Concept my friend came up with in regards to ABYS—what if Ingo and Emmet had hypovolemic POTS? They went from not having enough blood to having too much, they just can't win.

They have two hearts and sorta kinda two circulatory systems that are connected in ways that allow them to work. (If they weren't, they never would've made it to being born and that wouldn't have been a very fun AU)

I have mostly just thought to myself "they just have the right amount of blood" and hand waved it but this is a neat take! Looks like making sure you drink a lot of fluids and have a good amount of sodium and electrolytes is how to manage it daily; with how big of workaholics these guys are I can see them having like. Pokémon universe version of Gatorade (Feraligatrade?) stashed everywhere XD

But yes, they cannot win XD not yet, that is!

(Oh and for those not medically inclined; this is basically medical terms for "fast heart rate due to not enough blood" disease)
