Raghuvan, Teri raah nihaare
chapter 6 here
Chapter 7
S/n: i have nothing to say in defense
Adikavya took a deep breath. No news have been received from Ram's house in past some days. Did he finally manage to call the wedding off? She slowed her steps down, didn't want to go home so soon. Her friends in college had nothing but sympathy for her when they got to know about the whole Ram and the brothel ordeal. Which was annoying- very annoying. Good thing college was ending soon, it was already hard enough for her to attend it with her family's permission. The more she stays away from the idea of marriage, the more she can study.
Adikavya huffed, turning the corner, almost knocking into someone. She looked up to find Akhtar there. Akhtar was a friend she made before college even started. He lived alone, away from his home in another state. Akhtar gave a long look to her and disappeared in the narrow street between two buildings. Adikavya sighed and followed him, knowing where they were heading to.
Akhtar was a tall man with curly head of hair and a beige kurta as his trademark. On a rather special moment, you might catch him wearing his septum ring. His demeanor was bold, strong, intimidating. But he was still as innocent and shy as a child. Although, he sure was a born leader.
Adikavya and Akhtar sat together, a boiled corn cob in their hands, swinging their legs as her anklets jingled in the eastern winds. "Why do you hate Ram?"
Adikavya looked at him in an awestruck confusion. This was way too out of ordinary.
"I don't"
"Don't lie"
"I don't hate him. I hate how it will be impossible to live my life how I want it to be if I get married to him"
"Why"
"Because first, I don't want to get married. And he is in love with someone else"
"Isn't that Sita from the mahal across the river?"
"Yeah"
"Wasn't she your friend?"
Adikavya froze on spot. She could feel the winds passing through her hair, her palms on the rough surface of the stone they sat on. She could feel the glowing fire in her heart of anxiety and hiding the truths. Akhtar promised to never utter this relationship in the world. Ever. Wordlessly, she got up and walked back home, leaving a hesitant Akhtar behind.
============================================
Ram remembered when Sita laid by the banks of Ganga, drinking her sorrow away. Her hair like strands of gold woven with leaves of tulsi. Eyes keen like wide leaves of peepal, her bindi brighter than the moon. Ram wanted to touch her white saree, her scent after she has just taken a bath. The voice of sita's ghungroo chiming through the courtyard, mingling with chirps of maina on the railing of balcony.
Ram slowly smiled at the faint memory of his time in Sita Mahal, the ends of his lips tugged up by string of sadness. It's been two days since he left the Sita Mahal but was still finding his way home. Did he even have a home at this point? The only golden palace to call his home was the shining sandalwood arms of sita. Why does all the pleasure comes to an end? But she was just not a pleasure anyways. Never was.
Ram struggled to stand on his own legs at this point. He has been searching for his Sita throughout the roads of Banaras, but always gets tired remembering she is nowhere but the place he will never step a foot again. He could make out the road that led to Adikavya's home. Adikavya. The woman never loved him, never wanted to marry him. But she had the need to escape her family, to find a chance good enough to leave everything behind. Ram also saw the terrace of his own- Babai's house from a distance in blurriness. It was quarter to twelve, the streets empty with warmth of streetlights being Ram's only comfort. He slumped down by the pole, the excess amount of alcohol finally getting to his head.
-
Adikavya hurried to close the windows in a hurry with all the mosquitos following the sweet scent in her house. It was way too late but she was desperate to get rid of them. The constant whirring and biting has been a disaster for her sleep.
In the distant streetlamp light, she could figure out an unconscious shadow by the pole. Must be a drunkard, she thought. Her bangles jingled lightly when she reached for the window gate. As she shut the wooden window gently as to not awaken anyone in the house, a fleeting thought of the drunkard being Ram passed her mind. It was true that no one knew where Ram had been from past two days. Although Adikavya and her family assumed that 'he must be lying in a ditch somewhere', she was, if not equally, but a little worried- for the sake of humanity.
Covering her face with a shawl, her hurried footsteps were the only sound of life in the dead street at night. Adikavya wished it was not Ram. That would be a lot less burden on her. Even if it was Ram, what would she do? Who would she call for help? And most importantly, why would she call anyone for help? Ram was no one related to her or was not going to be related to her anytime soon. Adikavya's steps only quicken at the sight of a body as muscular as Ram. If it was Ram, she would have to drag him his own house and leave him there. No other options.

A TRIAL, A LOCKDOWN, AND A LESSON IN DORNISH TEMPER;
when the party of volantis were spotted on the horizon of the dunes, they were awaited by the court of sunspear: adorned in white. a shade of peace, anywhere but dorne; for in dorne, white was a shade of mourning. the greatest of men had been cremated, his ashes sprinkled within the rivers of dorne: and yet, they awaited them in his home.
it were supposed to be a joint effort, the trial to condemn those who had been behind the brutal assassination of dorne's justiciar; and yet, when the greetings and pleasantries were spoken, the tone changed. expressions in the room changed, the air turned thick when four men were presented to the court of sunspear. chained. the agreement was a trial. now it were an execution. there came hushed whispers in the crowds as there was sudden movement by the martell prince, pulling the first minister, the second minister and the high commander to the side whilst the princess regent addressed the volantese.
she need not have looked behind her to know this was not to happen. "there has been a mistake, my lords. a trial is not an execution in dorne." only, it were painfully obvious that the dornish were not supposed to be part of the trial. how could they trust such actions taken were enough to bring justice for the death of rashid jordayne? it was then the prince of house martell stepped beside her, hands behind his kurta as he looked upon those who gave them men as though they were offerings. myriam quietly noticed the old bruising on them, the branding.
they exchanged a small glance. slaves. heated discussion went nowhere, and finally, there came the words that had been agreed by the group behind myriam should this go nowhere. "lock the palace down." came the words of the martell prince - and whilst the princess regent inwardly wondered whether they were jumping too high, too quickly, she nodded. "lock the palace down, high commander."
what happens in lockdown; (whilst myriam and the other courtiers remain trying to stress the fact dorne requires a trial to happen, including dornish judges and for evidence to be reviewed)
joy manwoody leads searches of the belongings of items be longing to the volantese in which she finds letters addressed to lord wylliam swann and lord deimos velaryon. the letters themselves remain blank, but joy is forced to restrain a man when she takes the empty letters into her custody. why did he react in such a way?
later on, joy is walking back to the main great hall when she finds a volantene in an area of the castle that should be locked off, close to the entrances of princess loreza martell's apartments. what would the man have wanted with the former wife of rashid jordayne?
baashir dayne finds a heavy pouch of westerland gold, imprinted with the symbol of a lion upon within the belongings of a man who resorted to violence. the moment his blade drew, baash was forced to cut down the man. why would they have westerland gold on them? what are they being paid for?
amaia sand sees zahra sand speaking with a woman she does not recognise, dressed in volatene fashion, outside the main halls of sunspear's hall. the conversation appears tense; but this woman is a paramour of one of the lords of volantis.

