New Original Book!

HEY so here I am again to say that I'm writing an original story! It's over on Tapas!

Here's the synopsis: All Andrew wanted was a nice new set of pens, but instead, he got thrust into the arms of a dashing dragon prince! With the threat of a mysterious villain and newfound powers, can he set aside his antisocial tendencies long enough to help save this new magical world he stumbled into?

I've been having a ton of fun writing it, and I think this will be an excellent step for me to get closer to writing for a living. As of right now, I work a lame-ass bank job, and it's killing me slowly ;w;

SO I offer you this, and hope that you'll give it a chance! I know most of you have been here for the Billdip, and I promise I'll get back to that ASAP, but for now, I'd like to focus on this, since it's something I'm going to try and have published! If I get paid to write original stories, I'll be able to quit my bank job and focus purely on writing, which will allow me to more freely do fanfic again! And man do I miss it ;w;

So I was thinking, you know, as I tend to do, and realized that I very rarely see “what if the villains won” AUs in Ninjago fandom. Not sure I’ve EVER seen one actually. And being the villain fan that I am, those would be AUs that I would heavily heavily get into.

Which lead me to “Well what if Acronix and Krux won?”

And… I’m not sure it actually has to make a meaningful difference to some things. Sure Krux wanted to go back to the past and restore Ninjago to that time period, but he would have Acronix with him this time to keep him from stagnating. And if they won the first time and were never separated, then Krux might never have developed the hatred for modern life that he did.

With Acronix there, I simply do not see how Ninjago’s growth wouldn’t move forward. The biggest differences would depend on whether or not they actually execute the elemental masters, which honestly seems like kind of a bad idea in hindsight. And if left alive, where does that leave us? With a different ruling family and Harumi ends up with green face paint instead of red and her adoptive family’s blessing to go ape shit on the green ninja? Although that presumes that Acronix and/or Krux don’t generally even get involved with the day to day shenanigans that threaten life as we know it in Ninjago.

It’s funny to think about.

One of the biggest things still keeping me so sure Dazai will survive is that I am 100% convinced the next major antagonist is gonna be Agatha Christie and the Order of the Clock Tower and I don't think Asagiri would do presumably a long arc once more without having Dazai there

Maybe I'm delusional, maybe I'm simply using my brain and ignoring any angst thoughts, who knows

STORY

Volume 1 Chapter 4, [Roses are Red, Birthdays are Blue] is now ready for beta testing!

JM/Lily will now visit you in Chapter 3 and offer a ride to Roselyna's house if you are bestfriends.

MC is now a part of the Book Lovers' Club.

Slightly improved the pacing of the Chapter 1 fight scene.

CHOICES

You can now choose a second bestfriend besides your twin! The choice to have no bestfriends can now be chosen regardless of your starting relationship with your twin, and no longer grants the [Aloof] Trait.

Added restrictions/different flavor text to the classroom seat choice depending on your height.

Added two new twin preset names, one new fantasy setting preset name, and two new dog preset names.

Added a new choice to let you pick what school club you wanted to join in Chapter 1. The Music and Glee clubs restrict the [Shy Singer] and [Musical Averse] Traits.

Added a whole bunch of new choices throughout Chapter 1 to 3.

The bouquet gift choice is now only available if you have the [Country Child] Trait.

A certain character in IAC now appears if you pick the correct order of choices in the bedroom in Chapter 3.

There is now a very low chance that you will fall off the building if you go people watching in Chapter 2.

If you have high enough relationship, Maggie will now answer MC's call in Chapter 3.

Added a choice for MC's Twin to be identical.

STATS AND MECHANICS

Vigor now gives additional 1 Max HP per point of Vigor past 10 pts.

Renamed Extrovert/Introvert Personality Stats to Outgoing/Reserved.

Renamed Reserved Personality Stat to Composed.

Renamed Stubborn Personality Stat to Headstrong.

CHARACTERS

You can now give MC's father a name and have the choice of making one of the twins a junior!

MC's dad now has a diary entry!

Switched Lily and B's primary love languages.

The kids will now refer to Ma'am Bianes as Mrs. Bianes.

Lily's name is now spelled "Lilly".

The main characters has been aged up to 15 years old. JM is still the youngest at 14, and Lilly is the oldest at 16.

To add more conflict, JM's dad is now the President of the Philippines.

If your chemistry is high enough, B will now kiss MC on the cheek during the Chapter 2 confrontation scene.

Wayne got tired of all the teasing from Lily so now he's the tallest student in the class.

People kept misspelling Roselyna's name so she changed the spelling to Rosalina.

Due to being the least popular crush option, Rosie has decided to start going on a diet.

Since the update didn't come out on time during Rosie's birthday, her birthday has now been changed to April 1st. Happy April Fools!
