Okokokok. I watched Watching and Dreaming several hours ago at this point, and the hype still hasn’t gone away. So here were are: Welcome to Stella’s ranting about different parts of the Owl House finale to cope with the absolute insanity in my brain.

This is all incoherent rambling.

OWL HOUSE WATCHING AND DREAMING SPOILERS BELOW

1. Raine. Raine Whispers is a fucking badass. They were fighting against being possessed not only by the Collector but by Belos at the same time, and still managed to break through TWICE. The Collector lost control over them the first time, and they managed to push Belos out second. And then. After ALL OF THAT. They get up and chase Belos into the throne room to try and stop him from possessing the Titan. Absolute powerhouse.

2. King’s DAD???!!! Bi-gender icon, over here wearing a bad girl coven t-shirt and pajama pants. And a tiny Hooty sticking out of his eye?? Gosh, I really wish he’d been able to talk to King, but the bread pun message hit hard regardless. He’s been watchinggggg ;-;

3. Eda and King’s reactions to Luz’s ‘death’ were HEARTBREAKING. And the Collector processing the concept of death- that entire sequence hurt. Seriously, I cried twice during that scene alone- once when Luz died, and once when she came back. Eda and King immediately calming down from their rampage upon seeing she was okay I’m not ok-

4. DARIUS AND HUNTER. All of the parent-child reunions were adorable, both Gus and Willow seeing their dad’s again dhdhdh, but Darius and Hunter’s little moment aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. And Eberwolf too! I really wish we could have gotten more, but the show gave us so much with what little time Disney gave

5. The flapjack tattoos. And Hunter being a palismen carver. AND HIS NEW PALISMEN- I heard Dana confimed the new bird’s name was Waffle and I love him so much. ALSO HUNTLOW SIDE-HUG???? I’m going to need fanfics for all of these ships and moments to cope with this finale istg. I’ll probably write a pile of them

6. RAEDA EARRING SWAP. I was already crying watching the end credits, and then I spotted Raine’s earring on Eda and immediately had to rewind. I didn’t even notice Raine wearing Eda’s earrings until I went back- canon or not, I’m interpreting the earring-swap as a boiling isles alternative to wedding rings. Sue me.

7. DALADOR CONFIRMED??? I now need content about Amity and Hunter being step-siblings because that shit is hilarious. And when Amity and Luz eventually get married that would make Hunter her brother-in-law ddhdhdh I’m fine. Also, Alador removing the coven sigils- we love to see it. And the fact that Odalia is nowhere to be seen is perfection

8. LUZ GOT HER QUINCENERA!! Lilith tried XD

9. Lilith and Hooty’s reunion was everything I hoped it to be. Their friendship means so much dhdhd. Lilith aroace icon u.u

okokokok ive risen from the dead to spill my silly little thoughts on this silly little box. first thing id like to address(adress?): sleep token. i consider myself to somewhat be a metalhead so uh- yea. imo (as in, idgaf what *you* think, this is just me) they suck. theyre just plain bad. i cant get over Vessel's voice for some reason. maybe its the enunciation? idk. then; the music. theyre being labeled (from what i know/heard anyways) as metal. sure,sure some good chunky riffs every once in a while buttttttt? not fully. expirimental is probably a better word (who knows, maybe thats already their label! i dont exactly keep up) anyways, the main thing that bothers me are the reactions. youtube, whatever. its always sooo... over the top?? like ok, you like this band a lot (tbh Will Ramos's reaction[s] to them are great tho) and youre excited!! cool, man. but then you have eeeeeveryone else doing these insane "OMG I LOVE YOU YOUR VOICE IS SO GOOD MARRY ME STEP ON ME" reactions and 😭 PLS PEOPLE there is no way- my favorite (only good one imo) is Alex Terribles bc he is so real?? idk how to describe it but he like- "the clean vocals i like them its beatiful... and GAY" in his vodeo and like. i dont listen to STP(slaughter to prevail) or follow his work but yk?? anyways. i just personnaly (YOU DONT HAVE TO AGREE) feel like everyone is hopping on a bandwagon (haha, *band*wagon) with sleep token. next thing(wow this thing is huge already) is Nimona. i fuckin loved it but one silly little nitpick i have abt it is uhm. okokokok so i find moiraility in specific would be the most interesting quadrant to explore with how entities are, because like trolls, entities are naturally violent creatures. where this differs, though, is an entity moirail would only stop their moirail from killing other entities, and not the intruders (bc yk its our job to get rid of em), whereas with trolls a moirail stops their moirail from killing anyone.