Filmi prompts from old and our favourite bollywood songs that can be used for your desi romantic stories or as a cute little idea for your fake scenarios. Kya malum sochte sochte kab manifest hojaye?
1. Neele Neele Ambar Par (Kalaakaar)
-- This summer vacation you are at your nani ghar. The nights provide respite from the scorching heat so you run off to the terrace every night to sit and gaze at the moon until one fine evening, you see a boy opposite to your house wistfully gaze at the moon and scribble something on his notebook. His wavy hair falls gracefully on his eyes, and you can feel your heart melt. It's full moon, and she is right on the top of the terrace, letting her moonbeams fall on this handsome quiet writer. Perhaps, he realized someone's gaze over him. He looks up, and you swear to God that you have never seen such a beautiful boy ever. The boy blushes and continues writing while stealing glances at you.
2. Mitwa (Chandni)
-- It's the last day you both will ever meet in the school premises. Yes, it's farewell today. You are dressed in a yellow chiffon saree. For the first time, your school decided to make the boys wear kurtas instead of the usual suits, and the sight was too pretty for your eyes. Your boyfriend wore the typical black kurta with cuffed sleeves that made your heart go dhak dhak. Loads of fun filled dancing, canteen ka khana, principal ke speech ke baad arrived the time to say goodbyes. School had kept the farewell after board exams so this was literally the last time you all gathered together. After hugging your friends, you go to the school main gate and find him leaning against the adjacent wall.
Hand in hand, both of you walk outside the school. 'Everything is going to change, isn't it?" You ask. He takes a bite of his ice cream, and answers, "Yes. No more school classes, no more sneaking out and we might have a long distance going on, but some things will stay permanent."
"Aur voh kya?"
"Tere mere honthon pe mithe mithe geet mitwa.."
3. Bole Chudiyan (K3G)
-- You are the bride's sister, and that boy is your acadmeic rival at school. However, for now, he is also your jija's dear brother. Today is Sangeet, and you were determined to outperform ladke vale. Both of you were good at academics, but also at dancing. This was a test and a chance to rub defeat on his face.
That was your actual plan until two days ago, your didi jiju decided to have a group combined performance where you and your rival would be the lead dancers to unite both the enemies (you and him). Needles to say, you were mad. There was no way you would dance with his smooth moves and charismatic style. He was mad too. He would never dance with your graceful bollywood moves straight from 90s Saroj Khan choreohgraphy.
Keeping aside snide remarks and your school rivalry, both of you managed to choreograph and coordinate everyone dashed with a little tension that did not go unnoticed by didi jija and cousins. Dressed in a baby pink lehenga, you see him arrive on the stage in a golden white sherwani. He sends a two finger salute to your direction while you roll your eyes.
'Aake meri duniya mein vapas aajana' you pull him gently as per the choreography. He stumbles towards you, not aware of his scarf clinging on to your bracelet. 'Sehra baandh ke mahi tu mere ghar aana...' He twirls you halfway and you notice that his scarf is stuck on your bracelet.
You hate how his stupid handsome smirk is making butterflies fly in your body. After the semi twirl, he turns you over in front, his arm around your bare waist causing you to gasp silently. God knows what came over him. He lightly pecks your cheek in front of everyone and discreetly removes his stuck scarf.
'Oye soni kitti soni aaj tu lagdi ve bas mere sath yeh jodi teri sajdi ve' Didi and jija come in and dance to their assigned part. You run away from him quickly to calm your racing heart.
He is looking at you, a grin gracefully sitting over his pretty lips. You bashfully look up. 'Haan main ho gaya tera sajna.' It's the time for all the boys to come together on the stage. Your rival shoots a smooth wink before going to dance.
4. Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga (1942: A love story)
You accidentally fell from your cycle by speeding over the speed breaker. Obviously you won't cry. You are fifteen now. A girl quickly arrives towards you, and in a soft voice asks, "Hey, you okay? That was a terrible fall. Dhyan kidhar tha?" Wincing, you look up, and see a pretty girl with silver jhumke and white salwar blowing at your wound. She is wearing a multi coloured bandhani dupatta. In two seconds, you forget the blood oozing out of your knee. The only red your eyes are focused on are on the pretty red shade of the girl's lips.
She is about to tear her dupatta to tie it across your wound. Your hand immediately holds her wrist, and you feel electricity jolt in your fingers. "Itna sundar dupatta kharab mat karo. Ghar idhar paas hai. Just help me to reach my gate, please."
Shaking her head, she tears her dupatta while you let out a gasp. "You are bleeding too much, besides I can always buy a new dupatta." She finally looks up at you and smiles. That's when you get a clear picture of her face.
Doe eyes lightly lined with kajal, a small bindi right between her eyebrows, and a small stone nath on her nose. She looks heavenly! You think how in front of such a beautiful girl, you look dust laden after falling off your bicycle.
"Aise mat dekho... tumhe pyaar ho jayega."
*:..。o○ ○o。..:**:..。o○ ○o。..:**:..。o○ ○o。..:*
Okay so the last one was inspired from @morally-gayy series.
There are going to be more. I can make them shorter though if you would want that.

Hi hi! I'm Marvolo/Marv, I use he/they/it/xer/star pronouns! I'm 19 and I really wanted to start taking requests! Something happened recently with my dad so I thought maybe doing little drabbles and headcanons of some of my favorite characters might help get my mind off of things!! I'm also willing to do poly ships such as Giyuu x Reader x Sanemi as long as it isn't like minor x adult shit or just headcanons for ships that don't include reader. I'm not all that sure how to do like introductions and shit so I'm sorry if this is kinda half assed, I'll be taking requests on discord ik putting my discord on here is risky but fuck it, add me on there for requests or leave a comment on this post, pls I'm begging you 🥲

aot characters attending garba
pairings: various!aot characters x indian!reader
pronouns: second person used
summary: what the aot characters would be like attending garba with y/n
a/n: FOR ALL MY DESI READERS, HAPPY NAVRATRI!!! i went for garba last night and i didn’t know anything🥲 i was struggling a lot but i still did ok LMAO. also this is morden au. ENJOY NOW
also i’m sorry for being so ia </3
cw: i think like one swear word
EREN
lsn, he can’t do garba for shit. he definitely looks hot in a kurta tho🤭 like i can imagine him wearing a black kurta with a gold dupata and look so fine. but he gave up on the spot. he was just admiring you in ur (fav colour) ghagra and dancing so beautifully that he wanted to give it another try because of you🥹 he had a fun time though and he was willing to go again next year because the vibe and overall feeling was amazing and he wants to experience it again.
