Recovery

I'm alive!!!!

Life has been busy and I've had this tucked in my drafts for awhile. I hope to get back into writing, both Eliot fics and some original stuff if anyone is interested.

But in the meantime, I give you this!! Not a full fic, but a blurb that takes place just after Blood Stains .

The doors to the trauma room swing open, causing the three of us to jump. I open my eyes and look at the doctor, as he walks towards us.

"You're here for Detective Baker?"

"Yeah that's us."

"We stopped the bleeding. The bullet entered his left side, it nicked an artery but you got to him in time. If you hadn't slowed the bleeding when you did he wouldn't have made it."

"He's gonna be ok?" Hardison asks.

"In time, yes. He also has cracked ribs, we treated them, between that and the gun shot wound, he should be on his feet in a month or two. He's being moved to recovery as we speak. We had to give him a mild sedative."

Parker huffs out a laugh.

"He's not gonna like that," She mumbles.

"Can we see him?" I ask the doctor.

He looks at me, he takes a breath but hesitates.

"Family only, I'm afraid."

"We are family."

He doctor watches me a moment more before he nods.

"Alright. But one at a time. He's still under sedation, but I'm sure he'd appreciate a familiar face when he wakes up."

"Thank you."

I look at Parker and Hardison, ready to ask if one of them would like to go first, but Hardison speaks before I can.

"Go. We need to grab a change of clothes and talk to Nate and Sophie. We will be back later.

I nod, the turn to the doctor. He gestures for me to follow him, he leads me down a hall and through a few corridors, coming to a stop in front of a door.

"He's in here. You can press the call button if you need anything."

I nod to him, then watch him walk to the nurses station at the end of the hall. I take a deep breath then open the door.

Seeing him laying is surreal. He lays so still I would have thought he was dead if it weren't for his chest moving and the heart monitor on the wall making a soft beep with his heartbeat.

I sit in a chair next to the bed, I hold his hand in mine. It's lost most of the warmth it usually holds. Normally he's the one who hold my hand when something happens, but now that it's him, it feels like a dream. Like I'll wake up and he will be yelling at Hardison for something.

But it's not a dream. He lays there, almost looking small, chest rising and falling steadily, his hair his spread out on the pillow, the usual crease between his eye brows is smoothed out. A peaceful look replacing the near constant scowl he wears.

I bring his hand to my face to press a kiss to the back of his hand, threading my fingers between his.

"Please wake up soon," I whisper.

I lay his arm back down with out letting go of him. I lay my head down next to his hand, letting my eyes close again, the quiet beep from the monitor lulling me to sleep.

The sound of the door opening jerks me awake. I sit up and look at the door to find a nurse coming in. She looks at me and smiles, then walks to the monitor on the other side of the bed, she then checks the IV bags and tubing to Eliot's arm.

" Is he ok?" I ask her.

"At the moment, the sedative should were off soon. It's good your here. He's a lucky man to have you here for him."

I smile at her then turn to Eliot. I must have a look on my face because the nurse speaks again, a knowing tone in her voice.

"You're in love with him."

"What?" I snap to look at her.

"I can see it in the way you look at him. I've seen that look before in couples."

"We aren't a couple."

"Mmmm. Maybe you should fix that. You almost lost him today. It would be tragic if something happened again and he wasn't as lucky as he was this time."

I look at her. She right, but telling him now feels like the wrong time.

"It complicated. We are best friends and partners, if my feelings did something to jeopardize that, I don't think I could handle it."

She nods then heads to the door.

"Call me if you need anything, dear."

"I will."

I stand and pace the floor at the foot of the bed, worrying my lip and playing with the hem of my shirt. A quiet groan from the bed catches my attention.

Turning back to Eliot, finding a small frown drawing his eyebrows together. I walk back to the side of the bed, whispering his name as I take his hand in mine, pressing the back of it to my cheek.

He squeezes my hand, his grip not as strong as it usually is, it still causes a smile to spread across my face. His head rolls towards me, the crease between his brows to deepens, his eyes open just enough to show his pretty blue eyes off.

" Hi." I say to him, tears blurring my vision.

"Hi," he grumbles, then looks down to my chest. "That's my shirt."

I huff out a teary laugh.

"That's all you have to say after nearly dieing?"

"Nearly died before. Never seen you in my shirt before."

I shake my head at him, then move to hit the call button so the nurse can check on him now that he's awake, but he grips my hand tighter, stopping me. I look at him with a questioning look, but he just stares at me.

"What?"

"Was that true?"

"Who?"

"What the nurse said."

My heart drops.

"You heard that?"

"Yeah. Was just coming out of it."

I take a deep breath to calm my nerves.

