I don’t think Belos is going to die.

Defeated? Absolutely. Dead and gone? I don’t think so.

I honestly think he is going to be trapped in the mirror realm that the Collector was trapped in and Luz accidentally went to in Yesterday’s Lie.

Trapped unable to escape less someone lets him out again. He becomes a myth, watching and waiting, trying to manipulate someone desperate into opening the door for him. Hell maybe when the door slams shut behind him he can do nothing but watch. Glaring out at both the Witches who trapped him and Humans who moved on without him.

He becomes some creature remembered only as Belos the "Mirror Monster" or the "Witch Hunter", not Philip Humanity's Savior or Witch Finder General. But importantly...He is a Monster that can come back.

Because Philip is a creation of humanity. He embodies the worst of us and we are constantly Dealing with Philips, whether in our personal lives or as a society when they become a Belos, someone with power and influence and uses that for their own gain and goals instead of the betterment of us all. People who want to see others gone, who won't stop until they eradicate or crush what they see as unnatural or weird. And you can't reason with them because they do not see you as a Person but as a enemy. They have to be Drowned out by Others. Others who are capable of love and reason, who when they see suffering have compassion and can be appealed for help.

So that the Philips in the world are outnumbered and afraid because they know that people KNOW that they are wrong. That they have their power taken away and made to be seen as fools, incapable of love or kindness, and when they appear only met with looks of disdain for every word out of their mouth is laced with poison and hatred.

I think its paramount that we make our Philips into Jacob Hopkins essentially. And if that fails, we lock them away.

And so the evils of humanity are defeated, for a time, we learn and grow better but we stumble and fail. Fall back on our baser instincts and forget kindness and compassion and allow the Evil Back Out.

And I am rambling. What was I saying...Oh yeah

I think it would also be ironic if the puritan witch hunter basically became Satan locked away forever for all of his crimes. Unable to self reflect and recognize that he has become the "ultimate" evil, trapped in a hell of his own making.

i am officially, FINALLY all caught up again in both the manga and the anime for bsd and OH BOY there are thoughts and opinions but also WHO CARES because my tags are finally FREE to be unfiltered

#hnnnnnn #i am SO happy #i am BEYOND happy #i love the arc even if i complain about it a lot #but i am also hnnnnnn…….displeased……..with a few things #the anime fr about to catch these hands #i already KNEW they were rushing it from the few episodes i had watched #but the anime is usually SO good at pacing #that i fully trusted that certain things would be slowed down for significance/impact/etc #but instead the pacing just stayed WAY too fast for me #and they ended up cutting SO many small moments that had SO much importance like im going crazy about some of them #some of the lines they cut……. #or even adjusted slightly that it drew away the impact #ugh i KNOW there was a LOT to balance and a LOT of content to get through #but i am a little disappointed that so many emotional scenes were what ended up suffering for it #this is why i don’t usually like reading the manga for animes i watch #i always end up getting disappointed by the limitations of adaptations #that being said though regardless of general limitations i don’t think some of the rushing is above criticism #and i am going to go and eat glass while seething over the particularly offensive rushing/cuts😤 #OKAY DONE that’s the last i’ll say about it i would just go crazy if i didn’t vocalize it somewhere #in general i was VERY happy with the arc in both the manga and the anime i have SO much love for it #definitely a favorite for me #and THAT concludes my very vague no spoiler review #i swear one of these days my self control is going to snap #and im just going to start posting my full essays and content analysis shit about everything i watch here #but for now we’re safe and all my rants will stay spoiler free tag paragraphs instead godbless🙏

i know the rare and epic bugs are supposed to be yknow,, rare and epic so it wouldn't make sense if they spawned all the time. that being said, it's bad enough that the game has time limits on certain bugs, adding super low spawn rates just makes it worse. imo players should never feel like they have to spend hours playing to catch one bug

#fishing is easier imo just because you can do the little bait and pull trick #so you dont waste as much time catching every single fish #but the bugs spawns are just Bad #i understand devs wanting to encourage players to play More like i get it #but players should never feel forced to do so because of annoying game mechanics #again its one of those quality of life things #plenty of games have low spawn rates for certain things #but when palia is mixing low spawn rates with time gates and location locks its just... dude..... #*game criticism #and listen im not saying that these bugs should be popping up everywhere #i like that there are different spawn rates #but rn the balance is bad imo #i feel like if players are rage quitting and going online to desperately ask for help catching a Rare bug.. maybe you should reconsider #like not even epic ones.. i see people complain about the duskwing butterfly too and that one is just uncommon!! #low spawn rates is fine but when you also have specific areas and time spawns.. those spawn rates should be a little higher imo #its bad if only one specific rare bug spawns in its allotted time frame and it doesnt respawn if it goes away #that means literally only one person on a server can catch certain bugs #thats bad game design devs i feel like im going crazy #okay im done ranting now back to simping for tish
