COSPLAY!!!! More specifically like. Prop making/painting !!!!!!! I really really enjoy makin stuff fer cosplays or halloween costumes... Ive made a proton pack, a steampunk gun, 2012 Casey Jones' mask and Poe Damerons helmet for Halloween & im in the planning stages for makin beacon from TAZ: Amnesty hehehe

I really really enjoy the process of finding the stuff for it and puttinf it all together and painting it and then just like... Having it for fun basically HAHA ive never gone to a con or anywhere to cosplay its all been like. Halloween BUT SOMEDAY ID LOVE TO.. I think itd be so fun.. i esp like "weathering" it hehe

I fuckin LOOOVE brownies... brownies or chocolate zucchini cake specifically... I have the besssst fuckin recipe for chocolate zucchini cake & frosting its SO GOOD EVERYTIME.. I also love just a good old chewy homemade chocolate chip cookie 😔👍 I like chocolate a lot LOLZ..

Y’all remember when competitions would take up like five minutes at the least or ten minutes at the most of an episode?

How tf did we get to them taking up 20-30 mins of the episodes??

#i missed the ep lol #am still on vacation and was showering as it was on #but I read y’all’s updates and omg #i remember when I watched bb6 for the first time back in 2020 #there was a veto comp that was like 6 minutes of the episode and I was so baffled bc I forgot the comps used to be so short #outside of like the wall HOH’s #the comps used to be so short in comparison to the rest of the episode #probably bc the previous seasons had actual content and strategies to show the audience #what season started these comps taking up about half the episode run time?#part of me wants to blame bb16 like I usually do #but another part of me thinks it was like bb19 or bb20 that did this #i just know it was a modern season that started it #bb24

Was sitting today BTS songs just playing in the background while I'm working on my post. All this shit just happening around us, around JK and JM (yes, JM is part of it, he's also affected by it all), and The truth untold comes up.

One of, if not their best performance imo. The emotion just pouring out of them.

This song. It kills me every single time. Brings me to tears every single time. JM turned away from JK singing "and I still want you" in every performance. Well, other than their last 3 in Seoul, changed by them, performed by them, ending facing each other JM singing "but I still want you". Defiant.

All about the need to wear that mask to hide your true self for fear you might not be loved for who you truly are, that you might be seen as ugly, a monster. And the two of them, changing the staging, turning to each other, looking into each other's eyes, while changing the "and" to "but I still want you"... do people understand this? The enormity of this moment?

This love, people, this chemistry, us not seeing it as often for the lack of BTS ot7 content doesn't mean is gone. It's very much still there. We just aren't as lucky to be able to see them in that one frame as often or even at all. But when we do, there is no denying it. Even if it's for the shortest of moments.

We saw it in 2020 (have people forgot memories 2020 for god sake?)

We saw it in 2021

So much more, so little image allowance... But you can find it all in my masterlist.

We saw it throughout 2022 in their Seoul and LV PTD concerts.

And in JITB even if briefly,

And in Busan and Run BTS episodes.

And we even got a little touch of it in 2023, when there was no way of keeping them out of the frame, like in Jhope's enlistment BTB, D-Day in Seoul and even when not being in one frame, in those lives we got to enjoy when the one joined the other in their comments and even without the other even making that kind of appearance.

Letter, goddamnit.

Oh and then we had JM literally flying across the world to be with JK for his Solo debut (if only GMA concert wasn't cancelled, damn it), and them dipping off for their 4 day private trip in CT.

It's sad how short people's memories are. Really. I am reading all sorts of fanfictions being put forward as "this is what happened with Jikook over the years", stating facts that are not facts, creating non existent drama, because people love the drama.

This is a loving couple in a long term relationship. You know, that boring kind. The stable, loving, filled with respect and no drama. The one where one supports their partner when they are struggling. One where just being with each other is fulfilling (cough JK coming to JM's room in LA just to be with him in the same room for hours cough).