ARMIN
ok. he did pretty well and learned so quickly. he definitely couldn’t do the difficult steps but the slightly easier ones went smoothly for him you were actually shocked. i see him wearing light blue kurta with white pants cause this colour honestly suits him so well. he had a fun time for sure and had such a proud look on his face when he saw you dancing so gracefully. he got upset when he saw a few other guys dancing so well cause he wished he could dance like that. but don’t worry you assured him that he did great<33
MIKASA
mikasa definitely wore a red ghagra and looked so beautiful you were honestly in awe and could not stop staring at her. now the question is how did she dance. now she’s not the kind to dance but was willing to give it a try for you and like armin she got a little insecure and upset that she couldn’t dance as well the other girls there. you were even willing to teach her and she is a quick learner for sure. you loved how she was willing to go out of her comfort zone for you and try something new even though she couldn’t do it.
LEVI
levi isn’t one for dancing either but guys. him in a kurta😩 ugh he would look SO fine. definitely would wear a dark green kurta cause that’s just his colour for some reason idk why. he wouldn’t dance at all no matter how hard you tried to make him. he just would not dance at all and you’d be like “motherfucker why did you even come here?” even though he didn’t dance, he admired the way you danced. the way your ghaghara would move in the air when you spun and how your hair would flow too. he loved it. he promised that next time he would dance as long as you taught him.
SASHA
hear me out. THIS WOMAN CAN DANCE. LIKE OMG SHE NEEDS AN AWARD!!!! i feel like she would wear kurta or ghagra. i wasn’t really sure cause she would look good in both tbh. but woman has skills. lots of it that too. even though she has skills, she’s a bit clumsy so she fell a few times but she’s ok don’t worry <33 and yes she definitely had a BLAST doing garba and 10000% do it again and is already waiting for next year to come.
HANGE
they are also energetic but cannot dance </3 garba was honestly a challenge for them but i promise they gave it their best and they had fun. that’s all that matters. you actually taught them a few steps before going but still couldn’t do it. hange ABSOLUTELY wore a golden kind of kurta and they KILLED IT!! no cause hange in a kurta is a need and you were drooling at this point. like said before they had fun and absolutely do it again.
PORCO
pock my little babes<333 i can tell you he can do garba 100% like man didn’t even try and he did it so flawlessly everyone’s jaw dropped, except yours. you had such a proud face like “that’s my baby” cause you taught him for HOURS😭 he definitely struggled but it was worth it at the end cause everyone was impressed and even cheered for him. white is his colour according to me so he wore like an off white kurta with a gold dupata but he was having the time of his life and even got to dance with you.

Pairing: Killua Zoldyck X afab!Reader
Sypnosis: It is Killua's birthday. MC and the gang decided to celebrate his birthday and make some sweet memories with him
Word Count: 896
Tumblr media
"Happy Birthday Killua!" Everyone greeted the silverette with a warm happy birthday. He is wearing a dark blue, long-sleeved shirt with a blue-green tie, and a light blue vest with a gold button over it.
"Thanks!" He thanked everyone while sitting at the table, smiling brightly.
"Here! It's all yours" [Name] placed a large tray on the table. There is a cake that looks like a robo-chocolate on the silver tray. Killua's eyes widened in awe after seeing his favorite chocolate on the tray, especially when it was turned into a big cake. "Really?!" He asked you, eyes sparking with happiness.
"Uh-huh!" You nodded and smiled.
"Okay then!" He took the plate and fork on the side and grab some of the cake. The silverette didn't hesitate to eat the cake instantly, munching on the sweet.
"It's delicious!"
Everyone just watched the birthday boy enjoy his food. "Let's hurry next with the presents, shall we?" The blonde suggested, Leorio, Gon and you nodded in agreement.
"Here!" First off is Gon, he gave Killua a creme-colored gift box wrapped in red ribbon. "Thanks, Gon!" Killua thanked the spiky-haired male as he accepted the gift, Gon just grinned. "Come on, open it," You told him, Killua set down the plate and unwrap the gift. Once it was unwrapped, he took out a medium-sized robo-chocolate pillow.
"Wow!" Killua's eyes widened in awe, and his blue orbs sparkled in delight. "Here, mine's next" Leorio gave Killua his present. The gift box is light blue in color and had darker blue for the ribbon. The ex-assassin set the pillow down and then accepted the gift.
"Thanks, old man!"
"I'm not old!" Leorio yelled at the young male as everyone laughed.
Killua opened the box and then got out some new clothes. "Leorio's gifts aren't that bad, after all," He smirked to himself. "Of course, it's not!" The older male said grumpily. "Okay. Here is mine" Kurapika chuckled then gave the white-haired boy another gift box. It is wrapped in a blue green-colored wrapper with a white ribbon.
"Thanks, Kurapika"
The Kurta just nodded as Killua opened his next gift. He got out a framed picture of them. The frame is silver and had small sapphire gems to ornament it with. "This would hold a thousand memories..." The boy said as he stared at the picture with a smile.
"Yosh! Mine is next!" You declared as you got your gift and gave it to him. "Thanks [Name]" Killua thanked you as he accepted the gift. "No problem!" You just winked at him. Killua blushed and then focused on the gift box, it is wrapped in a pink wrapper and tied with a red ribbon.
"That is made from love. Treasure it" You told him, hands on your hips. Killua's blush got even deeper at your statement.
"Awwww~ These two are cute together!" Leorio's voice earned their attention. Killua glared hard at the male while trying his best to hide his flushed face. You just blush at the older male's statement. "True. The sweetness can be felt over here" The blonde agreed.
"K-Kurapika!" Both you and Killua said at the same time, the two of you exchanged looks before blushing again.
"They are even in sync with each other" Gon seconded, flashing the two of you a smile. "G-Gon! Not you too!" Killua said, the spiky male just grinned and then made a peace sign.
"Come on, let's leave them here," Leorio said as he stood up from his seat and then went toward the door. Kurapika and Gon followed suit. "H-hey!" You called on them, turning around to see them leave. "Good luck~" Were Leorio's last words before completely leaving the room. The blonde and the black-haired male also left and closed the door to leave the two of you there.
"Damn, that old man!" Killua hissed under his breath, eyebrows twitching in annoyance.