kismesistude would also be interesting to experiment with, especially the whole hate and rivalry aspect. i feel like there are so many interesting things to work with there.

i dont think ashen feelings would make much sense in the scope of quadrants for entities, so we leave that out

and of course theres matespritship but thats just human romance for trolls. would work the same for entities.

Suga:

If a PERSON was the cause of ur crappy day he would have you two sit for hours ranting and gossiping about that person

Even if it wasn’t a person who directly caused it, say for example you failed an important test, Oikawa would let you rant about how your pencil was the wrong pencil for the test or how your teacher was the biggest fraud ever

Through the entire rant he would agree and even add some snarky or petty remark about the person you’re talking abt

He would totally bring over a spa kit he made just for these days

He would have bath bombs, face masks (the skin kind lol) and a fuzzy robe he bought just for this

Oikawa would treat you like a QUEEN and let you rant, compliment you, build you up, and ofc let you relax and refresh with the “spa” until he sees that BEAUTIFUL smile again

i’m sorry i disappeared on a few people yesterday.  i had a raging tension headache that never went away.  now my neck feels weird but that’s more tolerable.

so, i moved over a year ago because there was an opportunity at a failing operation.  they thought it was pERFECT until a bunch of inventory problems came to light.  and, long story short, no one knew just how fucked it was?  but it’s been a project.  my dumbass thought this would be great on a resume if we turned it around.  it’s been something we’ve been told they want to get back into pristine condition for the customer.  and, tbh when you dump this much money into something you might as well hope to recoop.

except, earlier this week the manager said to stop asking for help.  stop asking the higher ups for more personnel to get everything done with.  ( don’t you have any untapped potential  we can harness?  no, jan. i have 2 employees and some managers.  the well ran dry a long time ago. ).  nevermind all the demands banging on the door wanting a resolution.  granted, the economic situation, right?  and the message has always been to be as least impactful on the company as possible and i GET that.

but if the goal is to be better and to grow the business...this isn’t the way.  staff is literally down like 80% from what it was when i first transferred.  some quit naturally. can’t control that. most of that is from the opportunity presented from what’s going on.  equipment’s being sold off or sent back to corporate.  what i can accept from customers is, funny enough, less and less since i don’t have anyone to throw at their orders.  this is to coast through the present. this isn’t the mindset of being successful in the future.

what irritates me the most is it’s “not him.”  totally corporate.  totally everyone else’s decisions.  totally not his fault.  i’ve never been a manager so i don’t fully comprehend what goes into the title but there’s a whole lot of not his responsibility.  why are you here?  WHAT PURPOSE DO YOU SERVE???  OTHER THAN NOT KNOWING SOMETHING BECAUSE THIS ISN’T YOUR FIELD?  he’s just...a puppet?  a...i don’t even have another sarcastic example.  legit, though, if we get any inkling of busy i can’t do squat as i have no one to do it with.  there is this part of me that just says not to worry. they did this to themselves.  the more practical part of me knows he’ll blame someone else for all future failings. and it’s frustrating.

GOD i could gush abt him forever so long love rant unda the cut... still a better luv story than twilight

i really super liked him freshmen year and i ended up telling him and got Rejected! we stayed friends and that was cool and yadda yadda yadda

then in june, he told me over discord that he had completely changed his mind and was REALLY into me... like Really into me and i was dating someone else at the time so it wasn’t right for me to say yes obviously. i rejected him and told him i had a gf

so we had an awkward three month period of Romantic Tension where none of our conversations were Quite Right and there was always something being left unsaid! neither of us brought up the rejections and we never talked about how we felt about it... licherally we just acted like neither of them happened

