What I find rubbish about the American school system is that they were teaching us about grammar in primary school when I didn’t care much about it. Like by the time you’ve reached high school English is all about books, which is fine (I guess), but language is so fluid, wouldn’t it make more sense to have a class in high school that is about current English and ‘proper’ grammar? Also please let me know if the curriculum for high school has changed since I was there (~10 years ago if anyone wants to track that lmao).

If it's not too much to ask, could I request an imagine or hcs with Satan comforting MC after finding them self harming (or about to but he gets there before they start, if that's easier for you)? If this is too much you absolutely don't need to do this. I've been 3 months clean and some nights are hard, but thinking about comfort from Satan always helps *shy*

I am glad that you are clean anon. I know those things and struggles with mental health are hard. But I am proud of you for making it this far and for getting better.

I have personally never dealt with this and I don't know how to properly talk about it, but before I try, I want to make sure I say I am putting it under the cut.

I would think that MC would be missing. Maybe they missed dinner or a reading date with Satan and he went to look for them.

When he finds them their door is locked. He knows what's happening, and he doesn't want to let it happen. So he starts talking to his lovely MC through the door.

The first few things are simple. Generic. Hoping for a response "Are you in there? You missed dinner and our date. That's not like you. Are you okay?"

When he gets no response back his voice is softer as he leans against the door.

"MC. I know you're in there. I already scoured this whole house for you... Don't do this. You are precious and my human. There are other ways to fix these problems, but you need to let me in so I can help you. I promise I will do everything in my power to make them disappear. To see your smile again. To keep you from locking this door again."

There is a long pause until Satan hears a click. The door opens and a crying MC falls into his chest and arms. They both sit there, for as long as MC needs until they feel better and are ready to talk.

I got the saddest idea and I gotta share it with someone.

Imagine Y/N being married or just in a romantic relationship with Miguel in general, but he ends up dying somehow and she becomes Spiderman.

Then Spiderman Miguel decides to recruit her into the Spider society and Y/N can’t handle the sight of him of and just breaks down crying and Miguel has to comfort her.

“I’m not him, I’m sorry. He’s gone, Y/N.”

And then he’s just cradling Y/N and repeating the same thing as they sob into his arms.

Literally crying myself to sleep rn 😭

He's at your side in an little more than an instant, pulling you against his chest as your eyes flutter open weakly.

No eyes remain on you. After all, sacrifice is what they'd wanted, right?

Utdrag av «Høg himmel», Torvald Tu, Høg himmel (1924)

Torvald Tu (1893-1955) var en norsk forfatter og dikter fra Klepp i Rogaland. Gjennom karrieren skrev han oftest på nynorsk og brukte dialekta si, jærsk. Dette var uvanlig og kan ha bidratt til at han aldri ble ordentlig berømt og ofte slet med penger. Han var samboer med pianisten og komponisten Trygve Stangeland (1898-1969) i 18 år fra 1937 frem til sin død i 1955, til tross for andre verdenskrig og Stangelands alvorlig sykdom gjennom 1940-årene. Mens det var ikke mulig for forholdet deres å bli offentlig kjent på den tida, i 1924 dediserte Tu novellesamlingen «Høg himmel» til Stangeland og derfor tror mange at dette utdraget fra samlingen kan leses som et kjærlighetserklæring til ham.

«Musikk.», Torvald Tu, Det lyser etter vegen (1940)

I tillegg dediserte Tu diktet «Musikk.» til sin livskjæreste Stangeland. Jeg syns dette diktet er kjempe ømt og viser gjennom et intimt øyeblikk i hverdagslivet deres den dype kjærligheten mellom de to mennene. Stangeland hadde bodd hjemme hos Tu i Mosberghagen i tre år da diktet ble publisert.

Etter Tus død i 1955 ble Stangeland intervjuet for lokalavisen, Jærbladet. Han var overraskende åpen om livet sitt med forfatteren og «alle år [de] var saman», sjøl om homofili var ulovlig på den tida. Stangeland bodde i Mosberghagen alene til sin egen død i 1969.