"Well... That's a bit good" You stated, looking back to him and cooling your blush down. "Why's that good?" He asked you. "Just open the gift" You instructed him with a smile. "Okay..." He sighed then do as you said. After opening it, he got out packs of robo-chocolate.
"Wow! Thanks [Name]!" His eyes sparkled again after seeing his favorite sweets in the world. "You're welcome" You chuckled.
"What's this?" He got out a letter hidden under all the robo-chocolate. Your heart skip a beat after seeing that he got the letter already. He opened the letter and read the contents, while reading, his cheeks turned crimson red. "You......" He lowered the paper and looked at you, you avoided his gaze while feeling all nervous.
"Yes. I love you..."
Killua cannot actually believe your words, you confessed to him exactly on his birthday. Now, you are really, really nervous. "I actually don't know if you feel the same..."
"Believe it or not [Name], I also love you from the start" He also confessed, now you're dumbstruck. You looked at him and saw his flushed face. "You do?" You asked in disbelief. "Yes," He nodded then smiled. "I'm so glad!" You said then hugged him on the spot.
Killua is actually surprised by your actions that his eyes widened, but after a while, they softened and then hugged you back.
"Happy birthday again, my Killua~"

"Esteemed personages…? No, no, too much and too soon. Dearest representatives…! But they are not necessarily elected or appointed. Is 'friends' too presumptuous…? Gaaaaaah!"
The Rava Viera crossed his arms over the still-as-yet blank parchment and proceeded to slam his forehead into said arms repeatedly. His long black-tipped ears flopped and the dull smacks of flesh upon flesh drew the attention of his guest.
The aged Arkasodara in the kitchen looked up from the kettle and smiled. "Hakan, why are you struggling so? This is not like you. We have known each other for a very long time, and I have never seen you so… so… so rattled."
Those words brought an end to the self-inflicted abuse, at least. Hakan Camoa raised his head a few ilms; he pulled one arm back to draw long locks of white hair off to the side and out of his face. His skin tone was dark; the ancient golden tattoo shone on his face where light fell upon it, and his sky blue eyes gleamed as he squinted at the other man. His ears drooped as he snorted.
"It is not every day, Murtaza, that I am asked by both my Houses to attend to a task..  much less such a task! Envoys from every corner of the star, and they are coming here! They are coming here, and I volunteered my services, true, but I did not expect to be asked to… to…!"
"To play the host?" prompted the old alchemist as the kettle began to whistle. Murtaza at first glance looked typical for his people; but another moment's consideration was enough to mark him as unusual. His skin was extraordinarily weathered, for one thing. He was in the habit of wearing, as he did now, an embroidered kurta. He also wore a pair of custom-fashioned spectacles which rectified his failing eyesight; Murtaza was an old Matanga.
Old, and yet not so old as Hakan Camoa.
"To play the host!" cried Murtaza's host as the Viera sat back and threw up his arms. The dry quill was flung from one hand onto the table to clatter there until it came to rest. Hakan, disgruntled, tugged the hem of his vest down to adjust for comfort. He eyed the parchment. "It is a great responsibility."
"Hmmm. Yes, very great."
"And stressful. I wish to do well."
"Yes, very stressful."
One black-tipped ear twitched; the other rose and swiveled in Murtaza's attention a scant second before Hakan looked up. A rueful smile crept its way onto his face. "Out with it, please."
The Arkasodara did not look up from pouring tea. He simply said, "Hakan, your services would not have been accepted if the Houses did not have the utmost confidence in you. You are excellent at everything you set your mind to. Why, just the other evening, Parisa was singing your praises over the fertilizer lawsuit. So, Mister Excellent: be yourself. That is what everyone expects, no?"
The man at the table frowned, even as both of his ears rose to their full extension. He glanced back down at the parchment. "...'friends' is okay, then?"
Murtaza nodded as he carried two cups and saucers over to the table. "Congratulations," he said after setting down their drinks and taking a seat, "two hundred years later, you have finally embraced Hannish hospitality."
Hakan kicked him under the table. Murtaza laughed.

[Part 1] Kurapika x Ex-Kurta's clan Housekeeper
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He knew that the house was dusty and mouldy, so he was mentally preparing himself for having to do a general clean-up and deal with the bodies of his family.
Kurapika stood at the gate of the long driveway to the house, because of the heat he took off his suit and put on a white blouse and black trousers, the echo of his shoes emitted. But as he gets closer, he smells something burning, which worries him, so he runs into the house, but he sees the house perfectly the way it was.
"huh? " he thinks
He walks carefully into the house, waiting for someone he can throw out, the door was open so he entered silently and left looking for the person with a clenched fist, but arriving in the kitchen he saw a female figure of at least 1.59 there cooking, her hair was red and she was wearing a maid.
"Who are you?" he asked and the girl looked at him, her eyes were blue "Rin?"
"Kurapika?" her voice sounded completely shocked "You're back?"
"Yes… I didn't want to spend any more time away from home!" he explained as he lowered his guard while Rin looked down at her plate.
"Uhm keep this food, I'll make another for myself!" she says as Kurapika sits down on the cushion
"You can eat, you must be hungry!" he refuses, but she nods and puts the plate in front of him.
"You must be tired master… keep the food, I'll make another one later." she insists, making him let out a big sigh and start eating.
While Kurapika was eating, she picked up his suitcase and took it to his room. She folded the suitcase and put it on his bed, while she put the suitcase on the small table in the corner of the room. Some time later she heard footsteps coming towards the room that belonged to Kurapika.
"How's your mum?" he asked as he put his shoes on the dresser
"She died a few days ago…" she replied "I buried her along with your clan…"
"Oh…"
He looked at the girl who had a normal expression, he felt pity for her, she had to deal with her mother alone, he put his left hand on her right shoulder.
"Now I'll be here, you won't be alone any more" those words were precise.
Tears fall from Rin's face, but Kurapika hugs her in an act of affection.

~Flipped Coins~
-A Dim Welcome-
Tumblr media
Previous | Masterlist | Next
The car ride somehow passes quietly. The small dose of chloroform Chrollo administered at the start works surprisingly well, keeping Kurapika softly snoring throughout. Chrollo never thought he'd watch one of his worst enemies be at peace and actually feel... satisfied.
A private blimp and another car ride later, they're finally at the base- a large previously-abandoned manor, with artfully placed red-brick walls and twisting vines.
Pakunoda is the first to approach him as he enters, an easy gaze and an easy smile- little judgement behind them. Her eyes flicker to the kurta in his arms before settling back to him. "So, how did it go?"
