and they all pretend like Tim's lair is their joint one), spring one or all of them out of prison, fight off specific ghosts or bribe Pandora's hydra and cerberus with snacks to let them go and play fetch. This is probably why everyone just sighs and lets their shenangans go
Danny doesn't actually meet them until he becomes Ghost King and the Fright Knight just straight up disappears one day. He asks around and Ember leads him to Tim's lair where they find him putting on a show of battling the robodog valiantly while the four kids watch from the sides and cheer. Turns out they kidnap Fright Knight often and let him go when he's entertained them enough, and the robodog is mecha enough not to be pulled into the nightmare dimension (the one time Fright Knight sent on of the boys there he regretted it immediately and decided he will never get on their bad side again)
Anyway Danny looks at the team dynamic, looks at Ember and understandably says:
"I didn't know the Ghost Zone has its own version of Madagascar penguins."
Ember: *longsuffering sigh of someone whose leather jackets go missing way too often*
Jason: "Thanks for the flattery but we're actually the... Ghost Zone Robins!" *everyone strikes a pose they had way too much time to rehearse*
Ember: more like Ghost Zone magpies
Anyway long story short Danny begs them to be his royal guard, ancients know they're better at it and more fun than the stuck up Fright Knight, who actually relaxes a little with the little shits around
And that is the story of how Ghost King Danny has Madagascar penguins ghost Robins to guard him Madagascar penguin Robin-team style, and in return the GZ collectively breaths a sigh of relief as the little shits are distracted from their usual tomfoolery
Anyway over in another DPxDC universe where Danny is barely entering grade school and Pariah Dark still slumbers, a cult decides to summon the ghost king from another dimension and enslave him in the fight again the Justice League. They don't enslave him but they do trap him, and while the League and Bats fight it out, Danny looks on in boredom and wonders how long it will take Tim to figure out dimension travel and for his royal guard to burst in and ruin everyone's day

Government name vs Military callsign
Prompt: What scares them worse? Addressing them by their full government name, or addressing them by their military callsign?
Featuring: Task Force 141 (CoD: MW2) - John Price, Simon "Ghost" Riley, Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, Johnny "Soap" MacTavish (separately) x GN!Reader
Word Count: 0.9k
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
John Price
Government name.
Calling him Captain or Skipper just ends with him sauntering to where ever you are and ask (in an obnoxiously self-satisfied voice) what you wanted. Like a cat pretending it can’t hear the urgency in your tone when you say to get off the counter.
“If you want me to ‘shake a leg’, call my name, luvie.”
Now if you holler “Jonathan Price”, he’ll drop something. Either the newspaper in his hands, or his heart into his stomach. He sure as hell moves his ass with a purpose, and he’s peering into the room with an apology on his lips.
“Yes, luv? What’s wrong, poppet?”
“Lift the other end of the couch, would you?”
He does, and you shimmy it further back in the room. “Anything else I can do, love o’ my life?” He’s hovering, and gently coaxing you into his arms. Gauging how mad you were at him. You curled into him and kissed his chin. Then stepped away with a pat to his chest.
“No, sweetheart, just wanted you to shake a leg is all.”
When he remembers your previous conversation, he groans and tells you to fuck off.
Tumblr media
Simon Riley
Military callsign.
When you two are alone, and he’s already given you permission to call him Simon, don’t call him Ghost. When you say that word, he assumes one of his mates are at the door or on the phone, and goes from Simon to Ghost. Stalks into the room with narrowed eyes, only to find you in the kitchen. By yourself.
“Ghost, you want a sandwich too? Turkey and cheese.”
“Fuck you callin’ me that for?”
Once he sees you’re alone, he swoops in and wraps around you like a hoodie. A firm kiss to your ear, then your cheek, then spun you around. Back pressed to the counter top. Settles his face right close to yours.
“We playin’ games now?” You didn’t want to upset him, so you pressed a kiss to his nose. His grumpy look faded a bit.
“Sorry, baby.” Arms wrapped carefully around his shoulders. And your fingers scratch his scalp. Another kiss to his nose. “I’m sorry for playing games with you. Simon Riley.”
Hearing his name on your lips finally cracked, and he gave you a smile. A little scar on the upper lip. You gave it a kiss, and then pressed a kiss to his lips.
A quick surge forward, and you only just had time to shove aside the things behind you before you found yourself on the countertop.
Tumblr media
Kyle Garrick
Government name.
He doesn’t mind being called Gaz, and you’ll use Kyle and Gaz interchangeably. Doesn’t even mind if you use “Kyle” or “honey” in front of his squadmates. Though “Kylie” he does have some displeasure with.
“I’ll have you know, Soap is still calling me Kylie, you asshole.”
Call him ‘Garrick’, and he knows that you are pretending to be mad at him. He slinks over and rubs his face against your cheek. He’s too cute for you to stay mad.
If you shout “Kyle Garrick”, he comes running. He could have sworn that he put his clothes in the hamper. And did the dishes. And taken out the recycling. Damn, what was it that he forgot?
“Kyle Ga-”
“Yes, dear!” Shit, he didn’t mean to ‘yes, dear’ you. “Yes, my dear, I’m right here.”
You pause your laundry folding and summon him with a crook of your finger. Once he’s close enough, you tap your lip with the same finger. “I need a kiss.”
He blinked once. Then twice. “God damn you.” He squishes your face in his hands and gave you a quick, firm kiss. “Don’t stress me out like that. Thought you were mad.”
“Give me another kiss, or I will be.”
He rapid fire kissed your mouth, chin, and cheeks, then gave you a smack on the ass before returning to the living room.
“In my own fucking home,” he muttered.
Tumblr media
John MacTavish
Military callsign.
He’s got some thick skin. And he’s had his name shouted angrily many a time. He would all but skip into the room with a big smile on his face. The only people who shouted that name (and wore out the scare-factor on it) were his family members. Shouting “John MacTavish” meant you loved him. You were also mad at him, but you loved him. That was more important. Even with your scowl and the gross pile of garbage he kept forgetting to take out. You loved him.
Now shouting his callsign reminded him of his superior officers.
“SOAP!”
Shit shit shit. He put down his beer and ran from the garage to the backyard. Leg brace over his sweats, low cut muscle shirt that you also wolf-whistle at when he wears. You were only weeding the garden boxes.
“JOHNNY!”
“I’m here, bonnie,” he hollered, rounding the corner. You were sitting in the dirt, a tidy pile of weeds and dead plant bits next to you.
“C’mere, c’mere.”
He leaned down next to you, hand on your shoulder and good knee on the ground. “Wassit?”
You pointed to the leaf in your hand. “A caterpillar, Johnny. An itsy-bitsy caterpillar.”
He sighed heavily and kissed your shoulder. “Bonnie, I thought something was wrong.”
“Hm?” You spared him a glance. “What are you talking about, bubba?”
“You called me Soap.”
“Did I? Didn’t mean to spook you, loverboy.” You gave him an apologetic kiss on the lips. “Just wanted you to see the caterpillar before he wiggled off.”

Thinking about Jealous Baby daddy! Miguel O'Hara who seems grumpier during the next custody swap the following week. A permanent scowl etched on his face as he crosses his arms over his chest while leaning against his car. Only answer in a grumble when you asked what’s wrong, wanting to see if you’d mentioned anything about the date you went on, acting as if he didn’t know about it. You didn’t.
Jealous baby daddy!Miguel starts to probe any info about your new suiter from Gabriella whenever he can during his weeks with her, wanting to see if it was only a fling or if it had any potential to turn into something serious. Huffing when his daughter starts to tease him about it when she notices he starts to be asking about it too often, denying her claims of him “having a crush” on mommy again, him trying to defend himself to the 10 year old by saying he only wanted to make sure that the guy wasn’t a jerk.
It didn’t matter if he was the nicest man on earth though, Miguel wasn’t gonna like him either way.
Jealous baby daddy!Miguel who finally cracked and “casually” mentioned to you that Gabi has been making comments about you seeing someone as of recently during one of her games and “accidentally” forgot to mention that he’s been basically interrogating your girl about him. Purposely leaning in a bit closer as he whispered into your ear while you both sat on the metal bleachers, fighting off an oncoming smirk from his lips when he noticed your shoulders tensing up and your cheeks growing warmer even if your eyes stayed on the field.
Jealous baby daddy!Miguel who purposely starts to get more touchy. Not in an inappropriate way, but in a smaller strategic way. Letting his fingertips linger a second too long against yours when he hands you Gabriella’s school bag, his thighs brushing against yours the whole time during a soccer game. Small things that he can dismiss if you try to confront him by saying you’re being silly, but he knows that it driving you crazy.
Jealous baby daddy!Miguel who suddenly starts sending you photos of you both in college when you were both dating before you had Gabi, saying he “stumbled across it” while cleaning.
“Okay, go get ready for bed, amor.” (Sweetie.)
“Si mami!” (Yes mom!)”
As the pitter patter of Gabriella’s blue crocs make their way over to the bathroom, you got up and off the couch to tidy up the mess of Barbies off from your living room carpet floor. While putting away the skipper doll back in the toy bin, you heard your phone vibrate on the couch, quickly placing it in the bin before standing up straight and dusting your hands off to go see who texted you, expecting it to be the guy you're talking to.
To your surprise though, Miguel’s name was popping up instead, with a raised brow you go to open the message. Your face of mild confusion turns into one of a small look of nostalgia.
“Look what I found while cleaning up my computer storage.” Was the message that accompanied the photo, you and Miguel, around 19 you’d like to say, in a candid shot one of your friends took of you both, you playfully smuggling some ice cream on the side of his cheek while you both laugh.
“Mom! I’m ready!” Your daughter’s sudden call quickly took you out of your state of reminiscing, snapping you back to present time. Telling her you’d be right up as you close your phone and placed it back on the coach, but not before liking the message.

small intimate interactions II l.williamson x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this one might just be up there with some of my fave fics i've written so far small intimate interactions II l.williamson x reader
"can i help you with anything cheffy?" you turned to the voice of your best friend, meeting her beaming smile with one of amusement. "i don't know, can you?" you teased the older girl at her lack of culinary skills making her scoff and hold a hand to her chest in offence.
"i come in here offering myself and my services to you and you mock me, you know now i think you can do it all alone!" leah scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest and looking dramatically off into the distance, though she still made no move to leave the kitchen.
"and yet, here you still are." you grinned tossing a tea towel at the blonde which landed on her head. "ow! leah." you squealed as she flicked you with it, sending a sharp crack around the room and a mischievous smile in your direction.
"take the tray of chicken out of the oven please, if you can manage that." you teased her, turning back to what you had going on the stove. "yes chef!" leah saluted with a serious nod, grabbing the oven mits from beside you and doing as you'd asked, careful not to burn herself or drop what you'd spent the last couple of hours preparing.
"need a hand?" steph appeared next closely followed by jen, both girls looking at you with raised eyebrows as you flittered around the kitchen.
"if you could start taking everything out to the table and get the girls to take a seat would be great, thank you!" you smiled appreciatively, starting to dish everything else up and chuckling as you heard a strong scottish accent scream that dinner was ready from the table.
"i could have done that jen!" you laughed as the woman only grinned with a shrug, helping steph to carry everything out. "it all looks delicious, as always you've gone above and beyond. our little hostess with the mostess!" leah kissed at your cheek fondly causing them to heat up as you turned away from her, attempting to hide your blush.
the english skipper been your best friend for a few years now, having gravitated toward you from the very moment you moved from australia and signed with her beloved arsenal.
seeing your obvious nerves at joining the team and the lingering homesickness of moving so far away from everything you'd ever known she'd offered to help you get settled and given you your very first tour of london.
and once you got to know one another properly you followed each other like a shadow, one very rarely ever seen without the other much to the teasings of all of your friends about codependency issues.
the two of you had always had quite an affectionate friendship but it wasn't anything that raised any sort of red flag for you, after all you'd always been a touchy person with your close friends back home.
so you never thought anything of it when leahs hand would intertwine with yours as you'd walk somewhere together, or gently brush your thigh as you sat beside one another in the locker room, or even how closely the two of you would sit pressed together and practically on top of one another on the bus to games, avidly chattering away.
it didn't seem out of sorts when you'd cuddle up together when watching a movie or would have regular sleepovers and share the bed at one anothers homes, or when her long arms would wrap around your waist from behind and she'd cling to you tiredly after a particularly brutal training session.
the two of you would regularly mess around with one another, play fighting and pushing, poking and wrestling like hyperactive school children.
you'd often spend your sleepovers not even sleeping, instead laying down backwards on the bed, legs draped against the headboard and heads hanging off the edge of the mattress as you spoke about anything and everything, suffocated by your laughter at how utterly absurd your topics of conversation would become as time gradually ticked into the early hours of the morning.
it wasn't out of sorts for her warm lips to press fondly against your cheek or forehead, or for her slender fingers to tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear as you rambled on about something. in fact the english girl could read you like a book, always knowing exactly what you needed sometimes before you even knew yourself.
none of that felt weird for you, or at least it didn't until you'd gone out for a nice meal with a small handful of the girls after training one evening, though you were minus leah who was unwell and had headed right home to sleep.
it was then that steph had casually asked when you and the english skipper had started dating, sending you into a flustered spiral. you'd of course denied it right away and asked why the older girl had even thought that, your national teammate rapidly back peddling at her mistake and apologizing profusely at her assumption.
caitlin however had taken a much less apologetic approach, stating that it was obvious to absolutely everyone but you and leah that the two of you were clearly and hopelessly in love with one another.
katie and beth backing her up right away it sent your cheeks bright red and you'd left the restaurant early, needing some fresh air and to go home and sort out the immense wave of emotions which washed over you at the thought of loving your best friend as anything more than just that.
that was around a month ago and you'd tried your very best to push it to the back of your mind and carry on as you always had with the blonde.
though now things that once seemed like a comfortable second nature for you raised alarms that hadn't been there previously, leahs slender fingers tracing shapes on your bare legs as you watched a movie and they sat stretched across her lap. or her arm draped across the back of your shoulders as you curled into her side on the lounge, even just the lingering hugs you two shared at every greeting or goodbye that maybe lasted a minute or two too long to just be friendly.
each and every small intimate interaction left you reeling and your mind a disgustingly complicated mess of overthinking. you had no idea what you were going to do about it, especially given that you couldn't even work out within yourself how you felt about the blonde.
you'd always loved her, but the thought of being in love with her was a foreign and terrifying one, and something you avoided dwelling on at any and all costs.
it seemed easier that way, to just be in sheer denial of anything at all changing or shifting, to just carry on as you always had which was of course an impossible task.
it left you clouded with doubt and plagued with the ever prominent and growing fear that acknowledging any of this could mean losing leah all together, in every capacity.
"oh there's another tray in here, do you want me to take it out?" the taller girl realized as she went to close and turn off the oven. "oh those are yours! i almost forget, yeah if you could please." you nodded, flicking off the stove and quickly running the now empty pots under some cold water, leaving them by the sink to be dealt with later.
with eight hungry footballers in your home that you were about to feed and entertain you were sure you could whip them into an assembly line to help you clean up later.
a lot of you not having had the chance to spend any sort of quality time together since the season had commenced you'd invited a few of the girls around for a dinner party. you'd always adored hosting and cooking for those you treasured, it was one of the main ways you showcased your love, and your team mates were always the most grateful of guests.
after all as they often said the way to someones heart, was through their stomach.
"you made me smileys?" leah grinned in disbelief as she grabbed out the tray and her crystal blue eyes lit up at the sight of the much cultivated childhood food.
"yeah, i know you don't like most of this so i wanted to make sure you'd actually get something to eat." you glanced over your shoulder with a sincere smile, not an ounce of teasing in your tone as leahs cheeks now flushed bright red at the sweet gesture.
"i'd have eaten. i always love your cooking!" she defended, quickly turning around to move them onto a plate to hide her flushed cheeks.
"that's because i only cook things that i know you eat whenever you come over lee, your palette is like my four year old niece. though even she can handle some mayo." you teased, bumping your shoulder into leahs as you appeared beside her, moving the chicken onto a serving platter with some tongs.
"oh i miss her! can we facetime her again soon?" the blonde asked hopefully and you nodded, the young girl just as much a fan of leah as leah was of her, even though she'd only briefly met her when she was in australia for the world cup it seemed to be an instant connection.
"my mum keeps asking when you're going to actually come to australia for a proper visit and not just for something football related." you chuckled with a small shake of your head, the woman forever on your case about not having met half of the people you held dear in your second home, much as you tried to remind most of them had their own lives and families scattered across the world to spend their minimal time off with.
"i'm just waiting on an invitation." the older girl smiled teasingly as you smacked her on the shoulder. "please like you don't know you'd always be welcome, i'd love to show you round properly. sometimes i swear you know me better than i know myself, plus my family already adores you and they've only technically actually met you like twice that wasn't over the phone!" the words slipped casually off your tongue and in the moment you thought nothing of it, but the thought of your family accepting her and you showing her around what she knew was your favorite place in the whole world had sent leah spiraling.
"i do apologise for the lack of ham sandwiches tonight though, tesco was all out." you grinned, nodding for her to join you as you grabbed the last of the food and headed for the table where the rest of the girls were sat and ready, leah shaking it off as she followed you out.
"you guys seriously couldn't wait?" you laughed at how most of them had already dished themselves up a plate, placing down the chicken in the middle of the table as forks clashed to grab at it. "some of us did!" steph rolled her eyes gesturing to herself and viv who indeed had empty plates.
"your loss, it is delicious!" laura grinned among a mouthful of pasta, viv sternly telling her not to talk with food in her mouth before she and steph dished up for themselves and you took your seat in between leah and beth.
"oi why's leah get her own special food!" katie realised the small mountain of smileys on leahs plate in leus of any of the other sides with a scowl.
"cause she doesn't eat most of this." you answered for her with a shrug, smiling gratefully at jen who handed you back your plate piled high with food from the other end of the table. "so she gets special treatment cause she eats like a weeun?" katie rolled her eyes and tried to snatch one, your hand reaching out to swat the irishwoman away on leahs behalf.
"smileys! i've not had those in years." beth gasped as the table errupted over leahs seemingly controversial meal, the blonde covering her food protectively as multiple hands tried to snatch at it.
"did i not cook enough food for the rest of you that you all feel the need to complain about one tiny thing?" you called out loudly over the top of them with a raised eyebrow, the complaining ceasing and immediately replaced with a shower of compliments sent your way.
"much better." you grinned, shoveling a forkful of pasta into your mouth as everyone settled, normal chatter resuming as you all enjoyed one another's company.
"thank you, you're the best." leah murmured quietly, her hand landing on your thigh and squeezing gently, pressing a grateful kiss to your cheek before turning back to her conversation with laura.
the blush coating your cheeks didn't go unnoticed by your australian teammates, both sending you a knowingly smug smile as you glared back at them from across the table, kicking caitlin harshly in the shin as she began to make kissy faces at you.
"ow, fuck you!" the older girl hissed quietly, trying to kick back at you as you tucked your legs under your chair, her feet instead finding poor beths ankle who cursed her out for it.
the rest of dinner passed through rather uneventfully, and sure enough it didn't take much convincing to have them all band together to help you clean up afterwards, the group of you now gathered in your living room piled on top of one another.
"-please don't be in love with someone else! please don't have somebody waiting on you!" you and beth belted out, twirling one another around as you sang the rest of the chorus.
all of you far too wound up after dinner for a movie you'd opted to bust out the karaoke machine some the girls had bought you for your birthday earlier this year instead.
"I was enchanted to meet youu!' you sang loudly, handing the mic to steph and collapsing basically on top of leah as beth finished off the final two lines, the blonde serenading a very rosy and loved up looking viv.
"what a natural, you're really wasting your life away as a footballer my girl." leah teasingly fanned you as you posed, head dropping onto her shoulder. "god its exhausting being hot, funny and talented." you sighed dramatically as steph and katie were next up and started to sing cruel summer.
"at least we can tick humble off the list then." leah grinned down at you as you smacked her chest halfheartedly. "hey can i stay tonight? i don't think i can be bothered driving home and i've hardly seen you this week with my rehab amping up." leah asked quietly and you nodded without a moments hesitation, moving around so your head was in her lap and your legs draped over laura who sat wedged on the other side of you avidly chattering away to jen.
"you missss me!" you sung out with a grin, wiggling happily as the blonde rolled her eyes and forced a sigh. "i mostly miss your king size bed and massive tv, don't flatter yourself." the older girl pinched at your cheeks as you pulled faces up at her.
"you missed me too though, just a little." you held up your thumb and pointer finger leaving a decent gap in between. "more like-" leah pushed them closer together so there was hardly a gap as you gasped and leah tangled a hand in your hair with a soft smile.
"you wound me lee, and after i made you smileys and invited you oh so graciously into my home!" "i have a key so really i'd just let myself in if there was no invitation, plus you always eat all the snacks at my house so consider us even." "i do not! i'd like to contest that accusation." "i, the honourable judge williamson, hear your case and find you....guilty." "wow i don't even get a lawyer?" "you don't even get a phone call kid, lock her up boys!" "i would like to once again point out that i am only exactly eleven months younger than you leah catherine." "the key word here being....younger." "you're truly insufferable sometimes you know that?" "oo that was a big word, where'd we learn that one from?" "your mum actually, when we were speaking about you." "i'd love to argue that but really i'm quite certain she likes you more than me sometimes." leah sighed with a shake of her head, covering your smug looking face with her hand and shaking your head to and fro for a second before you pushed her off with a grin and a teasing wiggle of your eyebrows. "oh speaking of she wants you to come round for dinner soon, something about missing you? i can't relate though, she's not yet been around you enough to know how positively irritating you really are." "fighting words for someone who just asked to sleepover because she missed me." "i don't remember the words 'i miss you' ever actually leaving my mouth?" "crazy, i just heard them?"
"excuse me lovebirds, we're gonna head off!" your cheeky smiles both dropped at beth's words and leah frowned as you picked your head up out of her lap and quickly shuffled away as if burnt by her touch.
most of the girls all agreeing to head off after checking the time you were yanked out of the small bubble you'd previously occupied with leah, standing up and walking most of them out, leah hugging her friends goodbye before sitting back down on the lounge.
"you not leavin?" katie frowned, lingering behind as leah looked up from her phone and shook her head. "nah gonna crash here, i'm tired." the blonde shrugged, eyebrows furrowing at the look on the irishwomans face at her word.
"what? i stay here all the time." "i know...exactly my point." "and what is your point?" leah asked the brunette with a sigh.
"why don't you just tell that poor girl you love her? the two of you do this little dance around your feelings every day and surely thats exhausting?" katie crossed her arms over her chest as leahs face flushed with embrassment.
"i don't feel that way about her. i wish you'd all drop this you're making it weird between us and its not appreciated, she's my best mate!" leah denied with a firm shake of her head, though she knew the words leaving her lips was a filthy lie, and katie did too.
"yeah leah, she's your best mate so just talk to her. whats the harm in that? i see the way you look at one another, i really don't think you'll be left disappointed." the older girl smiled sincerely, squeezing her shoulder supportively and striding out of the room.
which left leah to sink back into the sofa with a deep and troubled sigh, alone with her thoughts as she dragged her hands down her face and tossed her phone beside her, her head swimming.
unbeknownst to the defender you'd been cornered in the kitchen and given a similar talking to by your national team mates, both girls like older sisters they'd known you for years and made an avid point of stating they'd never seen you look at someone the way you looked at leah.
and similar to katie they pushed you to just talk to her about it, affirming they saw the way you both interacted and it was obvious to everyone that neither of you were being honest with one another, and over time things would eventually boil over if that continued to be the case.
though shortly after you'd waved everyone off and shut your front door for the final time, dead bolting it and flicking off the lights one by one as you made your way back to the living room.
not even needing to ask leah was already on her feet and following you to your bedroom as the rest of the house was engulfed into darkness. "oh hello gorgeous." leah breathed out as she belly flopped into your bed, sighing as the memory foam melded perfectly to her body.
rolling your eyes at her you disappeared into your wardrobe, grabbing out some of leahs clothes from your drawers, the two of you having spent so much time at one anothers homes you had clothes and belongings littered everywhere at each place.
"oi!" leah yelled out as the bundle of material hit her in the face where she lay down on your bed, peeling the hoodie off her face and sending you a look of disdain as you only grinned and dipped into the bathroom to change and wash your face, leaving her to do the same.
both of you now changed you settled into your bed where leah had already loaded the wizard of oz on the tv, the movie a favourite of both of yours making you clap happily as leah clicked play.
after around a half hour you found yourselves already tangled with one another, not an uncommon occurrence as you'd grown to be incredibly comfortable around one another over the years.
leahs head resting on your sternum the older girl was entranced by the consistent rising and falling of your chest beneath her, one hand tucked under her head as the other sat dormant on your hip, pointer finger lightly stroking the slit of tanned skin where your shirt had ridden up slightly.
your left arm had slipped up the back of her hoodie, nails scratching gently at the bare skin of her back, your right hand lay tangled in her hair which she'd pulled up into a messy bun, absentmindedly tracing circles on the back of her neck with your thumb.
as much as leah was relaxed and would normally be humming along to each song as she could hear you doing, internally she was a flustered mess, shocking herself with how still she kept her body despite how freaked out she was by her conversation with katie.
it lead her to overthink every little interaction she'd had with you, worrying if she'd ever made you uncomfortable with the small intimacies you shared almost daily.
which then just lead her to stumble blindly down the path of how she felt at all the silent ways you showed one another how much you cared.
like the way you'd lean in and fix her collar when it was crooked on nights out, or how she would always grab your boots for you when you inevitably left them behind after training or games.
how you'd hold your hair up and ask leah to put on your most prized necklace for you after you'd had to take it off for a game, or the way you'd mess about with her fingers and twist her rings sometimes when she knew you were overwhelmed.
or how leah knew you would always underestimate how suddenly british weather could change, never bringing a jacket when you needed to so she made sure to always drape hers over you instead.
or how occasionally you'd demand leah stay still as you ever so gently collected a stray eyelash off her cheek, holding it out on your pinky and ordering her to make a wish before you'd blow it away with a soft smile.
so caught up in her thoughts leah hadn't even realised the movie had finished, only yanked back down into reality as you nudged her and called out her name. "you okay?" you asked her with a concerned frown, noticing she was clearly out of it as leah wordlessly nodded.
pulling her head off your chest you quickly withdrew your hands from her body, shuffling backwards a little as the two of you settled in your new positions, laid on your sides and looking right at one another.
"have i got something on my face?" you teased quietly at her staring, leahs lips curling into a smile. "no its ugly as ever don't worry." the blonde quipped with a smirk, flicking at your ear as you gasped and kicked her.
which suddenly jolted the pair of you from your previously calm and settled state, leahs cold hands tickling at your sides as your laughter echoed around the room making her grin. yanking them away you pinched at her hips, the two of you smacking and slapping one another around giggling manically like naughty kids, hushing one another as if worried you might be caught out and told off at a moments notice.
"no!" you grunted out with a laugh as leah tried to sit on top of you, her slender fingers digging into your ribs mercilessly with an evil smile. wiggling your body furiously beneath her you shoved her off, quickly straddling her hips right as the blondes back hit the mattress.
attempting to pin her hands down was a pointless task as the stronger girl interlinked your fingers and pressed your hands together, trying to throw you off of her as her knee pushed into your side, causing you to collapse back into the bed with a loud pelt of laughter.
both of you now struggling to breathe among your giggles you called a truce, chests heaving and faces flushed bright red from the rumble, leahs head turning to admire your side profile momentarily.
feeling her gaze on your cheek your eyes flickered sideways, meeting her curious look as your laughter slowly ceased and you found yourself lost in one anothers wondering orbs.
for once her mind finally quiet leah ever so slowly began to lean in, her eyes flittering between you and your lips.
your heart hammering in your chest you made no move to stop her as the two of you edged closer and closer into one anothers personal space.
your lips now just milimetres from one another you turned your head ever so slighty, your nose brushing against leahs as the blondes tongue ran across her lips somewhat apprehensively, eyes seeking out any sort of green light from you before she made her next move.
before you could withdraw your mind from its scattered places leahs arms were around you, her hold familiar and comforting. though at the close proximity of your nervous bodies you felt again the rush of helplessness, the sinking yielding, the surging tide of worry that what happened next could make or break the two of you.
"can i kiss you?" "please."
consent gained leah closed the tiny gap between you, rosy pink lips soft and alluring as they pressed against your own. leahs head spun at the dizzying sensation of her mouth molding perfectly with yours, ravishing in the feeling of kissing you.
her hand moved to rest on your cheek, palm rough and callous but her touch tender as you lent into it, tilting your head slightly as leahs breath caught at the new angle.
her tongue traced along your bottom lip, dipping in the small cracks and grooves, your lips slightly chapped but still so plump and inviting as they moved in rhythm against her own.
her insistent mouth was parting your shaking lips, sending wild tremors along the tips of your nerves, evoking from you sensations you had never known to be capable of feeling from the simple action as her tongue swirled around your mouth sending you into a silent frenzy.
you'd kissed people before obviously, but never ever had one plunged you into such a swimming giddiness that spun your head round and round, almost drowned in the overwhelming pleasure of the small but intimate act with someone you trusted so dearly.
then suddenly, lungs screaming and vision foggy you both surfaced for air, lips parting from one another with a slight pop as your chests heaved and your eyes scanned one another features for the first sign of any kind of reaction.
"we should talk about that." you were the first to speak, voice cracking slightly as leahs eyes dropped back down to your lips which seemed to be calling to her like a siren from the very moment they departed her own.
"yeah...we should."
though it seemed that was all that needed to be said as now much more feverishly your lips smashed into one anothers, your hands tangling in leahs hair as hers traced down the curvature of your back, drawing your body closer into her own as your bare legs tangled, kicking down the sheets exposing your bodies more to the chill of the brisk autumn evening.
and it seemed that without really needing to talk about it, the two of you had finally unlocked what would become the much more apparent act of intimacy between the two of you.
that wasn't to say future conversations wouldn't happen, but right now as your bodies began to greet one another in an entirely new fashion you'd both got the confirmation you'd been struggling for oh so desperately that the internal battle wasn't one sided.
and one day you'd lay down together and laugh that all it took was some stupid smiley face potatoes.

