as promised here is an overview of my designs for the Valar, in response to the lovely anons from this ask post ! I think Namo was the only one I’ve formally drawn before in the Feanorian Week pieces lolol, but I had some designs laying about for Manwe and co for a few months that I procrastinated on 

boi i am gonna go into a 1000 yr sleep before i attempt drawing more than 7 characters in one piece ever again 😂 i wanted to do a similar drawing for Melkor and his posse so he didn’t get left out, but my right hand is in ~pain~ so he and mairon only get a shoddy black and white sketch for now

some hurt/comfort poses exploring the different dynamics of some of my fav relationships! 🙇‍♀️ i did a few more of these with non-house of finwe dynamics like tyelpe-annatar, gilgalad-elrond, etc which i might post... eventually lmao 

about the marks/words on maedhros’ back: i hc one of his scars etched onto him by morgoth during his time in angband is nossënahta/kinslayer in quenya... though that’s a shoddy direct translation by me so if it’s linguistically inaccurate pls lemme know !!
