Skipping the odd meal, forgetting to eat, day dictated by a busy schedule - they get it. Except they have noticed this developing into a bit of an ongoing habit, one that is unwelcome and they wouldn't like to encourage.

They've also taken note of the way your clothes hang a bit looser, your cheeks looking a little sunken, and the dullness in your eyes.

They'll have to take matters into their own hands.

Gun Park

Gun learns a lot of new things, a lot about himself with you.

He never used to care about other people, least of all their diet.

After all, why should he? Even when his duties include being Crystal's bodyguard, what she got up to is none of his concern as long as she was safe.

However, with you, that's a whole other story. Whenever you're feeling sad, down, out of sorts. Gun feels a prickle of unease, affecting him until he finds out how to make you smile again.

You have been dating Mark for a year. Over the past year, you have been spending a lot more time around the SM building, usually watching rehearsals or just in Mark’s studio as he works. 

It’s no secret that NCT, and especially Mark, are overworked. Czennies have been pointing that out for years, and the company has done nothing but add on to their busy schedules.

Since you started dating Mark, you have made it your mission to make sure he sleeps and eats enough, which is way harder than it sounds. Getting that man to take a break is borderline impossible. He would never take a break while they were still in the middle of working, and there was no gap in their schedule for the foreseeable future.

Which is what led you to your current situation.

Sitting in the small waiting area outside of the CEO’s office. Ready to give him a piece of your mind. But keeping yourself calm enough to rationally explain your concerns about your friends. 

Of course there was a part of you that was very nervous about this whole “confrontation”, but the other part knew that he couldn’t do anything to you. He had no control over you or your life so you were safe. And he wouldn’t punish Mark for anything you said because, frankly, he makes the company a shit-ton of money. 

So many thoughts were running through your head that you almost didn’t notice the secretary standing directly in front of you.

“You can go in now.”

“Thank you,” and you made your way into the office. And it all suddenly felt way more real. 

The CEO is sitting at his desk, an entire wall of windows behind him. He is sitting with his hands folded on top of his lap, overlooking his very large and quite empty office.

“Y/N. It’s nice to see you.” “You too, sir,” you said, sitting in a chair opposite him.

“So, to what do I owe the pleasure?”

You awkwardly clear your throat. Now, actually being here, you are very unsure how to start this conversation.

“They need a break,” you suddenly blurt out, shocking yourself as well as the CEO.

He leans forward, across the desk, making direct eye contact with you, that you are determined to hold. 

“What?”

“They need a break,” you said, more sure. More steady. “NCT. They haven’t had a break in so long. They are just doing comeback after comeback. Tour after tour. Promotions after promotions. While still doing rehearsals. And recordings. And other projects. And doing that for multiple sub -units? Or solo? It’s too much. They're all overworked and exhausted. Everyone can see it. I can. I know you can. The fans can. And they have told you as much. And you have consistently ignored that. The members would never tell you this but they need some time off. So if me coming here is what it takes for you to understand then well, here I am. They all really need a nap,” You let out a deep breath after your ranting, now noticing how loud you had gotten towards the end. “Sorry,” you said, regaining your composure.

“What for?”

“Yelling.”

The CEO settled back in his chair. Sighing deeply, staring at you. “I appreciate your honesty. And I will take your concerns into consideration.”

“Thank you for your time,” you said, getting up, giving a quick bow, and leaving.

What were the odds of him actually taking what you said into consideration? It honestly seemed unlikely. But at least you tried, right?

While you were in the building, you figured you could at least pop in to see Mark.

NCT 2023 rehearsals were in full swing, so walking into the rehearsal room, you were met with a chorus of “Y/N!” coming from every member. While you made your rounds, saying hello to everyone, Mark was just sitting in the corner watching with a fond smile. Watching you interact with his members always made him feel so happy. Knowing that all the most important people in his life were all friends was his favorite feeling in the world. (Well, maybe second favorite ;))

Your eyes finally met his and you sat beside him, hugging him tight, instinctively burying your face in his neck. 

“Hey, baby,” he said. You could feel him smiling from where his cheek was placed against the top of his head. “How’s my girl today? I didn’t know you were visiting.”

“I missed you,” you said, still buried into his shoulder. You didn’t tell him about the meeting, and you had no intention to. It just felt unnecessary to get his hopes up when they would probably be crushed anyways. 

You two stayed cuddled up against each other for the remainder of their short break from rehearsal. 

“Hey lovebirds, you’re cute and everything, but we need to practice now,” Johnny said.

“You know you’re jealous, dude,” Mark retorted. Johnny’s face twisted in a weird way that showed Mark was right.

“Whatever. Let's just go.”

“You’ll wait for me, baby?” “Of course.”

About an hour later, rehearsal was over and the members were packing up getting ready to leave. Mark was standing next to you, deciding what your plans for the evening would be, when the CEO walked in. 

“Oh! Hello, sir,” Taeyong said, bowing and getting everyone’s attention. And there was a chorus of “hello”s and bows.

“Hello, boys,” he said, making sure he had everyone’s attention. “I would like to talk to you all about something,” he was met with confused looks and some muttering. “It has come to my attention that you all haven’t had an adequate break in quite a while,” he purposefully avoided meeting your eyes. “So, after some consideration, you will all have 2 full months off after current promotions end. There will be no new comebacks, no new concerts, no other projects. You all deserve some time off after all the hard work you’ve put in for years now. And I’m sorry it took so long for me to give this to you.”

“Thank you so much, sir,” Taeyong said, prompting another round of bows from the members.

With that, the CEO left the room and the members started to talk excitedly about what they would do with their time off. Mostly talks of visiting family and finally getting the sleep they’ve missed out on.

Mark had stayed quiet, watching your face. He sat back down next to you.

“I’m assuming you had something to do with this?” he said, laughing at your shocked face. “Oh come on, I know my girl better than you give me credit for.”

“Fine. I did. And just so you know, you will be taking this time off. And I will be making sure that you are not working. Are we clear?”

“Yes, maam,” he said. After a bit of watching the other members joke around with each other, he leaned back in to whisper in your ear, “I have an idea or two of something we can do with the time off,” he wiggled his eyebrows for emphasis.

“I might be open to your ideas. But first, you will be taking a nap. A very long nap.”

The pure love and adoration for you was clear on his face. “Thank you.” “For what?” “For caring. For fighting. For loving me.”

“Gross. You sap.” “I love you, my pretty girl.”

so i've never been into any of the hair and nails stuff (got my nails done professionally once in middle school, got sick of em after a week and ripped em all off) so i don't know how correct the lingo is, i kinda just went based off what i know from my sister, so i hope you enjoy :D

Yandere!Zhongli, if you think this man has the mora to pay for anything you’re funny. There is an upside to this though, while he can’t pay to have you get your nails and hair done, or your lashes or for whatever else you wanna get, he can learn to do it for you. Hair and lashes take him a while as they can be more finicky but nails he picks up instantly. Not only is it cheaper but you can describe to him exactly what you want and he’ll be able to do it because he understands you and knows what you mean when you describe things. Plus you don’t have to worry about looking good when you get them done, you can just hang around in your pajamas until everything is finished.