MELODIC HEALING

PAIRING clarisse la rue x apollodaughter!reader
IN WHICH clarisse and her siblings got a bit carried away during their sparing matches. lucky for clarisse, her girlfriend has gentle hands and a way with magic.
w/c : 1275
a/n : dior. that’s it… enjoy :)
sweat dripped from her brow as clarisse walked through camp. her siblings had ropped her into yet another sparing tournament which she won with ease. she was rather annoyed, to be frank. she loved her siblings, yes. she also loved battles. but she had plans to wake up early to properly freshen up and take her girlfriend for a walk after breakfast.
instead, she was awoken by the sound of an argument between her siblings; two of the newer members of the cabin arguing about gods knows what. that put her on a bad foot to begin with. she spent the time she could have had getting ready dealing with them and barking at them to clean up their mess. breakfast was anything but what she wanted. she scraped her offerings into the fire silently praying to her father to show up and tell her siblings off, before she walked back to her table where her brothers were beginning to arm wrestle.
one of their arms landed in her food and instead of yelling and knocking them right then and there, she slid her now squashed food away from her, stood up, and walked away.
when one of her sisters asked if she wanted to spar, she was already fuming with her cabin, so she agreed. it didn’t take long for all her siblings to be groaning on the floor, battered and bruised. clarisse stood tall above them, her face neutral and sweaty. she tossed her spear at her newest little brother, who caught it with ease. “make sure they see one of the apollo kids, or something.” and with that, she was off to find her apollo kid.
she heard her before she saw her. the sweet humming of her girlfriend brought a small smile onto the face of the daughter of ares. the apollo cabin came into view, and there she was, sitting with her older brother, will, and one of her new younger sisters. she was doing her hair, a variation of braids and twists that she somehow made look gorgeous.
her girlfriend was humming a tune as will laid beside her, an old, beaten cowboy hat covering his face and his green flannel covering his body as a blanket.
“…she brought this on herself with her desires. Your family will be stained, gotta walk away… now.” clarisse stood off to the side for a bit, listening to whatever melody her girlfriend was singing now, until she caught her eye.
a smile grew on the daughter of apollos face as she was sticking flowers in her sister's hair, but her smile faltered.
clarisse was quick to raise her hands, grazing her face with her fingertips. she winced as they made contact with the large gash she had forgotten about. she knew she was going to get an earful…
will groaned and raised his hat a bit, peeking out when his sister stopped her tune. he made eye contact with clarisse and the ever-noticeable mark on her face. he hissed, sitting up and gripping his flannel.
“come on, skipper. let’s leave sis with her uh…” will trailed off, deciding to leave it at that. he took his new little sisters' upper arms and pulled her up, managing to get her on his back. they quickly retreated into their cabin.
clarisse was careful with her steps, biting the inside of her cheeks.
this big, scary woman, looked up to by many campers and also feared by many campers, felt scared of her sweet little sunshine girlfriend…
who could probably kill her with a single note if she wanted to.
she mounted the steps, her girlfriend looking away from her as she tidied up the elastics and ribbons. her cowboy hat rested on the armrest of the rocking chair she sat in. it was a gift from will for her 18th. it matched her perfectly; a nice beige colour with a baby pink ribbon wrapped around it and tiny string embroidery of daisies and sunflowers.
she grabbed it gingerly and placed it over her wind-messed hair. she wordlessly stood up and looked at clarisse.
clarisse clenched her teeth into an awkward smile, “hey baby -”
“clarisse la rue.”
shit.
“hun, i’m sorry -”
“let me have a look at you,” the daughter of apollo whispered, coming up on her tiptoes and taking her girlfriend's face in between her hands. she turned it side to side, up and down, examining every inch.
clarisse allowed it, bending down and looking up to the sky. she knew how much the ray of sunshine hated when she fought others. whether it be verbal or physical, it didn’t matter. clarisse tried to stop the habit once they became official, but sometimes it was hard to avoid.
and since she hadn’t gone on any quest, she didn’t have a good reason this time.
the daughter of apollo took one of her girlfriend's hands, bringing her over and sitting her in the rocking chair she had been in only minutes ago. clarisse groaned as she sat, the aching of her muscles from this morning finally catching up to her.
she watched her girlfriend go inside her cabin and then come out with a little box she had grown to recognize as the official first aid kit of the apollo cabin. she knelt in front of her and gestured for her to lean forward, which clarisse did.
with no warning, she placed a cotton pad with alcohol on it to her cheek. clarisse flinched and hissed, the liquid feeling as though it was sizzling on her flesh.
“don’t be a baby,” her girlfriend whispered, hiding the little smile on her face as she looked down to grab another cotton pad.
“‘m not being a baby.” clarisse sounded like she was pouting. she would never act this way around anyone. but the girl in front of her brought out a completely different side of her.
she adored it.
clarisse closed her eyes, letting her girlfriend hum a small tune and the gash beginning to glow. it was like the scene from rapunzel- the movie clarisse was forced to see at gunpoint (gunpoint = her girlfriend's smile and puppy dog eyes).
she felt the wound begin to close in on itself. it was still a weird feeling, despite having experienced it many times before.
“there.” clarisse opened her eyes. the first aid kit was packed up and placed next to the entrance to the cabin. her cheek didn’t hurt anymore and all that remained was a faint scar that would heal by morning.
“thank you,” clarisse grinned but it didn’t help her situation. her girlfriend raised a brow, expecting her to explain.
she sighed and reached for her arm, her own calloused and bruised hand feeling as though it was tainting the delicacy of the sun gods daughter. “just a little tournament. had to let out some anger.” clarisse’ voice was low.
the daughter of apollo took a small step, her western-style cowboy boots clacking against the ground. both she and will came from southern families, but she never showed it until she got comfortable in camp. now she didn’t hide the slight ting of an accent she had or her love for the southern style.
“i don’t like it when you fight,” she said lowly, standing in front of clarisse and both her hands wrapped in hers. clarisse brought them up and grazed her lips on her knuckles, the faint smell of flower hand sanitizer filling her nose.
“i know… i’m sorry, sunshine.” when clarisse glanced up, her girlfriend was smiling down at her. just like the sun looked down on the earth.