Funny how people are talking about them breaking up 2020-21 during the pandemic when JK literally had a slip of the tongue spilling the beans they live together, they are one household, in Run BTS episode 142 they were each gifted a knife. JK all proud and piping up "we got 2"...

JM just sitting there all quiet, smirk on his face.

Stories about breakups. Stories about sexually experimenting but no actual emotional commitment. All while ignoring the constants. Those things that are just there, all the time, whenever we do get to see them:

That electrical chemistry between those two.

The way they look at each other constant over the years.

The way they talk to each other constant over the years.

The way they touch each other constant over the years.

The way they talk about each other.

The way their interactions are so different from the others or their own with the others.

The way the others are around them, their reaction to Jikook.

All still there!!!

i know he was liked by teachers when he was in highschool so i do think he makes an effort to join class.

he tends to join class late but that’s because he was doing some stupid shit beforehand. like he was probably trying to learn how to do a handstand or he tried to speed run a game before class starts but he ended up forgetting he has class in the first place. (that was me in 2020)

his parents were called and notified that he’s been missing class— that was hard to explain.

he’s definitely dabbled in cheating during tests. he gets away with it but classmates notices the way the light from his screen changes in tones and colours due to him changing tabs when he searches for answers…

or he’d start using his phone but he gets too immersed that he forgets to hide the fact that he’s on his phone…

i think if he was comfortable enough with the students in the class, he’d show himself on camera more. it might catch you off guard cause you might take a peek at him and all you see is this.

Marauders Fandom > "There is no canon !!" and other rhetorics

Guess who's back in their marauders phase after 2-3 years of being dormant lmao?? ((spoiler its me lol)). Anyways, a lot has changed since 2021 in this fandom so I just wanted to talk about the direction i think it's going.

I remember in 2020-21 the fandom started to boom in popularity on tiktok --> esp with the rise wolfstar + atyd. I remember people were so suprised with remus' characterization as 'rougher around the edges' instead of the 'soft boi' thing, and how that influenced the new wolfstar dynamic. [Just want to add that the atyd characterisation is much more complex than this and its one of my fave fics --> I'm more talking about the fandom at large's reaction to this)

And since fandom is incapable of having two nuanced and characters who are not stark opposites,, their roles were basically reversed and now Remus is the toxic dom alpha male and sirius is the cute girlyboy twink --- which um,,, the oc-ification is so real its embarrassing but whatever (omg don't even get me started on jegulus 💀)). I just assumed these would stay as headcanons. But now we have people saying, that 'we barely know anything abt the marauders in canon' or 'isn't the whole point of fandom to make shit up?' which i have sO many issues with so let me just try and compile my thoughts into dot points for the sake of coherency.

'we barely know anything abt the marauders in canon' ---> First of all, Remus, Sirius and Severus are fully fleshed out characters in the og series -- why do you think people would care enough to create an entire fandom based on their backstories if they were 2d flat characters in canon?? Like bffr. I saw a post on here (forgot who it was by, let me know if u know!) that said, 'I didn't cry over sirius' death in OotP just for ppl to say that we know nothing abt him in canon'. Like, its just mind-boggling to me lol.

'isn't the whole point of fandom to make shit up?' --> Ok y'all. For a fandom to work, there have to be some guidelines, some kind of source material, some point of reference so people can build upon it and make content. I think we can all agree on that. One reason why HP is such a popular place for fandom is the world-building and potential plots/storylines. I see some people argue that jk rowling was a shit writer anyways so might as well contradict everything she says. Now, I don't disagree with that point in particular, Jo is a pretty mediocre writer and a terrible person. HOWEVERrr, I'd argue that it is a lot more fascinating when people expand or work on the concepts in HP. JK Rowling has a lot of great ideas but executes them terribly -- I love when fic writes do this, which prolly explain why I love atyd as it is still very much canon compliant but executes themes on class, disability and queerness that jkr could barely do in subtext. This doesn''t mean I only think canon compliant fics are valid. That's not the case! I think as long as the charcterization is consistent to the character and the particular circumstances/world they're in, its fine! In fact, I love seeing how the same character would function if in a different place! I also love seeing explorations of the magic and magic systems in aus or fix it fics (or even canon compliant ones) that still fit in with the canonnical system that we know.