"What does it matter if it was true?"

"It matters."

A silents settles over us. We sit there staring at each other as if we could read each other's minds.

He takes a breath to say something else when the door bursts open, Hardison and Parker falling in the door. I release his hand and move to stand at the end of the bed.

"Is he awake yet?" Hardison asks me.

"Yes, dumb ass, I'm awake, and you are too damn loud."

"Well good to know you're already back to normal."

Eliot huffs out a laugh, then holds his side, face scrunching in pain.

"I'm gonna get the nurse." I say as I walk out of the room. I hear Eliot say my name but I ignore it and continue to the nurses station.

I find the same nurse that checked on Eliot earlier and tell her that he's awake and seams to be in pain. She nods then heads to his room.

I don't follow her, I stand at the counter of the station trying to figure out what Eliot meant by his response. I decide to let it go. He's probably high on pain meds, and probably won't remember that conversation tomorrow, just act like every thing is normal.

A Herrmann/Halstead Production: Original Characters Cast

Hi! I thought it would be fun to put together a post with all of the people I would cast to play the original characters in my series, A Herrmann/Halstead Production.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

First of all, of course, is Bex! Rebecca "Bex" Herrmann is the main original character. She's the younger half sister of both Christopher Herrmann and Will and Jay Halstead.

Adelaide Kane is who I'd pick to play Bex. I think she looks like she could be related to both Herrmann and the Halsteads. (Bex and Will both got their brown eyes from their individual moms, but it ends up making them look more alike. Bex and Jay both got their freckles from Pat. Bex and Chris got their darker hair, nose shape, and smile from their mom.)

Anthony Hill as Devon Robertson, Tyler Hoechlin as Sam Kent, and Rafael Silva as Isaac Almeida. (Devon plays drums in the band, Sam is Julie Tay's current patrol partner, and Isaac is running the Mouse/Bex betting board with Shay. I have a fun storyline planned for these three guys and Shay and Tay. :D)

Sinqua Walls as Ben Vernon and Florence Pugh as Faith Callahan. (Ben acts as manager for the band and Faith plays bass.)

Madison Iseman as Emery Hughes and Bryce Durfee as Ty Anderson. (Yes, Ty is somewhat older than Emery and the group. She met him once they moved back to Chicago, not while they were at school.)

Next is Bex and her band's new rock band friends: Taggert!

Matthew Daddario as Beau Taggert. (He is the middle Taggert sibling. He's also the lead guitarist of the band and one of the lead singers.)

[I wanted someone who could pull off being broody, sexy rock star guy, but also be fun and charming and kind of goofy. I think Matthew Daddario fits that bill pretty nicely.]

Beau and Bex. (Might need to do an AU of this AU where they end up together, lol!)

Katie McGrath as Patti Taggert. (She is the oldest Taggert sibling and the other lead singer of the band. She also plays guitar. Patti is engaged to Pete.)

Shelley Hennig as Elle Taggert. (She is the youngest Taggert sibling and she plays drums in the band.)

Oliver Stark as Pete Nash. (He is Patti's fiancé and he plays bass in the band.)

Next up is the bad guys (thus far):

Michael Shannon as Vincent Marsconi, aka Vinnie, Finn Whitrock as Cal Anderson and Bill Skarsgård as Robert Forrest aka Ramsay. (But he has lighter hair as Ramsay.)

Last, but not least is Mouse's support group:

Richard Schiff as Chuck Weiss, Christian Kane as Ed Spencer, and Jason George as Frank Bailey.

Brianna Baker as Ada Jackson and AJ Cook as Lucy Graham.

Those are all of the major original characters. Might have one or two more crop up and I'll add them here when they appear.

Monster High Fanfics

been working on a lot of them lately and one is with them all grown up with children of thier own, I can post an updated OC list if you want to see which ones I gave children to. Working on a NSFW Jackson Jekyll fanfic and my OC Amber gave him a massive hickey,lol I also have quiet a few same sex couples in some of the stories. Also on wattpad I have two SFW fanfics and you can find them by using the user name I have here as it’s the same there. I need to work on my Valentine Fanfic, I stopped at the point where it’s discovered he in fact is the new lunar god and a real road block in Sunfire’s crazy adoptive Aunt and Uncle’s scheme. I do have a story where Holt Hyde gets alot of attention much to Jackson’s annoyance and I have a few of them where Jackson and Holt are seperated from eachother making them thier own person, I also say they are brothers when like that. For the Hickey or Love Bite as some call it, I’m trying to picture Jackson trying to explain that one when it becomes visable and the reactions the others would have to it,lol I also have a fanfic with Invisi Billy and my OC Becca Cohen and let’s just say Scarah Screams is not to fond of her...and Cleo DeNile is not to fond to my OC Lyla Tigre,lol Also Lagoona doesn’t like my OC Eella Moray either, can’t help it thier boyfriends found those girls interesting,lol Lyla gets alot of attention since she actually plays sports with the mansters and her favorite to play is Casketball. Have quite a few Neighthan Rot fanfics as well, he’s always paired with my OC Alana but don’t worry she gets along with Frankie Stein as they are often seen hanging out together when Alana is not with Neighthan.