Cruel Summer (Alessia Russo x Williamson!Reader)
Tumblr media
The lover series continues. Start with Part 1
It’s nice to have a friend
Within weeks, you and Alessia became old news. Some other couple, or some other star were the brunt of people’s jokes and the front page news.
And you were both absolutely fine with that.
But now that things were out there and you were starting to become serious, Alessia decided it would be the perfect time to introduce you to her best friend.
You vaguely knew Ella from her playing for England with Leah. But you had not met her before, not even a brief hello.
“Tooney, this is a really important night so please just act normal” Alessia groaned in the car looking at her best friend bouncing up and down in the seat beside her.
“I’m just so excited. You’ve never introduced me to anybody before” she beamed as Alessia laughed.
“I know, I know. But remember that you’re here for the week and tonight is not the night to interrogate her” Alessia reminded her.
“Fine” Ella scowled folding her arms as Alessia rolled her eyes before letting out a laugh at her best friend’s antics.
“I also really like her” Alessia blushed shyly, “so please” she pleaded again.
“Yes okay Lessi I’ll be on my best behaviour. I promise” Ella pledged, raising one hand up and planting the other on her chest.
Alessia pulled into the driveway of her and Leah’s shared home before Ella piped up again.
“When did you get the new car?” She asked as she got out and pulled her suitcase from the back.
“Christmas” Alessia mumbled.
“Present?” Ella asked with a smirk as Alessia rolled her eyes again.
“Lee, we’re here” Alessia shouted.
“Kitchen” Leah shouted back.
Ella left her suitcase at the bottom of the stairs. Leah had kindly agreed to stay with Lia for the week while Ella was over.
Alessia thought you’d be busy today, and was not expecting you to be sitting at her kitchen table with a big grin on your face as she came into the room.
“Hi baby” you smiled as the blonde quickly made her way into her arms.
“I didn’t know you were going to be here” she whispered.
“Yeah, I just wanted to” you began before you were interrupted by Ella clearing her throat. Alessia shot Ella a look and knew exactly what her best friend wanted.
“Right, yeah, okay. Ella this is y/n, y/n this is Ella” Alessia smiled.
“Nice to meet you” you smiled putting your hand out.
A lot of people thought you were small in height, but you were taller than both Leah and Alessia. Ella was definitely not expecting you to be this tall.
“Jesus Christ you are tall” Ella gasped as she shook your hand. You and Leah couldn’t help but laugh.
“Tooney” Alessia moaned in embarrassment.
“I guess I am tall” you laughed, squeezing Alessia’s waist. “You ready?” You asked the blonde girl who was frowning at you now.
You both had nothing planned until your event this evening, she wasn’t even expecting you to be here now.
“For what?”
“I thought maybe Ella could stay with me? Saves Leah giving up her house and you could stay in mine too if you wanted” you smiled as Alessia’s face lit up and she pushed her hands up to your face.
“I want to stay in the mansion” Ella shouted.
“I told you, you’re making a mistake” Leah laughed at you as she pulled Ella into a hug and the two began to catch up.
“I love you” Alessia smiled kissing you quickly.
“Love you more” you kissed her back before heading to the door to grab Ella’s bag.
“Okay, well, bye Leah. I love you” Ella kissed the skipper’s cheek before skipping out after you.
“She’s going to break up with me after this isn’t she?” Alessia sighed as Leah nodded and burst out laughing.
You drove back separately, Ella with Alessia and you alone. Alessia needed to pack some clothes etc for staying at yours. Although she had some stuff at your place, she needed a week’s worth of fresh clothes.
You pulled in first, making sure that the guest bedroom was acceptable looking for a guest to stay in. You brought Ella’s suitcase to the top of the stairs and left it in the room.
The two came through the door in fits of laughter before Alessia nodded towards the stairs and they shuffled up.
“You can stay in here” you smiled at Ella, as she walked into the room you’d just walked out of.
You gave her Luke’s room as you knew Leah was prone to staying randomly. Luke’s visits were more planned and involved him texting you to let you know beforehand, whereas Leah would just show up.
You didn’t mind either way.
Well, until you and Alessia thought you had the house to yourselves when Leah tumbled through the door one evening. All three of you agreeing to never speak of it again.
Plus, the car bed had now been replaced with a normal bed after Luke begged you to move it to his apartment. Steph did not find that as amusing as both of you did.
“Thank you” Ella smiled from the room. “We need to leave at around 5pm right?” She asked and Alessia nodded and pushed you quickly towards your bedroom. “I’m gonna take a quick nap then” Ella shouted after you both.
“5pm?” You frowned.
“6pm, but need to give her an hour so she is ready on time” Alessia laughed as she closed the door to the bedroom and pressed a kiss to your lips.
“So how much time have we got to kill?” You smirked.
“I didn’t think I would even see you until tonight” she grabbed the back of your neck and kissed you hard.
“Have you even streamed my album yet?” You asked when you got a break in between breaths.
“Of course” she smiled. “I was on Spotify like a mad woman at midnight” she giggled as you kissed her again.
You had a few hours before you had to head out, so you both decided to take a nap too.
At 4:30pm, Ella was knocking on your bedroom door demanding you both get up.
“We’re not leaving until 6” Alessia shouted as she got up to get in the shower.
“You told me 5” Ella protested from the other side of the door.
“You underestimated her” you laughed, still lying in bed.
“No, I just had warned her to be on her best behaviour and now it’s coming back to haunt me at 4:30pm” Alessia groaned.
You got up and walked to the door where the Manc was almost fully ready on the opposite side.
“Could you give us like 45 minutes?” You asked as Ella’s eyes quickly shot up to meet yours and she began nodding. “Luke and Steph will be here in a little while” you smiled and Ella went back towards her room.
You’d gotten ready into the outfit that your stylist team had picked. Alessia had decided to get ready in the guest room with Ella so when Luke arrived you went straight down.
“Looking sharp” Luke patted your shoulder as him and Steph walked through the door. “Are the girls ready?” He asked as you smirked and shook your head.
“I’ll go help” Steph smiled as she ran upstairs and joined the other two in the room, instantly falling into a fit of laughter.
“And, we’ve lost her” Luke laughed.
“Just be thankful Leah and Lia aren’t here” you added.
“Want a drink?” He asked, heading towards the kitchen.
“Yeah go on” you nodded, you made your way into the living room, getting comfy on the couch.
Luke came back with two bottles, handing you one and taking a seat beside you.
You were talking about the night and how sales looked like on your album already.
Steph was the first one down the stairs, coming into the living room to get the two of you.
“Ready?” She asked with a smile as both of you stood up.
Her and Luke made their way outside to the car that was waiting, quickly followed out by Ella. You stood at the bottom of the stairs waiting for Alessia who made her way down slowly.
You got a good look at her as she walked down the stairs. Her dress matched your suit, her hair was curled and she was holding a clutch bag.
“Lessi” you breathed out.
“You okay?” She asked anxiously, bringing her hand up to your face.
“You look” you hesitated but you eventually got it out, “beautiful”.
She remembered back in your New York apartment the first time you told her that. She still felt the same now, if not more in love with you.
“I love you” she smiled, pressing a kiss to your lips. “But can we talk about this outfit? You look so good baby” she kissed you again before you could speak.
“You ready?” You asked and she nodded. She linked your arm as you both made your way to the car.
It was the night of your first album release and you’d decided to just do this once, so you did not have to do two separate events.
The album had came out in the early hours of this morning, with the other coming out at midnight tonight. That was why you were currently stood at this over the top party in your honour to celebrate the success of album 1 and the expected success of album 2.
Your whole family and Holly were here, apart from Jacob. Alessia’s parents and brothers were also in attendance. Once Ella had let slip that she was invited, more Lionesses wanted the invite hence why practically the entire team were here on top of the whole Arsenal squad. Steph had also let it slip to some of the Aussie girls, who in attendance.
Holly was busy with the date she’d brought, Lessi busy with Tooney and the rest of her team mates, Leah busy with Lia and some Arsenal girls. Luke was also busy mixing with some other official looking people.
Despite the party being for you, you looked the least interested person in the room. You’d been roped into an uninteresting conversation with some producers with ideas when your phone buzzed.
“Sorry, excuse me” you said as you glanced at Anna’s contact.
You made your way outside, lighting a smoke and answering the call.
“Hey superstar” she smiled.
“Hey, where are you?” You frowned. It didn’t look like she was home. You’d presumed she was calling to check up on your night due to her not being able to be here.
“I have someone I want you to meet” she smiled as she moved the camera down for you to see a baby in her arms.
“No way” you shouted putting your cigarette out and gripping the phone with both hands now. “Anna, I’m so happy for you”.
Anna had practically been like your mum since she’d come into your life. You knew she would be the best mum, apart from your own.
“Meet baby William” she smiled.
“When can I actually meet baby William?” You cooed through the phone.
“Maybe when you’re not meant to be inside promoting your album” she laughed as you rolled your eyes.
“It’s a lot. I’m used to you being here to do the boring talking” you laughed.
“I’ll be back in action soon. But for now please just be good” she warned as you nodded. “Call me when you get home, okay?” she smiled as you agreed and she hung up.
You walked back in a little more perkier to the event, immediately being pulled by your girlfriend who was looking extremely anxious.
“Where have you been? I’ve been looking for you everywhere” she whispered shouted.
“Sorry, I was just talking to Anna” you informed her. “She had a baby boy” You smiled.
“All okay?” Luke asked as he came up behind Alessia.
“Anna had her baby” you beamed.
“She’s early” he gasped. “I’ll go call her” he began to walk away before he was pulled off by someone to speak.
“Wait” you called after him, saying something Alessia couldn’t hear before he nodded his head on and walked off with the person.
“You seem stressed baby” Alessia gripped your hand carefully in hers.
“These nights just remind you of how much pressure you’re under to do well. There’s so many people relying on these albums” you shrugged.
“Maybe come dance with me?” She smirked.
“Oh you think that’ll take my mind off it?” You smiled devilishly as she pulled you on the dance floor.
She introduced you properly to her friends as you danced with her. It was only after a few minutes that you were pulled away.
“Congratulations kid” a man in a suit stuck his hand out to shake your hand.
“Uh, thank you” you shook his hand.
“Terrific achievement” another nicely dressed official looking woman said.
“What?” You frowned.
“Excuse me, can I have your attention?” Luke interrupted the room, speaking into a microphone. He was stood on the small stage at the top of the room. “Y/n’s second album was released just moments ago and is already #1 in the charts” he announced.
“What?” You repeated as you stood in a state of shock. You felt someone jump on your back and knew already it was Holly.
“Y/n is currently taking up every position in the top 10 across the two albums” he added as Holly jumped off your back and squeezed your shoulders.
You reached for Alessia’s hand and held it tightly.
The crowd that was there burst into applause and cheers and before you knew it your hand had been removed from Alessia’s and you were being pushed forward to the stage by people you didn’t even recognise.
She could see the stress on your face from where she stood at the back of the room.
“You okay, Lessi?” Ella asked but Alessia was too busy making sure you were okay to even comprehend what Ella had said.
“She looks so uncomfortable” Alessia huffed, trying to keep her eyes focused on you.
You were just thankful when you got to the stage, Luke was there to swat people away and pull you up to safety.
“I think they want you to perform” he whispered as you groaned.
You’d just wanted to get this over and done with so you could go home. You actually hated being a celebrity, you wished you could just release music and nobody knew who you were.
“Holly’s here isn’t she? She could help” he offered. He knew better than anyone you didn’t want to do this, but his suggestions were usually helpful.
“Holly” you shouted as she came charging up to the stage. “They want me to perform” you whispered.
“Okay, sweet. What do you want to do? I’ll set up” she smiled and patted you on the shoulder while the three of you brainstormed.
“Does she always look this stressed?” Ella asked with a laugh, only to be met with a scowl from your sister.
Alessia’s eyes still firmly pressed on where you stood.
“Do you have your loop pedal?” Holly asked quickly as you groaned and shook your head. “We could go acoustic or if you magically have a piano player here they are welcome to join us” Holly laughed.
“Genius” you shouted and clicked your fingers. “Lee” you gestured for your sister who immediately rushed towards you. She presumed something was wrong so took off like a light to get to you.
“Everything okay?” She asked, placing a protective hand on your arm.
“I need your help” you pleaded.
“Yeah, of course, anything” she smiled, trying to make out what the expression on your face meant.
“Can she even play?” Holly laughed.
“Yeah, I taught her” you nodded at your now smirking guitar player.
“No, no, no. Not in front of all these people” Leah begged.
“It’s just one song and me and Holly can do the rest” you reassured her and somehow, eventually, she gave in.
You’d taught her to read sheet music, rather than learn by memory. Although she didn’t need sheets all the time anymore, but she did for your music as she’d never played it.
You got the sheets from Holly’s guitar case and placed it in front of her on the stand.
“All okay?” You asked as both of them nodded.
“Yeah the Leah Williamson on the piano” Katie shouted and Alessia tried to quieten her down.
“We’re on our best behaviour” Ella smirked as her and the Irish girl laughed.
“So, we’re going to perform a few songs for you guys. My sister, Leah, is going to help us out with the first one” you smiled.
You played a few songs, Leah ended up staying and playing with you for them all. It was the best performance you’ve ever given.
“Thank you, enjoy the rest of your night” you smiled. You headed off the stage and fell right into Alessia’s arms.
“You okay, baby?” She whispered as you nodded.
“Wanna go home?” You asked.
“Are you allowed?” She laughed.
“They don’t need to know” you smirked as you pulled her outside and into the car which was just awaiting your arrival.
It was a little while later when Ella hadn’t been able to find Alessia for quite some time.
“Did Less just leave me here?” Ella pouted.
“Aw poor Tooney, her best friend abandoned her for her girlfriend” Leah smirked. “You can stay with me tonight don’t worry” Leah chuckled, handing her another drink.
Ella sent Alessia a message to let her know she was staying in Leah’s.
While the party roared into the early hours of the morning, the person it was dedicated to was tucked up in bed. Soundly asleep with her girlfriend next to her.
“Oh my god we forgot Ella” you startled awake with a shout.
“She’s with Leah baby, it’s okay” Alessia giggled at how panicked you looked before she settled you back down and you both fell back asleep.
Leah dropped Ella off at your house the next morning. You and Alessia had slept into the late morning, Ella arriving at around 11am.
“I will sell this to the press that I was abandoned” Ella shouted. You shot up awake, reaching for an Alessia that wasn’t there.
“Can you be quiet? You are going to wake her up” Alessia groaned. She thought you seemed agitated last night. You kept waking and frantically moving and twitching in your sleep.
“You will be mentioned in the article too” Ella laughed as Alessia rolled her eyes.
“It wasn’t Less’ fault” you mumbled from the door as both of their heads shot around. “I just needed to get out of there. I’m really sorry” you said softly.
“Ella’s only joking baby, you don’t need to say sorry” Alessia smiled.
“I was fine” Ella reassured you. “I stayed with Leah. Your performance was really good by the way” she said.
“Thanks” you chuckled, jumping up on the countertop so Alessia could snuggle into you. “So, Ella” you began.
“Tooney” Ella corrected you.
“So, Tooney, is there anything you want to do when you’re in London?” You asked.
“She actually has a list” Alessia teased as Ella shushed her.
“Can I see it?” You laughed while Ella reluctantly handed you her phone.
What I want to do in London
See Big Ben
Go on the London Eye
Wax museum to see wax version of Leah
Fancy dinner on a rooftop
Taylor Swift at Wembley
NFL game at Spurs stadium
London Dungeons
“That it?” You laughed as she nodded eagerly and you handed her back her phone.
“Me and Tooney are going to go for brunch, do you want to come?” Alessia asked as you now noticied both of the girls were fully dressed.
“You guys go ahead, you haven’t seen each other in a few weeks” you smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “Here, take this” you added, handing Alessia your card and waving away her protests.
“We won’t be long” Alessia kissed you quickly as the pair left the kitchen.
“Yes we will” Ella shouted as they left, making you laugh.
You took out your laptop, and started booking everything Ella wanted to do.
Of course the NFL game and Taylor’s concert had no tickets left, so you made a few phone calls.
And each time you were asked only one question, “How many tickets do you need?”
So you got enough to do whoever you thought the pair would want to bring.
You of course had to agree to do a photoshoot here, a performance there, but it was worth it if it made Alessia’s friends happy, which in turn, made Alessia happy.
Alessia and Ella got back from breakfast and slumped onto opposite couches in your living room.
“This house is nice you know” Ella smirked.
“Don’t” Alessia warned, knowing full well where Ella was going with this.
“Surely you would rather live here than at Leah’s?” Ella asked.
“I like me and Leah’s” Alessia shrugged.
“Oh yes, I would much rather live with the sister of the person I’m fuck” Ella began before she was interrupted.
“Alright Tooney” you said as you entered the room completely oblivious to the conversation the two were having. “So you’re here with us for 6 more days so I tried to space everything out as best as I could.
“What are you talking about?” Alessia asked as you gave your phone to Ella and sat down beside Alessia, placing a kiss on her forehead.
“This is everything I said I wanted to do” Ella frowned looking at your phone.
“Yeah, it’s all booked. If the times don’t suit I can change them. But unfortunately the Steelers and Taylor wait for nobody” you laughed.
“Baby, you didn’t need to do that” Alessia anxiously tried to grab your hands that were shaking a bit. You always did everything to try and make someone happy, because money wasn’t an issue for you.
“How did you even get tickets to them? They’ve been sold out months” Ella’s eyes were still glued to your phone. “Wait, it says you got 40 tickets?” Ella frowned, looking at you.
“Yeah, I know you’ve said before some of the girls you play with are into her music and some watch the NFL so invite them if you want” you smiled.
“I don’t know what to say” Ella looked bewildered. “Well I do, thank you, for starters” she laughed. “How much did all of this cost? I can” you held your hand up to stop her from continuing.
“Whatever you want on your trip, I’m happy to do” you nodded before standing up, taking your phone back and going to finish making your coffee.
“Lessi, I didn’t mean I wanted her to book all of that stuff” Ella whispered.
“I know” Alessia nodded. “She has no boundaries when it comes to paying for things” Alessia tutted.
“Have you tried to talk to her about it?” Ella asked.
“I will” Alessia nodded. “I know her mum went ballistic about the car”
It was a real problem Alessia was having. Anytime you’d go out, you would pay. Anytime she made a comment about liking something, you bought it for her. You meant no harm, you just thought that was what was expected of you.
“All okay?” You came back in with two coffees for you and Alessia and a hot chocolate for Ella.
“I just need to call Viv and tell her we have Taylor Swift tickets so she can mentally prepare herself” Alessia laughed, taking out her phone and quickly getting off this topic.
You took Ella to everywhere she’d asked to go. Making sure her and Alessia had a nice time together.
You offered to just drive them to places and let them be alone but both of them protested each time and asked you to come too.
You didn’t want to wreck their day out by people stopping you asking you for photos and autographs, but neither girl minded. They were stopped a few times too, so they understood.
You eventually took Alessia and her friends along to the NFL game when the day came.
From living in America for so long, and being into sport, you obviously liked and understood American football. You thought from her college years Alessia would get it too.
“You understand this don’t you?” You asked Alessia who looked lost.
“Yes” she lied.
“No she doesn’t” Katie laughed. “She’s been askin’ me to explain it to her all week”
“Do you follow the league?” You asked the Irish girl.
“Yeah, I am a big Chiefs fan” she smirked. “You?”
“The giants” you nodded as she laughed. “Yeah, I lived in New York I didn’t have much choice” you shrugged.
“You had a choice of two and picked the worst one” Katie chuckled.
“Yeah, yeah. Next year is our year” you smirked.
“While we both agree that this is adorable” Caitlin began. Her and Alessia were looking at you both a bit smitten with your little American football chat. “Are either of you going to explain what is going on?” She asked as you both looked back.
“When is the half time show?” Ella asked as Katie groaned.
You explained to your girlfriend and Caitlin about what was happening, while Katie explained the concept of the SuperBowl’s half time show.
You liked Katie, you’d met her twice now. Although you knew there was history there with Caitlin and Lia, it didn’t seem to bother anybody.
“Hey, listen” you began when she turned back around to face the pitch. “We’re going to a concert in Wembley tomorrow, if you and Caitlin want to come?” You asked.
Alessia’s heart could have stopped right there when you were making such an effort with her friends.
“Who’s we?” Katie replied.
Alessia began listing people off as Katie approved each of them.
“Who’s playing?” Caitlin asked.
“Taylor Swift” Ella replied excitedly.
“How do you have spare tickets for Taylor Swift?” Katie laughed as you shrugged.
“She’s magic” Ella shouted.
A touchdown happened in the game as you and Katie jumped to your feet, high fiving each other and cheering.
“Oh no, there’s two of them” Caitlin joked as her and Alessia giggled.
“Guys they’re giving out free jerseys” Beth laughed.
“What do you mean?” Leah asked, looking at the jersey Beth was holding in her hands.
“I went up to the kiosk thing, and I asked what the price of the jerseys were and they said everything was paid for” Beth squealed.
Alessia just knew.
Again, you meant no harm, you just wanted everyone to have a good time. And if a couple of jerseys, hats and scarfs made them happier then so be it.
“Y/n” Alessia frowned.
“It’s fine” you waved her off.
“Hey mate, would you mind if we got a picture?” Katie asked as you smiled and shook your head.
“No, not at all” you replied as Caitlin took a photo of the two of you together.
“Leah will you take one of the four of us?” Katie asked as your sister waltzed over. You held your hand out which Alessia took and shuffled to sit on your lap. You held her waist with one hand and rested your other on her thigh, with her hand on top of yours.
You ended up taking photos with quite a few of the girls. Really, that’s all most people were after when they met you.
It wasn’t like you thought badly of the girls, it was just that, well, you were used to it. You were used to not being able to sit comfortably and watch or do anything because people would want to ask you for something.
That’s why you were happy when Katie asked for a photo with you, Alessia and Caitlin. You knew she was genuinely just looking to get a nice photo with her friends.
On the drive home you seemed quiet, but so did Alessia. Ella spoke for the entire way about how she liked the game but was disappointed in the lack of a half time show.
It was weird, back at the house. Alessia mainly just spoke to Ella and you eventually excused yourself and headed off to bed.
It was quiet the next morning too when you woke up without her beside you. You could hear voices in the kitchen, and knew it was the pair making food.
You sauntered downstairs where you found both of them cooking and looking like they were ready to go out.
“Morning” you mumbled heading straight for the coffee machine. Your pride and joy.
“Morning” Ella smiled. “I’m still not used to waking up in the same house as someone who’s currently the top artist in the world” she laughed.
You were busy chuckling at Ella’s comments when Alessia cut across.
“Luke called, he said to call him back urgently” she told you as you nodded and pulled out your phone and dialled him.
“Morning” he said through the phone.
“Less said you were looking for me?” You asked as he nodded and gulped.
“Anna has told me she doesn’t need the money” he sighed.
“I don’t care if she needs it. I told you to pay for the hospital bills and put money aside for William” you snapped.
“I sorted the hospital bills” he informed you. “A million is a lot to put away for a kid who’s nothing to do with you” he winced.
“It’s not about him, it’s about her” you picked your phone up and took it off speaker. You headed out of the room and continuing to snap down the phone at him.
“Who?” Ella frowned.
“Anna is her manager, she just had a baby” Alessia informed her.
“Did she say the baby is William? As in Williamson?” Ella laughed.
Alessia was too caught up in the fact you were just throwing money at problems again to even respond.
You’d sorted the issue with Luke, before going back into the kitchen.
“Sorry” you mumbled going back to your coffee machine only to find that Alessia had made you one. “Thank you” you smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
“You need to go get ready” Alessia whispered as you nodded.
“I’ll be about 20 minutes” you nodded as you jogged up the stairs, careful with your coffee.
“Did he say she gave her a million pound?” Ella asked quietly.
“I think so” Alessia nodded. “I’ll talk to Luke” she added before the two of them sat at the kitchen table to eat and changed the subject.
You met up with relatively the same group from yesterday at the game, along with Alessia’s other team mates. Luke also decided to come along with Steph.
He’d been busy with your album dropping and a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure sales and streaming targets were being met.
You’d got an exclusive box at Wembley and everything was complimentary. Well for Alessia and her friends it was, you were paying.
“It’s all free right?” Ella asked, looking at the wide array of drinks and food as you nodded.
“Lessi” you whispered, gesturing her over to you as everyone else walked outside, hands full of alcohol and food. “I’m sorry for pulling you away, I just, I need to head off for a couple of minutes, but I will be back, okay?” You stuttered.
“Is everything okay?” She asked as you nodded.
“Ms Williamson, this way please” a security man quickly stepped between you and gestured you along the corridor.
You weren’t back for the entire opening act, or the start of Taylor’s set. Alessia started to panic thinking where you could be.
“Have you seen y/n?” Alessia asked as a drunken Leah swung her arm over her shoulder.
“Did you lose my sister?” Leah laughed.
“No, she told me she had to do something but she’d be back and” Alessia stuttered.
“Uh, found her” Lia pointed at the stage.
It was the same way you’d been introduced on stage in New York, where you’d also performed with the pop star.
The crowd immediately erupted when you walked out onto the stage and Alessia was flooded with questions from her friends.
“Same as New York” she said and you nodded.
You played one of your songs, Alessia’s favourite, before you played her songs. You liked playing the drums, and usually never got to when you performed, so you did so here.
You stayed out for two songs, and played drums for both of them.
You’d toured with her at the beginning of your career. You might have been a star, but she was a super star. She had taken you fully under her wing and had a lot of time for you.
“Lessi, how does it feel that Taylor Swift is currently touching your girlfriend?” Ella laughed.
“What is my life” Alessia groaned sarcastically.
You eventually got off stage, hugging the pop star, waving to the roaring crowd and heading back up to Alessia and her friends.
“There she is” Leah shouted as everyone rushed to greet you, but there was only one person you wanted to see.
You were swallowed into the group, Alessia oblivious to how stressed you were. Some people weren’t even friends with Alessia and Leah, they were friends of friends all demanding photos and autographs.
Alsssia was waiting at the back of the crop with Tooney as both of them were laughing about something.
“Mate, you look pale as a ghost” Luke frowned, pushing through the group to get to you. He could see you over everyone with him being so tall.
He let go of Steph’s hand as he began to physically push people out of the way.
It was Luke’s frantic movements that forced Alessia and Leah to push by people to get to you too.
Luke, didn’t get to you in the nick of time, but Lia did, due to her walking back from the bathroom at that given moment.
You fell back into Lia’s arms as she caught you with a bit of difficulty, more so due to the quick reaction of the catch and the sheer size of you in comparison to her.
“Y/n?” She shouted with a worried tone.
It wasn’t anything serious, health wise anyway.
You’d had panic attacks multiple times. You got stressed and overwhelmed just like anyone else. You just unfortunately sometimes lost the feeling in your legs, which is why you fell right into Lia’s arms.
She set you down on a seat and that is when Luke got to you.
Lia ushered everyone away from you while Luke tried to talk to you. Alessia and Leah eventually got to you too.
All three were hunkered down infront of you. Luke’s hands on your knees, Leah was holding your hand and Alessia’s were on your cheeks.
“Must have been on something, you know the way pop stars are” a friend of Beth’s mumbled making a few others laugh. Steph and Lia sat awkwardly in the group.
“I’m surprised Lessi is dealing with that” Beth piped in.
“Are you alright?” Ella frowned at them, crossing her arms. Alessia could see and hear the entirety of this conversation. She was trying so hard to focus on you but her ears continued to wander at the back and forth.
“You don’t know shit about her, but are happy to take tickets and shit she bought” Ella continued. Alessia had excused herself from you momentarily to get Ella away from this conversation.
“Calm down Tooney she’s not your girlfriend” the girls chuckled.
“No, but she is mine” Alessia pouted. “And no, she does not take anything. She’s not an idiot” Alessia scowled.
“Lessi we were just joking” Beth said defensively.
“Well it’s not fucking funny. You’re sitting here making comments on someone in ear shot who’s clearly not feeling okay. You’re supposed to be my friends and Leah’s friends” Alessia was angry now. “You wouldn’t even be here if she didn’t get you tickets” she reminded them.
Although Leah was annoyed, she couldn’t help but feel like a proud older sister. You’d found someone who stood up for you, and really cared about you.
Mel probably would have riled them up to keep making comments.
You might have been in hearing distance, but you didn’t hear a word of any of this. You barely felt Alessia’s hands leave your face you were so far removed from your own body.
You couldn’t pin point what had caused it, you never really could when they happened. Luckily, you were away from the crowd that nobody could see you.
Leah eventually got you down, sending Luke off to get you water.
“Do you want to stay or we can get you home?” Leah whispered.
“We can stay” you nodded, you were starting to come back to your senses. “Where’s Less?” You pouted.
“Just over there” Leah pointed towards her. Luke handed you a glass of water, checking on you before you all walked back onto the balcony.
Your girlfriend was the first one that you saw when you walked back out.
“Sorry” you mumbled.
“Don’t apologise” she squeezed your cheeks before placing a kiss on your lips.
You stood behind the blonde, arms wrapped around her shoulder swaying and laughing to the music.
A few fans snapped photos of you two looking cosy and cute at the concert.
“You okay now?” She whispered as her back pressed to your front even further. You nodded against her shoulder.
“Marry her” Leah shouted as you laughed.
“For any particular reason?” You asked.
They shared a look before Leah answered.
“No, just do it” Leah shouted back.
“Maybe” you winked, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “Tooney, are you enjoying yourself?” You asked the girl currently screaming along to the song.
Alessia loved that you were being so caring of her best friend.
“This is the best day of my life” she shouted, making you laugh.
“We literally won the Euros here” Leah frowned as Ella shrugged and continued to shout the lyrics.
“I’m just going to grab a drink baby, want one?” Alessia asked as you smiled and shook your head. Her, Lia and Steph skipped off together inside to get some drinks.
“You know, you’re really nice” Ella smiled, pulling you down towards her by your shoulders.
“Thanks Tooney” you laughed. You knew the girl was slightly drunk, like most people here.
“No I mean it. I’m so happy Alessia met you” she was shouting into your ear now, squeezing your shoulder.
“Do you think it would be okay if I asked her to move in with me?” You asked as Ella’s face lit up in a grin.
“You have my permission” Ella laughed as Leah pulled up beside you.
“And mine” Leah added.
“I’ll take my girlfriend back now, thank you” Alessia squeezed between you and Ella and you went back to your original position before she had left.
“Love you” you whispered as she smiled and pressed against you.
When the concert was over, you were grabbing you and Alessia’s stuff. She was called over by Beth and the two seemed to be having a bit of a heart to heart, mediated by Viv and Ella.
They hugged it out before Alessia and Ella came back to you.
You handed them their bags and gestured them to the car.
“Two seconds” you muttered as they protested you staying.
You walked up to a guy in a suit who smiled and shook your hand, and began talking with him.
Alessia turned back to make sure you were okay, and that’s when she saw the guy gesturing you over to the card machine, clearly to pay for everybody’s antics tonight.
You shook his hand again before leaving and catching up to the pair.
“You told us it was free” she whispered.
“It doesn’t matter Less, really” you smiled, taking her hand and wrapping your arm around Ella’s shoulders to keep her steady.
You got them both into an awaiting car and headed back to your house.
You helped Ella up to bed before making your way to your own room, where Alessia was waiting for you, already changed into your clothes.
“You’re so pretty baby” you smirked as she frowned at you. She hated compliments.
“Just get in you big teddy bear” she laughed.
It was quiet for awhile, both of you presuming the other was asleep. You were spooning her, so you couldn’t see each others eyes were still open.
You eventually were drifting in and out of sleep. You uncomfortably shifted and Alessia knew you were awake now.
“You awake?” She asked anyway, just to make sure.
“Mm” you grunted.
“Oh awake and cranky” she teased as she turned to face you. “Something on your mind?” She asked and you shook your head.
Nothing was, you were just struggling to get asleep.
“You okay m’love?” You croaked tiredly, she nodded so hesitantly even your tired self picked it up. “What’s up?” You asked.
“It doesn’t matter baby” she smiled, placing her hand on the side of your face.
“It does, I need you to talk to me” you placed your hand over hers and her thumb began gently stroking your face.
She shook her head before pulling away from you completely and sitting up.
“Lessi, baby what’s wrong?” You pouted, also readjusting yourself so you were sitting up.
“Y/n, I” she began, she was stuttering and twisting the rings on her fingers.
You grabbed her hand and the look of stress on your face must have made her realise she was panicking you.
“I just want you to know, you don’t need to do everything for me or for my friends” she breathed out. “I love you so much and I appreciate everything you do for me. But I work, I can take you for dinner, I can afford to do things for you” she squeezed your hands.
“I’m sorry” you shrugged. “I just” you tried.
“Look I get it” she replied. “I understand with her there was an expectation. But with me, there’s not” she smiled. “I want this to work two ways”
“Okay” you nodded.
“Is that okay?” She asked.
“Yeah” you smiled. “I am sorry Less. I just always thought the only way to get people to be my mate or to like me was with money”
“Well, I would like you even if you were just Leah’s sister that came to watch me play football” she winked.
“God don’t bring up my sister in bed” you groaned as she laughed.
“Cmere” she demanded, pulling you closer as you kissed her deeply.
You woke the next morning, Alessia asleep beside you with banging coming from downstairs.
You got dressed and headed downstairs with a frown on your face when you noticed Leah and Lia’s shoes at the door.
The banging was coming from the kitchen and when you waltzed through the door all three quickly turned to face you.
The three girls stood infront of your coffee machine, all staring at you now as you walked through the door.
“What?” You asked with raised eyebrows.
“Don’t get annoyed” Leah began, holding up her hand to indicate you needed to remain calm. “Tooney is going to explain” she said as Ella gulped.
“So, I tried to make you a coffee this morning to say thank you for letting me stay” Ella’s eyes were glued to the floor. “And um” she put her hands out in front of her to reveal several different parts of your coffee machine, broken, in her hands.
“Aw man” you groaned, taking the parts from her hand.
“I’m sorry, I know you really like this coffee machine” Ella pouted.
“I tried to fix it” Leah winced.
“It’s fine, don’t worry” you shook your head.
“Do you mind if I took you for coffee this morning instead?” Ella asked.
“Oh, uh” you hesitated but then remembered your conversation with Alessia last night. “Yeah, go on then. I’ll wake Less” you smiled, running back up the stairs.
“You are so lucky she didn’t kill you for breaking that” Leah laughed.
“She treats it like it’s her child” Lia chimed in.
“Do you two wanna come as well then? Cause if anything is better than bein’ a third wheel, it’s bein’ a fifth one”
“Oh maybe call Steph babe and then she can be the seventh” Lia giggled as Leah sarcastically took out her phone.
“Five is plenty” Ella protested, putting Leah’s phone back in her pocket, making the skipper laugh and head up to help you get Alessia awake.
“Lessi” you gently shook her awake. “Baby, wake up”
You didn’t hear Leah sneak in the door.
“Oh, is someone eager for a round two?” Alessia smirked as you chuckled.
“Jesus Christ scan the room” Leah grunted. Both of you jumped at her voice. “I just came to make sure you’re awake. Do not be long” she warned.
“Oh god that was fucking embarrassing” you groaned with a laugh. “Anyway, come on we’re going for breakfast” you pulled the girl up and threw some clothes at her to put on.
“Wait” Alessia grabbed your hand back. “Good morning” she smiled as she kissed you.
“Good morning” you leaned over to kiss her. “I could get used to being here every morning actually” you said in between kisses.
“Yeah, it would be nice” she smiled.
“Move in with me then” you blurted out.
“What?” She gasped.
“You aren’t going to live alone, and you’re living with Leah. You should be here” you nodded.
“Which room can be mine then?” She smirked.
“This one, and is that a yes?” You asked.
“Of course it’s a yes” she squealed, jumping into your arms.
“I told you two to hurry it up” Leah shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
“First things first, you are taking her key off of her” she laughed as she got up off the bed now to get ready.