Zhongli listened as you described the design you wanted on your nails, sorting through the assortment of polishes he had collected over his time with you. He’d do anything to please you, and while he couldn’t pay for the things you loved, he could certainly learn to do it for you. He understood wanting to maintain a certain image to the public but he’ll always insist that you look your best when you’re just you. When your hair hasn’t been done in a while, no fake lashes, and when your nails are just painted, no extra things on it. He doesn’t mind appearances, finding that he’s lived too long to base his relationship off something as simple as that, but he does appreciate both sides of you. While he’ll gladly chat about things while he does your nails or gossip while he does your hair, he’ll occasionally remind you that regardless of how you look, he’s always going to love you.

Yandere!Ayato is on top of it, like he schedules and pays for everything. He hires only the best and has them come to you, so that you can get the proper treatment you deserve in the comfort of the Kamisato Estate. You have personal stylists who do your nails, your hair, lashes, wardrobe updates, anything you want and they can do it. They also have some of the hottest gossip about the happenings in Inazuma, giving a proper salon treatment everytime they’re around.

You weren’t sure how Ayato made time to always schedule your appointments and such, keeping more on top of them than you did some days, but you weren’t about to complain about it. Your nail tech and hair stylist were amazing at their jobs, catering to your every whim and doing a phenomenal job at that, like they were born for this kind of work. The stories they brought with them were always just as great, the latest happenings around the city and the nation as a whole, who was doing what now and such on and so forth. Ayato would come to check in on you occasionally throughout your appointment, checking that everything was going well. And of course, when it’s done he expects you to come to his office and show off. He doesn’t care if you interrupt anything, to him you’re his top priority always. Plus he loves to see his darling all dolled up, feeling like the prettiest person in all of Inazuma. In his opinion, you always are, dolled up or not.

Yandere!Pantalone appreciates your intense take on your looks as appearances are a huge thing in his line of work, both on the business aspect and the intimidation aspect. He wants people to see that his accumulated wealth doesn’t go to waste, that he didn’t work for nothing. No, he uses his mass amount of mora to spoil his beloved, someone he has no problem writing checks or opening his wallet for. Anyone else can mind their own, his money is yours. The only downside to this is that he’s a horribly busy man, he’ll find whatever stylists you want and find some way to bring them to the Palace so you can have your appointments in the security of the Harbingers, but it’s up to you to schedule the appointments and keep track of when you’ll need to see them again. Just make sure you tell him when they are when you go to flaunt your new hairstyle and nail’s to him.

Pantalone’s soft smile spread just a bit farther across his face as you came bounding into his office, a bright smile of your own. You had just gotten your hair done and nails touched up and he could tell you were back to feeling like yourself again. While he appreciated all your looks and sides, he loved seeing you smiling and happy, and if that meant spending all this money for you to get pampered, he didn’t mind. He didn’t understand a lot of the words you used as you described what they did to your hair and nails, but he happily listened anyway, his delicate smile never faltering as you retold the whole chain of events. Even if his smile was often for show, when you were around it was never more genuine. He holds your hands in his larger, gloved ones as he looks over your nails, his fingers lightly tracing over the designs with an amused glimmer in his eyes. You were certainly something, and he intended to keep that bright light of yours shining.

And then Luis came up, Luis was very flirty; specifically with you, he insisted in staying near you, he gave you all sorts of names even though he knew your name, he liked to tease you, and do all that.

You took off his jacket and shirt and got Leon to flips him over so you could look at his wound, all Luis could do is groan in pain as he felt you stitch him up before he could lose anymore blood.

After wrapping him in bandages as well for his other wounds you and Leon decided it’d be best if you guys took a little rest and stayed where you were for a while before rescuing Ashley once again.

Leon had taken the time to go get more ammo and meet up with a merchant that always ended up meeting you guys in random places. Meanwhile you stayed with Luis while he was passed out. Just so you could keep him safe and take care of him.

Finally Luis had woken up and looked better than before. “Eh what happened?” Luis asked rubbing his eyes, he was still laid on his stomach because he had fainted like that. And Leon left before you could ask him to flip him back over, still it was best so his wound wouldn’t get irritated.

So you had just placed his shirt over his back and his jacket to his side. “Well after you got hurt, Leon dragged you over here and I stitched you up” you explained as he began to sit up, his shirt falling back onto the bed he was on, and he sat there shirtless, he grabbed the shirt and examined the blood and rip in it.

“Are you okay? You did lose a lot of blood” you asked, he nodded still looking at his shirt. “If you wanted to see me shirtless you could’ve just asked” he told you jokingly, smiling at you, “yeah sure, I definitely wanted to see you shirtless” you said sarcastically, “let me check your back” you said and he turned around for you to check.

It seemed to be looking better and the cut wasn’t oozing blood anymore which was good, “looks better” you told him, both your hand had been planted on his shoulder and back, “I’m getting the feeling you just wanted to feel me hermosa” he joked again, and you giggled.

“Whatever you want to believe Luis” you told him, and let go, he turned back around facing you again, he grabbed your hand, seeing this as the perfect chance to confess his feelings.

“Y/n, you are a very beautiful women, and your also very smart, and caring. I know I’ve been joking about many things today, but I do really want to take you out, after all this is over how would you like to go to dinner?”

“How many girls have you said that to?” You asked, “only one” he replied, you smiled at his sincerity, you held his hand “then I’d love to have dinner with you” you told him, he smiled at your response and really wanted to kiss you.

He would’ve, immediately but he couldn’t tell if that’s what you wanted, and he’s a gentleman, he would never force a kiss on anyone. “Puedo-”

“Mhm” you didn’t give him the chance to finish, he tilted his head and the two of you leaned into kiss each other, you could feel his smile against you lips, his hands were placed on your hips and your hands were placed on his shoulders

You pulled away, getting a look at Luis, seeing his face tinted red.

You stood there looking at him for a minute in silence before you heard the door to the room being moved around to get in. You moved away from Luis quickly, and Leon came in, he saw Luis up putting his shirt on “you good?” Leon asked him “I just got up but I think I’m alright” he replied, “good, now let’s go get Ashley”

Before you followed Leon out the door, Luis was putting on his jacket and gave you a wink before you walked out with your partner.

I'm good, thanks! Hope you're doing well too! Lmao this is the first time I've seen this prank but it looks like fun! I definitely think most of them would punch first and ask questions later but this is what I've got for everyone!

Takemichi- He is so confused, nervously calls out your name??? Internally panics that this somehow has something to do with time leaping or the other stuff he doesn't understand. He grabs your hand and shakes it like he does with Naoto, thinking this might make it stop? Now you're the confused one. 

