hi hello i see u in my tags and i also need to draw them curled up in bed together reading books

Oh hello hello!!
Yes you see the vision you must draw Michigan and Ohio, lifelong rivals, cuddling in bed because they hate each other so so so much
For a fellow visionist, and for @abcwordsurge , I will share the lil doodle I had for them
Mitch strikes me as the type to be constantly touching his partner. Skinship is just comforting, so he’ll cling onto Ohio even when they’re not really interacting, even if it looks uncomfortable
Yea the punching counts as skinship to him
ALSO can we talk about how they’re literally the red/blue ship like Texas and Cali could be them if only they actually fought each other. Those two need to step up their enemies game fr if they wanna keep up

ngl but the chinese balloon bs making headlines everyday when ohio is undergoing an ecological crisis due to a toxic train's derailment (that workers were trying to strike to prevent) is just peak US political theater. it's incredibly infuriating

Since we got back from Christmas in MA, I’ve managed to keep the dining table clear of life debris and detritus and my brother and I have eaten evening meals together here. I can’t recall the last time I sat at the table to have my coffee. Usually I’m at my beautiful Ohio curly maple writing desk to journal and paint, but this morning Ginger didn’t come down from the bed right away and I didn’t want to have to come back down to let her outside so I sat here next to the drafty bank of north-facing windows. In the dream just before I woke up, I was driving and at a stoplight on the south end of Kent when the baker turned left in front of me onto my road in the opposite direction. We made eye contact and both turned our heads to follow each other, then he sped away and I watched the exhaust cloud from his old red Explorer fill the air between us. Goodbye. Good morning. Time to go sit in front of the SAD lamp for an hour.
