I think I like the umbrella terms better than specific labels. With umbrella terms, I can be whatever I want, but with specific terms, I have to stay that label definition forever. I know I could change my labels, and my feelings do change almost daily, but I feel pressured to stay the same.

I like aromantic, bisexual, genderfluid the best.

Then some labels are more specific, but I like aro, bi, and genderfluid more. It's easy. (Almost) Everyone knows what it means so it's a simple “I'm a romantic, bisexual, and genderfluid.” I wouldn't have to explain every single label this way.

I feel a bit sad that I’m not seeing more of this! I know being omni isn’t as well. As widely celebrated as others, but still! I feel a bit sad that I haven’t seen a thing about it! Today is Omnisexual Awareness Day! (there’s no dark purple, so normal purple will have to suffice.)

While I am asexual, I am also omniromantic! I truly wish that one day, being omni will be just as widely celebrated as being gay, lesbian, bi, aroace, and all the others! Happy Omni Day!

People have unrightful frustration placed on queer people for having words and labels to describe their feelings and identity. Because to them, it's fine to have plenty of specific and detailed words used to describe groups of people for a quicker way of understanding. We don't need to give out a specific explanation each time someone asks us, so we might as well have labels that describe it to make things quicker.

There are plenty of labels for people, such as a list of phobias and philias to describe the very feelings and experiences of specific individuals and make things easier to explain. That's the very same for the LGBTQ+ community. A list of terms and labels used to describe feelings and experiences. It's nothing different, you're just hypocrites.