Mikey- Quickly swallows the rest of the taiyaki he was eating and jumps into action! But he can't see an enemy??? Figures it could be an impulse type thing and hugs you instead, trying to make you calm down. 

Draken- Shouts "WHERE!? WHERE!?" He has no idea how to fight something he can't see so he just picks you up instead and holds you up in the air, figuring whatever it is can't reach you.

Naoto- Thinks it's a ghost, he's read about this in his occult books. Luckily he has some salt on him, throws it in the direction you're being attacked.

Baji- Doesn't even question it just starts swinging at the air, he even attacks the air for a solid 5 minutes after you've stopped. He just got too into the "fight" to notice it's "over".

Chifuyu- Frowns and whips his head around, looking for the attacker. After he doesn't see anyone, he shrugs and starts punching in the direction you're trying to fight in. Of course he'll protect you! ....even if he can't see the threat.

Mitsuya- Get's in between you and the "enemy" and sternly looks at the air, telling it "that's enough". You're too bewildered at how he told off the imaginary friend to continue. 

Hakkai- Tries to get in between you and the imaginary friend so he can take the hits instead. Swears he actually felt a punch, even after you tell him he wasn't real. 

Pah- Rubs his eyes a lot, thinking he has a problem. Still charges in to try and save you, tells you to step back so he can take care of it.

Peh- Yells a lot and throws all kinds of insults at the imaginary friend while trying to stop them. 

Smiley- "you wanna die!?" He jumps into the fight real quick, he's been wanting an excuse all day. Unfortunately he thinks the closest guy to you is the one who did it, so he ends up chasing after a random guy. 

Angry- "are you ok?" He's so concerned, hates the idea of anyone hurting you. He grabs your hand and runs, trying to get you both away from whatever that was.

Mucho- Raises an eyebrow at you and pulls you away from the direction of the "fight". Instead holding you in his arms to keep you safe.

Sanzu- Grabs his katana and starts slashing at the air while laughing, you have no idea where he got that katana from.

Kazutora- "Huh!?" He gets mad at the imaginary friend and quickly fights back against it, throwing a mixture of punches and kicks. He's so mad that anyone would dare to hurt his lover. 

Hanma- Matches your energy, goes "bang bang" with an imaginary gun before throwing an imaginary grenade at them. Once it's over, he happily walks away with you and says the two of you should do that again next week.

Kisaki- "what the hell are you doing?" He doesn't understand at all, there's clearly nothing there. Grabs your hand and speed walks away, occasionally looking back and adjusting his glasses.

Koko- Hisses a "what the fuck" before kicking in that direction a few times. Buys you cake after because he feels guilty that you got "attacked" on his watch.

Inui- Blinks before ruthlessly punching at the air, he isn't sure what's going on but he isn't going to let anything happen to you.

Taiju- Laughs manically and charges at the imaginary friend. Unfortunately since he doesn't feel anything he just keeps running, assuming it's running away from him. You have to run after him to get him back.

Izana- "who the hell is trying to hurt what's mine?" Wants you to point out the guy out but when you don't he starts attacking in the general direction you're fighting in. Doesn't seem to totally understand it wasn't real after, since he demands to see your wounds so he can treat them. 

Kakucho- Eyes flicker around wildly while trying to find the threat. He's so worried about you, of course he throws a bunch of punches but when he doesn't hit anything he worries that the other guy is "dodging him". He's a little disappointed to find out it was only a prank after. He's glad you're ok but kinda wanted to show off his skills to you. 

Ran- Gets out his baton and whacks the imaginary friend a bunch of times, then grins and declares that it's dead. Insists you come back to his house after so he can keep you "safe".

Rindou- Panics a little since he can't see anyone. Tries to tackle the air and hits the ground pretty hard. Still asks "did I get it!?" Is more concerned about you then his fall. 

Mochi- Angrily yells and starts swinging, yells out to ask if you're ok the whole time while he's doing this.

Shion- "who is it!???" Threatens the air before punching at it, probably somehow manages to punch a lamppost instead then insists you kiss his bruised knuckles better.

South- Happily starts throwing punches for you. When it doesn't seem to work (he can't feel anything) he picks you up and runs away while carrying you. (He plans on coming back later to finish the job after you're safe).

Wakasa- He's pretty confused about this, takes a second to think before shrugging and throwing a kick. Wants you to say thank you after since he "saved you".

Benkei- Yells and swats at the imaginary friend, tries to make them go away. If that fails then he gets more serious with it and attacks the air more ferociously.

Shinichiro- Calls out to you in concern, he's not sure what to do exactly. Tries to bargain with the imaginary friend, "take me instead!" When that doesn't work he tells you to run while he holds them off.

why i think richard cameron is Like That

the long awaited cam analysis post of sorts!!!

so to start off, let me acknowledge the obvious: CAMERON SUCKED FOR WHAT HE DID TO HIS FRIENDS. THAT WAS MEAN AND SHITTY OF HIM, HE DESERVED TO GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE AND HE DESERVED TO HAVE HIS FRIENDS STOP LIKING HIM. this post is just to paint a more nuanced picture of the motivations and reasoning behind his cam-ness. also i feel the need to address that my love for dylan kussman HEAVILY influences my opinion on cameron, so please keep that in find when u read this. if my bias shows at any point then feel free to offer your perspective, odds are i'll find a way to agree :3

lets start at the very beginning of the movie, his first appearance with the tradition banner. this obviously wasn't anything i rly thought of in depth on my first watch, but on my second watch i was like oh Hm.

tradition, of course, is a BIG aspect of welton that the movie repeatedly emphasises, drawing lots of attention to how nothing changes. i find cam holding the tradition banner especially interesting in relativity to neil holding the excellence banner specifically. cam very clearly tries his best to embody the rules of welton (more on this later) and very rarely deviates from those rules, although he does on occasion (again - more on this later.) but despite his attempts to be the manifestation of those values are never met with any praise, unlike neil. that's not to say that neil isn't deserving of that praise though, absolutely he is deserving, but in terms of academics specifically, cam's pretty up there too! this part doesnt exactly tie in directly with the rest of the post, but just thought id point it out first to add a layer to the rest of my thoughts.

how i view cam's character arc is something that's framed in a way thats not supposed to be viewed as an arc, i suppose (interesting considering the tradition thing hm). of course thats inaccurate as he does in fact have in arc, it just small in relation to the more forefront-ed poets. and it makes him ultimately less likeable, so.

during a majority of the movie (pre neil death) cam is known as the guy who doesnt like to break rules, that much is obvious, but in the end he still does with the dead poets society. now the reasoning behind that isnt actually touched on in a direct way, so there are a few different ways you can view that. i'll touch on a few different reasonings that me, @pencileraser1, and @good--merits-accumulated came up with.