THEN FINALLY SCHOOL STARTED and i forced him to come to a football game with me! i had to take pictures for yearbook and needed someone to drag along so i didn’t die of football induced boredom 

we sat on the ground because the bleachers were crazy crowded and about five minutes after the game started, we were talking abt personality types (he’s an intj n i’m an enfp) and our convo went something like this:

cancer boy: from everything i’ve read, i’m supposed to jump to the most logical conclusions about things rightme: yeahcancer boy: i feel like the one time that i acted on emotion rather than logic was when i didn’t take you to homecoming last year even though you obviously wanted to go with meme, literally holding back tears: oh really haha

i had never felt more misguided and confused in my Life because 1.) i had a gf and now i just feel torn about everything and 2.) holy FUCK we’re finally gonna talk about the rejections it’s time i’m not READY

luckily at that very second, my virgo friend and her squad came over to us and asked if we wanted to go across the street to the park and ditch the football game. i had never reacted to something so fast we were outta there in a solid minute

we all hung out for like twenty minutes and then eventually cancer boy and i branched off from everyone and started walking around in the dark talking and i decided It Was Time

so i brought up the rejections and we had a fuckign two hour long depressing “haha everything would’ve worked out if the timing wasn’t so inconvinient when we confessed” feelings session

so then eventually his mom took me home and i proceeded to give myself a headache thinking about every interaction we’ve ever had and what to Do about it because we were obviously still into each other

the next day i invited him to finish up our convo and work stuff out! we went to a lil pond and i made a list of things i wanted to talk about (he called me a nerd but i JUST MADE A LIST SO I WOULDN’T FORGET SHUT UP)

and i made him ask me out again because by then i was single and i thought it’d be fitting considering the double rejection... now we’re dating :”””)

OKAY SO personality wise. he’s a triple water sign (cancer sun pisces moon scorpio rising) and y     e  a h

he’s very outwardly shy and awkward and has the nicest green eyes ever!! they’re so pretty

he’s SUPER GOOD AT MATH... like super super good it astounds me sometimes! he just Knows it! he’s also really smart in general and we have a really bantery relationship that usually starts off with me proposing something dumb and him being like “no laci what” and then i’m like “BUT WHAT IF” and then he considers what i have to say... i live for that

yesterday he came over after school and we watched the room n i kissed him on the cheek (IT WAS SO NICEEEEEEEE) and then he tried to work up the courage to kiss me back for literally thirty minutes but couldn’t do it bc he was too nervous :

here’s part one of however many i decide!

bill noticed there was something up with stan right away.

he slowly started distancing himself from the loser. making excuses as to why he couldn’t meet up with them at the barrens, cancelling on them last minute before going to the aladdin, and his his head was always tilted down looking at his phone.

bill found it odd, stan was never that kid. he was always pitching into the conversation, the day that stopped was the day bill knew things were changing.

richie started to pick up on it too. he went back to bill, ranting about how he knew stan, and how that wasn’t him.

bill had never seen richie so serious.

“i-i-i know, rich. i wanna know what’s going on too.” bill gnawed at his bottom lip as he rubbed the back of his neck. he was worried. he’d known stan for eleven out of the seventeen years he’d been alive and stan never acted like this.

“i’m gonna talk to him.” richie moved swiftly towards bill’s door, but he grabbed his arm before he could get any further. richie was too impulsive for that– he’d go in pissed as hell and yelling. bill didn’t want that.

“richie, i-if you g-g-go in there angry, nothing is g-gonna go w-w-well.” bill warned seriously. richie clenched his jaw and looked down. bill could only imagine what he was going through– riche’d known stan for longer than he did.

“i’m worried.” he muttered. bill only nodded and slid his hand up to richie’s shoulder before squeezing it.

“i-i-i’ll talk to him and let you know what he says.” bill reassured calmly. richie pushed his glasses back up onto the bridge of his nose and looked into bill’s kind eyes.

trust him.

“thanks” he nodded solemnly. “go cool down. talk to eddie.” bill joked slightly. richie sent him a playful glare before grinning and walking out of the other’s boy’s room calmly.

“s-s-stan.” bill knocked on his open door. stan sat up at the sound of the familiar voice.

     "bill? what are you– why are you here?“ stan stood up quickly, causing bill to raise both eyebrows.