Chrollo returns her easy smile, before passing through her fading form. The hall is deserted. He has not told anyone about his plans yet. If Paku had still been alive... He shakes his head. She's not. And her murderer is in his very arms. Yet.
Ascending the first curling set of stairs, there is a long dim hallway, with faded paintings and cracked wooden ornaments. He can smell the mould.
Skipping the various doors lining the corridor, he reaches the wide set of double doors at the end. The Master Bedroom. There's another room attached to it (besides the bathroom)- Chrollo can't guess what it used to be for- but he has shifted a bed and a closet inside to make a place for the kurta.
And so, he gently carries Kurapika inside, locking the door behind them before placing him on the bed. With a fond smile, he tucks him in, before softly kissing the tip of his nose.
Chrollo isn't stupid. He knows there are other abilities the kurta owns. He may have his strongest but that in now way incapacitates him from providing decent resistance upon waking up. And that's where Feitan comes in.
Producing a vial from his pocket, he lightly shakes it. The white from the LED light diffracts into sharp shades of the rainbow inside, the colours dancing around with the smallest movement. (A/N: yes this is gay juice).
Crouching down, he digs his fingers into the kurta's cheek, forcing his muscles to open his mouth. Popping off the cork, he tips the contents down his throat.
One dose should be enough for a week.

Can I go forward when my heart is here?  Chapter 3
Sorry, i am slow in writing and sometimes life gets in the way.
Hope you enjoy it. Please leave some feedback/critic, it would mean the world to me.
also you can read it on AO3 , where you can find the previous chapters too
Summary:
The tattoo originally showed belonging and responsibility to his tribe. It also represented his oath as a protector. Now it is extinguished, reflecting his divided heart.
It is Bheem's first day back in the village. He has some duty to do and Loki helps him to take care of his wounds.
What light through yonder window breaks?
Through the window, a soft beam of light shone on Bheem's sleeping face. The warming sun was like a gentle kiss on his cheek. After Lacchu had brought him back to bed, Bheem slept without any dream. Slowly he touched his cheek, still drowsy, as if he wanted to check if it really was the sun kissing him and nothing or someone else. Moving his arm was slightly painful.
The adrenaline that kept him on his feet over the last few months has left his body. His body felt like a wet, heavy sack and his muscles fought against every movement.
Even opening his eyes took some strength. As he opened them, he stared against the blank ceiling. An insect was crawling across his eyesight, it was a beautiful jewel bug.
Light bounced off the metallic green shell, making the beetle look like a walking emerald.
A closer look revealed the two black dots just behind the insect's head, followed by 4 dots indicating the beginning of the back and the seven dots on its rear. Three on each side and a large black dot right in the middle of the body.
Bheem focused on the large spot in the center. The beetle's outline began to blur and Bheem stared into an endless black void shrouded in a green glow.
The green glow changed to a bloody red, in the black void appeared angry and terrified faces, full of pity, staring at him.
They seemed to scream, but what was the reason? Suddenly the vague shapes attacked something in front of them. He blinked. Through a red curtain of blood, he saw Ram's eyes glistening with tears. “I am sorry, Bheem.” It was a whisper in his heart. Bheem blinked again and suddenly he saw the ceiling above him again.
He looked for the jewel bug, but it was gone. In the corner of his eye, he saw that someone put a plate with five Idlis and some Coconut chutney next to the rice and chicken. Something disturbed him by looking at the dish from the previous evening. He couldn't tell what it was. The Lota with chai was still steaming. So it didn't seem long ago that someone put that there at dawn.
An itch on his left arm disturbed his thoughtless and stuffed existence. Lazily he looked at the spot and noticed that his dark blue kurta was stained right where a bandage was hiding underneath. He wondered how the stain could have gotten there. After all, he changed his dressings every day and so far it hasn't happened. Nobody should see his battered body immediately and nothing should reveal it.
Accompanied by light groans, he slowly sat up and turned on the bed so that he could put his feet on the floor. Since Bheem didn't want to waste any food and he suddenly felt very hungry - like a bear after his hibernation - he reached for the bowl with rice and chicken and began to eat. From the way it was seasoned, he immediately knew it was Loki's dish. She was by far the best chef in the entire village and everybody loves her food. Life and strength slowly came back to his body. He felt how the food filled him with energy.
Now he noticed that his backpack, which he had simply dropped on the ground the day before, was placed somewhere else. Instead in the middle of the room, it leaned against the shelf now. There were only a few belongings he took back home. The white Kurta, he used to wear back in Delhi, was neatly sorted into the shelf. A photograph of abbajaan, ammijaan and akka was standing on top of the ledge. Next to the frame, a little wooden box with his selfmade medicine was stored. Worried eyes were looking for the precious gift and Bheem was instantly relieved as he saw the book lying on the desk. A smile briefly appeared on his face. He wondered who did it and when it happened, while he was grabbing the plate with Idlis. Every Idli was gone in just a bite and his stomach felt finally full again.
Since he gained his life energy back, he considered that it was a good time to take care of his wounds. Normally Malli helped him to put on the medicine because the buffed man couldn’t reach the wounds and scars on his back by himself. The traumatised child wasn’t his choice of free will, it was an emergency solution which was decided by the gods while they were fleeing together and someone had to help him.
He decided to change his clothes, before heading to Loki and Malli. Also he had to pay a visit to the village healer in view of the fact that his medicine was about to run out.
Slowly he undressed his upper body to reveal a very soiled gauze on his left biceps and triceps, where his tattoo should be. Only the arrow wasn’t covered. Since nobody should see what is under the bandage, it was the only wound that he treated when he was alone. Careful not to reopen the scab, he removed the gauze.
The picture that emerges was nasty. In place of the once decorative and meaningful tattoo was a deep wound that was only partially healed.
It was the deepest wound on the whole body. The nail whip tore off a large portion of the flesh, destroying the tattoo in the process. He winced as the memory of the pain returned for a split second. Will he ever forget the pain?
The tattoo originally showed belonging and responsibility to his tribe. It also represented his oath as a protector. Now it is extinguished, reflecting his divided heart.
He's torn between his tribe and the great legacy he was given when he and Ram destroyed the Buxton barracks.
“Oh! You are alive!” A female voice snapped him out of his thoughts. As quickly as possible and very clumsily, he tried to cover his wound with his right hand. Loki entered the hut, Malli right behind her.
“H-Hi Loki akka and good morning Malli akka. What are you doing here?” Bheem was taken aback by the women's sudden entrance.
Out of sheer joy, Malli ran towards him and started to jump. In reflex, Bheem opened both arms to embrace the child. For a moment he lost himself in the warm hug. Suddenly he became very aware that his scar is now revealed. His smile disappeared immediately as he looked over the shoulder of Malli and saw the shocked expression on Loki’s face.