my reasoning - i see cam's willingness to break the rules as cam holding his friends' idea of him on a high pedestal, constantly taking into consideration what they think. not wanting his friends to consider him a loser or boring in any way, he joins despite the anxiety surrounding being caught. not without fuss though, he does still outwardly talk about how this isnt something they should be doing. all this and yet he does in fact join, AND he doesnt rat anyone out for a majority of the movie (even after the call from god dealio!!!) fomo, basically.

nick's reasoning (found in this post) - he just wanted his friends to be safe!!! joining to (in my view) keep them in line in terms of safety as well as. i guess. provide the reminder of the consequences i suppose?? nick im opening up the floor to u if u wanna delve into this point more cuz ur definitely able to provide better reasoning n such. if asking nick to talk abt things was a full time job.

tristan's reasoning (discussed in dms) - cam's need for authority. tristan brought up a very good headcanon/ theory/ something or other that cam is the type to need constant direction or authority, and i totally agree! (reason for that will - again - come up later.) now this culminates in a couple different ways. 1) most obviously, adhereing (ehh) to the rules of welton, and 2) his relationship with the rest of the poets. due to the size of the welton student body, a lack of individual direction from teachers and staff is almost inevitable. so to fill that gap, he adheres to his friends' """"""rules"""""", and joins the poets. floor is open to you as well if you'd like to elaborate further, tristan :3

my thoughts of cam being super focused on his friends' idea of him actually started as a bit. i believe i made a hc post about smoking weed?? maybe?? and said something along the lines of "cam would smoke even if he doesnt want to, not cuz of peer pressure from his friends but more of a self imposed peer pressure. thinking its rude/ cringe/ uncool to turn down smthn like this bc all the rest of the guys r doing it." but after a rewatch of the scene in dps where theyre all walking outside, it started having some merit in my mind! in that scene, keating does a sort of imitation of cameron when he first starts to walk, something like "am i doing this right?", "am i walking weird?", etc. (paraphrasing ofc.) so i sort of took that aspect and applied it to other parts of his character and found out that oh, this actually kinda makes sense!

speaking of keating and his lessons, lets talk carpe diem.

now my interpretation of cam is that he doesn't exactly *want* to apply carpe diem in his life, seeing it as an antithesis of the welton values. only joining the poets for the reasons mentioned above. however, he does indeed apply it in my eyes, but more as a fucked up reversal and dickish version which eventually ends up in him deservedly getting punched. now is this how keating intended him to interpret carpe diem? ehhhhhhhhhhhhh,, it's complicated, let's talk about the context a bit.

this part is more theorising than anything, so take it with a few grains of salt if u wish.

cam quite obviously is a pretty big stickler for the rules, which i believe is a result of outside influence. id like to thank @lovech1ld for reminding me of this! cam's parents/ grandparents/ guardians are noticably older than the other poets, which, in my eyes, makes a heavy emphasis on following the rules make a lot more sense (respect your elders type shit.) so this, combined with the inherent fear of authority that most of the boys seem to have, makes him a chronic rule follower. but it goes further than that, after these ideas have been pushed for so long, i feel that cameron's started to mix up his own personal morals and values with the morals and values of welton, viewing those two things as one in the same. here's where that starts to muddy things up in terms of carpe diem.

i interpret cam's finking AS his application of carpe diem in his life, but as more of a subconscious choice. now you may be thinking "hey. mona. what?" and i UNDERSTAND! but here's my reasoning behind that. as i mentioned/ theorised before, cam has a very high opinion of his friends' idea of him, but this does eventually change after neil's passing. his subconscious carpe diem application, to put it into proper words, was a way to stick up for himself and his beliefs despite what all his friends think. again, being brought about by neils death, since he didn't choose to rat anyone out when the opportunity first presented itself during the call from god assembly. and i dont think cam sticking up for himself is inherently a bad thing!! but! since cam's idea of his morals are so clouded by welton's, this isn't actually sticking up for himself, this is just being a tattletale.

he did provide other reasoning for doing so to the poets of course, so lets talk a bit about that too. he says something along the lines of "i did it for neil" and "this is what he wouldve wanted" which is obviously bullshit, objectively. but i don't think he saw it that way, i think he genuinely believed thats what he thought neil would've wanted, as stupid of him as that was. obviously thats not what he wouldve wanted AT ALL, and why he actually thought that is FAR beyond me. but i really dont think he wouldve turned anyone in if he didnt genuinely believe it, especially considering the fact that he was PART of the dead poets. even if he was the one to confess, im sure he likely got punished as well. (which also couldve been what he wanted? tristan this is an opening to also discuss catholic cam on here bc ur reasonings for that were INCREDIBLE.)

on top of this, i really dont think that cam actually understood the weight of what turning in everyone would do. now i will say right away, hes not dumb, he knew that keating would be fired and charlie would be expelled, and that alone should've turned him away if he really wanted to honor neil. as i said before we started, he absolutely deserved to be punched and lose his friends, that was a dick move that ended up ruining two lives for a long long time, if not forever.

but.

due to him grieving, his rules = morals shtick, and fear of authority, i think he turned in the poets without giving actual, proper thought into what the consequences of that would be. which manifests itself both in the film with the final scene.

in the last scene where all of the boys stand on the desk, we see multiple shots of cam looking around and looking at everyone standing. and we (or at least i) can definitely see some sort of consideration to join them!!! he of course doesnt, and ends up choosing to sit, looking QUITE ashamed. this too can he interpreted a couple ways, either as him being embarrassed that his peers are doing this, or as him wanting to join them but knowing that he was the reason keating was fired. knowing that it would be incredibly disingenuous, even if he stood as a way to sort of apologise to keating + the poets for what he did and show that he regrets his actions, he stayed seated. and was so. so. mad at himself for it.

now i don't remember where i heard this so im not sure how to go about fact checking, but i believe the choice to keep cam seated was ultimately dylan kussman's?????? but dont take my word as gospel in terms of that, i very well could be wrong.

BUT! this gives me an opportunity to talk abt how much i love dylan kussman!!!!! nick vocalised the thought before i was able to in one of his posts, but considering the fact that i agree wholeheartedly, i'll reiterate it. i see rsl and ethan hawke constantly be praised (deservedly!) for their understanding of the inner workings of their characters, especially reflected in the desk set scene. and while YES ABSOLUTELY, i think dylan needs this praise as well. dylan was the PERFECT casting choice for cameron and i will shout that from the rooftops until my voice goes hoarse. so so so many of his little mannerisms, facial expressions, ways of speaking, soooo many etceteras are just so. so. CAMERON! even the most comprehensive directorial choices cant top an actor's inherent understanding of a character and reflection of that in their performance. good god! i think my new dream in life is to ask dylan about how he came about properly embodying cameron and his process in doing so.

with my dylan fanfare over, that about wraps up my thoughts on cam in terms of the film itself. HOWEVER. i have lots and lots of thoughts after a long convo with tristan about certain headcanons and post-canon theories and whatever. will probably touch on those but i dont really have my thoughts properly collected enough, so that wont be until later.