Incident at the Trampoline Park
Summary: You break your arm at the trampoline park
Warnings: Dislocated Shoulder, Ambulance
Tumblr media
“You excited Monkey?” Kyra asked as she threw you up in the air and caught you.
“Yesss!” you squeal.
“Guys, inside voices, and Kyra be careful, we don’t want any injuries today.” You Mum told you both off.
“Geez, when did you become such an old lady, we aren’t even there yet”.
“Calm down Cait, it’s okay, no one will get hurt and it will just be a fun day out” Your Ma told you Mum.
“Yeah okay, but is this really the best idea, I mean-” “Babe it’s going to be fine,” your Ma cut your Mum off as she placed a kiss on her check, “ready to go Munchkin?” you nodded eagerly.
Today was team bonding day, it was your Ma’s turn to choose the activity and organise it but because your Birthday had just passed and she wasn’t there with you because of international break she let you choose, and you chose to go to a trampoline park, everyone was hesitant to go at first but once they found out it was your choice not Katie’s they were all ecstatic to go. But there were still some on the team that were a bit cautious, your Mum being one of them. Everyone had been informed by their skippers that no one could get injured, as Jonas would kill them if someone got hurt, he strongly suggested to stay away from such activities.
The day had been going great, you met all the girls there and had heaps of fun.
“See, I told you everything would be fine,” your Ma told your Mum.
“Yeah, I guess so-” your Mum was interrupted by a blood curtailing scream, which was accompanied by a “Shit! KATIE! CAITLIN!” both your Mum’s looked over to where the sound came from and saw a bunch of commotion and before they knew it, they were running as fast as they could to get over there. When they reached the area, they saw your little body standing in the middle, Leah was supporting you, keeping you upright as you leaned on her, you were sobbing, face all wet, your left arm just hung by your side, you kept trying to touch it, but Leah kept pushing your arm away from it, which made you frustrated.
“Oh Munchkin,” your Ma cooed as she gently and carefully placed you in her lap.
“Does your shoulder hurt Monkey?” your Mum asked as she pushed the hair that had stuck to your face out of the way. You nodded.
“Coming through,” a path was cleared for the two paramedics.
“Hey little one, can you tell me your name?” the younger one asked you, you shook your head, you just wanted to the pain to go away. “That’s okay, does it hurt?” you nod before adding “f-feels wie-wierd”.
“Oh, that’s no good, I’m just going to touch you here okay,” he touches his own collar bone area, “I promise I won’t touch your shoulder though” you give him a small nod before he starts to feel your collar bone, a certain spot he touches feels very ouchy and you wince in pain.
“It’s okay baby,” your Ma says to you as she rubs your back.
After some more checking he turns to your Mum’s “Shoulder is definitely dislocated, however as she is a child we can’t reset it here, so the hospital will do that, she could also have a small break in her collar bone.” Your Mum’s nod.
______
You wined as Katie put you in your car seat, “I know its uncomfy but you have to sit in your car seat, how bout I sit next to you?” you gave her a small sad nod, “Cait, catch” she threw the keys at Caitlin, who managed to catch them.
“Since when do you let me drive?” “Since princess wants me to sit in the back with her,” “I think I remember you asking her. Not her asking you but anyway get in”.
A few minutes into the drive, you fell asleep. “Love you babe” Katie said from the back seat.
“What was that for? But love you too.” “Can’t a girl just tell her girl she loves her, does there need to be a reason” both of them chuckled. “I’ll update the girls”.
~~
North London is What?
Katie: Just thought to give you all an update, little miss had a dislocated shoulder and a hairline fracture in her collar bone, they were able to reset her shoulder in the ED. Has to wear a sling at all times for the next week and then we will find out more next week.
~~
They were flooded with heaps well wishes messages from the girls.
When you arrived home you were still sleeping so Caitlin when ahead to get some cushions, blankets, and other items to help make you comfortable on the couch and Katie carefully got you out of your car seat and inside, both women were thankful that you had stayed asleep. With you asleep on the couch they went into the kitchen to get some of the necessities, so they had them at arm’s reach, you were always very clingy whenever you were sick or hurt.
“You okay?” Caitlin asked Katie.
“What do you mean?” Katie asked almost defensively, Caitlin knew there was something definitely wrong, Katie only reacted like that when there was, and she had a small suspicion she knew what it was, well it was more than one thing.
“Babe, come here,” she said as she pulled her in closer for a hug, “you know you’re an amazing Mum.”
“It doesn’t feel like it Cait,” Katie’s voice broke, Caitlin unwrapped her arms from around Katie and move her hands up to either side of her face, using her thumbs to wipe away the few tears that had fallen out of Katie’s eyes, “hey, don’t cry, it’s okay, you are an amazing Mum she adores you.”
“But does she? She always chooses to go with you on camp, I’ve never been picked once.” More tears started falling out of Katie’s eyes and Caitlin wrapped her in another hug.
“You know, she only chooses to go on camp with me because of Harper, Kyra and Charli, I swear it’s like I don’t even exist on camp,” Katie lets out a small laugh, “Hang on, can you hear that?” Caitlin said, it sounded like there were voices coming from the living room.
“Hello?” Katie questioned as they walked into the living room seeing some of their teammates sitting there.
“We just thought to let ourselves in to drop off our gifts, we didn’t want to disturb you, but then we saw monkey and couldn’t help sitting down,” Steph admitted, Leah, Kyra and Beth all nodded in response.
Caitlin sat down next to a now awake you and Katie sat at your feet next to Leah, “You okay?” Leah asked Katie.
“Yeah,” Katie said as she nodded and gave a weak smile.
“Hey, how are you feeling?” Your Mum asked you as she went to pull you in for a hug, but you climbed out of her arms and shuffled over to Katie.
“Want Ma,” you said, and with that Caitlin gave Katie a smile.

“No, want to stay with you,” you grumbled from your car seat, Katie had told you that you were going to stay inside with Oscar today at training, usually you loved spending time with Oscar, but you were still ouchy and wanted to say with your Mum’s.
Your Mum’s phone buzzed before she looked at it, “How-bout you sit on the side with Steph Monkey?”
“Stephy,” your voice perked up at the mention of one of your favourite people. Your Ma, looked at your Mum confused, “Steph just messaged the group chat, said her period is bad today so she messaged Jonas, he told her to sit out, so she is going to watch training from the sidelines.”
“Does that mean Stephy will be grouchy?” you questioned “No, Monkey, at least I don’t think so” you Mum replied laughing, your Ma sent her a death stare. Your Mum’s had told you what a period was when you first asked as they wanted to be open and honest about your body, but it washed over your head, clearly too young, the only thing you remember is it’s a lady problem that happens once a month, and it's why your Ma gets grouchy every month around a certain date, or at least that’s what your Mum said.
You arrived at the colony slightly later than normal today as it took a bit longer to get ready this morning due to the circumstances, so you went straight through to the training pitch, when you walked out on the grass you saw Steph in the shade near the water bottles, leaning again a wall, with her knees tucked into her chest.
“You alright?” Your Mum asked as you got closer to her.
“Yeah, just you know,” Steph replied, “Rough time?” she asked when she saw you, you seemed sadder than usual, for obvious reasons, but also extra clingy and you held your stuffy and blanky in your good arm which Steph never saw you with unless it was nap time or bedtime.
“More like rough last 5 minutes, there were some tears shed as we got out of the car seat, but yeah also rough night, someone didn’t get much sleep” she replied to her teammate before kneeling down in front of you “do you want to ask your question to Steph?”
“Stephy, I sit with you, please?” you asked softly.
“Of course, Monkey, how bout you sit in my lap?” you nodded softly at her suggestion.
“You sure, she has a pillow, Katie has it, she can just lay down next to you,” Your Mum said, she was concerned for her friend, she had never seen her bothered by her period.
“I’m sure Cait, don’t worry it’s fine, and plus I don’t think she is going to be causing me much trouble” Steph said as she opened her arms for you, she helped keep you steady as you climbed into her lap, you put your legs out in front of you, they were much shorter than Steph’s, your feet barely touched her knees, you then leaned your back on her stomach and your head rested just below her chest, the wind was chilly so your Mum put your blanket over you and soon enough you had fallen asleep.

