This design is based off a little bit of both the original game's and the IDW comic's version that Mimic was using.

put simply,
We are the ghosts under the floorboards We are the voices in his head We are the whistles of the treetops And the creaks around his bed
We are the shadows in the closet And the eyes along the hall We are the broken friends and family who all scream and shout and call
We are the memories of long ago the terrors of the night We are the footsteps no one left at all We are the reason that he fights
We can measure hugs and words of care We line up shining lives We haunt our blorbo evermore We choose if he survives

Perhaps trying to scold a God beyond all Gods is not the smartest move. Even if she is your girlfriend...

Sarada/Sumire's feelings protect them from Omnipotence is a Mysognist Theory and just plain lazy.
I've been thinking this ever since Ch. 79, when I started listening to so-called anime experts.
So, I want to say this now: Believing that the principal reason that Sarada and Sumire are not affected by Omnipotence is because they are in love with Boruto is the most misogynistic and heteronormative thing you can believe about the Naruto series anime/manga in 2023-24.
The only reason this idea has any feasibility is because Kishimoto himself is a misogynist who chronically nukes powerful kunoichi and turns them into damsels in distress at the most nonsensical of times. Don't believe me (you probably do)? In Ch.1 TBV Sarada (the daughter of two or the three most powerful ninja in Konoha) side kicked a claw grime. She was complimented by a no name male shinobi, and she then was saved from a claw grime to second s later by said no name shinobi, because she wasn't paying attention. I digress.
The reason that believing their feelings for Boruto protecting them for omnipotence is so misogynist, because it turns them into one-dimensional characters that have no meaning or use outside of Boruto. It literally ignores their lineages, their histories, and any abilities they may have just hiding under the surface.
However, the most mind numbing thing about this theory is that it completely ignores a caring counter argument. Mitsuki is in love with Boruto too. I would argue (in a different post) that his feelings for Boruto are more intense that Sarada or Sumire's feelings for Boruto. Mitsuki, however , was instantly affected by Eida's charm.

The Father is Greater
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow Me. 28 And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand.

God is conditioned, isn't He? If He's all powerful, He can't weaken. If He knows everything, He can't forget. If He's love, He can't hate. Perhaps if someone asks with enough love, He has to give.

“If there was ever an empirical refutation of the Christian belief in an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent God, the problem of evil is it.
It speaks like a megaphone against the existence of this God.”

ani and her god form stuff
Anis God Form that humans can see: Large, black, lanky monster. Eight eyes, like a spider. Three white eyes on the left, Two on the right; One of them is scarred and damaged. Monsterous mouth... Think the creatures from Predator, but more teeth. Spider mandibles. Long, skinny arms, can have multiple at once, again, arachnid based. Long tail. Long black spikes down back. Clawed hands and feet. This is her monster form; This is not the form she takes when those who pray to her to save them. That form is different.
Anis form that is seen when she is prayed for (there are two): A normal black cat with one eye, that stalks the offending person. Once in the home, said cat emerges as a simplified form of the one above. Less limbs. She can remain a small black cat, however, to the person, usually a child, that prayed for her to save them, so she doesn't scare them; unless they specifically pray for her monster form. some kids do.
Anis true form is so incomprehensible to mortal eyes that they claw their eyes out and eventually their throats as well. she is the god of fear, darkness, nightmares, and such after all
y'all remember the end of fantasy by DyE? yeah she's basically kinda like that. not visually, just what happens to the person when they see the god. she's every single fear, nightmare, every dark thought, all darkness in one entity so yeah you cant really look at her without
either dying or offing yourself
ani hides said form as best she can so if you manage to see it, dude you worked for your fucked up fate man
you should never try to look at a god, especially one that is darkness, fear and punishment

The Mosquito allegory
Hot damn after some philosophical thought, I suddenly realised the allegory of the mosquito in this scene and how it works on meta level too.
The mosquito is Saitama's humanity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even in Saitama's omnipotence, he cannot squish his own humanity like a bug. No matter how much he tries.
Even as he feels like he lost something essential for a human being in exchange for power and if he eventually became omnipotent and apathetic in his ever growing power and attempted to eradicate his own humanity when he starts to view humanity as beneath him, he could not do it completely. That miniscule part of humanity would always remain intact.
In meta: Such a tiny thing came along to disrupt the narrative too. And led him to Genos. Who continues to disrupt the narrative with the aspects of humanity that he introduces into it. The narrative set out by ONE who's self-insert is God.
Saitama losing his humanity is all part of God's planning and Genos and rest disrupted said plans, is why he and others had to be (temporarily) eliminated. The awakening of the gods.
Humanity represents what Saitama holds most dear to him. The bonds that he made what humanity lead him to.
I suppose entire Garou vs Saitama fight was simply a test to see whether time was ripe for God's machinations to come to fruition. Saitama gripped that humanity tightly and refused to bend.
But it did not change the course. He cannot stop himself from growing in power. He did not stop the narrative set out for him.
But if worst came to worst...humanity would also lead him back to his bonds and what he holds most dear.

God’s Word Always Prevails
It doesn’t matter how dark, hopeless, or even impossible it may seem, when I have God’s word on it, I am assured of the victory.
Listen to the podcast of this post by clicking on the player below, and you can also subscribe on Apple, Spotify, or Audible.  https://craigtowens.files.wordpress.com/2023/10/gods-word-always-prevails.mp3 I love the simple but utterly profound statement the angel Gabriel leaves with Mary. Listen to it from different biblical translations: For no word from God will ever fail (Luke 1:37 NIV)  For…