At first it was nothing special, just him meeting another person that are may or may not interested in his teachings, he doesn't give much importance at first but as the two of you start to pass more time together you little by little made your way to cover all his heart and mind, making him imposible to stop thinking about you or wanting to be with you

But how he won't be wanting to just bask into your presence if you are just perfect, a really special person, you aren't like anyone else, you aren't like all the other people who follow him, but he can't understand why or how, It maybe for how beautiful and cute you are? Or maybe is that you are an amazing person with and angelic smile? Is there even a reason why he shouldn't be in love with you? You are perfect in his eyes, heck you even make candies taste better

He doesn't really understand what happen to him neither, he know that happiness is something everyone had to find by their own, by themselfs, he know it he even had tell it to everyone who is willing to hear and yet he can't help but find an inmense happiness when he is with you, one he had never felt, whenever he is with you he feels ecstatic and with so much love that he feels like is going to explode, but when you aren't there he feels kinda empty, even the candies taste bitter

Still, it doesn't take him long to notice his feelings for you, he knows himself pretty well to know when he is in love, still he wonder if he is supposed to felt with such intensity, if is right to feel this overwhelming need to always be by your side and have you all to himself? but who will care if it isn't normal, he doesn't, so why he should be worry?

He won't dare to say that is destiny what put you in his way because he doesn't believe in such thing, but whatever is the reason why you end up in his life he is grateful for it, and once you enter in his life he isn't planing on letting you go, never

But, why would you want to leave anyway? the sistem the society holds is horrible and if you started to follow him were because you wanted freedom and happiness and he is willing to give it to you, you just have to accept to be his

Buddha isn't cruel nor sadistic (or at least not against you), you can trust him, just put your life in his hands and you will see how he will care for you and give you all you need the rest of your life, you don't need anything or anyone else, not humans nor gods, he is the only thing you need

Even if you are hesitant to accept him, it won't matter to much because he isn't going to let you run away, he will follow you until the end of the world if is need it because he doesn't need anything else, besides going as far won't be necessary he is smart and stronge enough to keep you by his side, he won't dare to hurt his precious darling intentionally but if he has to use strength in order to keep you safe by his side he won't doubt on doing it

Violence isn't his first course of action, or at least not against you, he is smart enough to use other tricks, but he doesn't like to call it manipulation is more like he knows better what's best for you. Although, he doesn't care much about others so nothing stop him to get violent if something, or someone, get in his way between him and his beloved darling, then again he doesn't react with violence at first, just because he likes to play around and mess with his victim, just like a predator

He wants to spend the rest of his life with his darling, just living happy together, and he isn't exactly planning in kidnapting you since he will hate to have you trapped between four walls, he gives pretty much freedom to do whatever you want, you two can even go wherever you want as long and you stay together, don't try to go far from him or else he will get mad

Buddha can be so caring and gentle towards his darling, he even goes everywhere holding your hand lovingly, giving you soft kisses and holding you close comfortingly when you seem scare or anxious, but if after some time you still seem frighten and scare of him he will grow annoyed by it, when his patience runs out he will start treating you like a child who is doing a tantrum and will start to be more forceful

However, when you finally accept his love for you he could get so soft and affectionate, smothering you in love, he may seem like a young man in love, it could even easily be seen as an innocence and pure love for who see it from afar but you know is something you will never get away from, even if right now Buddha seem inoffensive he isn't an idiot, a misstep can easily bring his bad side

He isn't really jealous, he doesn't mind if you talk to other people or are interested in other things, he won't stop you from doing your hobbies and the things you love, the thing is that you will always have him either by your side or watching you pretty close, meddling in what you're doing, not letting you forget that you two are together, that you are his as much as he is yours and he won't let anyone or anything change that

i feel that this is a given with kinger, but he wants to make sure youre okay at all times; usually trailing behind you and keeping you in his sight... it can get annoying sometimes, i think, but he doesnt mean anything weird or controlling or what have you. the man has already lost so much, and he truly may not be able to come out at the other side if something were to happen to you.. you know?

tends to ramble a lot to you about random things, usually his interests and some of his experiences; however sometimes he does push for you to infodump on him in return, he sometimes feels bad that he talks more in the relationship and sometimes feels that you dont often get much time.. to speak...? you know?

basically tries to subtly push that youre allowed to talk his digital ears off for however long you want, you know?

if he wasnt likely naked under that robe and if he could take it off; he seems like to type to lay it out over a puddle so you can walk over it.... gives off very stereotypical gentleman energy, i think... likes holding doors for you, pulling your chair out for you and pushing it back in, giving you flowers, things like that

god no because the look he has in his eyes when hes looking at you and around you isnt like the usual lost or zoned out look he usually has. you keep him grounded just enough, and make him feel secure and safe

and i think thats nice

oftentimes asks to sleep with you or asks you to sleep with him; as long as it ends up with you guys sharing a room for the night. again, mostly so he can be assured that youre alive and well

when you guys do sleep, he puts himself between you and the door; as if to be a barrier of sorts should there be an intruder.. take that as you will

+ okay i don't know why but just from the looks of it, geto is a professional. no doubt - you wouldn't even have to tell him about the basics - this man just KNOWS everything about periods. so imagine how easygoing is it for the both of you when it comes to taking care of you. (giggling and kicking my feet as i write this)

+ no one, and i mean NO ONE is allowed to disturb you while you're doing unwell. they're gonna have to get through your boyfriend first. 

+ little scenario i thought of: it was the around the beginning of your relationship with him when he realizes that you started complaining about your abdominal pains. he's concerned of course, but he also knows that if he starts to panic, he wouldn't be able to handle what you were going through. soon realizes it's possibly that time of the month (i told you, he's a genius.) prince charming right here makes sure he guides you to the bathroom safe and sound, standing right in front of the door, just in case you call out for him. 

+ SUCH A SWEETHEART!!! this dude makes sure to ask if you were okay when he doesn't hear any sign of you from the outside. doesn't want to breach your privacy. reassurance if you ever need it too. he has also heard of cases where people have passed out while on their periods, so once again, no risking anything. he's quick to his feet, getting you whatever you asked him for. 

+ guides you to your bed if the pain is severe. there's just something about the way geto takes care of you - he doesn't want to pry too much by asking you tons of questions, but he also doesn't want to leave you be. 'do you need anything, dearest?' he questions. soon after he returns with a heating pad, painkillers, warm water (tea if you're up for it) and your favorite snacks. plants a kiss on your forehead (because you once claimed that his kisses always make you feel better, so he's had that habit ever since <3) EVEN offers to stay with you if you need it PLSPLSPLS-

+ if he's out and about and you need some supplies, never be afraid to ask him!!! he understands that periods are a monthly thing, and it is nothing to be embarrassed about. definitely knows your preferred menstrual products. if you think he's only going to return with what you requested, no chance. 'never wrong to spoil my angel,' he shrugs.