Without a word, Loki turned on the spot and went outside.
Has she realized that where his tattoo once was, his oath to the tribe, is now an eyesore? Doesn't she accept him as a protector anymore, since the word of honour is broken?
A thousand thoughts shot into his head while his grip on Malli tightened.
“Anna! That’s too tight!” Malli giggled and wriggled out of his embrace.
“Oh! I am so sorry, Malli. I- I am just happy to see you.” He quickly found an excuse for not noticing his tight embrace and faked a smile, his head still full of racing thoughts.
His relief was hard to describe when Loki came back with water. She must have gotten it out of the matka outside.
“Malli. Could you go to the healer and get some fresh herbal treatment out of cantella and green chiretta, please? And also new gauze.” Loki gently stroked her daughter's cheek as she gave her the order. Malli nodded heavily and immediately ran outside.
“Phew. And now to you Bheem.” Loki sighed with a loving but strict look.
After taking the wooden box from the shelf, she crossed the room and sat next to Bheem on the bed, put the medicine box in her lap and the budgas with water on the floor.
He didn’t know what to do, what to say or even how to react.
She looked him up and down, gently pressing his shoulder so he would lean slightly forwards in order to get a better look at his back. His broad back was almost completely covered in bandages.
Silently she started to loosen his dressing and he helped her.
“Oh my… how much did you have to suffer?!” Loki's voice trembled slightly as she saw the countless injuries and scars. Bheem knew he didn’t have to answer the question.
A clean cloth was dunked into the water. The woman began to clean the open wounds.
Sometimes the touch hurted so badly that Bheem hissed through his teeth.
“I am sorry, I don’t want to hurt you, but we have to clean them before we put on the treatment.” Loki calmly explained while cold water, which ran down Bheem’s spine, made him shiver.
“Yes. I know. And I am more than thankful for you helping me. It’s just-” He sighed heavily.
”In the past few months they didn’t get the right treatment. My possibilities were very limited and I already felt bad that Malli had to see all the wounds and help me to put on the medicine. I didn’t want her to clean them too while they were still bleeding.” Without seeing his face, Loki could hear that he was close to tears.
“And that’s why you have to suffer even more now.” She laughed.
“Sometimes fate brings you to decisions that you never would have made before. This is the path the gods have chosen for you. Even if it is hard, in the end it has a meaning and comes to a destiny foreseen by the gods.” She stopped in her movement, shortly lost in her thoughts.
“You went on a painful and difficult path to rescue a taken child and you succeeded. You are truly our protector guided by the gods.” She smiled at him, giving a light pat on his shoulder.
Now he couldn’t hold back the tears. He put his face in his hands and wept bitterly.
Loki carefully took his head and gently pressed it against her chest, like a mother comforting her child. As she stroked his hair, she hummed a song and patiently let him cry.
“I am sorry, Loki. I am so sorry.” Bheem sobbed against her chest.
“What are you sorry about? You are the last person to be sorry. “ Loki was confused by his emotional apology.
“If I wouldn't have been in another tribe that day, I could have prevented the monsters from taking away Malli. I am sorry…” It was true. On that particular day Bheem had travelled to another village.
It was one of his tasks to visit the other tribes, talk to them and also do some duty.
“And I falsely took the money, because we thought they paid Malli for her song.” Loki sounded serious and melancholic.
“I literally sold her, Bheem.” She stated.
“It wasn’t your fault for not being there. In all the time you were gone, I've come to terms with the fact that it's not my fault either. It took me a long and dark time to realise this. The only ones who need to be held accountable are the British.” She lifted his heavy head and wiped away his tears with her thumbs.
“I'm probably right in assuming that they were the ones who did all this to you, right?” Loki looked him worried straight in the eyes. Bheem could see hatred for the British flashing in her eyes.
“Y- Yes. Among other things, like tigers and wolves.” He explained and for a short while he thought about sharing his story. However, it wasn’t the time yet.
“You don’t have to talk about it.” Bheem wondered if Loki could read his mind.
“The others told some stories about the rescue. They told us that you were flogged in public and tortured with a whip.” Her wet eyes broke eye contact and looked down to the floor.
“What did they say? Did they mention someone?” Bheem's expression suddenly darkened, he was seriously worried that Ram’s name was brought up.
Loki tried to remember the stories which were told at the bonfire.
“The British soldiers had beaten you nearly to death but they were stopped because your song inspired the bystanders to revolt against the Empire. Later on a man, I think Jangu said his name was Ram, rescued you and Malli. Both of you could escape. The Government captured your hero, tortured and caged him. You then freed him out of gratitude and together you defied the monsters.”
Bheem was relieved that the other men kept their agreement and didn't put Ram in a bad light. He knew that Lacchu had all the reasons to as he hated Ram. Otherwise, he feared that, if the tribe learned the truth about Ram, no one would join the revolution.
As a confirmation to Loki, he just nodded.
At this moment, Malli came back with all the errands. Both shook the sad mood away, looked at each other and simply smiled.
“We should get back to your injuries.”, said Loki with a determined and fond look.
The next hour went by. The three of them talked, laughed and joked together.
Bheem tried to soak up every second of this carefree moment.
The wounds were treated. Either Loki didn't notice the missing tattoo or she didn't want to mention it on purpose out of fear of offending Bheem. After all, she treated the wound as well. Whatever it was, the protector was glad it didn't come up.
“It is already late in the morning, we should go and prepare lunch for the workers”, Loki reminded herself loudly, so Malli knew it was time to say goodbye to Bheem.
“I should pay the mukyha (headman/leader) a visit and join the celebration”, Bheem put on his white, clean Kurta and straightened it with his hands.
Loki and Malli exchanged an undefinable look and bursted out in laughter.
“Why are you laughing?” Bheem looked clearly confused at the two women.
“The celebration is over, Anna!” Malli barely could say a word while cackling.
“What do you mean it’s over? Normally it lasts for a whole day!” Bheem looked alternately from mother to daughter and wondered if Malli was just trying to prank him.
“You overslept, Anna! You slept for a whole day!” Malli said as she and Loki left the hut.
“A whole day?” Bheem mumbled to himself, wondering how this could even happen. He never slept an entire day. However, it explained why something was bothering him about the food. It wasn’t the same as he thought it was. And that’s why his backpack changed places. He assumed that Loki put it there and unpacked it.
“Haha! I should tell…” his laughter stopped immediately and he became moody as he remembered what, or rather who, he was missing.