I may update the list later as there are more I have yet to name and make profiles for. As for some of the same sex couples having children, two have special ablites that allow them to have children where as Spectra helped Porter and Loki have a child. Storm and Nova Cohen are often in some kind of trouble with the others usually bailing them out. Jayson Jekyll is Autistic and Lynx has ADHD. Jayson can’t stand loud noises,slimey textures and the only ones who can touch him are his family and friends, he freaks out if a stranger goes to touch him. He even freaks out if a doctor goes to touch him, his dad usually has to go in with him to keep him calm so he can get his check up. Jayson is also verbal meaning he can communcicate with you. Heidi is usually the one who calms Jayson down when he freaks out and she uses her noise cancling headphones to help him block out loud noises so he calms down. I have ADHD and I know someone who is Autistic, so I created these two this way for a reason and yes I was bullied for having ADHD as the idiots never took the time to do research on it so they thought I was to stupid to learn anything, fooled those idiots though, I’m way smarter then they thought I was. Also the person I know who is Autistic yeah they get picked on to so i made two special characters to help get to know these two spectrum disorders...and as Lady Gaga would say, I was born this way. Lynx’s dad Ketsu also has ADHD and if you read the story “Horror Movie Magic” On wattpad, when he comes in he and the other explain what ADHD is and how it affects a person, in the story with Jayson, now that he’s a teenager, he’s the one who comes out about Autisum and tries to help the others understand it and how it differs from person to person and how some are not verbal and can not communicate and how frustrating it is and Heidi shows how being willing to work with them is a learning experience for you and how you can help them as she works with her brother when they are much younger and works with him as a teenager as well. I can not stand bullies and do not like seeing people with Autisim and ADHD picked on just because one does not understand what is was and I just love the idiots who think a mental illness is contagious and try to avoid the person all together...newsflash for you idiots its not contagious the person is born that way and sometimes it’s not caught until way later in life. Ketsu’s ADHD wasn’t caught until adulthood much like mine was but his sons was caught when he was in 4th grade. Jayson’s autisim wasn’t discovered until he was in 5th grade. Also I read some head injuries can acually cause ADHD like symptoms and may eventally lead up to a diganoses of it. I’d rather take the time to learn about what a person has rather then jump to conclusions are treat them badly because I don’t understand it, it’s much easier for me to sit down and do research on what they have and get an understanding of it that way I get an understanding of them and what they have to go through with it. I’d rather treat everyone equally and like a human being, I’d rather reach out and help someone rather then push them away. So even though they are O.C’s created by me, Ketsu,Jayson and Lynx are special to me. Keep in mind everyone is special and unique in their own way. Be Yourself no matter what anyone else says, you are you, you are special in your own way, you were born the way you were. Monster High teaches us about acceptence, how everyone is different and how to be yourself. Writing is an outlet for me and it helps me express myself and I love it when my writing also helps others. Another thing about me is, your sexuality doesn’t matter to me, you are a human being and deserve to be treated like one and that is shown with Heidi when her brother comes out as gay, she loves him no matter what,He’s her brother and if anyone picks on him because of it they end up dealing with Heidi and she’s not to pleasent when pissed off. Lyla is protective of her brother as he’s openly gay and still gets idiots on his case...Manny Taur but after Lyla beats the crap out of him he let’s Tay alone. Oh and how does Lyla beat the crap out of Manny with her being way smaller them him, size doesn’t matter, she takes him down during football (or what ever it’s called in the monster high world) practice and beats the ever loving crap out of him for him bullying her brother Tay. Amber Also beats Manny up when she catches him picking on Jackson Jekyll, she also has to pull Jackson out of his locker but she still beats Manny’s ass for it. So yeah to these girls size does not matter...him picking on thier loved ones was his downfall. Sophie also beats the catnip out of Toralei because she get’s Heath into a whole heap of trouble and it did not sit well with Sophie who can mutate her hands into weapons, she can also mutate her body covering it with armor like skin so yeah Toralei doesn’t damage her at all. Fighting doesn’t really solve anything but in thier cases it teaches the bully what happens when you mess with some one they care deeply about. Edit :I updated the list.