I guess what I'm trying to say I wish the marauders fandom explored the world and charcterizations more deeply instead of creating shallow oc-fied version of the characters that fit into whatever's trending -- like just write your own book or smth lol -- booktok will eat it up i promise.

Also, kinda related kinda not but um,,, why are we romanticising fascists -- like babe no evan rosier is not your babygirl he canonnoically tortured multiple ppl and became a death eater soo... not saying that I wouldn't want an exploration of his character or even a relationship with barty -- (who's not some cool dairk-haired edgelord but a actually a cowardly fascist murderer with blond hair -- yes the blond hair is important) -- I'd just want them to be portrayed as the not morally good people they are. Like,, if u want to oc-ify a character like pick someone whos not a death eater or has little info on them like dirk cresswell or frank longbottom,,, or ya know,, one of the MANY female characters in the fandom ((This fandom also has a problem with women and sapphic ships in general but that's a whole other issue lol).

I know this 'babygirlification' of death eaters doesn't mean to do this, but it also ends up watering down the themes of oppression, bigotry, etc and leaves us with not nearly as complex characters. Also one of the issues I had with the og HP world is that JK will introduce concepts like wizard racism and slavery and then just like,, not really do anything about it or just have half-arsed redemption arcs whilst not ever actually exploring the root of the issue. And now i feel like the fandom is following in those footsteps unfortunately.

Anyways, i've been rambling for too long so I'll just leave it here. Sorry if this came off as mean spirited in anyway,, I just have a lot of thoughts™ and my family is sick of hearing them lol. These opinions are not set in stone however so I'd love to hear your thoughts on this subject! At the end of the day this is fandom and we're supposed to have fun -- so yeah !! thanks for reading if you made it this far!

In Genshin, my first favorite was Childe. I read a few fanfics about him and watched this trailer and it convinced me to download Genshin!!! I fell in love immediately with him. :D I started playing towards the beginning of Zhongli's first banner, so I missed Childe's first banner (I can't believe it was on my birthday as well,,, T_T). But I did eventually drag that Fatui Harbinger home!!!!

And then I saw him. ( ≧ᗜ≦) my most beloved to this very day. Scaramouche!!!!! I missed the Unreconciled Stars event, so I could only watch Scara's cutscenes religiously. The "are you deaf or just stupid? When did I give you the right to issue your own orders?" lines....... AAAAAAAAA IT WAS A DIRECT HIT TO MY HEART. OTL I saved obsessively for two years to ensure I would have enough to get him and his weapon when he became playable. I was a firm believer in playable Mouchey since day one. >w< the crumbs I feasted on,,, from vague mentions of him in dialogue, sprinkles of his lore in the artifact set, Ei and Miko's voice lines about him, the cutscene which only showed his foot, his appearance in Inazuma arc, and ultimately his role in Sumeru and consequent character arc!!!!!!!! So many memories omg!!!!

Scaramouche was a life-changing event for me. My first smut fic was for him hehehe. I love him dearly. He means the world to me. orz I was in quite a dark place during his playable release, so it was cathartic to suffer (and eventually heal) alongside Mouchey!!!