Loyalty and Love // Leah Williamson
Tumblr media
warnings: dead family member
Leah was a gooner through and through, never been seen in a different club jersey than the arsenals as she was Arsenals biggest fan.
She went through all the youth team stages until she reached the senior team. Her body was full of loyalty to the club while your career path was very different - something Leah did not like about you.
Your career started at your hometown club near Bavaria, Germany, until FC Bayern München became aware of you. You were the only girl in the league and still scored the most goals. So to be fair, your actual club career started at the FC Bayern academy. You started there at the age of 10 and played there until the age of 16.
At 16 years old, you said good bye to Germany and played for Ajax in the Netherlands. You played two years for them and enjoyed every second with the Ajax family, yet after those two years, you transferred to AS Roma. You had many transfer offers, inside the league and outside of it but even though, you had transferred a few times already, you had one rule: never play in the same league with a different club. Roma sent you on loan to Olympique Lyon where you won the champions league and the league, each time as a key player of the team. OL offered you a real contract which you gladly signed - winning the treble. After three years in France, where you had learned a lot technical stuff but also had developed further as a person, it was time for a new challenge. A new club and country.
Spain was calling, FC Barcelona to be exact. After a teary good bye, you left for good - it was time to shine at Barcelona.
Your talent was magical, you could score from every angle, no matter the position and the fans loved you.
You had been nominated for numerous awards, won many of them yet still you were the kindest person. You always made time for the fans, signed jerseys, took photos and chatted with them. You were down-to-earth.
Of course you had haters, people not liking your volatility but you didn‘t care. You had a mission and would continue it, no matter if you had no fan at all or a the whole woso community behind you. So while your job was to score goals, you only had one goal in mind.
You loved the Spanish weather, you loved the City, you loved the girls. They made Barcelona your home and more than that. Playing alongside Alexia, Mapi, CGH, Aitana and literally every one on the squad was amazing. It was the way they played and the mentality they had that fascinated you.
The first season at Barcelona was the season you won the Ballon D‘or, while still being so young. The combination of the playing style that you learned in the individual clubs in each country also made you Fifas the best. You were the best.
On the pitch, every opponent was afraid of you while off pitch they adored you. It broke your heart to leave Barcelona, the City you adored. So why did you leave? It was the thing you had to do. The thing you promised yourself at the age of 16 when you left Bayern - Arsenal would be your last stop ever. The thing you promised someone. Your retirement club, you would stay there forever - as long as they offered you a contract.
-
While everybody had greeted you with open arms at your arrival, the skipper kept her distance, only talking to you when necessary. Leah was skeptical to say at least, some things bothered her about you. She didn‘t appreciate your transfers nor respected them. Every country? Really? Why Arsenal? Her childhood club? How long did you want to play here before you stab the team in the back? When another country became interesting? Maybe the US? Sweden?
And then the tape. The strip of tape on your shoulder, it didn‘t make any sense to her. It didn‘t seem like you had problems with your shoulder nor an injury in the last few years (which she had obviously checked) so why the tape? She - well actually everyone, never saw you without. When it slowly started to look rancid, the next second it looked like new again. When you changed, even in the shower after playing it was always there. Were you hiding something?
Leah didn‘t like you, it was clear as the day but (even if she would never admit it out loud) you were a fantastic footballer. Your feet could do magic with the ball, from assisting to scoring to defending, everything you did on the pitch was faboulous. That, she had to appreciate, maybe you would help Arsenal to win the league.
This season. who knows how long you‘ll stay.
-
After your first month with the gunners, you knew for sure, your heart and brain realized it for the first time: after years, you had finally fulfilled your promise.
You felt peace, nothing more. Maybe you could forgive yourself someday.
-
Over time, Leah‘s dislike towards you turned into much more - hate. When you were near the blonde, she would glare at you or leave the room,
the moments you tried to talk to her, to get to know her, she ignored you and
she would rudely comment on the things you said.
After months of trying, you just stopped. If she doesn‘t want to talk to you that‘s okay. You didn’t have to be friends - colleagues, that‘s it.
-
"When I visited Greece-" you started to tell Lia about the beauty of the country when her work wife cut you off, "wow, Y/L/N, a country you didn‘t play in, really respectable" Leah spat, rolling her eyes. Lia smacked the back of her head, her behavior unbelievable.
It was no secret that the defender felt some sort of dislike towards you - noticeable for your team mates and especially for the swiss as she knew Leah like the back of her hand.
"Ignore her" the midfielder stated, asking you to continue your story.
"It‘s fine" not in the mood to tell the end of your Greece-story, you left the two LW‘s joining Vic as she juggled with the ball.
"You really need to stop that" the swiss international grumbled, "she‘s actually really nice"
"And her loyalty sucks! I won’t let her ruin this club"
The brunette watched the blonde march away, arms crossed.
-
Leah‘s behavior continued like that, rude comments sent your way, cut off mid sentence and ignorance accompanied you every single day. But your mindset was clear: you couldn’t be bothered by her.
You understood that Leah was skeptical of you, you‘re new and played for several clubs but on the pitch you played your absolute best each game. You deserved at least some respect.
-
"Where‘s hopper?" Leah asked - you’re never late. Her new nickname for you showed her antipathy towards you yet hiding it well enough, so other people outside of the team wouldn’t get suspicious.
"She‘s on her way home for a few days" Lia replied calmly, not wanting the blonde to explode.
You had texted Lia about your plans earlier this morning - she was your friend after all. Just because she was great friends with Leah, didn‘t mean you couldn’t be friends with her too. Like I said, you were friends with the whole team, just not with Leah. Besides you enjoyed talking to Wally as it was in your mother tongue, conversation flowing with an ease.
"What the fuck?! She does know we‘re playing a derby this weekend!" The England captain growled, marching out of the changing room, already calling you. Who do you think you were?
Her calls went straight to voicemail which only angered and frustrated her more. why were you so infuriating?
The defender was quick to approach to Jonas - what was the thinking letting you leave? Did he even know about this?
"Why did you let her leave?!" the woman asked loudly and harshly. You made her blood boil. "Is she playing on Saturday? You should kick her out of the squad! This behavior is unacceptable" she scolded.
Even though Leah knew the team would need you, she was too caught up in her anger.
"Who are you talking about?" the coach asked rather confused. Was he missing something?
"Your new signing" she huffed out frustrated, how can he be this clueless?
"She‘s not here. Apparently at home in Germany, did you know about this?"
"Oh! Yes, I know about this. It‘s in her contract"
"What do you mean? In her contract?"
"She‘s allowed to leave, no matter what day, at-" he looked at his watch, checking the date, "at the 20th of March for three days. One day to get there, one day to stay, one day to leave" he explained.
"Why?"
"I can’t tell you that"
-
On game day, you arrived on time at the stadium, your favourite defender already impatiently waiting for you in the locker room. When you entered the room, she was about to stomp over, telling you how your behavior was unacceptable and jeopardizing the team but something told her not to. Your shoulders were sagged, your eyes red and puffy as you had bags under them ad well - it looked like you had been crying for awhile and not sleeping either. You looked small and sad, but not the sadness-sad, somehow it looked like grieving-sad or guilty-sad. Leah didn't know if her analysis was correct, after all, she didn't know you as you weren’t friends - not even close to that - and to the others it seemed like you were your usual self.
As you walked past her to get to your cubby, she grabbed your hand. "Are you okay?" she asked, genuinely concerned about your well-being. Her stone cold persona towards you was gone for the moment, eyes scanning your face - what was wrong? How can she help you?
"I‘m fine, Leah"
Her hand had a firm grip on yours yet it was so gentle and soft - it was almost like you could feel her 'caring' about you.
But you knew, she only cared about the team and not about you.
"Thank you for asking, though" you smiled a bit, before leaving her touch and walking over to your cubby.
You didn't want to be rude to her because it seemed like she was dead serious about her question. Besides, if you wanted to have at least a somewhat normal work-relationship with her, this might was a step in the right direction.
However, you had to admit, the feeling of her holding your hand was quite nice and made you hope for eventually being friends one day.
-
The game started with you on the bench as agreed with Jonas. It was his decision if he wanted to put you in or not and you respected either way. You were thankful enough that he had shown so much understanding about your family situation, so you wouldn’t be the one to complain about not playing.
Next to you on the bench sat the one and only Leah Williamson, who watched the game very carefully, attentively and critically - the same as you did. In your heads, the two of you analyzed what happened on the field, every bad pass, every unused space or loss of the ball was noted while you tried to come up with solutions. While Leah stated her analysis to everyone at half time, you talked to the relevant person what they should pay particular attention to - most opponents had the same playing style, even if the tactics were changed. Overall, it wasn't the played game in general that mattered, but rather the individual players on the field. If you watched them long enough, it wasn't too difficult to outplay them and their team - Leah and you knew that.
Both of you got subbed on in the 74th minute, the defender doing her job brilliantly while you ran down the wing. The game seemed like it had shifted as soon as the two of you took in your positions. Chances were created, space was used, passed connected perfectly - in all honestly, Tottenham didn‘t have any control over the match anymore, thanks to Leah and your critical eyes.
The score changed when Leah sent a ball flying towards you. With one quick motion, you dribbled around the defender, firing a shot on goal - Tottenhams goalkeeper stood no chance.
That evening a special chemistry was born between your favourite defender and her favourite hopper.
-
If you were hoping that the 'how are you' question meant something, you were wrong.
Her arrogant attitude got worse, as did her mean behavior towards you. You thought that maybe, just maybe, the link up on the pitch earned you enough respect that she at least refrains from commenting. Yet she questioned everything you did and not only that: you were regularly asked whether you would leave the club at the end of the season or whether you would leave one season after that. At this point you felt helpless, you didn’t know what her problem was with you - she seemed like a nice person towards everyone else.
"Come on, Leah, leave me alone" you grumbled as she stood next to you in the locker room with her arms crossed. Especially today she was getting on your last nerve. You hadn‘t slept well the last few days and the bickering was getting more and more exhausting.
"You weren‘t concentrated today" she stated, "this isn‘t acceptable at Arsenal."
"Leah-" Wally tried to stop her but there was no chance. She wouldn’t hold back.
"No, she has to know. She‘s played at enough clubs to know that she has to give 100%!"
"As if you haven‘t had a bad day before"
"I can keep things professional"
"No you can‘t! If you could, you would leave me the fuck alone. You are all judgy but never played somewhere else than Arsenal, so get a fucking grip. At least I have the experience of other leagues"
The whole changing room gasped, Katie smirking, happy that you stood your ground. Leah’s behavior was ridiculous. And this time she took it too far.
On an emotional level, your week had been absolutely shitty.
It‘s like a haunted house, only you‘re the ghost.
On an physical level, you were exhausted.
So, neither emotionally nor physically you could deal with her at the moment.
"Watch your mouth-" the defender started before you cut her off.
"No, you will watch yours" your pointer finger angrily poked her chest, "Listen to me closely, I will not repeat myself. You, Leah Williamson, will stay away from me. I‘m not your friend, I’m not your mate, I’m your colleague, so treat me with damn respect" with that you grabbed your stuff and left.
Leah was breathing heavily, your anger awfully attractive.
"Why are you being like this?" McCabe asked, the girls in the room waiting for an answer. This couldn’t be just because you played for several clubs and she was questioning your loyalty - there had to be more.
"Because she‘s hiding something! I won‘t let her ruin this club" she growled, sitting down in her cubby.
"What should she be hiding?" Steph questioned, you seemed like an honest and truthful person.
"She literally left for three days out of nowhere!"
"She did that when we played at Barca together too" Laia added. She had never thought about that before. But Leah was right, it was unusual to not show up at training when you weren‘t injured or sick, especially since it was in the middle of the season.
"See!"
"I still don’t see the problem" Steph shrugged her shoulders, "she‘s a lovely person and you would know that if you gave her the chance to show it" with that the Australian left. You were such a lovely girl, at least someone had to defend you. Partly, Steph could understand where Leah was coming from - that girl was bleeding Arsenal red.
After Steph had left, the other girls started to leave too, Leah and Kim the only ones left.
Leah was sorting through her bag, checking if she had everything she needed when Kim broke the silence, "Her brother died when she was 16. The 21st of March is the day of his death"
Leah stopped her movements, "what?" she turned around, the colour leaving her face.
"That’s all I know"
Kim grabbed her bag, walking past the blonde, about to leave, "I’m disappointed in you, Leah. We're a family here, and you didn't show her that. Have you ever thought about why she played in every league? You’re criticizing but not questioning. You doubt her loyalty, but she hasn't transferred within the league - doesn't that show her respect for the club she‘s played at?"
"Kim-"
"Have a nice evening"
Alone in the changing room, Leah tried to process the information, now it made sense that you were at home for a few days. It was his anniversary.
She had been a complete ass to you without knowing your story - she still didn't. However, for the first time she felt something like interest. She wanted to get to know you. She wanted to know your story. But most of all she wanted to apologize. You seemed like a sweet girl.
Of course, most of her questions were still unanswered: the tape? Why did you transfer so much? You‘re young.. but for the first time she didn't care. She fucked up and was determined to start over.
I‘m disappointed in you, Leah.
-
At home, the defender sat on her couch, eating some food while the tv was showing her favourite show. This wasn’t right. She couldn’t wait till tomorrow. She had to talk to. Now.
Leaving her food on the table, the blonde called Lia, asking where you lived. The Swiss was hesitant to tell her as she wanted to protect you but Leah sounded genuinely upset about her own behavior.
"Please.. I- I‘m in the wrong here, I know that now. I don‘t want her to go to bed angry or feeling like she‘s not a part of the Arsenal family."
After that, the Swiss texted your address, the England captain already on her way.
When she arrived at her destination, she felt nervous. She rang the bell, hoping you wouldn’t open. She wasn‘t prepared at all - she didn’t know what to say or how to make things up with you.
In that moment, she realized maybe it was a hasty decision to just show up in front of your door and apologize. It wouldn’t be deserved to accept the apology straightaway.
"Leah?" you said surprised.
"Hopper" it was almost inaudible as you had knocked the air out of her lungs. You looked breathtaking. No, it wasn‘t something fancy - you wore an oversized shirt and some shorts while your hair was down but you looked naturally beautiful.
"What are you doing here? I told you to leave me alone"
"I- um.. I came to apologize?"
"Are you asking me that?"
"I came to apologize"
"Go home, Leah-"
"Give me a chance-"
"No. Look, I don’t know why you are here or what your problem is but I don‘t want to play your sick games" you stepped back, closing the door, leaving the defender dumbfounded in front of your home.
"I know about you brother!" she called, helpless on what do to. But as soon as the word 'brother' left her mouth, she regretted it.
The door was thrown open, "what did you just say?!" you were angrier than ever. Your family had always been a sensitive subject.
"I know about your brother" the audacity Leah had to repeat her words was unbelievable.
She squeezed herself inside, looking around.
"I swear to god, if you don‘t leave-"
"I‘m really sorry" she turned around, you didn‘t know if she was talking about your brother or how she had treated you and neither did she. Either way, it made you furios, you were balling your hands into fists, trying to stay calm.
"Is that him?" she asked, walking to the picture frame on your shelf, "what‘s his name?"
It was a picture of the two of you as kids, both of you wearing Germany jerseys as you grinned in the camera - one of your favourite pictures.
And that made you explode. How dare she come to your home, implying to apologize which she wasn‘t and then act nosy.
You marched over, grabbing her at the collar of her shirt and pushing her against the wall, "leave me alone" you weren’t shouting but you voice was loud, clear and firm, almost intimidating.
Her breath hitched, "I can‘t" you were so close to her. She could see all tiny freckles, those which only appeared when you were in the sun. She was intrigued by you. Her eyes darted around your features, the wrinkle between your brows slowly disappearing.
You didn‘t know what came over you, but in less than a second, you smashed your lips against hers. Teeth were clashing, all anger and frustration purred in, hands gripping and pulling as both of your minds went blank. Neither of you could think about anything else but each other.
-
The day she stood in front of your apartment, wasn’t brought up again yet you had to admit something shifted in your dynamic that night.
The chemistry you had on the pitch only grew, Leah assisted while you scored countless of goals.
Her behavior wasn‘t as bad as before anymore, she started to greet you, say good bye or other acts of kindness yet every once in a while a snarky comments left her mouth.
After Arsenal had won the conti cup against Chelsea, the celebrations were on the rise when you entered the club. You saw some girls dancing around, some lingering at the bar and others sitting at the table.
You joined the girls at the table, sitting down next to Stina. Lost in conversation with the Swede you didn‘t notice a blonde defender standing right behind you with her arms crossed and a pout on her face, "you‘re sitting on my seat, hopper" she grumbled, the pout increasing.
"Sit somewhere else" you replied, not looking up as you continued your conversation which had been rudely cut off by the English woman.
"There is no seat left"
This time you turned around, looking up from your seat as the defender glared at you.
It was the first time, you had seen her tonight and she looked absolutely gorgeous with the outfit she was wearing.
"I think you‘re old enough to deal with that, aren‘t you?" you smiled sarcastically at her, once again turning to Stina.
"I am" she stated, a smug smile plastered on her face. With the alcohol in her system, she simply sat on your lap, one arm going around your shoulders while she started her own conversation. Weirdly confused but somehow not minding, you let her be, your arms going around her waist to support her. No one said anything about, most of them not realizing what was happening or simply not caring - as long as you weren‘t fighting everything seemed fine.
The night continued like that, chatting, dancing and enjoying the time.
"Could you let me get up, please? I‘d like to have another drink" you asked the defender who immediately got up, "can you bring one for me too?"
"Sure"
She smiled shyly before you left, sitting back down, Lia looking at her with a 'tell me right now what‘s going on' expression.
"What?"
"Seriously? What‘s going on between the two of you?" the Swiss asked, Leah‘s eyes already back on you as you stood at the bar, ordering.
"Nothing"
The defender’s brows furrowed when a man approached you, standing way too close to you, her jaw clenching.
She saw you taking a step to the side, intending to signal the man that you were not interested. In responds, he only stepped closer.
Angrily, the blonde stood up, marching over, "is everything alright here?" her hands settled on your waist, pulling you protectively towards her.
"Everything‘s alright, mate" the man slurred, stepping forward, "I’m just getting to know your friend."
Leah was quick to step in front of you, her hand holding onto you to know you‘re safe, "leave my girlfriend alone or I will break your nose" she threatened.
The man held his hands in surrender before he left.
In an instant, she turned around, cupping your cheeks, checking if you were alright.
"I‘m okay" you stated. What just happened? Girlfriend? Weird man? Break his nose? Girlfriend?
"Here‘s your drink"
She took her drink, resting her hand on the small of your back, guiding you back to the table.
What‘s just happened?
Lia was the only one left at the table while the others had joined the dancers. You were about to sit down on an empty chair when the blonde pulled you on her lap - roles reversed.
Raising an brow, "There are enough empty seats this time"
"I don’t care, hopper"
"I‘ll join the rest on the dancing floor" Wally said, winking at Leah whose cheeks turned red.
"You‘re so beautiful, you know" the England captain said, cheeks turning a deeper shade of red.
"How many drinks did you have?" you giggled, your fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns along the back of neck. "Not enough to punch that guy" she growled.
You laughed, "you‘re cute when you‘re jealous" not so sober yourself.
She squeezed your hips in responds, resting her head on your shoulder.
Both of you enjoyed the silence that came over you, also enjoying the closeness you shared in that moment. Leah wasn‘t forgiven and she knew that yet she couldn’t stay away from you. Somehow you were addicting.
For once, it was nice not to argue with the blonde but to enjoy her company. She was cute, you couldn’t lie.
"I‘m very sorry for my behavior" she whispered, "I’d like to start over again" you turned towards her, eyes locking, "I’m not asking for your forgiveness, just for a chance to show you that I’m not an awful person. You are a part of the Arsenal family and I’m sorry for treating you otherwise"
You let her words sink in. She was right, she couldn’t ask for your forgiveness because too much had happened already but starting over seemed like an opportunity for the both of you.
"I’m Y/N"
-
The next weeks, Leah was the sweetest person to you. Each morning, she greeted you with the widest smile and when she left the facility, she always made sure to tell you good bye. She treated you with respect and listened to everything you had to say. She was amazed by the stuff you had to say. She couldn’t care less if it was something as simple as your favourite colour or an opinion on something. Everything you said was important to her.
Soon the small talks turned into longer conversations until they were endless.
In matches, when somebody fouled you Leah was the first to stick up for you, arguing with the opponent before she argued with the ref (of course after she had made sure you were okay.)
Slowly but surely, Leah earned your trust and appreciation.
She wasn‘t just anybody - she was Leah Williamson and once she had set her mind, you couldn’t stop her from doing it.
She wasn‘t the Leah you had met at your arrival - she changed for good. She was much more. She was funny, loving and caring, attentive and respectful - she was actually an amazing woman and your friend.
-
Standing in the kitchen of Leah’s apartment, you made dinner for the both of you while she sat on the counter watching you and eating the ingredients.
The atmosphere was tranquil and relaxed as music filled the background.
Peace.
"His name‘s Sebastian" you turned around, grabbing another ingredient out of the fridge while you avoided Leah‘s eyes, painful stings in your heart. You wouldn‘t cry, not now. "He‘s three years older than me" you inhaled sharply, trying to compose yourself as you continued to cook. "You would have loved him, he was a big Arsenal fan, watched every match" you chuckled, "but was the worst player of all time. He never really was a sports guy anyway, he was rather the calm type of person. He loved to cook - that‘s actually one of his favourite recipes" you nodded your head towards the food splayed out on the counter.
The dish you were making had brought you so much comfort after his death. It felt familiar. Sometimes, you imagined him standing in the kitchen, so concentrated that his brows would furrow as he cut the vegetables or when he seasoned - never a drop too much. He was very particular when it came to cooking, but rightly so, because when he did it, it always tasted absolutely perfect.
"He used to be my best friend"
Your heart broke into pieces saying it out loud. He wasn‘t just anybody - he was your brother, the only man you ever loved and him more than anyone.
The two of you had a special bond, you basically owed him your entire career. Because it was him who kicked the ball around with you for hours,
because it was him who drove with you to training when your parents had to work,
because it was him who always watched your matches,
because it was him who always believed in you, even when you were on the verge of giving up.
He was your biggest supporter, the person who believed you could be the best footballer in the world one day and the one person who made sure that you had a life outside of football.
And even though you would have never shared your charger with him, you would have given him your lungs, so he could breathe.
"What happened to him?" Leah asked, her voice gentle, testing the waters if it was okay to ask or too much.
"When-" you closed your eyes, holding back the tears that were about to fall, "I was at a birthday party. At some point during the night I asked him to pick me up because I wasn't feeling well. He did it without hesitation. On the way home we- we got hit by a car and crashed into a tree. Both of us were conscious but he was coughing and bleeding very badly. It looked very bad. I prayed to every god I knew that they should take me and not him- they didn‘t listen" tears were streaming down your face as you aggressively cut the remaining vegetables, "his last words were 'make me proud' and i remember shouting at him but it was too late. I told him I loved him- he took his last breath with a smile on his face"
Silence filled the room, small sniffles the only thing being heard. You grabbed a tissue, blowing your nose and another one to dry your tears, "I am- was blaming myself for what happened, so I left home as soon as I could"
Leah was listening carefully, her heart aching seeing you in pain and the pain you had been through.
"I always complained about others leagues, because they seemed so easy and everything" you chuckled at the memory, "and he always was like 'you can‘t complain if you haven‘t played there'" mocking him, the most german accent in your voice, "so that’s what I did. I have played in several leagues but I always knew Arsenal would be my last stop"
Everything made sense now, Leah‘s heart broke even more, realizing what an absolute ass she was while you only had one goal in mind - to make him proud.
It was never your plan to ruin Arsenal, you wanted to stay there to fulfill the promise you had made in the night that changed your life.
-
Leah saw you with different eyes now, her heart was beating for you in more than one way. She admired you - for the way you play, how strong you are and how hard life had been for you yet still smiling throughout it.
She had to protect the ray of sunshine and the feisty beast you could be. You weren‘t just anybody - you were Y/N Y/L/N, the best footballer in the world.
The defender was a 100% sure, your brother would be more than proud of you and the woman you became.
But she also knew what she had to do. You deserved an apology, even more than that - you deserved every good thing in the world. And if she could she would take all your pain away.
-
It was in the middle of the night, all lights turned off besides in the kitchen of the blonde defender. She sat at the kitchen table, one sheet of paper and a fountain pen in front of her.
Dear Sebastian,
I’m Leah, Leah Williamson.
I've been playing for Arsenal my whole life. I've had my best and worst moments at the club. All of my best moments had to do with my team, my friends, my family, whereas my worst moments had something to do with my performance or injuries. Unfortunately, because of my loyalty and love for the club, I was blinded from seeing the important things - your sister. I never understood why she had transferred so often - it seemed like she was volatile and didn't understand loyalty and love. But she does - she does that more than anyone else.
Her loyalty was only ever dedicated to you.
She is an incredible person and I’m so sorry for the way i treated her at her arrival (I will tell her that, this time when I’m fully sober and explain everything). But I’m writing you to tell you that I like your sister, more than I ever thought I would. To be honest, that‘s the first time I’m admitting it to someone, I didn‘t even admit it fully to myself - but I do. I like her. And I guess, this is me asking for your blessing.
A blessing that I can treat her right if she lets me,
a blessing that I can always support her,
a blessing for one chance with her.
I know, there is much too make up for and my behavior will never be excused - no apology could be strong enough for what I have done - but I want you to know that I will regret it till the rest of my life.
So while you may be her biggest fan from paradise, I want to be her biggest fan from earth.
I promise to do everything in my power to be the best person she deserves.
Sincerely,
Leah Williamson
With a lighter in her pocket and the letter in her hand, she went outside on the balcony. The night was chill and quiet, the perfect atmosphere as the moon shone brightly. Her nerves were calming down and her mind seemed to find rest as she looked up in the sky, "one chance" she whispered, burning the letter. She watched the ink and paper slowly disappear, the smoke rising into the night sky. She knew it was unrealistic to expect any sign of positive responds but was it wrong to hope? When the letter was fully burned, she waited till the smoke was completely gone before she went back inside, turning off the kitchen light and making her way to bed.
When the blonde woke up the next day, she made her way to kitchen immediately, needing her morning tea. She frowned and froze.
"Hello?" she called.
No response.
She had turned off the light last night, didn‘t she?
She sure did!
Was this her sign? Was this the sign that the letter arrived?
It was his blessing.
-
"Hey" the blonde greeted you with a wide smile when you entered the changing room.
Matching her smile, "good morning" you walked to your cubby.
"What are you doing tonight?" she followed you, the smile not leaving her features. Someone woke up in a good mood, you thought.
"Going home, eating, then sleeping" you replied.
"Do you want to watch the Arsenals men game tonight? With me?"
"Are you nervous?" you asked, the defender fidgeting with her fingers as her cheeks were slowly turning red, "I’d love to watch the match with you."
And if you thought her smile couldn’t have gotten wider, you were wrong - the smile she sent you was from ear to ear.
"Perfect" with excitement in her body, she pressed a peck to your cheek before she happily skipped out of the room, the other girls watching the interaction that just happened closely.
"Are you blushing?" Katie laughed loudly as you embarrassingly turned to your bag, in fact blushing.
-
Half an hour before kick-off you rang Leah‘s doorbell, takeout in your hands. You weren‘t in the mood for cooking and Leah‘s cooking skill were eh, e for effort?, also you had been craving Chinese all day long, so that‘s what you got.
"I brought food with me!" you grinned, pushing yourself inside as soon as the blonde had opened the door.
"What did I do to deserve this?" she asked chuckling at your eagerness as you walked in her kitchen to get some plates and cutlery.
Cheekily, you replied "Nothing, I was just hungry"
Serving the food on the plates, you sat down at the table with Leah, comfortable silence filling the air while the two of you ate dinner.
Something was bothering Leah though, you could tell. Every now and then it seemed like she wanted to say something yet she closed her mouth quickly after.
"I‘m sorry for my behavior" she mumbled, "when you arrived at Arsenal, I mean" you looked up from your plate, meeting her eyes for a brief second, "I was skeptical about your loyalty and it got out of hand" carefully she laid her hand on yours, hoping you wouldn’t pull away.
You didn‘t - you wanted to hear what she had to say.
"I‘m really sorry and I know we started over, but I need you to know how sorry I am, this time without any drink in my system. You’re the most loyal person I know, I just didn‘t notice it"
"Leah" you said gently, "look at me, please"
The defender raised her head, looking at you with unsure eyes, rapidly tapping her foot under the table.
"Thank you for telling me. I guess I would have been skeptical too if I had played for the gunners my whole life" you told her, "I’m not excusing your behavior because it wasn‘t nice or appropriate but I don‘t have any bad blood against you either. In fact, I enjoy your company" you pulled her hand from hers, only to put it against her side profile, softly caressing the apple of her cheek.
Subconsciously, she leaned into your touch, "I‘m very sorry"
"I know"
The unspoken 'why' barrier was finally removed.
-
"Arsenal will win, I can feel it!" the defender stated, flopping down on the couch. With a bowl of popcorn in your hand, you sat down next to her, somehow your thighs touching even though the couch was big enough. "Liverpool is a tough opponent"
"Oh stop it! None of that"
Making herself comfortable on the couch, she turned on the tv, ready to see Arsenal win.
Getting comfortable yourself, you pulled your legs on the couch, leaning towards the armrest on the other side which earned you a glare, "what do think you‘re doing?"
"Oh, sorry" in an instant your feet were on the ground.
"No, what are you doing over there? Come here" she nodded to the space between her legs, signaling you to cuddle her.
With red cheeks and a racing heart, you crawled over, settling between her legs as your body melted into hers, head resting on her chest while her arms wrapped around you.
Leah was sure you could hear her racing heart and even though she desperately tried to concentrate on the match, she just couldn’t. With you in her arms, she wouldn’t ever want to think about anything else. You looked so precious in her arms, eyes fully focused on the tv.
"You are so beautiful" she admired, looking at you with heart eyes.
"What?"
You prompted yourself up, looking at the blonde who was smiling dazedly at you, "you are just so gorgeous" her fingers started to play with your hair as she got lost in your eyes, "let me take you on a date"
It was crazy how the mood had changed - from apologies at dinner to cuddling on the couch to asking you out.
"Okay" you smiled shyly, cheeks crimson red as your skin tingled.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah"
You stared at each other, eyes shining with adoration and passion, both of you slowly leaning in.
When your lips met, the world seemed to stop spinning, fireworks exploding as you melted into each other and Arsenal getting themselves on the scoreboard. She kissed you so gentle and tender - the complete opposite of the kiss you had shared before.
Everything was perfect.
-
After many many dates, the blonde asked you to be her girlfriend. None of your friends surprised at this point - you had always been obsessed with each other.
The two of you had been caught kissing several times, not even trying to hide it. Leah loved kissing you but she also loved physical touch in general, always holding your hand, having her arm around your midsection or her hand on your thigh while driving. She couldn’t get enough of you.
-
"Come to bed" the blonde whined, waiting for you to join her under the covers. Weirdly, neither of you could sleep good at night without being in each others embrace, so it became your routine - either Leah would sleep at your home or the other way around - this night you were at Leah‘s, and obviously you had stolen a shirt from her wardrobe as your pajamas - which she liked very much. You looked so cute in her clothes.
When you joined her, her arms were immediately wrapped around your body as she pulled you close, pressing a good night kiss on your temple.
The next morning, you woke up with hair in your face and a head resting on your chest, the blonde defender still peacefully asleep. You stayed like that for awhile, your hand gently rubbing her back before you slipped out of bed, ready to make some breakfast and your much needed coffee.
Since it was the weekend and your day off, you decided to surprise the England captain with some self made pancakes - you knew she loved them.
While Leah woke up due the feeling of your absence which turned out to be correct, something she didn‘t like. Sleeping without you was awful already but waking up without you? absolutely horrible.
Grumpily, she made her way out of the bedroom, the smell of pancakes hitting her nostrils, lightening her mood in an instant. Following the smell, she found you in the kitchen, only wearing a sports bra and some of her old Arsenal shorts - you looked cute - booping your head to the non existing music, no doubt that you were humming some song. Silently, the defender walked up behind you, her arms smacking around your stomach, "gosh, you scared me!"
"Sorry, baby" apologetic, she pressed multiple kisses on the side of your neck, fingers tracing along your sides.
You inhaled sharply when she traced along the stripe of tape on your shoulder, she had never brought it up before, respecting whatever story was behind it.
"You- you can take it off" you whispered breathlessly, anxiety and fear creeping through your body.
"Are you sure?" her lips kissed the other side of your shoulder, trying to calm you down and ease your mind.
"Yes, just- be careful, please"
and that’s exactly what she was. All of her moves were gentle and careful - you weren’t afraid that it would hurt pulling the tape off but the story behind it.
After the tape was ripped off a big scar was displayed on your shoulder, "it‘s from the car crash" you said, pain shooting through the healed wound. It wasn‘t an injury pain rather the type of phantom pain - suddenly you were back in the car.
"It‘s a constant reminder of what had happened - something that‘s my fault" you admitted, fighting the tears, "I started to cover it up but make up didn‘t work, so the physio at Ajax taped it. And since that day, I do it all the time"
Leah‘s heart broke at the vulnerability she was seeing, your posture seemingly weak and exposed.
"Is this okay?" Her pointer finger traced over the scar..
"Yeah"
..not in a way that made you uncomfortable but in a way that made you feel like you didn’t have to be ashamed of it.
"What about this?" for a moment you didn‘t feel her touch at all before she pressed featherlight kisses over your scar.
"yes"
Tears were streaming down your face, all of your walls broken down now, Leah made you feel perfect the way you are - because you are.
"I‘m proud of you"
Everything came crashing down, a sob escaped your throat and within a second, you were in your girlfriends arms, crying into her shoulder. The tears that you had not allowed to shed in previous years, fell all at once now.
The England captain hugged you through it all, letting you cry as long as you needed - she wouldn‘t go anywhere.
She had promised your brother to do everything in her power to be the best person you deserve and that‘s what she did, does and will do.
She kept her promise and you did too.
Arsenal was always half but never whole, Leah‘s begun to feel like home.

