Day 7 - Same Face

Sage Griffin meets Aggie Morrigan ( @thecaptainsgingersnap​ )

“I don’t understand why I have to go with Ridge” Sage whined pacing around her shared bedroom

From the bed Mercy watched Sage pacing

“Ok, you need to sit down, you’re making me dizzy, besides Sage, we all know Ridge would get lost if he goes alone” Mercy said 

Sage plopped down on her own bed and let out a groan knowing her sister was right about Ridge

Centerville 

The streets of Centerville were empty, Sage turned onto a street when fog rolled in. Sage drove past numerous darkened shops except for one that gave off a purple haze.

“Pull over, Sage” Ridge ordered

“Excuse me? You do not give me orders” Sage said

“Just pull over! We’re coming up to my favorite bakery” Ridge said

“What about the drugs? If Malachai finds out we didn’t drop them off right away he’s gonna be pissed” Sage said

“He’s always pissed, but blame me” Ridge said

“Fine, but you’re paying” Sage said pulling up to the curb

“Fine” Ridge said quickly unbuckling his seat belt

The two friends stood outside the shop “Deja Brew?” Sage asked pulling her studded jacket tighter around herself to stop from shivering

“They have amazing goodies” Ridge said before disappearing inside

Sage stood alone outside for a moment looking between the bakery and the truck “I hate Ridge” she muttered before pushing open the store door.

Behind the counter stood a young woman with black irises, pale blonde hair and ruby red lipstick, Sage gasped in shock the woman looked exactly like her minus the way she was dressed.

“What. The. FUCK???”

Ridge bounced up to Sage with a lopsided grin “I thought she was you when I first came in here” he said.

Sage punched Ridge in the arm “you didn’t think to tell me I have a doppelganger? You of all people know what meeting one’s doppelganger means” she said frantic “do you think I’m ready to die?” she asked
