tessa’s endless ocs: meera + calista + alissa in “threads of fate”

Alissa was born into nothing, just as she was made from nothing. But she is only ten years old when Tissaia de Vries finds her on the border of Redania, with no memory of how she got there except she knew she was running. She was always running. From what, she did not know, but she knew that if it caught up with her, her life would be over. So Alissa follows the mage to Aretuza, and finds that no matter how far she escapes, her past always catches up with her.

Meera was born under a curse. The black sun loomed high over her mother the day of her birth, and she’d been paying for it ever since. Her only saving grace seemed to be nomadic Witchers who had taken her in, teaching her the tricks of the trade until she was just as deadly as any of them. A female witcher is unheard of, and Meera plans to keep it that way.

Calista was born into royalty. The second daughter of Queen Calanthe and the Dragon of Cintra, Calista was free to roam as she saw fit, following in her mother’s footsteps of becoming one of the greatest generals the Kingdom had ever seen. But when Nilfgaard attacks her home and she and her niece are separated by unforeseen circumstances, Calista refuses to play puppet monarch and turns to the only person she has left. how do ur witcher ocs react when they meet each other? do they get along right away or is there some conflicting personalities? if so do they eventually get along?

Okay so Alissa and Meera get along great, and they find themselves confiding in each other about their horrible childhoods as well as Meera making a promise to Alissa that she’ll help her get her memories back.

Calista is the outlier here. She’s always had a very strong personality and can be very judgmental and distrustful, especially about Mages and Witchers. Calista and Alissa never got along even when Alissa was at the castle and since Alissa left it’s only gotten worse. 

Meera often lets her pride and temper get the best of her, so that definitely causes some conflict, especially when she criticizes Calista for Calanthe’s failings and Cintra’s failings overall. 

They all do eventually get along and form their own little found family, but it takes a while for it to happen.