A/N — the demand for Niamhy is finally here…. I honestly don't know what came over me. Bit long, hope you enjoy!
__________________
Time after time, you had watched your girlfriend get angry on the pitch.
You had seen her push and shove, swear and tackle. Niamh wasn't an extremely violent person by any means. She could be kind, gentle, loving, and full of empathy, and in most cases, she was. She wasn't always an intolerance on the field, usually keeping the pace instead of arguing and slowing it down. She was determined, you were technical. All relationships aside, the two of you blended well on the field.
But, Niamh was many things that you weren't.
You had joined Chelsea after progressing through the United Academy. You were born in Manchester and grew up playing football. The move down to London was difficult, but you made your WSL debut in the Blues jersey, and have stayed loyal to them ever since. Unlike many of your teammates, you were very shy. You’d much rather carry the ball down the field than give a shot at goal. You liked weaving in between the midfield and opening up opportunities for your teammates rather than pursuing something for yourself. There was a joke among the Football community that you were allergic to the penalty area because you tried to avoid it at all costs.
You were on the younger side of the team as well, meaning you had less experience than some of your friends. The girls were always there to lift you up and support you, but you managed to stay under the radar, behind the inevitable spotlight.
“Ready for today, Y/L/N?” Sam asked, pulling you out of your daze as you laced your boots. The news of your skipper tearing her ACL was fresh in your mind, but her presence in the room still comforting before a game like this.
Millie was opposite you, patting your knee a few times as she chuckled. “Gonna show those reds a masterclass today, aren't ‘ya?”
You blushed at that, staring down at your boots to avoid the bashful compliments you were receiving. You didn't start often, being classed as a constant sub instead. Today, you were starting. It only made you more anxious that it was against your parent club, one that you used to stay loyal to. One that United fans still ridicule you for leaving. You were an anxious person anyway, but a sold-out stadium and a phone full of social media only fueled your apprehension more.
Your teammates knew of this stress you placed on yourself, and what others placed on you. They had told you thousands of times that Chelsea was lucky to have you, but you constantly lacked the confidence to agree with them. You wanted to prove to everyone that you were capable of exceeding expectations.
“Piss off, you two.” You heard a familiar voice snap. “Leave her alone.”
You looked up to find your girlfriend grabbing your hand, pulling you up so she could wrap her arms across your shoulders. You engulfed her usual scent and sighed in contentment, hugging her back with your arms around her waist, your head against her chest.
You heard Sam scoff, the two women giggling to each other like school girls.
“Captain Niamhy to the rescue.” Your usual skipper teased, poking your side. You yelped, and Niamh sent a glare towards Millie. Sam wobbled closer to the two of you, laughing at the blush that painted your cheeks.
“C’mon, Mils. Let's leave these two love birds by themselves.” She chuckled. “Niamhy wants to show off the armband.”
“I’ll take your crutches, Kerr.” Niamh retorted, ignoring the two women as they sauntered off, placing her attention back on you.
You had left her wandering hands, turned towards your cubby, searching your bag for a hair brush. The anticipation of the game was continuously creeping up on you, and Niamh noticed your apprehension from a mile away.
Your breath hitched when you felt your girlfriend’s hands grip your waist, her front pushing up against your arse. Her voice was softer, raspier. Your bent figure made her bend down so that her mouth was level with your ear.
“You're going make me so proud today, aren't you, Baby?”Her tone sent a shiver down your body, her hot breath fanning down your neck. “‘Gonna show everyone how good you are for me?”
You nodded, feeling your throat close at your flustered state. Your face flushed an embarrassing shade of crimson when Niamh pushed you further into your cubby, moving one of her hands down to the inside of your thigh.
“You’ve got to use your words, yeah?” She muttered, maneuvering your arse so it aligned with her front. “I want to hear you on the field today, okay? Even if I'm on the other side. Understood?”
“Yes.” You muttered.
Niamh tutted. “Yes…?”
You felt all your composure start to fizzle down to your core. “Yes, Niamh.”
“Good.”
You were about to groan before Niamh pulled you upright, tightening her grip on your waist once more before leaving a chaste kiss on your forehead. You threw your head back and sighed, trying desperately to compose yourself before anyone questioned you.
You followed the team out onto the pitch, not realising that Niamh’s little stunt was to take your mind off the game. You moved through shaking everyone’s hands with ease, taking your position without a second glance towards anyone.
The whistle blew, and you were off.
Chelsea were determined to prove themselves after the poor efforts of the West Ham game. People were doubting the Blues after Sam’s injury and the girls all wanted everyone to know that they were serious contestants.
You were never predictable in the midfield, despite never really moving in and out of the middle very often. You found yourself creating as many chances as possible, crossing the ball into United’s half to the best of your ability.
The constant booing from United and cheers from Chelsea were a healthy, even mix, heightening the odds of the game as it progressed. You made as many breaks as you could before you felt the air in your lungs deflate when your body hit the floor.
You were slightly winded from the tackle, needing a moment to gather yourself before making the effort to get back up. Katie Zelem was the one stalking away from you, holding in a smug grin when some of the Chelsea girls threw their hands up in contention — your girlfriend included.
You shook the exchange off, hoping Zelem thought you weren't fazed by the late challenge. The crowd spurred the game into a further frenzy, coercing both sides to exacerbate their emotions.
You strained your neck from side to side, picking up the ball that had rolled away and getting ready for your free kick. Fortunately, the penalty was within United’s half, so naturally, Chelsea banked up near the goal, waiting as you began to run. You watched as the ball was sent over the top of most of the players in the direction of Lauren near the goalpost. With a flick of her head, the girl sent the ball hurling past Mary Earps’ head, speeding over to you in celebration as the United fans were up in arms at the assist you just had.
The team surrounded the two of you, hugging each other before making the swift return back to your position. Millie and Guro made a show of patting your head. Lauren shook your shoulders while Erin jumped up and down. You searched the group for Niamh, but frowned when your girlfriend was on the other side of the field.
“What is she doing?” You asked to no one in particular, staring down Niamh as she spoke with the Ref and Zelem.
Erin shrugged, throwing an arm over your shoulder. “Who cares? All you need to worry about is doing more of what you just did.”
You chuckled at the Scottish woman, using your hand to propel her away playfully. Both sides took their positions, ready to start over. United started with the ball, passing back to their defensive line before weaving it forward.
You weren't too pleased with the style of aggression that both teams were playing with, wishing that you’d walk away with a clean win and sheet. You knew from playing with most of the Manchester girls that they were taught to fight back with twice as much wrath if they were placed into a compromised position like this. Millie Turner was marking you non-stop, and Maya metres away from you at all times. You struggled to keep the ball by your feet without someone coming up behind you and snaking away quicker than it arrived. You were growing more and more irritated as the game progressed, causing you to make stupid mistakes and overthink.
Hayley Ladds sent a shot through Hannah’s hands leading into halftime. Lucia Garcia was holding onto your shirt, yanking it back in an effort to stop you from defending. You watched the Manchester girls crowd each other like your team had done at the start of the game.
You had half a mind to stomp over to the group and pull them apart, but as you looked around, you realised the rest of your team wanted to do the same. The continuous physicality of the Reds was not something you were used to. Chelsea had been dominating the league for the most part — this was not something you were expecting.
The halftime whistle blew, calling the game to a temporary halt as both teams made their way to the changing rooms.
You marched over to Hannah, patting her on the back before retrieving the ball. The girls watched you run back to the middle of the field, placing the ball in its starting position and running back. You could hear the fans screaming as your studs hit the concrete floor, yet you kept your head down to drown out your internal disappointment.
On the rare occasion that you did start, you tried your absolute hardest to keep the ball rolling. You were determined to show people that you weren't just a sub, that you were a valuable asset to the team that deserved to be a part of the starting eleven each week. Back home, you played almost every game during the World Cup with the Matildas. When Steph wasn’t Captain, it was either you or Caitlin. When Sam came back, people found out why Chelsea was lucky to have the two of you. You grew up playing alongside your Aussie teammates, so it was no wonder you moulded so well with them.
You just couldn't understand why you couldn't apply yourself here.
You were about to walk into the Changing Rooms when you heard someone call you out from behind. You turned, finding Katie Zelem walking towards you.
“Can't handle a tackle, can you?” She quipped, watching you remove your shin pads from under your socks. “Even Charles thinks so.”
“You're real cocky for fourth on the table.” You retorted, crossing your arms over your chest. “See you in the second half.”
Zelem stepped forward, scoffing. “Thats if you're not subbed off.”
You shrugged, sliding behind the door and slamming it in response. You knew Katie was saying it in the heat of the moment, but it irked you all the same. Off the pitch, you would apologise and probably trade shirts or something. Now, all you were thinking about was staying on that pitch.
The break went by fast, and you hadn't talked to anyone except for Zelem during that short time.
Guro asked if you were alright, but you shook her off. Niamh had caught onto your mood and figured it best to let you internalise what you were feeling.
Walking back onto the pitch with this newfound persistence meant for a different game. You came on wanting this win more than anyone. Despite the contrary belief of fans, people on the internet, Zelem and anyone else, you wanted to prove this to yourself.
The whistle blew, and you sprinted across towards as an attacking mid. You held out your hand when Guro got hold of the ball, darting down the wing near the edge of the field. Soon enough, the ball fell to your feet. You were expecting the cross to be quick in your feat past Toone and Garcia, moving diligently through their backline for the first time that game.
It seemed that both teams were surprised at your spur of movement. No one was used to seeing you near the goals, now all of a sudden you were on your way to scoring one. You heard Lauren beside you in the penalty box, calling for a pass, but you felt your knees give out when unknown studs hit the back of your shin. The decision of a penalty sending everyone to their feet in either disarray or ecstasy. Everyone expected you to cry out in pain when the whistle blew for contact, but you sprawled back onto your feet in a heartbeat, shoving Katie’s shoulder with so much force it nearly sent her toppling backward.
“What's wrong?” Zelem asked, swiping her shirt in order to rid the mud that had tracked her jersey. “Why the grumpy face?”
“You’re an absolute ride-off, you know that?” You spoke, keeping your eyes focused on her.
“I'm not the one always falling—”
“Oh, fuck off, Zelem!” You snapped, loud enough for the Ref to hear, as you sent another potent push towards the United Captain. A yellow was shown to both of you, leaving Katie to storm off and you to contest the card as soon as it was given.
You were about to give the woman a mouthful when someone came up behind you, grabbing the fabric of your jersey and pulling it into their waist.
You looked up to find Niamh making sure you didn't gain a red, moving you away from the scene with a knot between her eyebrows.
“Did you see her knock her over?” Niamh asked the ref, who was shaking her head at you. “She's been on her the entire game. It's been contacted, late challenges the entire time.”
The ref gave your skipper a warning look, enough for both of you to step away. “You’ve been given the penalty.” She simply put it, motioning for the shot to be taken.
You managed to leave Niamh’s grasp, leaning your hands on your hips as you waited for Guro, who was standing not far from you, to take the shot.
“What are you waiting for?” She called out. “You take it.”
It wasn't much of a shock considering you were the signified penalty taker for your National Team, but Guro’s decision still surprised you nonetheless. You found Niamh beside you still, looking at you up and down with a concealed smirk. You were undoubtedly dirty from the amount of time you spent on the floor, your hair slightly chaotic with strands falling from your face. Your cheeks were tinged a stingy red from the demand of the game, and beads of sweat framed your face.
Your appearance reminded Niamh too much of something else, causing her mind to reel at the thoughts of you lying beneath her. There was someone about you today that sent her into a frenzy. Between the two of you, it was usually Niamh who got herself in trouble with the Refs. You weren't ever the one to contest a card — even when you only had a handful — and instead you’d be the one pulling Niamh away from doing just that.
The reversed roles spurred something within the Captain as she watched her girlfriend line herself up to take the Penalty. You were searching the box for somewhere to slot it into, knowing Earps was ready to defend like her life depended on it.
The stadium went into an eerie silence as you heard the whistle mark your turn. You felt the wind propel you forward, using all your might to kick the ball as hard as you could. Watching anxiously, teething in slow motion, you felt your legs carry you across the pitch, cheering when the ball crashed against the back of the net.
Teammates were on your back instantly, hurling you to the floor, screaming amongst the fans. They shook you, congratulating you, the feeling like you had just scored your first-ever goal resurfacing. You clambered up to face the crowd, smiling as a wave of blue rose to their feet.
_
The game ended with Chelsea fans swarming the tunnel, fans reaching their hands down so they’d meet yours. The short circuit around the pitch was full of euphoria. Everyone was reeling at the game, and compliments were showering at the sight of your Player Of the Match award.
“Yeah, the Aussie!” Sam shouted, meeting you in the Changing Rooms with a bone-crushing hug. You laughed at the woman’s energy, letting her sway you back and forth before lifting the trophy up into the air.
Following Sam’s mischief, Millie’s arms snaked around your waist, lifting you up on the spot. “Look at you go, Missy! Making us proud today, aren't ‘ya?”
“Wasn't all me.” You mumbled, cheeks fragmented with a prominent blush as your teammates scoffed and ridiculed your modesty from around the room. To say they were proud was an understatement. Half of them had already posted for social media, Sam letting everyone know that you were a Matilda with a of you with your national flag wrapped across your shoulders and the Player of The Match Trophy, with the caption ‘a smashing Tillie’ on her story.
“I remember your first goal for Australia,” Sam said, pretending to wipe tears from her eyes. You huffed, shoving her slightly.
“That was years ago, Kerr.”
Sam sighed, shaking her head. “I remember it like it was yesterday.”
Your shower was a nice treat for your teething muscles, your sweats and Niamh’s jumper keeping you warm as you packed your bag and waited for Niamh to finish her media duties.
Once you saw her leaving one of the reporter’s sides, you noticed the dark tinge behind her eyes when she met yours. The smirk that aligned her face on the pitch carried itself to now, making its way across her face as she trampled over to where you stood.
Wrapping her arms around your shoulders, shovelling your head into her chest, she groaned, breathing in the scent of your freshly washed as dried hair.
“Ready to go?” you asked, hoping your girlfriend was just as eager to get back to your shared apartment as you were.
“You did so well today, baby.”
You watched Niamh break away from your shared contact, looking at her jumper hugging the curves of your figure, making it known that she’d much rather see you without it instead.
“Want to show you how proud I am.”
She threaded her fingers across the hem of your jumper, tucking her hand underneath the waistband of your trackpants, and toying with the elastic. Your breath hitched at the cold that pricked your skin, hoping Niamh was too preoccupied with her antics to notice the ache between your thighs.
“Niamhy.” You whispered, looking down at the pavement, waiting for your girlfriend to unhook her lingering hands.
“What do you want me to do, Baby? Want me to show everyone here how good you are?”
“Niamh, I—”
“Good girls get rewards, y’know?” Niamh pulled you closer, her hand moving out of your pants and over your arse, giving it a small squeeze before using her arms to lead you towards the car. “Bet you’d enjoy me fucking you for everyone to see. Show everyone who’s slut you are.”
You couldn't reply. If you did, it wouldn't be coherent. You were silent the whole way home, save for the sacred whimper that fell from your lips when Niamh’s hand squeezed your thigh, the distance of her fingers growing closer to where you needed her in each growing second. You could feel the radiation of desire emitting through the car all the way home. You were itching to feel some kind of relief, especially after the stunt your girlfriend had pulled before the game.
You forgot all about Niamh’s actions throughout the game, only remembering it when the waves of arousal moved down to your core. All you could think about was the way Niamh’s fingers ghosted your clit, teasing you with soft patterns across your legs.
When you arrived home, both of you pretty much bolted inside, dropping your bags onto the floor, only just making it to the bed when your lips met hers in an endeavoured embrace.
You let a moan leave your lips when Niamh pushed you onto the bed, crawling on top of you to swallow your unseemly noises with her tongue. The air in the room was thick as you lifted your hips, attempting to grind against her hips for some well-needed friction.
“So desperate, aren't we?” Niamh tutted, holding herself up with her arms to watch your neediness from afar. She licked her lips at the sight of you writhing beneath her. Your thighs clenched together, rubbing together in despairing need. Much to your dismay, Niamh pulled your knees apart, holding them to the bed with her own legs and a potent smile.
“Niamhy, please.” You whined, the lack of touch sending you into a new dimension of misery. Niamh crained her lips to meet your neck, finding solace in your moans when her lips found your sweet spot. She sucked and licked, rolling her tongue around the growing hickey. She held your legs open, leaving no room for friction. Your head faced the ceiling, your eyes clasped shut as you sighed at the hot marks left all over your neck. With your arms, you threaded Niamh’s hair through your hands, pushing her head deeper into your neck, bringing it down near your breasts.
“Good girls use their words, don't they?” Your girlfriend asked, peeling away from your body, leaving a cold absence behind.
You audibly moaned at the loss of contact. “I've already been a good girl. Been so good, and you said I’d get a reward.”
“Been so good for me, haven't you Babygirl?” Niamh smirked, her lips shadowing your ear, teeth nibbling the skin. “Such a good girl for scoring, aren't you? But maybe I should've bent you over during the game. Show everyone what you deserve. To have you bent over and wet for me.”
“Yes, so wet for you.” You replied, squirming as you felt your core drip with arousal. “Just want you so bad, Niamh.”
“Bet you do.” You felt one of her fingers inch up your jumper, letting the cool air nip your skin. You arched your back, feeling a wave of pleasure overcome you when Niamh’s hand met your breast. “Always wanting me to fuck you senseless like you're mine.”
She fondled it slowly, flicking your nipple in between her fingers, watching your eyes roll back when she pushed down on your cleavage. “Such a good slut for me though. So ready for me always. Are you ready for me now?”
Your head seeped into the pillow, the feeling of your breasts being attended to sending you into ecstasy. “Oh— yes, Niamh. Please, so ready for you. Want you inside me so bad.”
“Let me take this off first,” Niamh muttered, stripping off your jumper hastily, groaning at the sight of your chest on full display. You moaned and wiggled at the air hitting your nipples, making them harden for Niamh’s sole exhibition. Without hesitation, she took one of your nipples into her mouth, sucking harshly, nibbling slightly, leaving dark, heavy marks across both your breasts. Her hands groped both of them, moving them to her liking and rubbing them back and forth at varying paces. You writhed beneath her, your cheeks aflame at the sight of the marks littering your chest.
“Marking me up so good, baby.” You sighed, hoping the praise would speed up the process. “Wanna be your good girl so bad, Niamh.”
“So perfect for me.” She mumbled, her speech impaired as she was too busy marking you to lean up. “Taking me so well, aren't you? Is that what you want? You want me to fill you up? Make you so full of cum?”
Your instant agreeance made the girl chuckle. “Want you to fill me up. Wanna make my captain proud, Niamhy. Want you so bad.”
When hearing those words fall from your mouth, Niamh couldn't help but moan. She didn't know you had been turned on by her captaincy. If she had known prior, she would've brought the fucking armband home with her. She wouldn't fucked you multiple times with the band stuffed in your mouth, around her arm, or anywhere that remotely turned you on. She would've been lying if she hadn't found your unknown kink arousing, for the thriving want of tasting you grew as your sweet nothings filled the air.
Niamh pulled her head down, kissing down your abdomen and torso, looking back once more at the mess she had made over your chest before kneading your hips for some sense of relief.
“You've made me so proud, Baby.” She found the waistband of your pants once more, this time, taking her time to find the strength to pull them down. “But rewards can vary, remember? Sometimes, good girls get to choose what they want when they've made their captain proud.”
“Just want you, Niamh.” You whined, crying out when you lifted your hips for what felt like the hundredth time, only to meet nothing.
Your girlfriend hummed, inching down your pants, hoping you’d make your decision more sufficiently than that. “I'm afraid you're gonna have to be more specific than that, my love. Good girls who get to choose their rewards have to use their words.”
When you didn't immediately reply, Niamh shook her head, looking towards the draw that sat by your bedside table. “I thought you said you were my good girl?”
“I am! Just want you, though.”
Niamh knew when you got like this, you just wanted to be told what to do. You were always the quieter one in every situation, introverted and kept to your own. In many ways, Niamh liked that about you. Your outgoing person today against United was something she could get used to. But she wanted to make you feel more comfortable in speaking your truth. She wanted you to know that your decision was valued among discussions. She was not sure how to implement this into everyday life just yet, but she found that during sex, even if Niamh was dominating the exchange — which nine times out of ten she was — she wanted you to have autonomy over what you did.
This was just one example among many, and when you didn't comply, she’d have different methods to get you speaking.
She waited an extra moment just in case you changed your mind before leaning towards the table and searching for something in particular.
You were so subbed out that you didn't even notice the noise until you felt Niamh pull you upright, pulling you up to stand in front of the bed while she peeled off her top, leaving her in a sports bra and training shorts.
When you noticed what she held in her hands, you groaned. “Niamhy—”
“Shut up and listen.” She ordered, her firmness overpowering the contrasted softness she once held before. You straightened up, rubbing your legs together and moaning at the basic sense of relief that flooded down to your clit.
“Take off your pants. Keep your underwear on.”
You made no argument in that, taking no time in chucking your pants in the opposite direction, leaving your tarnished, drenched underwear on show.
“Come here.” Niamh stretched her legs out and beckoned you over. “Don't sit but hover.”
You did as you were told, not entirely wanting to act like a brat after you've just been promised a reward. Your legs ached from the game and from waiting for some kind of relief, shaking ever so slightly as you waited over Niamh’s leg for further instruction.
“Here’s what's going to happen,” You felt your cheeks darken at your girlfriend's firm tone, biting your lips and watching the woman play with the vibrator in her hand.“Since you expect me to do all the work and make all the decisions, you've landed yourself here.” You nodded intently, not exactly sure where this was heading. “You've got to realise that you need to tell me what you want to do sometimes, okay? It's not always about what I want to do. You've got to want it to. Do you understand?”
Even with the sternness of her tone, her underlying motives were precious. You nodded again, your legs growing even more sore as your thighs flexed at the stretch over Niamh.
“Yes, Niamh. I promise I do.”
Your girlfriend inevitably noticed your ache but chose to continue on her rant, knowing that you knew you weren't going to go to sleep tonight unsatisfied.
“You’ll get your reward after this,” With a flick of a switch, you heard the vibrator sound from beneath where you hovered. “You're going to get off on my thigh and the vibrator without my help. All I'm going to do is watch you.”
You let out a guttural moan when Niamh placed the toy against your thigh, looking at her with the utmost displeasure when she chose to put it there instead of your clit.
“You get to come,” Niamh grabbed both of your hips, squeezing them and making sure they were up and away from any friction. “But only when you to tell me two ways you want me to fuck you tonight.”
Your jaw slightly dropped at that. You were never the one to say anything incredibly vulgar, always alluding to what you wanted through noises and actions. Niamh always got slightly annoyed when you weren't confident in what you wanted, especially after your climax when she’d cuddle up beside you and rid of all the juices that leaked from your core. Niamh knew how to please you better than anyone else could, and she knew that you knew that. In fact, she took great pride in knowing that you trusted her to get you off without needing to tell her. But it was a long time coming. You knew that Niamh wanted you to speak your truth, not just in the bedroom but everywhere. You didn't want to stand out or say something not worthwhile. You were quite content with staying under the radar.
But despite this, Niamh waited for your approval of the idea, only turning up the vibrator and placing her hands behind her head when you spoke audible clearance.
You lowered yourself onto Niamh’s thigh as soon as possible, reeling your head backwards when the vibrations made their way into your core. Your girlfriend groaned st the sight of you rubbing your heat against her, finding it difficult not to grab you and fuck you right then and there. She watched you roll your hips back and forth, letting you use the headboard for you to balance yourself with extra support. It took you a while to find a rhythm, only consistent in your movements when some of the fabric of your underwear rubbed up against your clit, making you moan out at the contact of your swollen nub. Niamh saw the vibrator appear in and out of your humps, finding herself staring at the gleaming patch of arousal coating her thigh. The toy buzzes against your thigh, aiding you in your endeavours to get off.
The flustered state and external shyness in what you were meant to say daunted you as you felt your climax approaching.
You refused to look at Niamh in hopes that she would forget about her orders and watch you cum all over her instead.
The fabric against your clit rubbed itself back and forth diligently to the extent that the combination of the vibrator, and the slick made your breathing uneven and the coil in your stomach build to higher distances. You felt your tits move as you kneaded one and pitched the other nipple, closing your eyes and imagining Niamh.
You let out a pornographic moan, euphoria almost washing over you when your core clenched around nothing and started to release. You were about to finally feel a sense of relief when hands found your hips, lifting you away from any friction whatsoever as the vibrator was switched off.
“I can do this all night, y’know.” You heard her say, scoffing when you pouted. “I know how to get off on my own. I've got the videos of you cumming all over my face to prove it.”
“I was so close.”
“You could be so close every single time,” Niamh took the vibrator away, wiping the creamy liquid that coated the toy. “But if you do it again, I’ll edge you all night until you're overstimulated and forget everything except my name. You’ll be begging to cum and you won't even think about cumming for the next month.”
“Niamh, that’s—”
She cut you off with a sudden buzz directly on your clit. Your eyes widened at the vibrator next to your nub, moaning and crying out at the instant pleasure that fell over you. Your core was already sensitive to the teasing and edging, so your senses were heightened at the feeling. You knew Niamh wasn't bluffing, and you knew you wouldn't be able to get away with this.
She slipped off your underwear, letting the air reach your swollen clit.
“You're going to hump my thigh with this vibrator inside of you and tell me how you want me to fuck you.” She started. “Or, every night, I tie you up and make you watch me fuck myself to videos of you for the next month.”
She lowered you back onto her thigh, smirking when you whined at the vibrator pushing its tip inside of you. The toy wasn't able to fit wholly inside of you, only having to latch onto your clit and slightly inside your hole for it to work its magic. It made you crave for Niamh’s finger to fill you up and push your prior orgasms into you. You wanted her to fill you up with her strap and fuck you into ecstasy while you screamed out her name over and over again. You remembered many nights when Niamh would coat her strap with her own cum and fuck it into you. Her phone would be propped up somewhere, showcasing the juices forced up your hole. Niamh has a photo of you doing absolutely anything.
“Niamhy, want you— want you to—”
“Tell me, sweetheart, what do you want?”
When she was away for National Camps, and you couldn't Facetime due to the time difference, you sent her a video of you fingering yourself while whining about how much you missed her fingers.
“Want you to fill me— with your fingers-”
“Gonna make sure you're full of me, baby.”
She had a video of you getting yourself off with her watching. She had photos of you in all types of positions. She had an album of you screaming her name, calling her everything under the sun, cause she told you to and you always complied.
“Your mouth— your strap, Niamhy, want your dick inside me so bad.”
“Pound into until you're subbed out, am I?”
You remember watching a video of you riding her strap with her England Jersey on, bouncing up and down on the toy with your tits bobbing in front of the camera.
“Want to ride you like now. Eat me— eat me out, Niamhy, baby.”
“Fuck, baby, say my name.”
You knew that if you didn't comply, Niamh had plenty of things to keep her occupied.
The vibrator rolled inside of you, sending your back arching and heat throbbing. “Niamh, baby, I’m— fuck! I'm so close!”
Niamh was flushed, encaptured by the visual show of your tits and the way you bounced on her thigh so that the vibrator would dig its way into your core.
“Come for me, baby.” She spoke, jolting her knee so that the pressure in between your thighs would double.
You screamed, letting out the loudest of moans, as you felt your come coat the vibrator entirely, leaking all over Niamh’s thigh and yours.
“Such a good girl for me, aren't you gorgeous.” Niamh’s voice was raspy and hoarse. “Ride it out for me, baby. Yeah— just like that.” Her grip on your hips sent your orgasm out as she moved your hips back and forth until it was too much.
You moved to the side, collapsing so that your back was against the bed.
Niamh climbed on top of you, a devilish, content smirk lining her lips.
“We’re not done yet, love.”
You whined, but internally, you were excited for the night you were about to have.