+ NO BECAUSE the first thing when i thought of gojo is him asking you 'what pussy size are you' IM SORRY OKAY 😭😭he loves you a lot though i promise you that. i would say gojo is a little underexperienced when it comes to periods. although he would do anything to keep himself informed, especially since he is confident he will spend the rest of his life with you <3 

+ unlike geto, gojo would panic. worried too. how are your uterus walls discharging? and it's blood too. oh god how is his s/o handling the pain... you'll be okay right? man it doesn't look like it but gojo overthinks till his brain reaches full capacity. so he asks. and he will continue asking until he makes sure he's prepared for your future menstrual cycles. 

+ i feel like this little fear of his developed from the time when you were unwell, and he was left in a spiral of guilt as he wasn't able to provide proper help. it happened when he was out on a mission too so in a state of panic, he had shoko/nobara/maki provide you with some help. one thing i can say though is that the exact moment he was done with whatever he was tasked to do, he had never rushed home as quickly until that very day. 

+ 'i don't want you to blame yourself gojo. i know you've not handled situations like these before, but it's nothing too serious,' you'd told him, before adding, 'god you look famished. take a breather, honey.' he was pretty stubborn that day too. 'serious or not, i don't want anything bad to happen to you. i wasn't even here to help.'

+ waves of guilt shone in his eyes. despite his confident, charming demeanor he presents to you everyday, in the end he's just another human being. people tend to forget that about him, and he manages to trust you enough to let his complete guard down. holding his hand, you stated, 'you have, satoru. and when you need it, i can always guide you through it.' 

+so ever since then, he has your dates marked in HIS calendar, makes sure your supplies are restocked up to date. your favorite snacks out of stock in a certain store? don't you ever worry about that - gojo has his ways. will definitely inquire more about periods with the girls i mentioned earlier. ensures you're not alone when he's outside. oh but when he's at home, he lays right next to you. loves it when he's able to place his hand on your stomach when you need it <3 keep in mind that his series of questions would continue too. all he wants is to be able to provide you with literally anything.

+ and despite all this, HE'S SO GOOD at handling your mood swings. it seriously does not bother him. i don't know what he's on either, but i can tell people come to him just to ask him about how he does it so easily. you're pretty surprised yourself. angry? no problem, he can find a way. crying? he's got your back. tired and in pain? a breeze, really. gojo stumbles quite a lot when it comes to learning something new, but give him some time and he's already up and running. what can i say? he is in love.

Time is a planner at heart. He gets so scarily quiet that the others have no choice but to just stand and listen when he does speak. And when he does it's a succint and well thought out plan that doesn't leave room for survivors. And when Reader is back in their arms? He's doubling patrols, circling the Reader when they travel, there is no window of opportunity for it to happen again.

Wars is another planner. But he's almost frantic about it. Like, in his Hyrule, he's always on a time limit. So in this, he's on an even bigger time limit to get Reader back. He's pressuring himself to make their time apart as small as possible. And when Reader is back, he's vigilant in watching over them. Constantly. They very rarely ever leave his sight (even when they think they do).

Sky probably panics at first, just a bit. But the panic doesn't last long before it's turning into a bloodthirsty rage. He did in fact kill a God. He has that anger within him. Now imagine what he would do to a few measly Yiga. And he's never letting go of Reader. He's holding them to his chest at every given opportunity, clinging to them.

Legend knows what he wants to do the second the news spreads to him. He's ready to leave and damn near does, if not for Twilight. But he's a silent, and deadly type of dangerous. They probably don't even see him coming before he's taking them out. He's a lot like Wars in the sense that he doesn't let them out of his sight afterwards. Ever. Marin left him once and he will not let Reader do the same.

Hyrule is the one who's panicking. Of course, he probably has some form of fairy magic that can track Reader down, he's probably more worried about them getting hurt or sick or dying. Are they cold? Are they hungry? He should've been there. If he had only been better this wouldn't have happened. He's constantly checking over the Reader the second they're back, making sure they never stray far and that he's always within arm's reach.

Four is planning as well. Only his are so...violent that even the rest of the chain have to be like '...Dude.' He's erratic and best and downright versatile. He can't settle, every color flipping through his head over and over, screaming at him to do this or do that. He's also the type to scold Reader, out of love of course, and demand they stick close to one of them at All times.

Twilight is trying to keep the chain together. They are falling apart at the seams and he's desperately trying to hold them together because he knows that it's his best chance at getting them back. But you better believe he is just as angry, just as vicious, just as blood thirsty as they are. Wolfie becomes a staple after the fact because wolfie can get away with tearing into someone's gullet right then and there. Twilight...Not so much.

Wind is Freaking Out. That's his nibling/parent/idk you pick! And they're just...gone? He's running around, demanding they jump into action, and yelling threats when they aren't moving fast enough for his liking. Much like Sky, he is all over Reader when they're returned. Him and Sky probably get into a fight fifbnf

Wild uses his Sheikah sensor. It can track things he takes pictures of, and you know that he has pictures of Reader. He's also ripping, ready to go, just barely remaining there-- only being pinned by Twilight's gaze on him. And when they're back? He's making them whatever comfort food they wish and is practically at their beck and call. whatever they need and he is all too happy to get it for them.

Cal is internally panicking. On the outside, he still has that flat, stone faced look, but he's ready to fucking cry. He misses Reader so much. And is wiling to do anything to get them back. And when they are? Congrats! You've just got a new, full time body guard! He's your new shadow. There anytime you need it. <3

Sage is gone. The second the news spreads, he's gone. He's leaving. He's on the hunt. Out of all of them, he's the most dangerous in that moment. You can't hurt him when he's like that. He has one train of thought and nothing is stopping him. He's not like the others in the sense that when Reader is back, he's not immediately all over them. He needs to cool down. However, late at night? He's crawling into Reader's bed mat and wrapping his arms around them, kissing their neck and promising that it would never happen again.

I'm not completely clear on the scenario you're presenting here, whether Obi-Wan is staying on Kamino with Jango the whole time and just never comes back from Kamino, or if he's taken Jango back to Coruscant and the Jedi Temple but has since gone back to Kamino to investigate it. I'm also not clear if you're asking whether the thing being stopped is just the battle on Geonosis or the whole war.

