I'm still happy to have played Friendship Ball today, but I didn't expect to break out of the boundaries of the game at all!

Both times, it was caused by trying to place down the magic dust item - as far as I know, it only happens on the Wayback Machine version. Either way, it's a very interesting sight.

(note: Spring Parade walked off bounds since she was in her walking animation, everything else was already there)

does anyone remember the early 2000s flash website 'santafehealingart.com' - and specifically the plenda hoots?

they were these absolutely adorable little cyclope fairy owls

and there were two games, the one above was i guess a personality quiz type one? then the second... or maybe they BOTH were? what i do remember is that you had to combine elements and stuff in the 3D one, maybe hatch an egg? and in the 2D one it was more of a dress up?

you can see some potions here above in the very LQ screenshot that i believe dictated the colours of like the body, eye, etc...

i remember linked to the 2D game was like... this animated video delivered by a german scientist character who explained their physiology and how they were 'innocent and full of joy in their hearts' or something

i realise flash is dead and all the old links are broken, plus any links of archived versions i found from 2015 onwards on reddit. anyone out there got anymore evidence of these lil guys?

If you played Makopudding’s Gretel and Hansel games and thought the soundtrack was BANGER you can get the OST on bandcamp. The digital track is PWYW with a minimum of $1 so yeah go throw money at them if you want to support them.

Caution while googling:

Nothing comes up if you spell Grotesque Requords as is. Google will try to redirect you to Grotesque Records, which is an unrelated producer of horror/gore inspired music (with gorey album covers). If you want the actual Gretel and Hansel OST you need to type in “Grotesque Records Gretel and Hansel”, and you should be able to find it. Hopefully if enough people google the soundtrack Google will fix it one day…

One of my core memories as a child is playing an online cute anime game about vivisection

You could take out her brain, heart, lungs, and uterus. At the end of it was a bloody male surgeon with glasses and his bloody nurse assistant saying, "Thank you for playing our game!"

The game's title was "(Name)'s Vivisection), named after the patient on the operation table whose name I can't remember.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers playing this game! And if you do remember, can you drop the name of it?

It feels like it's on the tip of my tongue.