As for twst, Riddle was my favorite!!! In 2019-2020, I often returned to the twst website to play his greeting voice line on repeat. orz I adored him back then (and still do today). It was Riddle and Ruggie who captured my attention first. I skipped over Octavinelle because I thought they were all ugly and I didn't like their fedoras (lol). Azul was spared most of my dislike because I thought the twins were far more unattractive than he was. Floyd especially. ;;;;;;;;;;

I sort of,,, forgot about twst after it released in 2020 because I didn't have any friends who knew of it and so I was something of a quiet ghost within the fandom. ^^;;; I stopped paying attention shortly after book two. I also thought Azul's overblot form was ugly (I AM SO SORRY, MY LOVE) and I wasn't interested in tentacles or that sort of monstrous type back then. So it is with my clown makeup and wig on that I now admit my favorites are Octavinelle LOL. I think I started enjoying them at some point during twst's English release. Thank you to Azul for showing me the light and opening my eyes to the beautiful thing that is tentacles. orz

Yeah, the anon was not around here for the August 2020 - July 2nd, 2021 period. We had stans that could not accept that Nadia and Tom had broken up, we had stans shipping Z with JDW, we had stans shipping Z with Hunter, we had stans shipping Tom with Sophia Ali, we had stans saying that Tom had a secret London gf up to July 2, 2021 and even then some said that the TZ car make out session was fake PR to sell NWH. Remember when Hunter and Z went to a screening of Zola (featuring Colman Domingo as one of the leads) and a video was taken of Z whispering something to Hunter and hunterdayas were celebrating that it was proof they were together? The next day Tom posted the pic of him and Tuwaine embracing at a pool (showing that you can be in a committed relationship and still adore your friends). Some of the big tomdaya haters among Z stans to this day are those hunterdayas (they also hated Hunter's relationship with Dom F). You were one of the few tomdayas that was active in that period and had the patience to deal with all those people because we didn't have definitive evidence that Tom and Z were back together. Even you were going to hang up your tomdaya coat if there was no clear evidence that Tom and Z were back together by July 1st, 2021. We, like Tom, can reminisce about that period. All this recent stupidity is nothing compared to that time

My hanging up my coat was basically just me giving up the STRESSING, the OBSESSING, and trying to find evidence that they were back together again. I never once doubted that there was smthg fishy going on though.

I just don't like OVER-thinking things and twisting myself into a pretzel trying to figure stuff out. After a while, I just have to give up trying to know if I'm not getting definitive answers... just for my own mental and emotional health sake. But I (like other fans) ALWAYS felt like smthg was going on over there in Atlanta lol. 🤭 I'm sorry, but they were NOT acting like exes who were over each other. 👀 They just weren't!! 😅

And omg the HunterDaya nonsense lol. 🙄 You also forgot the JohnDayas (those who wanted Z to be dating John David Washington), even though their energy together NEVER spelled "romantic" or "attraction" EVER.... Like, he seemed more like her older brother than a guy who was trying to get with her lol.

I was like.... "Can't y'all tell when two people are at least ATTRACTED to each other??" 🥴

I just finished a re-read (replay?) for the first time in ages and omg I forgot how fantastic this game is. Like there’s sooooo much to do. I adore the characters (Phaedra marry me 😭). My first playthrough I romanced Aeran and it was so investing and emotional and I still have so many thoughts about it. This time I tried the friends route and I absolutely love how it doesn’t feel any less important than the romanced route (if that makes sense?). The way you describe things is so vivid and compelling. I struggle a little sometimes with imagining environments and settings but the way you write them just makes the scenes come to life. Like you started in 2020 and you’ve already got so much done. Each episode is like the same length (and probably longer) than most books I’ve read. And it isn’t even done. There is something i would like to say about the TMNT fandom.

As we all know, when Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles happened, there was a lot of people who hated it (and still do).

When I saw that there was a new show about my favorite turtles I thought "Oh cool, I'll watch it later" even when I saw the designs and I didn't really liked them. But they were different kinds of turtles and that was a good detail that I liked.

I forgot about rottmnt until the movie came out. My little brother showed me the trailer and I loved the animation. It was so amazingly done.

Unfortunately, I also forgot about it. 2020 had my head with too many things and I didn't remember Rise until a few months ago.

When I saw all of the changes that happened in this iteration, I HATED it. Change of weapons, change of roles, etc.

