don’t you forget about me - The members of the party go to college, and Mike struggles with change, being away from everything he's ever known, and the fear of losing the people he loves.

so i showed up at your party - Mike throws Will a birthday party while their friends are home on spring break. Naturally, drunken shenanigans occur.

He forgets all about the letter, and the distinctive red envelope he stowed it in, until he turns around to find it missing. it’s kind of an older one and i saw that the sequel is unfinished and hasn’t been updated in over a year but i decided to start it anyways because it’s long and so is the sequel.

if you haven’t read it and might want to don’t read this screenshot but i just got to this part of the fic and i’m GIDDY and my chest is SWELLING and this is like the only thing that’s giving me joy right now. even if i’m devastated later by a cliff hanger of some sorts, at least i had these good moments now.

what a year!!! 2019 has been full of personal pressures and difficulties, as well as so many beautiful, incredible things that I never imagined would happen to me. All of you, and this platform and community, make such an enormous difference in my life and bring me so much joy! I am so lucky to know and interact with every single one of you, and am so grateful to all of you for being here!