Okay I'm now home from watching the Barbie movie, so I have to bestow some knowledge upon you fuckers (aka me infodumping actual Barbie lore because there were a lot of references there).
So, first and foremost, in one scene, we see "Earring Ken" and "Growing up Skipper" (very short scene, don't worry if you missed it). But these were actual Barbie dolls released by Mattel way back whenever (See pictures below)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, "Earring Ken" was actually "Earring Magic Ken". His whole thing was Mattel wanted to be cool and hip with the kids or whatever, so they created him. Except their idea of going out and finding inspiration and information as to what was "hip with the kids", was gay bars. And raves. As you can imagine, Earring Magic Ken did not stay on shelves too long (about 6 months) (though he did sell actually really well and I believe is still one of their most sold despite only being available for such a short time). I'm pretty sure his necklace charm could be swapped out too and also worn as actual earrings. HOWEVER, the part about Earring Magic Ken that kills me, is that because they went to gay bars, not only did they give him a mesh shirt and shit (as seen above), but the charm on his necklace? Is a cock ring. Did Mattel realize this? Probably the fuck not, but that's what it was💕
Growing up Skipper was also an actual doll, and just like in the movie, if you twisted her arm, she grew boobs. She also grew like an inch taller or something. I'm pretty sure she also was not on the shelf long, but she was introduced in the 1970s. So that's fun
Next up, Midge and Allan (who both play slightly bigger roles in the film but here's pictures anyways)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So Midge was Barbie's best friend, and was released specifically because Mattel found themselves faced with high demand for a pregnant Barbie doll. But of course, Barbie can never get married or be pregnant or have kids, because it ages her, and obviously seeming a little older means Barbie is suddenly worthless and unappealing (Woo patriarchy!). So their solution was Midge, who, ironically, ended up being everything Barbie couldn't (which is kind of funny since she's supposed to be able to be any and everything ever). So, them making her only personality trait in the movie her pregnancy, is kind of spot on. She did have actual dolls initially but then seemed to disappear for a while, having been replaced with other "Barbie's best friend!"'s. Actually they also replaced Barbie's siblings several times but that's another post. Midge did eventually return though in Life in the Dreamhouse (See below)
Tumblr media
One thing they never mentioned in the movie, however, is that Allan was actually Midge's boyfriend. I don't have too much on him besides that but I think it's worth mentioning.
Anywho, there's my rant on some of the characters in the Barbie movie, if you made it this far, thanks :))

LOVED the last Leah smut it got me thinking would you be interested in writing something inspired by the new Dyson commercial that one scene where she's on her knees?
Leah Williamson| Sore Loser|
____________________________________________________
I know it's been a while since that commercial but... we were all thinking it don't lie
TW: strap on use, praise kink, mommy kink, light bondage, degradation, taking pictures during sex,
____________________________________________________
Your girlfriend is insanely competitive. Leah is always doing the most to win whenever there's any sort of competition. Especially when it comes to football. It doesn't matter if it's an important match or a friendly, Leah wants to win. But that's not how football works. Losing is a part of the game.
A part of the game Leah definitely doesn't know how to handle.
The skipper all but slapped your hand away when you went to her after the final whistle. You watched with a frown as she went straight for the tunnels, ignoring or snapping at anyone who tried to talk to her.
This is why the blonde is in this position right now. It's not a punishment, you know that's not what Leah needs, just a little something to help her forget about the match and arsenal's horrible performance.
"You look so pretty baby, taking my cock like a good slut."
Leah whines and tries to hide her face in her arms that are tied in front her. Your girlfriend always looked amazing from this view. Ass up, exposing her wet pussy for you to take, with her upper body pushed down on the bed. What makes it even better though is the gorgeous jersey she is currently wearing. It belongs to you with your number and your last name proudly printed on the back. You pull the fabric down a little bit, just to make sure that you can see your name clearly before you start slowly grinding your hips against Leah's.
You've teased the blonde quite a lot today and you're more than impressed with how well she's taken it. You've been completely still inside her for some time now, simply content on snapping pictures of her rather than actually fucking her. Leah is dripping, her juices smeared on her inner thighs and her muscles twitch pathetically at the slightest of movement.
You enjoy having her like this, when she's so desperate a single touch sends her into overdrive.
You rub the soft flesh of her ass appreciatively and hum in delight when Leah's breath hitches. The slow grind of your hips doesn't stop as you start to paw and squeeze at her ass and Leah whimpers and squirms. She mumbles something, her voice muffled by her hands. "I didn't hear you baby."
Leah throws a glance over her shoulder, her blue eyes full of desperate tears when they meet yours, and she whines needily.
"Please mommy, fuck me. I need you."
You grin menacingly when Leah finally begs like the sweet girl she is. You pull out all the way before slamming back in with a powerful thrust. Leah moans loudly and her head falls back down in between her tied hands. You go with slow but hard and deep thrusts making sure to hit all the spots that make her squeal and scream. You groan at the sight of the usually dominant captain on her knees for you moaning and whining like a whore and you pick up your phone once more this time angling the phone so you can capture her greedy cunt swallowing your strap. Leah clenches hard around the strap when she hears the clicking sound of your phone's camera and you smirk down at her.
"God you're such a pathetic slut for mommy." Leah doesn't answer but you don't expect her too, the blonde's brain so high on pleasure that the only thing she can do is moan and scream for you. After you put your phone down you rub over her clit with your free hand and thrashes against the soft sheets of the bed.
"Oh god! Please mommy I wanna come!"
You offer nothing but a chuckle at Leah's pleas as you continue to pound her into the mattress mercilessly. You feel Leah's clit throb against your fingers and you push her head against the sheets when the blonde starts begging again. Leah gets the message and shuts up, hoping that she can hold on long enough because the last thing she wants is to come without permission. You feel the other end of the strap pushing deep in you and you chase your own high, forgetting about Leah for a while.
You groan and grip Leah's hips tightly while your hips stutter and your pace turns fast and sloppy. "You're so fucking tight baby. I'm gonna to come. You want mommy to come inside your pretty cunt?"
"Yes, please!"
You moan quietly and topple over leah as you feel your orgasm approach quickly. Leah on the other hand couldn't fight back her tears. She was bitting her lip hard trying not to come, she oh so desperately wants to be a good girl for you. You take a while to gather yourself after you come. When you do you turn your head towards Leah, moving her hair away from her face and you coo when you notice the tear tracks on her cheeks. You press chaste kisses on her skin and rub her clit again. Leah moans and grinds her hips down on your hand. You pull back to focus on your thrusts not wanting to tease Leah any longer.
"Come for me pretty girl. I know you want to."
Leah comes with a scream after a few seconds but you don't stop your movements, helping Leah ride out her high. After a few minutes of pressing soft kisses all over Leah's face you pull out slowly.
You always feel bad whenever Leah looses a match. Mainly because of how sad she gets. But when you think about how she lets you ravish her after you secretly hope arsenal looses every game.

the fun part II l.williamson ~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
06 ★ ~ l. williamson
dating a professional footballer naturally had its undeniable advantages, and being with the one and only, - leah catherine williamson, certainly had its benefits. her god sculpted physique, along with her strikingly cocky personality, was a constant source of worship, motivating you to become a regular gym enthusiast yourself. this of course meant taking it upon yourself to try and successfully make the gym as enjoyable as you could for everyone. even going as far as creating a roster so all the girls could enjoy their respective music, even though majority loathed the exercise off the pitch, rather wanting to do what they did loved the most, - playing football.
with the 23/24 barclays super league fastly approaching, morale was at an all time high, with a large portion of the girls just returning from the world cup, - your own team having been the first national team to make it to a semi-final in australian history.
however, even though you and the english skipper had been together for quite some time now, you had never officially worked out in the gym together before. you dedicating your body to football as much as you could, given you were a fresh transfer, and leah spending majority of her time in the private gym or in the physiotherapy wing, recovering from her ACL injury.
but in this particular moment, you found yourself wishing you had moved to arsenal earlier.
your eyes were fixated on the blonde, captivated by the way her stomach glistened with a thin layer of sweat, emphasising the work she had spent on defining her stomach, during the international break. her black, training top clung tightly to her body, she had pulled the sleeves up, revealing the captain’s strong and large biceps, while her shorts showcased her muscular thighs with perfection.
you tried to concentrate on your gym partner, - steph, the australian defender and yourself were attached at the hip, having first met at an U17 camp, you had immediately clicked, as you had both gotten older you often were tagged "the work wives," which guaranteed you were sure to hear remarks from both leah and dean, weekly.
praising your resilience, steph couldn't figure out why your breathing had suddenly become so shallow and uneven. trying to gain your attention, she waved her hand in front of your face a couple times over, but your thoughts were consumed by the blonde goddess doing weights in front of you.
leah, always looking for you in a crowded room, noticed your consistent gaze on her. Increasing the weight, she turned over her shoulder, wearing a smug and cocky grin on her face. she turned her body to face you, slowly lifting her sweaty shirt over her head and tossing it aside where a couple of the girls were stretching. if only the she knew what she was doing to you, - newsflash, the blonde knew exactly what she was doing, she always did.
you snapped out of your trance, attempting to regain your composure and focus on your exercises. however, her presence in the gym was overwhelming. every curl of the obnoxiously heavy weight she performed, every flex of her strong arms, seemed to hypnotise you, making it impossible to concentrate.  “are you alright y/n/n?” steph asked, resting a comforting hand on your back. you didn’t respond, too infatuated with the blonde. “i think you should take a break, yeah? i'll let you catch your breath.” steph helped you to stand, walking away shaking her head in confusion.
the sight of her well-defined abs and the sweat trickling down them was mesmerising. "enjoying the view?" she yelled over at you, her voice laced with confidence, - she knew she could do the simplest actions that would get a cracking reaction out of you. a few of your teammates exercising nearby rolled their eyes at their vice captain.
“you alright there, baby?” the blonde finished off her exercise and started to make her way over to your gym mat. even the way she walked, amazed you. "i... i can't concentrate," you confessed, your voice barely audible over the loud gym music and nearby chatter of your teammates. leah’s taunting chuckle filled the air, a deep, alluring laugh that sent shivers down your spine. "maybe I can help you with that," she purred, setting down her phone and water. she cockily approached you, a smug grin plastered on her face, her piercing eyes fixed on yours, filled with desire and hunger. she took a seat on the mat, slotting her body behind your own.
she extended a soft hand towards you, a silent invitation for you to sit on her lap. "come here, love," she asked, but you knew better than to take this as a request, - it was an order. you hesitated for a moment before giving in to the undeniable pull she had over you. taking her hand, you let her guide you closer until your back rested against her front. her touch electrifies your body, igniting a fire within you, and you find yourself unwillingly relaxing into her strong arms.
leah’s hands settled on the side of your thighs, beginning to guide through the exercise. your breath caught in your throat as her fingers traced aimless patterns on the skin where your shorts had ridden up, sending shocks throughout your body. after about 15 reps, you let your head fall softly onto her shoulder. lifting your mouth to her neck, “le, we could get caught.” you whispered, trying to stay as invisible as you could in the crowded gym. she moved her hands up and down your arms. “i know baby, isn't that the fun part?” she responded, placing her chin on your head, exhaling deeply into your hair. the tight proximity between the two of you and intense exercise left you breathless, as you struggled to find words. your mind completely overtaken by the blonde. "you know," she murmured above your ear, her voice sending cold shivers down your spine, "i've always wanted to be your spotter." her words hung in the air, laden with unspoken promises and desire, leaving you utterly starstruck.
“you think we can finish this at home, darling?” leah whispered lowly in your ear, lightly kissing your neck.