"i-i can’t come over to s-s-see my best fr-friend?” bill asked weirdly and stan scratched the back of his head. what the hell is going on?

     "not without calling, bill.“ stan sighed as he looked down. "you would’ve flaked.” bill spoke up, without a stutter, much to stan’s surprise.

stan felt terrible for being so distant from his friends, he did. he felt awful for keeping secrets because his friends trusted him, and he was letting them down.

“i-i wouldn’t have flaked—”  

    “sure,” bill nodded sarcastically.

bill didn’t want to come off as rude, but he was tired of whatever stan was pulling. maybe richie should have cone to talk to him.

    stan was appalled. he’d expect this type of hostility from richie, bev– hell, even eddie.

but not bill.

     "bill, listen. i know i haven’t been the greatest friend lately–"

“th-that’s one way to put it.” bill crossed his arms over his chest, which only made stan’s heart fall deeper into his stomach.

“i have a reason,” he went on, almost pleadingly. was the reason a good one? well, that was up to bill to decide.

“a reason y-you c-c-couldn’t share with the rest of us?” bill questioned and stan shut his eyes.

“it’s complicated, ok.” he breathed.

“what’s complicated?” an unfamiliar voice to bill asked weirdly. stan’s heart started racing and him his anxiety spiked.

oh, great.

bill turned to see a girl, almost as tall as stan with light brown skin and dark, wild, curly hair.

      “tal, you weren’t supposed to be here for another fifteen minutes.” the tone in stan’s voice wasn’t annoyed, per say. more like a mixture of that and helplessness.

bill stayed quiet, confused as to who the pretty girl was, what she was doing in stan’s house, why she was early, and what the hell was going on.

“well, i wanted to see my boyfriend.” the girl grinned and bill scrunched his eyebrows together.

    “girlfriend?” bill questioned as he struggled to keep the upset look off his face.

tal’s eyes widened as she looked between the two boys.

    oh.

“you’re bill, right?” tal spoke softly. stan looked at her with an unreadable expression, while bill forced himself to nod.

    “i-i’m tal. stan’s told me a lot about you and the rest of his friends.” she gave a small, warm smile as she held her hand out. she’s sweet— i don’t like her.

bill was surprised at his own thoughts. he should be happy for stan, but he wasn’t. it was probably because stan hadn’t told him, but there was a feeling he couldn’t shake when he thought about  it—

stan has a girlfriend.

“i wish i could say the same.” bill shook her hand. tal’s smile fell and stan flinched.

    “i was gonna try and meet up with you guys today and introduce tal to everyone.” stan told bill, who was still trying process what was happening.

“tr-tr-trying to meet up w-w-with people you haven’t talked to in d-days?” bill snapped. stan gripped his hands together and looked down.

“don’t b-bother. i’ll let everyone know. n-n-n—” he couldn’t force the words “nice to meet you” out to tal. partly because of his stutter, partly because if he was being honest, it wasn’t nice to meet her, not at all.

“bill, come on—”

   "i’ll s-s-see you a-around, stan.“ bill licked his lips as he turned to leave the uris household.

he rushed down the stairs, rushing past mr. and mrs. uris, not bothering to say goodbye like he would normally do.

this isn’t good.

okokokok so like i was talking with my friend about kai and kurono because i’ve just been thinking about this for a while,,,,

does kurono /know/ about pops and what kai did? like what if kurono didn’t? what if kurono just thought that pops just got sick suddenly and and went into a coma. because there was no way that a healthy (probably) person could  abruptly fall into a coma.

i can definitely see kai not telling anyone what he did and just pretending that pops got sick. he probably would do this to make him seem like a white knight for bravely taking over the yakuza.

if kai went this route, i feel like if hari ever found out, kai would kill him. yes he said kai, mimic, and hari were something he saw value in, but i dont see him being above killing them if something went wrong.

like, only a true disgusting monster can lead a group who follow him blindly, while he sits there and cuts a young girl open again and again. hes not a soft uwu boy. neither are any of his followers. they know what they’ve done and yet they did nothing to stop it.

kai is a bad person. he’s a monster. anyway, thank for sittin gin through my rant :000
