I'm currently rewatching Once Upon A Time and all I can thing about during 03X08:
It is an utter and absolute SHAME that we never got to see teenage Rumple. Like a fresh out of puberty Rumple. A Rumple who was raised by lesbians. An immature and wild Rumple who'd use his daddy issues and his fluent sarcasm to charm a woman like Mila. Teenage Rumple lives rent free in my mind for real

I wanted to rewatch Once upon a time but I’m physically not capable, every time I try I spend 2 hours watching the first episode because I pause every 5 minutes to rant to my friend about how Swan Queen should’ve been canon and what a wasted potential it is and also saying every line that’s about to be said with weird accuracy

To claim that Neal respected Emma's admission in the Echo Cave is INSANE. Her confession was "I wish you Were Dead or at the very least no where near me." And he immediately follows that with "I will never stop fighting for you."
Respect would've been LEAVING HER ALONE.

I’m starting my annual rewatch of Once Upon A Time (well, the first 3-4 seasons, anyway), and I’m always struck by how they change so much after the pilot, but they don’t change the characters’ personalities, and that’s the only reason why I think it kind of works. There’s still so much continuity during the first season in terms of personalities, and that’s integral to the plot. The cursed personalities have to be markedly different from the fairy tale personalities, and thus that continuity is so important.
Now, one of the biggest critiques for later seasons is how they change some of the characters or retcon them compared to the first couple of seasons, and that’s fair, (I personally think they forget their world building is what made the show awesome—they don’t expand the world as much later on, and what they do forgets what they’ve already done) but I still think the first season is one of the best seasons of TV. The costuming, the writing, and the actors make you forgive the CGI (I watched this live. The CGI was not great for even then), and I just haven’t found anything like it since. It’s campy, it’s fun, it’s magical. And you can just tel how much fun the actors are having with it.

Starting up a show I briefly enjoyed but never finished like 6 years late as a crutch to cope with emotions because I cannot handle life right now and want something that feels new without being unfamiliar; let’s see how many seasons I can make it through

So I’m watching Once Upon A Time and I just noticed that in season four Belle has a scarf with daggers on it like Rumpelstiltskin. It’s little things like this that I love in shows and movies.