Hiii! Can you please do an angst with a happy ending for Alessia Russo x reader? Like r doesn't think something is big of a deal but for Alessia it is and they argue and r is in the doghouse but can you please make it a happy ending?
Tumblr media
spin the bottle | alessia russo x reader
based after the england vs scotland game for the olympics qualifiers, let’s imagine leah wasn’t still injured 🤗
You didn’t win. Despite the six goals your team scored. Your hopes of heading to the olympics and playing for your country was out the window.
In light of this event, you and the squad decided to deal with the loss in what felt like the most appropriate way; get ‘pissed out your head’ drunk. Deciding to head back to Beth’s who had the biggest place.
You and Alessia made it back to your own place first of course, deciding to change out of the outfit you was wearing that screamed ‘homeless’. “Hurry up, we’re going to be late man.” shouting down the hallway as you waited for your girlfriend to finish up doing god knows what - the perks of dating a femme!
“I’m coming, i’m coming.” She turned the corner, raking a comb through her blonde locks. “Without me? you wound me Russo.” Taking notice of your crude comment, she slapped your arm while you just stayed smirking.
“What time do you call this?” Stanway was the one to answer the door when you arrived at Beth and Viv’s, you wondered how those two were coping with one of them qualifying and one just missing out.
“Blame miss ‘my hair doesn’t look right’ over here.” Nudging Alessia’s side as you remember how you watched her curse herself in the mirror for her hair not ‘staying in the right place’ a good twenty minutes before.
With being the last ones to arrive, and the get together in full swing, everyone was already in conversation with one another. Alessia offered to get you a drink which you took up as you threw yourself onto the sofa where your fellow man united teammates ella and millie sat. “Jesus christ y/n, watch the glass.” tooney shouted as you nearly spilled her vodka all over her outfit.
“My bad. What are we talking about over here anyways?” Millie proceeded to sift through her camera roll before passing you her phone, showing a picture of a hotel somewhere abroad. “Was just telling tooney here where i’m going over winter break, nice isn’t it?” Zooming in on the picture you nodded and passed the phone back. “Where is it you’re going?” Alessia having come back and handing you a beer which you take a swig of. “Croatia.”
“right whoever wants to play beer pong come on up!” Stanway was now stood on a barstool, projecting her voice through the open-plan space. How she hadn’t fallen off it you didn’t know, considering it was wobbling like mad and the brunette wasn’t completely sober at this point.
“Fancy a game?” Turning your attention to the blonde sat in your lap and watched as she nodded. you was split into two teams of four. One team consisted of you, lucy, chloe and niamh while the other was alessia, leah, lotte and beth. “oh my god, of course the arsenal clan makes up a group.” You scoffed as you saw the group line up behind one another. “Afraid you’ll lose y/n?” the england captain smirked while you dismissed her.
Leah went first, bouncing the ping-pong ball on the table for it to land in the middle cup. “Lucky shot Williamson.” You said as you pick up the drink, it was some sort of brown colour which you only assume had been a result of multiple liquids mixed together. Knocking it back down your throat your suspicions were confirmed as the taste practically made you gip.
Taking your turn, you threw the ball and watched it bounce into the far left cup. “Get in!” High-fiving Lucy making your way to the back of the line as the skipper drank the cup’s contents.
After multiple turns, your team now had one cup to take down while the other team had three. Niamh was the lucky lady who got to throw the ball, taking on none other than your girlfriend. She landed it directly in the plastic cup, your team now celebrating the win.
As the night continued so did the alcohol consumption. You could confidently say everyone in the house was at least a little tipsy. It was fun seeing everyone’s drunken personality come out. You had Lucy, Lauren j, Georgia and Rachel claiming the ‘irresponsible drunks’ title. Leah, Alessia, and Chloe the affectionate drunks. Beth, Kiera and Alex fulfilling the ‘wistful’ drunk stage, being reminiscent on their memories. You found yourself in the ‘happy drunk’ category along with the rest of the gang.
“Shit.” You say as you stumble, causing a half full beer bottle to topple over, spilling onto the wooden floor. As you looked for something to clean it with, rachel took notice and smirked. “you know what this calls for? SPIN THE BOTTLE!” With everyone in their buzzed state they didn’t oppose when daly started manoeuvring them into the lounge urging them to take a seat on the ground.
“Is this normal spin the bottle or PG version?” Keira asked which again lead to another wicked smirk form on daly’s lips. “How about every three goes there has to be a kiss.” There didn’t seem to be that much disagreement on the idea and so went ahead with it.
Daly went first off course, suspiciously landing on her bff Millie in which she dared her to down six shots of tequila one after the other. Somehow the girl managed it and props to her because you could hardly muster a single tequila shot.
The game was getting more intriguing with each turn. James took control of Charles’ instagram - posting something embarrassing onto her story, Zelem gave a quick peck to Kiera which got some wolf-whistles, Chloe had to draw something explicit onto Alex’s forehead and so on.
It was Leah’s turn next and she also so happened to the third person, meaning whoever the bottle stopped on was the lucky lady. Watching as she spun it harshly and did multiple rotations around the room, you noticed the bottle starting to slow down as it made its way to your side of the room.
“Well aren’t you the lucky one y/l/n.” The blonde said as she crawled over to you. “Bold statement Williamson, I think you’ll find it’s the other way around.” She rolled her eyes playfully before placing her hand on your neck, raking you in closer. Soft lips met your own in what was a tender kiss. The centre-back didn’t stop there though; she proceeded by tugging on your bottom lip and swiping her tongue across it. You parted your mouth which allowed the blonde to take advantage by snaking her tongue inside. You didn’t know if it was your drunken state, or the simple fact that the blonde locks in front of your face was reminding you of a certain someone, but you’d be lying if you said you wasn’t getting at least the tiniest bit turned on.
Pulling away, Leah moved back to her original spot. A shocked silence fell over the group which you thought was strange. Well, you did at first - until you saw your girlfriend get up and walk out the room with no warning.
You took your queue to follow her and called out after her. She had gone and grabbed her coat and walked out the door, shutting it in your face.
“Less? Where are you going?” You scurried to catch up with her while at the same time hopping trying to put your trainers back on your feet. “I’m going home y/n, i’ll order an uber just please leave me alone.”
“You’re seriously not mad about the kiss are you?”
Alessia let out an exasperated sigh. “You tell me y/n, maybe i’ll go and make out with one of our teammates and see how it makes you feel.” She wasn’t even looking at you while saying all this, instead typing something out on her phone.
“Oh come on, we wasn’t making out. You’re being ridiculous.” Alessia wasn’t the only one annoyed now. You was simply playing the game and just so happened to be the person the bottle stopped on, you didn’t get what the big deal was.
“Y/n you had your tongues down each other’s throats, it was more than ‘just a peck’. Last time I checked Leah isn’t your girlfriend - I am.” It was clear the forward was getting emotional with the tiny but noticeable cracks in her voice.
“Yeah exactly; i’m your girlfriend, so I don’t see what the big fuss is about. I’m not about to run off into the sunset with Williamson.” Speaking of the devil, Leah and Keira come outside and walked towards you. “Everything okay out here?”
“Just dandy! Leah can you please tell Alessia over here that our kiss didn’t mean anything.” As if realisation just sunk in Leah raised her eyebrows, “Shit sorry Less, I didn’t even think about you and y/n - but I can promise the kiss was only in fun.”
Alessia gave a halfhearted smile. “It’s okay Lee, i’m not mad at you. You are single after all.” Now turning back and glaring at you. “So you’re mad at me and not Leah? fucking hell Less I don’t know what you want from me.” Holding your hands up in the air incredulously. Kiera nudged your side clearly wanting this ordeal to be over with “Just apologise to her y/n.”
“Apologise for what?! playing the game? following the rules? She’s acting like i’ve committed a crime for pete’s sake!”
“You’re insufferable sometimes y/n, you really are. Don’t bother coming home tonight.” As if on cue, a white toyota prius came rolling up outside the house, the blonde getting into the back seat. Watching as it made a u-turn and drive off, you felt a hand on your shoulder. “Come on y/n, you can crash at mine for the night and find a way to get back into her good books.” the barcelona player offered.
You nodded and re-entered the house just to gather your belongings and say bye to everyone. It’s safe to say you found it hard to fall asleep without the warm presence next to you that you’ve become accustomed to over the last year. The alcohol effects had started to wear off and you replayed the events from earlier in your head.
Looking back you could see how you may of overreacted and got defensive a little too quick. ‘Why am I such a dickhead’ You grabbed your phone and debated texting the hurt girl but chickened out, figuring you’re the last person she wants to hear from at this very moment.
You figured the best plan of action was to wake up early and talk to Alessia and hope it will resolve the issue, shutting your eyes trying to fall into a slumber.
Making your way out the apartment at around 9am after saying thanks to Kiera you headed to the local corner shop deciding to buy your girlfriend’s favourite chocolate and get her a bouquet of flowers. While you knew gifts shouldn’t exactly be used as a way to excuse your behaviour, you gathered it couldn’t make things any worse than what they were.
Lucky for you, Kiera’s apartment wasn’t far from yours, only a twenty minute walk or so which you was grateful for because winter mornings in england weren’t exactly the warmest. Knocking on the door you wait for it to be opened. The younger girl answered and looked you up and down before reluctantly moving to the side so you could slide in.
“Hey.” You’re the first one to speak as Alessia heads into the lounge. She was wearing her favourite pair of grey sweatpants and a navy blue crew neck t-shirt, not to mention her blue slippers that had smiley faces embroidered onto them. Damn did she look good you thought but best not to say out loud given your current circumstances.
“So I had a think over how I reacted last night and I can see how I was in the wrong and just wanted to apologise.” You pulled out the chocolate and flowers that was hiding behind your back “-And I know it’s no consolation but I got you these.” Alessia took them from you and placed them down on the coffee table.
“It’s okay y/n, I had a think last night too and guess I overreacted to the whole kiss situation.” Scooting closer to her, you take her hands. “No Less; your feelings were totally valid and I completely ignored them. You’re right, I’m your partner - I shouldn’t be kissing other people, even if it is just for a game.”
The blonde sighed, “I guess I just felt a little threatened by Leah after seeing you two kiss.” You was now confused. “Threatened?”
“Oh come on y/n, youse two are always bantering and playfully flirting, not to mention in training the both of you are always laughing together about something. I even thought you were dating when I first met you both.” The mention of this made you feel bad, never did you intend to make Alessia feel like this. While you and Leah may be overly close, you’d never date one another.
“Babe, if there’s any woman out there for me; it’s you. Clearly i’ve not been a very good girlfriend if i’ve made you feel insecure in our relationship, i’m sorry.”
You offered your arms out and waited for Alessia to give into the hug. She slid under your arm and rested her head on your chest. “Are we okay?” You asked now stroking your hand through her golden locks. “We’re okay.” She confirmed.
Breathing a sigh of relief you leant down and kissed her head. “Good. Being in Alessia Russo’s doghouse was not fun.”
It’s not everyday someone like you ends up with a girl like Alessia and clearly you took it for granted. As you sat there in contentment, you vowed to yourself to never let something stupid get in the way of your relationship again.

Since I’ve been going pretty hard on dark fics lately….
Who’s up for some childhood friend Simon?
In his worst moments, when he thinks of his inevitable premature and violent end, he hopes that he’ll be able to hold out long enough to die in your arms. Even if they have to fly him straight from the battlegrounds to you, lay him in the grass outside your flat, he wants your face and voice that puts him to his final sleep.
Most moments aren’t his worst moments. But he still thinks of you and prepares. Everything is going to you, of course. Price knows. You’ll get Simon’s tags, his mask, a flag. You’ll get a letter.
He started one night after you two reunited, a little drunk from a thank-fuck-we-survived post mission celebration. It’s a little wobbly and ramble in some places, but never threw it out - never reread it either. Finished it in one hour, three pages long.
He’s added onto it since then. On hard night, nights he misses you. When he’s nostalgic and tipsy, when he wakes up from nightmares soaked in your blood. It’s about 12 pages now. Different colors of ink, different types of pages. Even one slanted and awkward because his writing hand was broken so he had to use the other.
He doesn’t bring it home to you with him. Doesn’t want you to accidentally discover it and think it’s something else. It stays where Johnny will find it if the worst happens; Simon trusts him to give it to you.
He never really thought about it the other way round. Couldn’t stand to face the prospect again. Not when he can feel the bullet scar beneath your shirt sometimes, or sees you rubbing at it in cold weather.
(He doesn’t consider it his worst moments but he knows you would - that he’d crawl in that grave with you.)
But it’s almost happened again. You’re sitting caddy-corner to him at a briefing table, listening to Price as he explains the situation. Simon’s watching you watching Price. Your shoulders are relaxed, fingers fiddling with your temporary access card. Not nervous, just occupied while you focus.
You’re not worried at all. Simon feels like he’s falling apart right here. One shake of the stupid uneven table and all his pieces will just slide apart into a useless pile.
Without looking away, your hand slides across the table and hooks around his. He doesnt startle - he’s ghost right now, and ghost is rock solid - but his fingers twitch around yours. You shoot him a quick smile and then refocus on Price, picking at a worn patch on the skeleton design of Simon’s glove.
Duct tape for a collapsing soul.
Price concludes, “You’ll stay here, safe and sound with an escort.”
Simon speaks up for the first time in what feels like days.
“I’m not bein’ deployed, skipper. Not right now.”
Price snorts. “‘Course not. You’re on leave with little miss here in sweden.”
“Sweden,” Simon repeats, unimpressed. Not one of the Laswell’s better lies.
“Land of tall blondes,” you chime.
“No one else knows I’m a blond.”
You shrug. “Their loss.”
Simon snorts, you grin, and Price dismisses you both in short order.
You’re staying in Simon’s room; the captain didn’t even offer you temporary quarters. Not that you minded, happy to toss your things amongst his and climb into his bed.
He cleans his favorite gun impulsively at the desk while you futz around on his computer - probably investigating the latest set of unreleased movies he bribed from Laswell.
“You get ten minutes of brooding left and then we’re getting food and watching a movie.”
He scowls down at the magazine, oiled cloth in hand.
“I’m not brooding.”
“It’s like you have your own lighting. I swear those shadows are darker next to you.”
“That’s just how light works.”
“Oh it would have been so much cooler if you said, like, ‘I am the shadows’.”
He pauses, casts you a long, flat look. You beam.
“Ooh, yeah, with that face too! C’mon, say it!”
He blows out a dramatic breath, then grumpily repeats, “I am the shadows.”
You laugh, hopping up from the bed to approach. He shifts his gear out of the way, clearing a space for you to lean against his desk, your knee touching his.
“Im alright, Si. There’s nowhere safer I could be.”
He sets the pieces in his hands aside, flexes his fingers spasmodically.
“Could just not know me. Anywhere would be safer than knowing me.”
You click your tongue, purely derisive. “That’s stupid.”
“That’s just facts, babes.”
You shake your head. “No, it’s your guilt complex. There’s nowhere I’d rather be than right here.”
He arches his eyebrows - not that you’ll be able to see it past the mask. But you know him well enough to just know.
“Right here?” he challenges. “On a military base? With who fuckin’ knows out to get you? Just because you lived two doors down from me in kindergarten?”
You sigh, that one that tells him you’re employing extra patience purely out of love and experience.
“Right here, Si. Wherever you are,” you confirm.
“Should cut your losses,” he says, trying his best impression of the machine he became after he lost everyone but you. He’s never felt less protected in the mask.
As always, you see right through him.
“A bullet couldn’t take me from you, Simon Riley. The ‘Ghost’ doesn’t stand a chance.” You curl your fingers around the back of his neck, duck down until your forehead knocks against the hard mask’s. “Because it’s me n’ you ‘til the sun stops rising.”
An oath made of picked daisies and shared blood. The weight of it presses on his chest so hard he feels buried again. Layers of earth crushing him, you up above, the only heaven he knows or needs.
“Me ‘n you,” he rasps.
You let him stay like that another moment. Absorbing the warmth of your fingertips, crept beneath the edge of the balaclava. Breathing with you until he’s sure you’re synched. Heart, breath, blood, down to the firing of your neurons.
“Alright, no more brooding. You’ll feel better with some food.”
Simon exhales, sloughing off the gloom and pessimism that weighs on Ghost’s shoulders. You’re here, right here. Nothing will happen to you when he’s still breathing.
“Think I have a few more minutes.”
“Nah, it compounds when I brood with you.”
“You brood like a rainbow broods.”
You snort and flick at his mask, tugging him up with you towards the door. He lets himself settle, listening to your cheerful babble all the way to the mess.

small intimate interactions ficlet
"lee! get off." you whined as the blonde collapsed herself into you, long limbs wrapping around your waist trapping you in her arms. "no you're comfy." the english girl mumbled into your shirt as you tried to yank her hands off.
"i need to go and shower you leech!" you laughed as leah leaned more of her bodyweight onto you, the two of you sat side by side by your cubby in the change rooms after training. "yeah you do actually, you smell terrible." leah agreed scrunching up her nose but still made no move to get off of you as you scoffed.
"god i feel sorry for your future wife having to put up with you, i'll be sure to give her a medal." you rolled your eyes as the skipper grinned, kissing your cheek with a loud mwah and letting go of you.
"leah!" you shot her a glare as she whipped you with her towel once you'd stood and started to walk back to the showers. "wasn't me!" the blonde shrugged tossing her towel back into her cubby. "oh yes i suppose it was casper the friendly footballer ghost was it?" your voice dripped with sarcasm.
"must have been. i'll chat to the staff, get them to give the place a good cleansing! cheeky little thing he is." leah tutted swatting at the air as if to ward off bad spirits as you couldn't help but smile.
"you are such a child." you stripped off your jersey and tossed it so it landed on her head, the blonde peeling it off and staring after you with a grin.
"please let me meddle. they are disgustingly oblivious about how much they're in love, its been years now its killing me!" beth begged lia from the other side of the room who shook her head.
"no! they will figure it out on their own whenever they are ready." the swiss warned sternly, beths puppy dog eyes doing nothing as the blonde scowled and let out a huff.
"nah im backin beth here. they just need a good kick up the arse to realise!" katie wandered over as beth gave lia a pleading look who once more shook her head. "viv, help me out?" she looked to the dutchie who backed up her point making beth groan again.
"look! case in point leahs been ready to leave for ages, but she's clearly just waiting around for her even though they drove separately. they're probably off for one of their little movie night sleepovers none of us are ever invited to." beth rolled her eyes.
"probably. but thats their choice, you don't get to meddle and mess about and stick your noses into their personal relationship whatever it may be. let nature run its course!" lia warned sternly again before bidding all three girls goodbye, wandering over to hug leah goodbye.
"you're not leaving yet?" lia questioned as they broke apart, the blonde bouncing her knee as she twirled her keys around on her finger. "nah, movie night. gotta give that one a proper education on the historical importance of prime english cinema!" leah yelled the last few words in your direction as you appeared now showered and changed, flipping her off.
lia leaving you waved her off and grabbed your things, kicking away leah who poked and prodded at you impatiently whining that she was hungry and you needed to hurry up.
eventually the two of you exited the change rooms without even sparing anyone else a glance, leahs arm draped over your shoulder as the two of you started to argue what movie you were going to watch first.
"see? hopeless." "love really is blind!"
~
"what are those for!" leah asked wide eyed as you grabbed out a bag of asian greens from the freezer and rolled your eyes. "my dinner, you've got nuggets and roasties in the oven don't worry." you cooed mockingly, squeezing her cheeks between your fingers.
"thank god for that! here i was thinking you were tryin to poison me woman." leah breathed a sigh of relief, scowling as you teased the way her 'th' sounded like 'f'. "i told you to stop that its bullying!" leah huffed throwing a packet of crisps in your direction which you ducked.
"hey! no throwing my groceries williamson or you can start paying for them." you warned her as leah ooohed with a grin. "i'm so scared." leah drawled as you held up the spatula in your hand menacingly.
"better be, i'd kick your ass." "i think we've proven time and time again shorty that it is indeed me who is the kicker of ass between us." "thats because you cheat every single time we fight!" "no i do not i just utilise the element of surprise and the fact you are about half the size of a regular human being."
"oo its your mum!" leah perked up as your phone rang with an incoming facetime call, leah clicking accept and propping it up against a vase of flowers before you could even say a word.
"hello terri!" leah greeted happily with a smile as your mother eagerly greeted her back, the two having met a few times and talking often as leah and you were almost always in one anothers company.
"mum its like...nine in the morning in mebourne, what do you want?" you chuckled as leah wandered over, propping the phone up by the stove and standing beside you as you cooked.
"thats no way to speak to your mother! maybe she just misses her daughter who lives on the other side of the world now." leah pinched you making you squeal and punch her in the shoulder.
"see! leah gets it chicken." your mum laughed at your dynamic as leahs taller body leaned into yours, hugging you from behind. "yeah chicken." leah teased the nickname making you roll your eyes and threaten to throw out her dinner as she fell silent.
the three of you caught up as you cooked, leah remaining stuck to you throughout which wasn't anything new, the two of you always having had a very affectionate friendship.
in fact you'd always been quite a touchy person by nature so to you it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
but when leah excused herself to use the bathroom and you'd pulled out her dinner and started to dish up, your mum flagged it. "you two are awfully cuddly tonight." the older woman spoke with a look you knew too well making you sigh.
"just friends with healthy habits of affection mum, you can stop now." you warned, your mum forever having had the habit of assuming any new person in your life you were secretly dating, despite your assurance that if you were dating someone she would not be meeting them until you were ready and as your partner, not a friend.
"okay im just saying it like i see it! shes a lovely girl, and you two seem very close." "we are mum, very close friends."
~
"yeah you should come visit next summer! i'll even teach you how to surf." you grinned to jacob whose face lit up, sat around the table with leah, her mum and brother for dinner a couple of days later.
noticing how homesick you were your first few weeks in england leah had quickly welcomed you into her own family in an attempt to mend that hole. taking you to weekly dinners or game nights much as you'd allow her to drag you along, her family nothing but kind to you the entire time you'd known them.
"wouldn't you need to know how to surf first?" leah questioned as you smacked her arm playfully. "least i don't look like i don't know how to swim." you teased, her grin dropping at the comment.
based around a tiktok trend kyra had made the statement the other day that leah looked like she used floaties when she swam, causing a cut that was very deep to the defenders pride.
"i can swim! you've seen me do it!" leahs fist banged down onto the table as you threw your head back laughing at how quickly she bit, jacob joining in as leah shot him a glare and stomped on his foot from across the table.
"alright alright! enough, leah you're on drying duty come on." amanda chuckled but broke up the bickering as leah looked ready to lunge at either one of you.
"what! i am a guest here, jacob can do it." leah protested but with a firm look from her mum got up from the table with a sigh, making a point to tug at your ear and smack the back of jacobs head before following after amanda into the kitchen.
"stop that mopey look if the wind changes you'll be stuck with it forever." her mum smiled in amusement handing leah another plate to dry, the english womans face turned downward into a sour frown as she heard you and jacobs laughter echo through from the living room.
"you know if i had to paint a picture of my ideal daughter in law she'd be the perfect muse." amanda started with a nod toward you in the other room, causing leahs head to whip up so fast it would have spun off if not connected to her neck.
"mum!" "what? she's a beautiful girl and an even more gorgeous person on the inside, surely you of all people can see that?" "well obviously but we're just friends. people can be friends and not in love with one another now mum its the twenty first century!" leahs voice dripped with sarcasm but her mum didn't miss the defensive edge to it either.
"whatever you say love. all im saying is you like to bang on and on about getting older and not wanting to miss out on the more domestic goals of life-" her mum held up a soapy hand to cut leah off as she tried to interrupt.
"-and here you are with the solution potentially right under your nose. you might not see it but the way you look at her...don't let a good thing pass you by baby girl." her mum warned and suddenly changed topics, leah frowning but not bothering to backtrack on the conversation.
the two of you were just friends, right?