It's hard to know precisely what Jango does or does not know in canon since we spend so little time with him and he's not exactly honest or forthcoming in most of his scenes. He's aware that the person who hired him is named "Tyranus" and that this person is on Geonosis and that this is a place he can flee to if needed (or perhaps even a place he's been TOLD to flee to if he gets discovered). Things he COULD know but aren't confirmed would be Tyranus's identity as Count Dooku (though everyone on Geonosis calls him Dooku and Dooku doesn't seem like he's hiding it much so I'd be willing to bet that Jango has that information) and the existence of the chips and what their purpose is (his vague line about "they'll do their job well" seems to imply that he DOES, but since the chips didn't exist yet in canon when that line was written it's hard to use that as any kind of proof). He also is clearly aware of the connection between the person who hired him and the Separatists, which would be a pretty major piece of information given that it raises a LOT of questions about the clones and their origins. The one major thing Jango WOULDN'T be able to know is Palpatine's identity, this does not seem like information he would've ever been privy to and there is no evidence that he does.

So while he doesn't have ALL the pieces, he has enough to give the Jedi a bit of a headstart regarding the clones' potential to be a trap, especially if he has information about the chips and what's on them.

Of course the biggest question is whether Jango would be cooperative enough to hand them all of this information or not. Dooku is never going to leave him alive now that he's a loose end in the Republic's hands, and I find it hard to believe that Jango wouldn't be aware of that. Dooku is also never going to believe that Jango didn't give the Jedi any information, even if Jango keeps his mouth shut, and Jango could easily be aware of that, too. Which leaves Jango in a position where he either escapes on his own and just hopes he can keep himself off of Dooku's radar for the rest of his life, or he makes a deal with the Republic and hopes that the Republic and the Jedi will be able to keep him safe from Dooku in exchange for information.

At this point, the choice Jango makes is entirely dependent on your interpretation of his character. In canon, he chooses to jump into the arena to fight Mace without being ordered to by anybody and he never shows any attempt to flee with Boba once the Jedi show up, so to me this says that he isn't prioritizing self preservation and he seems fairly arrogant about his own abilities. So based on that, it seems like the option where he tries to escape on his own and just hopes he can stay off of Dooku's radar for the rest of his life is the most likely option. He might not succeed at escaping, but it also means he wouldn't make a deal with Obi-Wan/the Jedi/Republic for protection.

Whether Obi-Wan keeps Jango on Geonosis for this interrogation or brings him back to Coruscant, it would effectively stop the Battle of Geonosis from happening because his arrival on Geonosis is obviously the catalyst for that. However, this wouldn't necessarily stop the WAR from starting. Neither Dooku nor Palpatine were planning on Obi-Wan finding Kamino by following Jango after his attempted assassination of Padme and then getting to Geonosis by following Jango a second time. The war would presumably have been started some other way had Obi-Wan never gone to Geonosis, so Jango's capture on Kamino wouldn't change that, especially if he's uncooperative. But it MIGHT save those nearly 200 Jedi who died in that arena, at least temporarily.

The major change that might happen if Obi-Wan brought Jango back to Coruscant rather than attempting to interrogate him alone on Kamino would be the access that Palpatine would now have to Jango. I imagine that if Jango were brought to Coruscant, that Palpatine would EASILY be able to make an argument for why Jango should be turned over to Republic custody instead of Jedi custody and then Jango is probably just going to be immediately murdered in transit and all of that information goes away anyway.

If Obi-Wan stays on Kamino to interrogate Jango and continue to investigate Kamino and the clones, then the information Palpatine has is probably much more limited and depends on how much Obi-Wan passes along to the Council and how much the Council chooses to pass along to Palpatine. It's possible Palpatine could tell Dooku to get in contact with the Kaminoans (as per TCW we know that Lama Su and Nala Se are in direct contact with Dooku about the plan) and find a way for them to eliminate the loose end that Jango now represents, but that depends on Palpatine knowing Jango has been captured at all. The Jedi would have a little bit of extra time to try to get through to Jango and investigate what's happening on Kamino before the war starts if the Battle of Geonosis is avoided entirely. I can't say if that would be enough time to figure out anything of any real worth, but it's more of a headstart than they had in canon.

If we assume the best case scenario and say that Obi-Wan/the Jedi have a chance to interrogate Jango before Palpatine is able to interfere and Jango chooses to be cooperative for some reason, this opens up the fun option of how the Jedi react to the knowledge that the clones are a Separatist trap before they really get to know them. In canon, they DO investigate the clones' origins and discover that they are a Sith trap of some kind, but they've been fighting alongside the clones for about two years at the time and so they make the choice to trust that the clones will not turn against them because it's really the only option they have at this point until they get any more specific information about it.

In this AU though, they HAVEN'T been fighting alongside the clones at all, so while I'm sure they'd be horrified at the existence of the chips in general and fight to have them removed or nullified or something, it could make for a somewhat different dynamic between them when they end up still having to fight in a war together. It's probably a little harder to trust an entire army of people affiliated with both sides of a war and engineered to ultimately betray the Jedi. I've seen a crack version of this scenario but not one taken seriously and it's a fascinating AU concept.

“Wow…” you remark, fingers loosely threaded through Dabi’s inky spikes. “I’m actually surprised, y’know. I thought you’d have a lot more knots and tangles.”

From where his head is resting in your lap, Dabi tilts his face slightly more your way, half-lidded cobalt gaze meeting yours. He looks serene like this, all relaxed and pliable as he rests between your gently folded legs, but as the ghost of a smirk tugs up at one corner of his scarred lips, a spark of mischief wiggles its way in.

“Why?” he asks. Simple. Like he’s testing you.

Your soothing, stroking motions cease for a moment, staring down at him with a flicker of guilt. “I dunno,” you shrug, breaking eye contact for a second as you sarcastically roll your eyes. “Maybe because I’ve never seen you do anything to your hair besides embrace perpetual bedhead?”

At this, he puffs out a small breath of a laugh, lazily amused at your little quip.

“Yeah, and why would I…?” Reaching a big, slender fingered hand up to cup the smooth skin of your cheek, he concludes with, “When I have someone who’ll comb their fingers through it whenever I ask?”

The sincerity of the comment flusters you for a moment, but then you’re wearing that soft, sweet smile reserved only for him and melting further into his rough palm, eyes fluttering shut as you sigh against his familiar touch.

“I let you get away with too much,” you joke, continuing your rhythmic combing through his course dark hair, the first flurries of his natural snow white color just beginning to show at the roots. “Next thing I know, you’ll be asking me to dye it for you too.”

Dabi gives that some thought, then he says, voice dropping to a low, sated lull, “Y’know, that’s actually not a bad idea,” which earns him a teasing pull on his hair as you curl a loose fist through the strands and gently tug. “What?” He chuckles, beginning to reach further back to twine his fingers through your own hair, mimicking your tender ministrations the best he can from his current position. “Don’t like the idea of having your hands stained blue for weeks on end?”

If it was for you, you want to say, I wouldn’t mind at all. But what comes out instead is, “Better watch out or you might end up with neon blue in the end, if I feel like messing with you that day.”

“Oh, if you feel like messing with me, huh?” Dabi playfully mocks, winning another one of those melodic giggles from you, the kind he lives for. The kind that makes him forget, even if just for one fleeting moment in time, all the hardship he’s had to endure up until now. Will likely have to endure in the future to come. “You’d be in for one hell of a payback for that.”