Leonardo was not the older brother and perfect son I looked up to be when I grew up

Raphael was not my lonely and angry driven turtle I felt identified with

Donatello was not the pacifist and patient brother I would have liked so much to have

Michelangelo didn't change as much (in my opinion) and he's the only constant in all of the versions

I started to watch RotTMNT out of spite. I wanted to hate it with a reason.

But you know what? I love it. I'm not even on season 2 yet but the changes they made are absolutely amazing and refreshing. Leonardo's one liners are cringy and funny and it's not the first Leo I have seen joking around (Next Mutation anyone?). Raphael looks intimidating but he's a teddy bear AND the parentified kid??? (I DID NOT NEED to identify myself more with Raph thank you very much). Donatello is UNHINGED and I enjoy every moment of him being on screen (also he's canonically autistic AND I LOVE IT). Michelangelo, as I said has not changed much. In any case he's more savage and it's so funny omg.

I can still see my boys under all of that. Raphael is still the protector of the group, Donatello is still insecure about his role in the team, Leonardo still craves Splinter's validation and both the twins cover their issues with their new personalities while Michelangelo is still the most sensitive little brother.

Old fans should give this version an opportunity. It's not the same tale, you don't know what is going to happen next, you don't have the comics to guide yourself, the new characters are awesome, and when the old ones appear you will not even feel nostalgia because they feel new, too. (The Krangs for example, I haven't watched the movie yet, but I ate the spoilers like a bowl of cereal and MY GOD it's terrifying. I would have cried if I saw that Krang when i was a toddler in the 90's)

Well what I want to say is that at the end of the day, they still are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, even after all the changes. Because as Master Splinter said once,

speaking of halloween 2, omg. i forgot to take screenshots but that whole bit makes me insane. he calls vil "my etolle/ my star" and is agonizing over his disappearance......... hes so overjoyed to see him again and rushes to his side when theyre reunited,, and omfg i also forgot the part in masquerade where hes getting ready to leave and hes like "here is a flower, im so sorry im leaving you alone vil, ill be back to you before this flower blooms ♥" like literally why was he so romantic about it. vils like dude you will be gone Three Days fjklsejklfjkls i cant get over it. it's so FUNNY and so,,, hfhdhhhghf. the way he and vil act like parents of pomefiore is so cute too. like when theyre leaving rooks like "dont worry vil ill be with epel to make sure things are going okay!!" and vils like "hmm. yea idk im still worried actually" bc he loves rook but he also knows rook better than anyone LOL

anyway i got distracted, back to the rook lab coat story

this part is so good. rook is going on and on about leona and vils like "ok so just join spelldrive club and bother him there" and rooks immediately like "no. im in science club so i can help you with special effects for your film work to support you " HE LITERALLY SAYS SUPPORT WITH HIS LOVE WAHHHH god they make me go bonkers actually. a lot of what rook does is out of love and support for vil and his pursuit of beauty wahhhh

he likes being close to vil

he knows vils exact measurements, he even says in vils lab story that the only person that looks at vil longer than vil is him lol

he was so enthusiastic about vil and his work that hed run up to him and just talk forever and ever until vil finally spoke back to him and they were just INSEPARABLE after. i think so often about that bit where they say they talked so much they GOT SICK IN THE SNOW!!!! HELLO HI CAN ANYONE HEAR ME- theyre so full of matched passion i love them so much no one understands them like they understand each other AUGHHHH

anyway back to rook mentioning he wants to be up close to vil and his pursuit of beauty,,, i ALSO cant stop thinking about how thats literally one of the reasons he TRANSFERRED DORMS TO POMEFIORE

it means everything to him to be at vils side as long as possible and the fact that he cant when theyre away on their internships in fourth year is devastating WAHHHH 😭😭😭

so that ex friend of mine, ive known since 4th grade and...i think it was nov 4th 2021 when she asked to stop being friends. i accepted despite how much it hurt because i had honestly felt it coming. i wasnt exactly the best and had a problem with being too sarcastic or joking in too mean of a manner