“Ram… Oh how I wish I could tell him this…” At least he could include it in the letter he wanted to write. But first he had all the chores to do, which he couldn't attend to in the months he was away. For his village he was still the protector.
Bheem tried to make his way through the village to the big hut of the mukyha. It wasn’t easy and it took longer than expected because every resident wanted to greet, congratulate, thank or praise him. On one side, he enjoyed being acknowledged for his hard work but on the other it was exhausting and he wished to be back at the hut again. In silence.
After a while he arrived at the building, some children were still chasing him. Bheem softly shooed them away with a fond smile before he went through the decoratively carved wooden main door.
As usual Bheem was amazed by the size of the living room. Somehow the inside seemed bigger than the outside would suggest. The walls were painted in red and black. The drawings depicted animals, human figures, hunting and dancing. The floor was painted in various colors and patterns and a lot of comfortable looking mats were on the ground. The mukyha was leaning over some papers which were on a low desk. He looked up as Bheem entered.
“Namaskāram” the rather small and skinny man, at least in comparison to Bheem’s broad body, stood up and folded his hands in front of his chest to complete his greeting.
“Namaskāram” Bheem did the same.
“It is such a pleasure to have you back, Bheem. The whole village missed you truly. We were a bit sad that you couldn’t join the feast. However your rest is more important to us. I don’t even know how we can thank you for what you did for us.” The mukhya smiled gratefully at the protector and bowed to him.
“I am glad that I am back. You don’t have to thank me, it was my duty to bring Malli home again.” Bheem slightly pushed the shoulder of the smaller man up again, so he had to break his bow.
“I have been away for a long time. Please update me about all circumstances, so I can go back to my vocation.”
“Do you really want to go back to work immediately? I consider you to take some days off and get some more rest.” The opponent of the protector looked at him worried. It annoyed Bheem that his weariness was so obvious. Bheem looked him straight in the eyes with a determined look.
“You will never change, won’t you?” The leader of the village sighed and motioned his guest to sit down.
The conversation lasted more than an hour. In his absence, the villagers grieved over five fatalities, two caused by illness and three because of old age. Also three babies were born and it was one of the Gond protector duties to congratulate the parents and to take the oath to the child.
Bheem rubbed his tired eyes in realisation that it was going to be a long day.
—--
The day went by, Bheem visited all the newborns and also expressed his regrets to the bereaved. For dinner he went to the communal kitchen and took the time to talk to some of the residents. His friends Jangu, Lacchu and Peddanna were also there, happy to see him again.
It was already dark outside when he arrived at his hut again. Inside, he took a deep breath and let himself fall on the bed. For a moment he just laid there and enjoyed the silence or rather the sound of nocturnal animals. A silver moonray fought its way through the canopy of the forest. Bheem looked out of a window and saw the silhouette of a nightjar sitting in the tree against the light of the full moon. The bird was singing its beautiful song. The rustle of leaves interrupted the concert and within a split second a rusty spotted cat grabbed the bird and disappeared into the night.
“Eat or be eaten.” The thought came across Bheem’s mind and reminded him of the cruelty of nature. This applied not only to animals, but also to mankind.
Before he left his tribe, the image of humanity was not that bad. Of course there were some black sheeps, misled by the gods. Nonetheless, the time in Delhi showed him how cruel a single human could be.
Hoping it would wipe away the bad thoughts, he rubbed his hands over his face.
“I should write the Letter now before I fall asleep.” Bheem knew that there was no time to put it off as the next day a messenger would travel to the nearest town. This happens every two weeks to maintain contact with the city and to procure goods that they could not produce or grow themselves. Also the messenger would deliver the letter at the post office there.
The tired man stood up, walked to the desk and put on the candle which was already standing there. Gently he put the precious book “Romeo and Juliet” aside and took out the writing equipment and paper.
He stared at the blank paper, unsure what he should write. Should he admit that he already misses Ram? It has been only three days without him and yet it feels way longer.
After thinking for a while he decided to keep it simple.
“Dear Ram. No. I can not use his name.” Bheem shook his head, crumpled up the page and threw the ball over his shoulder.
“They are still looking for us and maybe they are also tracking letters.” He thought while chewing on the very end of the pen.
“Oh I know!” He took a new sheet of paper and began to write.
Dearest Anna,
finally we are safe at home again.
The last part of the journey seemed more tiring than our joint fight.
It took us one and a half days to get back to the village.
On the way we rented a mule to help us to transport the goods. Sadly at night, it got eaten by a tiger, so we had to pull the wagon by ourselves AND carry our akka on our backs or shoulders. The poor child was even too exhausted to walk on her own.
Now she is happy back with her mother.
The whole village was so overwhelmed by our return that they gave us a party.
And guess what?!
I overslept! Can you believe it? Me, oversleeping a feast?!
However, life turns normal very fast again.
For me, just one day passed here and it seemed like nothing changed.
Everybody had carried on with their everyday life.
Well, not Loki akka. People told me that she barely cooked or was doing her other village duties because she was too worried and sometimes depressed.
Since she is with her daughter again, she almost changed back into her old self.
Today I talked to the mukyha too catch up with all past events.
Some new souls were born and others were taken.
He also talked with me about the circumstances with the nizam.
We have to talk about it, when we meet again.
I hope it will be soon.
Meanwhile, I will study your book and try to find new friends who will help us with our common task.
—--
Take care,
Your Tam'muḍu
As he was satisfied, he put the letter into an envelope and carefully put it down.
The first thing in the morning would be giving the letter to the messenger.
For now the day came to an end. He blew out the candle and went to bed.

INDIAN CLOTHING TRENDS IN VARIOUS SEASONS
One India.
1.4 billion people.
Four (4) seasonal weather patterns.
Two main (2) fashion seasons - summer and festive!
India is a land of festivities with the people always styling for the various festivals year-round. And while summer is the most notable fashion season, spring, autumn, and winter still manage to have dresses and collections unique for each of them.
We recently discussed festival clothing trends in India. This post, however, purely explores the different Indian clothing trends in various seasons. How does the Indian woman style herself across these different seasons? Let’s find out!
INDIAN SUMMER CLOTHING TRENDS
In the heat of summer, our choice of fashion is mostly about cooling off and ensuring you’re comfortable. This is also true for Indian women. If you’re a fan of ethnic Indian fashion, there are always enough dresses to take you through summer from sarees to lehengas, choli, gharara, salwar suit, etc. But you’re probably here for the defining trends of an Indian woman’s summer fashion and below we highlight the hottest ones currently;
Summer Wear for Indian Women
Summer Wear for Indian Women
Minimal and clean
You want your arms and legs to be able to breathe just fine in the hot and humid Indian summer weather. Your best bet is minimal and clean styles because less is always better in summer.