You and him mutter some harmless banter back and forth for a little while longer until eventually a silence falls over you again. It’s the kind that almost had Dabi dozing off before you’d made the comment about his hair, the kind that keeps you mesmerized enough that you could absentmindedly comb through his spikes all afternoon.

“I wish things could stay like this forever…” you murmur under your breath, so quiet you’re not even sure Dabi heard you, the way his eyes are once again closed and his breathing is slow and shallow, no doubt on the precipice of unconsciousness.

But then he sighs out, without opening his eyes, “Me too…”

A couple seconds pass and then his head is reluctantly lifting from your lap, shifting his position to sit upright. You let out a small whine of protest but he’s quick to beckon you back into his arms, your back resting against his chest and feeling safe and comforted as his body heat seeps through the fabric of your clothes, cradling you in warmth.

“You know we gotta make that supply run today…” he reminds you, pulling you both back to the reality that is being a bunch of wanted criminals hiding out with not much to their names, having to sneak around the city and steal cheap food from convenience stores just to survive week to week, sometimes even day to day.

“Yeah, I know…” you mutter, not trying to hide your blatant not wanting to make that supply run today. You nuzzle your head closer into the crook of his neck and say, “Sphynx will have a meltdown if we’re not back before sundown…”

Dabi smirked to himself, then said, “Well we can ask Ragdoll to come along. She’s been complaining about being cooped up in here for too long…”

Now it was your turn to smile. Because it had been your idea to code name the other members of the League as different cat breeds. At first, Dabi scoffed at your little game, asked you why, so you’d just shrugged and answered, “Because it’s fun,” and then, after a moment’s hesitation and a devious expression forming on your face, you added, “And this way we can talk about people without them knowing, if they decide to listen in.”

And so the joke had stuck.

Tomura was, obviously, “Sphynx”, Toga was “Ragdoll”, after she’d caught wind of your guys’ inside joke and wanted to choose her own breed to be referred by. As for the others, Jin was “Persian”, Spinner was “Devon Rex”, Atsuhiro was “Russian Blue”, and Kurogiri was “Bombay”.

Just for fun, you’d assigned one to Dabi— “Calico”— and for you, you’d chosen “Siamese”.

There had even been a few times when Tomura had been nearby while you two had been talking about him, butting in to ask, “Who the hell’s Sphynx?” only for you and Dabi to exchange smug glances and then reply, “No one. Don’t worry about it,” and then try to contain your laughter until he walked away lest you blow your entire cover.

It was just some silly, harmless fun, but it helped make the dingy, mundane, day to day of slumping around the bar that was currently serving as the main HQ a little more bearable, so Dabi didn’t mind playing along.

“Guess we should get ready to head out…” Dabi looked down at you, now settled in his lap, and quirked up one dark brow, “Don’cha think?”

You hummed out a twinkling giggle, Dabi’s heart stuttering a beat at such a genuine, jovial sound. You said, “If we have to. But this time you’re gonna be on lookout while I grab the goods. Deal, Calico?”

He flashed a grin that was half challenging, half proud. “Deal, Siamese.”

He’d taught you almost everything you knew, since you’d been taken in by the League. He felt pride in knowing, for as sweet as you were with him when you two were alone, he’d also been the one to corrupt you, in one way or another.

Dewdrop knew you were dealing with a bad depressive episode. Sister Imperator has let you have time by yourself for once. Not ordering you around to help around the Abbey. He also knew the weather changing has triggered your seasonal depression. Which in turn, caused you to feel very unlike yourself these past few days.

Locked up in your dorm, the Ghoulettes bringing you food when needed. Making sure you were at least keeping yourself fed with enough water to drink. Otherwise everyone left you alone.

Until tonight when Dewdrop passed by your dorm and the faint sound of sobbing can be heard from underneath your door. He was uncertain at first of what to do, but in the end decided to knock to make his presence known before silently and slowly opening your door.

“Y/n? Do you need anything?” He asked quietly, closing the door behind him as he entered with slow movements, making his way towards your bed where you laid under the covers, sobs turned to hiccups and loud sniffles as you tried to calm down your crying.

“I’m here for you, I hope you know. Whatever you need, just ask.” He sat himself at the edge of your bed, waiting for you to calm yourself down as he reached out to where he made out your shoulder as you laid on your side, facing the wall, slowly rubbing his hand up and down in calm bing motions.

“Stay the night?” Came your shaky reply after a long few minutes of silence, and the occasional sniffling coming from you. “Please.”

In a flash, Dewdrop got up from the bed and ran around your room in search of your laptop you two would watch movies and tv shows on during both of your free time in the Abbey when there was an opportunity for.

He was usually talkative but he knew you weren’t in the mood for talking. But he knew a movie and a cuddle would cheer you up even slightly. So, grabbing your laptop from your desk, he went back to the bed where he quickly pulled the covers away from you, moving inhumanly fast as he easily lifted you up and laid down on the bed in your spot, you half on top of him, head on his chest, cuddled up to his side.

“Figured we could watch a movie, until we fall asleep. How does that sound, love?” He kissed the top of you hand as he set up your laptop where you both can easily see the screen perfectly.

Nodding into his chest and wrapping your arms under him to hold yourself impossibly closer to Dewdrop he pick a random movie you both frequently watch during the colder months, Hocus Pocus. Dewdrop resting his cheek on top of your head as the movie began to play.

The two of you happy and content with each other’s presence, safe in his arms. “I can get through this rut with you next to me. Stay until I wake up?” You asked quietly, fatigue evident in you hoarse voice.

“Of course. Anything for you.” He smiled, pushing your hair out of your face to kiss your forehead. And as the movie played on, the two of you drifted to sleep cuddled up to each other.

As the sun started rising again into the sky, you woke up in a panic. Bolting up in bed, struggling to breath. Dewdrop immediately woke up the second he smelled the overwhelming scent of your fear. Tears streamed down your face from the nightmare you had thanks to your current mental state.

Dew held your face in his hands gently, resting his forehead in yours. “It’s okay. It’s okay, i’m here.” He whispered over and over again as you slowly started being more aware of your surroundings. Moving to wrap your arms around his slim frame, clinging onto Dewdrop like your life depended on it.

“Breath with me.” He instructed softly, taking deep intakes of breaths and long exhales. You two did this several more times until you calmed down, only hiccuping here and there. “Let’s go back to sleep, yeah?” He gently pushed you back to lay down on the bed.

“You have to leave. I don’t want you to get in trouble.” You spoke softly, frowning.

“Doesn’t matter. What does though is you. I’m staying with you for as long as you’ll have me.” He kissed your forehead, bringing you in close to him once again.

“Okay.” You sighed, giving in easily at his touch, already feeling drowsy. And in each others arms, once again, the two of you fell asleep. Safe and protected.