Prints and embroideries
This summer, we expect intricate prints and embroideries to be the rage as women yearn for a more laidback and luxe fashion style. Expect more intricately embellished and embroidered shirts and dresses with subtle prints and more pinks and mauves.
Floral prints and summer
You know that summer is always the season for cheery flowers and breezy fabrics. It’s true for Indian women too. Floral prints are a staple of summer and they are common in the typical Indian woman’s summer wardrobe.
Pastels, and white too!
In the heat of summer, you always prefer something soothing. This is why white and pastel shades are always a big deal for summer. You can invest in dresses in more pastel shades for summer, from white georgette fabric dresses to Indian crepe dresses in cream, pink, light green, and all of the other beautiful pastel shades.
INDIAN WINTER CLOTHING TRENDS
Winterwear is mostly about keeping you warm and protected when it gets cold outside. However, there are more than enough dresses, trends, and styles to ensure you are as fabulous as ever even in the cold of winter. Check out the Indian woman’s top trends below when it comes to Indian winter clothing trends for women;

Scarfs and shawls
Love your dupatta? Winter is the perfect season to take that love to the next level. Whether you are wearing a kurta, saree, or sweater, you can easily wrap a scarf around your neck and your outfit will still look as cute and stylish as you’d want!
Luxe fabrics
While summer is mostly for light fabrics, winter gives you the perfect opportunity to indulge in salwar suits, sarees, lehenga cholis, and other dresses made from lush fabric like silk, velvet, brocade, satin, and jacquard, among others.
Chilled out hues
Pastel shades and whites are all the rage during summer. For winter, you’ll want to do more dark and offbeat colors like wine, gray, and royal blue, among others.
INDIAN CLOTHING TRENDS FOR AUTUMN
Autumn is the transition season between summer and winter. And because sometimes, it’s never too cold or too hot, you get to try out some of the best pieces from both summer and winter. How does this turn out for the Indian woman?

Belted blouses

What factors to remember when buying Eid dresses?
Eid Mubarakh Shoppers! When you’re all set to celebrate this year’s Eid then fashionista women shouldn’t be asked to go out shopping! Rather they find it their holy duty to take a quick tour of the grand shopping malls displaying the trending Eid collection consisting of special ethnic kurtis for women, salwar kameez, or dresses designed with sheer taste and class.
Whether you’re off to shop the best Eid special Asian dress collection at any retail store or online, there are a few factors that must be followed to present yourself to be the most fashionable and gorgeous lady at the Eid party you are about to attend.
Here, check out the pointers below before you off to shop for this year’s Eid—
Ideal Eid Dresses
During Eid, the most pious occasion for the Muslim community, women prefer wearing a traditional dress particularly a Sharara suit dress or a Salwar Kameez suit for observing the religious ceremony. Fashion-conscious men and women prefer to choose a white dress for prayer which is specifically white and a colorful dress for the evening party or the Iftaar celebration. Buy ethnic long skirts online with a beautifully embroidered silk top and dupatta to complement your Iftaar evening wear. Whichever dress you collect, make sure it goes well with the occasion. Whether you live in your country or abroad, choosing an ideal Eid outfit will bring you closer to your people and your soil.
Shop according to your body shape & skin tone
When you are off to shop for Eid the shopping malls or the online fashion stores are not going to disappoint you with a limited fashionable dress collection. However, if you wish to flaunt your beauty and desire to be the showstopper of the party then choose the dress that will look lovely according to your body shape and of course your skin tone.
Gone are the days when people used to pick royal blue, bottle green, jazzy maroon, and red as their Iftaar wear. Choose the light peach or pink toned, aesthetically designed with embroidered sequins which will make your figure look amazing.
Consider trending fashion
Go through the fashion blogs or watch the latest Indian or Pakistani movies from where you can learn about the trending Asian dresses that you can wear this Eid. For the pious Ramadan prayers, buy an indigo kurta with a white palazzo and a white dupatta while attending the prayers at the mosques. The YouTube blogs shared by fashion icons can help you understand more about the shifting trends during the Holy Season.
 A reputed online fashion store
Picka renowned online store for shopping the best dresses in the UK, USA, Australia, or anywhere else where you’re located. They keep an uncompromising attitude for maintaining their product quality and can also ensure customers with designer clothes.
Top ecommerce stores give international buyers the option to purchase cotton bagru print suits online to heavy-worked embroidered kurtas, lehengas, and other ethnic wear for Eid and various other occasions.

Tumblr media
Effortless Everyday Style
It's hard to beat the comfort of an unstitched linen suit for casual outings and relaxed gatherings. Choosing a relaxed fit suit in a neutral shade such as beige, grey, or soft pastels will help you achieve that effortless everyday look. These colors not only display a relaxed vibe, but they make an excellent canvas for accessorizing. Linen suits can look effortless, yet put together, when paired with a plain white bottom. Roll up the sleeves and cuffs for a touch of casual charm.
Wear minimal jewelry, such as a delicate necklace or a few bracelets. Slip into comfortable sandals or sneakers to complete the look. The linen fabric has an understated elegance that will make you stand out without being overly flashy.
Making a Statement at Work
Unstitched linen suits can be worn casually or professionally. If you're wearing a suit to the office, choose a solid color with a dark shade, such as navy or charcoal gray. The breathable linen keeps you comfortable all day. Pair it with a kurta that's tailored in a contrasting color.
Team it up with formal footwears like loafers for a touch of sophistication. Avoid excessive accessories and opt for a classic watch to complete the look. This ensemble portrays confidence and style, making it perfect for meetings and presentations.
Formal Evenings in Linen
It's true, unstitched linen suits can even be worn at evening events. Choose a linen suit for women with vibrant color and subtle patterns in darker shades of yellow or deep red. It creates an elegant backdrop that can be enhanced by the right accessories. A well-tailored kameez with beautiful embellishments and embroidery or a silk border can elevate the suit's look.
Opt for a dressy golden or silver footwear, and try to wear a heeled footwear if it is comfortable. Taking a fashion-forward approach to partywear demonstrates your willingness to experiment and think outside the box.
Adapting to Changing Weather
Unstitched linen suits are unique in their ability to adapt to changing weather conditions. During the colder months, layering becomes your best friend. Keep warm while maintaining your fashion statement by wearing a lightweight knit sweater or a long shrug over your linen suit. The result is not only a more polished look, but also a more versatile outfit.
Conclusion
Embrace your personal style and creativity with unstitched linen suits. These suits easily adapt to any occasion, offering comfort and sophistication at the same time.
